All Things Crypto w/Dave Kool & NatNat Sponsored by @BTC OS

AIAirdrops / TGEsBTCBinanceCircleCoinbaseCommoditiesDeFi

The hosts Dave @DCBK2LA and Kool @koolcryptovc along with Landy @CryptoLandy and Mark @MarkJTulloch discussed the FOMC decision to hold rates steady, interpreting Jerome Powell’s unexpectedly pro-crypto remarks as a significant positive development for the industry and a possible response to Trump administration pressure. They covered Phantom wallet’s expansion to Sui, Crypto.com’s delisting of USDT and nine other assets for EU users to comply with MiCA regulations, Trump Media’s launch of the truth.fi fintech platform, and the emerging “yaps” social points meta. The conversation also explored decentralized AI through the Think / Futureverse protocol, plans to attend ETHDenver, an ambitious tokenized networking event concept pitched by Eric Spivak, Bitcoin strategic reserve momentum across U.S. states, and various market and regulatory updates. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:03:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: I can't be doing this, like, you know, pinky phone thing anymore. I'm doing that. You know that? Anyways, Viper, what's good, baby? Welcome, everybody. What's good? Hope everybody's okay. Happy hump day. Welcome to another episode of ATC, all things crypto. Today is a test run of sorts so that I can show a potential new client of mine in Bitcoin OS exactly what this looks like and the engagement that we can have. So if you get any value out of these spaces whatsoever, I genuinely ask you to take three seconds right now, please. I never push this on anybody, but please retweet this space. Like in the comments. Comment in the comments. Give us something so that they know that they're partnering with the right crew and me, Cool, Nat, Landy, and every other contributor that comes up here every time. The only thing that we ask of you guys. So please, if you can, we gotta make a good first impression today. So let's go. Cool. What's good, my brother? How are doing?
[0:04:30] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. What's going on, bro? Hi, guys. Doing... Landy, what's up? What's up? Yeah, man. Good day. Good day. Bullish FOMC, maybe. We'll see. We'll find out. Let's go, man. Let's do it.
[0:04:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Obviously, that was the big news. But, Landy, let me say what's up to you, my brother. How are doing, man? I feel like we haven't spoken all day. Kinda weird. I miss you a little bit.
[0:04:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Wee. Wee. What's up, Dave? What's up, cool? I see Mark's up here as well. What's up, Mark? Yeah. You know, we actually haven't. I was in one of the spaces that you're in, but I was in another space as well. So I didn't get a chance to speak with you or Millie, but I was listening into two spaces at once, and it was entertaining in both. But, yeah, I know we're gonna get to, some of the bigger news today here shortly, but it's been a good trading day. And, and I'm very encouraged by some of what I've been hearing coming out of the administration and, maybe the Fed? Weird.
[0:05:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: The Fed still exists? What?
[0:05:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I know. I wanna end them, but, I mean, if they're talking, like, pro crypto, then I'm okay.
[0:05:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And and Bitcoin's moving a little bit now. Right? Like, we got a little little upward momentum in Bitcoin. Right, Landy?
[0:05:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's actually held support around one zero one on a closed open basis pretty well and then started to move up towards $10.04 and slightly above. So, you know, if it can break out above there, I think we go for the highs again.
[0:05:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: So... Yeah. Let's go. Let's go. Shout out to everybody that came through. If you guys are coming through now, you check the title out. We got a sponsor here. We got a... This sponsor is gonna be here probably for the whole month with us on a full on a full ass exclusive. So we are gonna barrage. Y'all are gonna know everything there is to know about Bitcoin OS by the time you are done with ATC and they are done working with us. So... And we are gonna be thorough as all hell because this is massive news of what they got coming and what they got cooking. It's gonna be a new Bitcoin l two. Shout out to your boy, Charles Hoskinson, Landy. But, yeah, let me say what's up to Mark. Mark, we have had a chance to chat in a lot of spaces today, man. What's good?
[0:06:31] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: How you doing, Dave? Yeah. Good to be back. I've been on a bit of a hiatus from spaces, just bloody getting through StartUpLab and doing a bit of building, but, yeah, entering back into the fray. Good to be here.
[0:06:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, man. I'm sure you know what we do here. We are gonna go over all the top news stories, headlines, everything crypto related, price action, anything that we feel is gonna help essentially better educate our audience and help them either make make better and smarter decisions, whether that's to do something, to do nothing, or or even if it's just this, to ultimately stay informed. So a lot that went cooking today. Shout out, Saag. I see you. Blockchain Bob. Vincent, what is up, my bro? Lendi, I got Vincent already on board. He's gonna be doing some of the regular spaces with us, contributing whenever you guys can come through. So we're gonna have an all star panel, man. LJ, I see you, my brother. What is good? Kev, good to see you as well. I like this, man. I'm seeing a lot of apes in here. Andrew, what up? I like it. I like it. Alright. Let's get cooking over here. FOMC meeting. I don't... Now, obviously, like, for those that didn't see the news, Jerome Powell decided we're leaving rates unchanged. Right? Nothing changed. There's no hikes. There was no cut. Now that's not the story. The story here is if you guys saw what president Trump said, and he said, let's see if Jerome Powell goes with what he wants to go with or if he succumbs to the White House pressure. I don't know if you guys actually saw that Trump said this. Now, obviously, like, there's still speculation, but do we think that this is essentially Trump telling him, motherfucker, you better not touch these rates. Let this market do what it's gonna do because we obviously know that Jerome Powell's main job is to try and keep inflation under control. So cool. You like this move? Do you think it was also orchestrated by our boy in the White House?
[0:08:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: Hard to say, man. I mean, of course, I'm I'm sure, Powell knows, Trump doesn't doesn't doesn't mess around. Biden wants to be different. I guess he had... I wanna say he had more freedom. To be honest with you guys, it's hard it's hard to tell. We don't really know what's going on behind closed doors. The rates being unchanged today, I don't... To my honest with you, I I think it might be a good thing, man. I mean, I think it it might be a good thing because if they cut rates... I I don't know. It's it's so hard to tell because you you don't know what... How the market reacts either way. If they raise rates, we're screwed. If they cut rates, we're screwed. So I so I don't know if this no chain rate will still happens in the long term. I'm not sure when they will announce another rate cut again, but, yes, it's pretty crazy, man. If... We'll kinda see what happens, though. But I I honestly, I don't know if this is bullish or bearish. Only time will tell, honestly.
[0:09:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Could take... I guess we'll see. I mean, look. It's like this adage of it ain't broke, don't fix it right now. Right? Things are moving. Like, let's keep this constant in a way right now. Like, I don't need this fluctuation. This is another... Like, regardless of up or down, if you keep things the same, you can now keep your focus on everything else that you're doing, obviously. And rumor has it, by the way, that Elon is now set... Doge is now saving the federal government a billion dollars a day. I don't know how these numbers are being calculated. That clock is crazy, but we'll get to chat about that in a second. But, Landy, what'd you make of the FOMC meeting today?
[0:09:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, I I mean, it came in as as expected. Right? You know, steady at four four and a half. And this, is actually a good thing in my opinion. Much... The the the markets don't like unexpected moves by the Fed, whether it was, to to Cool's point, to the upside or the downside would have, in my opinion, had a, at minimum, short term negative effect on the markets either way. And I I would actually venture to say even though Trump is talking tough about lowering rates, I think that he, wouldn't want them lowered this early. Right? We're we're only nine days into his administration. They're still in the process of signing EOs, still gathering support for bills to go through congress, still placing people in the administration. So you you know, he wants to be prepared on the economic side of things. So I think where, where things... Where Trump might be applying pressure is for the Fed to not opine on cryptocurrencies, and I'm sure we're gonna get into this in just a moment. But, you know, for the first time in a very long time, Powell has talked about currencies. And, specifically, you know, he's... He he, mentioned that he's not here to endorse or or oppose crypto currencies, but but ensure that any interaction with the banks will have crypto activities done in a safe as... In a safe and sound way, basically, and that they should be able to serve their customers who hold crypto. Call back to SAB121. Right? And they... That they don't think they should be denying service to people just because they're involved in crypto activities. I was personally affected by this. I know that many, many that I know were as well that were doing business here in The United States with US based banks. He also expressed that he was, you know, pro innovation and wants a better regulatory framework around digital assets. Hey. Isn't that what Trump was running on? I mean, the people he's putting in place. They're all lying.
[0:11:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: He literally said banks are perfectly positioned to essentially, facilitate crypto transactions. Like, what the fuck?
[0:12:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. And it... It's... It... This is... You know? So the general feel out of it was really a very pro crypto stance because, you know, I don't think that that Powell himself and the Fed directly wanted to, inhibit crypto's growth because they're all about growing, you know, the... Growing the velocity of money. Right? And you can't do that if, if you have an administration that's running a Chokepoint two point o program. Right? Now, yes, they want to get themselves in position to have an have an exercise, some control over how this process kinda plays out. So I think this is... You know, it's good indications in the way that he's talking. Clearly, he's been talking with his administration, prior to their... Them coming into power and now continuing to have those talks behind closed doors. Probably one of the very first few phone calls between the Trump administration and Trump himself likely to Powell. And it's really about... Is from here on out, like, that's a positive. Now from here on out, it's... Does Trump start to... When does Trump, I'd rather, start to really apply pressure, verbally on the timeline? We all know how he he likes to operate, right, on the Fed to start lowering rates. And I think what we'll likely see is as, the policy prescriptions start to get worked out, as EOs, start to come to fruition and start to get enacted and rolling, We have his appointments in place, and things are kinda steady going probably in a month from now when everything is like, okay. We're... We got ops up and running, operations not opposing. But now we can start to really manage this in a way that that will further our agenda, then I think he's gonna start applying some pressure to the Fed personally. That's what he indicated today. It's definitely what he indicated.
[0:14:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'm... And wait, Landy. So answer this question. Like, I don't know if you saw that Trump statement, but do you think that Powell had, intentions of going in and cutting rates, or do you think that, what's it called? Excuse me. Raising rates. Or do you think that he, quote, succumbed to the White House pressure? And that was, like, all Trump's idea, like, keep it unchanged.
[0:14:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: I... Well, I... You know, the... I think that it's... I don't think that Powell succumbed to White House pressure, and I don't think he was gonna raise rates either way. I think Trump is playing a game of chicken with him and setting the table preemptively. I think that they probably had a good conversation about what the Fed was gonna do. If I'm... This is pure speculation. Right? And my thought process is this. I don't think that he would have wanted a rate change. I don't think Powell was gonna make a rate change. That that was not being indicated by any of the Fed heads coming into this anyway. So that would have been a shock to the markets, and kind of an about face. Like, maybe there was somebody threatening to do that, but I doubt it was coming from Powell directly. And in this case, I do think that I think that part of it was like, hey. You better be out there talking about how you're going to help the the, the policy agenda of the Trump administration when bringing crypto to The United States because it's a big part of my platform. So you better be out there talking about what you're gonna do to help facilitate growing, this industry here in The United States and fostering the growth of this industry going forward. So I think that's one of the reasons why Powell unprompted and then in response to questions, you know, talked a a little bit about crypto. And then it's a matter of, like... You know, Trump has a lot of tools at his disposal to kind of force the Fed to do what he wants. And I've spoken about this here in many other places. All it takes is for Elon to continue to cut the federal workforce, and now Powell's gotta deal with rising unemployment. Right? And if he wants to get out ahead of that, Trump is gonna urge him to get out ahead of that.
[0:16:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: No unemployment. He gave them severance, so they cannot claim unemployment, bro. It's like retirement money. And in the in the short term, obviously, it's gonna cost them. But he said at the end of the year, it'll save him a $100,000,000,000. Like Interesting. Yeah. I mean, then they fudge the unemployment fucking numbers anyway as if we didn't know that. But... Yeah.
[0:16:45] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, oops. The thing is is people out.
[0:16:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Federal employees. I had a... I have I have some friends that are just out. They're not on a severance.
[0:16:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: They're just out. I'm just saying what he ref... What Trump referenced. Like Okay. Because he literally made them an offer. Like, yo. Leave, and I'll give you money. Like, here you go. We'll pay you eight months, and, like, you'll be good. But Yeah. Yeah.
[0:17:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: These guys didn't sign the deal. That's just so people know. Like, I am a I'm a Trump supporter, but I have a lot of friends that are not, and they didn't sign that deal. They wanna they wanna fight them. They're not getting anything. They're actually now, going and applying for unemployment.
[0:17:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: And also note that Lindy is a poll worker as well. He works the polls.
[0:17:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: I do. I work... I rock that poll.
[0:17:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: In Southern California. Yo. Hold on. Shout out to the new... I saw some new piece of faces. Ape, what's good? Meta Ruth, it's great to see you. Norby, I see you, my bro. What's good? Taibo, welcome, man. It's good to see some new faces in here. Nino, I see you, my boy. Yeah, man. And Ace, that's all I asked you to do, but, I mean, thank you for doing it. I love you for doing it, Ace. You're the man. Alright. What else we got cooking now? Oh, wait. Hold on. Mark, you wanna chime in on this on this FOMC stuff?
[0:18:01] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: No. No. It's it's interesting to listen to, I guess, from a geopolitical perspective because it all does seem to roll downhill. Shit rolls downhill to New Zealand, but, no, I... I'm not across it, so I'll stay out for now.
[0:18:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: He's like, I know my lane. I am not touching this shit. Hell no. Yeah, man. I love that. Okay. What else we got cooking? Phantom. Today, big news. Phantom wallet has now officially expanded to multichain support and adds SUI. So I'm going to admit right now, I own a very small bag of SUI. I've literally not touched it. It's nothing crazy. And the only thing that I've ever done is buy SUI... That SUI for that position, and I bought some, like, SUI geckos, like an NFT project or something. Shout out to the SUI geckos if you're still in existence. I have no idea. This is obviously huge for Phantom. Like, they're slowly and methodically looking at where is... Where are the hottest ecosystems out here, and, like, what are we gonna put support for? And, obviously, like, we're big fans of of Phantom wallet. Cool. Obviously, this is a great move. Obviously, it's gonna be an amazing move. But I'm kinda curious. Have you actually, like, played on Sui at all? Like, is that one of the ecosystems that you're playing on?
[0:19:16] Kool @koolcryptovc: So I I did I did last year or year and a half ago when when they first came out. I did get a a nice airdrop at the beginning. I'm sorry to say I I paper handed, I said, early. But now, three is doing well, man. It's the it's the, you know, it's the chain that's... It's really fast. It has users. CVL is exploding right now. I mean, it it... I... It's... There's a lot of competition right now. Right? And we we we... I I don't think there's gonna be a one chain rule... Rules them all. It's gonna be chains that interact with other chains, man. So that's why this move with with with with with with with Fantom is good. It's a good move. But, yeah, man, I think I think so so we would do well. It's just there's a lot of there's a lot of other projects out there, and I I just believe that now that now that the US government is throwing a hat in the race, they're gonna be picking winners and and losers, man. And I think I saw yesterday, there's rumors of Movement Labs. Movement Labs uses uses the same tech as Chewy. Rumors of Elon Musk using that chain as... To help doge with the US government. Just a lot of crazy stuff happening yesterday. But but a lot of competition is a good thing, at the same time, not all will win, but only time would tell. But for now, as of right now, SUE is doing well. Is exploding. It's super fast and not too much bad things to say except for the founder of Sui leaving. I'm not sure if that was a good good or bad thing. He left the chain. So He
[0:21:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: left also? This is... We're talking about Aptos. We're talking about Sui?
[0:21:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yep. I I mean, I thought... No. No. Wait. Wait. I thought the guy from the Sui left also. The guy from Aptos left. Sui. Yeah. 100%. I thought the guy was... Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. But... Yeah, mate. They they all use use the same move language, after those two and and and move. And like I said, it's just the the the the the the competition is being rough now. I don't know how... What what the future holds for all these chains, man, because it's just there's there's just... There's almost 300 blockchains now. 300. Oh, I think three fifty. Not all of them not all of them will survive. Right? So as of right now, like I said, SUI is doing it. They're killing it. TV is exploding, and the price also has gone nuts, though. But I don't know too much about Sui. I played on it early earlier, but not so much, man. Not right now.
[0:21:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I don't think many of us have really kinda dabbled around Sui. If anybody has played around Sui, feel free to come up, but I kinda wanna get to this next story. Obviously, that's a great one. That's more of, like, headline, but crypto.com to delist Tether USDT stablecoin. Like, that is earth shattering news right there. So listen to the story. It reads like this. Crypto.com is set to delist Tethers USDT and other assets for EU users to comply with MICA regulations, MICA, whatever you wanna call it. Trading restrictions begin January 31. So this is literally, like, at the end of day tomorrow, full removal by March 31. So it's gonna be slow in... I thought it gonna say by tomorrow. But by March 31, you will not see any USDT on any EU crypto trading platform. So crypto.com announced Tuesday that it would delist Tether and several other assets for European Union customers following regulatory compliance requirements outlined by EU authorities. So this is a really, really interesting move. Obviously, Tether, down, like, by far, it's not even close, like, the largest stablecoin issuer. The one company that you guys hear us talk about all the time that made more money than fucking BlackRock in the last few quarters, which is not an easy thing to do. They're expanding their operations like crazy. So this is really interesting, I guess, timing at the end of the day. But for crypto.com to come out and and make this move, I'm curious what... A, maybe why haven't... And, Landy, if you wanna kick us off on this, why do you think we haven't heard from any other exchange as of just yet? Because the only news I've seen is just crypto.com. But, like, what's your take on this?
[0:23:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: Crypto.com wants to, you know, cause themselves a lot of pain in the in the European market, apparently. Look. It... It's it's a silly decision. It... It's a silly regulatory decision. It's a silly decision by them not to just fight it. I don't... You know, I I know that, crypto.com is still used by many, but they are lagging pretty far behind in comparison to their competition these days, and their competition is getting better every single day. They're still gonna remain relevant for a long time, but this move is silly. I I don't agree with it on either end of the spectrum, but, you know, they are... They wanna remain compliant so they can keep operating there. I believe they're still gonna have USDC. Right? So this is this is where things get interesting because this is gonna be the stablecoin wars. I think over the next four years, we have more and more stablecoins being introduced to the market as well. And, you know, I mean, Tether is is a target, and they've been target for a long time for a lot of different regulators. And I think that that is not gonna slow down, and I think that the competition is gonna get stiffer. Obviously, the main competition right now is is Circle. Right? Yeah. There's some innuendo in there.
[0:25:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't mind me. I'm just a child.
[0:25:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's gonna be a hard road to to to hoe for the next couple of years.
[0:25:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Super. Shut up. Wait. So listen... So wait. So listen to this also because I think this is relevant too. Right? So this was put out by Crypto News. It said major crypto exchanges Bitpanda, OKX, and crypto.com recently secured licenses under the European Union Markets and Crypto Assets. Right? That's MICA regulation. So OKX and Bitpanda have obviously secured these as well. This was literally, like, two days ago. But now they're saying... Like, crypto.com is the first one to come out and say, hey. We're d... Like, we're delisting USDT. I need to dig into this a little bit more to really kinda get the nuance, but cool. What's... Like, have you looked into this, like, any more than kinda what we covered so far? Because I think I'm gonna have to bring Junie into this conversation.
[0:25:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: T p. Yeah. P.
[0:25:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's it's it's very similar to what Landy just said. You know, there's a big target on their back. The US government doesn't want USDT, and I think it's Circle. Circle has a lot of influence in DC, and I believe they've been lobbying heavy against USDT. Because Circle has USDC, which which has gotten approval of many governments, man. But USDT, they don't they don't like that. It's out of their control, and they don't want it. But I think that's probably what's happening, man. I think there's just a lot of...
[0:26:37] Kool @koolcryptovc: There's money coming from USDCircle into DC to try to kill USDT, and that's the way it is. But, unfortunately, I mean, USDT can be killed, man. This... They're too big to fail now. And plus, they have the biggest users overseas. A lot a lot of people in The US or the West don't use don't use race... USDT. If you go overseas now, Singapore, a lot of these Asian countries, they don't use USDT. So if... They might lose market share in the West, but they'll be fine, man. They they they have... That'd be huge user base in in Asia. So Let's see
[0:27:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: if Junie can kinda give us the breakdown on this really quickly. She can kinda give us the breakdown of the story. Hey, Junie. Can you give us the breakdown on the, USDT, being delisted, as well as... There were some other really notable tokens that are being delisted as well in addition to USDT on crypto.com for these MICA regulations. Can you give us, like, the brief, like, ninety second synopsis, please?
[0:27:40] Voice I: Sure thing. Crypto.com is delisting Tether's USDT stablecoin along with nine other tokens for EU users to comply with MICA regulations. These regulations require strict compliance and licensing for stablecoin issuers. The delisting is set for 01/31/2025 with a withdrawal period until 03/31/2025. Exchanges are likely to offer Mika compliant stablecoins like USDC and Circle's Euro coin as alternatives. This move aligns with new regulations aimed at enhancing transparency and consumer protection in The EU.
[0:28:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. What were some of the other token... The other nine tokens that you mentioned that are getting delisted as well?
[0:28:19] Voice I: The other tokens being delisted include Wrap Bitcoin, WBTC, DAI, PAX dollar, USDP, PayPal USD, PYUSD, crypto.comstakedeth, STEF, stake SO, SL, Liquid Cronos, Elcro, XSGD, and PAX Gold. These will no longer be available for EU users starting 01/31/2025.
[0:28:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's crazy. Did you guys hear that list?
[0:28:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: That is insane. WBTC doesn't surprise me.
[0:28:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, but the WBTC, PayPal USD, like, all these stablecoins. Like, Circle is literally getting the monopoly out here because of these Mika regulations.
[0:28:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Well, I mean, they applied
[0:28:58] Kool @koolcryptovc: Bro, I
[0:28:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: They applied.
[0:29:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: Come on, man. I told you, man. They they they love being heavy, man. That's the reason why they they doing this. Yeah, man.
[0:29:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, listen to WBTC, DAI, stablecoin. Pax Dollar, stablecoin. PayPal Dollar, stablecoin. Every... Most like the major liquid stake tokens, Stake ETH, Stake Sold, like, PAX Gold. Like, this is PAX USD. This is crazy. They're gonna have a full on monopoly out here. Full on.
[0:29:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's definitely interesting. One of the one of the bigger things is is you're gonna probably see more WBTC delistings, which I think is gonna be interesting considering who's backing that.
[0:29:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's your boy. That's your boy.
[0:29:43] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I know. Look. It's... Yo, Stacks, get your shit together and go get your licenses over here. That's the the SPTC in there. Right?
[0:29:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Bro, that's what... We're gonna... I I have a whole plan for Monday behind the Stacks, bro. Like, we're gonna make some noise on Monday. I'm telling you right now. Yes. Crazy. Alright. We'll see what's what. Have you have you all seen this new Trump announcement about fintech platform truth.fi? I'm literally opening the story now. I saw the the headline, but I generally don't know. It says, Trump Media launches truth.fi, a financial services platform targeting traditional and crypto investments. The project awaits regulatory approvals before its planned debut later this year. The Trump Media and Technology Group, TMTG... My god. He's probably got so many of these. The parent company of Truth Social announced on Wednesday that its board had approved the launch of Truth... Okay. What does Truthify do? Like, exactly where is it?
[0:30:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: Integrate, a finance application into Truth Social. So they've been planning this for a while, much like how we have x payments coming in the partnership with Visa. They're gonna be doing something similar over there.
[0:30:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. So it says... Yeah. We look forward to launching truth.fi, introducing, different investment vehicles, unlocking synergies. Truth. Is a natural expansion of the Truth Social movement. I'm actually not familiar with Truth Social. It says we began creating a free speech social media platform, added an ultrafast TV streaming service. Now we're moving into investment products and d... And decentralized finance. That's a pretty big move. That is a really big move. I mean, Trump is making a massive splash out here, bro.
[0:31:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's, it's bootleg Twitter, with Vine integration. Didn't know it's gonna have financial stuff. Look. I I I I just... I'm not a fan of the user interface. I use it. I I wanna keep up to date on what Trump is saying. He usually posts there first. Many of his staff members, longtime, communications director for him, Dan Scavino is there, former caddy, for him at one point becoming... Rising all the way through the ranks there in the Trump organization to, basically be by his side every step of the way. Also, a notorious, shit poster himself. And it's... You know, if you wanna know what's going on, Dan will usually bring over those posts or was bringing over those posts that Trump would put up. Of course, now Trump will post there first and then post on x. And it's really... This is kind of the way that we were expecting things to go anyway. It's just interesting that they seem to be making the announcements ahead of many other platforms. Like, we know only what's going on with x payments because of some of the deals that they're making. Well, the Truth Social team is out there like, hey. We're gonna go full force and integrate all of these different things, which is kind of interesting. So I I... Yeah. I'm for it. I I... The more the merrier. Come on board and integrate crypto and wrapped wrapped products and tokenized products. Do it all. Get it done. We need it.
[0:32:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Yeah. That's what Sagar Sagar came up. Sagar, what's good?
[0:33:04] Voice K: Hey. What's good, brother? Yeah. I actually just recently made accounts on True Social because I was like, you know, with all this happening, I could see it happen. And, you know, I think cross... You know, getting on all the different platforms is gonna be big. There's also a thing called the that's being built out where it's kind of like... You know how they're making, like, multichain, you know, blockchains? Well, it's basically, like, multisocial media. So it's pretty crazy. There's a lot to learn.
[0:33:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I thought it was social media for the feds.
[0:33:37] Voice K: I know. Right?
[0:33:37] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: That it
[0:33:38] Voice K: They made a bad name for it.
[0:33:39] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: But Worst...
[0:33:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's, like, the worst naming or marketing, like, ever.
[0:33:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Seriously, man. Over to the Fettyverse, guys. Don't worry. You're safe here.
[0:33:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Promise. That just doesn't sound good. It's like literally
[0:33:54] Voice K: They tried to make it, like, a DeFi name, and so they made it, like... You know? But they totally screwed up.
[0:34:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: This what happens when you put marketers in charge of naming blockchain.
[0:34:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, what do we do? Literally, the first thing that came to mind was, yeah, baby. Like, FediWAP. Like, that's what I thought. Right? Then I thought Feds, like, I'm digging jail. Like, it's just, like, this is not good.
[0:34:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's it's January 6 averse. Let's go.
[0:34:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. J six averse. Like, what are we doing out here? This is crazy.
[0:34:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wild. Wild. Wild. Wild. I know you're down there. Come up here. Give us your marketing takes, bro. I need to know if Fettyverse is... If that would have been at the at at the top of your list. Alright. Let's see what else we got. Cooking in the news.
[0:34:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hold on, Dave. I need to know. Cool. Are you gonna be streaming on Fettyverse? I
[0:34:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: don't think so, bro.
[0:34:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: No no Fettyverse for Cool? Okay.
[0:34:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Can y'all explain to me what this yaps thing is? Because, like, I'm I'm seeing an animal. I know I'm very late, but, like, what exactly is it?
[0:34:59] Kool @koolcryptovc: Bro, you're not in a yapping, bro. What? Are
[0:35:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: you serious?
[0:35:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? Really?
[0:35:05] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Yeah. FediWAP's blockchain is gonna go crazy when people realize it's not part of the federal government, but it is supported by the feds. So, yeah, shout out,. Yeah, baby.
[0:35:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Cool. Tell me about Yaps, bro. I need to know.
[0:35:27] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: If you could imagine, like, an office of, like, Karen's just constantly talking in circles about nothing, like the donuts and things that are in the break room, like, multiply that by, like, 50 times speed and just the most annoying pitches and voices ever and people talking about invisible Internet money. Let's see.
[0:35:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Wait. Just wait. Because I know you're not using this shit. Okay?
[0:35:55] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Alright. I
[0:35:55] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: got I got my yaps. I got my points. I'm actually shit. And you're using it? I'm in a Yap Telegram group. It's fucking horrible. It's by far one of the worst things that I've been a part of other than, like, the Trump coin. But yeah. Like, I... It's it's all bad. Like, why do we have to incentivize talking? Are we that disconnected and detached with the lack of communication skills because of social media that we just can't talk anymore? We have to be paid to talk. Like, that's that's what it
[0:36:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: is. That's literally what I do for a lit... Literally what I do for
[0:36:28] Kool @koolcryptovc: I was I was so I was so I was so confused, man. If you yap, you get paid. So I I I can't complain, man. If I'm if I'm getting
[0:36:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: how much you get paid?
[0:36:35] Kool @koolcryptovc: If I'm getting rewarded for yapping, that's all good. I'm good. No. No. No. No. It's, it's it's... I think it's it's a good way, mate.
[0:36:40] Voice J: You know how
[0:36:41] Kool @koolcryptovc: much you get paid? So... Okay. It kinda depends on it depends on how early and how many yap points you already have.
[0:36:49] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: I'll tell you how much you get paid.
[0:36:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. Let's go ahead.
[0:36:53] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: And it depends on if you have an inner circle and your respective placement on Twitter with the smart followers that are with you. You don't get paid shit.
[0:37:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, yeah. You must not know Cool's account, Spiv. You must you must be just meeting Cool for the first time. Yeah. Cool. Literally.
[0:37:12] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I'm on the leaderboard.
[0:37:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're on the leaderboard?
[0:37:14] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: I'm I'm on the leaderboard. Like, it's... Like, I mean, like, wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Hold on.
[0:37:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Cool. Cool. Where are you at on the leaderboard?
[0:37:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: I have no idea, though. I would say that, the the NFTs we got for for, for, I think, what was, like, 7 or 12. I don't even remember how much NFT was, but, yeah, it's not it's not... Look. So the... This this this is why I like crypto. Right? Some people might be mad or whatever whatever. Cool. I like the culture. Something different. Something fun, man. Like, yo, it's it's fun. Like, I... You know, just enjoy the ride, man. We... Oh, we have this. We had the the friend tech, the medic came, and we died. You try the culture. It's fun. And if if it sticks around, enjoy. If it doesn't, it doesn't. But I don't I don't I don't I don't fade anything. I I love anything new, anything old, whatever. Just bring it. I'll yap from today to tomorrow. Just enjoy the vibe, man. That's kinda how I see it. The reason why I like this, honestly, is because a lot of projects struggle to get to get attention. Through this title stuff, it's giving a lot of other projects that not too well known. It's giving them a chance to to get an audience. And, you know, you you talk about the projects. You earn your points. And whenever... I think they've they've rewarded a top 1,000... I don't remember a couple $100, but like I said, man, like, enjoy the ride, man. I don't I don't feel anything crypto. It's fun to me.
[0:38:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I'm I'm stop being so bitter, bro.
[0:38:49] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: No. I'm not so salty about it. I mean, like, look. Free money is great. Like, I found $20 on the ground yesterday and gave it to a homeless guy, like, ten minutes later, And then I got free drinks at the bar ten minutes after that. You know? That's just how it works sometimes. But, yeah, I just... I think that, like, the walk to get paid, talk to get paid, listen to get paid, sleep to get paid, like, learn to earn. Like, models are just kinda... And and the pimp my friend models. Like, tribe dot fund was FriendTech, and it's like, it's already... Like, everybody that invested in any of the people that they cared about has lost all of that money. So I don't know. It's like, you you pick and choose your battles. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna battle the yappers. I don't wanna be talk to death.
[0:39:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. I mean, you gotta have something to talk about, and goddamn, I play this much. I mean, shit. I could talk about this shit all day every day. I mean, that's why being cool literally on this shit. That's crazy that I'm not doing this cool. Send me a referral link, bro. Like, let me get on this.
[0:39:54] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. It's it's not... It's it's... I think I think it's it's very simple. I I talk every day. Have guys. You know, I do set of shows. I'm on Twitter seven days a week. I do shows every every single day for the past one year straight, man. I can yap all day long. And it's fun. I just like it. So this is what I'll say. Right? I... You guys remember, we don't... A lot of people that live in the West, we live in a box. Some people make $50 a month. No joke. So if you're yapping and you're getting paid a $100, that's that's big money for them, man. That's the reason why I will never look down on any protocol for rewarding users or whatever. So I just like the vibe, man. Good or bad, we move on. Right? But I think... I I like this because it... Like I said before, it gives projects a a way to get the community talking about them, and that's why I like it. But right now right now, the top project right now is MegaEat. And not MegaEat invested by Vitalik and other other, like, big VCs or whatever or... You know? But, yeah, I I like it, man. It's it's it's fun. To me, it's fun Because it just... It it... Crypto sometimes gets boring, and it gives me something to do. I need something to do, and this is one of the things I do. I yap all day long, and I think it's fun.
[0:41:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Eric slowly crawls into his ball and says, god goddamn it. I hate this. Spiv, maybe you just gotta talk more, bro. Maybe you should come to more of my spaces and talk more because we have enough of them. I'm just saying. What the hell?
[0:41:32] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I mean, I personally... I have, like, stayed away from Yaps just because it's, like, frustrating because I don't speak Japanese. So it's, like, all in a foreign language, and, like, I don't really, like, understand what they're talking about. But maybe, like, Landy who can't, like, ever land a plane and is, like, fluent in Japanese, like, maybe it'd be better for him.
[0:41:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Landy. Please. Trans... Transland. Hook us up.
[0:41:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Jesus Christ. You're freaking it out. We're just having crossover jokes. Holy crap.
[0:42:03] Voice K: That's how it works.
[0:42:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I can definitely yap with the best of them, and I should be getting paid for it. But, unfortunately, I'm not getting paid to yap. And, and I think that if you're yapping and you are too busy yapping that... So busy yapping, I should say, that you crash land a plane, then all of a sudden, you end up with something...
[0:42:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: The day you crash land a plane. Oh my god. The day.
[0:42:33] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Mean, I'll take a crash landing. I... I'm yet to see just the landing,
[0:42:36] Landy @CryptoLandy: you know, of any time.
[0:42:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's like we launch you, like... You know what I mean? Those planes where you just throw with your hand and this is... It takes off, and it's just like you lose. It's just gone.
[0:42:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. And then it's like space to space to space. I'm still talking about the same subject, like, five weeks later across 20 different spaces, events that don't even have the same people.
[0:42:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: I roll over at 4AM in the morning. I look at my phone, and I see, Lindsey just popped open to space. And I'm like, what is happening right now?
[0:43:01] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. It's like when you're at the top of the stadium and somebody throws that paper airplane, and then, like, a minute long video of it just, like, slowly, slowly, slowly all the way making its way all the
[0:43:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: keep going, oh oh, it almost got... Oh, it caught some air again.
[0:43:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, a golf... Yeah. Exactly. Because you're looking at it and go, oh, it's it's nosediving. Then all of sudden, a little gust of wind, and it's like right back up again. You're like, you think it's coming to an... Alright. Let me chime in. No. It's still going. Okay. Still floating out there. Alright. Yeah. GP, let's go, bro.
[0:43:35] Gpsc.btc @GPSC_STX: Hey. What's up, guys? Yeah. I'm not gonna... Am I gonna say the thing? Yeah. Yeah. I hope everybody's having
[0:43:41] Kool @koolcryptovc: a blessed day, and, you know,
[0:43:43] Gpsc.btc @GPSC_STX: yeah, it's been a very productive day today.
[0:43:50] Gpsc.btc @GPSC_STX: I'm working on getting a harmonica.
[0:43:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: My man. Let's go. That's what I'm talking about. Thank you. Team player right there, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome, GP. Dildo, really quickly, I wanted to just kinda give everybody the recap in case it... Like, this listening audience maybe didn't have a chance to come to our space yesterday that we did with Wagmehub with the SyncAI team as well as the Futureverse team. And, I mean, this is super, like, relevant. I don't know if you guys paid attention, but, yeah, Billo, can you maybe give, like, a little bit of a recap as to kinda, like, how the space went? I'm gonna... While I maybe go pin it to the comments and pin it to the top.
[0:44:24] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. I mean, for me, it kind of, really solidified. Like, AI has made all of the headlines, but there hasn't really been, like, a big, movement of, like, decentralized AI and, like, owning your own data, training it. So it's like all of these AIs are still being powered by, like... You know, if you're using OpenAI, you're basically feeding the beast. And if something doesn't change, I think we're gonna be in, like, quite the predicament to where there might be two or three countries or two or three companies that completely own everything because all AI is doing is data mining. And, again, you know, I think your favorite clip, my favorite clip from it was, you know, Aaron, like, we lost the fucking battle with the Internet. We lost the battle with fucking money. We've seen money start to come back a little bit with crypto, and I think the importance or them trying to kind of put the emphasis on, like, we don't have that much time and we can't fuck it up with AI or we won't get a second chance. So, yeah, they've created a protocol to kinda make your AI and all the data that goes into it completely ownable and then also transferable and interoperable in between whatever types of applications. So if you're interested in it and, you know, I think most people that are in this space very much believe in decentralization and owning their own stuff, and I don't think AI should be any different. So I really, really recommend kinda giving that a listen to kinda figure out how you can really truly own not only the AI, but the data that's fed into it as well.
[0:46:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hell yeah. Well said. Yeah. And, guys, this is gonna be now... I also got confirmation yesterday, Bill. I don't know if I told you this, but, chatting with Mometa. Shout out to Mometa. We're gonna get Shen on the space. So now we're gonna start branching out into all these other projects that Futureverse touches. Like... And they're... And that's on the x... Like, Shen's building on XRP. So now it's like, he he, Landy, we're gonna have to come face to face with the Galactic Federation. It is what it is, bro. That's it.
[0:46:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: My body is ready for five d ascension. I've been preparing for this since 2013. I haven't moved a single damn coin.
[0:46:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Get ready for the quantum financial system. I feel like it's like a movie trailer.
[0:46:52] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Mhmm. Pretty good.
[0:46:54] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Mean, they seem to be building, like, the virtuals of XRP and bringing, you know, a lot of that agent creation tied with the token, but text to, you know, description, profile picture, but they also have text to three d animation, text to all different stuff through future verse tools. So I feel like it'll be a virtuals on steroids. So I think they're opening test. Did I ever send you the the link to get in for early testing?
[0:47:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Okay. Yeah. I I think you did. I just sent it again just in case.
[0:47:31] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. Yeah. For sure. That's supposed to open up here very, very soon, and think I it's launching in February. So, it'll be interesting to see. I've been finding that there is a lot more degen and main coins in the XRP space than I originally thought. So, yeah, curious to see how kinda that plays out and Oh, okay. Spins up.
[0:47:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. So, Lainie, that was gonna be my next thing. Right? Okay. So we didn't get full confirmation. Right? And this is still speculation. Right? I don't... I didn't wanna blow up their spot. But you could deduce if you know how to read between the lines, okay, that think and this team... Like, y'all remember other side and how that mint... That quote metaverse mint went... And it was... Like, they made hundreds of millions of dollars, and they sent you a JPEG. And and it was an NFT of, like, oh, this beautiful metaversal world. It's gonna be amazing. We're just not gonna do anything with it. We haven't figured that out yet. We just wanted to take your hundreds of millions of dollars. But now you now put... You add AI to this component. If you coulda heard... And these are some of the biggest gigabrains in this space, guys. I can't stress it enough. Go... Like, the link is up top. Go listen to it. Other side, something's gonna be cooking, and it's gonna be an announcement. Some sort of an announcement's gonna be made. We... This... Again, this is not official confirmation from the team. None of that. But if you know how to read between the lines at East Denver, there's gonna be something cooking. And me and Billo decided yesterday, we need to be there when it fucking happens. So we are going to East Denver. That is a fact. I gotta get planning and and do all this shit because these are the teams that I want to be around. Right? These are the guys that open every fucking door for you, and I wanna learn from them. Right? Like, you guys hear me talking about all the different a... Junie, this, that, whatever. I want to learn from the people that are out here building this tech to help speed up my learning process. Mhmm. But, also, I don't know shit from shit about building an AI agent. Right? I'm not the tech person. I have to make do with what I have. So...
[0:49:28] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. I mean, I think the main the main point of what they're doing is, you know, the example that they gave when AOL used to have to have CDs until the guy from
[0:49:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Netscape entries. Yeah.
[0:49:43] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. Created Netscape, and then we also saw it with, like, ERC twenties. And then, you know, it just being a, you know, standards that other people can kinda build on top of. So they're kinda creating the Netscape or the ERC 20 for AI agents to then enable people with all kinds of incredible tools to then go build on top of those standards and protocols.
[0:50:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Mark, I kinda wanna rope you into this really quickly because I know, obviously, like, we've had extensive conversations on... Well, not extensive, but we've obviously talked about what you guys are building with Bitcoin Startup Lab. Talk to me. Like, are you familiar with the think team, with Aaron and the Futureverse team? And this kind of stuff you're thinking about? Because I know you're building a a very Bitcoin focused AI agent. Right?
[0:50:33] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. No. It's funny you mentioned Aaron and the Futureverse team because I am over here in New Zealand. And, yeah, the head of technology is a good friend of mine. He he actually worked together with us on a crypto mining project. He was our CTO for that. So, yeah, I've been I've been really lucky to head down to the office at the Futureverse and, yeah, get to see what they're doing. It's pretty pretty fucking mind blowing, to be honest. Yeah. Aaron and... Aaron's, like, a genius, obviously, but his brother is, like, the mastermind with the with the AI stuff.
[0:51:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Which one? David or... Yeah. Which one?
[0:51:17] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. David. Yeah. Just, like, a little side note, which is about them. They've set up a... I think it's David set up a AI company over here in, Australasia where they bought out... I think it was like a a company that... A public company they bought out over in Australia, and they've converted it into an AI company. So they... And they're heading into, like, mainstream. I think they're going into, like, the health vertical and finance. So... Yeah. They're pretty much...
[0:51:49] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah.
[0:51:49] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. They're, yeah, all AI. So they're... I mean, they're they're rock stars over here. Like,
[0:51:55] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: they're probably out...... Called being...... Under Unicorn we've had.
[0:51:59] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: David's... What was that? Sorry.
[0:52:00] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: The the company that went public, I think it's called being AI?
[0:52:05] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. Correct. Yeah. Correct. That's
[0:52:07] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: what...... Consulting firm?
[0:52:09] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. That's right. Yeah. But they took over a a publicly listed company in Australia, and so they listed over there. But... Those guys are absolute rock stars over here in New Zealand. We haven't had a unicorn company for a long time. But it's it's interesting looking at their history because I used to work at a company... Well, our main telco provider is called telecom, and the innovation, department of that was called Geni. And those guys are, like, o g Geni, like, guys that have been working in the space a long time. So... But I'm I'm a... Yeah. I'm like a fluff and and reverse maxi. I'm fucking all over it. Stoked.
[0:52:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Although you're not gonna
[0:52:53] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: That's crazy.
[0:52:53] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Small world.
[0:52:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're not gonna fan out?
[0:52:55] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I mean, we're, like, you
[0:52:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: know, you know, you guys are meeting now. It's like you're meeting one of your own. Like, I mean, you gotta... I I like the bunny better. Can you go back to the bunny, bro? I got this bear... This red bear with the mohawk thing. I don't know. It's
[0:53:07] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Had to put on the tuxedo for the spaces, but, yeah, I'll go back to the I'll go back to my
[0:53:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. And, guys, if you know of any project that's gonna be out in East Denver, someone you maybe want us to say hello to that you can maybe put us in touch with, that you think would be a good fit for us to just even talk to on the ATC side, crypto side, just an introduction. Like, please, my DMs are always open. Hit up Buildo. Hit up Cool. Landy. Like, hit us up because, like, I genuinely want to meet as many people as possible. This is actually gonna be my first Ethereum event as crazy as it sounds. I've actually never been to, like, an East Denver or permissionless. I can... I've been... I've never... Singapore Token twenty forty nine was literally my first, like, real event that I actually ever went to. SPIV, I'm gonna need your... Yeah. I'm gonna need you. I just saw your message. Yeah. So this is this is gonna be some cool, cool stuff. And we have some amazing stuff, whether it's with SPIV. There's hackathons that are going on, and not just dev hackathons. Right? Like, there's marketing hackathons. So there's some really, really cool shit happening. Yeah. Mark, go for it.
[0:54:09] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah, man. I'm I'm coming up to East Endra, flying from New Zealand, bringing over our head of AI CTO. We're all coming out. Should be cool. So we're hooking up with the... Like, all of the... There's, like, a quite a few Bitcoin side events, but I... I'd be really keen to catch up and have a whiskey and maybe toss some crypto.
[0:54:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Don't tempt me with a good time. Let's go. Hell yeah, bro. That's exactly what we're meant to be doing at this thing. Network, network, network all day. Shout out, Steven. I see you. Legacy, thank you for rolling through. Yeah. Vildo, go for it, bro.
[0:54:46] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. I was just gonna tell Mark. Aaron will be out there with the Think team doing a demo of the Think protocol. And it is, like, completely interoperable across chain, so it doesn't matter what platform you're building on. Even if you're only focused on Bitcoin, you can still kinda tap into their protocols to kinda supercharge what you're doing to provide interoperability for whatever it is that you're trying to do. So letting other people come from other chains to get into Bitcoin that way as well. So if you're around, definitely suggest catching up with Aaron and the thinking.
[0:55:20] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. No. That sounds great. It's it's interesting what you guys are talking about because, know, v zero, we're just like you're getting in and building it. And like you're saying, we're, you know, we're building on AWS, but that's certainly not the the road map and game plan. It was like, we got offered by this this group. They called... I mean, you probably... People may have heard of them, so I'm telling you what you already know, but Manifest AI. So what they do is they do a... They've they've actually do a token swap with AI projects, and they've now got... I think it's about a 185 token swap partnerships. Future versus one of them, but they're a deep end project. And they've got... I think it was, like, something like four or five different... I don't know the terminology, but, know, the highest grade of data center. And, yeah, they're they're doing some amazing stuff. So we're looking to move over from AWS to to those guys as step one. But, yeah, I think I need to dial up four runner. If you guys ever looking looking out, see him around. He's typical dev, very rarely on x, but he's the head of technology there. So it sounds like, yeah, I need to give him a call, get connected.
[0:56:32] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Yeah. I mean, And...
[0:56:34] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. Like, Think was a merger between Altered State, which, you know, obviously, David was the one that originally founded it. But they ended up merging with sixty seventy nine AI and created the Think Protocol. The sixty seventy nine guys are the Jesse and Mikey who we had on the show yesterday. And they have, like, this AI institute with over 50 different companies that have kind of already said, like, hey. Yes. Like, let's all build with the same standards. And, like, not just, like, oh, yeah. Just a bunch of random little startups. Like, companies like Render Network, like, that are onboard to kinda push this stuff forward. So, yeah, it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, but I'm sure there's some opportunities for your company to kinda get in.
[0:57:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go.
[0:57:25] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. No. Absolutely. Bloody... Yeah. I'd love to get get a few introductions if you've got some good networks there too. So Twitter friends with with my meta, but those guys are super busy. So, yeah, I'd love to connect in the back back channels. Let's go. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. True story. I guess, I got one for you. I've still got
[0:57:50] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: three unboxed ASM I've been sitting on. Yeah. The the IG NFTs from back in 2021. I mean, you I still haven't unboxed them.
[0:58:02] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I'm just gonna let you know, like... So, obviously, the brains... Like, I I mean, I don't know if you know, but if you unbox them, those brains come with, like, an Asto claim, which is the token for altered state machine that is gonna get rolled into Think. So they're now going to be Think tokens. So there'll be a conversion plus for those brains, you'll get an airdrop of think tokens as well. So you may want to think about unboxing those here in the next, you know, month or so. That way you can kinda capitalize on the think token.
[0:58:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're welcome, Mark. Don't forget the little people. When you get rich off your fucking think drop, that will... They'll just put you on to.
[0:58:47] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Yeah. No. That... That's that's good, man. That's funny. I went into the future first server. Said, hey, guys. I got some unboxed. That is him. They're like, you fucking idiot. Unbox it. But I don't know. It's just something, you know, where you keep keep things clean in a fresh wrapper, and I I I don't know what it is, but I I do need to unbox them. Don't be a don't
[0:59:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: be a collector at this point, bro. Be smart. Let's go. Go get your tokens. Like, get it. Like, what what are we talking about here? But in case anybody has no idea what we're talking about, we're essentially just telling Mark now that, like, we're kind of a big fucking deal. Okay? That's what we are. We're a big deal now. Alright? This is who we're talking to. Some of the biggest projects out here in web three, in the web two world. Like, we are networking with everyone and anyone. Now, Bill, though, I appreciate the heads up. Mark, thanks for the insight as well. Alright. Let's see what else... Oh oh, wait. Spiv. Spiv. I need to know. Obviously, you're you're definitely gonna be out at East Denver. So, what can you give me? What can you guys ask? Where are we staying? Like, what fancy hotel? And what's the events? My god.
[0:59:49] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: This guy. Yeah. So I just lost all my money on bad baby, bad bad bad part, whatever the fuck. And then, like, the remainder of it, I'd moved into Jack Dorsey's coin thinking that was gonna take off and then lost the remainder. And then I bought, like, poo poo dick punch and fucking just, like, came up a 137 x. So we're back alive, and I don't know yet. I have not made any plans. I have to convert from XRP to Solana to Ethereum to Hedera to Cardano back to USD. So all that said, I have a 10,000 square foot compound at Eat Denver at a really incredible space called Asterix, and, there's over a thousand RSVPs on my event portal with, new Friendship Tech and DecentralCon. So if you've ever been to Decentral in Miami or Hong Kong or Dubai or Austin or anywhere else that they've done it, you know that it's full of some of the best people in the space. And, yeah, 10,000 square feet's a lot. So anybody that has a project that wants to present, I'm looking for sponsors, cohosts, speakers, exhibitors, vendors, performers, and artists. And I really would like to... Like, all these conferences are so segregated with, like, the exhibition booths, but I'd really like a show and tell type thing that gives everybody a chance to, like, shark tank elevator pitch, like, what they're doing, why it matters, who they're doing it for, what contributions to the bigger ecosystems of crypto it has, what long term impacts, anything that's pushing the ball forward, like, I wanna hear about and I wanna feature and highlight in the best way possible. So I'm sure at least everybody in this room knows at least one company that's doing some cool shit. Drop it in my ear so I can potentially give them a spotlight. And that's it.
[1:01:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, pin the links. Okay? And whatever... Let me know, like, what, like, 5,000 square foot room or, like, a house me and Bill do get to stay in. Make sure it's gotta have a pool. Even though it's Denver, you know, maybe indoor pool, we prefer. Just as a chef, chef would be great. Obviously, that's convenient. You know? But, yeah, let us know. Let us know.
[1:02:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's pin pinned
[1:02:17] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: to the top. Respond to that, and I will send you all RSVP links to the snow covered Jacuzzi at the top of the mountain lodge that we have this mansion that was purchased by Shitcoins.
[1:02:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're gonna get there. There's gonna be, like, fire festival of baloney and cheese sandwiches for everybody. Oh. No. No. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
[1:02:38] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: I'm kidding.
[1:02:38] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Michelin star chef. What do you mean?
[1:02:40] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I'm kidding. You're burning man, bring your own tent, and just camp in
[1:02:44] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: the middle of nowhere. What do you mean that?
[1:02:46] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Bring your own bank. That's it. It's a BYOB thing.
[1:02:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Fema tents. That's all the rage now. FEMA tense. Okay. Good talk. Guys, in all seriousness, if y'all don't follow SPIV and you're planning on ever going to, like, some sort of in person event, do yourself a favor. This is the man you wanna get in touch with. You heard him just now. Any project, speaker, whatever, you name it. Connect people to other people, and it pays off for you. I promise you that. Okay? Like, Spiv... I I can't personally tell you, like, the kit... Like, Spiv is personally responsible for me making probably, like, 20% of my annual income in in the web three space just off the introductions that he's made for me. What value I bring to him, I still have yet. I don't know. You Perfect.
[1:03:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm figure it out too.
[1:03:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Me too. I hope he never figures it out, to be perfectly honest, and that we keep this going because it's very profitable. I love him for it. But, yeah, man, like, network with the right people, guys. For real. For real. You know what I mean? They're not good shits, but I'm looking forward to it. I just gotta make sure that I book my ticket. Knowing me, it'll be, like, the day before, be like, oh, I'm packed for eThenver but without a plane ticket. And don't lose those gains. Alright? Like, donkey donkey dick punch, whatever the fuck thing you bought. Like, just keep those gains, bro. Okay? And don't get I paid
[1:04:01] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: for it.
[1:04:01] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: I paid for the fucking log cabin, mansion, jacuzzi, snow, mountainside.
[1:04:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's all. I know. Amazing. Let's just keep that now. We wanna fucking throw it out.
[1:04:12] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: I really... Actually, low key. So here's a here's a carrot slash dangle
[1:04:18] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: bounty. If any of you can
[1:04:19] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: connect me to pump fun to Elon or someone on the team, I wanna throw the biggest fucking MemeCoin, shitcoin summit, and I want to make sure that everybody upon arrival gets their own token. So everybody in the room is tokenized, and whoever at the end of the event has the highest market cap is the winner of everybody's tokens. So I think that
[1:04:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: should god. Amazing.
[1:04:47] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: And that's much more exciting than, like, a Squid Games, Beast Games type thing. I think that shit would be fucking
[1:04:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, that's a me... It forces you to network. It's like, yo. You wanna
[1:04:57] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: win this game? Next level networking. Like, it's like, oh, I I I like you, Dave. Here. Take some of my token. You give me some of yours. Cool. Oh, shit. Dave's managed the network all the way to the top, and he's on stage now, and he's fucking breakdancing. What the fuck? Everyone's buying his token. But then there's Eric on the other side doing backflips on a trampoline, and they're filming it, and it's going viral. Oh, shit. Everyone's buying his token. You know? That, I think, would be fun.
[1:05:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Yo. If anybody in here has any connection, even second, third, Kevin Bacon, sixth degree connection, let us know. Put us in touch
[1:05:31] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: with person. They gotta liquidate. Like, we can include a charity nonprofit component to it, but, like... Yeah.
[1:05:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. That would be so much... That's a genius idea. I love that idea. That idea
[1:05:42] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: is absolutely brilliant. Excuse me. I just took a joke. Absolutely brilliant.
[1:05:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: I was disappointed because I was like,
[1:05:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: that's it.
[1:05:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's fucking great.
[1:05:51] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: I wasn't expecting to get up so quick. But clankers, you could literally... As they walk in on the door, you have to type it on the... On your timeline, and that's the launch. And then you could put the allocation over into your... Like, I I love the idea of, like, one group community thing and then the squid game aspect and stuff, but allocate into whatever wallet that you guys are kinda holding at that point and do it. It'd be really fun just to see it fucking as people walk in, you know when they arrived at the party, and then you see the ticker. Puts a whole new spin on being early. Right? That'd be... That's a brilliant idea. Cool. Love that.
[1:06:24] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: I'd... I do that with my events where people basically claim upon arrival. And then at the end of the event, once I can separate my profits from, like, overhead, I'd airdrop back to all of those wallets I claimed originally. And I think at the end of the day, like, the future of things is very much going in a direction of tokenized everything. It's happening slower than I expected, but it's definitely happening as you can see. And, when we... Like, not that everyone needs to walk around with the fucking QR code on their chest. Right? But at the end of the day, like, there's... Like, it... It's even why, like, service industry people get pissed that their tips get cut into by taxes. Right? If you could just tip them directly, with this alternative method because you know their their cash tag or handle or whatever it is, and it's just coming from earnings that you generated by being a repeat customer there, like, that's the future of ecosystem in a big way. Punch cards and reward systems that are, like, buy one, get one after you arrive 10 times, like, that's alright. But, like, the next level of that is definitely electronic and kind of, like, what you put in is once you get out.
[1:07:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Spiff, bro, why are we not doing a full space on this and try to get as many people... Like, let's run a space on this next week. Let's spend this next week, like, sourcing as many, like, potential, like, sponsors as we can, get as many in the room as we as we can, and let's just throw shit against the wall. Like, that idea, bro, that idea is genius. If it's not pump fun, bro, I... I'm a... I'll ask the Sun Pump team to do it. You know what I mean? Like like
[1:08:05] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: What what does... What... It's... I mean, it's basically an IRL pump fund. Right? But everybody is a a consumer and a creator, which is what's happening in the world anyways right now. There's a huge division of the two things. You're either a consumer or you're a creator. You've got a product or service to sell or you're working for a company that has one. And at the end of the day, our personal brands are what drive those things forward and backwards. And our personal brands, if big enough, can be larger than the service or product provided, which, like, an example would be like Kanye is bigger than the Yeezy and Ye and everything brand. Trump is bigger than a Republican brand. Elon is bigger than the SpaceX, Tesla, etcetera brand. If those names disappeared, those brands equity would go to dog shit. So at the end of the day, it's like... It's almost a little social climy yappy in a way that I don't like, but I can understand how it could be really cool for creating new concepts of discovery. And that's really what it is. Like, all of us are in these spaces learning, listening, watching, trying to find the next best thing till the next best thing doesn't exist or something that we can hold to Valhalla or till the end of time because it contributes some value to our lives. And, yeah, I I think I'd... Like, I wanna know about what's happening on the AI agent side as much as I do the real world asset and deep inside as much as I do the DeSci side as well as fucking portfolio management as well as, like, new blockchains and, like, you know, Monad has gotten quiet, but they're gonna be rolling out pretty loud and heavy. And just because it's like a Denver doesn't mean that there's not opportunities for... Or any other fucking blockchain or crypto related products. I think that's actually how you Trojan horse the whole thing. If you are, like, a big dick in the Bitcoin world, for lack of a better term, you shouldn't be swinging it out there and going viral because you're the only Bitcoin thing out there. So anyways...
[1:10:09] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I mean, this room happens, Dave, I just wanna put it out there. I think we should divide and conquer. You take the left side of the room. I take the right side of the room. When it's, like, coming up to the end, I'll run my token all into your token so we can secure the victory if it's a little bit quicker.
[1:10:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Listen. It's no different than any other day in crypto out here. Let's be serious. It'll just be one wallet transaction. You dumb? I buy. We're good. Let's go. We take all those proceeds. Spin the
[1:10:36] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: That'd an awesome fucking speed dating game too. It's it's like you, you enter the room and you have this amount of your token, and you gotta use it wisely. Because when you're out of the token, then you can't talk to anybody else, and you're kicked out of the place. But somebody's gonna have more than... Like, you know, how low do you gotta go to find your partner? That's it.
[1:10:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. It's lit... And we... Like, the real world component, we're just, like, seven... Like, 70,000 strangers picked to live at the East Denver, and now we're voting people off. This will be amazing. Bro, come on. This is... You guys hear this? Like, we're giving... This is gold right now. Social fi. Social fi. Yep. Shout out to, you know, buying your friends keys and tokens and sharing a group chat for 5 ETH. Let's go. Don't forget to subscribe to Eric's tribe link as well, which is probably not posted anywhere.
[1:11:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: Don't do that.
[1:11:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. No. No. Don't do that. Yeah. I take that back. Alpha Gamer, what's up?
[1:11:33] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Yo. Yo. Yo. Sup?
[1:11:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sup? Sup? Sup? What's good?
[1:11:38] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: You know, just spreading the word that, you know, Jerome Powell loves Bitcoin ordinals and rooms. And... Yeah.
[1:11:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm sorry. Expand a little bit, please. It's the one time I will tell you to expand because you showed up, like, an hour and forty minutes late, but it is what it is. But what what happened?
[1:11:54] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, you you... Oh, no. Oh, I thought you guys would
[1:11:57] Kool @koolcryptovc: have No.
[1:11:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: We didn't. Okay. So hit us with it. No need to shame me for it, but please.
[1:12:05] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So that's the reason why the markets have turned around and turned green and bullish. It's because chairman Powell of the Federal Reserve, said that Bitcoin is a safe asset and that the banks can safely custody it for you and that that they are not worried about We talked Bitcoin and crypto.
[1:12:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: We talked about that. I thought you meant something specific to orbals and ruins.
[1:12:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Gamer.
[1:12:33] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, you know, I just had to throw that in here
[1:12:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: and kick things off. Just embellish. This is a news program, bro. People rely on us for actual real news and stupid ideas as well and ridiculous fucking outlandish emotional claims that a lot of us make sometimes. But it is what it is, Gamer. But, no, I appreciate you. Gamer, what else did you come across your timeline today? And I'll tell you if we went over it or not. Anything? Anything of note? We didn't talk about Vine yet, by the way. Maybe this might not be the best time to talk about Vine. Vine is real. I saw Jack Dorsey also tweeted a ticker. I don't know if anybody have information on that. Cool. Did you see the Jack Dorsey launch? I... He... Like, the massive engagement on that tweet. I forgot what the the ticker was.
[1:13:19] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: XYZ.
[1:13:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: XYZ. You lost money on that one?
[1:13:23] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: It's it's XYZ. And... What's it called? And he is promoting his platform, Primal. And... No. I'm actually up on x y z, but I'm also not really trading shitcoins right now.
[1:13:36] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Okay.
[1:13:36] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: But I think it's interesting that Primal is what he is pushing, which I don't know if any of you have heard of Primal as a social platform.
[1:13:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nope. Nope. Wasn't it like Blue Sky or something like that? Is that what it was?
[1:13:49] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: It's Blue Sky, Mastodon, Truth, etcetera, etcetera. But Primal is basically Twitter with the financial side of being able to pay people and pay with that money from your social accounts. So think like Venmo as social media.
[1:14:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Banker bot?
[1:14:13] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: No. More like What? If your Instagram... If you could just log in to Instagram and it's the everything app and you can pay for your food and drinks and Ubers or whatever with it, that's essentially what Primal has created.
[1:14:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Essentially what Elon intends to create and is on the way to creating here?
[1:14:31] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Correct.
[1:14:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Got it. Okay. Okay. Jack versus Elon. You guys remember when we simulated a three round boxing match when Junie simulated that match between Elon and Zuckerberg? That's so much fun. We gotta we gotta go back to that. It's crazy. I mean, Zuck came out on top. Go figure. Even though Elon sat on him and called it to move the walrus. Anyways, shout out Elon. Guys, what else? Who else came across some crazy shit there on
[1:14:58] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: the time?
[1:14:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nothing on that one?
[1:14:59] Kool @koolcryptovc: You guys
[1:14:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: don't remember any of this? You suck. Cool. What did you come across in your... Anything else in your timeline? We got fifteen minutes left in the show. Anything of note that you came across in your timeline today that maybe noteworthy or that you wanna bring up?
[1:15:14] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: The Bank of Canada cut rates.
[1:15:17] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: Yay. Yeah. That's huge. I got a remortgage. Massive.
[1:15:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: That was the perfect reply.
[1:15:24] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Illinois is the next state to jump on to the Bitcoin reserve bandwagon.
[1:15:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: So that... How many states is that now, Gamer? Do we know? Is it, like, 16, 17?
[1:15:36] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: It's like, yeah, like, 16 or 17 states now. I mean, shit. Now we're getting close. You know, once we get to, you know, half, I mean, that's... You know, I would say that's the turning point. Right?
[1:15:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Do y'all... Like, I saw some of the numbers yesterday. Do y'all realize that there's only 5% or five... Or just under 6% of the total Bitcoin supply left to mine ever? I I generally don't think people actually understand, like, what is actually left out here. Almost 20,000,000 Bitcoin has been mined to date. 21,000,000. That's it. Stop. Full
[1:16:09] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: stop. So so when they passed the Bitcoin act of 2024, also known as the strategic Bitcoin reserve, You know, when you look into the details of that, they wanna buy a million Bitcoin, aka 5% of the total supply. You know? And you just said, you know, that's what's left in the supply. So, essentially, what America is saying is we wanna buy up the rest of the entire supply of Bitcoin and throw it into that reserve. So
[1:16:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's a big deal. Yep. It was also the Garlinghouse news today as well. And he... Or if that was yesterday, he came out and obviously said that he wants to... He doesn't believe, obviously, like, r l... Like, how they started r l u s d the whole nine, but there's gonna be multiple assets, right, multiple crypto assets in this reserve. And, essentially, that was... That's what he was championing for. That... And the Galactic Federation wanted to see at the table, but Landy said no. His response exactly was,
[1:17:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: wee.
[1:17:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. I just
[1:17:15] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: went and checked while while you were talking. My lender sent me the email at 01:15AM to re... Offer to renew my mortgage. And then what they announced today, it was bastards.
[1:17:30] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Got notifications on. It's on on on top.
[1:17:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: No, bro. He's saying they tried to front run that shit. Hey. Why don't you renew it this high? Long as long as you haven't signed it.
[1:17:39] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: That's like the
[1:17:40] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: As long as you haven't signed it, you're good.
[1:17:42] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: It's like the fire insurance that six months ago got canceled for everybody out here in California, and then, you know, here we are.
[1:17:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: What are y'all doing in that cesspool? Like, Spiv, Landy, get out. Bildo, get out.
[1:17:56] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: It's only one of the best places to live in The United States Of America.
[1:18:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is it so?
[1:18:01] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Where where are you at, Dave? Where are you at?
[1:18:03] Kool @koolcryptovc: In the eighties. Listen. Don't do that. Don't don't
[1:18:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: pull the the Trump Biden argument on me now. Okay?
[1:18:09] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: No. No. No.
[1:18:09] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: No. Where are you at? He's in I'm in New York. And he's in, like, the nineteen eighties. You know? I'm in Brooklyn.
[1:18:15] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. So the New York guy is trying to shit on California when New York had Yeah. So you're more regulated than we are.
[1:18:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Woah. Woah. Woah. Woah. I am not... I am the furthest thing talking about regulation, my friend. I am talking about normal human people, like, species of decency. Okay? Humans in California are insane. Bottom line.
[1:18:37] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Yeah. We have an insanely great quality of life. It's amazing. Like, we have to know... Look. Our weather is always wonderful. You know? Like, they're Exactly. It's pleasant.
[1:18:47] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. It's 54 degrees right now. Nice and sunny. How's that snow doing out there in
[1:18:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: New York? You're technically in the Bay Area, which I still hate, whatever. It is the...
[1:18:58] Kool @koolcryptovc: I do have a question, though. If if California was still great, man, why are people leaving and companies leaving more than it's ever done before.
[1:19:06] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, I I didn't know. Because they can't We didn't say
[1:19:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: that. I lived in San Diego for eight years, so I know. I lived in Cali for eight years.
[1:19:12] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I know. We didn't say the economy is doing great. We just said the weather is great.
[1:19:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you see? That's the argument. Yeah. I mean That's the hill he wants to die at.
[1:19:19] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Look. You either... You you... This is a cutthroat city. It will eat you up and spit you out. And if you can't hang, like, lose the summer and the floodgates. Know?
[1:19:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: But You're in East... You're in... And this motherfucker's a New Yorker, like, born and bred. Okay?
[1:19:33] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: But on the but on the other side of it, though, it's like, you know, you either make more and work harder and and and rise to the challenge or you sink and fall through the cracks. People used to be able to come out here on a thirty day to make it plan with a duffle bag and a dream, and they can't do that anymore. And the reason for that is social media and all these other outlets for actually, like, getting your bag. It's the diversification of business. Here we go.
[1:19:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Here we go. More excuses.
[1:19:59] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I saw
[1:20:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: I saw a video. Like, this is not recently. It was a doctor and a lawyer and they're looking for a house, And they were complaining how how they couldn't afford to buy a house in San Francisco. I'm like, if you're a lawyer and you're a doctor, bro, what the hell? So... No. Look. Okay. So Cali, man, probably the greatest weather you could ever have. But at the same time, to be honest with you, it's not for the average person, man. I think, you know, they've... You know, it's not California. It's really the people that... People in power in Cali that causing the friction. I mean, that... That's what I think. That's
[1:20:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: right. Yes. Yeah. That's exactly it. Dude, Trump had to go in... Yeah. Trump had to go in and and bring the national fucking guard to be like, give these people water, and it was done. Come on. And we're not gonna get technical. I just... I I get to have the last word because I'm the host. So we're gonna we're gonna dead this conversation because you do wanna go down this route. But, yes, you have Sun. Amazing. It was so great. I loved it for six years. I just wish the people were people. Aside from you, Spiv. Let me build up you people. Landy.
[1:21:04] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: What do mean you people?
[1:21:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: You heard that right. You said you people.
[1:21:09] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: Do you mean?
[1:21:09] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Out of here. What believe about you people?
[1:21:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, what the... Forget it. Landy, what else did you come across in your time line today? Anything else that we might have missed or that that you think we should cover? We got ten minutes left.
[1:21:23] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Texas. Yeah.
[1:21:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: The fucker. Are you, Landy? What the fuck? Big clam.
[1:21:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: And he gets a phone call nonetheless. Unbelievably rude.
[1:21:35] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, Silly. Did you see that Silly is on Phantom Wallet?
[1:21:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't you... You better... And now I know you're trolling me on purpose. Okay? So stop it before I'm gonna kick you down. You better stop it right now. Vibe, anything new in the far... Yo. I see forecasters trolling on Twitter, bro. Like, what are they doing? Like, is 3,000 comments a lot? I'm commenting on everything and anything, bro. Like, because I don't know. This is airdrop season.
[1:21:56] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: I am loving the forecaster intern. Whoever they put in there is is pretty funny and having some fun. Definitely click around over there. But if you're not, I think, you know, you're not touching the stuff, don't expect the airdrop because they can track it all. So get in there, bridge over to stuff, mint, like, something for $2. You can do a lot of stuff for, like, really, really cheap to get yourself eligible later on. Increase your on training score as much as you can. You probably can. You just need to press the button. Like, if you ever bought an ENS, that'll bump up your score, you gotta go press the button. So there's lots of things to be eligible for, but you have to go try. If you don't try, it will not happen. I promise you that.
[1:22:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. And, yo Oh. Viper has been... Real quick, gamer. Viper has been a fucking PR advertising machine for BankerBot, but, like, the most organic... Like, when you think UGC, like, that... Viper is the definition of user generated gold content, I I... I'd say. There's a reason why Vitale gave it a follow because it's like, that's interesting shit that people are like, wait a minute. What happened? What is... What... When you can grab attention like that, like, that... Like, that's amaze...
[1:23:03] Tulloch @MarkJTulloch: And it's been a good... Banker bot.... Easy?
[1:23:05] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: My invite...
[1:23:07] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Banker bot in an ATM.

That's all.
[1:23:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. What the fucking Ordinal show is going on right now? Leonie, now?
[1:23:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: Since when? It's 07:30?
[1:23:29] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: It's a late show. Yep.
[1:23:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, man.
[1:23:34] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, and by the way, Dave, I just wanted to let you know, you know, your boy, Gary Gensler, is teaching back at MIT on AI, of all things. No. You you guys wanted to brush up on your classes. You can, you know, go to MIT and learn AI from Gary Gensler himself.
[1:23:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know what would be amazing if Gensler, like, took a position, like, fucking president Emeritus of the blockchain, like, society of MIT and then was employed by, like... They brought him back to, Cardano or something. Was like, what the fuck?
[1:24:09] VIPERɳϝƚ🖍️📺 @VIPERnftMFER: Gary Gensort is a banker holder, by the way. I sort of Yeah. Found
[1:24:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: And fuck you guys for not pumping my Gary Gonzler bag when he fucking left office, but whatever. It is what it is. It helped me cope. What... Let me see if there's any other crypto stories real quick before we bounce.
[1:24:27] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: And did you see yesterday? I mean, I know you're not huge in XRP, but you talked about Brad. They did a whole XRP community day yesterday where Oh, yeah. House was speaking on it for about a half an hour. Then later on in the day, David Schwartz came on and spoke for quite some time, and then they had a whole plethora of different people building. So a lot of lot of exciting stuff coming to XRPL. I'm pretty excited about that.
[1:24:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I gotta position myself, right, with this. I'm I'm very ill equipped and ill prepared for anything going on right now. So we gotta figure this out. Maybe when we have the space with Shen, like, he's like, yo. This is gonna be a good one. Yeah. Like, AI agents on XRP so that we can just set it and forget it type of deal. Any new meme coin that's being launched, snipe that shit for $510, do a million of... Like, yeah.
[1:25:17] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: DeFi plays, staking plays, like, it's all coming, and it's all coming very quickly. So it'd be cool to see it all play out, but I think there'll be a lot of opportunity if that's a market that you so choose to be involved in.
[1:25:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hell, yeah. Yo, Spiv. I saw Sonium did a space this morning. There's, like, 30 people in there. I'm like, what the fuck? Like, didn't they they launched, like, a new campaign or something? No? Like, like, start really onboarding into their blockchain?
[1:25:45] MOTIVATE  📲 Available for Consulting & Marketing @EricSpivak: Yeah. They're gonna be active at a bunch of events. I don't know who they hired for marketing and why they hired them because I'm hearing about how much they're spending on these events, and I know the ROI is not gonna be there. So... Yeah. They they got a TGE happening in a couple months, ECC time frame, I wanna say. But... Yeah. I don't know. Just for anybody that's a founder or potentially marketer or handling budgets, like, events are a very bad ROI if you are not getting the data of all of your attendees, and that means first name, last name, email, phone number, and wallet address. And, also, make sure that people are following, liking, and retweeting some form of pinned post or call to action upon arrival or departure, even if you need to incentivize them with something from a towel to a shirt to a sticker pack to a pen to a fucking airdrop white list, whatever the fuck it is. Like, create a call to action. The most basic parts of marketing and promotions and advertising at these events gets missed, and it just pisses me off because I'm just watching money on fire. IRL. It's one thing to see it digitally when I can't hold someone accountable because they're doing pump funds. But with IRL, that shit hurts.
[1:27:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: But listen. Maybe we should be selling everything because Jim Kramer said yesterday, Bitcoin is a great thing to add to your portfolio. Oh, for fuck's sake, Jim.
[1:27:15] Kool @koolcryptovc: Maybe we... Yeah. I I really hate that guy, man. I swear. I really read... I despise that dude, man. I swear.
[1:27:20] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: For real.
[1:27:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. You never hear CoolSay. He hates anybody. Like, for him to say that. Other notable headlines we saw, Coinbase got approval to launch in Argentina. Right? So Latin American market is obviously fucking huge. So Coinbase now launching officially... Got approval to launch their exchange in Argentina. The French investigators launch money laundering investigation into Binance. What is it with France? What is going on? Are the French that hard up for... They must be broke as shit. The French must be broke as hell because detaining this one, that one, they're literally going after every big fish out here. Money laundering investigation. Why would you launder money, like, through France? I mean, when you could genulate... Like, they... When Binance has been doing it, like, in every other method with every other island in existence. I don't get it.
[1:28:11] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, here we go. This this will be good. So, Dave, do you heard it... Did you hear about the Tesla earnings?
[1:28:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't hear Tesla earnings, but I saw that Tesla didn't sell or something like that. They still hold their 1,200,000,000 in Bitcoin?
[1:28:25] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Well, yeah, that was a a separate thing. So, yeah, Elon came out and said that... Yeah. Because, you know, they were accusing him of selling Bitcoin. So it can't... It got disclosed that, no, they have sold no Bitcoin in that quarter. So that, you know, that FUD basically has been debunked. Right? All the all the trolls, they were like, oh, you sold your Bitcoin. He didn't sell any of it. But the... But there was actually a one other thing that that for me was more important than that was also the... Remember remember, like, last month when I was talking about the FASB accounting rules changing and that that it was gonna be a big thing and no one's talking about it? Do you know that, Dave?
[1:29:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yep. Yep. Yep.
[1:29:08] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So I just posted up top here. Tesla revalues its Bitcoin holdings under the new accounting rules, $600,000,000 gain in quarter four. Tesla's stock jumps today. So that's basically what I called out. Like, I basically said that, hey. Pay attention to all these companies that are buying Bitcoin because under the old... You know, the choke point, you know, they basically were, like, reporting it as, like, like, damn near a loss. It was a loss, right, on their books. So that includes MicroStrategy, you know, Similar Scientific, MetaPlanet, you know, all those companies that are putting Bitcoin on their balance sheet. So the... Those FASB rules got changed because of Michael Saylor. Right? He he basically was the one who pushed them to to update those accounting rules, And that took effect this... I think it was, like, this... It was the end of the year. Was, like, December 25 or whatever. So now, right, you're gonna see in the... In this this first quarter, this is gonna happen. Right? Where... Don't be surprised when you start seeing it, you know, these Bitcoin companies hitting the news where they're like, oh my god. You know, $500,000,000 in profits and gains. Why? Because they were holding Bitcoin. And under the new accounting rules, it's held at fair value and not... It's just a way of how they do accounting. Right? And so it's at fair value now. So that's where this massive profit gain... You know, like it says right here, 600,000,000. You know? That was because of their Bitcoin holdings.
[1:30:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Guys, it's up. Thank you, Gamer. This is the story I'm gonna close with, but you guys know Cool's already starting his stream. So make sure that you go, to log in over there. Listen to the... I'm gonna close with this story. Woman pleads guilty in The UK's first ever cyber farting case.
