The hosts and guests kicked off the week discussing a wide range of crypto topics amid a nasty market drawdown. They shared their excitement over the highly engaging LunarCrush Android NFT mint on Stacks, which featured clever multi-level burn mechanics that drove massive participation and community interaction. The group dissected the massive Bybit hack, praising CEO Ben Zhou’s transparent and courageous crisis management while expressing concerns about security practices and potential regulatory fallout given North Korea’s alleged involvement. Conversation turned to Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy’s continued aggressive Bitcoin accumulation, the centralization debate, and whether the classic four-year cycle still applies. They also covered Solana’s struggles tied to Pump.fun fatigue, meme coin losses, mental health issues in crypto, and the controversial idea of chain rollbacks. Additional topics included SEC dropping major lawsuits, onboarding responsibilities, Pump.fun launching its own AMM, the Ye token drama, and wild speculation about whether Fort Knox still holds gold. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:00:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Zero [0:00:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: hours. 9AM. What up, B? [0:01:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: Give me more intro. [0:01:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: What up, LJ? What up, Riding? Jonah. Cole was good. [0:03:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sup, guys? Happy Monday. What is good? Welcome to our first episode of ATC for the week. We are gonna have a little bit of a different schedule this week because of East Denver and whatnot, but man, oh, man, oh, man, there is no shortage of shit for us to talk about. That is the damn show. Yeah. There's been just so much going on. There's been hacks over the weekend. We don't know if there's gold in Fort Knox. Yay. Sold. He didn't sell. He made 17,000,000. He didn't make 17,000,000. Yeah. We don't know. But what's good, everybody? LGICUD was good. Riot, what up? Shout out to the on time and podcast crew. What's cooking? Sorry about this earlier today. We weren't able to do crypto magic hour. Had a little... I mean, I'm running around like crazy. I gotta get ready for Ethan, bro. I'm flying out tomorrow, but we got you guys tonight, man. So let's make the most of it. Cool crypto. What is good, my bro? [0:04:35] Kool @koolcryptovc: Hey. What's up, bro? Happy New Week. Happy Monday. What's up,? Hope you guys doing okay. Let's go. I'm ready to talk. Let's go. Let's go. I'm ready. [0:04:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, baby. Landy, what's good, my bro? Long time no speak. [0:04:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's been a little while. You know, it's all weekend. Didn't talk... Oh, wait. That's right. We talked over Sunday and a little bit earlier today, and we talked about minting rockets and wormholes and helmets and all kinds of fun stuff. Look. There's been so much that's happened, since we last spoke even on Sunday. It's kinda crazy. But, yeah, I'm I'm ready to get this show on the road. We've got quite a few things likely to get through. [0:05:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, there... There's no shortage of shit that... Since we spoke over the weekend. But I just say real quick, like, for anybody that's listening now, like, this mint was fucking so much fun. Cool. We... We've been minting, like like, bro, 24,000 NFTs minted out on stacks in in a day today so far. 24,000. I I I kid you not, bro. The mechanics of this were just so freaking cool. The mint was, like, point one SDX. Right? And there was four different variants, and you had to then... To get to level... And mind you, this happened, like, two years ago when they started this mint, but they re... Like, they restarted it again now with, like like, post Nakamoto. And it's the guy... It's Joe Vez, the guy who start... The guy... The founder of LunarCrush. And, bro, these guys are sending 2 Bitcoin literally to the, like, to the rover on Mars. It... It's cray... It's such a crazy story, but, like, there's three levels to it. So you get the first four, then you have to burn the first four to get to, like, one of the next level twos, and there's three different level twos. So it's like a constant, like, buy then burn mechanism, and then you ultimately have to burn three of your level twos to get, like, one Android. It's... But, bro, at point one STX, it was, like, 10¢ a mint, you know, with the STX price. So it made it so, like, people were just mass minting. You can only mint two at a clip. People were mass minting everything today, and it was so much fucking fun. Like, it was insane. Landy, how much... Bro, I had so much fun doing this. Now I'm like, oh, shit. I'm sure a couple of wormholes. I'm like, I don't know what I need to do. I got, like, nine Androids, right, all in all in the end. But, like, tell me this was a hell of fun, bro. [0:06:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It was a lot of fun. And because of the way that the mechanics play out in terms of the supply... Starting supply for the first, mint, being 24,000, and then you have to burn those four to mint the other one that was 6,000, and then you burn those to mint the ones that are 2,000. So all the math works out. All of the 24,000 eventually will, in theory, be burned out to mint out the 2,000, the final 2,000 collection. And, that, of course, after it mints... You know, minted fairly quickly today. You know, I had a lot of fun with that. And then it becomes negotiating for the pieces that you don't have so that, you know, everyone's trying to negotiate to get the other pieces to... Of the first tier to to then burn out into the second tier to burn out into the final NFT. And it's a really smart thing because, you know, yeah, people do OTC behind the scenes or just trade with each other, maybe even for free at this point. Who knows? Who cares? But, eventually, people will start listing the other tiers on the marketplace, and then people will start sweeping. That encourages the floor to get swept up because these are gonna be burned in order to meet the final product. And then there's something mysterious coming with that final NFT that we're not quite sure of. Everybody's trying to figure it out. But it... It's a really... It's really cool mechanics, that encourages, the floor of the NFTs to be picked up and and allows for people to make some money in the long run. As as, you know, there's only a few groups here and there that are doing, like, OTC or trading back and forth anyway. The rest are just gonna end up listed on Gamma. And then people will sweep it, burn it, mint out the final product. Right? That is a brilliant way to do things. We've seen it done before. It's been successful before. That kind of stuff needs to make a comeback because it's gamification of the minting process that has legitimate reward on the other side. So I'm a big, big, big fan of this. [0:09:08] DefiDictator.btc🔺 @iam_Dictvtor: I swept [0:09:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: And it was fun. [0:09:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: I swept the helmets. I just swept some wormholes. All in all, I maybe spent, like, I don't know, 30, 40 stacks, but I had a fucking... It was, like, a blast doing this whole thing, and now, like, the chat's going crazy. And and Joe said today, I'm behind the stacks. Like, he wants the community to be involved in a part of, like, how we actually give these Androids utility in the future. So it's gonna be super, super cool. And I'm not expecting anything out of it. Right? Like, it's like, I'm just trying to build an Android army, have fun while doing it, and, like, just have a good time. You know what I mean? Like, it's just hella fun. So... Yeah. And, Landy, how many Androids do you have to? [0:09:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: Publicly, four, I think. And then... Yeah. And then I got quite a few. I think I'm giving Rubes a run for his money on Androids because I I managed to, get very lucky. Because as as things were minting out, you know, I was there pretty early in the mint. And then as the mint, was progressing, I started to get, the ones that I needed. So I no longer needed to trade, and I started to get the ones that I needed that were minting. And then I got really lucky for, like, 10 or 12 in a row where I bur... I I burned the NFTs and got, like, each one after another of the tier two so that I could just go straight to Androids without having to mess around. So it's it's a really cool mechanic. I I enjoyed it. It was an enjoyable process. It was fast. The only time that we had problems were when everybody was rushing it all at once, and it was just for maybe ten, fifteen seconds and then resubmit it. It was good to go. And then, of course, everybody was trying to slam on it at the end of the mint of the first phase and, of course, got a whole bunch of failed transactions as it should be. So, yeah, I I was I was impressed with the network. I was impressed with, you know, the mint mechanics, And I... It was nice to see the community have something fun to to do, especially in the middle of, like, this really freaking nasty drawdown today. [0:11:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It's been, it's been a little tough. But, yeah, DeFi Dictator came up. What's up, man? [0:11:18] DefiDictator.btc🔺 @iam_Dictvtor: Yo. GM GM Dave, CoolCrypto, Landy, triple monkey, GM GM to you guys. And I really enjoyed minting this lunar crush. Bro, the the mechanics is unique, and I didn't I didn't know any minting NFTs could be this fun. So this level one and level two NFTs... I mean... Sorry. Level one NFTs are minted out. So right now, the the level one and two are, like, collectible cards, and people will start trading them. 100. People will start trading them. So right now, I need, like, I need, like, two rockets. I need, like, two rockets. I'm two rockets away from getting two androids. So please, please, I have I have a level two map and a level two orb. So if you wanna trade, I'm down. So thanks for the spotlight, Dave. I I really I really enjoyed it, to be honest. Yeah, man. You got it, dude. [0:12:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: It was so much fucking fun, man. And as far as rockets, let see me what I have in my little inventory over here. I got maps up to Wazoo, but, I only got, like, three rockets and three orbs. But we could do something, bro. We could do something. Let me in the DMs, let's figure something out. I got you. So you can start them into your Androids. Yeah, man. Crazy ass weekend. You... And for anybody that missed the reset yesterday, we kinda went over a lot of this stuff, but we didn't get a chance to really kinda, like, dive a little bit deeper into this. We got a lot to chat about. Cool. First thing, obviously, like, the big ass, like, the the Bybit hack that happened over the weekend was absolutely wild, but we were in that space. Tell me what you thought because I was, like, sitting right next to you, like, in that space when I was looking when we heard Ben talking, man. Me that wasn't a master class in crisis management, bro. Like, we sat... I mean, I sat, like, the whole time. Was throwing emojis. I was hype, bro. [0:13:26] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. No. No. It was it was crazy. Of course. Crazy crazy weekend. Crazy. Never never never boring time in crypto, man. No. It it was... No. You're right, man. The the... Ben, the founder of, he he handled everything well, man. I I would think that they they either they bought back all the ether. They're buying it back. But... Yeah. So the hack, I'm sure a lot of you know, the biggest hack in crypto history, I guess, from an exchange over... I I think $11,500,000,000 was stolen by the group from not... North Korea. But I I guess my my only problem is, if I was with you, is this is not a good look, man. It's not a good look because you... We finally have the US government on our side. This is one thing they do not like. They do not like to have, you know, they they... I guess, their worst enemy in North Korea funding their nuclear program through through crypto, which they finally embrace. And so, I mean, fortunately, I haven't really seen too much negative stuff from the government about this news, I guess, But we'll find out. But like I said, I think imagine if this happened under the Biden Biden Harris administration. It is... It might be game over, guys. I mean, but but lucky for us, it happened under Trump, so, hopefully, it's not that bad. But my only my only beef is how does an exchange that handles that much money... How could you... You guys not have the top a, top top notch tier one security, man? I don't get it. I I don't understand it. That's my only beef with that, but that's it for me. [0:15:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I don't think it was a... Bro, I generally don't think it was a security flaw. Well, they... They're still, like, obviously looking through it, like, between, like, the laptops and everything else. But what I think it was is I think what happened... I think what Ben said was, or what I saw... What I read was they showed... Like, it showed up, like like... Yeah. He kinda almost blind... Like, he blindsigned the... Like, a a transaction, but it showed up like it was, like, another, like, regular transfer. You know what I mean? So, like, I think it was, like, they just cracked the UI and made it seem like, oh, this is just, another normal transaction. And then boom. Done and done. And they're moving massive money. If you heard him talking on that space, from that point on, was like, okay. He now lost 1,400,000,000 in East. Then he had to call up safe and be like, yo. What's up with my 3,000,000,000 in state? Like, then he saw a massive run. He kept the withdrawals open. He didn't close off the withdrawals. Saw a massive run, and people were just withdrawing. It was mostly stables that they were withdrawing, he said. So we had to move his... He had 3,000,000,000 in stables that he and his and his security team had essentially, like, a proprietary, like, a mechanism that that they actually built their own internal system to be able to move it, like, directly on chain without having to use somebody else's, like, inference or, like, UI, which I thought was super interesting. And I was like, you didn't send test... And and ran asked me, you didn't send test transaction. He said, nope. Imagine sending 3,000,000,000 in stables in USDT after you just got hacked in one shot with no test transaction with a new system. Holy shit. I mean, if this dude Ben doesn't have balls of steel, I don't know who the hell does. But, Landy, chime in on this, bro. What'd you make of this whole situation? [0:16:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: Look. I think after hearing about the manner and the mechanism of attack and then the way in which, you know, he's essentially tricked into signing. Obviously, there needs to be more to that process. Right? Now they know, hey. We we can't do this. We... You're entrusting a platform UI to keep you, secure when that, then you become the single point of failure, and there's no check on it. Right? There was no no real check. And if there was checks, then then, you know, they have to do a security audit and review. But we are gonna see more and more of this. Okay? We're we're gonna see way more of this style of attack. This is the style of attack that, Lazarus Group has been testing out for many, many years, and has been very, very successful. Not to this degree, obviously, but, they've been very successful over the years perpetuating these style of attacks. And, it's actually called a Musk attack, which is funny because Elon Musk, everybody thought it was like a jab at Elon. It's not. They they completely cloned everything right down to the... And this is where I think that there... Hey. It has to be a really thorough investigation because they cloned everything right down to the security certificates for the actual website UI, which is very, very interesting, because that is very difficult to do, you know, unless you're reverse engineering literally everything, or you have some sort of backdoor, or you have someone that is trusted within an organization that is, given up the goods. It's very... They're gonna have to do a full security review and audit. Obviously, that's gonna happen, and investigation, all that stuff, but we're gonna see more and more of this. This is likely gonna scare off the big guys and and make them review their entire security processes. But for smaller platforms and DAOs and DEXs and custodians and and DeFi, I think that, that's their next move is to move right back to that kind of stuff. You know, they'll probably let this cool down for a little while. They probably already have, like, 10 or 15 more that they're gonna put into the works here shortly. And, you know, I I don't... You know, they... A lot has been made of the potential one attacker, one one, brain behind a lot of this. But to understand these types of groups, you have to understand that their networks are are much bigger than themselves, And a core group is a... A core group is not a network... Is not necessarily the network. The network in its totality has a lot of tentacles everywhere. And, yeah, I I I do commend him in the way that he handled the situation. I don't think, I don't think many would have had the balls of steel to keep withdrawals open, and he did. And that's freaking baller. So, you know, that does build trust. And I think that's kind of the first thing is, like, when you have an attack like this, you know, you go through the remediation prod... You you you, you you take measures to prevent or stop the the ongoing attack, and then you take measures through me... Remediation and customer service. I thought it was well done. So Yeah. I will commend him on that. [0:20:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, man. Super, super well executed. And I know we've kinda... I'm sure you guys have probably talked about this, and everybody here listening has probably heard, like, through it all. But I pinned up, like, literally, like, the step by step breakdown, and I thought Rand did an amazing job of, like, walking, holding his hand, and, like, walking us through, like, the situation room kinda deal. You know what I mean? Like, what happened here? Where were your people? Like, when did you gather? What time? What was going through your head? And, like, he was super candid about everything, which I thought was really just, like, insane. It was just incredibly amazing. Yeah, man. And and shout out to that, like, that whole team. I know that I went, and I was like, let me go open up a Vibbit account because, like, I'm not saying anybody needs to, but, you know, this shows to me a lot. These guys got massive money. And look. It brought the crypt... A lot of the crypto industry together. You saw Big Cat. You saw Gracie. You saw the Big Cat CEO. Just be like, alright. Here you go. Boom. 40,000 each sent right over. Like, not even a question. No collateral. No nothing. Like, think about that for a second. If, like, for that to happen anywhere, if that was to happen to what actual bank and there was a run on a bank, good luck. You're not gonna be able to, a, touch your money forever. There's gonna be a team assigned to it, an investigation open, and good luck. Right? It's almost like... Remember when XRP was like, oh, we're not gonna allow XRP to trade here, and it was like, done. Good luck trying to get your money off of Coinbase now. It was like, everything was locked for years. It was a mess. So massive com... Like, I I really, really commend Ben forty did. A lot more stories to get through, so let's go through a bunch. So next one, we're gonna get to, like, some pump fun stories, the yay, the Fort Knox, but Michael Saylor buys another $2,000,000,000 in Bitcoin. He's not... Now it's over... The... I mean, he's creeping up on 500,000 now. Guys, is this is this good? Like, do we want this? Like, this is getting a little crazy now. Almost 500,000 Bitcoin. Now you put 2,000,000,000 into Bitcoin. Cool. Are you liking these moves, like, micro... Like, with MicroStrategy here? And, like, is this gonna continue? And what are we gonna do? [0:22:25] Kool @koolcryptovc: Nah. Nah. He he already he already said it's not gonna stop. Right? So, I mean, I'm pretty sure. I think they... Because they they they they truly believe the price of Bitcoin is going to $14,000,000. So if you're buying it, if you... Because I saw... He actually... He talked about this, like, a couple weeks ago. If you believe Bitcoin is doing a 10 x from here and you're buying a a... You're buying a 90 k, I mean, you you you believe you're you're you're you're you're in early. I... Like I said, there's nothing we could do. You... We have no control on on what he does with his money or but... And I think the the beauty that he does is, which I'm not... I'm a little bit worried about a bit is is Bitcoin centralized now, right, basically? I mean, is it is it... I mean, I don't think so, of course, but, you know, this is this is just the the people we see. We have all the rap countries, man, buying this stuff. It's just the the the stuff, but we we won't hear about that stuff. But I don't know. I I... What do you what do you think, bro? You think you think this shit is centralized now or getting to that point? What do think? [0:23:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's scaring me a little bit, bro, because, like like, it's one thing. Like, we wanted the institutional buy in, but, like, yeah, we got to a 100 k, got to a 107 k, and we were like, woo. Now we're down to, like, night... Microsoft buys 2,000,000,000, and we're dumping down to 92 k. So now it's like, is it retail, like, really emptying their bags? Or, like like, are people really just... Like, why are they not... Like, I mean, I'm trying to make sense of [0:23:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: this market. No There's no retail there's no retail in there right now. There's no [0:23:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's what [0:23:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean. [0:23:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: Have you have you... What? Come on, man. But but you but you know what happens. Right? It's all leveraged. You know, people are overleveraged. People are still excited, and the big money bags, they see... They could see liquidation points. And they wanna buy lower, they'll bring this shit back down. It's that simple. We... Is low volumes. It's easier to move to move the crypto market down or up whenever the volumes are low. And right now, like I said before, I've been saying this... Remember, I've saying this for, like, six, seven months now. US citizens are broke as fuck. Like, the average American is broke. I'm not talking about crypto people. Crypto people get it. They understand inflation. They could buy assets and hold it for three, four years. Yes. The average American... I'm I'm speaking about America because this country has all the money. This is where we we want we want them to adulth crypto, but the average American does not... Is is not buying big... Bitcoin right now or buying ETH right now. They don't have the money too. So in this environment, it's easy to get... To push the market down 100%. [0:25:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Lindy, where you... Where where are you sitting on this? [0:25:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: I would push back on the centralization of Bitcoin. Now if you're talking... Because there's two different... I I think we do have to be specific when we're talking about Bitcoin because the network... Although there are centralization risks to the network, owning Bitcoin does not give you control over the network. Right? It gives you outsized control potentially over price if you are holding that much and you are then letting it go. But, you know, it... What it does is it it is it concentrates Bitcoin with institutions. And and this is going to be a depressing take for me. A lot of people think that I'm, like, being a jerk when I say this. You know, after last cycle, in the way that retail was drawn in and then destroyed in these markets, by institutions, by politicians, by celebrities, you know, all sponsored at the behest of, you know, what the Biden administration and and their cronies wanted, was to essentially chokepoint Bitcoin, not once but twice. Right? And the purpose of that was to get retail away from this stuff so that the institutional players could sweep it all up during the bear market. Right? And then continue to sweep it up and keep them away to repackage and sell these products to people. And we are now at that inflection point where this is it it... This is actually the way things are going. And that's... It depresses me to say this. But most crypto, you know, for the top tier cryptos, your Bitcoins, Ethereums, and Solanas, and everything else of the world, Even though I know there's arguments that Solana is dead and all of sudden, it's not going away. It'll be around. There's too many VCs in Solana to let it die. It's not gonna die. There's plenty of shit being built there. Ethereum's not gonna die. There's plenty of shit being built there. Now we will get into some funny shit about it in comparison to, Bitcoin and and how, we'll talk about rollbacks a little bit maybe here later. But the biggest thing is is, the network is sufficiently decentralized. It will continue to get more decentralized just because of the mechanics of the way that the network works and how, how centralizing, mining and hash rate is just becomes untenable over time for larger entities. It must be distributed. And... But when you're talking about Bitcoin being swept up by the likes of Sailor, the likes of the the asset under management companies into their ETFs, potentially the US government and other governments, states, cities, you know, and other institutions and mom and pops and so on and so forth. You know, a lot of that is... A lot of Bitcoin's gonna be concentrated with high net worth individuals. And above that, it's gonna be corporations and and then government. And, the rest is gonna be productized and sold to the masses. I don't think anybody's prepared for when the Fed actually, you know, when the banks that make up the Fed actually start getting into crypto in general and Bitcoin and specifically is they're gonna try to attract the rest because they'll have the ability to give you, that FDIC insurance on the other side. So bring your Bitcoin, bring your Ethereum, bring your other coins to us. We can hold them as assets, and we can give you, you know, 50% LTV over here. If you wanna give up custody, we'll even find yield mechanisms to bring your interest rates down if you wanna take a loan on it. Or if you wanna do a multi loan and have some custody of it, you could do that. These products are being developed, and they've been in the works for a while. It was just that the environment for regulatory was not there. Now it is. And all of a sudden, you know, now they're friendly. This makes me sad because that wasn't the the ethos that I that I was fighting for from the very beginning, when I got into crypto way, way, way back, and and even I consider myself a little late, in 2011 because I didn't know what it was prior to that. I just wasn't interested until around 2011. So I think that Sailor's got a decent flywheel, though, and people are gonna try to emulate what he's doing. So, you know, I'm not I'm not that concerned about, the potential, risks in him controlling it because the people that he is borrowing the money from, having those convertible bonds is the way that they're gonna go in bear periods anyway. So they're just gonna suck up all of the the shares of strategy or strategy b as many like to call it now. And it's gonna be, you know, an advantageous trade for those who are are are giving him the money now. Doesn't matter what price he's buying either. [0:30:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I don't know, man. It... Yeah. It's gonna be the... It's gonna be really interesting to see how this whole plays out. But, like, I'll tell you this much. Right? Like, I don't have doubt in where things are going. Right? And I'm not trying to get involved in the day to day, but, like, I'm... I I am asking myself, like, does this change the dynamics of, like, you know, like, the technicals... Oh my god. I can't remember to say this. The technicals of, like, you know, post Bitcoin having, like, charts. Right? Because that's one of the biggest things that I was looking at because, you know, the previous three halvings was pretty... Like, this is it. Like... You know? And it was following the same thing, but now this game has changed a little bit. No cool? [0:31:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: So so you're you're asking if, basically, if the four year cycle is dead. That's that's your Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You'd be asking. No. But, bro, nobody knows, man. We've never we've never been here before. This is the first time ever we've had this kind of demand on an asset that's this... Still this small with still a lot more adoption left. So we've never been here before, man, and you just... I don't know. I mean, nobody knows where we're going. We... I have no fucking clue because Bitcoin's at 92 k, and everybody's scared out of your fucking minds, man. People are still bearish right now, which is crazy. So I don't know, man. [0:31:35] Voice E: I don't just in the range too. [0:31:38] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's it's... Yeah. It's in the range. Like I said, we we we won't... We we we we were just here. We were just here recently. Like, I don't I don't... It's so weird. And I think the reason why people are like this because they probably hold too many altcoins or don't have USDC or they just want to be risked tomorrow. They can't wait long term. And I I... Right now, I looked at chart down. I just switched back. Like, bro, I'm too tired. I'm too tired. I'm driving traffic. It's nice, sunny. Guys, just real quick, man. Did you guys see that video? I don't I I don't know. Don't know if y'all talk about this shit. It was very depressing that I saw at the point on... You know you know what I'm talking about? The guy that that that company is just like Right? [0:32:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: The pump fund guy on the on the livestream? Yeah. That's crazy. [0:32:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. The 23 year old. Yeah, guys. Please be safe out there, man. It's not that serious, guys. I mean... And I think... I don't know. We we try our best to talk about this shit, but I just believe that I I love crypto. By the same time, it's it's not for everyone, man. It's not like... There's a reason why, you know, playing playing in the casinos regulated. Like, for crypto's $24.07, and people are very unstable here, and we we don't know them. And I... It's just it's just crazy. I'm like, yo. Yo. Like, 23. 23. Wow. Well, yeah, man. Just be safe out there, guys. Crazy. [0:33:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: And the d... And the Djens literally launched the token after... Like, they launched multiple tokens after the the serious. [0:33:07] Kool @koolcryptovc: I shit you not cool. I can't... [0:33:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, I cannot make that shit up, bro. Wow. I can't. Yeah, man. That's how crazy this shit is out here, dude. Like, it's sad. It really, really is sad that, like, where is the line? You know what I mean? Like, where where is the line? Like, I I I don't... People don't have one. You know what I mean? They genuinely do not have one, and that's the sad part. There is no line. Like, I don't know where the line is gonna be drawn, but it's fucking crazy, dude. It's absolutely nuts. Yeah. I mean, look... So let let... Let's kinda, like, tail that in. I mean, we could do a whole episode on mental health, bro. And I think, like, I was actually talking to to magic... Viva magic today, and we're gonna do a whole mental health episode, on Crypto Magic Hour in a couple weeks, because we planned out the month. But, yeah, man, guys, like, you gotta keep your wits about you at the end of the day. Right? Like, this... It's it's unforgiving out here. It really is. And it's not even just it's not even just crypto. It's Twitter as well, bro. Like, it's crypto Twitter. Like... And it's called that for a reason, and it's unrelenting. And I'll tell you this one. I went through so... Bro, my first two... Bro, my first two years, I... My first year was like, oh my god. This is the best thing ever. I made so much money. I was chilling. It was great. No problems. Bear market hits, that's when you get people that come out and you see the ugly, the real ugly inside of a lot of people in the timeline. Because when people are down bad, they don't wanna blame themselves. They don't wanna look in the mirror and say, this was my fault. Right? Like, I did this to me. They always are looking to find somebody else, like, to blame. And maybe we do need to tackle this, right, like, on a full episode of, like, ATC of, like, how do... I know we did it a couple of times, but, like, maybe we... Like, now is probably, like, the, like, the best time to be able to get, you know, everybody in their minds right to be like, look. Like, it's one thing to de gen on meme coins and meme tokens, but goddamn, man. Like like, there has to be a line. You know what I mean? There has to be. But let... Let's kinda segue that now, like, into, like, what we're seeing, like, with pump funds, Solana down bad. Solana down to a $142. Pump fund revenue's down almost 40% just in the last, like, three, four days. What's the deal? Solana founders yet, like, roll back the chain on Ethereum. It's a joke, bro. You're losing your mind out there. [0:35:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: I'm gonna see... I'll I'll get invited to to Landy. He could talk about the the chain rollback. But I thought it was funny, though, just seeing the max ease, and it's always entertaining to to to watch them go back and forth. Solana, so I said this before. Your your blockchain can't be unknown only for me coins. That you need to be diverse, AI, NFTs, [0:35:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: RWAs,. Like, you you need to be diverse in your sector. You you just can't be known for meme coins only, miss. So when whenever people people are mad, people are committing suicide now, people losing money. They have... Their their favorite influencers are rocking them. Celebrities are rocking them. They're tired, man. They just leave, man. More money more money is being lost on PondFund than being made, so people are leaving. People are mad. And that's... That that affects the revenue and the sentiment of Solana. I'm not saying Solana is going anywhere, but it it... They have an image from them. And then it doesn't help when you have the founders of Solana talking smack online, you know, when you have people coming to suicide on your chain, man. But, yeah, man, it's a it's it's a it's a crazy time, man. I think, seriously, the the way I've I've been able to deal with the constant craziness in crypto is I do spaces. I do TV show. Sorry. TV show. I do live streams. I I, you know, I make content. I'm... I, you know, work with projects. Find a way to keep yourself busy because this space is very difficult to to stay here for a long time because it is mentally draining because of... There's so much shit going on in in in Twitter, but crypto Twitter is nasty. Solana Solana is is taking a a beating right now because of the meme coin stuff has basically just just... People lost so much money, man, and they they take things out of Solana. And plus, HongFun, you know, was done... Was a way for Solana to to to to to build this revenue and and to and to build out the name for itself. And when Pompong goes down, Solana is gonna go down. So for him, man, Solana's gonna be a four hour, but he need to change the image. We gotta find a way to build up something else other than than just main points only. Your chain is... I mean, look at Mantra. Mantra is an RWA project. Took years to build. You know, they they have a thriving ecosystem ecosystem now. Everybody's... Is is on the the. But you don't hear nothing negative about that because they built it. But that's what that's what you want. When you want the change to be known for something positive, not people coming to suicide on your on your fucking chain, man. It's crazy. [0:38:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mantra just crossed 15,000,000,000 in FTV yesterday, man, and it's still creeping higher, bro. So, yeah, I second everything that Cole just said. 15,000,000,000 FTV, bro. It's creeping back up to $10. It's wild. Like, the RWA narrative is not going anywhere, but, Landy, you wanna chime in on this, Alante? And real quick. Sorry. We've also talked about this, by the way, at at length where I would... You guys remember me asking me, like, what the fuck else you got? I've been an outspoken critic of, like, get rid of PumpFun. It is literally the worst thing ever for everybody. Like, we don't need that casino, and yet we're trying to mimic it on a million other platforms. Right? Like, give things, like, the utility that people need. People can have fun. Great. The live streaming shit just killed it in my opinion. This stuff doesn't help. And, like, they're extracting... The founder's just extracting, like, on chain, like, so much money. Like, they're not even making... Like, you can't... There's no secret about it. And then on top of that, don't forget, the Solana validators also just voted to essentially stop burning Solana, like, the rewards... Like, a part of the rewards that they're getting and filtered them back to the to the actual validators. Yeah. That happened two days ago. That was a vote. So now you have more cell pressure coming. So there's a lot cooking here. Landy, yeah, if you wanna chime in on the... I don't know if it's the rollback or or or Solana. I mean, feel free, bro. [0:39:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'll I'll take both on this one. Look. For the... For... It is ironic that, they were, like, making fun of the rollback talk, which, by the way, I don't think is good, and then now had the rollback talk begin in their community. So it's like, how fitting. So you're over here, you know, putting it out there that you're dissing, you know, this other chain for for even floating the idea, and now you have people at higher levels floating the same idea on your chain, which, by the way, goes to show you why, you know, why people like me have been saving in Bitcoin, for a very long time with all of my, at least half of my profits from every trade going to Bitcoin, and that's the way that I do it. There's people who disagree with doing it that way, and that's fine. When it comes to... You know, had this conversation, on Friday, after the incident. You know, last week, there was actually, more than just that particular, younger gentleman, who unfortunately, took his own life. There was, in the Ordinals ecosystem and in an adjacent NFT ecosystem, there was two, people who had taken their own lives, just earlier in the week. That was the third one of the week. Obviously, it it stole all of the mind share because of the manner in which it was done. And it spurred on some conversations that I had privately with with, so... With a group of of, who I consider friends in Telegram, where we were talking about, like, look. A lot of the the degeneracy, so to speak, a lot of the extraction, whether you're talking about Hayden, Davis and his crew and many of the other types of cabals that are all over the place and VCs, We've seen this over and over and over again. Right? And we've seen the type of degeneracy, in this space over and over again. What PumpFund allowed, allowed for was ease of access to that degenerate kind of, mindset and culture. And it allowed it to spread because, easy to use tools, gamification, speed, and and very cheap fees on the network. Right? So we had a a model in which, we already had... It's it's... In my opinion, it's not a pump fund problem. There was always going to be a pump fund, whether it was pump fund or not. It is a, it is a mindset problem. Right? And it's it's, this goes to kind of mental health in general. A lot of people come to the crypto space. They're working nine to fives, and they wanna make money just to get away from the nine to five. They wanna break free. They see this as an easier way. They know that it might be a gamble, but they got better odds than playing the lottery every week. Right? And, unfortunately, with that, many people bring along, their baggage, you know, behind every single PFP, whether it's a real one or or, you know, of of somebody's actual photo or whether it's a cartoon PFP. Everybody has their own life and their own issues and and stresses and and tragedies in their own personal lives that just then start to bleed into this space as they fight for for something like monetary. And if the goal is monetary, you're already losing the battle. If the goal is to get rich, you're losing the battle from the moment you step in the door because you're setting an expectation that money will solve problems. And I personally went and had a very rough few weeks. I haven't talked about it. I talked a little bit about it in a dedicated space last night because I'm like, you know what? I gotta open this up. I'm getting too many messages. So I open up a space. And, you know, if you're coming to this space to get rich, you're setting the bar unrealistically high because you... Many come here to to get rich quick, and there is no quick path to getting rich. Those people that you see that got rich very quickly often didn't get rich very quickly via their own means. They... Maybe they got into one of these groups that's doing this kind of stuff where they're colluding together to make money. Or if they did get rich very quickly, it's because they, they got lucky. Quite frankly, they got lucky. It takes a lot of work. It takes a lot of dedication. Even just if you look around farming, you know, the stuff that Cool does and Samara does with all the different chains. I know Dave's getting into it now. Even I'm getting into it because it's interesting. Free money's out there, but guess what? You have to put in the work. You actually have to go and do the stuff. You have to participate, and that takes time and energy. And, yeah, you'll get rewarded. And guess what? There's a lot of it that you'll do that that gets you no reward. Like, the the project doesn't make it. It kinda falls apart, and I, you know? So it's still a crapshoot in that regard. So many then say, well, I'm gonna shortcut this. I'm gonna go to pump fund because everything's ripping left and right. There's tons of volume. How can you possibly lose? If you're losing, it's a skill issue and all this other shit. And that's just not the way it is. You have to really dedicate yourself to learn about the ecosystems, learn about what it is that you're getting into, and maybe even a little bit... You don't have to be a technical analyst, at least understand, like, the trend of a chart so you understand that you're not buying your top top blasting everything that you're going across. At least uptrend, good. But you aren't... You're not gonna be buying the uptrend. Hopefully, you're buying the downtrend. Well well... And then planning for the uptrend later kinda thing. You know? That is where, you know, there's a there's a a cultural issue in this space that has persisted, but it is not unique to crypto. It's everywhere. Just go into any siloed community. Go in the sports community. Go go in the football community. Go in the basketball community, and just look at how degenerate and and nasty people get with each other. Look at all the gambling that goes on there now that sports betting is a big thing. Like... So it's not necessarily unique to crypto, but crypto is very high profile, and a lot of people come to it to make money. And, if you don't have a plan, very few very few will make money without a plan. But if you come here with a plan, you'll be successful. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Just have a plan. [0:45:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I think we've we've we've literally... Like, I've been screaming have a plan for a minute, and I think sometimes, like, it's easy to get lost in the sauce. You know what I mean? It it very easily is. Like, there's just... I know it because, like, my mind works a million miles an hour, and it's like, could barely get through executing one thing at a time that I'm like, oh, open up another tab. Don't forget to this. Open up another tab. You can do that. Next thing I know, got 50,000 tabs open, and I'm supposed to be doing a million things. But yet, I get 20% of everything... Of of nothing done as opposed to a 100% of just, a few things. You know? So, yeah, I can't stress it enough. There's no model or blueprint for it. You just gotta be disciplined enough to be able to do it. Alright. Let's talk about some SEC stuff. I see SEC's dropping lawsuits left and right here at the end of the day. SEC dropped it against Coinbase last week. They dropped it against Robinhood yesterday. I'm liking this obviously now. This is obviously freeing up a lot of these, like, bigger institutions to kinda, like, get involved here, like, in crypto and bring it to the masses. And, I guess I was think... You know what I was thinking about? Like, as, like, as I was reading a lot of these things, I'm saying to myself, like, I'm hearing in space where people like, oh, we gotta onboard this. We gotta onboard that. Why the fuck is it my responsibility to onboard anybody? It's not my responsibility to onboard anybody. I don't... What do I need to onboard people for? That's what everything else out there is doing. I don't have... Like, that's not me. Like, I'm here to educate some people. Right? Like, I'm not here to, quote, onboard anyone. Great if they if they actually take to it and they get it. We hopefully can set them off on the right path. We give them the information that they need and everything else, but I'm not I'm not here to onboard people. I'm here to just, like, help educate some people, but onboarding is, like, completely up to, like, everybody else. Like, am I cool? Am I crazy for thinking like this? Or, like, it... Like, because I'm constantly hearing this. We gotta onboard this many. We're not gonna onboard the masses like this. And I'm like, that's not my problem. The SEC just got rid of all these investigations to these other... Like, they're the onboarders, not me. No? [0:47:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. You are you are. No. We, as an individual, of course, we're trying to onboard maybe our friends, family, immediate friends, family. Yes. But real retail gets in in crypto through these Robinhood and Coinbase, that's where they come from. And that's why I'm happy that these lawsuits are are... It's a dark cloud on your business. But I think I saw, Robinhood made about $300,000,000 q four revenue from crypto, which is crazy. And and Robinhood is the is the is the, US app, you know, that people use to trade for stocks for web two, but they just started playing with crypto. So to me, it's a beautiful thing. When you when you see SEC drop in the space, it's... It lifts a dark cloud. But, yeah, Robinhood Robinhood, Kraken, Coinbase, Dynash US, all these companies are are the real... Are the real ways onboard users, and that's why we we want them to be... To operate freely... Free of the government. But, yes, now up to you, bro. We only onboard our friends, and that's about it, man. But I don't go down the street, man, asking people to download the Clemics wallets. No. I don't do that, bro. I tell my family, and they listen. If they do, they do, and I'm on board. I said, boy, I don't just walk down the street trying to onboard everybody, man. No. No. No. No. Those days are gone already. Those days are gone. If you hear about it, good. If you don't, that's your problem. And that's it. [0:49:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'm not trying to be like Jesse Pollock walking down the street being like, hey. You want a $100 to get on chain? It's like, what? Get out of here, you freaking... You psycho. You know what I mean? Like, that... I mean, it's no surprise he got the reaction he got. You know what I'm saying? It was, like, kinda crazy, but yeah, I don't know. Lady, it's not our job to onboard anybody. Give me the quick take. [0:49:50] Voice E: I'm just reading a comment to me underneath, underneath. Sorry. Hold on. You caught me as I was reading a comment where David Gokstein just opened his space saying meme talk, it's over. And then somebody commented underneath, hey, Cryptolandi. David is blaming this pullback on you. [0:50:12] Voice E: Sorry. For for the SEC stuff. [0:50:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Listen. I was just in a chat making fun of, making fun of David. That's why, that's why he's, he's taking it to me while I'm not there on the stage, but that's okay. Look. I I think that, we're gonna get regulatory clarity. And I've said this before. I think we're gonna see it in Stables first. Funny enough, didn't Alex just run space over the weekend about this, or maybe it was last weekend about stable about stablecoin bill? Look. The the SEC dropping cases, and then now having a special task force, I think is a good thing. I think that people misinterpret the special task force stuff as like, oh, they're gonna go after pew... Yeah. They're gonna pick specific things, but I think part of that special task force is identifying what to go after and what not to, what to leave alone. The SEC chair now has... You know, he wants to tag things as experimental, and that's a good sand... And sandbox it. Right? So I think that's good, and then you develop policy out of that. So they're gonna take and they're gonna model out what's already out there and... In a in a sandbox and then, come up with polys... Policy prescriptions that make sense. Common sense shit. And I think that's a good thing. As for onboarding, look. I mean, you know, I, in fact, bringing up mister Gokstein and seeing as he's not here, I'm gonna talk about him for a moment. He blames Bitcoin Maxis for being piss poor at onboarding. I say, guess what? It's the entire crypto space, not Bitcoin Maxis, because who wants to be onboarded into a culture where there's constantly people in positions of prominence? And this... Obviously, David Gokstein does not fall on this. He's he's prominent, but he's a media guy. Right? But we have KOLs everywhere. We have KOLs everywhere who are teaming up with projects to push things that are rugging the shit out of their audiences. Right? And the... Who wants to be... Is that a good onboarding experience for the masses? No. How about all these different meme coins that are launching, like, every five seconds and rip thousands of percent and then hit moonshot and then retail buys it and then they immediately dump out, you know, 99.9%. Like, that... That's not a good onboarding experience. And so, you know, I actually agree with you, Dave. It's not up to up to us to onboard. It was never up to us. Maybe in the early days, Bitcoiners could have done a better job. Maybe Ethereum, Maxis could have done a better job. But the goal has always been to get the bigger players. Right? And and and because number go up, we get to exit and realize profits and then buy more when number goes back down. Right? And that is kind of where things are in markets in general. And I think that the real onboarders, to Cool's point, are the the mainstream platforms. Like, here in The United States, it's gonna be your Coinbase, your Robinhood. And a lot of people leave out Webull. Webull has a massive audience, they have a ton of crypto, on their platform. Fidelity for people that manage there, but then it's gonna be all the wrapped products. Everything is gonna be a wrapped damn product, and it's coming. I mean, we just saw another Bitcoin, Ethereum ETF, get shoved through the pipeline. I think it's a $60.40, Bitcoin to Ethereum. It might even be more, $65.35 or something like that. I forget who filed it the other day. Maybe it was Franklin Templeton. I'm not quite sure. I have to go double check, but we're just gonna get more and more wrap products. We're gonna get more and more vectors for leverage in traditional markets as well for your, you know, your one x, two x longs and shorts, which just, I believe, was talking about with cash flow last night. Like, there's a lot of, these products that are gonna be accessible to mainstream, audiences. And a lot of people are gonna absorb crypto through their portfolios passively in many cases. And when they're actively gonna go do it and get involved in crypto, they're likely gonna use platforms they don't even realize that that is crypto that they're using. Or they will realize it, and it's just gonna be seamless. You know, one click, here you go. It's crypto. Possibly has a use case for something that they like or enjoy. That's really where where the onboarding happens. We just have to survive this period as people in this market. [0:54:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: True. Yeah. Yep. Good points, bro. Really good points. I was just scrolling through some of the news also, and that's, like like... You know, just to maybe circle back really quick. I just saw that PumpFun is literally starting its own AMM. Like, this is crazy. Radium took a tumble today. Holy shit. Do you guys see this? [0:55:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. This is called warfare. We're we're we're now at war, on on Solana. And if they start their own AMM, depending on how they structure, hopefully, they would structure it in a way that would encourage, you know, devs and teams to actually not dump their fucking coin and have the culture of, okay. Dev's out. Now we can buy it and run it up. Because that's the culture over there. Right? And I'm pumped on is everybody waits for the dev to sell. Everybody then tries to snipe, and then everybody waits for the snipers to get out if it's a good enough meme, and then they go and they pump it up to the moon and then dump it out on everybody's heads. And I think that if they have their own AMM, if they're gonna do it right, they would allow for multiple ways of adding liquidity to the pool and being a participant that can earn money and fees so that you don't have to sell the coins and you can actually develop a product. Maybe they give an outsized portion of the... Of those fees to the dev. If the dev is going to continue to hold the coins, then lock that liquidity at the end, right, so that the dev can't just rip the liquidity out, but can then... Is encouraged to actually promote the growth of the project instead of just pump and dumps left and right. That would be a good pivot for them. If they could do that and if that was successful, what I just stated, they... I think that they could change the narrative surrounding, their platform and, possibly change the culture in a way, and and liquidity extraction that that continues to happen from there. And I think this is not just in response to, Radium, but this is in response to JEP and Meteora and all of the situation that happened over there. [0:56:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Do you think they're just digging cool, dude, the good stuff, Landy? Do you think they're just digging their own grave? Cool. Feel like by doing this, it's like, that might be the only thing that was working for you guys. But now, like... Yeah. I don't I don't I don't know. I don't... [0:57:02] Kool @koolcryptovc: I really know what what what went into this because I I thought they were doing well making all all this money, you know, through other... Feel like this movement might benefit them. Maybe it will, man. But I... Like I said, I don't I don't know how this stuff works overall, but I... It's been... I don't think I've ever seen a a project that basically... The whole the whole chain hostage. Because if if Pompom goes down and goes away, Solana would take a massive hit when it comes to revenue and volume because people go there. I mean, guys, we... We're talking about... I mean, even though Ye Ye's token, I guess, was... They were later. They wanna launch launch a token. I guess it's gonna be on BNB, not not not Solana. But, you know, a lot of people are launching these Bitcoins on Solana on. I'm not sure how... I don't think it it will affect... It it... It's gonna affect probably Jupiter or Radium, but I don't think it it will affect Solana, though. I don't think so. Right? [0:58:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't... I I mean, I just feel like... I mean, we're gonna see, like, exactly how... Like, what's what. Bro, like, I... When I saw that Elon news that he's coming out with this new, like, faff... Like, this new agency, right, the federal agency of whatever the fuck... Like, whatever the acronym was, I was saying to myself, like, let me just see... I still like to tweet for a minute. I was like, let me just go see, like, what the state of the trench is like. I launched the FAFFO coin on on on PumpFund. Bro, even the snipers are even... Are are not even there anymore, bro. Like, I got sniped for, like, two soul. And I was like, what the fuck is this? Like, normally, you're getting sniped for, like, five, 10 soul for something that's, like, that hot. You know what I mean? If you're that fast to it, but, like, goddamn. [0:58:39] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Bro, yeah, people... Remember, has been running since, like, about early last year, probably almost about eight, nine months. Eight, nine months of and and suicide, the livestreaming. Just the the mood. I could tell when the mood of crypto is down because all you gotta look at is look at the trading volume, look at the look look at the twenty four hour or the seven day charts on the big caps. Because if it's... If the big caps are taking a 10% dip, 5% dip, lower caps are down 40, 50%, and meme coins are getting absolutely destroyed. So sentiment is horrible, which which is... To me, I love times like this because this is when the real projects build. This is when, real projects build. Like, look at today. Just today. In this down market, we had CZ come out personally, talk about how he's investing in pro... Protocol called Vana. I have the NFT. I have the Apple tokens. Yes. That thing pumped, like, 40% within, like, an hour. But stuff like that is happening in crypto too at the same time when when people are losing. Right? So those... The sentiment is horrible right now, man. That is affecting these chains, man. The... Especially the the DJN chains. It's affecting them massively. [1:00:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And to be clear with everybody, we're saying... I'm saying all this. Right? I'm not gonna speak for anybody else. I'm saying all this, but y'all have to be responsible with your own money. Okay? At the end of the day, people are gonna build whatever the fuck they wanna build. Like, that's the bottom line. You understand? Like, period. End of story. Does that mean I'm not gonna be talking about MemeCoins and other MemeCoin platforms and, other AI agents? Hell no. That's not. Because at the end of the day, that's another opportunity for me and maybe for other people. You guys have to be able to, like, have the discipline to be able to understand, like, do I get involved in this? Do I not get involved in this? Right? If it's something that's fun for you guys, great. That mint today, amazingly fun for me. You guys see what I pinned to the top? Agent.run. AI agents on XRP, that's fucking fun to me. Like, I'm gonna go fucking have fun on XRP. Right? I'm going to take some of my money, and I'm going to go there and see what's cooking because that is something that is brand spanking new that I genuinely really, really... Like, I I... The team is top notch to me. Right? Shout out Moe Medashin and that whole crew. Like... And at the end of the day, like, that's my choice. Right? You guys have to be able to make these decisions for yourself, period. End of story. Like, yes. Do I hate pump fund? Hate it. Value extraction up the wazoo. I wanna... Do I wanna see this other platform succeed? Of course, I do. But this is a different take on things. Right? You have to be able to see what these opportunities are. If people are just launching anything just for fuck's sake, whatever, okay. Cool. But at the end of the day, like, you guys have to be able to really make these choices and decisions for yourself. Right? And for me, like, something brand new on a different chain, like you heard Cole was talking about before, that's different. There's opportunity there, not saturated. The same way that people were just launching whatever the fuck they wanted. This is where fun really genuinely happens. But, again, you've heard this saying a million times and a million times again. Don't ever put in the middle what you can afford to lose. Great. And it probably goes in one ear and out the other. Maybe this time, you should listen. I'm not speaking to anybody in specific. Just in general, like, really get a hold of, like, your finances because this genuinely can be the place where you can make that wealth, but it's not gonna happen overnight like Landy said. Stop coming here with, like, millionaire mindset overnight. It's not gonna work. It genuinely is not going to work. So plan accordingly. Anyways, what else we got cooking? Let me see. Let me see. Oh, we're talk about Ye token? Cool. Did Ye sell his ship for 17,000,000 or what? I know you buy... You... You're definitely gonna be buying Ye. Fuck out of here. No way. [1:02:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I think I think he sold it, man. I think he sold it because... Or or or he had somebody... Because he was tweeting about about hyperliquid. What what does he know about hyperliquid? I think I think, I think he definitely sold... Either he sold it or he had, someone come to his home and tweet for him. But the 100%, he's not, fully controlling his account, man, or he's... Because I saw a tweet from... Is it commenting notes commenting notes from Twitter saying you could tell by by signing. Like, someone was signing in on his account for different locations. So so I I believe that either either he sold it or he's having... You know, they... Couple of people controlling his account, which makes sense because the tweets were too crypto savvy. It's all about talking about typing swap on Binance and Hyperliquid? No. But, I mean, I'm... Well, like I said, I'm all here for it, man. It's it's it's gonna be a bad day, though, but it's all good, man. I'm I'm here for it, man. It's just fun. And, I mean, like I said, I I can't get mad. I just I just enjoy the vibe, man. I saw the guy that's controlled... Controlling the account. His name is Bark, b a r k. A lot of hate towards this dude, man. I'm like, why you guys hating? You're hating you're hating on on him because Kanye West, they give you the platform. It's just... It's hilarious, bro. But, yeah, man, bro, I'm here for the vibe, man. I'm here for I'm here for [1:04:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But the Bark Media dudes are fucking... Bro, I don't know if you heard that under... That that phone... That secret phone call that was recorded, bro. They were shitting all over fucking crypto, bro. Those Bark Media guys were like, yo. We got people out here that are waiting for this, this, isn't it? Bro, that bark... Bro, that that bark fucking... Those spaces are literally, like, top spaces every single day. Like, come on, man. Like, you're telling me, like, that community is genuinely that big and, like, they're fuck... [1:04:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Like No, bro. I I see some signs when they they go live on a Sunday with forty forty, 30,000 live viewers. I'm like, bro, on a Sunday. Come on, man. Come on, man. Come on, live viewers. Come on, man. Come on. [1:04:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's what I'm talking. Shit's fucking crazy. Landy, did Ye sell his account for 17? Yeah. Go ahead. [1:05:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: He might have delegated it. I doubt that they have enough money that they're paying him 17,000,000 to get his account. I don't think he sold the rights to his account. He likely delegated it to a team. That's pretty normal stuff. You know, all of that stuff, I think, doesn't matter. I think that the team that is being associated with him is what matters. And, you know, there's been issues that people have brought up surrounding Bark specifically and, the the cofounder over there. They've they've... They're not new here. They're not, unknown. They've been around a little while. Let's put it that way. And I I think that, you know, it... It's it's clear that it's gonna end up being value extraction. And and even if it isn't meant in that way, value will be extracted in a massive way. Even if that's not the intention and the team doesn't sit around and snipe it in the backroom and, you know, getting all geeked up on ketamine and fucking sitting at their phones with their dads sniping in the corner and, you know, and then have, videos come out later. Doesn't matter. It's gonna end up sniped all the shit. Everybody is gonna wait to snipe that shit. Everybody's got... They've got contract watchers on. They've got their freaking... They're contacting their friends that run nodes and signers and shit on Solana. They're fucking they're they're making phone calls all over the place because they want... They they want in on at least, the ride up, however short it might be, and they'll play the game of can we get out fast enough. It's a game of chicken. That's really what it's gonna be. If anybody is truly interested in owning a Yea token, you don't buy it day one, especially if it's a a known entity. Right? If it's a known thing that this contract's gonna drop, there is no reason to get into it when it launches. It was something different with Trump, and I even was telling people the day, that Trump launched, like, don't get into any other tokens that are launched because you will most likely be buying tops immediately. This was something that was dropped right away. If it's something that's known ahead of time, it's going to get eaten alive. Look at pain. And they... And I think that they actually did, try to do the right thing there, with whatever measure they possibly could with the presale stuff. But it's... It immediately ran up and then dumped out, you know, and now what's it at? Like, now 99%. Right? So it... I I really think that if it's something... If there are things that you really are interested in that are meme tokens like that or any kind of a launch token, you you... If you don't have it coming to you for free, if you're not an insider, stay the hell away. Come back another day once things have settled down and see where things are at and if it's worth getting into. Because they're... You know, never know. There could be a nice little bearish bounce to retest for everybody else that that bought tops to exit at 50% loss instead of 99% loss. [1:08:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. Okay. Is there any gold at Fort Knox, guys, or what? I saw this story, and I was just like, yo. I heard Trump talking about this. I'm like, if him and Elon show up and they open up the doors to Fort Knox and there is no fucking gold over there, what happens? Like, what genuinely happens if there's no gold at Fort Knox? [1:08:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: You know, what do you what do you think will happen? I I don't... The the gold price. We... So I don't I don't think this is good for the country. I I don't know, man. Because if... What if it's not there? What what what happens to gold price? Does it crash? Why was the big premium price? Is it pump? I have no idea, man. What what do what do guys think? [1:08:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't fucking know. Landy, go for it, bro. I'm I'm literally lost on this one. [1:08:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: There's, like, there's there's a few different ways that it could go. Let's say they open up Fort Knox and they find, they find nothing. They find... They did... They just find, thousand dollar bills with Jerome Powell's face on them instead of gold. What you'll see is that gold market will revalue. It will likely be very volatile to the downside and upside. I think overall, it would be up because why don't we have the gold? That means that there's far less reserve of the gold in the world than we initially thought. Right? And who has the gold? So there'd be a lot of uncertainty. I think that it would be very volatile, but generally up. I think this would be good for Bitcoin in the longer run. I don't think right away. I think you'd see the market actually get rocked in a way that we've never seen before. And then, Bitcoin would be the beneficiary of this in the longer run. I think that it would also spur on treasury reserve assets of Bitcoin all over the world, near instantly and a race to buy Bitcoin from, from wherever. As for... Does it go up or does it go down? If that were the case, I think it would go down first. Let's say they open up and they do an audit and find that there is gold missing. That is also going to have, I believe, the same effect. Right? Because then you're gonna have a big argument in Washington for Bitcoin. I think it'd be a net positive. I think that overall, we would see, the markets rocked to the downside in this regard. And there's another factor that I don't think many are considering. What if they open up Fort Knox and they find more gold than has been declared? Why would this be important? Because that means The United States has the gold and somebody else doesn't. And the reason that I bring this up is because not many are talking about it. I know I brought it up quite a lot, and that is the Bank of England, and their redemptions for gold. They are having, a little bit of problem delivering, making good on those redemptions, and that's a problem. And that already goes to show... That's one of the reasons why the gold market's up because they don't have the gold. Who's got the gold? Who's giving them the gold to fulfill these orders? Well, this might be a little bit of gamesmanship on the Trump administration's part because if you don't think that The United States and the banking infrastructure in New York is giving them the gold, via these these processes, well, then, you're mistaken because they are. And and then that is provably so. And now that still begs the question. There's a massive hole in the gold market. Where did that gold go? Where did the Bank of England's gold go? And if they were to if they were to open the vaults of Fort Knox and not find anything, I don't think that I don't think that's a good situation for The United States to be in. And and then it would be going on the hunt for that. I think the markets would be very, very violent likely to the downside. I think gold, very, very violent whipsawing back and forth likely ends up to the upside because, demand to get gold will increase around the world. Like, where the hell... Well, let's get our gold out or at least try. So you'd see order demand go up through the roof while we don't have the supply. They don't have the supply. And, of course, this is The United States reserve versus the bank reserve in New York. You would see a massive, demand on that bank reserve in New York. So that would beg the question. If it's not in Fort Knox, is it in New York? What happens if it's not in New York? And the cascade effect, I think, would be for the ages. Bitcoin's a beneficiary either way because the importance of it would... The importance of it, I think, is already becoming apparent. I think that... And I mentioned this to you, Dave, yesterday. Right? Did I mention that... I believe this is why, Gary... Gary, Larry Fink actually flipped and many others flipped around the same time. I think they knew that there was problems in the gold market. They could see it after 2020, and they needed to have a plan. That plan ended up being Bitcoin. That's why they pushed so hard for those spot ETFs. [1:13:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It's good. I just find it funny, man. And and to and to Cool's point, like like, way earlier, when you look at, like, Bitcoin volumes. Right? Like, look at it now. Like, we were we we were... Like, twenty four hour average volume for the last few days or a week or so was around, like, 20 to 22 to 26,000,000,000. Now look. When you see price down like this and we talk about, like, big guys accumulating. Right? Like, look at the volume now. We're at 35 to 40,000,000,000. Right? Like, that's not just, like, people panicking and selling off. Like, that's bigger institutions that are literally just, like, accumulating a lot of fucking Bitcoin. So if there ain't no gold at Fort Knox, it's gonna be interesting to see what the fuck happens. That is for damn sure. Guys, I feel like we did pretty good on the stories. I gotta obviously cook. Like, I got I got mad things I gotta do. Gotta finish packing. Although, actually, like, my girl packed for me yesterday, so I'm actually lying. I... I'm mostly packed for the record. [1:14:23] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. It's it's it's it's... We we know we know we know you're going to, eat Denver. I think... I guess, you're going tomorrow. When when... What's what's the plan for the show? Are we are we... You know, start earlier, later? What's what's the plan, bro? [1:14:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. So I think tomorrow, like, if we're gonna do... Because my flight is at seven, so it's gonna be impossible for me to run this at at any point tomorrow unless we do it early early afternoon, which I don't know if if that's possible for you. Cool. So we might, if you guys will obviously wanna run it, like, maybe you guys, if you guys wanna host, like, know, totally up to you. I can obviously, like, follow along and and and come up and maybe speak for a little bit on my way to the airport through security, whatever, but I don't wanna do that in case we rug. But Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I should be good. Wednesday, I'm going to the ThinkAgent event, but I think that's gonna be a little bit later. And Thursday, I'm a deaf... We're definitely doing Thursday for sure for sure. And then I'm thinking maybe we do... Like, if you guys are down, we do, like, a Friday one. And, yeah, maybe just kinda... Like, maybe we make them up, like, on Friday or whatever. So... Yeah. I mean, I'm down, and I'm open to do whatever. But... Yeah. Like, I'll be I'll be more flexible once I get to Denver tomorrow night, and then the rest of the week, I think we should be good. [1:15:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: Alright. No problem. [1:15:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: No worries. [1:15:37] Kool @koolcryptovc: Just let me know, man. No problem. I mean, like I said, just do what it is. If I need to hold still during the week, no problem. I can try. If you if you can't, what it is, we'll figure... If you're do it earlier, no problem. Either way, I'm fine, bro. Either way. [1:15:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: Beautiful. And I'm... You know me. I'm always sitting in front of the computer at this time watching the markets. So either way, I'll be around. So whatever you guys decide, just hit me up. And, yeah, I I think that this was a a good, ATC today. Good catching up, and I I wish you a wonderful trip, brother. I hope you, arrive safely and have a lot of fun. [1:16:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thank you, man. I appreciate it. Is there anybody you guys need me to see while I'm [1:16:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: out there? [1:16:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, any any projects or anything while, while, while I'm gonna be in Denver? [1:16:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: I I just want... I want you to report back, from whatever escapades you go on with Spiv. [1:16:30] Voice E: I just want... I need to know. [1:16:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: I will plead the fifth on that one. I don't know what the fuck is going over there, but, yeah. No. It should be good. Oh, and I'm actually moderating my first panel, on Saturday, which is kinda dope. I never thought... You know, I... I've always wanted to obviously get out to these to these events. And you guys know how I deal with... I... I'm a killer at these events. Right? Like, I went to freaking Singapore. I came back with a book full of it. It was amazing. It was great. Telegram was crazy. So, like, I'm fully expecting the same thing when I come back from East Denver. I don't care how the markets are. That has zero effect on anything that I'm doing. I'm going out there to network. I finally get to... I'm gonna get to meet bread in person. I'm gonna get to meet a lot of people. You know what I mean? And shout out, by the way, Billy Betts hit a new all time high yesterday. But, yeah, like, I'm I'm super excited. I'm I'm moderating my first panel on Saturday. It's gonna be with Insomnia and the Nilion team, which I'm super excited about. Lend you... You know, you remember Nilion? That's where [1:17:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I've been keeping up with him over there, and I'm I'm super, super happy that that he's, having a lot of success. And it got me to actually go back and check out Nillion because I was... You know, heard about it and then kinda fell off. And then it, like, Lon went over there and, like, now you see him pumping out, you know, the way he does with with, with the memes and and the commentary. That's pretty awesome. So that's awesome. I'm I'm really... Is that gonna be recorded or streamed or anything? [1:18:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: So you heard me say it yesterday, bro. Like, I'm... I think I'm gonna... Legit, I'm gonna stream them from the Metairie bands that I feel like... I... If I got thirty minutes, if I'm moderating the panel, I'm a throw those bad boys on. I'm a see if I could livestream the whole shit from the Metairie bands, which would be kinda dope. Right? Like, that would be really, really cool. [1:18:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: That would be awesome. I think, Janie, was it Janie that that did this a little bit from one of these bands? Yep. Okay. That's... That that would be incredible. Well, I mean, that's... Congratulations, first off, because that's that's big, man. Like, we've got people in in in this ecosystem that I've now become friends with. Obviously, Dave and Cool have known them for a lot longer that are just having success after success after success. I see you, Safi. And, like, there's, you know, Bread and a whole bunch of others like Viper and people that are just in these ecosystems that are having a ton of success. When when price is down and and mood is down and sentiment is terrible, just, follow... Make sure you're following Dave and Cool. Like, I I... They're always on point when it comes to, like, identifying where the cool shit is happening. I'm just a Bitcoin guy, so I follow these guys everywhere. You know, not here today, but, Samara and Alpha Gamer who are who are here quite often. Like, they're always finding gems and just cool shit in in price irrespective. Granted price is doing pretty damn good for some of this other stuff. Right? But just make sure that you're keeping up with it. One of the things that I will tell you is I get things lost in in in the sauce for how many people I follow now. So if you aren't, going to your mobile app, if you put them on notifications, you're not gonna get all posts. Go to your mobile app. Make sure you do all posts because keep up with this stuff. There's so much exciting cool shit, man. [1:20:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. There really, is. It's... There's so much stuff out here. And, like, look, when price is down, what do you do? Like like, I'm not gonna be paying attention to the charts and shit. You know what I mean? I'm not gonna be trading the entire week there. Like, my focus there is make as many new connections. I wanna meet all these new projects. I wanna see what they're doing. I wanna get in their face. I wanna know exact... Like, I'm the curious kid. Like, I need to know what's going on out here. Right? And that's the way you drum up business. Right? Like, I'm putting my face out there. I've never done this before. Right? I've never moderated a panel. I've never spoken on a panel. Now I'm moderating a panel. I'm hella excited for it. Like, people are are you nervous? I'm like, nah. Not really. I'm hella fucking psyched. Like, that's gonna be so much fun. I'm like, as long as there's not, like, six people in the audience, and I don't see, like, an asshole. But, like, you know, I'm like, Spiv, you're... You you got some people coming to this event. He's like, bro, we got Ferrari sponsoring. We're doing a Ferrari giveaway. I'm like, alright. Cool, bro. Cool. Cool. Cool. [1:20:56] Voice E: It's just you guys on stage with a single Ferrari just sitting there in the audience. [1:21:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Me, the me, the cofounders of Nillion Insomnia with a pair of Metairie bands on livestreaming, like [1:21:08] Voice E: Look out at the audience. There's there's six guys. One guy sitting in there. Christina, Ferrari just beeping the horn at you. Oh [1:21:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: my god, bro. That should be crazy. [1:21:18] Voice E: That that would be amazing. That'd be memeable. [1:21:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: That would be hella funny, actually. That would be really, really funny. But before we close out, I know LJ LJ came up, and LJ was telling us in the in the comments. He's like, you know, Nat Nat gonna be pissy, you motherfucker. You're mentioning Hedera. I'm like, hey, Dana. You're right, bro. LJ, what is good, bro? What's going on? [1:21:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Uh-oh. LJ, you're on mute. [1:21:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. Gerald, we're... Yeah. Gerald, we're gonna close in a second, my brother. So, like, come come through come through next time, my man. But, LJ... Yeah. Yo. Cool. You better start mentioning more Hedera, but I'm not trying to hear it from that now when she comes back here, bro. Like Shout out Nat [1:22:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: Nat, by the way. Yeah. [1:22:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Big shout out to Nat Nat. Hell yeah. Alright, boys. That's all we got for today. Thank you guys, everybody, that... For showing up. Rose, I see you. Thank you so much for obviously coming through, being patient. Steve, I see you. Prez, what's good? Safi, what up? Gamer, you son of a gun. I'm taking your name out of the credits from now on. Moe Meta, what's good, guys? Don't forget to tune in. We got a big a... We got a big agent.run space coming up in the next couple days. Trip, Dev, you sexy son of a bitch. I miss you, man. I... It's good to see your face, your PFP. Dee, what's good? Thank you for the reminders. Riot. DeFi, Dictator, let's get in the DMs. Let's figure out this mint buildo. I will see you tomorrow, my boy. OVR, nah. Let's go. Stars, everybody else that came through. Appreciate you guys, man. Cool, Lindy. As always, it's been great, and we will see you guys maybe tomorrow, if not on Wednesday, but we'll coordinate. Keep a lookout. Set the notice. Peace.
