All Things Crypto w/Dave Kool & NatNat. BTC above $102,000

AIBTCCoinbaseDeFiETFsETHEquitiesFed

The first All Things Crypto space of 2025 opened with BTC breaking above $102,000 as hosts Dave @DCBK2LA, Kool @koolcryptovc, and Landy @CryptoLandy discussed the strong start to the year. The conversation covered Bitcoin's technical setup for a higher low and potential move toward $125k-$130k, the ongoing AI agent narrative across multiple ecosystems, and cautionary advice about scams, rug pulls, and the need for proper research especially on Solana and derivative AI tokens. Speakers analyzed the implications of the incoming Trump administration, potential regulatory clarity, the FDIC's past anti-crypto memos, and the importance of building independent on and off-ramps. The show also featured a lively deep dive into the Pizza Pets game, seed phrase hunting for a valuable Pet Pulverizer, and the power of NFTs as future financial tools. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:01:11] Voice E: Go.
[0:01:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Fucking go.
[0:01:23] Voice E: Drop any money on her dime.
[0:01:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Malendi, we're one word away, bro. My right. One word.
[0:01:29] Voice E: I've never been like a
[0:01:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, hell.
[0:01:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. Oh my god.
[0:01:33] Voice E: Me and it's on my life.
[0:01:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: You cryptos in the building, baby. What up?
[0:01:47] Kool @koolcryptovc: We'll get started in a minute, guys. I'm a I'm a feast of pet frenzy
[0:03:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. My bad guys. I'm literally just cooking on all things. Pizza Pets is driving me crazy. Cyrus, one second. I'm a let you up. Oh, man. What a crazy ass day today, bro. Holy shit. Cool. What is good, my brother? Happy Monday, bro.
[0:03:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yo. What up? What up? Happy Monday. Happy Monday. Happy Monday. Happy Mondays, everyone. Welcome to the show. Everything's good. Great start of the week. You know, new... I think it's the first show of the year. Right? I think first fresh show of the year. Monday Monday for first Monday of the year. So... Yeah, man. I'm just excited excited to be here, man. Yeah. I know. I think we we do have a lot to talk about, I think. I think, but I'm here for it, man. Let's go. Let's go.
[0:04:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, man. Let's go. Let's go. Yeah. I've been I've been literally just entrenched in this Pizza Pets craziness, bro. But, Landy, you're gonna be my savior today, bro. What is good?
[0:04:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, man. I am having fun in the markets today. Nice Monday up candle day, and things are green across the board. Nice trades. A lot of stuff happening. I'm I'm having fun with the Pizza Pet stuff. I'm now digging in myself now into this, last two words of, the seed phrase stuff as well. So, you know, I think, I think there's a good chance this could be cracked pretty soon.
[0:05:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. We're so close, bro. Literally, like, I'm... We're breaking MacBooks over here, bro. Like, that's literally how crazy this shit is, man. Like, we're literally breaking my trying to crack this code, bro, using the seed tool. Oh my god. We're like... I feel like we're so cool. I'm I'm I'm crowdsourcing from this area, and then I'm getting this one to deconstruct images in that area, bro. Oh my goodness. But, hey, Bitcoin is fucking cooking today, boy. I just looked up before, and I was like, goddamn. Bitcoin is literally moving, bro. I love this. Virtual's ecosystem is still cooking. Let me just see some price, actually. Let's just go look at the markets. Let's just kinda see, like, what's up price wise. Yo. Bitcoin over 102,000. Let's fucking go. 3.5... Up three and a half percent over the twenty four hours. I love seeing this. ETH up 1%. Both both leaders obviously up 11% over the seven days. XRP started to cook a little bit, back up to $2.42, up 17% on the week. Don't look now. Dogecoin up 25% on the week. Cardano up 30%. Things are starting to fucking do. I don't know. This thing might be... This rally might be starting a little bit early. Cool. What are seeing in these markets, bro? Talk to me. Give us your your quick little assessment. What's what's what's going on? You've cooking some trades. What's good?
[0:06:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. No. I mean, I I... I'm I'm doing similar stuff I did from 2024 to '25. The markets are looking good for now. I I I don't know. Makes... The market's weird. Very, very weird because 2024... Every end of the year, if you guys don't realize, we always get a tax loss... A tax something harvesting where people sell their crypto at a loss to help lower how much they pay in taxes. But this time, we didn't really have this, man. I don't... It was very, very weird. I I was expecting a massive dump in December. We we didn't really get it. And vol... Volumes came back down. Now, I don't know, it's... Like I said, I don't know. I... I'm waiting until Trump gets in officially. A lot of stuff, you know, they're saying is not priced in. I... Look. I don't I don't... Honestly, for me personally, I'm just running the same play I did in 2025. But I'm sorry, in 2024, but I'm doing it in multiple blockchains, man. Monad and waiting for that and, you know, and all of Eclipse and and a few network. So I'm doing the same play I do with on Celestia. I'm more... I'm running it on four or five blockchains, man. So I'm just kinda waiting until Trump gets in. But a lot of news, man. A lot of news happening today. We saw a lot of people resigning, man. Crazy. We saw the... At the head of the the the FDIC, I think, and some some... I don't know, man. But it's just... A lot a lot is happening. We have, I think, fourteen more days before Trump officially gets in. But I'm just basically just running similar plays from 2024, but in multiple chains, man. That's base base what I'm doing.
[0:08:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, let's go, bro. Yeah. I'm literally trying to cross the timeline now and see, like, what's what's happened. So, like, heads down with this other shit. But, yeah, man, resignations across the board. Landy, what are you seeing on the Bitcoin side, bro? Like, I'm... Or just in general crypto. I know you said, obviously, like, markets are green. You're having a great trading day. What do you got cooking? Well, like, what are cooking?
[0:08:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, man. So, like, Bitcoin, you know, this is a really good opportunity this week for Bitcoin to set a higher low. You know, I've mentioned this before. Bitcoin broke out of the down trending structure by getting a trend break back in late September when it closed above $65,000. It then subsequently put in, like, a higher low right around $58.08, which is a big quarterly level. And then it raised all the way up to that 108,000. Right? And it put in a a swing high, and a closing high. And this is looking like this could be the next closing higher low to complete the weekly uptrend. And the expectation would be that price is gonna rise up to that $108,000 and above. I have, some targets above that are, I think, interesting. Above a 108, I am taking it about $2,000 at a time to a 108 to a 110, 110 to a 112. And then from there, it kinda jumps because volatility will increase as we kinda went into a little bit of a compression on the weekly... Or on the daily, where then I'm starting to look from a 112 to a hundred and fifth... 14 to 15, and then a 115 to a 120,000 with the ultimate goal of getting up to, you know, that 125 to a 130 being a very key level overhead. Not to get too geeky and mathed out, but it's... It would be about... That's the $14.14 or four one four. So it'd be 41.4% above the prior cycle all time high at $69,000. It's around a 128 to a 130. That's a very key level overhead. And this is gonna be a level that we wanna see Bitcoin get above and close above on a monthly time frame to really start to kick off the real expansive move to the upside. And if it doesn't, these areas will act as a level of volatility interest and, psychological and mathematical interest overhead for potential daily, weekly rejections or kinda caps on price that kinda get moved up over time and kinda walked up. And this is something that I've been cautioning people about, although I'm very bullish on 2025. I'm bullishly optimistic in quarter one, quarter two for alt season to start beginning. We're starting to see that show itself. And then... But, the quarter one to quarter two transition, you know, if we don't see movement in the policy side of things of Trump's agenda being implemented, I do think that there's significant risk for very large pullbacks. Otherwise, I think that we're gonna be looking at a... If that does not happen, policy's implemented and things are going well, we could be staring at a repeat of the 2016 into 2017 nonstop Trump pump, and that would bring us out to the end of 2025, otherwise known as the all pump. And but I'm still cautious. And I think that the first quarter of this year and the second quarter is gonna be something that we really have to keep a close eye on. And, of course, what better place than right here. Right? Other than that, Swarms is ripping 500,000,000, by the way. How much? 500,000,000. We were talking about it here.
[0:12:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: AlphaGamer brought that up. I remember.
[0:12:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I got in in a different spaces event. I had... I'm in a group chat for a different spaces event that's at... Late at night, and that was dropped in there at about 20,000,000. It ran to $50.60. I took a ton of profits, and and it it dumped all the way down to 6,000,000, and I bid the ever loving hell out of it. Alpha Gamer was there for that one. Then it sat around 20,000,000, and, many of us started to really bid hard on it, and then it just started to rip. And now, it just touched off 550,000,000, pulled back to about 430, and now it's back to 500,000,000 again. So big, big trades. Reminds me, you know, it wasn't quite the entries that I had on, like, Peanut, which I got in very, very good position on that. But these AI tokens are absolutely cooking everywhere you go. So there's opportunities that just keep presenting themselves. And, Dave, the AI ecosystem, like, in virtuals... And, cool, you know too. Right? How they're constructed with these other agents that make up some of the main agents, like, the different components. Right? Well, there's other types of AI agents that are also doing this in other ecosystems, and there is a lot of alpha to be derived if you go and you look at the main tokens and you look at their... Where they're tagged, and you can you can maybe find some of the early derivative tokens that are gonna be attached to those agents as, like, the the other components to those agents. I got a hot tip from Alpha Gamer earlier today that coin market coin market cap... Or CoinGecko might be the place to maybe do your research on those and try and find some gems.
[0:14:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Bro, I saw... For those that are wondering, right, it's virtuals and AI 16 z, right, that are, like, the one and two spots solid. I'd say virtual is easily on top of one, like, AI 16 z two. But then the three, four, five spots, have, like, these ecosystems that are, like, you know, a 100,000,000. And when you look at these other ones, like, we're talking, like, AI 16 z is at almost 3,000,000,000. Fucking virtual is at almost spot... Is creeping on four and a half, 5,000,000,000. So there was a lot cooking. Landy, that's really, really good insight, bro, because I was generally good at today. I think the one in... I don't know if you have the names, but I think one in the three spot was VVAIFUN. Right? Mhmm. Right? That... I think that was one of them that were, like, 163, 165,000,000, like, roughly. But, yeah, you're right, man. Like, there's so many different plays. So, like, wait. Where on CoinGecko are you actually, like, looking? You know what's crazy? I went to go... Like, even with a graduated agent, the... Like, I went to go apply to... So that Junior can get on CoinGecko. They rejected us, bro. They were just like, you don't have enough volume. I was like, what kind of shares it? This half... Was $500,000, like, the other day.
[0:15:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. They... They're they're sticklers about that unless you have an in. You gotta have, like, significant amounts of volume and history before they'll actually list it. They're... And you know what? To be quite honest, for CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko for how they kinda would just spam list any any old shitter, I don't blame them for kind of doing that. But there's also that whole, if you know somebody, they'll pull a few strings kinda thing just like anywhere else.
[0:15:37] Kool @koolcryptovc: We know anybody?
[0:15:41] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. How much volume do they do do they require to to to list the...
[0:15:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's the thing. I don't know, Kool. They didn't even tell us, like, you need this.
[0:15:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: They they just kinda give you a nebulous answer, which is kinda shitty. But what I will tell you, Dave, is that if you go and you look at, like, some of these main agents that are popping off on CoinGecko, and you click on the agents and you can go and see on the left hand side under info what they're tagged as, like, you know, Bitcoin agent, this agent, that agent, all these different categories, you'll see that a lot of them are like, well, if... Okay. If it's, like, if it's just an AI agent and you click that tag, you're gonna see just about every AI agent that's in all of the different ecosystems. But then there's other subcategories. And if you go through some of those other subcategories, you'll get truncated lists of agents that do different things related to those coins. And that was the alpha the alpha gamer put me on. And it's funny because he had mentioned in a post one of the plays, and then he told me how he found it. And I was like, you know, what's funny is I got into that play because of his post. Because I saw his post earlier today, and I was like, oh, shit. Slamming in some buys here. Alright. I'll go research later because he's on the the same wavelength with me and how I do my research with that stuff. So there's a lot of... It's kinda like in the virtual's ecosystem. You do have to do some research to find out what plugs into what. Right? Like, this agent utilizes these other agents to make it one cohesive thing. Right? Or these are the other component agents that feed into the main one, like Cortex and so on and so forth. So if you can find those plays and they're not already pumped all the way to the freaking moon or maybe they're in a correction, they might be worth looking at to potentially bid on. Again, be very, very careful. I'm gonna give everybody here, including, like, Dave and anybody who's into the AI sector, be very careful of all of these. Hey. We're part of the hackathon, and we're building an AI agent. Scammers. Motherfucking scammers. Excuse my language. There's so many of them, and they're ripping people off because what they'll do is they'll even prop up, oh, we're building clusters. Oh, cluster's one of them. Cluster's on Solana. They're building this ecosystem. And look. We have a website with all of our uwu, y... Waifu freaking agents that are gonna be doctors, and it's the medical sector, and they're gonna... Don't you want one for your brain and one for this? And look, we're part of the hackathon. Nebulous word just hackathon thrown on there, and then they launched their main their main coin, and it rips. Luckily, I'm in a group where one of the other guys was like, I don't like this, and pulled out of it. And I was like, yeah. I'm gonna pull out my initials. I'll just let the rest ride. And, of course, it tanked nothing. Why? Because they launched their main coin clusters, and then they launched a whole bunch of sub coins on PumpFun, like like, for one for each agent. Right? And then their ecosystem token. So they looked like they were gonna build this out, and then they go, oh, people don't like that we did this. Maybe we should just have the main token. And then they launched clusters again and rubbed the first token and said, why don't we go over to this one now? Oops. Meanwhile, they had been stealing the liquidity off of all of the derivative tokens that they launched plus the main token and then use that to launch this other token and pump it through the bonding curve and then say, no. Look. We relaunched. Look. No. No. No. We're a safe project hackathon. Didn't you see our keyword hackathon? Like, fuck off. I went and I played around with their with their agents. Right? It's just Eliza. There's nothing special about any of these things. They're just utilizing Eliza, and they probably got the free version. So they're just piping that in. They created this website probably with AI and then prop this thing up, and then all of a sudden, they're just out there farming liquidity. So be very, very careful with some of these plays. Do your research. Don't fall for the whole hackathon thing. If they are part of a hackathon, they'll link you to which hackathon, and you can see where they're entered.
[0:19:57] Kool @koolcryptovc: So we... We've we've we've been in before. We've been in before. This is what we experienced with our DeFi one point o. We experienced with NFTs. We experienced with MemeCoins at the beginning. This is Deja Vu. It just... In a in a different dress. Right? You you don't... I I would say you should definitely buy, enjoy the the the wins, enjoy the madness, but we... The music stops some... Sometime, but we don't know when. That's why we just keep playing until it does. But this is deja vu. No joke, man, because same thing happened with the d five one point o. The yam coin sushi or sushi swap, and and and yummy yams and tomato coin. Yo. This is days out, and that's why I'm I'm playing for sure. But I'm playing smarter this time because what I've done this time around is I have a lot of stable coins ready. In addition to me still being active in crypto too, playing on AI stuff on different chains, no problem. But I am very, very careful Just like Landy said, don't keep playing, but just know the music stops sometime. I don't know when it's gonna happen, but there's money to be made here. We just keep we just keep playing.
[0:21:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. And for those of you that like to d gen on Solana, and you see a token that's launched, go and look at the dev toe... The dev that launched launched it. You can go to the token, and you can look under the holders. You can look under who deployed and all that stuff. Right? So on sole scan. And then go and look at how many other tokens they've launched, please. That is, like, the bare minimum amount of research. Don't just ape anything... Ape ape into things because Solana is now starting to catch fire with a lot of the AI stuff. That meta is there. There's people paying for deck screener ads and all kinds of shit. So just be careful. There's other more advanced tools. I suggest that you seek them out, you know, for for analyzing or just go go use Photon or something and just do your research, understand what it is that you're getting into, understand that if you're seeing, you know, any kind of fishy stuff and and and that something doesn't feel right, it's probably not right. It's probably running up, and it's probably looking for exit liquidity from from for... Wallet farming, the the coin. Okay? So just... One of the big things is is that's why some people wait until, like, things break a million dollar market cap and then see what what happens on the pullbacks. How many how many holders does it get? What does the wallet distribution look like? What does the transfer between those wallets on the token look like? And, you know, what is the dev doing? If the dev's still active in holding supply, are they burning it? Are they locking it? What are they doing with their stuff? So those are just kind of the bare minimums. And the AI narrative, I think, hasn't even gotten close to peak yet. That's me, personally. I think it does need a little bit of a cool down, and I'd like to see a cool down. But that's because I'm a little greedy, I wanna make more profits. But I think that this is gonna continue to rip in terms of AI stuff, and every single token's gonna try to do some kinda AI play. So don't fall for the fake AI stuff. Look for the real stuff. And then cool thing about the virtuals platform is it's specifically set up to show you what is agentic AI and what's what's still waiting to get implementation and stuff like that. One of the main reasons why I really like it because it's easy to understand if something is real and if it's not in that ecosystem. And a lot of these other ecosystems, they haven't been set up with that kind of a purpose in the first place, whereas virtuals was. And I sound like I'm just shilling virtuals, so I guess I am. I'm just up here as a virtual shill, apparently.
[0:23:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: On my back, bro. On my back.
[0:24:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: Right? But it's true. I mean, they're they're purpose built in this way to support AI tokens. So there is... It's been well thought out. And then... And when you start to go and look around at other ecosystems, you understand how well thought out this was. So... And, obviously, everything you buy there isn't gonna pump to the moon or Valhalla or whatever. Right? Be careful when you're looking at how much total value is locked versus the market cap in something. If it gets out too too far over its skis in terms of how many multiples away from its total value locked it is, understand that even if you got $10,000,000 in this thing, it's gonna be very hard to exit without absolutely nuking your own bags along the along the way. Right? So there's a little bit of learning... Of a learning curve that people are going through in some of this as well. So... But, yeah, over to you guys.
[0:24:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, cool. Landy, I need y'all to cover for a few. I think we've literally got the seed phrase.
[0:25:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay.
[0:25:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: I just need literally, like, literally ten... Like, maybe ten, fifteen minutes. But, if y'all wanna cover some of the stories, I know that Vitalik sold a bunch of meme coins today for, like, 2.5 mil. There's a bunch of other, like, new stories on the timeline, but I need y'all to cover for, like, ten, fifteen minutes. This this could be big.
[0:25:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Cool. What do you got, brother?
[0:25:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: I am in the grocery store shop buying some avocados and salad.
[0:25:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: No worries, brother. So lady doesn't really keep up with the news, but I
[0:25:33] Kool @koolcryptovc: can keep
[0:25:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: up with the markets.
[0:25:35] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Okay. Maybe maybe what we could do, I I I do have some news, but I... My hands are kinda full. I could talk. So if you wanna give us... If you could tell us what do you think... Okay. So how long do you do you believe this AI run will continue? We we did see NVIDIA flip. NVIDIA is the number one AI company in the world. They did flip Apple as the second largest company in, I think, in The US, I think. So which means AI narratives just keep going. But what what what... Where do you think or how long do you think that this stuff lasts for? That's... That that... That's my question for you.
[0:26:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, the hardest runners will have... Because there's such high volatility, like NVIDIA, when the market does pull back, you're gonna see that the the... At least in the in the lower term time frames relative to things like monthly and weekly, will pull back in a much more violent way. And that's something that you really have to pay attention to because it is narrative driven, and there are only so many products out there, right, that are utilizing the NVIDIA technology. This is a speculative bet on this continuing to grow at Infinium. Right? And the... While I do believe that this sector is only going to continue to grow, The moment that it that it shows any signs of weakness, you're gonna see very large corrections because it has been so volatile to the upside in terms of price returns or or or, well, yeah, it's in terms of returns. And this is where you just have to... It's not about timing the market. It's about making sure that you're taking profits in the market when things are really good, and we're seeing things just continue to beat. And don't get upset when it continues to run. Don't start doing the math in your head as if you would held your initial size. Right? That's the danger that a lot of... That's that's a real, really bad place to be in when you're especially deep in profits. You know, I just had a conversation with a good friend of mine who is fairly early on in their trading journey, and they they took a thousand dollars and turned it into 30. And they don't wanna take profit because they feel like if they can keep making more, they'll turn it into 60 and then, you know, a 100 or, you know, whatever. And if they take profit here and it goes to this number, then they're actually, you know, taking double off of what they would have got. So if they pull profit... If they pull $5,000 in profit and the market cap doubles, then I... It's really like taking $10,000 profit when I could have taken five... I could have got 5,000 more. And that is such a speculative bet, and that's how people round trip. And that's how they do it in the stock market. That's how it's done in crypto. So make sure that you are paying yourself along the way. There's always going to be opportunity that will present itself, whether it's in the same stock or the same token. If it's still a good play and you think it's still gonna go to those levels and you took profit and it pulls back, you can reinvest if it looks good to you. Right? And... But you just gotta make sure you're you're paying yourself. As for how long this stuff goes, man, we're we're we're coming into the Trump era. Anything can happen. And if they deliver on the campaign promises, I don't think... The only thing that's gonna throw monkey wrenches into this is the resistance to passing the agenda. Right? And those are only gonna be short term resistances if he's successful. So those are gonna be the periods in time where I'm gonna be looking for opportunity. As soon as, like, Democrats try to stonewall a piece of his agenda and the market starts to fall apart because it gets shaky feet, And, he might have to compromise and, oh, there's... Now they're negotiating, and it might not look like it was supposed to look when he pitched it. And as that process starts to happen, I'm gonna be there taking advantage of any kind of pullbacks in those process... In those processes. Because I am, me personally, maybe naively confident that he will be able to get some of the things done that I wanna see done. So I'm I'm planning accordingly with my portfolio.
[0:30:03] Kool @koolcryptovc: And what do you what do you what do you think about... You know, right now, you know, I do know not a lot of retail have a lot of liquidity, a lot of money to to join the market. The market is driven by big... By by big money bags right now for now. So I heard the XRP, you know, founder, I think, Gallenhaus or the older dude, when he said that the... He was like, oh, the Trump pump hasn't started yet. You're talking about this is a a... One of the founders of a a big project in in crypto. He's saying that Trump pump hasn't started yet. We we have four years, basically, Trump being in office. Right? So what do you... So it's it's just so weird for me. We... We've been... This market now is very different than we've ever had, and that's why I... I'm... I... Because I'm not sure. That's why I'm kinda playing it both ways, having liquidity on the side. More done, and still be active in the market. But... You're... He... What what...
[0:31:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Yeah. I have an answer for you. And it's it's it's maybe... I don't feel as though this market is any different. Not yet. Because we need to see implementation. What this... And the and the only way that this market is different is in that the market is enthusiastic based on what could be. Right? If... Let's say he face plants on his entire agenda. Right? Like, and it just gets stonewalled all the hell and nothing moves. No crypto legislation or clarity. No no accumulation bill. No tax breaks, no bring bring, bring, business to America that that supports this particular space to be the number one leader in the world in Bitcoin mining and crypto business, and and the tax expediency for for usbasedcom... If none of that comes to fruition, that's your worst case scenario. Right? But the market doesn't feel that way. None of this has happened. Right? None of these things... None of his agenda is implemented yet. The core pieces of what he described as he wanted for his teams to start building this stuff is starting to coalesce, and we see the sides starting to form around who's gonna try to get things done in congress to push forward that agenda, but none of it's happened yet. So we're not really in any kind of a different market. And this is where, you know, if you look at the prior cycle even, 2020, every... I've been getting a lot of questions. Like, why are alts doing what they did last cycle? I'm like, are you kidding me? Hold on a second. Step back. Look at the time frame. In 2020, Bitcoin broke its all time high of $20,000 in November into December. It pumped through into January. Right? It continued up in January, but then that's when you saw alts starting to run. You saw Ethereum hadn't made a new all time high yet. Many alts didn't. And then all of a sudden in quarter one into quarter two, alt season hit. You got Ethereum making a new all time high leading the way, all kinds of different shitcoins running, and everything started to make all time highs and just ripped to the upside Well, Bitcoin started to pause February into, guess what, March. What happened in March? Well, we saw the big topping. We saw that, Bitcoin was starting to paint a bit... Little bit of a different structure for distribution. And then March, April into May, it fell and went into reaccumulation throughout the spring and the summer and then pumped up towards the last part of the year. So we need to be cognizant that we're in that same liquidity cycle. The difference is the Trump factor. That is the thing that we are front running at this moment that we need to see implemented in order for us to see that real change that we're looking for that you're talking about. Right? Then it is different because then we have actionable accumulation of Bitcoin. Now where things are a little bit different is that we have major players with spot ETFs that might be able to support the fall, right, if there was some sort of a fall in the markets. That... There's your entries for all your retail, by the way. They... When you have... And then all of a sudden, regulatory clarity comes through, and now it's in everybody's pensions and all kinds of, you know, funds for them, and they don't even know they're invested in it. It's it's just been allocated as part of their portfolio. Right? We're seeing this happen already slowly, but you would see hyper adoption at that point. And I think that's where we do enter that new age. It's just not actionable yet, in my opinion.
[0:34:46] Kool @koolcryptovc: Man, no. So I I do I do agree with you. Right? I think... Definitely, that makes sense. But I I don't see any reason why things don't get passed in this four years in power. I I don't... You know, there... There's still... There... There's gonna be rules of, okay, what's a security, what's not
[0:35:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: a security.
[0:35:08] Kool @koolcryptovc: The stablecoin bills are probably gonna come out trying to get past. So a lot of stuff needs needs to still happen, which I don't think it... I I... You know, because the the environment is prime for a lot of crypto friendly rules and regs to get passed in this Trump's presidency four years. Right? So that's kinda where I'm looking at stuff where, you know, looking at some... If I if I if I have to if I if I have to, you know, put put my voice on it, I'll say, anyone in this market right now, in this space right now, you have basically the next four years to make life changing money. And I I don't know. Like, you know, they're saying all crap cycle. I don't know. But you hear all kinds of all kinds of stuff now where they're saying the four the four the four year cycle was no more. Right? Who who knows? Like, we've we've we've never had this kind of buyers on on this buying pressure constantly on on on Bitcoin. Right? So... But it's it's just fascinating to see how things play out, and that's the reason why I'm, like, I'm playing it safe in a way in in a way where I'm still active on chain for sure, but I'm also... I also have cash on the side. But it's it's a beautiful market to be right now in my opinion just because I know... I'm seeing what's happening from my own view, which is I I look at that whole Coinbase tracker app and all that stuff. While Bitcoin is above a 100,000, the Coinbase app is 200 ranking, which means a lot of retail are not really here yet even though the numbers just are pretty high. And the volumes are holding steady, but I I think I think the best way to play, though, is just be active, trade if you if you need to, do AI stuff if you have to, but just don't sit on your wins. If you are up massively, it's the same thing as as Landy said. If you're up massively on on on on a token, it's not... It's it's unadvisable to just hold it because we don't really know where where the market is going. And plus, I'm here... I'm... Landy, have you have you heard heard of this? You know, I I listen to a lot of stuff outside. I don't watch the news just on YouTube and hearing all these ex CIA agents talking. They're talking about how there's, like, over 1,000 terrorists in The US now and all kinds of crazy stuff. There's attacks that come in, and I'm like, if there's anything that stops crypto from running, it's some kind of terrorist attack. Of course, that that doesn't... That's not guaranteed. Right? Who knows? Right? But I just believe people should be cautious the same thing that, you know, as as as I'm doing have cash on the side. And at the same time, you're you're basically in crypto like a madman. You're doing everything. Edge route farming. You're trading. You're doing NFTs. You're doing everything you can because we don't know how long this goes. Who knows? Right? But... So what what do what do you think about that, Rob? About, like, the... All the... You know, I I I... And I also heard about the the outgoing power. They've they've done such a mess that they'll do they'll do everything they can can to make sure the economy tanks while Trump is in power. What do you what do you what do you want?
[0:38:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's that's the thing is I do think that they're gonna try to roadblock him at every turn. I don't think they're gonna be successful, though. That is... You know, remains to be seen, obviously. Jury's out on that one. But to to to your point about some of the things, you know, obviously, we've had the incident in New Orleans over New Year's, and then, of course, there was the very suspicious bombing using the Tesla in front of the Trump hotel in Vegas. Right? And, you know, I I don't think that these things, unless there is a mass casualty event nine eleven style, even then, for those that were around at that time, that wasn't what caused markets to fall. There was other fundamental reasons. It's... The timing was very suspicious. Let's put it that way. The market was almost front running, something happening, which is that... Let's let's not go down that road. I don't wanna get canceled. But,
[0:39:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: look.
[0:39:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean, honestly, if there's some kind of terrorist attack or something like that or a bombing or... You you see what happens. I mean, look at the Luigi Mangione thing. He he he gets in the media, and immediately, there's tokens freaking running over a million dollars off pump line and all these other chains. Right? So, I mean, the the meme economy will take root in a lot of those things if there are horrible, awful events. That's, I think, a bit of a coping mechanism for the public and then also an opportunity for, you know, unscrupulous individuals to get in there and make a lot of money. Right? And, I don't care about the morality of it. I just... You know, that's just kind of the way things go in in these markets. What I'm more looking at is, I'm really focused on the implementation of the agenda because that's the linchpin to all of this, specifically on the crypto side of things. But we also have to be cognizant of the liquidity cycle and markets. We know that, you know, that rates are going to be coming down despite what Powell says. Trump will likely do the same thing he did last time and take the Fed under the purview of the treasury and just start being, being the new Fed head. Right? Like, you know, what they... Exactly what they accused him of was exactly essentially what he was doing the last time in 2018 and what led to that bottom forming in 2018 and in 2019. And, you know, it's... It would be... It... It's gonna be an environment where I think that if the real economy gets better, you're gonna see retail start to ape back in. Right? So if energy costs come down, for instance, his energy agenda, if he can implement that, which he can do via executive order, he doesn't need congress for a lot of that. And that's gonna put real money back into people's pockets. And I think a lot of that extra money that's coming back to people will end up in these markets. In in terms of percentage, you could maybe give, like, a soft 15% on it because so many people are aware of what's going on in crypto and now becoming more aware of what he would like to do regarding things like Bitcoin, right, and and strengthening the crypto economy even though it's one smaller piece of a very large agenda that he has. I think that this is where you'll start to see as those pieces start to move, they'll hit the news. And if energy costs are coming down and the real economy is starting to loosen up for those regular everyday people, you start to see some of that retail coming back in in a much bigger way. Any kind of regulatory clarity. And look. There's executive orders where he can, you know, stop gap this stuff until it's passed through congress. So there is tools at his disposal. It's just a matter of how much of a fight are they gonna put up at every step of the way with his agenda, or are they gonna lay down and try to hatch other insidious plans to to stop his agenda? And what does that look like? And right now, the market looks good. It looks very good. Looks a little overheated in spots here and there. Good for corrections and pullbacks. You know, we just had a nice correction on Bitcoin, a nice little accumulation. Now let's push it back to, you know, over a $100,000. Now it's a matter of is it gonna break out and initiate that run to the upside? And the area to pay attention to that's gonna be the invalidation is any kind of closes back below $92,000 now. Right? Anywhere below there and especially 90,000, we're probably looking at things resolving a little bit further to the downside and get some more liquidity. Right? And that's likely gonna be what the market thinks of, you know, what's happening in that administration. And I will say if it continues to run, obviously, watch out for January 20, right, for inauguration day, and keep a close eye on the markets for that quote, unquote sell the news when, honestly, the buying opportunity, if this closes anywhere here or higher this week above a $100,000, we're setting a higher low, things are likely gonna move up anyway. So it's just a matter of, you know, don't try to time it, but just pay close attention to what's going on in the market and hunt opportunity. And, of course, not financial advice. Do your own research.
[0:43:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: Alright. So just real quick, man. You you saw news with Justin Justin Trudeau. What what do what do you think about the whole the whole thing in Canada with him resigning this post today?
[0:44:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: I I actually didn't see it, so I'm not really sure exactly what happened. So did he actually resign?
[0:44:16] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I think he he announced he was gonna step down. I think... I'm not sure exactly when, but he he he did announce that today. Yeah.
[0:44:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, I mean, just like anything else, he doesn't wanna become governor Trudeau. Right? Doesn't wanna become governor of the fifty first state. I wonder what...
[0:44:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: Is is that is that... You know, look. I I don't know too much about this, though, but I don't... Is that is that the thing, though, is is that even possible for the police to make...
[0:44:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Is that possible? Of course. Anything is possible with Trump in office. I mean, that guy's... He's legitimately going after Greenland right now. Right? So is it possible? I... They would have to have, you know, referee... They... They'd have to take votes there and obviously see if they wanted to...
[0:45:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, we we we...
[0:45:02] Kool @koolcryptovc: He he put a tweet out today, man, about that on on on to social about, you know, about Canada being being the the first state. I'm like...
[0:45:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. What? He's being serious. He's not just trolling them. He's 100% serious. Like, that is something that I guarantee you. He... The funny part is he floated this a long time ago. Like, back in the nineties, he floated, like, why doesn't Canada just become a part of The United States? Like, what are they doing? Like, they they would have access to our military, access to our economic power around the world, and, like, all this other stuff. So I think he's being serious. How realistic is it? Oh, I have no idea. I have no idea how realistic.
[0:45:43] Kool @koolcryptovc: Let me give Mike to Alex. Maybe maybe maybe maybe she knows what's up with the... With this crazy Trump in in Canada vibe. Go ahead, Alex. Go ahead.
[0:45:51] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Hey, guys. Okay. So fun convo as always. Here's the deal with the Trudeau thing. So so it started because his closest ally... He and his closest ally disagreed on how to deal with the tariffs that were coming with Trump. And and she did not agree with the way he wanted to deal with it. He requested more money in order to... Like, he wanted more spending in order to address potential future tariffs. She was adamant about that. She wanted to address the threat that was coming and immediately resigned when he requested additional funding. That set off a whole chain of events resulting in this. So he has submitted his resignation pending finding a new labor leader. So he's still in office until they find someone else because they can't be, like... You know, have no prime minister, but that's what's happening right now. And and it's a massive change right now. Right? This is huge. And and they're... They have to have this thing that's called proroguing, which is, like, I guess, a no confidence vote and putting in someone else in. I'm not Canadian. All this stuff is strange to me, but this is the way it works. And, and that's, you know, that's the way it rolls. The Greenland thing is not legitimate. Denmark cannot sell Greenland. Greenland is not for sale. That whole thing is somebody is making that up from some old news that happened a few years ago. That's not legitimate and not happening. So I don't know who's doing that. That's a troll. That's gotta be a troll thing. And Alex. He knows that he's not doing that.
[0:47:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: On on the Greenland thing, didn't they just vote for... Or didn't they just say that they were gonna try to vote for independence from Denmark just last week?
[0:48:04] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: They've been working on that. They wanna be independent. That's been a long term thing, and Denmark is for that. Denmark wants to be independent. Yeah. So if they do Greenland wants to be independent. That's that's a long term thing.
[0:48:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: So if they do that, you know, Trump is being serious about buying Greenland is is, I think, the the point that is that is out there. He's not joking about that.
[0:48:29] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: That makes me sad.
[0:48:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, I mean, Greenland is a is a strategic win for The United States, which is something that, you know, Trump floated in his last administration. Right? So, you know, realistically, I see... I can see a potential pathway because there's a lot of arm twisting that goes on. And if they do gain their independence, I could absolutely see Trump strong arming his way in there and maybe even building a giant Trump tower there too even though that was kind of a troll.
[0:49:03] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. I mean, here... For that, I would say here's what would likely happen. If that happened, that would be an act of war if he tried to strong-arm an independent nation. Right? So so, really, what would have to happen would be, like, a treaty. So I think what Greenland would be thinking is if they become independent and the US wants to negotiate with them, they don't negotiate with Denmark. Because right now, any negotiation would have to happen with Denmark on behalf of Greenland. And, technically, anything would be given de facto in part to Denmark for Greenland. Right? So if they become independent, which has been something that, again, Denmark isn't fighting. They don't care. The... Then they can make their own negotiations and make their own deals. Yeah. Even though they don't have a huge amount of diplomatic experience. So, you know, questionable how how good the deals are gonna be. But, theoretically, right, this is so that they can actually make their own deals, not so that they can be purchased by The US. That's not something that's, like, on the table from Greenland's side. They're not selling themselves.
[0:50:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: But here's the thing. These these things change with the wind, and you... I could very easily see this changing with the wind after they gain independence. And, you know, it's just a more realistic path than not when comparing the Canada as a fifty first state is kind of my point regarding that. You know, it's it's... My my question is, realistically, do you think Trudeau is going to escape to his home country of Cuba?
[0:50:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Sorry. I had to. I... Sorry, Canadians. I had to. Castro Junior is... It's absolutely 100% on my radar. Cool. What do you think, buddy?
[0:51:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Think that's kinda funny, man. I I I I I don't know. We'll we'll see what happens. Like, I think it's it's... We live in interesting times, man. We... A lot's going on. A lot of people are resigning before Trump takes office. I... Like I said, we have, well, sixteen days left before he gets in, and we... I don't know. We'll see. We'll see, man. Four years of Trump. We'll see. I think he's good for the markets. The the market's spoken. Crypto markets has been on the run ever since he officially won won whatever, but I'm looking forward to to to the next four years, man. We'll see what happens, though.
[0:51:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: If if nothing else, whether you support him or not, it's gonna be interesting. I mean, that's for sure.
[0:51:58] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: It's gonna be another one of these twenty four hour constant news cycles. Yeah.
[0:52:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean, they gotta make all their money back. You think about how much of a hit the news cycle took over the past four years. As soon as they put Trump on there, their ratings go up. So this is gonna be nonstop barrage. So
[0:52:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But but see... But he...
[0:52:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: He's he's he's not on Twitter like like he was the the first time. I don't know. Do you think he will come back on Twitter, or or he might just stay on on on on through social?
[0:52:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, he's been posting his memes and stuff to to When...
[0:52:28] Kool @koolcryptovc: Not much, though. As... Last time, he was he was a a power user on on Twitter, man, last time.
[0:52:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, yeah. I mean, he was the the tweeter in chief. And I I don't I don't know if he's even gonna do that because he's not even as active on Truth Social as he was on Twitter back in the day. I think, you know, priorities are changing. I think he feels like he accomplished what he needed to accomplish with the platforms, and now it's about maintaining or maintenance. So one of the one of the really interesting things is gonna see how the news tries to take advantage of a Trump presidency to fight for the relevancy because no one trusts the mainstream media on the left or the right anymore. That's why x has become such a giant platform since opening up the free speech. I know we hear the extremes on the right and the left, you know, crying about x. But in general, there's entire communities that aren't sourced to me because I'm not on the left, but there's tons and tons of people chattering over there constantly. I mean, you see them in every single... They see them rating every single community notes thread anyway from the right. So, you know, they have a very large presence. It is a big town square. I think that you're gonna see a lot of politicians utilizing this platform in the way that, they'll put the news out here first before even talking to anybody from the mainstream media. They're kind of already indicating... Some of these incoming congresspeople are already indicating that that's what they're gonna do. You know, that helps bolster their brand, which can help them get reelected and, like, all this other stuff too. So I think that we're gonna see a big uptick in social media influence. I wanted to pick both your brains about the news regarding the FDIC basically putting out a memo in 2022 and 2023. It's been revealed that they put out a memo to basically say, don't get involved with servicing any cryptocurrency or creating any cryptocurrency products. So we don't want you servicing that, system. And if you're familiar with the Chevron deference ruling, this was essentially the FDIC making it up on the fly, making their own rules on the fly, and trying to apply pressure to the banking system in 2022 and 2023 to not support cryptocurrencies or come up with cryptocurrency based products. And and even... I I believe this this probably extends much further than that. Also, remember, we had the banking systems that were failing around that time as well for s p... SVB, and then was it SBNY? And then we got the the the bank term funding program, which was a soft bailout. What are your thoughts on this? Because considering the ruling on the Chevron deference since then, we're probably gonna see a lot of this fall away. Would you suspect?
[0:55:44] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I'll I'll take this for a bit. I'll I'll care. I'll give Mike to Alex. He probably has a lot more deep thoughts about this one. Yeah. So the FDIC, they did... They they they were part of the choke point two point o against crypto. It was it was an agenda to to kill our industry. And Mhmm. Thankfully thankfully thankfully, you know, Trump won. Because I think if Trump didn't win, yeah, we we would have on the four years of just lawsuits, man. I think now that the veil has has been lifted from the... All this corrupt... Corruption that happened last year or the past four years, you know, I I know that a lawsuit's coming. A definite lawsuit. Maybe they might drop it. I know Coinbase, got the documents. They might sue the the the the the FDIC for this because it's a crime. It's it's a actual crime. You can't you can't you can't do this. It's a freaking crime. But it it was allowed to happen under, the Biden Harris administration. I think what's not gonna happen now is maybe the man just dropped the lawsuits and the the the... There's gonna be a new people in power on on the FDIC and allowing banks to custody crypto now. They allow banks to hold because now a lot... Now if companies wanna... If banks want want to be in crypto, that's gonna go behind closed doors anyway. But I think, officially, banks might be able to cost the crypto now, hold it on the balance sheet and for for their clients, which was impossible before. But I... It's it's gonna be interesting to see how how... What happens, but I'm sure heads are gonna roll from this because they they they fought and fought to to prevent Coinbase from getting this documents, but they unsealed everything. So it's gonna be crazy. So let me give the mic to Alex, man, if you have a much much better thought about this. Go ahead.
[0:57:45] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Hey. So I just put, I think, at the top, like, a... Oh, I think I just took a picture of the article. I can put a link to it. That's one of the articles about it. It's for those who aren't familiar about this memo thing. Here. Let me let me link to it here. The... And I always forget the rules where you're not supposed to link or you're supposed to link or whatever. I don't even know. But he...
[0:58:11] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, for engagement? Yeah.
[0:58:13] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I don't I don't know. Like, my...... To. My engagement's garbage anyway, so it doesn't really... Like, I don't know what I'm supposed to do, but whatever it is, don't do whatever I'm doing because my engagement is apparently terrible. Yeah. Same here. Don't follow
[0:58:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: my engagement rules. I get no engagement.
[0:58:29] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I get no engagement. I don't get... Know, like, I'm like... I I was actually talking to a group of, like, I mean, this, like, space group or whatever and... Like, a a host. And and I was like, apparently, all you're supposed to do is not educate people because that apparently is the lowest level of of engagement. Like, if you do anything...
[0:58:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm I'm gonna be converting to a meme only account from here on out.
[0:58:51] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I I believe that's actually the best possible thing is I really should be... And it's not even it's not even that I should be reposting memes. That is what I should be doing in order to maximize engagement.
[0:59:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: So Yep.
[0:59:03] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: We are we are failing. Mandy, we're
[0:59:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: we're failing. Yep. So Yeah. And I'll always have a good... Always have a GM post with some sort of food or coffee
[0:59:12] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: And a cat.
[0:59:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: And, like, maybe a, yeah, a cat, maybe, like, half a picture of your face with just one eye Exactly. Illuminati style. Yeah.
[0:59:20] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: And and I don't have... Or fight or maybe, like, like, some people fighting. So so in the future, I could have drunk people fighting and a cat somewhere along in my timeline. And so I'm I'm definitely
[0:59:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yep.
[0:59:32] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Definitely educating too much. So I gotta reduce that. So I've definitely not gotten the hang of this. But until then, I put the link up, which probably, you know, my tweet cred probably just reduced, like, 500 points or whatever.
[0:59:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Know what I You're now at 38 out of a 100 on yours... On your ex socials credit score. You do that to everybody else. So funny. Yeah. Everybody got the same score. It's like
[0:59:57] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: a quiz.
[1:00:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's what drives you
[1:00:02] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: to everybody. That's so funny.
[1:00:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yep. Okay. You're all 30 eights.
[1:00:05] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: We're all 30 eights. It's like it's like, man, good for you for trying. It's so funny. Basically. Oh my god. Okay. So for for this for this thing, here's the deal with the banks. And for those of you who don't know, I hate banks and, for many, many reasons. But here's another one. You know, they they did this crap, which is, this this behind the back garbage crap, which is essentially don't, don't stop. Like, don't go in front... Like, don't publicly stop working with, crypto, which would be something that we could protest. Right? If they said we don't work with crypto, we could then say, okay. We're going to circumvent banks, which, by the way, we do have a way to do, which is a separate thing, that I would like to build. But, we we can circumvent banks, But they would deem it illegal unless there was of... An official statement that said, banks don't wanna work with you. Instead, what they say is, banks don't tell them that we don't wanna work with you, but don't work with anybody that has crypto. And what they... What banks have is essentially a list of things that fall under, and this is what kills me, a morals clause. Right? So they have a list of things, and the banks make them up. And, they get to make up things that are activities for which they won't do business. This is hysterical. This is like what in the film industry, they used to have this thing called the Hays Act, which was all these things that you couldn't show, like, a pregnant woman or a belly button or or two adults in bed together, not doing anything, just literally lying in bed together. Meanwhile, they're going out and raping and pillaging each other, like like, you know, mad and killing each other and whatever. But they're like, no. No. Not on film because we don't do that kind of stuff. So, literally, the list is basically, like, you can't have... We can't take money from people who do sex trafficking or pornography or child porn or crypto. That's like the list for most banks, which... I mean, that's... Those are all equal to them. Right? That's that's what that's what they say are all equal. And and I have I have a lot of issues with them and have gone into discussions with bankers, talking about that list saying, really, you you think someone, you know, showing her boobs for money, like, a consenting adult showing her boobs is the same thing as, as child sex trafficking. That's equal to you. Where I'm sure that, you know, you're basically... You know, like, how is Epstein's Island for you? And this is what you do with your job. Whatever. Okay. Alright. But but I'm just saying that they're hypocritical bastards, and this is what they do. But there's a list of things that they won't, do business with. That list, though, is generally not made public. The list is also independent to banks. And this is a... This was a memo that went from the FDIC that regulates banks saying add crypto to that list, which is something that is kind of shocking. Right? Because it's a way to discriminate against an industry without saying, I need you to not work with this industry, but saying it may... Make it your decision to not work again with this industry. So it's a very backhanded way in a way that is much more difficult to fight in court. It's also a way that's much more difficult for, the... What does that actually do? What's the outcome of that? Is that people who are in crypto, right, have a very difficult time building on and off ramps into crypto. Right? That is what the the purpose of of banks right now is that banks provide the on and off ramp, which, by the way, they don't need to do. We actually can build those separately. But in '22 and '23, particularly, and before that, it was still this kind of method of doing business that you need a bank, and the banks handled the KYC AML. And that is how that that... How all of the crypto basically offloaded a lot of the requirements to stay compliant. So the bank saying, we're not gonna work with you crypto was basically saying, how do we get fiat into the crypto system? Right? That's what it would... They were saying is that we can't get now fiat into the crypto system. And that that then works to devalue all of crypto. That's what they were trying to do. That is a huge problem, obviously.
[1:05:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. So Landy story time for a moment. Landy has personal experiences with this. So I I was a cofounder of a financial firm, otherwise known as a prop shop, and we had started... I started to build an OTC desk for Bitcoin and Ethereum. And around this time, I also was operating a separate business in which we were taking crypto as payments. And, all of a sudden, one day, I went in to, do some business with, one Bank of America and found out that all of my accounts have been, closed and that I was just going to be receiving checks. And I still had more accounts with them in which they were going to be closing, and I had twenty four hours to remove or lose anything that was not FDIC insured. This is... This was such an insane situation that we did try to go to court after the fact because there were certain types of funds and things that needed approvals from managers high up that weren't weren't at the branch level. And, of course, what did they do? They slow walk everything so that you're over the time period and over the threshold, and then they investigated us. Not only did the bank investigate us, but they had the FBI investigate us in our business. So after the FBI came through, we had the IRS up our ass. Meanwhile, I have a working relationship with this same banking institution at our OTC desk that I was building for the firm. And this was the most bizarre situation at that time. We did end up getting it solved. This was actually prior to the time period that this particular memo outlines, but it was hell. It was absolute hell. When you have all of your business assets... Personal business assets essentially frozen and then you get investigated repeatedly, it becomes a big old pain in the butt. And I'd... I'm... I wanna shout out anybody that was in The United States building some sort of crypto focused business at the time. Because if you were successful and you were able to stick it out, thank you, because I had to actually wrap that up and close it down. Because lawyers are expensive, and that was their goal. Now the firm side was fine because it was on the institutional side, and VCs were flushed with money and needed OTC vectors. So there you go. There you have it, and that's all I can give you for right now.
[1:08:16] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: That sucks. I mean, it super sucks. That's, like, the worst. It's...
[1:08:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean It was a journey.
[1:08:24] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: It just... Yeah. And the moral of this story is don't ever start anything. Don't try anything.
[1:08:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean DeFi. Just go DeFi.
[1:08:37] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Well, one of the things that that kills me is, like, this article mentions, you know, it's just like gambling and and firearms. And the thing is that's not true. There are many banks that have established relationships with firearms dealers. And there are many banks in states in which gambling is legal that have established relationships with gambling operations. Like, you think that, like, like like, what is it? Like, win or whatever doesn't have a bank? Like, that's... That... It... That doesn't... It's not the same. Like, they don't treat it the same. They're saying, like, oh, it's a high risk operation. It's not this. It does... It's not... Doesn't get treated the same. It gets treated as something that has some moral connotation that, that doesn't deserve banking. And and when did banks become, you know, the the moral arbiters of of finance? When did they get that power? When did they get any power like that? Like, that's not even their role. That's not the role of any bank in in our American federal banking system. That's... It's to distribute money. Right? That's what that's what the banking system is for. And then it was like to store money as soon as it became insured. But that's that's what it's for. It's not there to proselytize. I did not realize that this was a, you know, Judeo Christian banking system that was there to moralize as long... You know, about how I got my money. And and, you know, while they're sitting there, you know, charging me and getting rich off of the money I deposit into the bank. This
[1:10:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: Alex, I don't mean to cut you off, but what you just said is, like, IRS one zero one. How did you get this anyway? Let's crawl up your ass with a microscope. Like, you have all the documents for how I got this. Well... But your your... The t on this one wasn't crossed quite well. So, we need to do an investigation about how this actually came about, and we need to trace it back, especially on the crypto side. We need you to pay for an investigator on the blockchain to go and trace this back x amount of hops so that we know that some... That this never touched any potential money launderers' hands. And I'm like, oh my god. They were trying everything they possibly could. It's the most ridiculous process that I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. And this is one of the reasons why I'm a big proponent specifically in the Bitcoin sector of Bitcoin DeFi, like, actual DeFi on Bitcoin and the systems that are being built for that because that will go a long way in solving a lot of problems. It it still doesn't solve the problem of on ramping and off ramping Fiat, though, and that's a big one. So I'm I'm curious to everybody here on the panel up here. I don't know actually who's here because Alex appears as a listener to me. But who... What do you think... Or how do you think that's going to change or improve with the fiat rails, to and from crypt... Crypto? Are you encouraged? Do you feel like this is going to become a smooth process? Do you feel like it will be good for four years and then used against everybody that uses it during those four years? What are your thoughts?
[1:12:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. No. Alex, if you go go go. Alex, go go go. I'll No.
[1:12:13] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Cool. Please. Go ahead.
[1:12:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. Was gonna say I was gonna say I think I think it's it's gonna... It's going to improve just because of, you know, the, you know, Coinbase leading the charge on this now. And, you know, and not just... Not not not just Coinbase. You you you you have you have a lot of big money in our industry now trying to make sure we have a fair shake in next four years and hopefully in near future. But I think it's gonna be better. But we... It's it's not gonna be... It's it's not gonna happen overnight, though. I don't think so. It's probably gonna take some time for sure.
[1:12:53] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I think that... Yeah. I mean, I still think it's mandatory. Yay, baby. I think that it's it's mandatory that we still build independently. I still think that we need to build our own on and off ramps. I like this environment better for us to do it without friction, and I think we should take in... Should take advantage of it. Right? I think that we should take advantage of this environment, and and move ahead and do it. But I I don't think that we can that we can just, you know, sit and go, oh, well, this administration is going to be okay with us, so we should just, you know, run back into the banks and just assume it's all gonna be fine. Because what about the next one? Right? Like, that's the problem is you can't rely on any government to to be okay with you. Right? We can't we can't just, like, hope that, you know, this administration's okay, but the next one is, you know, is gonna suck or, you know, this one sucks. Then it... Well, let's hope the next one's okay. Like, we can't just passively wait administration to administration and and hope one works out for us. Right? We have to build actively so that we can just continue to grow. And that means a few things. Right? One is that, we need to attack in, the post Chevron world, right, which is, some of which is happening right now. We have a couple of cases that are coming, and and actually, you know, using the the new rules, which is that you don't have to to take the agency's perspective in in making rulings about things in... That are ambiguous or where there's, there's no law. Right? So it used to be that the courts had to basically take whatever the perspective of the agency was that Chevron, but post Chevron, which is the... God. Now the name is escaping me, the new the new law, but the new case that came down. But now it's wherever there's ambiguity. Oh my god. The doctor scared me. But now wherever there's ambiguity of post post... I don't know if that scared the crap out of you, but it was, like, an inch from my ear, and I feel a little bit deaf. But all of crypto right now, because they never passed a law, essentially falls into that loophole. So wherever... And I think XRP is going to be one of them because the SEC is appealing. So we're going... Loper. Loper bright. That's the pearl. So we are......
[1:15:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: Just gonna say it was loper. Yeah.
[1:15:51] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. So
[1:15:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: now...... Think of it.
[1:15:53] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: So so now where XRP is actually going to be appealing under, or the SEC is going to be appealing, but the regime change means that we don't have to accept the SEC's interpretation. Because, again, all of this is vague... Is is under vague, ambiguous, or no law. So which they're saying it's under the rules of securities, but that's not the way it is because it's digital assets. In digital assets, there's no actual law made even though we were supposed to have it two years ago. If you guys remember, treasury
[1:16:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah.
[1:16:30] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Said, come up with a law. Two years ago, we're delaying the infrastructure bill for you guys to come up with a a law. President Biden was supposed to come up with a law. He formed that presidential working group that had no crypto people in it. And, what did they come up with? Eight treasury reports. They came up with shit. Nothing. Nothing happened from that, which was incredibly stupid and lame and a huge missed opportunity. And, anyway, so so from this, we have we have that one, one prong of attack is that... Is the low burbright rule. The other prong of attack is, is the... Is new new legislation. That is promising. Right? But we have to actually know what we're doing. We have to create completely new legislation understanding that digital assets are completely different from any other asset. It's not the same as a stock or a bond or anything like that because it's a shifting asset. None of the laws currently in congress, and there are 50 of them, None of the laws, including FIT 21, properly address this. We need a brand new law. Right? So we need to do that. And that way, we're not dependent on what president is in office or whatever. We need a completely new law. And then the third thing is we gotta get out of the banking system because I don't wanna care if some, you know, old white banker who is, you know, screwing someone in an S and M dungeon, but wants to think that he's this, you know, super, like, you know, church going guy who has the right to proselytize about whether or not crypto is, you know, evil and for con men. I don't want that person in charge of whether or not my money gets to go into crypto or not. And I love you too, baby. And that that doesn't actually makes... Like, to me, that doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense that that bankers get that control. And worse, if the FDIC actually tells them to, then we end up in issues of things like church and state. You don't get to moralize about the things that I do with my money. Right? You don't get to do that. Right? You can say that it's not... The risk is not properly addressed, but you do not get to say it's good or bad. Good and bad are not the kinds of things that you get to say when lives are not at risk, when buildings are not on fire. Right? You don't get to talk about, like, my immortal soul. Right? You don't get to talk about what I do with my money, whether spending my money is good or bad. If you were gonna... If I have the right to put all my money in candy bars and let them melt out in the sun, then I have the right to spend my money on whatever it is that I want, including crypto. You don't get to moralize about whether or not it's good or bad or tainted money. There is no such thing as tainted money like that. It doesn't work that way. If I didn't steal it from someone, there's nothing wrong with it. Right? It's not part of a scheme of crime, then there's nothing wrong with it. So I don't... Yeah. I think we need to get out of that. So those are my three prongs that I think we have to address.
[1:19:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. In in addition, there's the the the regulatory clarity, I think, needs to come, like you said, by by passing some sort of a law that addresses these things. Because one of the biggest things is is they they do want to, extend the amount of hops that they go back and look at things because if something, you know, very, very similar to the Silk Road Bitcoin. Right? They wanna go back and be able to, prevent you from off ramping, or they want to, you know, seize your accounts or or roll you up in some sort of a reco charge or any kind of bullshit that they try to pull in order to... Any kind of tricks that they try to pull in order to do that kind of stuff. And I think, you know, while that thing... Those things are going to, essentially, I think they're gonna stop under the Trump administration, to... For the, most obvious cases. Obviously, if there's if there's things that are clearly, in violation of some law, you know, I don't think it's gonna be a complete free for all, but it will at least allow businesses to do business. And if it is gonna be a business friendly environment, the demand for a law to be passed will come along with that. Right? Right now, it... We're at a standstill, and I think that, the pressure has to come from the business sector in that regard and from regular everyday people who, want to hold these assets themselves or whether it's custodial or noncustodial, whether it's for business or personal. And there's... There obviously needs to be, some clear... Some clarity there, and I think that we will get that. Cool. I have a I have a question for you because Dave is over here. He's cracking the code. Right? Like, he's he's getting in on all of this Pizza Pet stuff. He's trying to get this pineapple out of a wallet, and that sounds completely insane when you talk about it on stage after such a serious conversation about policy and and that kind of stuff. Are... Have you been having
[1:22:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Lindy, I'm cooking, bro. Apples. I'm fucking cooking over here, bro. I'm fucking cooking. I love everything. I'm listening to you guys in the background, but I am cooking. My debt... Like, my beef cooking. We're so... Bro, we're one fucking word away, bro. We're try... I'm trying every combination possible, bro.
[1:22:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: Dave, can you can you tell people what you're doing? Like, they they might be confused, man. Can you just give me a quick a short summary?
[1:22:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Okay. So, obviously, you guys know I'm heading to the pizza pets game. Right? Well, first off, Chad, what's up, Alex? Good to see you.
[1:22:43] Kool @koolcryptovc: So here's what I'm doing. You guys know
[1:22:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm obviously a psychopath when it comes to this pizza pets game. Right? So the ordinal show is this morning. I was on with t o, Leonidas, and that whole crew. And Ralph, it's like team ninja alerts versus team Ralph. They put out, like, the final clues. So what we're trying to do is they gave us clues to a 24 word seed phrase. Right? And, ultimately, like, we have to go through all the different clues. So, like, the clues were... Like, I mean, this is crazy. They inscribed one of the... Like, the biggest ever inscription on a Bitcoin black. It was almost... Like, it was like the... An almost full... Like, a full four megabyte inscription that was totally interactive. You got to go there, click on a bunch stuff. There was, like, a bunch of entries. There's a whole story line to it. Right? Like, Ralph is upset. He got fired from Ninja Alerts Corp. And now it's like, oh, like, there's all these pizza pets, and he has these six, like, pineapples. And they're called, like, pet pulverizers. And when you essentially unleash one, then, you know, you have... Like, everyone... Every pet has a different color. And when you unleash a blue one, then every pet that has a blue, unless you fucking take that as a precaution, you're wiping out, which means deflationary supply and then price go up. So the last three... There has been three pineapples that have gone on auction. They've gone for 0.26 BTC, 0.4 BTC, 0.44 BTC. I mean, like, half, like, literally almost almost over a $100,000 just in fucking... Know this sounds crazy, but just in pine... In pineapples on auctions. But...
[1:24:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: So good.
[1:24:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. So now there's the final... There's a red one that's in a wallet that they've given us clues to. So me... And so I saw this coming from a mile away. Right? I saw the... These mechanics. I thought this was the big... The best thing since sliced fucking bread. And we've been literally, like, playing this game for about... It's been live for about three and a half weeks. About about two and a half, three weeks ago, like, a few days in, I, like, contacted a few people, and I'm like, we gotta get together and, like, form this little, like, mini DAO. We each put in some money, and now when you get all these 11, like, different types across, you become, like, the immortal pets, you get to breed for season two. So you control the supply for the future. And now it's, like, a race to the finish. So in the next, like, twenty one hours, we're now gonna have a full set of 11. Right? We're gonna be, like, the... Probably the second one. I think one person finished already with 11. But now if you control one of these pulverizers, it's forever. So you get to control, like, not only supply by breeding, but now if you launch one of these, you could potentially kill and wipe off a ton more people. And this is serious money now because these immortals, even though the prices come down, at one point, they were, like, 6 or 7,000. Now they're probably probably right around, like, 2,000 because, like, you know, people are kinda understanding the mechanics a little bit more. But this one pulverizer right now is sitting in this wallet, and if we get this fucking thing, it gives us a massive strategic advantage, or we could just sell the fucking thing for 50 fucking grand. I don't know. You know? So this is what we're doing. My buddy, b grand, is, like, literally a whiz, like, a software fucking psycho. He's got g p t o three on overdrive. We've cooked already two MacBooks. They just don't wanna work anymore. We're literally, like, trying to figure this whole thing out, these bit 39 words. We've got 22 of them. And if you get the twenty third, you can pretty much check some it and then essentially find the full twenty fourth. Right? So we're we're we're putting together puzzles in the background. I know this is a really long winded answer, but it's just a lot, and it's fun as fuck. And we're just trying to get the money.
[1:26:18] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: What's the price?
[1:26:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: So the price is not like... Just like a price. Right? So the supply started at 60,000. We're now down to under 17,000 pets because you actually have to take care of them. So it's like on chain Tamagotchi. Remember Tamagotchi, Alex?
[1:26:35] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. Yeah. So it's like... So it's...
[1:26:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: She's like, that thing died. What do you get?
[1:26:41] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Like, if you... So you you get a seed phrase, it on... Unlocks something. Right?
[1:26:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: So, yeah, this is just one part. Like, this is kinda like an offshoot of the game. Right? Like, the game is like take care of your pet. You have to feed it. Blah blah blah. Bitcoin blocks, you have to pay fees, the whole nine yards. But this now, this little side off is this pet pulverizer, one of the colors is sitting in a wallet, and we have to figure out the seed phrase based off of the clues that they've been giving us over the last three and a half weeks. And they gave us the final ones today, and they didn't make it easy. I'll tell you that much. So, you know, it takes a little bit of a little little bit of a bit of genius to figure this shit out. So we're hustling to try and get it. Yeah.
[1:27:20] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: So are doing the the... We're doing, like, the stupid work, aren't we? Dave's here, like, hustling his ass off, and he's like he's like, I'm gonna make $500 in three weeks. And we're like, yeah. I'm actually doing work. Yeah.
[1:27:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. From your lips, Alex, $500. I... I mean, look. That's the goal. Right? Like, I mean, this could be something... In my opinion, I think this could be something incredible. And they're gonna keep changing the mechanics. Right? Like, the game's gonna keep growing, and I think the supply is gonna keep, like, decreasing. But you just gotta stay ahead of the game. But, yeah, it's just been fun, and you get to actually learn about the blockchain. Right? Like, you learn about ordinal theory. Right? You understand, like, what Bitcoin block... Like, there was a Bitcoin reorg the other day that literally sent everybody into a panic because it's like, you have to apply the... Like, this lotion before, you know, if you wanna avoid being pulverized by the pineapple. And then it's like, but but what happens if a Bitcoin reorg happens? And it was like, fuck. My transaction doesn't go through for 40 fucking blocks. And it's just like, I now have, like, six blocks left. Is it gonna get in on time? Yeah. I I sound like a crazy person. I know. I genuinely get it. But, like I
[1:28:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: love it.
[1:28:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Ugh. Bro, what what... Like, Alex, when you get this... This has been literally my life. Like, these are, like, my children now. Like, I've been taking care of pets. So, like, we now have 11. I also have 11 of my own, and each of my team members also have 11 of their own. So we're all looking to try and race to this finish line and see if we can control the supply for future. But look. At a $2,500 floor, a freaking... A $1,000 investment by everybody right now is already, like, a 10 x is already a 10 x. You know what I mean? And we've been doing this for three weeks. So we're out here fucking cooking, man.
[1:29:02] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: All all people who have children... Okay. When he said, this is like having your own children. All people who have children, how many of you spit your drink out?
[1:29:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Besides me.
[1:29:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. No. Let me... Wait. Wait. Wait. Lendi, last thing. Let me be clear. Having children. Look the
[1:29:24] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: money probably. I mean, the payback, first of all, you are like, I put $1,000 in, and now I owe $500,000. Okay. That's like having children. Go. I already owe I already owe $2. I just had 30 of money. That's like having children.
[1:29:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Luckily, we don't have to send them to college, but I'll say I... What I did not say is it's just like having children. I said, these are now my children. How I raised these little fucks, I have no idea. You know what I mean? Because you can give them drugs. Right? Like, you can give them cocaine or LSD, right, to stop, like, them from losing heart health, but then they'll die after three days. And, you know, you can give them Molly if you wanna kinda, like, de evolve them. Like, wait.
[1:30:06] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: You breed with Dave. Nobody breed with Dave. Yeah.
[1:30:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's definite... You definitely don't wanna breed with me. That's a fact. Definitely don't... Well, actually, it depends. If you're a hot chick... No. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But, yeah, no, Alex, it's been it's been so much fucking fun. It's been so much fun. I can't even I can't even tell you how much fun I'm at. These guys are probably sick of hearing me fucking, yeah.
[1:30:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: Pizza beds. Pizza beds. Pizza beds.
[1:30:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, the funny part about the last thing that you just said there, well, if you're a hot chick, Dave, you almost just took what you could potentially have as $500,000 and turned that into $500,000 in debt. So if you do wanna... Go ahead. Have a look at it. Yeah. But I gotta tell you, it is... It... I am, Alex doesn't know this about me as as we haven't had a chance to talk too often here, but I am 100% a degen. I was an early, an early Bitcoiner who has been around for a long time, and I'm early to the Ordinals ecosystem, very involved in it myself personally. And, this game is also something that I am playing. I know that Cool... You didn't get into this game, did you?
[1:31:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, no. No. No. I'm just... I'm watching you guys from from a distance, man, with this one.
[1:31:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Watching and laughing, people buying one of one pictures of pineapples on the
[1:31:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, no.
[1:31:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. Mean, I'm not...
[1:31:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yo. No. This is this is one thing that I learned, well, four years ago is crypto, you... It's... It it doesn't it doesn't need to make sense to make money, if that makes sense. Because we... I saw... I remember the the crypto rocks. The... Remember the rocks from four years ago? They're selling for, like, 500 k or million or or 2,000,000 for a PFE picture rock. So Yep. Yeah. So you're making money in crypto. It's whatever. It's... That you... If you take pictures of your toes, put... Make make PIP of it, someone buys it, it's all gravy, man. That's... Money in crypto come... Comes in different forms here, so I don't look down in any form of it. So
[1:32:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's amazing. I mean, yeah, I mean, I have a picture of a... I have tons of pictures of hand puppets, on Bitcoin in my wallet. So, yeah, you know, it... It's, poorly drawn, purposely purposely poorly drawn hand puppets, also known as Bitcoin puppets, and, OMB and, like, all these other things on the blockchain that are... You would think are absolutely ridiculous. And to most any normal person in the world, they don't understand the the perceived value economy.
[1:32:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: No, Lance. I I I tried explaining NFTs about three years ago to some girl in my work, like, years ago, and she looked at me like she she she was just confused, man. It it... It's almost like me trying to explain Wi Fi to a caveman. She was lost. She was like, why do these NFTs cost 50,000 or a 100 k? It was the picture. She's like, I I don't get it. So I stopped trying to teach people NFTs because I I can't explain either. I mean, what gives it the value? But I guess I guess people give the NFT value, but it's pretty nuts out there. But it's what it is,
[1:33:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: though. It's like explaining to them
[1:33:22] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Oh, sorry.
[1:33:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, go ahead. Sorry.
[1:33:25] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: No. No. It's okay.
[1:33:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was gonna say it it... I would also encounter this when explaining NFTs, before Ordinals, and it's the same conversation with Ordinals, to, some family members. And, the the the first chink in the armor came when, they said, well, can you right click and just save the picture to your to your desktop or your phone? And I was like, well well, yeah, but you don't actually own it. Like, no. No. No. It's on my phone now. I I totally have it. Like, I I own this. I was like, yeah. But you can't resell it because it's not on the blockchain. You're like, yeah. But I just want the picture so I can take the picture. And I was like, yeah. But but but but... And, like, I I did a piss poor job of explaining it.
[1:34:10] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I will tell you how to explain this,
[1:34:11] Landy @CryptoLandy: check on that.
[1:34:12] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Here's the difference. So first of all, an an NFT is just a basket of rights. It's all it is. It has nothing to do with the images or the cartoons or things like that. It's a basket of rights. They're really financial tools. Right? That's where they properly belong. It just happens that, generally speaking, collectors and porn start off new technology. And here we had a collectors in art for lots of different reasons I won't get into. But, but they're a basket of rights. And what you have when you have an NFT in in in... Instead of right clicking, it's the difference between someone holding the deed to a house versus driving by and taking a picture of a house. Right? Those are two fundamentally thing... Different things. An NFT is just basically a a deed of ownership plus a link to whatever it is that you have ownership to. Right? That's that's what that is. So when people wonder... Like, a lot of people don't really understand what that NFT actually is. But what that NFT is is some set of rights that you have to something. It delineates a set of rights that you have. And most people who are dealing with NFTs, everybody right now is really just dealing with the very, very top level of what NFTs can do. They're actually enormously powerful. The next level of crypto and blockchain altogether... Like, so I wrote a book on DeFi. And the last chapter of the book, is, is the future of DeFi. And the future is actually going to be powered in part by NFTs because these are fundamentally assets. We're moving towards an asset driven economy from what we have now, which is a debt driven economy, fundamentally weaker than an asset driven economy. Right? And when you're looking at what NFTs really are... So right now, what we're doing essentially is just trading speculative values of these things that that don't actually do much. But fundamentally, these things are super powerful, and they're getting more and more powerful. We're not even looking at all of the things, the new technologies that people are continuing to add to these things and how they interact with one another. So, fundamentally, what we're going to be doing is giving people, assets that they'll be able to move and trade and use as collateral, do all sorts of things with, and finance their lives based on assets that they hold and can prove in the future. Right? So this is actually the core asset that we're going to be... We're going to have in the future. And it's... It... Like, right now, we're looking at it, and you can think of a little bit, like, what PFPs are is sort of like like album covers or CD covers. Right? That's kind of what they are. Like, that's kind of what people are trading are these, like, speculative aspects of these things. But there's actually a whole album inside, And that album is actually not just music. It's actually music plus huge amounts of data plus data storage plus the capabilities to do some AI. Like, there's a lot of capacity in that... In the actual, like, data underneath just that cover. So when you think about what NFTs are, it's why it kills me when people are like, NFTs are stupid. I'm like, you have no idea what that is. Because these are not these are really powerful little engines of assets in the future that we're going to be using to power entire, like, economies. So, you know, what we're doing right now is just learning what they are, what they do, how people value them, and things like that. But this is not a nothing thing. Right? This is just a... This is like the beginnings of the seashell economy. Right? But fundamentally, it's an asset driven economy.
[1:38:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I... And I agree with you. If I had the the wherewithal to explain it the way that you just did and not that, oh, yeah. All of my all of my houses on chain, essentially, crashed at the end of the cycle because I held too many of them. And then everyone came by and took pictures of them in my wallet and obfuscated away... Absconded away and pretended to be various parts of my portfolio, and explained it instead like what you just did, they probably would have had a better understanding. It is something... Like you said, it's an untapped, entire market ecosystem, and it is the future. I mean, we're we're seeing how the the way that Michael Saylor wants to use it, for, contracts with the project orange. Right? Project orange or Bitcoin orange, I think, is the, the the program that he's funded up, in house there at MicroStrategy. And I think he's gonna be opening that up. It... It's it's really, I think that one of the big things now, in the future is going to be that, layer one settlement for a lot of NFT based utilities is is kind of the way that I've heard it termed more recently. That, no matter what chain it is, that you can abstract back to layer one settlement for Bitcoin for that, security and immutability, aspect. And I know that, that's been a hot topic in the Bitcoin community for a while with miners, and, there's two very hotly contested sides of that debate. But we're already here, and things are already being done. I mean, for crying out loud, we're we're taking care of pizza pets that can be destroyed by pineapples because pineapple on pizza... Obviously, there's people within that community that are against pineapple on pizza because it destroys your pet. But I think it's I think it's pretty incredible. I do have to... I I wanted to shift over for just a moment here. Cool. What have what have you been doing on chain lately?
[1:40:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: So I've been... Like I said, similar to what what I did last year, which was I I was heavy on the Celeste ecosystem. And because of that reason, they gave me access to a lot of projects, just multiple of them. And so I'm I'm I'm running the same play on, like I said earlier, five or six different blockchains this year. I don't wanna stretch myself too thin. So focusing on, you know you know, heavily funded projects like Monad and Berry Chain and and Eclipse and few network And what's the... And and and that's about it. I think that's it. And and and Movement Labs. So those are the five I'm looking at. Right? So just, you know, waiting for them to to go to main nets and being being active user. I like to I like to mess around with stuff, jump... You know, use you... Using their DeFi, using their their buying NFTs on them. Just being being active user because I think that's how you kinda get rewarded. That's what I did last year with Celestia, which gave me... I'm still benefits until today. It's been a year and a half since. I'm not... Like, a year. It's been a year since Celestia came out, and I'm still ripping the benefits still because I I got that early. So I like to do stuff like that on new blockchain. So once they come out, I get that early. I start to play with the DeFi stuff. I'm borrowing. I'm lending. I'm doing all these things. And, you know, just just it's just fun for me. I I like that. Right? Just testing testing the the project, testing the speed. And because I hold spaces too, I I sometimes interview the founders and devs. And it's just cool, man, to to be part of different communities. Right? I mean, I'm part of multiple communities now because of... I got there early, and I contribute. I go to Discord. I got all these roles. There's so much going on. And the reason why I tried to to keep them small... Actually, last year, I was kinda all over the place, but this time, I wanna keep it small because there's over 350 blockchains now and more launching this year. It is almost impossible to maintain, to keep track of what's going on. So I just... I tried to keep it small while also being very, very active. I'm pretty busy on all the chains, but just keep it small. And, of course, the biggest of all, which you spoke about earlier, is the... Trying to buy buy AI agents on these niche blockchains. Because every blockchain now wants to copy base, wants to copy Solana when it comes to AI. I'm lucky to get involved with the ZK sync side. I'm sure there's gonna be other ones I'm looking at. I think story protocol or movement labs, all those projects, they're gonna have their own AI ecosystem too. All I need is just to buy one or two or three on each chain and just get the ones that actually have real backing towards them and real real products. And I think that that's what I'm doing for this this year. And... But it's it's it's it's gonna be a great year just because of a lot of projects, kinda like what Alex was saying earlier, a lot of projects where we're being choked choked out, man. Either you... Do you lose a business or you leave the country? A lot of these protocols now are popping off. Why do you think of Robin Hood and Climbace and cracking and listing all these projects? They're listing a whole bunch of them from nowhere, like, back to back to back because they know what's coming. So a lot of protocols that left The US, a lot of founders that left The US, they're probably gonna come back as long as they... They they probably pay a small fine or something, and and they'll be they'll they'll be allowed to build here. So 2025... Actually, let me take that back. The year of Trump, obviously, the years of the years of Trump. So between now and 2028, multiple projects are coming now. Multiple. God knows how many. And to me, in my opinion, when they say, oh, you're gonna make all his money or wealth wealth wealth other stuff, you have the opportunity opportunity to do that now between now. And I'm I'm putting I'm putting a number on when Trump leaves office because I don't know what happens after he leaves. I have no idea. Right? What if he leaves and the democrats get back in power and and is that... I mean, unlikely unlikely because by then, the crypto industry will become... Has become so powerful even now. I mean, even now, the crypto industry is part of the reason why, Trump won. They dumped they dumped in over $200,000,000, man, of of of of of lobbying to kick out all these senators that that are trying to hurt crypto, and it's just nuts. So at least for the next three and a half years, I would tell you guys, do what you need to do because I don't know what happened after Trump leaves, but I think... I just think that this period is is gonna be time to lock in, buckle down, start doing what you need to do to make sure you don't get left behind. But for me, personally, I'm just I'm just running the same play I did last year on multiple chains this time, and I'm not gonna go create... I I just wanna make sure I have AI exposure on each liquid blockchain. That's the Mona, then the Berry Chain, then the Stereo Protocol, and a few network, and Eclipse. All these new chains have something to prove. So, guys, I need to stop my my my YouTube show right now. I'm actually live right now, so let me head out. Thank you, Alex, for coming. Dave, I I I hope you make a meal because what what what what you do, send me my share, bro. I need to eat, bro. And, Landy, I'll see you guys later. Take care. Much love, guys.
[1:46:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Much love. Appreciate you. Cool. Yeah, guys. We're gonna close out in a second, but I just want to point out one thing. This top news story here at the top. New. The Enron CEO, Conor Gatos, introduces the Enron egg, a mini nuclear reactor for residential use that he says can power your entire home for ten years. The announcement on j six, January 6, was the long awaited bold new vision for Enron. Ladies and gentlemen, we have harnessed the power of the atom. Introducing the Enron egg, the world's first micro nuclear reactor. I can't even get through this whole shit. For residential suburban use, Gaydas said. This little device can power your entire home for up to ten continuous years. Whoever these guys are, all I know is they are masters at fucking creating this fucking narrative. I mean, this is the best spoof I've ever seen. Bro, you got legitimate fucking accounts on Twitter retweeting this bullshit. But, like, I mean, seriously? Landy, how do I get involved? This is what I genuinely wanna know. What meme coin is this? Is it Enron? Is it e n r 0... Like, what is... What's the coin? I wanna ape.
[1:48:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: You know, I was kinda thinking... I was wondering why the Enron on Seoul was running again. I was like, this thing was dead. What happened? Because I had I had some dust in there, and all of a sudden it went up. And now that I'm seeing this, is this is this completely faked, or was this EPS 2025? What the hell is this? Yeah. This is amazing.
[1:48:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: You see? If it... Lendi, if it makes you second guess, then they've done their job. It's a 100% total bullshit. Just FYI. Yeah. Somebody come... Somebody put in the comments. What do they actually... What does it run on? And somebody wrote gullabillion.
[1:48:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: My god.
[1:48:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. This is great. I I thought maybe was this like a CES? Like, did they actually go that far and actually do a presentation on... At CES, or was this something different? And, clearly, it's something different, but what... This is really really well produced.
[1:49:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, I kinda wanna know. Like, Alex, are you getting a nuclear egg from the new Enron from Connor Gaydas?
[1:49:23] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Oh, for sure. Yeah. You're hurting your first? You know? Yeah. I I didn't want my teeth anyway. So... Yeah. For sure. 100%.
[1:49:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: She said I didn't want my teeth. Alright. Alex, Landy, I can't thank you guys enough for covering my ass while we figure this out. I hope I end up finding this goddamn fucking egg. I hope we end up with the seed phrase. I don't know. Like, I got I got my dev that's sending me literally just, like, cryptic messages. He's sending me decipher codes, bib 39 words, possibilities. I'm over here sitting trying to type in every single thing into it and import a new fucking wallet, and I don't know if I'm any closer, to be honest. I thought I was, but I don't know. But either way, I just wanna thank you guys for really just carrying on an amazing... I was listening the whole time for carrying on an amazing conversation and really just kinda carrying this entire space. I hope everybody here genuinely actually, like, learned something. And and, Alex, when I heard Landy talk about the Chevron case, I just wanted to scream. I was on the... I was literally, like, on a FaceTime, and I was just wanting to scream into the phone. Loper, we did this with Alex and not not already. Loper.
[1:50:33] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: And
[1:50:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I couldn't remember it.
[1:50:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's all good.
[1:50:38] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: It eventually comes out. I was like, it's in there. It'll come out. It'll come out. Don't worry.
[1:50:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alex, what's
[1:50:43] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: came out. I was like, oh, yeah. There it is.
[1:50:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. What's going on with your show, by the way, Alex? How's it go... Like, what... The the... What's the deal? Everything going okay?
[1:50:51] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Founders. It is... I'm moving it back to Tuesday night. So it was on Thursday more... Thursday mornings at ten. The problem is my schedule is so tight. There's, like, a lot of new rules that I have to... That I wanna break down. But I don't have a lot of extra time to do that, if I don't have time in the mornings. So, so I moved it. So it's gonna start on Tuesdays at six, PM, and, and I'm doing... So this Thursday, I'm doing the new IRS regs breakdown. It's for crypto, which there's new DeFi and, you know, traditional crypto regs. Everybody can be a broker now. Whoo. It's crazy. These regs actually directly contradict some of the stuff that treasury said, which is funny because the IRS is a subdivision of treasury, and that's not supposed to happen. So... And then next week, I'm doing net neutrality. So there's a new decision that came out about net neutrality, which affects everybody who uses the Internet. So I'm doing that. And I I think that, you know, I think that this... The next year is gonna have a lot of new regs and rules. So I'm just kind of trying to make a little space so that if they come up and we need to do breakdowns, I've got some time open for that. So it's just been busy. Lot of busy going on. But, but I've got the the... They're going really well. They're really fun. There's a lot of questions people have. Unfiltered founders is a show that sometimes Dave is able to do, but not often. But it is a a show that is essentially you just come and ask questions. If you're a founder of any type, come and ask your questions. You can do it anonymously, and, we'll answer your questions. And it's very, like, clear and, practical info. And they can be any question that you want. It's not a troll question, but anything. Like, I can't get any customers, or I don't know how to grow, or, I can't get an investor, or how... What do I do?...
[1:53:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Find this damn egg in a fucking... Just damn pineapple.
[1:53:17] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I got trolled. What do I do? Like, whatever it is. But you don't have to worry about, like, your reputation getting completely shanked about it. So, but it's fun. So we just do it. We do it every week, and, and it's been going really well. We're about to come out of beta soon, so I'm excited about that. That's cool. Yeah. It's awesome.
[1:53:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Shit, Alex. Guys
[1:53:38] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Thank you, man.
[1:53:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Of course. Guys, everybody follow Alex. Try and tune into that show if you can. If you have the time, like, if not, make some time... Carve some time out. Just go listen because I know that there's so many people out here that are idea men and women. Alright? And nothing frustrates me more than when I hear idea men and women chastising other people like me and saying, oh, I gave Dave this suggestion. I gave Dave the... You know what? Give the suggestion to yourself and go try and build something out here. But you wanna do it the right way? Go listen to Alex fuck Alex's fucking space. That's the place that you're gonna get real... Like, she's gonna... She's going to shoot you straight. She's not gonna tell you what you wanna hear, whether you like it or fucking not. She's going to tell you what you need to hear as a potential founder, as a current founder, whatever stage that you're at. It's super insightful. So definitely, like, please do please, guys, go check it out. Alex, awesome. I appreciate you obviously stopping by as always. Thank you. Landy, well, closing thoughts, man. Thank you so much, bro, for obviously, like, covering me on this, dude. Like, you really carry this, man. I appreciate you, dude.
[1:54:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. No worries, brother. Yeah. I mean, this was... I I thought it was a good conversation. You know? And it was great talking to Alex as well. I'm glad that you came up on stage with with Dave Kuhl and myself here. And I've been actually listening into your show. I I I I get your DMs, and I go and I jump in there, and I listen for as much as I possibly can with, you know, those very expensive kids around me, real ones, not just the Pizza Pets ones.
[1:55:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. My Pizza Pets.
[1:55:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: But not... You know, great conversation. There's... It... This is the beginning of the new year. It's still, like, it's kind of not yet settled into my brain yet. So, you know, I am full on, Dave. I have now, signed up. You know, Sailor... Michael Sailor has his free college stuff and free courses and stuff. I signed up for one of his AI classes, that they had just put up. And I don't think it's a a certificate course yet, but I need to catch up with this stuff, like, genuinely.
[1:55:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: And No. Share that, bro. Like, that's dope. Share that with me, man. I want...
[1:55:51] Kool @koolcryptovc: I would love to get involved.
[1:55:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's Sailor Institute. Yeah. I'm gonna... So I actually wanted to go through it and see if if it teaches me, and then I was gonna start pushing it out there. But, I'll get the links and stuff when I get a chance, and maybe maybe, tomorrow or something, I'll post it up. You know, he has a lot of, like, really good blockchain focused stuff, but there's also... It's like a full college. Like, you can actually get a degree, by the way. It's all free. But they... There's a certificate course in there, a track that is kind of on the programming track with AI. And, you I don't know how good it is in comparison to other things that are out there, obviously. You know, it's it's... I don't know what I don't know either. Like, I'm not a genius when it comes to this AI stuff like yourself. Like, I'm so far behind. So that's my next venture for this year. So I'm really looking forward to that outside of, you know, my normal market stuff. Good stuff. I really appreciate this, Dave.
[1:56:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Of course. Always, man. Always, always, guys. Hope you guys enjoyed this conversation. It was great. Whenever you have gigabrains like these two and cool up here, like, and shout out Nat Nat. You know, she's still obviously, like... You know, she's taking a little family time, as we all need. So, we're looking forward to getting her back hopefully really soon. And, yeah, man, appreciate everybody coming through. I see you. Alpha Gamer, I'm glad your white pineapple survived. Yo. Alpha Gamer was in my DMs being like,
[1:57:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: I know it was you who bought
[1:57:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: the white pineapple, and you detonated it. I'm like, listen, gamer. I had nothing to do with that, bro. I had absolutely nothing to do with that. Shout out Hinano. I see you here, man. Macho. Macho, Deb, d, everybody that came through. Slim, I see you. Riot, upper food chain, I'm just closing, bro. So I saw the request, my man, but we've been going for, like, ninety five minutes, bro. So... Yeah, everybody else that came through that followed Alex in here, that followed Landy in here, whoever. Appreciate you guys coming through. We do this every Monday, Tuesday, went... Monday through Thursday, 05:30 to seven Eastern Standard Time. We went a little bit over today, but wish me luck. I'm going back on my pizza on my Pizza Pets venture. Guys, have a great night, and I will see you back here tomorrow. Peace.
