The hosts and guests discussed Bitcoin’s continued rally toward $100k, fueled by Jerome Powell’s comments framing Bitcoin as a competitor to gold rather than the US dollar, which many interpreted as a major green light for institutional capital. The conversation explored whether Bitcoin must directly compete with gold or can coexist in a hybridized monetary system, with strong arguments presented on both sides emphasizing Bitcoin’s superiority in portability, scarcity, and auditability. Additional topics included profitable Litecoin and Dogecoin mining outperforming Bitcoin in some cases, Amazon Web Services partnering with SonarX to improve blockchain data access for Web3 and AI developers, upcoming CFTC leadership candidates under the Trump administration, and significant controversy surrounding Magic Eden’s ME token airdrop mechanics, diamond-to-token conversion, and forced mobile wallet claims. The space maintained a lively, humorous tone while diving into macro, regulatory, infrastructure, and on-chain developments. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

Are we gonna break... Wait. Did we break through a 100,000 yet? Let me just take a quick quick quick look. I see the the quick live tracker. [0:07:20] Voice E: No. We have not. [0:07:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: We have not. Close, but no saga. And then it'd be interesting to see how many liquidations are gonna happen once we bust through a 100,000 because that's... We to go a 100,000. Feel like we're going to a 105, a 110 quick quick. But, yeah, man. Welcome, guys. Super excited for everybody to have you. Again, like I said, Nat Nat can't be here. She has some IRL stuff that she needs to tend to. Obviously, like, wish her well. Hope everything is... I think everything is fine, by the way. Nothing nothing is bad. Everything is good. Cool. What is good, my bro? [0:07:51] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah, man. We're good. We're good. We're good. Ken, it's... It was a good day. It was a good day. I I I noticed some... There's some big news. Like, it... To me, in my opinion, it might be the biggest news we've ever had in crypto. In my opinion, I mean, because I I I think differently, but, man, it's that Jerome Powell news, man. So we we talk about that when it's time, but holy shit. It's it's... It's... Things are gonna get crazy out here, man. It's gonna get... Things about get crazy, though. I'm excited, man. [0:08:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. I wish I had any idea what you were talking about because I've literally been under a rock all day. I [0:08:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I I... Are you serious? You don't know? [0:08:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I swear I swear to god, bro. I'm literally catching up on news as we speak. [0:08:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay. Yeah. Let me... I'm not... I want you to read it and you... Okay. She wants to get... Okay. That that... Okay. That's why big... Start start pumping bonus. Let me... I do have that. I thought it was the appoint... [0:08:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: I thought it was the appointment of Paul Atkins, the official appointment of Paul... Of Atkins. No. [0:08:51] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, no. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. [0:08:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. No. No. Wait. [0:08:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'll I'll I'll find it cool. I'll find it. Don't worry about it. We can we can kick things off. Let me say what's up to Landy. I'll find it, and then we can definitely kick it off for sure. Landy, what's good, my bro? [0:09:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hello. How is everybody? How are you, Dave? How are you? Cool. I was also catching up on the Jerome Powell Newell news. [0:09:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: Noodle news? [0:09:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: Newell news. It's Newell news. It's... It it it is interesting with his comments, and it aligns with my own thoughts on on, Bitcoin. So if you're reading this right now, Dave up top, he basically had said what we all kind of have been talking about for a long time, that Bitcoin is a competitor to gold. So, you know, this is this is confirmed by by him, and, he thinks the same way as as many Bitcoiners and, actually do. So pretty cool stuff. Yeah. I'm just enjoying some peanut butter filled pretzels from Costco and some Mexican Coke. [0:09:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, Mexican Coke is the, that's good. That can come off wrong. But if you know what we're talking about, yeah, like, the Mexican Coke in the bottle... Glass bottle, oh [0:10:03] Voice E: my god. Yeah. [0:10:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's pretty good. [0:10:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: You you guys are, you know, you guys are funny, man. Listen. We are not endorsing any. Mexican Coca Cola. Okay? [0:10:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. Coca Cola. Yes. I... Let me be clear. It's not just straight up Mexican Coke. That would be... You don't do Mexican Coke. You do Colombian Coke. [0:10:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: You buy a Mexican [0:10:25] Kool @koolcryptovc: Coca Cola. Get serious. I I thought you're talking about the the the the stuff that, that we stuff from from the coffee. [0:10:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Wall Street knows candy. Yeah. [0:10:33] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. That's Colombian. Yeah. [0:10:36] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. That's Colombian, not Mexican. When you talk Mexican, it's always gonna be Coca Cola. And if you're getting Mexican Coke, like cocaine, you're probably [0:10:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Probably Colombian. [0:10:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: Go to the hospital. [0:10:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're probably [0:10:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: gonna die. [0:10:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: But, also, that would be the most interesting pairing in the world. I don't think there's ever been... Not that I've... I'm condoning or that I'm admitting anything that I've ever done this before, but that would be a very odd pairing. [0:10:57] Kool @koolcryptovc: You you know, just just... I got I got I got a quick quick quick quick story. Quick story. We... I... My my friends and I, we went to Mexico. Right? I I live I lived in San Diego for a long time. San Nig... San Diego is in California. It's... There you go. It's a it's a board... Border city to to to to to Mexico, to Tijuana. So we we went there all the time. So we... This one weekend, went there was me, like, two of my friends, went there, went to club. It was fun. A lot of fun. We are leaving. And as we are leaving, this lady, she looked like a like a freaking model, man. She was she was banging, man. Her hair all the way down to her freaking butt, man. She looked tight, man. Okay? She came to us. She was... And her her English was... Wasn't that good. It was okay. And she was, oh, can you can you take my car? Can you can you take my car? You know, you you just drive it across... Back to US across the border. And we're like, what? Like, I said, no, man. And and my friend was like, oh, yeah. I I I could do it for you. I was like, no. No. Wait. Wait. No. No. No. So we... I took him. We we we walked away. And when I started thinking, holy shit. There was probably cocaine in that car, man. [0:12:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: You were trash. She was trying to make you a drug mule, bro. [0:12:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: Exactly, bro. Yeah, man. It was it was a black suburban brand new. Whoo. Yeah, man. Tijuana was crazy, though, man. Those days were crazy. [0:12:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Get you to mule shit is hilarious. Do that all the time still. [0:12:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. All the time, man. All... I'm like, yo. You think we we... I'm gonna drive a car for you from Mexico to The US? Are you crazy? [0:12:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know what it is? They gotta give up to us. They... I'm sure they have, like, a deal with the US government. Some... May... Unless you're living under a rock, bro. Like, CIA is is is okaying, like, half the shit that comes into this country, but they have a deal with their problems. Like, enough of these schmucks to say yes and drive across the border so we can at least look good and get a couple of fucking bus at US customs. So a bunch of unsuspecting schmucks coming out of the club all drunk. They're like, oh, oh, a suburban. I'll definitely drive this back to you suspicious little Mexican fucking. Like, what? Like, what are you talk... Like, are you kidding me? Cool. Good job. I mean, there would be no ATC if you would have gotten in that Suburban. Thank god. But I was gonna say, Landy, that would have been the most awkward pairing ever. Mexican Coke and and peanut butter filled pretzels from Costco. I cannot say that I've ever... Or whoever has ever been on any sort of, yeah, enhancers, would choose peanut butter filled, pretzels from us. [0:13:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hell no. [0:13:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: That might be actually the worst. That actually might be the worst combo with the peanut butter. [0:13:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh my god. With the peanut butter? Oh, man. No. No. No. No. No. [0:13:43] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Beg differ. I beg to differ. Peanut butter pretzels are fantastic. [0:13:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: I think he's referring to what's known as the drip. [0:13:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Ah, yeah. I mean, have you ever... Yeah. That that ever sound familiar... That sound familiar to you? [0:13:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: Have you ever watched Eddie Murphy's eighties stand up comedy? [0:14:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Anyways, gentlemen, button up. We have a lady on stage. Sunday d, I'll come over to in a second, especially after that peanut butter comment ridiculousness. Yours... Your future is looking really bright, though. I love your glasses. Linus, welcome. It's good to have you back. How are you? [0:14:20] Voice C: I'm beautiful. Thanks, guys. [0:14:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's been You are. [0:14:24] Voice C: In Toronto, Cardone. So I'm doing fantastic. [0:14:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Gets them every time. Got them. I know. [0:14:35] Voice C: Yeah. He always, like... I was in his spaces, like... And then, like, I feel like he wanted to remove me a couple of times, and he actually did. But now he feels like I'm being respected in other spaces, so he kinda, like, listens now, which is very interesting to me. [0:14:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Who does? [0:14:51] Voice C: Who? Cardone. Right? Because I'm [0:14:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: like, man. [0:14:55] Voice C: I was like [0:14:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: I was like, did you look at Tron? Like, you know, did you look like... Do you want [0:15:00] Voice C: just BTC? So anyway, I'm here. Nice to be here, guys. Keep on. I'm just catching up in a moment. I'm always late. Fashionably late is my red prompts, but I love you. [0:15:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Let's go, Linus. And what's up to everybody that came through? Baba Crypto, I see you. Anybody that wants to come up, feel free. Presley, I see you. I love you, girl. I got your back always. GPSC, Hinano, Omie Wang, what's good? Trav, Tron guy, what is happening? LJ, what up? Kramer's in the house. I like that. Dev, lighting fireworks upside down. D one and only is in the building. Batman's here. What's good, Riot? I gotta figure out how to say this name. Nagorax. Is it Nagorax? Yo. Sunny d, how do you say the name? Is it Nagorax? Is it Nagorax? Is it... What is it? [0:15:51] Sunny D @dylN0chill: It's dependent on whoever says it. [0:15:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh. [0:15:53] Sunny D @dylN0chill: But but everybody knows what you what you mean when you say it. [0:15:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Fair enough. Fair enough. Shut... And shout out and shout out to the fucking... The the the illest, the most suave fucking, like, black bunny king in the building, mister Fluff himself. Shout out, Buildo. The Buildo bunnies in the building. Let's go. Guys, let's get into the news. And like I said, if you come up here at your own peril, especially if hero gamer comes through, I'll tell you right now, there's no nat nat to protect anybody today. Nobody. Do you understand me? Everybody is fair game. Okay? You come up here. You come up [0:16:31] Voice H: here with risk. You come up here with respect. You understand me? You come up here. You respect the people that are on this stage. You don't respect the people on this stage. That's it. You're gone. Get the fuck out of here. [0:16:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. I'm done with my fucking... With my Brooklyn mafioso bit. [0:16:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Alright. Fair. Whatever. Pretty good bit, honey. [0:16:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thank you, honey. I appreciate that, sweetheart. Gamer got so uncomfortable when I called him honey yesterday. He was just like, oh my god. It's it's... I'm so uncomfortable. It's like, yo. Chill, Gamer. It's just fucking the bits, bro. We do it for the content. Alright. [0:17:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: So uncomfortable he didn't show [0:17:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: up. Yeah. Yes. Mission accomplished. Oh, we wanna build, though. You know what this one is? Yes. Thank you. Alright. Let's talk about this Jerome Powell news then. Chair Jerome Powell says Bitcoin is a competitor with gold and not the US dollar. Very interesting comments. Cool, apparently, like, crypto Twitter ablaze. But it's interesting now. Like, as I'm reading, like like, the... As I'm reading the story, I'm curious how you guys interpret this because, I mean, when he says something like this, is this... Maybe it's just me, but are we looking at... Is this the reason why Bitcoin's creeping up on a 100 k? Like, is this the reason why? Like, this is massive positive sentiment? [0:17:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. That that is the reason, Manny. I I I I was I was actually on a space when I when I saw it, when I say it breaks. And, like, minutes later, the market... You know, the bakers are running up. Right? So I I I I think people need to... There... There's a deeper meaning to this. Don't focus on just the on just the words. Right? Look look at what this means. What what what does it mean? This means that they've given the big money back to green light, man. To me, in my opinion, I think, Jerome Powell, it might be the most powerful person in The US or maybe the world, maybe. Because this guy, he's... Has a finger on... Are are are we raising rates? Are we cutting rates? Are we printing money? Are we sucking money out of the system? And if if he's saying something like this, Bitcoin is... A gold market cap is 17,000,000,000,000. Bitcoin is 1,000,000,000,000. That's 17 x from there. Now you now think. Right? It's get... It's giving the big money bags the green lights to finally buy this ship, which we we we... Which means we we... We've been saying for a very, very long time. And so things get... Things about get crazy. Of course, a dip's coming for sure for sure. But the long term, I see Bitcoin flipping gold 100%. [0:19:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't don't jip it if it's if it's trillion dollars, my boy. 1,948,000,000,000, not 1,000,000,000,000 anymore, my guy. That's Bitcoin right now. That's double what what we remember that. But... Yeah. Okay. Great assessment. Yeah, man. Linus, please, for real. Jump in. [0:19:22] Voice C: I mean, first of all, Bitcoin already overtaken silver as we know. Right? And it's not a threat to gold. I think it's a threat to the entire monitor system. So, you know, think bigger. Right? And I was... And I'm still catching up on the news because I've been busy and then jumping between spaces. But I think even Putin today, right, said that Bitcoin is unstoppable. So, of course, if, like, all the major players, KOLs... Right? I mean, I don't care what you say, but I always joke Bitcoin is a meme of countries in jurisdictions now. So this is what we get. I personally do not like when people compare Bitcoin to gold because, there's much more more scarce assets in the world, like, then it's multidimensional. But from a valuation standpoint, again, my position remains, like, forget about gold. Like, look at the other assets as well. They're just so used and hung up on gold similar how a BTC Max is a hung up on Bitcoin without seeing another piece of a trillion dollar market attached to Bitcoin. [0:20:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Good point. But I feel like... Yeah. And, Linda, I'm kinda curious really what your take is. Right? Because in a way, it's like... Mean, I I I get what Linus is saying, but I feel like we're saying the opposite or we're interpreting it the complete opposite where Powell is literally saying, like, gold needs to be weird. Like, fear... Like, yo. Bitcoin's coming to eat gold's lunch. Like, am am am I am I not reading this right? [0:20:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. So a few different things here. One, Powell's speech didn't make its way around, and did not pump the market. The market actually hit a key level that we saw market makers buying at prior to him actually getting out there. Did it help exacerbate the move to the upside when it was around 97,000 to go and hit into the 98, 99,000? Yes. But I wanna be very clear. This is something that we've talked about here. Nat, I, cool. Dave, we've talked about this. And that is that gold is is the easiest way to explain the position that Bitcoin is in right now as it is to relate it to an asset that people understand. The fact is that putting Bitcoin into the treasury as a treasury reserve asset, the fact that that is going to happen or is very highly likely going to happen. We have to see it happen. Right? But it's very highly likely going to happen. That means that Bitcoin is a direct competitor to gold and every other asset that is being held in treasury. Right? And that is the comparison that he's making. Now the reason why this is really interesting is because of the dollar to Bitcoin trade from there. When you have Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset, especially if they begin to flush it out through the Bitcoin act, the Lomas Gillibrand built, that would, of course, expand reserves. But that also means that we're backing treasuries with Bitcoin, and that means that the bit... The dollar to Bitcoin trade strengthens the dollar. So we have this this flywheel. I've... I talk about it all the time. This is a brilliant flywheel. This does make it a competitor to gold, but that doesn't mean that we don't... That that one is better than the other. I I think Bitcoin's better than gold. I think Bitcoin is the the hardest, quote, unquote, money on earth. How does Bitcoin become money and fulfill what the Maxis want? Well, it backs the money. I don't... You know, we've talked about this before, and I've said this on this stage before to you guys and gals that Bitcoin was never gonna run a side by side system and overtake traditional market systems. It has to infiltrate. It always had to. That was always the goal, in my opinion, when reading through the Bitcoin talk discussions. And now we're seeing that this has been well recognized by many in positions of power. So they have to relate it to gold because gold, you know, at one point backed currencies. And they... The currencies were just an easy way to transfer that gold asset if you ever wanted to redeem it. We don't have a way to do that, anymore, but this is essentially a competitor to that. And I think that what we'll eventually see is just this hybridized asset, the dollar being hybridized on the back end via the treasury with Bitcoin as the front runner. What does this mean for market cap and stuff like that? Likely gonna chase gold for the next eight years and and do what gold did. I'm I'm very bullish on that, actually. If you look back at when ETFs were launched for gold, you saw the eight year run. It was a very long time sideways and up in compression, even what going a little bit down before rocketing up, in terms of value. I think that we see that it's a finite asset, and it it is in a class of its own. But the only way that they can explain it to, you know, normal people and other investors is to say that it's like gold. It's like a store of value, which then becomes money by being that store of value. [0:24:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Lindy, let me ask you... So let me ask you guys this question. Cool. And everybody up here. Like, can't they both exist? Like, I feel like when we say direct competitor, right, like, gold is genuinely used, right, like, in products. Right? Like, it is in demand because of its actual real value. Right? Like, we use gold. Like, it is a premium precious metal for a reason. For the vanity reasons, right, for jewelry and for... Like, you can't look at any electronic, any iPhone, any Android, any any handheld device you cannot look at without, like, understanding that there is gold in your... Literally gold in your phone, and you cannot make these without them. Right? From a conductor perspective, like, of it. Why do they have to compete? Right? Like, why can't Bitcoin become that store of value and gold still have... And maybe gold will actually realize its actual real price discovery at the end of the day. You know what I'm saying? Where it's like, hey. Now you can actually put this shit. Like, it's... This is the real value of gold of how we are genuinely using it based off of how much it's in demand as opposed to being both. Can it not be both? Cool. [0:25:46] Voice C: Yeah. This whole thing about comparing because I get, the previous speaker's point that it's easy to explain, but why can't we just embrace that it's a new digital asset? And we really don't know. I mean, if you read the, you know, white paper, the Bitcoin standard, I I think it was a way to go around everything that is centralized. Right? So I don't think it was... But I I feel like it's almost like, you know, you're starting your startup or scale up, and people see you as a competition even though you just wanted to go off to a new market. Right? So it's just like... I think it's how people perceive things and process it. Like, you know, similar how, you know, banks don't like Bitcoin, taxes, you know, don't like or didn't like Uber. Right? And then they realized that they should, you know, embrace it. Right? Because it actually, you know, brought back them, you know, more business. Like, similar with PayPal. If you remember the history of PayPal, like, the whole irony of it that, at first, like, banks and financial institutions faded it, but then they realized that it actually is creating a reverse network effect, right, for those who want know the history of PayPal. And I think, I mean, again, see, I'm kinda contradicting myself because I'm giving you some comparisons from the past, but I'm just trying to explain to you. Like, people have that tendency to get defensive instead of, like, holy shit. This is a completely new thing. It's a completely new market. That's how I feel about Bitcoin. This is how I feel about some amazing chains outside of Bitcoin, like Tron, for example. And this is how I feel about in my economy. So instead of fading it, just, like, admit that there is something new, something that we did not see before. And, yes, there are some timeless things, but we don't necessarily need to compare everything apple to... Apples to apples. And not everything from or our past is gonna apply to the future. And to me, this is a definition of growth mindset. [0:27:41] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So so we we... If you you can't... Okay. So Bitcoin to me is more of a... Is is friendlier for the 20... For for for the future. Gold gold is old, man. Gold is old. A lot of people that buy gold are older older people. You don't see you don't see anyone, you know, in their twenties or 19 saying, oh, I wanna buy buy gold. It's crypto. It's it's Bitcoin. Right? I'm not saying crypto in general. So that's difference. And plus, of course, we're living the age of of of, you know, the age of fast. Right? People like fast. People like people like tech. Gold is is the old relic. I'm I'm not saying it was a gold way. Right? But the the... And just recently, didn't didn't they just find some massive gold reserve somewhere recently? [0:28:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. [0:28:33] Kool @koolcryptovc: Canada. Right? Yes. Like, the like, the biggest reserve... I think was it China or whatever it was, but but that's what I'm saying. So this this, this also makes Bitcoin more bullish because it's it's it's a, you know, it's it's a cap supply. Right? And, we we have all the Bitcoin that lost in the past, but you can't compare them, man. You really can't. I mean, of course, I I like the fact that, they're saying it's... You know, it's it's completion gold because it makes it easier for the old people. The old people, they they don't like all this tech stuff. And when you make it simple, then it makes sense. Then it makes sense. That's why I said, Jerome Powell making a statement is game over, man, because this... It just means that, oh, now I can invest in this stuff because Jerome Powell and and BlackRock people are talking about Bitcoin finally. And I'm saying, okay. Look. I could buy Bitcoin, and it's flipping gold. It's oh, a 15 to 17 x from here. So that's what I'm talking about. But, yeah, you you you can't even compare the... In my opinion, Bitcoin is way more... It's it's way... It's it's a it's a it's a better asset and way more superior. You can't carry gold on your ledger. You can't carry gold. Your your... You you could hold $2,000,000,000 worth of Bitcoin in your pocket and travel to anywhere, but you can't do every gold, man. As if you can't even compare. [0:30:01] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I think this reinforces the fact that the US dollar is a note of debt, and Bitcoin is not debt. That... Just summarize everything right down the layman's terms. So it doesn't even have to be Bitcoin. You could be into a niche like sports car industry, and you store value in, like, a fleet of, you know, rare cars. It can be anything. What this signaled to me was you... They're gonna do whatever they want with the US dollar, and this signal was like, hey. Bitcoin is as as as as good as a store of value as the, you know, buzzword for the boomers. [0:30:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. And I wanted to [0:30:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: full faith and credit of the United States government's on your deal. [0:30:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh god. For a private company. So here's the interesting part. And and and I don't wanna get too too deep in the rabbit hole with the Bitcoin versus gold debate because it is simply being used as a way to help people understand. And it's not just old people. It's it's also just investors in general. It's just there to help people understand how it's gonna be utilized, right, as a backing asset. And, you know, much like gold, Bitcoin has use cases outside of it just being a store of value. But the interesting thing is we have... You know, what... The the whole point of Bitcoin is to have that auditability, and we will get that auditability as Bitcoin is added to balance sheets everywhere, as it's added to, ETF custody, and we can compare the shares issued as added to the treasure reserve, as a reserve asset. You know, we get the auditability. We could see it all on chain. But, you know, the the the supply side things is what really makes it different and the fact that it... Like, all of the things that Cole just mentioned about, you know, the ability for you to carry your wealth with you, gold you cannot, yada yada yada. It's it's great. That's why we love Bitcoin. And one of the reasons why I'm not a big bull on gold, I hold a lot of gold, but I'm not the biggest bull on gold because just this year, in the Wanggu, gold field in, the Hunan province, it found, a thousand tons of gold reserves. What is the estimated value at the time for the gold price at the time? Was around $83,000,000,000 worth of gold. They weren't the only ones, by the way. That was just the biggest one. Russia announced that they found a 100 tons of it, and con... And and, they are going to be doing some resource exploration now coming in towards the end of the decade. But, you know, we're gonna have an ever increasing supply of gold, and all it takes is for some some big asteroid to take out half the half of a half of a nation, and it's full of gold too. And there you go. You're expanding supply. Bitcoin is not gonna be expanded supply. So I like the comparison for ease of understanding for for how it's actually going to be used as a... As an asset by the bigger players. Because if you think about this, Dave, Cole, Linus, Sunny, if you think about me, putting Bitcoin into my corporate treasury, right now, it's just backing. It's an asset versus liabilities on my balance sheet until I do something with it via Bitcoin DeFi in a decentralized way, or I issue shares against that value. Right? Like Michael Saylor style. So, you know, it is it is essentially acting as gold, wood in that case. It's just a lot easier, more flexible to use, and eventually, it's gonna back our money. And, our money... Every single dollar transferred, whether you hold Bitcoin or not, is gonna hold some sort of value of Bitcoin. [0:33:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Yeah. I mean, look. Like, I I I don't know. I I just... Good good points all around. Right? Like, I obviously don't wanna go too far down, like, the rabbit hole, but I don't know. I guess I just see it as, like, they don't have to compete with one another. Right? It doesn't have to be gold or Bitcoin. Right? Like, I just... I don't know. [0:34:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's a Kumbaya relationship. I do agree with you. Like Yeah. What I would ask you is you... You've been on Wall Street. Right? Uh-huh. You understand the banking sector, and you understand the treasury sector. Right? When when you look at the eventual goal of what the Trump administration has even floated out, there's long term goals beyond the... This this current term, is to really go towards what the XR peers have been screaming about for years with the Nassar, Jassar stuff. I know that we joke around. I joke around a lot about that. The whole rainbow currency thing, it does have a base in reality, which is why they get traction with it, with the more crazy stuff. Right? But a rainbow currency would be backing with Bitcoin, gold, silver, you know, and then other assets, also the war machine and The US tax... US taxpayer dollar, The US taxpayers note, basically, and military might along with all of these basket of assets kinda behind it. And that's kind of the goal to get things back on track and cannibalize all the debt. So, yeah, I don't I don't think that they need to compete. I I think that you're 100% correct. [0:35:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Could it be interesting to see how this whole shit plays out? But, obviously, like, that obviously fueling Bitcoin... Man, that god... I love seeing those god candles from just 95 up to 99,000 on the chart. When I open up Coinbase, man, when I open up my app and I just see pop pop pop pop pop pop pop And I'm just like, what? That's one of my favorite things to, like, like, open open up open up the app too. You know? Easy killer. All of a sudden, the dog never barks, and now all of a sudden, he barks. Give me one second, guys. I'm sorry. [0:35:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: We've been talking about the Federal Reserve a little bit too much. I think the FBI is on their way. Who's got that bang bang bang? [0:36:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Open up. FBI, open up. [0:36:10] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I would say, Landy, you you don't think... You know, because I... It just feels like... It it feels like there's a there's a massive, massive cell wall at a 100 k. It just seems like every time we push towards it, if we just get [0:36:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: some Yeah. I'm looking at back to... It is I'm looking at [0:36:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: the order book right now. [0:36:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's Am I right? Am I am I right? [0:36:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Once that's cleared, be prepared for teleportation, otherwise known as Bitcoin Houdini tricks. [0:36:38] Kool @koolcryptovc: Because I... I've seen this before. This this happened at 50 k. This happened at, like, 10 k. [0:36:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes, sir. [0:36:45] Kool @koolcryptovc: And it it it just took months and months and months. We tried and tried and tried. And I I I don't know. I just... I don't know. I just feel like we... I don't know. I I I don't wanna say we we we we we we... We're not gonna break a 100 k. I'm saying don't be surprised if we don't anytime soon because of the massive cell wall on... At a 100 k. It just seems like every single time we get close, we get smacked back down. I've seen this shit before [0:37:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Who's buying at a k? Cool. Who's buying at a 100 k, Lindy? [0:37:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Cool. Institutions, arbitrators, market makers. They gotta provide liquidity. So market makers are working the margins. Right? So we're working the ARB. I say we're... I'm no longer a market maker. They're working the ARB trade right at the top and at the bottom. Like, they... They're... It's it's like you can still think about it like the forex spread, like the the the the bips and... Or the pips, depending on where you're from. By the way, for those, people in The UK that don't like when we say bips, it's a joke. That's the whole joke for those forex traders out there is because we don't wanna say pips. So we'll call them bips just to piss people off. Look. The... That sell wall will very quickly get cannibalized by market makers, I think, this time around. Going in for the second round, if it does reject, we might get above a 100,000 then come back down. Like, that's one of those things. Like, I'm looking right now at bullish divergence on the daily. We're getting signals in terms of trend being a higher low, being set at the end of today. If it closes anywhere here or higher, I would say a close above 98,300 will do it. That would look beautiful. I would even keep it in the clear. Above 99,000. Well, you know, the the song got 99 problems, but saw a ain't one. Uh-huh. Because... Look. I... Hey. I was hunting for that one, but I... I've I landed the plane. [0:38:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Not bad. [0:38:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm gonna start saying land the plane all the time. [0:38:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm... Land you the plane. I'm gonna tell you land you the fucking plane. [0:38:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, let me land you this plane and tell you that there's a lot of thing... There's a lot more things pointing towards a $100,000 minimum all time high test, which is right around a $100,000 than not. It's a matter of closing above it. So it's not about the sell wall and rejecting a $100,000. It's about getting closes above it on the daily and higher term time frames. Then we start seeing that sell wall disappear because they're gonna pull and just move to higher levels. Right? Same for the market makers. [0:39:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. [0:39:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm gonna remix this. I'm gonna rewrite these lyrics. I like PPP style about how... Just centered around landing the plane, bro. That's it. That's it. That's what I'm a do. But, yo, check this out. I love... Yo. I just read this story. This shit is crazy to me right now. Ready for this? Bitmining Ltd has reaffirmed its commitment to mining Litecoin and Dogecoin highlighting several key developments. Listen to this shit. Okay? As of November 27, Bitmining has mined 84,485 LTC and 227,908,250 Doge utilizing its in house developed l d three miners. Now I don't know shit from shit about this, but here's the other bits. Here's the other bits. All I know is this makes very clear dollars and cents to me. The company's l d three miners contribute approximately 1.32% to the combined the combined global hash rate of Litecoin and the Dogecoin networks, which is fucking ginormous. They operate 5,552 mining machines. They achieved a combined hash rate of 18.94 terahash per second, positioning it among the top contributors of LTC and Doge Networks. They're recognized for their cost effective and short payback periods, making Litecoin and Dogecoin mining more profitable than Bitcoin mining, especially amid recent price rallies. The development of these l d three miners follows Bitmining's 2021 acquisition of blockchain hardware design from b computing. I've officially now seen it all. Litecoin is a fucking meme coin. Dogecoin was a meme coin, now a real coin, and now Litecoin and Dogecoin is more profitable than Bitcoin. Okay? Don't tell me that this space does not change on a fucking dime day to day. This is craziness. Cool. Have you heard about this, bro? [0:41:38] Kool @koolcryptovc: Nah. Nah. That's pretty nuts, man. Yeah. That's pretty crazy. Jeez. I I wish I wish I know I know the mind shit, man. I... You know, being encrypted for this long and not being in a mining game, man. Damn. What is this? It's crazy, though. Yeah. I I... Man. That's that's that's a lot of money. Wait. So let me ask a question, How hard is it to mine Dogecoin or or Litecoin? Is that... It's like is it like Bitcoin? I know it's kinda crazy. It's I'm [0:42:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: not as difficult. [0:42:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's not it's difficult or it's not it's not difficult? [0:42:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. No. It's not as difficult. [0:42:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: You could do it on, a Raspberry Pi, I heard. Like, I mean, you're not gonna get, like, a crazy amount. Like, you gotta run a bunch of them if you really wanna make it profitable. But, like, I genuinely know people that were literally mining Doge on a fucking Raspberry Pi, bro. Yeah. I've been [0:42:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: mining I've been mining Litecoin and Doge for a long time. It's it's not difficult. And the the... Shout out to all my m web brothers out there. [0:42:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: We've been in the... We've been [0:42:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: grinding for a long time on this. And finally, we're getting some recognition from bit mining. And [0:42:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Shout out to the Doge and LTC miners. I love that. I never thought I hear those words on this show. [0:42:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Shout out to to little x out there. Little x Elon's son. Little x out there mining some Dogecoin. [0:42:54] Kool @koolcryptovc: And out Pookie. [0:42:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Pookie. I was gonna do it too, but [0:42:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: you you beat me too. It's great. [0:43:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: That was great. But, yeah, now this is cool. And you know what this is prepping for. Right? Yeah. Who knows what this is prepping for? [0:43:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: QFS. What? No. Right. [0:43:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: That would be hilarious. [0:43:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: Alt season. [0:43:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: All, Well, alt season, but it... When you look at the traditional market applications, go to Robinhood, you see Bitcoin, Ethereum, and what else headlining right there? Litecoin and Doge. What do you think's coming next in terms of ETFs? Why do you think that Bitmining is out there pushing this? You know, they are traded as a ticker b t, I think it's BTCM is the ticker on n y s e. And, you know, this is a pretty good... It's pretty good marketing if you wanna get out there and attract more players to the game who have been busy, busy, busy in the background with spot ETF proposals. [0:44:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're having girl problems, I feel bad for you, son. I've got 99 problems, but a bitch ain't one. I've got... GP, what's up? Yo. What's up? [0:44:12] Voice G: I was just reading somewhere that the Haktua girl, like, launched the token on Soul and it rubbed. [0:44:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yep. Hey. [0:44:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: We ain't at that part [0:44:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: in the show yet, bro. You know what mean? We gotta prep people for that kinda shit. [0:44:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: Know? Oh, my bad. My bad. [0:44:26] Voice G: You spit on it first. Yeah. [0:44:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: You gotta spit on that thing. You know what I'm saying? First. Yeah. [0:44:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: You that plane a little early. [0:44:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. He definitely landed the plane a little early. Hey. Yo. Yeah, man. You gotta... You know, you can't just shove it in there. You gotta have two of that. Guys, a little decorum. Seriously, Linus, I'm sorry. These these savages. I don't know what the hell they're talking about of his ridiculousness. Guys, come on. Button it up. Put your suits back on. There's a little lady on the stage. [0:44:55] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I hope everybody got themselves a nice pair of sunglasses because [0:45:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: The future's gonna be bright? I'm telling you. [0:45:04] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Where are these opportunities coming from? They're just popping out left and right every day and every day. Every day. There's another one and another one. Another one. [0:45:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, yeah. What do you mean? But I... And another to all of these other ones at the top because I feel like I'm never gonna get back into them. I'm never gonna find an opportunity like this again. [0:45:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Nope. Better better buy it all right now, right here. Slam that buy button at $100,000 in Bitcoin for everything. [0:45:31] Sunny D @dylN0chill: What we said. We wanna get through that buy wall. Go pick five Normie friends and go get them to buy. And then [0:45:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: $10 apiece. Don't worry about it. We're gonna do this just like that, the Pepe pump. If everybody on Reddit just pitches in $10 and then you do the math, it's like a $100,000. Like, they're gonna move the market. Everybody gets in [0:45:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: 6¢. Okay? And we're all gonna move this wall. Okay? Go. And it's like, little fucking blip on the radar. You're like, did it happen? How about... Is it in? Did it happen? No. [0:46:06] Voice G: Oh, shit. We just got Manip to answer in the in DMs in the STX cabal. [0:46:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, Manip is active in the s... In the LEO chat? [0:46:17] Voice G: No. It's... Somebody put together an STX cabal. I can't remember who it was. I think it was Omelette. Omelette put it together, and then Oh, [0:46:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: he just Thanks for the invite. [0:46:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: What kind of shit? [0:46:29] Voice G: Invite both of you guys right now. [0:46:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wow. Lynn, do you win that one? No. [0:46:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm not in any of the cool chats. I'm in all the all the chats where everybody just fights with each other. [0:46:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Maybe, oh, I see a pattern. Maybe that's just us. Maybe we're fighting amongst ourselves. Maybe that's why Maybe that's why they don't they don't invite us. Yeah. It's me and Lindsey going back and forth being like, fuck you. Fuck you. It's just like [0:46:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: They're just fighting with each other. Like, man, just let them fight it out over here. [0:46:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. These two of the smartest guys, the two of the dumbest motherfuckers ever. But, anyways, listen... But, guys, check this out. Listen to the price of Litecoin right now. Okay? Litecoin is at a $133. Let me bust out my trusty little... I'm gonna bust out my little calculator. That was my calculator, sound. And at a $133... Okay? Holy shit. So a $133 times $84,004.85. Thousand $4.85. Yo. That's $11,200,000 mined in Litecoin. And when you look at Doge, 227,000,000, you don't need a calculator for that one. That's well over a $100,110,000,000 bucks in fucking Dogecoin that that that they're sitting on right now. That is a lot of money. It is more profitable to... Do you ever think you hear this? It's more profitable to mine Doge now than it is to obviously mine Bitcoin. Man, we are in some crazy times. Anyways, next story. I got a good one, and I I actually really love this one because this resonates with me. Excuse me. This one resonates with me heavy. Amazon Web Services has partnered with SonarX to enhance blockchain data accessibility for web three developers. So listen to this. And for everybody that is like, web three decentralization, understand something. The majority of these data providers that we're getting our data from, whether you think, oh, but Chainlink. Chainlink is the Oracle that brings data on chain. Everyone is still using these web two servers, whether it's Azure or web... Or AWS. Right? Like, we are reliant. Like, the web three world is massively reliant on these data providers. So just to be clear, but this is a sign of really, really great news, especially for someone like me that's out here trying to build in this AI agent economy. Right? So here's the here's the stipulations of the deal. SonarX is now gonna enhance its blockchain data accessibility for web three developers by offering one, free public access. So AWS and SonarX are providing developers with free public access to blockchain data aiming to foster innovation and streamline the development of decentralized applications. Now this isn't just like, hey. You can access BaseScan or Etherscan. Right? SonarX offers a platform that aggregates and indexes blockchain data, delivering it in a user friendly format to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis. I know this might seem like real nerdy, like like nerd shit, but I don't think people genuinely understand. Like, in order for applications, really good applications to to be be built, built, it starts with data because we have... You could have all the data in the world. Unless you have clean data and data that is easily retrievable from any of these sources and quick, you're gonna die. You're not gonna be able to build a fully functioning app, and the same thing goes for these AI agents. So for me, I'm reading this, and I'm like, holy shit. This is great. So now it says AWS's commitment. This partnership underscores Amazon Web Services' dedication to supporting the Web three ecosystem by offering scalable and reliable infrastructure tailored specifically for blockchain applications. By simplifying access to comprehensive blockchain data, this collab enables developers to focus more on building innovative solutions rather than managing complex data infrastructure. That is the biggest problem that is faced by developers right now. So this is now... If you think things were moving fast before, things are gonna speed up like crazy when I see news like this. Cool? Any any take on this? I mean, maybe this is just one specific to me because I geek out on this stuff, but I don't know. This this just tells me, like, the the rate of innovation is now gonna amplify times a 100. [0:50:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Let me pass this one, man. I I don't know too much about this. [0:50:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: You good? Landy, Sonny Linus, anybody wanna chime in on this one or am I... It's okay if I'm solo. I'm I'm totally fine with that. [0:50:52] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I mean, you nailed it. Like, the faster they can pull data and assemble it into... So it's easy to access and people can experience it in app, like, it's gonna be so subtle, but the results are gonna be just massive. Amplify... Amplification of speed of data retrieval, speeding up developers, developing process. They're doing less, like, tedious work and more building. Like, we're... It's gonna have massive ripple effects. You nailed it. [0:51:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Deadly. [0:51:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was gonna say, I I was just having a a really good conversation this morning in the Stacks ecosystem with attract funding and and a few others that are working on AI and utilizing AI. And one of the one of the main problems is is that data retrieval for the different datasets that you're trying to train on. So this is a natural evolution that's needed, and I'm all for it. Like, I'm excited about this stuff. I don't know nearly as much as you guys do and gals. I'm way behind. I do feel like the grandpa in the room when it comes to AI stuff in that regard because it is moving so quickly, and now it's gonna move even faster. So I'm I'm for it. I I I wanna see where this goes, and I think that, you know, we're we're looking at the next building narrative. We got the, you know, meme super cycle and, I think, AI super cycle and meme super cycle are gonna get intermingled and continue in that direction. And there's actual real utility to the AI versus a lot of the memes, that are pure memes. So I think, you know, we'll start seeing a shift over, which I think is really cool. [0:52:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. [0:52:40] Voice C: I think we're gonna just see, many memes actually embracing some of this stuff. And AI is not new, guys. Right? And if you think about it, it just... It pattern recognition. So it's been, you know, there for a while. By the way, I worked for Dun and Bradstreet, which is, like, you know, the data company at core. Right? So they're sitting on, like, you know, trillions of different records. I'm actually looking, you know, forward to the future when you own your data. Right? And if somebody is using it, then you get incentivized. So... And I know that there have been, a few attempts to do that, but I'm still to see something that, you know, came to fruition. And for example, if somebody is using my... I don't know. I'm just making it up right now. Information like my credit score or, you know, medical records. First of all, I wanna have a say, you know, if I want this information to be shared. And b, if I do share it, I want to be the one who is getting some rewards for that. Right? Unlike what we're seeing right now when we become a product of, most, centralized, you know, platform. So... And then if on top of it, you're gonna put AI, you know, that is beautiful. And I'm talking putting AI across different verticals and industries beyond, you know, crypto. But I think, you know, everybody's in agreement in this room that the convergence between, you know, crypto blockchain and AI is already happening, and that is, unbelievably beautiful in my opinion. I just want to see more, you know, like, real solutions, not just, you know, talking about it. [0:54:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Same. Linus, are you building any type of, like, AI agents? Are you into the AI agent stuff? I'd love to kinda... I don't know if... I feel like you would be into something like that. Like, I'd love to kinda pick your brain and chat with you about it because I feel like I'm on lonely island over here. Everybody up here is kinda like, crypto, crypto, crypto, and [0:54:38] Voice C: I'm just [0:54:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, AI. [0:54:39] Voice C: I... I'm into deep tech. Again, I have a pretty interesting, you know, history, you know, career professional wise. I've been in crypto for, oh my gosh, almost ten years. But I also did some stuff around data, AI, drones, robotics. I was looking at some interesting things. I was actually doing some stuff as x price when COVID hit as well, speaking of AI, because when everybody was panicking and let's just, you know, call it what it is, blindsided by the bullshit media. We were trying to bring AI to analyze some stuff similar how XPRIZE, which is mask shop. For those who don't know, it's headed. Peter Darmindis is one of the guys there, and they were looking for alternative ways. And they actually look at innovation, like, from a completely different, you know, perspective. So, again, like, I can talk, you know, big picture. I can talk, you know, small but I also have been a part of some fascinating things when people are actually, you know, building and looking at things differently. And to me, that's innovation. And that's why, again, my... And I came from another space. I say that as much as I absolutely adore Bitcoin, I think that the future is much brighter, much diverse, the universe of digital assets. And this is what fascinates me, you know, currently. That's why I keep repeating myself that it is multi chain. It is certified. And do we diversify? And I'm also gonna predict some new entrants into the market as well and new innovations. And if you don't have that mindset, then, you know, don't take it the wrong way, but just clearly stick to Bitcoin and Trifai. Just don't look at things like that. So... Yep. [0:56:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're you're turning my brain on so much right now. We need to talk. We definitely need to talk. I am such a sapio, man. Like, I love this shit. Like, listening to you talk just now, like, I'm such a fucking nerd. Like, I'm just like, yeah. I need to... We we need to chat, like, Linus for real. Like, I I I love it. [0:56:40] Voice C: Listen. D You [0:56:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: know what [0:56:41] Voice C: DMs are open, but I also wanted to know I have a soft spot for certain chains. [0:56:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, [0:56:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: here's the funny thing. When Linus talks, I... And especially when she mentions verticals, I imagine myself back in the boardroom. And I'm like, yes. I totally get this. And it brings in, like, the total, like, the total boardroom landy, which no one has ever heard of before, which is kinda crazy because I used to actually wear a suit and a tie. [0:57:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: It was a boardroom landy. Like... [0:57:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. So... Yes. I was on the board. [0:57:16] Voice C: So, guys, what do you think? I'm just a pretty face and red palms? I [0:57:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Red pretty face. I didn't even look at your face. I'm listening to the words coming out of your mouth, and my brain is... You're tickling my brain right now, Linus. [0:57:27] Voice C: First of all, you can call my ex bosses. Like, the ones that are calling me right now saying, we should have often listened to you. [0:57:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Wait. Wait. What chain what chain are you impartial to? This is what I need to know. If I... Listen. We're gonna start this relationship off right. I need to understand where do your allegiances lie. [0:57:43] Voice C: Okay. I have a spot for Tron. I actually believe it's the test for OVAB three. [0:57:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. [0:57:51] Voice C: Okay. So call me crazy. [0:57:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Dee, we love her already. Okay. Keep going. [0:57:55] Voice C: Okay. I do have a toxic relationship with Solana. [0:58:02] Voice C: So, you know, I'm worried that, [0:58:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: you know, I have a problem because, like, how can you not? [0:58:09] Voice C: You know, but I also do appreciate, you know, base and, all of that stuff. But just for a second, back to your comment about, you know, corporate and all of that stuff. Listen. I love DeGems. I can be with DeGems. My son is one of them. But at the same time, yeah, I was at those, you know, board of directors meetings and talking to freaking hedge funds, trying to educate them on Bitcoin, and then we were building something. And I actually have a funny story when I was kind of the board of directors with all those private equity guys and all that stuff. And my son was in the room because I invited him, and I was drawing all this stuff on the wall. And, like, I was so excited. And we left the room, and my son goes, like, how much are they making? I said, [0:58:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: what? [0:58:52] Voice C: Like, because he... Because, like, they don't effing get it. Right? So, true story. And, nothing against anybody, but I'm just trying to tell you the way it took me years to bring along some, you know, friends even from my business network to Bitcoin and then, you know, other things. I think that's exactly what's gonna happen with other, you know, chains and [0:59:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Linus, we're gonna make some we're gonna make some beautiful music together, me and you, in in the in the blockchain sense. I'll tell that right now. Base and Tron, that's all you needed to say, and then we're good. We're gonna be the next power couple out here, you and me. [0:59:28] Voice C: Solana? Will you forgive my business for Solana? [0:59:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Of course. Were you kidding me? Yes. A 100%. It is what it is. Listen. Fuck Solana for right now. [0:59:36] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Everyone has a toxic relationship with Solana, even the Solana [0:59:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Max. Yeah. Exactly. It's it's toxic. [0:59:43] Landy @CryptoLandy: Par for the chorus. [0:59:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It's toxic it's toxic until it isn't until it is until it isn't until it is. It's it's a back and forth. But, yo, let's let let let's keep let's let's keep pushing. Appreciate that, Linus. Guys, next story is... Listen to this one. And and I'm really curious to hear what you guys have to say about this. So president-elect Donald Trump is considering several candidates for the role of, CFTC chairman. So we obviously saw... So this is where, like, my head goes when I see headlines like this. Right? Obviously, everybody's super happy. Gensler gone. Atkins in. But there was also the narrative of, like, well, maybe we should shift it away from the SEC. Is that narrative done now? Right? Like, are we done with the narrative of, oh, it should be... It should fall under the CFTC, or was that just kinda like the Gensler narrative? Do you guys get what I'm saying? And it's like, how important is this? And they laid out... And let me let me give you guys kind of the candidates here in terms of, like, who they laid out. So Caroline Pham, who's currently serving as the CFTC commissioner, an advocate for the development of digital asset companies, proposed a pilot program to regulate digital asset markets. Another woman by the name of Periann Boring, founder and CEO of the Digital Chamber. She's recognized for her strong support of the digital asset industry. Summer Mersinger... And, by the way, can I just make make make one comment here? Any fucking crazy person that's like, missus Trump's misogynistic, his whole cabinet is women. Like, literally, every single appointee that I've seen this man literally... Like, every person in his cabinet that I've seen, positioned in his cabinet, like, it has been... Like, there's been, like, tons of women that have been nominated, and a good chunk of them are now taking, like, the helm at some of these, like, huge fucking position posts in his cabinet. So, yeah, I just wanted to throw that out there. Anyways, Jill Summers is another one. John Sterling is another one. The one... The the one man, he's a partner at a law firm, but it looks like FAM and Boring are the ones that that that that are in the lead. But my question still remains, guys, like, like, where do we see this, like, regulation falling? Do you think... Like, do we still wanna make the case of, hey. This shouldn't be just SEC. Like, CFTC should definitely have a role in this entire thing. Or I guess, like, like, where do you guys stand on this? Cool. [1:01:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I don't I don't I don't think it it really matters under Trump as the president. I don't think [1:01:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: it matters, [1:01:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: man. This... That... You know, the crypto industry poured over 200,000,000 into his campaign. I don't think it matters. It it didn't matter when it was Gensler as the head of the SEC. But right now, you're getting... You know, you're probably gonna have a friendlier, you know, friendly CFTC. But the SEC chair now... I mean, according to what I've seen so far, I mean, this guy, he lets things thrive. That's what I keep saying. Right? You wanna let things thrive. So I don't think it makes a difference under Trump, you know, because the the industry now has a seat a seat on the table. But I don't know what happens after four years. But at least for now, I don't think it matters, man. [1:02:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Landy, guideline is... Then we'll go, Landy. [1:02:45] Voice C: I was gonna say, listen. And I appreciate that you highlighted some, you know, power women in this space as well. I should absolutely adore Kristen Smith, right, the head of Goldstein Association. I've done some stuff with them. I 've done some stuff with digital chamber of commerce. I was in DC, like, a few years ago. And and also, we have senator Lumas. And also, even, you know, our crypto mom crypto mom at, SCC, she's fantastic as well. And, honestly, like, in a good way, don't care where it falls under as long as there is clarity. And I said it many times before, like, some of this stuff, we don't even need to reinvent the wheel because, like, remember this whole thing about utility token, security tokens. Like, while US is still, you know, scratching their head, like, look at Switzerland. They nailed it, like, you know, over six years ago, and they said, like, this is a security token. This is a utility. And and by the way, there are hybrids. And end of story. And I remember I was, talking to CryptoMom, and I said, like, why don't we just, like, similar to start ups in, you know, large institutions? Sometimes, you know, smaller countries, they just move faster similar to start ups, and we just, in a good way, can borrow and copy, you know, some of the thinking. And just like my two Satoshis on the head of SEC, I actually would love to see someone, like, who appreciates both, systems, but also somebody who actually has been building something in the industry. Like, I have a huge respect for Brian, you know, and others. Not somebody who just comes in and takes over, but somebody who's been growing with the industry and brings that, you know, fresh perspective. So that kind of deal would be ideal instead of somebody who is just, like, you know, did consulting or was observing it from the sidelines. And for the same reason why I'm so lionish in what's happening at the highest level because we're gonna have people running the country who appreciates the value of money and building companies because to me, government is just another large, very complex metrics organization. [1:04:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well said. You are super plugged in. We definitely... Like, I need... You need to come back on this show, Linus, for real because it sounds like you have genuinely spoken. Like, you're on the front lines out here. So, like, I I really, really, like, enjoy, like, your take. So please, like, come back here on a regular basis if you don't mind because that insight is really valuable. No bullshit. [1:05:07] Voice C: I appreciate it, and I appreciate what you said. Like, I'm trying to actually bring billing. I have a selfish agenda. I'm trying to educate and bring billing latest to crypto And by three degrees, I believe it's the future of finance, and I want Ghost to see that you can be intelligent, gorge. You don't necessarily need to sacrifice other assets to be recognized in the space. But, yeah, I've been around in a good way, and... But I'm also super bullish on the future and happy to be to be and happy to follow everyone and and talking. Okay? [1:05:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: 100%. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for that. Landy, I know you and your buddy fucking... What's his name? Why am I why am I blanking on this? Oh my god. What... You and what? [1:06:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: Alpha gamer? [1:06:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Not alpha gamer. Not alpha gamer. Spread. You and Spread were like, oh, which one in the list in there? You guys are making lists and crossing things off and crossing names off. Like, talk to me about the CFTC stuff. Like like, where are you where where are you at with all this? [1:06:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: Look. I like all of the names that are floating around out there. One name that that has not directly been associated with with, Trump is, a gentleman that often goes by or has adopted the moniker, Crypto Dad, and that is, Chris Giancarlo, who is, his, CFTC chairman. Was under Trump in 2017 to 2019. That's another name that's been floated out there. One of the things... One of the critiques of him is the digital dollar, the digital dollar project, which if you're not familiar with the digital dollar project, it's a CBDC. So that is a knock, and Trump has been very clear that there will be no CBDCs. And and... But the thing is is he's... Giancarlo is very, very plugged in. He's already done the job. He's he's... His his whole thing was do no harm in terms of his approach to digital assets. So, like, just let it let it be where it's in... It's under our purview of the CFTC. So, you know, to kind of address your first real kinda talking point regarding this with the SEC pick, Atkins, and the picks that are are kind of being floated out there, as potentials for the CFTC, I think you're gonna see a realignment back to the CFTC having purview over what it was supposed to have purview over in the first place. And that's get the freaking SEC out of our damn hair. That's... It's a bunch of bullshit. And, realistically, when it comes to main chain stuff, they need to stay away. It's the stuff on the chains that really does need to be considered for security purposes under the purview of the SEC. And that's where Atkins, I think, could really help out and work together with the with the incoming CFTC, chairman, whoever that is, whoever that pick is. And I think that it's gonna be it's gonna be whoever he picks, he's... He set it he set it up for success. Right? Because these are all people that have either done the job. They're... Or they were... Or they're already a commissioner, or they've, been been, in the position, fairly recently or in the past and have some interaction with digital, cryptocurrencies. So they they have a good handle on the situation. I think it'd be perfect to pair, those two agencies together with crypto friendly people. That's what he's setting up. He wants United States to be a crypto friendly country. He wants crypto to be built here. He wants Bitcoin to be mined here. You know, this is this is all directly in line. And, man, for all the people and all the flack that Trump caught first term when he was new to Washington DC and had his cabinet and all of his advisers and all these position... Filled out by absolute shitbags. Well, look at how he learned from that. And I think that if that hadn't happened, he would have never learned, and it would have been set up for failure going forward. I think that that was perfect that the the horrible things that happened to him and by virtue of happening to him, happening to a lot of American industries, a lot of crypto, a lot of just regular everyday people, we wouldn't have learned the lessons that we learned. He wouldn't have learned the lessons that he learned and been setting things up in this way. I think it's great. I'm a big fan of these picks. And no matter who he picks, I think is gonna be very, very good to pair with Atkins over there at the SEC. And granted different purviews, but I think they're gonna finally pull things into their own lane like they should have been in the first place and not have a damn Gary Gensler, just trying to screw everything. Even when the CFTC chairman's like, no. We... This is ours, and you need to stop. And, like, even even commissioners over there at the CFTC saying, like, yeah. What they're doing to Ripple is not okay. This is not right. Right? Even in the past few years. [1:10:09] Voice C: So so with Coinbase, when, you know, they... You know, Brian Armstrong, you know, was, to me, he's like a true offer that, you know, took that fight for the entire industry. Right? And pretty much, he came to us to see, and he agreed to work with them and educate them. And then look what happened. Right? So... And I'm most... [1:10:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yep. [1:10:30] Voice C: I I loved... [1:10:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Served with the Wells notice right off the bat. [1:10:33] Voice C: Yeah. And I loved everything that you said. And I also hope... And I'm actually very on some of the advisers. Like, look. Even Justin from Tron, right, is an adviser now and getting closer to Tron. To me, it's, very and bullish on so many fronts. And, again, you know, just my sentiment that we do need those progressive, you know, guys and girls, to educate. And, also, it's gonna drive back innovation in some companies back... Crypto companies back to The US because we lost so much talent to Asia and Dubai and other... Listen. Again, it's not a competition. It's just like everybody... It's a free world, and I do believe that crypto, you know, is decentralized and global. Like, you choose where you wanna be. But from a country economist standpoint, you know, once he... You know, so what did he promise? Trump promised to remove tax Taxes. The tax Yeah. On The US issued, you know, tokens. And look what Russia is doing. Right? Like, they did, like, a flat tax, for crypto, just like a very simple, elegant model. By the way, I grew up in Europe, but I've been in states for over twenty years. I still don't get to pay in taxes and medical system. Like, this is just, like, over in [1:12:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's insane. [1:12:02] Voice C: Like, surreal insane. And, you know, if anything that I'm looking forward to with, you know, Trump and, Musk and advisers like Justin is, simplification. And, again, I don't care if you're a woman, if you're a guy, if you're 90, if you're 18. Just bring common sense to the table, and let's get shit done. That's how I'm... Like, let's simplify things. And, you know, if we need to upskill and reskill and educate, that's a completely, you know, separate conversation, but I think we're headed in the right direction right now. [1:12:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Facts. And, Dave, Lioness, cool. This is really interesting. So you'd mentioned Pham is, Carolyn Pham is also one of the potential picks. She was heavily involved, with the Chamber of Commerce talks, that were part of that whole token alliance thing with... That Paul Atkins really helped to highlight. He wasn't, like, the main champion of it, but he really helped to highlight it having somebody, there's a former commissioner for the SEC involved. And she was really, really good and really, really, under... She really understands this, and she's not known for understanding this, but she really... She was a part of that and really understands cryptocurrencies and digital assets. So I think no matter where he goes with this, it's it's gonna be a positive, and it's gonna really drive forward what we've been talking about here, which you guys have been talking about long before I joined the stage here as a guest speaker, with the direction that things are gonna inevitably go. And then now it's a a much more friendly environment, and the sky's the limit. And all the different connections to these specific tokens are something that you should also look at because you know, that whole Tron thing that that Linus just mentioned with Justin, they've all talked to him. [1:14:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Linda, you hear how she's trying to subliminally get us to, like, replace bullishness with lionish? You hear that? She's she's subliminally messaging us right now, and I like it. [1:14:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm thinking it. [1:14:09] Voice C: This is my trademark, guys. This is my trademark. [1:14:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: I hear I hear it, Linus. [1:14:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: Here's the best part, Dave. Your accent, every once in a while, Linus comes out as Linus, and it makes me think of Linus Tech Tips. And then I'm just picturing him starting up, like, a a... An... A Litecoin and Dogecoin farm with his spare servers now. So the... I'm all mixed up. Yeah. It's been a great day. [1:14:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're all you're all left out. So, guys, let's let's jump in. I wanna get to the Magic Eden story because, obviously, like, that's that's been top of the top of the timeline today. Obviously, the tracker came out. Just one last thing... One last quick story before we get into that one. Just another another notch again in the Bitcoin belt, Hut eight, a leading Bitcoin mining company. You guys have heard us talk about Marathon over and over and over again. Right? Convertible notes and what they're doing, and they're all investing in wind farms now, right, like alternative energy. Hutt Farm, now a leading Bitcoin mining company, has announced two significant financial initiatives, 500,000,000 of at the market equity program, which allows Hutt eight to ultimately issue up to $500,000,000 worth of its common stock through an at the market offering, meaning at the current price. That gives them massive flexibility, and then a $250,000,000 stock repurchase program. So Hut eight has initiated a stock repurchase plan authorizing the buyback of 250,000,000 of its common stock. Anytime you see a company buying back its common stock, that tells you one thing. If the insiders are bullish on the... On... If the insiders are bullish on their shares, that gives you all the more reason to really have a more positive outlook on that on that specific company and the sector in and of itself. So another really positive sign for the mining, for for the Bitcoin miners. Although, if I'm being honest, I'm sorry. No. I'm I'm looking... I'm gonna chat GBD trying to figure out how to mine some Litecoin and some Dogecoin of that earlier story. But let's talk about the Magic Eden story. Magic Eden tracker came out today. I have yet to check my balance. Cool. I know you are the airdrop king. Have you done a lot of, trading on Magic Eden prior to 2022? I hear there's some, like, real big multipliers for those that were, like, o g o g's. Have you checked your balance yet? What is it, if you feel like telling us, how many more Bitcoin you've eventually made today? [1:16:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: So I I would check yes. I I normally wait. I don't rush to check, Edsall. I don't really wait. So I I did I did buy... I did trade, decent amount on my Eden before 2022. I I don't remember how much, but I'll go check. I mean, so, yeah, if you if you if you got this, big ups to you, but I was seeing a lot of a lot of fraud on timeline with with with with the allocations. A lot of people are not happy with allocation. I think, like you said, they rewarded a a lot of the the traders before 2022, but a lot more people that were trading on on on on the on the platform recently, they got nothing on... Barely nothing. But when I get home, I'll check it. I'm not... Guys, I I... Okay. I have a long term portfolio that I... That's that's for, like, the next twenty years. Right? Okay. Cool. I have a shorter portfolio. Okay? I have 38 tokens, and 29 of them are airdrops. I don't buy anything. I just I just get rain rained upon airdrops from different different protocols. Right? Because that's... I I I... That... That's kinda how I do do things now. I'm expecting another 30 in next year or two years from now. So even if I don't do well on one, I... There's not always another one. I guess the the... What what I'm trying to say is if you are big in making money from crypto, I I recommend you focusing on other ecosystems too because there's other ecosystem that just won. But for ME, it should it should do well, man. I... When I get home, I'll check it. I'm not really... I'm not worried. I'm not too. I'm like, bro, I got so much coming, man. It's crazy. But, yeah, if you got envy, big ups to you, man. Big ups to you. But once I get home, I'll check it. I'll I'll post my my whatever online. So I'll let you know in about ten minutes. [1:18:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Beautiful, man. Landy, have you checked your, your Magic Eden, allocation yet or no? [1:18:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. I have. And, boy, oh, boy, is that a bunch of bullshit. Excuse my language. But, yeah, I have, over 500,000 diamonds, in just, like, two wallets, not to mention all of the, like, 30 or 40 others that I have, on Bitcoin that I have yet to check and link. [1:18:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Isn't it, like, 10¢ a diamond is what it works out to or some shit like that? Like [1:18:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: I have no idea what the actual breakdown of the math is gonna be. There's a lot of speculation around that. [1:18:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: I think given where it's trading right now on whales market at, like, this morning, I saw, like, $3.50 per, like, ME token. And... Well, maybe I maybe I don't know I don't know if a diamond is an ME token, but, yeah, I saw... They were saying, like, it's about 10¢ at... Or or... No. No. Sorry. With $3.50, Magic Eden token price works out to about 10¢ a diamond. [1:19:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. So... Well, the conversion from diamonds to the ME token is what people are taking issue with. Also, the big carve out for the Magic Eden team is the other part that people are having ish... Have an issue with. Now what I will say in their defense is I think that they're structuring, like, the unlock periods in the correct way. The thing is is you're counting on a team to handle things the right way. Right? That's the big... You know, the big controversy is is people have tons and tons of diamonds, and and the... Their... The issue is when converting, like, these large diamond amounts and how that translates into your ME token allocation is not making a lot of sense. Like, I have a ton of diamonds, but there's some people with a lot less than me that are getting more allocation for the ME token. And it wasn't, in my opinion, well described what those other factors were because many were just thinking, hey. The more I buy and sell, the more, the more diamonds I'm getting equals the more ME token I'm getting, when that is actually not the way that it's it's it's panning out. And I think that took a lot of people by surprise. So we are seeing a lot of FUD. And, realistically, for where well... Wells market trades things, it's... It can be really goofy. They they... They're being very speculative with their valuation. We need to see as allocation and supply hits the market what the market's gonna value it at. That's the reality. You know, I'm... I I think across all of the, wallets that I've I've uploaded now, I think I'm finally up over, like, 6,000 or something ME tokens or whatever it's gonna be. I don't think it's gonna be worth as much as many think it's gonna be worth. [1:21:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: But what [1:21:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: is this quite off. [1:21:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: But, lately, what is this bullshit about? Like, download the the the fucking mobile app and then link your wallet. Like, what it... [1:21:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: Like Yeah. [1:21:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Why do all this? Like, I feel like this is such clutter for no [1:21:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: reason. Okay. So they're utilizing this initiative, this airdrop to get people involved in downloading or pushing for downloading their mobile wallet. So they they only recently released the mobile version of their wallet. And, you know, we've seen some adoption with it, and they've they've improved the UI and interface with it. So the... This is just an initiative to drive you to the mobile wallet. So the way that they're doing this is you go to the ME Foundation. Please use the official links from the official x account. You need to have the mobile wallet, and you need to be doing this from the PC. You go to the ME Foundation website, and that I'm... I can tell you, it's mefoundation.com is the correct link. Please just follow the link that they posted from their from their official x account. Once you're there, you'll see the claim ME. Once you click that button, it's going to give you some instructions for downloading their mobile wallet. If you already if you already have it downloaded, you you don't have to worry about it. You just go and you open it up, and there is a scan QR code, little option right at the upper right hand of the mobile wallet app, and then you could just scan the QR code. Otherwise, you go and you download it. Once you have it downloaded, you scan the QR code, you link your wallets. You you have your your seed phrases, basically, or for your existing wallets imported in there, or you make a new one, which obviously wouldn't have an ME claim. So you're gonna be importing your seed phrases to this new ME wallet on your mobile device, which a lot of people are pissed about. But here's the thing. You don't even have to do anything. You just need... You don't need to actually do the seed recovery. You can have a brand new wallet. All you're doing is making sure that you have a Solana wallet. That is gonna be the claim wallet in your ME wallet. And once you scan that QR code, it's going to bring you to another, page on the website where then you can link all of your other wallets from your browser. It will then scan the eligibility for the ME token. I don't know what the criteria is either because I have wallets that I would have thought would have been eligible because I have plenty of diamonds in them, but then it's telling me that the wallet is not eligible. So now I'm unclear about what the eligibility is. That's where a lot of the controversy is really coming from in addition to people being very upset about the low claim amount of the ME token itself. And then, of course, now we're getting... Well, I've only got, like, 5¢ worth even though I've got a thousand ME token. I don't know how they're coming up with those numbers. It makes no sense to me. If you extrapolate it out from Wells Market, what I've seen tracks with what you're saying at around 10¢ per diamond. But how that equates to the actual ME token, I have no clue. I I don't know what the market's gonna look like when this is actually trading on the tenth, we see. And this is the other part. Maybe somebody else up here knows this. I'm still unsure if I'm gonna have to go and claim this with my Solana wallet or if it's just gonna be airdrop. [1:24:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Why do you keep saying Solana wallet, bro? Like, it's Solana. It's Bitcoin. It's base. It's, mean, you could trade everything on Magic So why just Solana? [1:24:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: Is is the claim wallet. Why? See when you log into the foundation, the Solana wallet's the claim. [1:24:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: So so hold up hold up one second. So I I downloaded the Magic Eden wallet. It prompts me, like, to enable face scan. Okay. Cool. But then it prompts me for my 12 or 24 word seed phrase. Are you saying I shouldn't do that? [1:24:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: You don't necessarily need to do that. [1:24:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: So how do I [1:24:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: You can create a new Solana wallet right in the app there and then scan it and then link all your accounts through the website. So there's... You know? But people are are recovering. So, like, you can have a brand new Solana wallet with the new... With the ME app download. You scan the the QR code. This new Solana wallet will become the claim wallet for your AirDrop or your claim for the ME tokens. [1:25:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: But how do they know what you're eligible for if you're not connecting all your wallets? [1:25:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Because what you're doing is once you scan the QR code after you're in the mobile app, once you scan the QR code on the ME Foundation site, it will update and it will say wallet dashboard. You'll see the ME wallet. You'll see the Solana wallet that you have scanned from the mobile app as the wallet on the dashboard there. And then you'll click link wallets, and then you'll need to have your Magic Eden, X verse, Unisat wallets, whatever it might be. And then you link those from there because you have to sign each transaction. It will then tell you if it is an eligible wallet, if there is a claim available, or if it's not eligible and there is no claim available. So, like, I have only imported... Or I've only linked two of my Bitcoin wallets, for instance, to where I have about four four hundred to 500,000 [1:26:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is so stupid. [1:26:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Diamonds in them. [1:26:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is so dumb. [1:26:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's it's it's a really bunk ass way to get people to download their mobile wallet. That's what this is. [1:26:30] Voice C: This isn't Hey. Like, I just... Like, sorry to interject. Like, I'm just like, that's why I'm looking for simplicity. Right? Like, I actually think, like... And I think the space is still so fragmented. Right? There is too freaking many wallets, you know, too many exchanges. Like, you can't really, you know, trade across, the entire market depending on the chain. And I actually think the solutions that are gonna go multi chain, like, no relation to Fantom, but I think Fantom is beautiful. Like, they're rich at, you know, base Bitcoin. Right? I can wait for them to maybe even add... Because our Tron has... On wallet. It just, like... I feel like this is, like, a massive on the simplicity. But try to explain it like, a normie, but they already lost you. Yeah. [1:27:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Here's here's the thing that that was, you know, for those that didn't do the test ME claim, many are thinking like, oh, I'm just claiming with my Bitcoin wallet. Well, yes, in a way you are. That's one of the linked wallets that has diamonds that's gonna make you eligible, but it's actually the Solana wallet that you're... That's going to receive the claim. And this is where many are getting confused because then you've got Solana and you're linking your Ethereum and your Bitcoin and your Polygon and your base and your this and your that. And it's like, what the hell? You wanna talk about friction. They just threw up the biggest wall of friction that you've ever seen in your life for this shit. And, honestly, you know, I get what they're trying to do. Their wallet is flexible. It's it's slick. It looks nice. It's not the most user friendly, in my opinion.... [1:28:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Dumbest thing. Like, this is the way you lose people, not the way in which you gain users. Like, I understand the [1:28:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: I agree. [1:28:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: I understand the logic behind it, right, where it's like, oh, like, they wanna do this. Let's get them... I get that logic, but don't make it like this. Bread, like, I saw you in game, but, bro, talk to me, man. Like, did you do this whole shit? [1:28:23] Voice E: No. I'm not even wasting my time, dude. And, like, I'm... So I've been in crypto a long, long time. And, like, anybody remembers Mew Wallet. Right? I mean, like... [1:28:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh my [1:28:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: god. Right? I I Oh. [1:28:36] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, shit. [1:28:36] Voice E: And I'm not even wasting my time with this magic eating bullshit. It's way too... It's like, why obfuscate the process so much? You know? I... Whatever. People don't claim? I was in harming anything either, so I don't really... Like, even if I was to go through the whole process, it's not gonna juice isn't worth the squeeze one. [1:28:53] Voice C: What about MetaMask? Like, I could never fall in love with that. Sorry if Yeah. [1:28:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: I didn't like that. [1:28:58] Voice C: Even though I know that they dropped gas fees, like, I broke up with [1:29:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: So But the mask doesn't work. I... Oh, wait. Landy, now... Hold off a second. Are you kidding me? Yes. Do I need a VPN now too? Because I'm not eligible to claim in my fucking region. [1:29:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Yes. You're you're in The United Kingdom, man. [1:29:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. You need a VPN. Come on, [1:29:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: man. Stereotype. [1:29:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: What? Is this connect without a VPN? Come on, man. [1:29:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Really? Yo. Yo. Yo. [1:29:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Live in Taiwan right now. [1:29:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro. [1:29:28] Voice E: Wait. Wait. Make sure you turn that VPN back off if you're gonna be using Coinbase at all, though, now too because Yeah. [1:29:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: Or you'll get paid. [1:29:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's just retarded, bro. This is insanity. We're... Like, this is how we wanna bring on Matt. Like, this is what we want for mass adoption. Oh, by the way, jump through this hoop, this hoop, this hoop. We're gonna light this hoop on fire. Make sure you jump and pure wet through this one. Oh, and by the way, don't forget to, turn on your VPN. [1:29:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Get this. Any unclaimed tokens are going back to them. Exactly. Is the kicker. Any unclaimed tokens after a set amount of time is going back to them. This is this is this is what I, what I kind of felt when we were doing the test, test me claims because I felt like they were testing me. And and now they're testing me again with the me token, and it's really pissing me off because me over there, Magic Eden, has already pissed me off on the ordinal side of things a few times with the way that they handle things for projects that are launching [1:30:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: on their platform. [1:30:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: But they are the market leader. They get to... Look. When you're the market leader, it doesn't matter if you fuck shit up. [1:30:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: So Oh, [1:30:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: it does because you know what? OpenSea was the market leader at one point. I know. Look at them now, begging people to OpenSea do too. [1:30:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: There's... I know I know, Dave, but the point is is they fucked this up right now. It doesn't matter. It's gonna matter later on when a competitor comes up, against them, runs up against them that has enough cash to [1:30:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: do so and take it to [1:31:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: that market. [1:31:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: But why open the door for a blur or for anybody else for market share? Like, you have [1:31:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: This is what happens when you get VCs back [1:31:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: in mind. [1:31:07] Kool @koolcryptovc: Bro, you [1:31:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: have a This is what happens when you take the v... When you kiss the VC ring, baby. [1:31:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. [1:31:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: Get all that funding. Oh, hey. We're gonna place a founder with you, by the way, out of Bitcoin startup last year. Gonna place a founder with you, and they're gonna protect our investment. That's what that is. That's to protect our investment. And they're gonna do this kind of, like, up our own ass kinda allocation games with tokens. And and it... It's... You can see the vision. You can see the future and and and what they put out in the road map. And then when you start to see it being implemented and it ends up like this, you see the roadblocks that they're putting up, then you start looking back to their their road map of, oh, what's not claimed goes back to them. Interesting. So, yes, I can see where the FUD's coming from. I'm a little irritated by it. But, hey, a STEMI is a STEMI. Might as well take it. [1:32:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Like, I I I don't know. You guys, you you guys just wait until it starts to trade. When people start to make money, they'll forget about the the friction. Right? The money money speaks, but we don't know right now what what the dollar value is to the the the, the points... Or not the points, the gems. Right? But wait until the... It it starts to trade. And I think people make money, they forget about the friction, and that's how they give me the flavor. [1:32:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's true, but, like, cool. You know me and my track record, for fuck's sake, with airdrops, bro. Like, every time I check, I sit there like a schmuck with the wallet connect. I missed the StarkNet. I missed this one. I missed that one. Bro, it's been nothing but disappointment and headache for me to be able to do this shit. Not that I give a shit about the $10 a month VPN. It is what it is. But... Oh my god. Yeah. Alright. I'm done. Yeah. Alright. Rant over. [1:32:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. We're good. [1:32:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: We got we got before before we go, we got one more thing, man. You talk about the the the the the Hulk two the Hulk two out, bro. Come on, man. Take take the pin... Take the pinned post, man. I saw some crazy shit going on with that, man. Or people... I saw a trader. He bought about 30 k worth, and and he's... He has $22,000 right now. So a nice a nice juicy rock pool in the bull run. But, yeah, man, I just... Yeah. Is it being posted? You guys wanna read that real quick, but [1:33:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't forget that. [1:33:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: Anyone buy buy Octura? Landy, anyone here? Do you... Anyone buy... Buys Octura, bro? [1:33:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hell no. [1:33:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Octura. Oh. Oh god. You got... Hey. Listen. But shout out to Hayley Welsh, man. Like, she turned literally... Forget fifteen seconds. She turned five seconds of fame into, like, an empire as of right now. So, yo, you gotta get where props were props to do. Lioness, I'm curious. Are you on Hayley Welsh and Haktua? I [1:33:54] Voice C: don't know. I don't know. [1:33:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Are you What he's [1:34:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: asking is, are you a Haktua fan? [1:34:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Not... That is not what I'm asking. [1:34:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. Not in that regard. I mean, the person... [1:34:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: The Hawk to a person. [1:34:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: Cuts both ways. [1:34:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Sure. We we can... I was like, we got she we got shy. She got this now. This is the least time I had never heard Linus get this caught. [1:34:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Right. Brad was gonna add to this conversation. I saw him... [1:34:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Linus, we'll talk... Linus, talk in the DMs. But, yeah, Brett, go ahead. Yeah, [1:34:23] Voice E: man. Like, that was... I mean, well, couple of things. Right? Giant red flags, the fact that they leaked the CA early. Right? So, like, snipers are... You know, it was a sniper game, essentially. And then the team allocation was, like, 90 something percent of the entire supply was held by team members. And it was, like [1:34:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: Nine nine... 96%. 96% to be exact. [1:34:47] Voice C: Right. See, but that's the thing. Like, you know, like, there's so much, bullshit, like, similar to traditional markets when they're, like, all these presales, like, pre allocations. Right? Like, all of that stuff. So that's what I keep saying to you guys. Like, in a way, like, we're kinda repeating the same, like, psychology. Right? What is happening, like, when we seize a plane. Right? And when they get, like, the first round or the private round. So to me, like, I know it's a bad analogy, but sometimes I look it like I haven't seen too many, like, trophy or lunches. Actually, I've done one, but that's why, you know, it's not into multi billion. You know what I mean? Like, it's when you breathe and, like, don't, you know, hide anything. You don't have any cabals and things like that. But at the end of the day, people are looking for, you know, freaking money and access, and I'm not in denial. Right? And, you know, similar to, like, you guys are talking about all those different wallets, but have you seen, like, with the army of these different telegram bots? Right? Like, for sniping, like, on different chains. Like, I'm having, you know, a d d. Like, I mean, I used the couple and, like, I mean, I don't trade. Like, I'm not a trader. Like, I gamble a little bit here and there. Like, I... I'm known for making some amazing calls, but I don't compete with those guys. Like, I know what it is. Like, I sniped a couple of times. My son was like, holy shit, and he's a pro trader. But, you know, it's an art. So if you're really trading, like, you know, to me, it's like a full time, you know, kind of thing, and it's an art. Like... And sometimes you have to have that patience, but I would say not everybody get it 100% right. I don't care what anybody says. [1:36:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. And, Landy, is it really $67,000,000 market cap right now? [1:36:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: So it shot up to... It is right now at 86,300,000 [1:36:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? [1:36:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: With about 2,700,000 in liquidity, but it shot up to, like, was it was it, like, 500,000,000 or more? It was, like, way more than 500,000,000. It was, like, 5¢. So we're looking... Yeah. It was about 500,000,000, a little less than 500,000,000 market cap, and then absolutely got annihilated. Now here's the crazy thing. I think, like, when you were equating, like, the... How much insider insider tokens went, it felt like the... Well, we're only taking accredited investors at this point, so this is the accredited [1:37:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: investor base. They're all trying to build sophisticated enough in order to be investing into Haktua coin. Listen. You you need to be you need to be worth over 350,000 combined income between you and your spouse, excluding your home, which needs to be over a million dollars, because, obviously, this is some serious shit. Red, talk some sense into us, bro. [1:37:35] Voice E: Well, bro, I mean, it launched at, what, [1:37:37] Voice C: a 2, [1:37:37] Voice E: like, a $2,000,000,000 market cap at launch. Like, what? Like, that's not, like... No. No. No. Even the most... Some of the most successful claims we've seen in this space didn't launch anywhere near that. You know what I mean? And ultimately, like like, on on a real note, like, this is why we can't have nice things. You know, because, like, Hawkbee was reached throughout, like, normie social media and TikTok and Facebook and Instagram and all those, like, apps that, like, everyone's on. You know, like, there was a lot of chatter and a lot of people talking about that token that were complete normies. Mean, like, how do I buy this token and blah blah blah? And they probably got wrecked. And now they're gonna be like, oh, everybody was right. Crypto must... The entire industry must be a scam. You know? And it's like, damn it. Like, we gotta stop letting stop letting these hawk two is, like, do this shit. [1:38:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: So you gotta go to the Emmy Foundation and then you [1:38:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: then you download the app and then [1:38:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: you scan the QR code and then you get Hawk two. [1:38:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now. You better stop it right now. Oh my goodness. Guys, I'm gonna pin to the top. There is an an an amazing space coming up by Emily Junior called base season. I follow this guy religiously. Like, great, great, great content. Check it out. That space is coming up in fifty minutes. They're gonna be talking everything going on on base, virtuals, AI agents, the whole nine yards. But, yeah, we're about ten minutes past. I'm gonna go eat some dinner. Guys, another dope space, man. Really, really dope space. But I'm a tell y'all something, man. Like, this just goes to show you, like, genuinely, like, how integral, like, each one of us is. I mean, I know y'all... I know when I'm not here, y'all still have a good time and yada yada. But, like, the fact that Nat's not here, like, I genuinely miss Nat. Like, I... This show is not the same, like, legit without Nat. So I can't wait to get Nat back. I love you guys, [1:39:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: but And data. [1:39:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I... Like, it's not I [1:39:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: can't see it's not the same. [1:39:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It... It's Not the same. It's just not the same. I thought I was gonna be a big tough talker up here being like, you know, and I get to bash everybody, but I just can't do it. And I guess I just need... I need that nap back, man. [1:39:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. She... Yeah. She she she brings a spice, man. That that juicy Puerto Rican spice to the show, man. Yeah. She's awesome. So... Yeah. [1:39:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Shout out to Nat. And, guys, I will leave you with the Landy mantra. Lioness, I'm lionish on you. Come on back to the show. Appreciate you obviously coming here. Sunny d, GP, Landy, Brad. Cool. I appreciate you guys. This is how we will go out. She having girl problems. I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems, [1:40:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: music, he comes over, like, jumping up there like, you done? You done? You done? Have a good day, everybody. I'll see y'all hopefully at that 8PM. And, yo, don't forget. Don't give a shit. We... I got five faces tomorrow. Back to back to back to back to back. Listen. We're closing out 2024 with a bang. Let's go. It's time to [1:40:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: get to work. [1:40:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Peace.
