The show opened with banter, a humorous promo, and multiple Telegram scam stories involving fake offers to buy hosts' usernames. Discussion covered general market sentiment with Bitcoin needing to reclaim higher levels to avoid retesting lows, passive income strategies on Tron through staking TRX for voting power, bandwidth/energy resources, and JustLend DeFi yields. The team welcomed MetaBeast as the new official metaverse contributor and dove into Pump.fun launching its own DEX (Pump Swap) with zero-fee instant migrations from bonding curves, sparking debate on greed, user extraction, and competition with Raydium. A deep conversation explored Story Protocol for on-chain IP registration, AI integration, and creative rights monetization, with strong takes on enforcement challenges, industry overhaul needs, and the balance between creatives and business partners. The show closed with major news that the SEC confirmed Bitcoin miners and proof-of-work crypto mining do not violate securities laws, providing regulatory clarity. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:02:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: 50 boy? What up? [0:02:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Andy, what do know about a little Arizona? Sunny d in the building. What's good, Ben? What up? [0:02:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Coachella, Circa. 2022? '21? [0:03:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. [0:03:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's good, everybody? Hold on a second. I gotta play it. It's a must. Now that we have promos, it's just too good to not play. So give me one second. We're gonna open this up and go. Everything's fine [0:03:51] Voice L: until it's not. Maybe a meme coin you faded just did a 50 x. Maybe an undarked dev just pulled the biggest disappearing act since Houdini, or maybe Dave is mid rant. One bad takeaway from delivering a verbal wreck so brutal, even the blockchain can't confirm it. That's when the all star team doesn't just step in. They pull up like backup in a market crash, armed with facts, receipts, and the kind of takes that make grifters sweat. Because every main character needs a cast that actually holds the plot together. Landy, the moist sock, keeping the convo fresh even when the charts stink. Samura, spotting the scams before they even finish their mint. Alpha Gamer, playing the long game, one strategic move at a time. Builder, the fluffer bunny from the future verse. Proof that the timeline has already been altered and web three is just catching up because web three never sticks to the script, but ATC always has the right cast to handle the chaos. Tune in Monday through Thursday at 05:30PM eastern. No fluff. No FOMO. No exit liquidity. Just real alpha. [0:04:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Had to do it. Had to do it. Ayo, Brent Fernando. If your if your PFP is the one that's messaging me on Telegram saying that you wanna buy my my Telegram name for 4,000 ton, trust me, bro. Just send the money. I swear, I'll send you the name. I'll mint the name. Whatever you want. 4,000 ton, it's yours. Guy with the same exact PFP messaged me on Telegram, Landy, asking, you know what? I wanna buy your name. I like it. I'm like, you like DC to LA? I'm like, aye. That's cool. But we gotta mint it, man, on fragment. And I'm like, oh, is that so? Sends me a link. My guy, listen up. Fernando... Brent Fernando. If you want me to buy if you want to buy the name, you have my tone keeper address. Send the 4,000 ton with every single person in here as my witness. I swear to you, I will go mint it on every chain you want and send it over to you. No problemo, my boy. Ship it. Landy, what's good, bro? [0:06:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: What's up, brother? Yeah. You know what's funny is I also have somebody messaging me for my name on Telegram, which is kinda hilarious because I don't use it a whole lot. And... Yeah. It... I didn't get a... I I didn't get a a ton, offer, though. I I got, I got cash offers. I've gotten Bitcoin offers, and it's always followed by a very legitimate looking link. So, yeah, you know, I encourage them. Keep coming around. Up that offer, and maybe someday we'll get to it. [0:06:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm saying, man. Hold on. I'm gonna read you something to you right before I just say what's up. I just wanna read everybody. I wanna read everybody the thread back and forth because it's really, like, it really is, like, that good. Hold on one second. Let me just scroll down and find... Here it is. Okay. So it's... It... The... His name is RealBender on, on Telegram, And he writes, hello, bro. At... Randomly, yesterday, out of the blue. So I write, who's that? And he writes, I really like your Telegram username and want to buy it at d c two l a. This handle, bro. I'm like, how much? I'll send you my Bitcoin wallet. I said $2. He goes, I can offer 4,000 ton via fragment.com, cue the link. So I wrote, oh, wow. That's so nice of you. Let me just send you my ToneKeeper wallet. How's that sound? He goes, for what? With help, Fragment, we can convert your username into a collectible NFT item. You know? And I go, send the funds, and I'll convert and send to you. Quote, trust me, bro. That's what I wrote. Trust me, bro. And then he writes dot dot dot. So I write, what happened? You don't trust me? Cue the second link, fragment.com forward slash telegram username d c two l a. Waiting your confirm, bro. I said, keep waiting, my g. Here's the ToneKeeper wallet address. Send tone. Trust me, bro. Listen, Fernando, Brent Fernando, please just send me the 4,000 ton. You know what I mean? I mean, you didn't have to do 4,000 ton. You could've done $2. I would've taken it, but it's fine. Sunny d, what's up? [0:08:20] Sunny D @dylN0chill: What's going on? Another beautiful day. Last day of the week for ATC. Haven't really paid attention to what's going on today, but I'm sure there's a lot. [0:08:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: You and me both, bro. I'm literally going through the stories as we speak, but you think... Guys, you think Cole forgot the day? [0:08:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yo. He's like, Friday. Hell yeah. [0:08:44] NathanXreality @thenathan: Getting ready [0:08:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: for the [0:08:45] NathanXreality @thenathan: weekend. Yeah. [0:08:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: He's like, this is fucking great. I love this shit, man. Thank god. Yes. I am not coming back to this. Whoo. Weekend off. Wait. Let me check my DMs real quick. Make sure that Cool didn't message me. There's probably a message in there from Cool. [0:09:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Nothing from Cool. Alright. Shout out Peace. Yo, Peace. I saw that I saw that that post in the STX group chat, man. I tried to amplify as best as I can, man. I'm sharing it in a bunch of different groups also to try and get it amplified, but, like, amazing job. Amazing work, bro. Like, I love everything you're doing on Diorganize. Guys, ATC is on Diorganize Media as well. I need to obviously get better at that, in utilizing that platform. But, yeah, man, Peace, I just wanted to give you your props, bro. Amazing, amazing job. I love everything you're doing at Diorganize. Guys, follow Peace. Make sure you're checking out Diorganize and everything he's doing out there. And he... You know, if you're lucky, maybe Landy will wear a badge and ditch the actual space that he's supposed to be in and and and show up on a on a on a de organized space. You never know. Anyways, Viper, what's good? Vince, what's good? Bildo, what is cooking? LJ. Kev, what up? Mickey, Andrew, what's good? Guys, feel free to come on up. Let's have an open convo today. It's last... Like, you know, the last one of the week. I know we got some stuff that we need to go over. I'm literally looking up stories as we speak. But general market sentiment, Landy, market's holding up pretty good as of from yesterday. My XRP bag is not down as much as I thought it would be, but it's actually holding up pretty good. I think I'm gonna hold on to this XRP. Yeah. [0:10:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's not too bad. You know, it... There was a little bit of a retrace. Bitcoin, obviously, some alts are holding up a little bit better than others, but it's not it's not really across the board. Some are getting pounded. But, you know, I would say that shorter term, if you're looking for price levels for for Bitcoin as the market leader, above $85,000 is going to be in the strong half of a... Of the zone, so to speak. For the short term, it needs to regain that 89 to 92 overhead. And, otherwise, you know, it could very well retest the lows, and it will take alts with it if it does. So for now, it's kind of like a wait and see, but we still got one more day to go, and, we'll see kinda how this plays out. Some alts, like Ethereum did slide back under, I think, two k. I haven't actually checked. I'm a little bit, discombobulated at the moment, but I will be checking actually, for a little bit later to take a look. [0:11:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, some stuff definitely retraced. My XRP bag, unfortunately... I mean, I don't say unfortunately. I'm... I am not the shortest, tenured XRP holder in history. As I said, if it went to $3 yesterday, I was definitely going to sell that shit, but I didn't. I held on to it. So, XRP army, I am still, yeah. I'm still an. Sunny d, talk to me, man. That space this morning was dope. You guys had Justin Sun on the space. Amazing work up there, dude. I love what you guys were talking about. What do we got looking? What's up... What... What's news in the in the Tron world, bro? [0:12:12] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Dude, I... Like, I don't know how you keep track of, like, everything across multiple chains. But real quick while this is on my mind, I just noticed that Caitlyn Jenner just created a banker bot banker bot thing. [0:12:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Viper, real quick before Sunny d continues. What say you, my friend? What's up, my bro? [0:12:36] Voice I: Let Sunny d cook. That's facts. Open it. [0:12:41] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yeah. I was I was just looking at the timeline. I'm like, I saw Caitlyn Jenner and added... Or she... Not it. She added banker bot, and I thought that was funny. I pasted the link in the comments down below. [0:12:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Sunny, just so you know, don't worry about the pronouns in this space. Okay? Like, we're pro Trump in here, so you're good. [0:13:05] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Okay. Yeah. And I don't like to hurt feelings unnecessarily. Caitlyn Jenner, if you're listening, thank you for creating a banker bot wallet. Much appreciated. Everybody appreciates it. [0:13:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hey. Caitlyn Jenner has more testosterone than Tim Walls, and that's a fact. And she's the one who said it, so I'll even use... I'll even refer to her the way she wants to be referred to. [0:13:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hairy balls? [0:13:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, bigger balls than Tim Walls. [0:13:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright, guys. Focus. Sorry, Sandeep. Go for it. We're gonna let you cook. What's up? Yeah. I mean, prongs just loaded, [0:13:41] Sunny D @dylN0chill: so they're just unleashing a multipronged strategy. They're all... He also is hinting at an ETF, which I guess that's kinda all the hype right now that the SEC got... I don't know. What what happened to them? Get the [0:13:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is it is it an algorithmic ETF, or is it a overcollateralized ETF? [0:14:04] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I don't know. All that I know is an ETF. He hinted that at... In the space. It was pretty cool, to be able to ask him a question. I asked him about, like, how does the World Liberty stuff all play into this? And he was like, well, it has to do with us collaborating with more USA based people and that, you know, some kind of generic billionaire treading on lightly kinda would answer. I guess Tron's on pump swap or on Solana now, so that's kinda cool. I don't really know what that entails. I guess it's just kinda easy if anybody wants to just hold Tron in your Phantom wallet, you can now do that. [0:14:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sandeep, tell us, how do you use Tron, like, for passive... I'm genuinely asking. No bullshit. Like, how do you actually... Like, you are seeing passive income on Tron. Is it staking the TRX? Like, what what what are you doing exactly? [0:15:02] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yep. So there's a multitude of ways, but the main one is just staking, and then you gain voting power. And when you vote for what's called the 27 super representatives, which are the validators of the of the network, You vote for the validators that then vote for which direction the chain goes in. So if they do, like, a a major upgrade, it goes to a vote. I think that is gonna get very competitive because we have... Nansen is a super representative now. Google Cloud is a super representative. I think finances. But when you're just a a holder, you can stake and you're in about, like, 5% daily. And then when you stake, you also gain things in order to do transactions. Smart contracts, there's two two components. It's bandwidth and energy. It's kinda like mana and power ups kinda. Like, when you when you play, like, a... Like, World Warcraft is always how I describe it. If you're like... If you cast spells, you only have so much mana in order to be able to cast spells. Same thing with doing transactions. So when you stake, you earn interest or daily dividends. And then the cool thing about it is you can, like, buy and sell your mana or your energy as well. So that's another passive income where there's platforms that have automated that process. So if you're just chilling and you have your TRX stake, you're earning your 5%, and then you can also sell your energy because it it rejuvenates every twenty four hours. So there's a there's a whole market within the Tron ecosystem just for resources. And then you also have DeFi on JustLend, where you can stake a multitude of different assets and earn interest and take ones and collateral and all that sort of stuff. [0:16:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: So the DeFi game is actually... It sounds pretty strong from where... I guess, like, from listening to you now. Like, I guess just being in the Sunpump ecosystem, a lot of times, like, when you just see the meme coin stuff, you don't really see, like, the DeFi aspect of a lot of things. But sounds like there's some there's some pretty built out stuff over there. [0:17:15] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yeah. I use it as my home base, and it's, like, my personal bank. And then if I wanna go play around on other chains, I I just can borrow from my own assets and then send you an exchange, swap it, play around. That's why when Trump came out, I was like, oh, I don't really know about... It just makes it so I don't have to touch my core portfolio that's over there. Yeah. So I can... But it's really useful. It's fast. I get free transactions, so I love it. [0:17:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Amazing, man. I love that. Cool. Just came through. Cool. What's good, bro? Did you think it was Friday? [0:17:54] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. But I... My my phone died, and I was trying get my charger, so I kinda lost track of this phone stuff. Yeah. But I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. Didn't forget. That's the charger. Because I can't one. I got one. I'm on now. So [0:18:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you got the low... You got the Dave low battery blues? Oh, no. That's what I call web three. Yes. You are now [0:18:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, you're both... My my phone's always dead. Computer's dead. Phone's dead because I use them all the time, and they just... So that's why I'm always dead, bro. [0:18:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. See, Bildo, Metabees was right. The low battery blues. Like, now that's what I call web three is, like, a thing now. Like, this is it. Bildo, what's good, bro? [0:18:32] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Happy Thursday, I think. Been a very busy couple days, but... Yeah. Saw the invite. Wanted to come up and say hello. And, yeah, Metabeast killed it with... You know, that's what I call web three. Like, such a great idea for, like, an album and then, yeah, knocked a lot of the songs out of the park. [0:18:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hell, yeah. Yeah. You did. Meta Beast, I just shot you an invite. And, guys, maybe we can make this formal formal announcement now, but Meta Beast is now the ATC official metaverse contributor at this point. We do not have one. I trust Meta Beast implicitly other than his sock choices or his lack thereof, and living in the jinkiest of Hollywood. Metabeast is an absolute gem, and I think you will contribute amazing things to this show. We don't talk about the metaverse enough out here, and it is directly correlated with crypto and what people are building. Obviously, like, build on everything with future verse. And now I think with you, decentral, and I think we'll have a really good base of coverage around here. We just need... Now we just need somebody in Sandbox, but I don't really know who's in Sandbox according to Meta Beast Buildo to be perfectly honest. Like, what the hell are doing with your life if you're in Sandbox? But Metabeast, welcome, man, and thank you for being our regular contributor now, man. What's up? [0:19:54] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Oh, shit. Thank you. Thank... I'm I'm excited. [0:20:01] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: That... Bill O's got his root network in the future verse. The metaverse in general is my passion, so I appreciate it. [0:20:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Don't worry about it. It's not like an acceptance speech or anything. [0:20:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: I just wanted to see how [0:20:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: you were doing. What's up? [0:20:14] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: It was short. It was short [0:20:15] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: and sweet. [0:20:18] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yes, sir. You're all nervous and, like, at a loss of words. Like, I I I can't believe I got this position. [0:20:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Some people covet the... Listen to me. Some people are not like you. You know what I mean? People like you appreciate things. You understand? Like, maybe Meta Beast was just like, you know what? Thank you. Thank you so much. Although, below, say thank you every...... [0:20:40] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Gratitude of, like, having a completely packed panel on your WagMeUp space, and the person that introduced you to all of those people doesn't get any recognition or any appreciation. Like, is that what you're talking about? Like, that type of appreciation, Dave? [0:20:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. That's exactly what I'm talking about. And although he didn't introduce... He introduced me, like, 10% of them. You know what mean? Like, the ones that we need to get paid on. [0:21:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know I'm saying? Like, we [0:21:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: need to get these motherfuckers to get paid on. Pay, pay me. [0:21:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Show me the money. [0:21:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Show me the money. Great segue, by the way. Tomorrow, guys, WagMe Hub, I got a banger of a space. I'm... We're cohosting. I got Eliza OS that is cohosting with me on that space, and we have the who's who of the AI world tomorrow. So definitely tune in. I'm gonna pin it up to the top. But, guys, my favorite kickoff story before we even go anywhere. You know what it is? And by the way, you know what I just learned too? It... It's a pump fun story. Yeah. We're gonna talk about pump swap for a second, because I hope they crash, burn, and die. But either way, do you know what I noticed? If this doesn't signal to you that you are literally throwing your money in the garbage, the PumpFund Twitter account has 412,100 followers. Okay? Do you know how many people they're following? Zero. Not a single person. Not a single protocol. They could give two fucks about any of you. Nobody. Give me your money. Let me deposit on Kraken. Let me extract your money. That's it. Literally. That's it. In what world do you see a Twitter account that follows zero people? Zero. Anyways, we're still gonna cover this because I think it's worth noting because I learned some things by reading this, and I was like, oh my god. This is how they made all their money. Pump swap. Pump's new native decks, aka Sayonara Radium, like we talked about a few days ago. Hence why you saw the massive dip in Radium, and now they're doing their own thing, which we reported on two days ago. Beginning now, all coins that complete their bonding curve will migrate directly to pump swap. That's what it's called. Instant my... It enables instant migrations, zero migration fees. By the way, it says down from 6 SOL. I had absolutely no idea that they took 6 SOL every single time you were migrating from the bonding curve to the... What's it called? To to Radium. 6 soul. At the height, that's almost $2,000 every single token that migrates. When you're launching 7,000 tokens a day, no wonder these guys made $500,000,000 and decided to extract and run. Are you kidding me? Here's more though in case you wanna throw your money away. It's a decentralized exchange built on Solana, functions similarly to Radium v four and Uniswap v two through its constant product AMM. Create your own liquidity pool for free. Landy's already probably done that. Add to existing liquidity pools and trade all pump swap tokens. Swap.pump.fund. Why did we build this, they say? Our goal was to create the most frictionless environment for trading coins. Migrations were a major point of friction. They slow a coin's momentum and introduce needless complexity for new users. Now migrations happen instantly and for free. You know why? They're literally bringing fees to zero because they're like, oh, shit. Now that we migrated, Radium's gonna build their own shit, which they have. And they're now saying, we gotta kinda hold on to the degenerates that we currently have. So, yeah, don't worry. We're not gonna charge you yet. And I promise you, just like we talked about this LinkQ shit yesterday or whatever the fuck that was, there is a catch somewhere that once they get you in and once you've migrated, those fees are gonna be tacked on someplace else. I can almost... I'll never guarantee anything, but I can... I'm almost 99% sure they're gonna make up those fees someplace else. Because remember what we said. When it comes to grifters, scammers, this, that... Look. PumpFun people are gonna gamble. Like, they're not doing anything wrong. But this kind of shit, they're greedy, and they're lazy. That's it. Greed is the number one thing. I'm done off the soapbox. Cool. Tell me that I'm... Like, what is... What's the deal here, man? [0:25:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. No. I saw the news, man. It's interesting. So it's it's a all all out battle between and and and and and radio. They don't like each other. I'm seeing tweets. You know, they're attacking. Dez are going back and forth. I think competition is good. It's good, But they're not doing this for us. They're doing this to make to make more money, man. That's that simple. They're doing this to make anything better. That's that's about the bullshit. But, yeah, man, I I guess I'm I'm... I don't... I haven't really been on pom pom, but I I just... It's just fascinating to me, man, how how, how the game is now. It's just... It's crazy, man. I mean, they're to make money so it's cool, but it's... Like I said, I I like competition. It's good. But at the same time, I would love if it was competition for building a next crazy DeFi project that onboard web web two people. This is this is not really what we want, mate, in my opinion. I think the memes are good, but you you don't want your chains. We know for just... They're just meme con trading, man. That's not only beef with with with with this, but Peloton and Radium and a lot more, they're gonna keep battling for users. But we've all seen what happens. The moments the market goes down, people lose so much money, man. Before before I pass the mic, I saw a tweet. This is, like, like, a month ago. This user got into with, like, $510. He made, like, 10,000,000 and lost it all, man. Lost it all. So... But that's the kind of shit you you experience over there. And I don't know. It's just... I I, you know, I prefer buying projects that make sense. You could gamble. No problem. But I don't have that kind of mental strength to deal with. Can you imagine going in with nothing, building up your portfolio to 10,000,000 and go back to 0 again? I mean, that... That's that's why... That's kind of shit that people commit suicide over. So I'm not a fan of punk for what I get. They're making money. I get the onboard users, but I just don't like the... I mean, we... I think, Dave, you you mentioned... I think the... If you if you make 10 k on PongFun, you are amongst the 0.01% of traders that make 10 k, which means people don't make money over there. It's just... It's it's it's all it's all garbage. It's all a lot of people laughing on on on Twitter. People don't make money up on from... Most people lose money. It's just the insiders, the early developers that get in at the beginning that make money. So... But like I said before, you know, the positive side is in... It does onboard users. Sword, all these users lose a lot of money, which we don't want. That's what that's what causes the markets to dip the way it does, man. Just people just get so bearish, man. And... But like I said, it's a game that that that we play, and you just move with the wind, man. [0:28:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: They call it the slaughterhouse for a reason. You literally have 50 times better odds of going to... Walking into a casino and sitting down at the blackjack table. I shit you not. Legit. Go to a baccarat table. Like like, those are the best odds in the casino. Like, what are we doing out here? Like, this is crazy, but people are just... I guess, once you... Once they get the hooking, it's like a drug. They got the hook in people, and now it's like, that's it. Now we're gonna keep coming back. Now you need that... You scratching your neck. And you're like, ugh. I need that fixed real quick. You know? That's what it is right now, man. It's true. It's crazy. Landy, you wanna chime in on this? And I wanna go to Viper for BankerBot, and then wanna say what's up to Coleman and Travis. [0:28:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. You you got any of that? [0:29:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Like, yeah, man. Come here, man. Come here. I guess you should come here. [0:29:06] Trav @trav_4211: Yo. Yo. I knew y'all was talking about Solana. [0:29:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So [0:29:11] Landy @CryptoLandy: here's the thing. Here... When you're when you're talking about this kind of stuff, obviously, every other coin launch platform, Bonny Curve platform has copied or attempted to copy what PumpFund has done. These things are not gonna go away. That's why Radium is doing their own. Obviously, there's a rift between the Radium and PumpFund teams. PumpFund, very highly extractive. And it's never gonna go away. And now they're just offering liquidity pools in that manner. I can tell you that even on Pump fund directly, I didn't I didn't make a ton of money off of Pump fund directly. It was always either after the bonding curves were hit and and those metrics were fulfilled, that's when we were able to actually get things in order. But that's where it's that's where it's gonna get interesting because how do they actually... Providing liquidity is a big deal, and it's a big game. So it's a matter of how is it implemented when it is implemented. And my bet is is that they're also, at some point, going to launch a coin. There's no way they don't at this point because they're gonna they're gonna have some way in which they're going to up the liquidity for general pools, for swaps, and, like, all that kind of stuff. They're gonna have to. [0:30:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's gonna... I mean, greed. That's it. Like, they're gonna get to a point where they're like, revenues are down. The gamblers aren't coming back like they used to. Right? Because they're not... There's there's no way they're gonna see the success that they saw. And when you're used to making that kind of money, you resort to some crazy ass things. So you're gonna see some wild ideas come out of this space. I'm telling you right now because guys like this need to... Like, it's a money game. That's it. Like, it it doesn't matter how many zeros, how many commas. They just... It's just... It's to a point where the dollar doesn't even have a value anymore. It's just like, I need to win, and I need to keep winning. And that's the crazy thing out here. It's like nobody is... A lot of... Like, you got builders out here that are selfless, and and when when you really hear, like, me, Buildo, talk about, like, this decentralized AI shit, these are people that give a fuck about this space. They give a shit about your data. They give a shit about how you get paid. Right? Don't care. They really don't. So I don't know. I guess we'll see what's gonna happen, but, yeah. You know, we'll we'll we'll we'll go from there, but good take, Lindy. Viper, what is good, my bro? [0:31:41] VIPERɳϝƚ.base.eth🖍️ @VIPERnftDOTeth: Never forget the smell of fear from the casino. That's what I think of the last story. But let's go into something fun and banker bot. So I love you too, Evan. [0:31:53] VIPERɳϝƚ.base.eth🖍️ @VIPERnftDOTeth: Sorry. With... I don't know if you know Jack Wilde from Must and Tony Hawk. They do a podcast, so they have Deployer on. So it's kind of rare [0:32:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: that we can hear. Yeah. Yeah. [0:32:05] VIPERɳϝƚ.base.eth🖍️ @VIPERnftDOTeth: Show. I got to learn... Like, as much as I follow him, I got to learn some shit too. So recommend that one. It looks like Banker Club is launching tomorrow. It is... I pinned it up to that. I know. 20 ish, but you're gonna either do the monthly or the annual, and there's two different NFTs for it for the first 1,000 people and the impacts. There's a not pinned tweet too. I don't wanna speak to it because I don't know it off the hook. But on that, I'm gonna eat dinner, and you guys check that out. And I'll hop in in a bit. [0:32:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: You got it. Appreciate it, bro. Thank you. Koma, what's good? [0:32:43] Kkoma @itskkoma: Not much, man. Dude, do you ever sleep? Like, I was up really late yesterday, and saw you up at my time at, like, two, three in the morning or something listening to, like, some, like, rave music, slap... [0:32:57] NathanXreality @thenathan: Sleep is for the weak. TS, though. [0:33:00] Kkoma @itskkoma: Seriously I seriously think, like, everyone in crypto sleeps, like, three to six hours [0:33:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: a day. Actually, like, if if you're old like me, you fall asleep at eight and wake up at three. I I literally fell asleep at eight at 8PM, bro. I was done with ATC. I went to go eat. I literally had a chicken sandwich. After that, lay down in bed out cold. So it's one or the other, though. Normally, that's... Those are the hours I was keeping probably two years ago during the bear market. I was like, I need to figure that. I gotta work harder than everybody else. But now now I just fall asleep like an old dude, bro. [0:33:29] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Maybe. But if you ever wanna see Unhinged Dave, you know, you gotta you gotta stay up, like, pretty late at night just because he'll he'll join these spaces with, three people, and, like, that's when the real Dave comes out, guys. Not this... [0:33:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Those are those are my people. Yeah. Those are my people. Shout out to KC for popping open a space. Listen. At the end of the day, bro, like, that's what's... We're talking EDC. I was talking about how we're gonna go from EDC directly to Bitcoin Vegas. Come on, bro. Like, you gotta live a little out here. You know? You're only as young as you feel. [0:33:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: Exactly. Exactly. But, no, I I was listening to the Radium and PumpFun thing. I think Radium's just gonna get wrecked, dude. Like like, the way PumpFun's doing it, it's... People are used to using PumpFun, and they don't even really care what happens behind the scene. You know what I mean? But Radium trying to do something where... What pump on it... What is doing is gonna be so much harder because at the end of the day, like, people are just gonna use what they're familiar with unless there's, like, some crazy incentive. But you go with what you're comfortable with. And, like, they don't even... Like, does anyone really care about pools? Like, you just want you just you just want chart to go up and sell at top. Right? So, like, idea... I I I don't know. I feel like Radeon's gonna get slaughtered, to be honest. [0:34:40] NathanXreality @thenathan: Yeah. Even though... Even besides the chart just going up, it's just, like, ease of deployment. Just, like, less... The least amount of clicks to just getting your your, you know, your new coin up. And and that's... Yeah. It's all about the UX too. [0:34:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: David, what's up? [0:34:54] Kkoma @itskkoma: Don't even care. It's like, it's... As long as it just... Even going to Radium, I don't think people even knew. They probably... I'm sure, like, 50 per... 60... Maybe even 70% of people using BumpFund don't even know what Radium is. [0:35:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: They have no fucking clue, bro. It's just migrate, migrate, migrate, and be done. It's just like just number That's it, bro. Yeah. But, Nathan, what's up, man? Like, welcome to the stage. It's my first time having you up here, man. What's good? [0:35:14] NathanXreality @thenathan: How are doing, Dave? Nice to to hear your voice again as always. And, yeah, thanks for having me. [0:35:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Missed you, bro. What's new? Is everything good? [0:35:23] NathanXreality @thenathan: Absolutely. Just enjoying some finally sunny weather here out in New York as the the spring slash summer comes. And, yeah, I've been traveling back and forth between the coasts. I'm doing a lot of work for Netflix right now, and, yeah, it's just chilling, trying to live life. [0:35:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Must be fucking nice. Look at you, Netflix. Okay. Okay. I like it. Well, good, man. Good to see. It's good to hear your voice again, bro. We gotta link up. I'm in New York too, bro. Like, what are we doing? [0:35:50] NathanXreality @thenathan: Absolutely, dude. I'll... Yeah. I would love to take you out for a drink and just, yeah, fucking catch up. [0:35:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's do it, bro. Let's do it. Let's do it. 100%. But good shit, man. Welcome. I think it's your first time on ATC too, so good shit. I'm happy to have you are This thing seems [0:36:03] NathanXreality @thenathan: popping, dude. Like, you can grow... Like, tell me about ATC. Like, what if I what if I missed for, like, in forever, dude? What... What's what's good with this awesome space? You know? [0:36:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, like, we've been running this now, I think, going on almost, like, seven, eight months. Meet Cool, Nat Nat, these amazing contributors that you see up here on a regular basis, Monday through Friday, 05:30 to seven. Everything... It's literally like the title says. I mean, I wanted to name it something else. When me and Cole first had the idea to do this, I wanted to name it Blockchain Bahamas, but he was like, the fuck are you talking about, you idiot? And I was like, what? [0:36:35] NathanXreality @thenathan: I like the alliteration. I like the alliteration. [0:36:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right? Like, I don't know. I thought that sounded good, but I I can see why, like, it would kinda mislead people. But all things crypto is kinda self explanatory, and I'm kinda glad we went that way. So... Yeah. [0:36:47] NathanXreality @thenathan: Yeah. If there's one thing that would inspire confidence in money or anything financial, it's probably Bahamas as well as It's [0:36:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: good point. And then... Yeah. And then everything that happened with with SPF. Yeah. Now that I'm thinking about it, cool. Good good call. Cool. Yeah. Sometimes it pays to have some real much smarter people around you than yourself. So, yeah, good shit. Real quick before I go say what's up to Trav. Sunny d, I heard you today sounding smoother than a mofo on the Tron space. Is there a new microphone in your life? [0:37:20] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Not right now, but I I definitely figured out that I can use my mic with my computer. And so if that sounded good, thanks. Because I was actually gonna ask you, how'd that sound? [0:37:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: You sounded like Barry White, bro. I was like, goddamn. I was like, these sexy mofos up here. Look at this. And then you had then you had the HTX girl being like, hey, Travis. I love your tattoos. I was messaging Carrie like, yo. You better cut these hoes. I don't know what the hell is going on out here. You better you better check these hoes. Travis, what's good, bro? [0:37:53] Trav @trav_4211: Hey. Yo. Hey. Yo. And what up, Dave? Hey. Long time, bro. [0:37:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: No, man. It's good to hear your voice, my brother. What's good? [0:38:01] Trav @trav_4211: Not much, man. I I said, man, I gotta start getting back with Dave on his faces, so here I am. But... Hey. Yo. I didn't know you was listening. [0:38:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, all day... Because you know that's my regular time slot, I was just like... [0:38:15] Trav @trav_4211: Yeah. Hey. Hey. Look. I was thrown off a little bit because you weren't on it. I was expecting you to be there. [0:38:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, man. I mean, me me too. I got told, a last minute deal. I was like, guys, we're at camp. We're rescheduling this... Our space today, and I'm like, wait a minute. I show that there's a space. I don't see my name on it. So for those that are wondering what the fuck we're talking about, I normally run the Thursday Sun Pump spaces, right, every week in, week out, every Thursday, eight, nine, eight, whatever, 9AM now with the time change. And today, it was Sun Pump with HTX as a cohost. Of course, the day that we get canceled, Justin Sun comes on the show. There's half a million listeners, and I'm just like, what in the actual f is happening right now? I messaged the Sun Pump squad, and I'm like, why can't y'all make this happen when I'm here? And then I'm thinking to myself, this is a reflection moment where I need to look in the mirror and just say to myself, maybe you're just not the guy that they want talking to Justin's son. So if you... As long as that man continues to sign my checks, I'm a shut the fuck up, go about my business, and continue to host whenever they tell me to host out here. You know what I mean, Travis? That's it. [0:39:22] Trav @trav_4211: I feel you, Dave. Hey. But the energy is different when you're there. I mean, to be honest with you, that's what they need to do. You need to have that that energy on all of those spaces because that's what's gonna bring people into the community. You need that excitement. You need that energy. I mean, you know, nothing against the girls. They just you you can just tell that they're going off of a script. You know what I'm saying? And that's how they do. [0:39:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. [0:39:46] Trav @trav_4211: And and with us... With you, it's it's it's it's free flowing, but it's entertainment. That's what you need. This is an attention economy. Right? [0:39:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes, sir. A 100%. But look, I think you guys did an incredible... I listened to about 85% of the space. Right? I had a call. I had to jump on at ten... Like, at 10:00, but I... You guys seized the opportunity up there. I love what you guys were talking about. I'm so glad that you guys finally got some airtime, which I don't know if that's your guys', is, like, first time talking to Justin in forever. I think you guys spoke to him, like, a while ago. But [0:40:17] Trav @trav_4211: Yeah. It was a long time. [0:40:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, man. I'm really glad that you guys got a little bit of airtime, and I'm hoping that he does breathe life back into that entire Tron, like, at least meme ecosystem and that, you know, you guys definitely get to do that you deserve. You know what I mean? [0:40:29] Trav @trav_4211: Look. I... Look. I mean, I definitely think it's gonna happen, but I told him, you know, right there on the space, you gotta pump sun. If you pump sun, the people are gonna come, and you're gonna enrich the base community that that hold a lot of damn Sun, and that'll roll into Sun pump of set... Itself and be the motor for it all. You gotta do it. You gotta pump Sun. Five. [0:40:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Hey. Hey. Hey, Jeff. Did I heard that he sees a ETF for Tron. Is that is that real? Is that true? [0:41:01] Trav @trav_4211: Look. That's what Justin posted. So if he posted it, it must be in the works. [0:41:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I saw that too cool. He said Tron ETF coming. So Yeah. I think we... Yeah. I think we're gonna see a lot of different ETFs that are coming, man. Trump didn't really say much today at the crypto assets... At the digital asset summit. I don't know if you wanted to comment there. I didn't really hear much, but, yeah, the Tron ETF is... Like, look. There's one thing I've learned is, like, when you hear dudes like Justin Sun announce shit like that, like, they're following through. Like, especially, like, what I've realized too, reason the why I wasn't on that space today is because the Asian market is very different than the American or any other market that's out here. Right? They are extremely structured. People might call it old school, but they need to know what they're getting into. It's the reason why Tron is the dominator of stablecoins because the business is not sexy, but it's necessary. And they understand this more and bet... And and probably better than anyone out here. Everyone's chasing these million dollar, billion dollar things when Justin's like, yo. Slow and steady. I know I see a need here. And for that, I can't fault the dude, man. He's a smart mo... Like, he's a smart fucking guy. And that's the bottom line, man. That that really is it. So the... Like, people that are sleep... Like, that are sleeping on Tron, it is what it is, but I guess we'll see. Nathan, I can add you. It's giving me an error. Let me see. Can I add Nathan? Oh, no. Okay. I [0:42:26] Kkoma @itskkoma: got him. [0:42:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you're back. I got [0:42:27] Sunny D @dylN0chill: you back. Question for Buildo real quick. Or anybody that's in the the Taproot... Is Tapprotocol, is that the same thing as Taproot? [0:42:38] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I have no idea. It's not associated with the root network that I am invested in. I think it's something different or at least not something that I am aware of. [0:42:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's gotta be a landy question. TAP protocol and TAP root are two different things. TAP root's Bitcoin. Yeah. [0:42:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Tap is a protocol on Bitcoin, but there's also Taproot, but that's all Bitcoin. [0:43:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Not sure where that came from, Sunnyd. From left field, ladies and gentlemen. Sunnyd. [0:43:09] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I just knew that they knew stuff about Taproot. I wasn't sure. There was another integration. We were on the Tron topic, and I... For a minute, I thought that Tron had done an integration with Taproot, but it was with Taproot. [0:43:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Might be there there might be some... Something coming. That might be what they're referring to is, you know, utilizing the... If if you have a Bitcoin Taproot address, which you do, in general. If you're creating a a new address, in most cases, you get a payment wallet address or an... A Taproot address. Often, they're called Ordinals addresses. If they were talking about any of that stuff and using the actual Tap protocol, that would be kinda wild. If they're gonna expand out to Bitcoin or anything like that, that'd be bullish. I mean, I know that there's a lot of bullish things going on at the moment, surrounding what Justin is doing, and he's making a lot of moves. So could very well be a Taproot thing. I'd have to actually go look into it or or or go back and listen. [0:44:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Do you know what I just saw? And I'm gonna say... I wanna say what's up to Alex really quickly also. You know, but, Trav, it was great to... Sunny, did you just put a put a pin in that? Like, I love hearing you guys on there today, man. Like, more and more and more of that, like, for real. I just wanna say great job, boys. For real. Amazing, amazing job. And, Carrie, [0:44:25] Trav @trav_4211: go Yes, sir. [0:44:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Go cut those holes. [0:44:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Good stuff. Alex, what is good? How are you? [0:44:37] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Hey, man. Find me a space. Somebody had a space. Woo. [0:44:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Alex is the junkie we were talking about. She's like, hey, man. I need a space, man. There's space open, man. [0:44:54] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I hopped in... So I hopped in earlier into this Canadian economic space, which was super funny. So I I shared it with my with my my subscribers, which was really funny. So, like, it immediately doubles in size. And and it's supposed to be about Canada and Canadian economics, and I'm like, this American who comes in. It was so funny. And and so the Canadian economist left when I, like, had... Just after I came in. And and so I shared it in the space, and I'm like, hop into this Canadian space with me. And one of the subscribers is like, they're so they're so polite. You know? Like, even when they hate what you're saying, like, they're so polite about everything. And I was like, I know. It's so... They're so nice about everything. It was really funny. [0:45:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: So You Canadians. Stop being nice. [0:45:46] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I was I was mainlining space there, but I, like... So my daughter is home today, so I, like, can't have a space because I might have to hop off. And I was like, I don't wanna fucking start a space because it's it's work to do a space. I didn't advertise it. Nobody knows when I start a space. You know, it's like I have to tell people that I start a space, and then I, like, have to ping them that I'm like, dude, I'm in a space. And then people are like, oh, you have a space. How nice for you. Let's all join. Right? So it takes a while. And and I was like, I just wanna talk about the news, but I got this kid who's got a tummy ache at home. So I don't know that I can, like, you know, host a whole space. So [0:46:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Wait. I I I want... I wanna tell... I I don't know if you came yesterday, but [0:46:35] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I couldn't. [0:46:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: I I I know. I know. But I'm saying I don't if you had a chance to, like, listen back to the intro, but Junie roasted every single contributor we had, and I didn't know if you were gonna come yesterday or not. I mean, I tagged you in the post or whatever, but Junie cooked every single person you included. And I don't know if you heard it, and I was just curious if you wanted to hear it. [0:46:53] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I wasn't even there, and you roasted me. [0:46:56] NathanXreality @thenathan: Yeah. Exactly. [0:46:58] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Was that, like, preemptive roast? [0:47:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I mean, there was the... Because you might. You know what I mean? So I have to, like, anticipate. [0:47:05] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: You know? You did it just in case I came to the space. [0:47:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. I'm like, in case she does show up, I need it. And plus, it was also funny because I got to cook Landy at the same time as well. So, yeah, it was kind of like the... It it was kind of the same thing. But do do do you wanna do you wanna hear it? [0:47:22] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: No, man. You're too thirsty for it. [0:47:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn it. [0:47:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Fuck. Okay. Fine. I'll play [0:47:26] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: with it. You really, really, really want me to hear it. [0:47:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: So I really do. I really do. [0:47:31] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: You're in this back channel thing, and he's like, listen to my listen to my intro, my promo. Listen to my promo. Listen to my promo, everybody. Anybody wanna hear a cool promo? There's, like, crickets. Why you're [0:47:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: a cool promo? No. I hear Alex. Alex, you... Yo. Dave, [0:47:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alex is [0:47:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: jumping into critique your pitch right now. She is totally gonna rip your pitch apart about this promo. [0:47:51] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: No. I'm not. But, dude, he preemptively roasted I did... Not only did I do nothing, I wasn't even there for it. [0:48:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now now that's it. [0:48:04] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Get to do [0:48:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: that, don't I? No. No. You don't. It's impossible. It's because you have a sick kid at home. You weren't able to open up your own space. Therefore, you are in our space. So that means that we can call the shots here, and we can... You know what? I'm not gonna play. Let's talk about the news. I'm gonna spare you because then it's gonna lead to a whole conversation between you and Landy for seventeen fucking hours, and it's gonna be a nightmare. But, you know, it is what it is. Hopefully, this... Hopefully, the news doesn't. But I'm just prepping everybody for it. Nathan, just trust me. Do not... With anything you do, just interrupt Alex and Landy. If the two of them start having a conversation, anyone on the stage is free to interrupt the two of them at any moment in time. So this way, we can continue with more stories. Okay? Because if not, we're gonna talk about one thing for the next forty seven minutes. Alright. I'm glad we set those ground rules. [0:48:49] NathanXreality @thenathan: Yeah. Did you, did [0:48:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: you hear about the whole pump fun thing yet? I know I'm a little late. I'm about to [0:48:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: For fuck's sake, gamer. Take it easy. Oh my goodness. You see? This is it. But, guys, look. Look look what I just... I'm in the far... I don't if anybody else is in the Farcaster Telegram. Then, like, what just came across the wire says, Solana airdrops are coming soon. It's in the Farcaster telegram. Connect your Solana wallet to be eligible. I think I'm in the right Farcaster telegram. I don't think I'm in, like, a Fugazi one. You know how there's, like, those knock off ones? I think... I'm pretty sure this is the real one. Can anybody just confirm that I'm, like, [0:49:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: bad at I I thought Focast was on base, bro. [0:49:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. It did Okay. That's what I'm saying. So I'm just like, wait a minute. What? This doesn't make any sense. Right? Obviously what [0:49:34] Kool @koolcryptovc: I'm saying. Mean Let's just walk. Fox is a is a base base base base heavy, protocol. So that makes no sense. I don't know. [0:49:44] Kkoma @itskkoma: But that makes no sense. If you if you if you feel like clicking that, just just donate to my wallet address. You know? Might as well. You're pretty much doing the same thing. [0:49:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: But, like your name? [0:49:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. For 4,000 tone. Cool. You weren't here at the beginning. I was telling the story that there was a dude in the audience here. I don't if he's... Is he still here? Let me see. Oh, yeah. So look all the way down there. His name is Brent Fernando. Okay. And Brent Fernando or somebody with that same PFP messages me on Telegram and goes, hey, man. I wanna... I love your name. I wanna buy your name. And I'm like, at d c two l a? You want my... You want that name? And he's like, yeah. I'm like, alright. $2. And he goes, I'll give you 4,000 ton. And I'm like, oh, okay. Cool. Sweet. Let me get my wallet for you. And he was like, no. No. No. I need you to click on this link at fragment because we need to turn it into an NFT and da da da. And I'm like, listen. I'm gonna send you my ToneKeeper wallet. Send the 4,000 ton. Trust me, bro. Just trust me. And he writes dot dot dot. And I'm like, what? You're not gonna send the 4,000 ton? He's like, like, no. I I need... Sends the link again. And I'm like, man, this is unfortunate. We could have done a deal. The... At d c two l a could have been yours, that coveted coveted name. The fuck is wrong with these scammers nowadays? I don't even know anymore. And why is he still in my space, and why do I let him still stay in my space? I don't know either, but it is what it is. Meta Beast, what's up? [0:51:07] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: So I hope I'm not derailing anything, but this leads me to something I've been looking into today. And I'm I'm wondering if you guys... Anybody's heard of anything about this, but it's the story blockchain. And it's about IP rights. I see a thumbs down. [0:51:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: So No. No. Don't don't listen to Nathan. Okay. Okay. IP. We talk about story protocol here all the time. So don't Okay. Don't don't don't follow [0:51:33] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: those Awesome. Awesome. [0:51:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: So IP story protocol is fucking... Is cooking. Cool is accumulating. Samara was accumulating. I'm not telling anybody go out here, buy, do whatever, but just know that people... Like, for anybody listening, the people here on stage are actually holders of IP just so we know. Cool. What... Nathan, do you wanna chime in on story? Why were you thumbs down, by the [0:51:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I mean, I... That's what I'm saying. It's Bush, man. Bush, it's been probably one of the best performing crypto assets in the past two months... Past month, like, month and a half. Yes. Story protocol is doing well. I mean, they have a very very bullish narrative behind them. I don't think any blockchain is doing what they're doing or tokenize the IP that's something, you know, groundbreaking is new. So none of... Well, people are bullish on story protocol, 100%, bro, for sure. [0:52:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: Alright. Not to be, like, the opposite because I I wanna get it to story protocol, but I I actually don't know any apps to use there. But do you guys know anyone actually using the IP and doing something with it? I'm I'm just genuinely curious. [0:52:39] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. They they are... I have... I am staking some story. There's still some stuff. There's some stuff to do there. You could also tokenize your your IP if you choose to. I don't have the link on me, but what I... What what what I... What I've done is I went to DeFi Llama and just typed in a story broker where you see all the all the projects built built... Building on story. But they... But you could... There's a lot to do there. Right? It's just... They're not too loud, too sexy right now, but it's very bullish, man, for sure. [0:53:12] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: I am actually looking at this. I have a a character I've created that I'm looking to put on there right now. So [0:53:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love this meta beast. Tell me more. So, like, I would love to hear... Because comma's right. And comma, like, I I never want, like, just to greet people that come up and agree, bro. Like, this this is what this space is for, FYI. So, yeah, I would love to hear if anybody obviously has some insight. Alex, do you have insight here on on any of this on story protocol and anybody who's using it and and kinda tokenizing their IP? [0:53:43] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Well, I'm looking at it right now. So here's the deal. So fundamentally, tokenizing IP is the core of DSI. Right? So there's, I mean, there's a ton of value in in what IP is and what the value is. But there's a lot of issues in how that actually happens and how it's held, how it's distributed, and what that IP fundamentally is. Right? So story is is... It looks like it's focusing almost exclusively on creative IP. That is some of the... And I'd mean no offense to anyone. Right? That's some of the weakest IP. Right? That's a lot of stuff like copyright IP. There's very little patent IP. There's a little bit of trademark IP in there. But a lot of that stuff, you know, you've gotta have a ton of marketing behind it in order to find real value. So when you think about really valuable, creative IP in there, you think about stuff like, let's say, Disney. Right? Well, Disney's a marketing machine. It's not about Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh. It's about all the shit that you buy that's Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh that's branded and sold at kids. That's hundreds of millions of dollars per year. Right? It's the marketing machine behind it. So it's not the IP. Right? The IP is the package that allows all that marketing to exist. But without the power of that marketing, that IP is worthless. Right? So, the the... Fundamentally, most creatives, and I teach this in workshops. Right? Most creatives don't have a really solid understanding of, business and business strategy. And and that's the biggest problem is that there's no real issue in creatives taking out the middleman, you know, the gallery owners and the record labels. The problem is they're not filling in the knowledge of what those people did to provide all the value to whatever the... You know, they they did for the creative. So you gotta fill in that information of what did all these people who were adding value, what did they do to give more value to that creative construct? Right? Because songs don't have value unless people hear them and buy them, like, a monetary value. Right? I'm not saying about, like, creative moral value, whatever. It's... I'm just saying monetary value comes from a whole lot of other things. The other side of IP value, which is, you know, patent rights, things like that, there's tons of value in there, but a lot of that is covered in other areas, and you don't really need, necessarily story chain. I don't know that story chain. I don't know. Like, I'm trying to figure out what they're doing to hold and transfer rights that's unique or different. Right? Because fundamentally, all of this comes into RWA. Right? Real world assets, which is the future of DeFi. Right? The future of of all of the stuff that we've been doing for the last few years, NFTs, which are baskets of rights. Fundamentally, what have we been creating? Assets. Right? What's the future of blockchain? It's creating an asset based economy. Right? A way for people to fund things using assets rather than debt. So, this IP is just another form of asset, But a lot of the investable asset, pre marketing and teams and all of that stuff is really in this other stuff where you've got stuff like, you know, patentable stuff or you've got stuff that's, like, algorithmic or things like that. And those kinds of things have more fundamental value and the idea... The the issue there is how securely are they being held. Right? How are they being offered? What's being done in order to add value? All that stuff has to be investigated. Why is this chain better than another chain? Like, why would you wanna use Story versus Ethereum where there's already a ton of other community or Solana where it's very cheap, you know, or, you know, Avalanche where you can already, like, transfer it into a bunch of budding DeFi activities or something like that. You have to look at where's the chain that is actually going to promote the underlying activity that's most useful. If your science activity... If you're doing DeSci, I see a lot of people doing DeSci based on US chains, but a lot of the research is actually being done in Asia. Use an Asian chain. Right? Do that because that's where a lot of the researchers, the companies are, etcetera. Use one of those chains. And then if you wanna transfer ownership, you can always do something cross platform, but you have to really think about where you're actually housing these things. [0:59:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: So... Yes. Nathan, really really quickly, right before anybody jumps in, I just wanna kinda go over this because I think you guys raised some amazing questions. And, Nathan, I'm gonna I'm gonna give you the floor in one second. So here's what they're currently partnered with, Oxford University. Right? Story protocols partnered with ox... Oxford Univer... On a research initiative. Exactly what I was just saying in the advancing AI agent communication and negotiation capabilities. This collaboration focuses on improving clarity and AI interactions and optimizing agent to agent negotiations contributing to Stories agent TCP IP framework. Now why would somebody actually choose Stories over another blockchain? So Story's core value prop centers around on chain intellectual property management, monetization, and provenance. So it is built specifically for creators. So Story Protocol isn't a general purpose blockchain. It's tailored explicitly for managing, registering, and tracking IP on chain. So you have clear provenance. Users can transparently track every contribution or modification to a creative asset, enabling fair attribution and compensation. So it's composable and permissionless. We're gonna go down that route. But then it also says AI integration and provenance, the trackability of AI generated content. So Story uniquely integrates with AI models, making it possible to transparently track how content, training data, or models are used, creators and developers to earn royalties or licensing fees on their AI contributions. They've also partnered with Stability AI. For those that know, obviously, Stability is one of the biggest image generators out here. But, yeah, I thought that was some good context and great stuff, Alex. Appreciate it. Nathan, go for it. [1:00:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Shit. I can't hear Nathan. Can y'all hear Nathan? No. Yeah. Nathan dropped down. Hold on. Let me [1:00:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: just remove you real quick, then I'm gonna [1:00:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: bring you right back up. [1:00:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Who's doing that? [1:00:57] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: They're gonna focus on creative. [1:01:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, test. Test. Test. Test. [1:01:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Nathan, got you. Go for it, man. [1:01:04] NathanXreality @thenathan: Alright. Awesome. So I got about two minutes before I gotta jump to another meeting. But, Alex and Dave, I just wanna build off what you were saying because you're both absolutely right. Alex, you even beat me to, like, the the UNG negotiation punch of, like, how Spotify was originally kind of giving its value. It wasn't just, you know, one song at a time. It was... There was enough volume of music that it actually brought value to something like a DRM, like, file format and a specific platform. So I... If I were to look at this changes as an outsider, I would, one, look at, a, yes, how many projects are being built on it in the growth rate of those projects. But then I'd be I'd be looking at how much those projects are actually being used, because that's the usage and the connection between, like, the end, say, project users built on story. The third thing I would look at is the percentage of, say, this creative IP in relation to other, like, chain IP volume. So if this... You know, there's just, for example, a 10,000 agents or 10,000 songs on this chain... On Story, and how does that relate to, like, Alex, you're saying, of the Ethereum, you know, projects or other projects that are trying to do similar initiatives. But the last thing that I really think that you guys haven't mentioned and I wanted to throw in is what's really... What I've discovered, for lack of a better word, the bitch or the rough hardest part about this IP is actually the enforcement of it. So you can have all of this records. You can have all of this transactions and so forth. But at the end of the day, if there's nothing... Like, no one's suing someone or no one's, like, going after the revenue at the right point or no one's, like like, that's the... That... That's what UMG and, like, Disney and app... Like, these people with lots of, you know, resources can protect their IP and actually enforce it when it's infringed upon. So that's something I'd be interested how Story's handling as well. But, yeah, I mean, it sounds super dope and especially for things like agentic, you know, modeling and so forth. Like, those are things that I think creative IP still has yet to kind of reroute and blockchain could absolutely place. I just think more than that. But, yeah, I could jump, and it's been real. Dave, I I love talking to you as always, and I'll see you soon, brother. [1:03:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, man. Thanks, David, for obviously stopping by, bro. You know, you always gotta welcome Ben and open spot on my stage, man. For real. Thanks, dude. And just FYI, so everybody is clear. So Story Protocol differentiates itself by offering a dedicated comprehend... What it says, comprehensive framework for creators, developers, and brands to transparently register, collaborate, track license, and monetize IP? Metabase is a fucking question because we've never actually really delved into something like this, and this is really what I love doing. So I love that you're actually, like, looking into something like this. But Nathan does bring up a good point. It's like, on the enforcement side, how do you act? Like, is that really up to Story to kinda be responsible for the enforcement? And it's like, they're giving you the protocol. Like, they're different because they have all this stuff prebuilt in. Right? It's not just, hey. We have smart contracts like every other chain. So it's like, well, now who does... Like, who's gonna do this now? Like, who's going to enforce it? Alex, yeah. [1:04:04] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. But... Okay. So so theoretically, all of them are transparent about the transactions. Right? So so that's not anything unique, really. And, you know, being able to track something all the way through going forward, that is something that all of them should do. What I would love to see is a chain that can track backwards. Right? I wanna see split sheets for every type of transaction, and I wanna see being able to, like, sub out wallets. Right? Because I wanna be... I wanna see people who can basically trade out their rights and track that. That's what I wanna see. Because people... Like, it doesn't matter if you can't get liquidity for the rights that you have and track those rights. So we don't have that right now. If they can implement that, that's great. Otherwise, you've gotta basically create a wall that can do that correctly, and I haven't seen anybody do that correctly yet. The other thing is, are they working with the right organizations? Everybody thinks this is super simple, but dealing with the right organizations is a fucking nightmare, and nobody's doing it correctly. Right? They're not dealing with, oh, has anybody mentioned ancillary rights? Has anybody mentioned, you know, all of these other, the... With the rights groups and and talking about how they're gonna deal with the PROs and things like that? No? No one? Okay. Well, that's really the biggest issue. You're talking about the fact that, you know, okay. We can save you, you know, 250,000,000 is left on the table every year in The US, because the rights don't get passed through. Okay. That's big money. But at the same time, they're not talking about, well, the PROs are gonna fight you every step of the way because they're the ones that are currently doing this, and they do not want the blockchains involved. You've gotta give them a role. I have a role for them. Right? There is a role. But you've gotta, like, think about this in the entirety. Everybody's thinking about this piecemeal, and they're not thinking about it fully. Right? They're thinking about, if I just put this instrument in place and say, it's just for, for creatives and throw in AI, which, by the way, we haven't even talked about what the fuck these AI agents do, right, and how they're useful. But, if we just throw in these words, then somehow this is better than Spotify. And if I'm just maybe a creative... Like, I'm a I'm a singer songwriter, This is gonna be better for me than trying to get on Spotify and get my no dollars or trying to sell my own tokens or NFTs, you know, somewhere or whatever and try to be Violetta. You know, I can somehow make a career out of this. It's not. Right? You have to think about how do we reenvision the music industry, for example, in its entirety because that is what we're really looking at. There's a a different role for the for for the music labels. They're really just marketing at this point. We need different distribution. We need different, types of marketing agents even in here. We need different, we need, different ways to do split sheets and distributions. We need different methods of enforcement. And, no, it's not the change responsibility, but they do have a role. We need, different ways of training the actual people who are involved, including the singers, the artists, the whatever, they have to have business training somewhere along the line. Right? So part of art school or music academy or whatever the hell it is has to include business, and it doesn't right now, right, as far as I can tell from the people I talk to. So, you know, if you're gonna focus on music or you're gonna focus on art or you're gonna... Whatever you're gonna focus on, like, you have to step back and say, we're reenvisioning this industry. And if you're only looking at it from, I'm gonna get you this independent piece of music, you have done nothing to do that. You've done nothing to help the industry along. Because what needs to be done is an overhaul, and all you're doing is adding another channel of confusion rather than saying, how can we actually make this better for the people that aren't actually being heard? What are their real problems? They aren't getting distribution at all. How can we make distribution happen? And there's a fundamental problem here, which is that music and record labels own distribution channels. How can we make it, like, easier for people, general people, to listen to the music regardless of whether they're an NFT or, you know, like, digital music from iTunes or whatever? How... Wherever the source is, how can we make it easier to listen to? Like, you have to think about the consumers. We... We're we're not thinking enough about consumers. We're thinking about these little tiny parts, and nothing is ever gonna change until you start thinking about the gestalt of the entire industry. People who think too small never get anywhere. They get small money. We have to start thinking bigger, and this is the biggest flaw of of Web three and blockchain in general is that is that a lot of the people who are in this space are thinking way too small, and we're getting run over by the enterprise part of the... This industry because they think bigger. And they come in and take the technology and use it and think bigger and use it for massive billion dollar transactions because they know how to see this technology in that way. If we don't start thinking bigger, we'll never be bigger. [1:09:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Look at you with the mic drop. You just use the word gestalt also. That's gotta be a first on ATC. That's for sure. I love that. Alex, great Sorry. Intake. Yeah. Wait. Hold on. Come on. Hold on. Hold on. Come on. On. Hold on. Metabees had his hand up for a minute. I'm gonna come right back to you. Go ahead, Metabees. Oh, no. This is really important. [1:10:10] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Go for it. Go for it. [1:10:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: Caitlyn Jenner bought $50 worth of DRV, dude. What the hell? That's crazy. Oh [1:10:17] Voice I: my god. [1:10:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: You just pulled the fucking alpha gamer. Here we go. Landy Landy, talk to Coma. [1:10:22] Kkoma @itskkoma: That's 12,000,000, bro. [1:10:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: There get... Coma, there can only be one alpha gamer. And, unfortunately, I know you're trying to channel him right now, but... He's not working. He's been [1:10:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: waiting This is really important. You literally stopped [1:10:36] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: and... Gave up my spot for that. [1:10:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Like, you... Like, met to be sacrificed for you. Like, you came off off that amazing Alex take. That's what you follow-up with was Caitlyn fucking Jenna. [1:10:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: That's that's why I said speaking of small. Right? Like, this is... That's why it's a I [1:10:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: don't care what you said. You said it was important. You were like, this is really important. I'm thinking this guy's gonna add some serum. Bro, get coma. You better go on mute right now. Meta beast, go for it. Got it. [1:11:00] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: So I I I was curious talk... Talking about this. I was curious how how would this hold up in in a court, which if it came to that with an IP violation, which it has a lot of... There needs to be a lot more more work around that for... In real life as far as the federal and states. Some states, it could. But something that is very interesting to me about this, because it says it it enables agents to autonomously negotiate, license, and enforce agreements through on chain, agent to agent smart contracts that integrate both on chain execution and off chain legal enforceability, all powered by story. As more agents join the network, the value and capabilities of the entire ecosystem ecosystem grow exponentially. Each new agent brings unique capabilities and combine its strengths with existing agents to create novel solutions and services. For example, specialized agents could work together to produce a movie wherein a producer agent hire screenwriter agents and video generation agents and splits revenues according to their on chain agreement. [1:12:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, it's gonna... It's real... It's gonna be really interesting to see kinda how it plays out. I think you guys are raising... I love this conversation right now. Yeah. Vincent, go for it, man. I would love to hear [1:12:25] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: what's is a huge thing I know in the spaces with musicians, especially. [1:12:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. A 100%. Just you for creating, like... I know you have so much wishing... And washing around in that brain of yours that, like, the, like, the amount of, like, creative characters that you've probably created over the years, it's like, that's in... It's important at every level. So... Yeah. It's back, Sunny. Yeah. Sunny, you heard that? Goth lemur's back. Sunny d allegedly killed Goth lemur, but it is what it is. Vincent, go for it, bro. [1:12:54] Vincent_R @DJVincentR: Yeah. I kinda wanted to touch on the things that Alex is talking about because it it it does... As an artist, it gets frustrating. Right? Because there... You become much more than a a music maker or filmmaker. You have to become the social media marketing, and you... There's just a a plethora of things. I've DJed for twenty three years now, you know, and you used to be able to go out and just play records. Right? And you were breaking new records, and it was about digging in and through and getting people to experience things they hadn't heard yet. And then as time goes on, now your... DJing is the the last part of it. Nobody really gives a shit about the music you're playing as long as it's banger after banger after banger. But it's the the... Do you create the flyer? Can you bring 30 to 40, 50 people that are just gonna buy drinks? And are you getting a... How big is your social media following, and how many tickets can you sell? It's not even about the freaking music anymore. And that's the problem is some of us artists, I don't wanna think about social media. I'd rather have an AI agent that can say, hey. Build me a social media campaign and help me automate it from different aspects because all I wanna do is just create the damn music. That's all I wanna do. [1:14:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. Yeah. I'm loving this, man. I really, really am loving this this entire conversation. Deflationary dog, if you wanna request again, I couldn't add you up. I just added a second cohost, so sorry about that. Alex, anything that you wanted to say in response or maybe follow-up to anything that... So maybe kinda put a pin in this one? [1:14:32] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I think that this is a very interesting concept. So my family has a bunch of, like, artists and composers and things like that. And there is something to be said about the middleman, the business partner. Right? The the person who does that business work that partners with the creative, who takes on that role and has a vested interest in making that work. And and one of the things that my grandfather used to say is, it's a gatekeeper to have a business partner. And I thought that was always an interesting thing, to think about. Right? He he always said that, you know, he he loved having a business partner that that, you know, did the business while he did the creative work. But at the same time, you know, there were all these people that were very envious and said, you know, I could be successful if I if I, you know, could get a business partner. And and he would explain that he was, because he also taught architecture at a university. And and he said that this is, also the gatekeeper. Right? Because it's a luxury to be able to just do your art. That is the luxury. That is not the the reality for for for anyone almost ever. Right? And and and for most of the time, it... The periods of of time in art that, you have, someone who is doing the business work. The business work is the more important part of it, and they're the ones who end up getting all the wealth. Right? Because I don't know if you guys know who Vuillard is. Vuillard was part of the group of the post impressionists. He had, he was an artist originally. He did not have much talent. He realized it early on, and he became the dealer of most of the post impressionists. He brought in the the the Cone sisters and... Who still have the largest post impressionist collection, in the world. And, and and he made a crap ton of money by being the dealer for these people. And and one of the things, I think that's interesting is, for as much as people don't wanna pay the person that is the intermediary, That person is the person that allows you to just do the art. Right? So there's this such a long standing love hate relationship between, creatives and business people because there's this drive to say, I just wanna directly sell to my community. The people who can directly sell to the community are people of a business sense to create a community and be able to market to that community, which is what we had with those first NFT artists. Right? They actually had already created a huge community of people who knew what digital art was and knew it had value and were crypto ready. Right? That's an enormous thing. They were people who were already... Like, Beeple is a gifted salesman in... Just innately. That's very different from most artists. So, for people who are not gifted in sales, it's a very difficult thing to be able to just do art. Most people can't just do the thing that they love in any job. They they have to do the thing that they love surrounded by the crap that they hate. And if you find a business person that will allow you to do the thing that you love... The reason my father says it's a gatekeeper is because most people don't find the person who will take money in exchange for letting that person do the thing that that they love. Right? So you have to kind of come to terms, I think, with this, this match. Right? Either you live the life the rest of all of us live, even the business person. Right? Everybody is doing a a little bit of what they love, and the rest of it is just the crap that we put up with, in order to do the little bit that we love. Or you get the blessed life of a lot of what you love in exchange for giving up profits to someone else who is going to be doing that other stuff that you hate primarily. You'll also be doing a lot more of stuff that, is not the stuff that you love primarily, but you'll be creating for a particular audience. Right? There are... Like, this I think of as the difference between Michael Jackson and Prince. Michael Jackson, was better known and, and was wealthier, not just because of business decisions, but because he made the same shit over... I I don't mean a shit. Right? But he made the same music primarily over and over and over. He knew his audience and created for them. Prince got bored, and he was like, I'm into this now. No. No. I'm into this now. I'm into this now. So he had to create new audiences over and over again for what he wanted. And and that means he had to keep finding, selling, recreating, rebuilding, rebuilding, rebuilding. That means that he lost money every time he had to start over. And then he'd find something and he'd get successful, but then he got bored and had to rebuild. You have to pick your battles is is all I'm saying here. None of it is wrong. It's all just pick your battles. That's really it. [1:20:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. [1:20:34] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: So choose which one is for you. And and then just understand that, yes, the grass is always greener on the other side, but, fundamentally, you have to do with what you personally are gonna be okay with. Do you want all the profits yourself? Then you're going to have to learn that other stuff that you don't want to. You know? Do you want to keep changing it up and trying different styles? Then you're gonna have to keep getting new audiences for yourself and starting over. So you just have to be okay with whatever it is that that you want, whatever whatever battle you choose. Whatever it is, you can make it work. Just know that there's a... There's something icky in it for everyone, not just you. [1:21:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: The the... This reminds me of the Eddie Murphy stand up where he goes, nothing from nothing. He's nothing. Had to do something. It's like, yo. At the end of the day, it's like a 100% of nothing is still nothing. So you gotta pick and choose exactly what you want. Good stuff, Alex. Metabeast, really great stuff, man. Really, really awesome. [1:21:38] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: I'm I'm gonna try to go through the process so I I can let anybody know if [1:21:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guinea pigs. Let's go. I love it. Honestly Let us know [1:21:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: how I really like this. I like that someone's actually testing this out. Really appreciate it, Metabees, and, yeah, let us know. [1:21:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, coma trying to redeem himself from this fucking Caitlyn Jenner fucking nightmare. Hey. Look at this. [1:21:57] Kkoma @itskkoma: It's 12,000,000, so I don't know [1:21:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Unbelievable. What [1:22:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: I need some money. [1:22:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I... He goes, I need the money. Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. Watcher Guru just put up. SEC confirms Bitcoin and crypto mining does not violate securities laws. Not like Landy was sweating at all, but, you know, [1:22:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: Landy I was. I was, dude. Bullets. [1:22:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Talk to me, bro. Like, this big news at the end of the day? I mean, obviously, like, it sounds like it's monster news, but I actually never knew that this was a thing in terms of, like, Bitcoin mining violating securities laws. But, I mean, great great news, I guess, for you. [1:22:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. So this... We kind of already knew this. Even under the last administration, they did already kinda carve out for Bitcoin, and and it was a... It was the mining side that was kinda up for debate still. So this is just kind of another step in the right direction of the Trump administration and now the the Trump SEC to kind of reassure the industry because it wasn't that... There were still questions because there wasn't clarification. Right? The CFTC kinda wrenched Bitcoin away from the SEC under the last administration, which was pretty interesting to watch. And mining kinda got left in limbo, and they were not very kind to miners in general. Let's put it that way. So there was always a risk on that side of things. So this is... When I say that I was sweating bullets, I was... For a little while there under the last administration, we kind of were. And now this is just good clarification. I I really need... We really need to see a lot of this stuff codified by congress, though. Right? Because all it takes is a crypto unfriendly administration and poof, it's all gone. Right? So this is really good stuff. And on the back of that, the same... Around the same point, it looks like the Department of Education is no longer a thing. [1:24:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, I didn't know that. Good stuff. Alex, no. I didn't drop you. What are you talking about? I would never drop you. [1:24:16] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yes. You did. No. [1:24:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't. What are talking about? [1:24:19] NathanXreality @thenathan: Or lady [1:24:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: did. I would roast you. I totally did not. Are you kidding? [1:24:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. Alex Alex, the fear the fear that Dave has is that me and you get into really deep conversation, and we never stop, and he never closes the space. Yeah. [1:24:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, that is a valid [1:24:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: into an old man on stream and on space at the [1:24:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: same time. Exactly. That is a valid fear. Like, any spaces host would absolutely be, like, shitting bricks for something like that situation. That's literally my nightmare right now. But, no, Alex. I would never talk. [1:24:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: My nightmare. Yo. Dave. So, you know, Alex Alex does her spaces on the weekend. Right? And she always sends out the invites. And I go and I'll purposely sit in the audience, and I... I've I've been tempted to get on this... Get up there and speak. But I know for a fact that I'm gonna ask questions of Alex, and then she's gonna respond back, and I'm gonna have an opinion about it. And we're gonna be there for, we're gonna be there all freaking day, especially when I start getting into the SEC side of things because that's actually where a lot of my interests lie right now. [1:25:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, listen. I love Alex to death. I think Alex is amazing. But you go to Alex's space. It's Alex literally talking the whole time, which she does drop massive gems, and I absolutely love it. But in spaces, people want to talk. They genuinely want to. And they have to...... [1:25:35] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Not me talking all the time. It is a pitch space on my space on Sunday. And I bring investors and VCs, and people get funded, so fuck you. Do you offer that to the people that hear? No. No. Have you offered a leg up to people? No. Have I offered actual value to people? Not just my incredible wisdom, but also the fact that I bring in people who actually fund people. [1:26:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Say it. Keep keep going. [1:26:07] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Keep going. So hop up,. Yes. See? [1:26:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: This... The only thing I get from Dave is any [1:26:15] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: amount of data we have.... Thing was actually about proof of work. It's actually all proof of work, bigger than miners. All proof of work is not is not a security. So all you people sweating Ravencoin. Yo. [1:26:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: I still own some Ravencoin. I think it was... Somebody... I think it was mine... Yo. I think it was mining Ravencoin. Were were you able to mine Ravencoin? I think I was. [1:26:42] NathanXreality @thenathan: I I don't remember if you were. [1:26:44] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I think you could. You could. [1:26:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. No. Alex, I'm I'm gonna ask this question. And if if... For Dave's sake, and actually, Cool's gotta go. Is it... What about the hybrid protocols that are proof of stake and proof of work? Because that is now a gray area. Now we're right back into a gray area. Right? [1:27:04] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. I mean, it's... So the theory, I think, is that that they're saying that that was supposed to be the reasoning behind Bitcoin and originally Ethereum was proof of work. Proof of work is the thing that's getting the miners out. Right? Is, like, miners, because this was actually about a scam, that miners ran in cloud, in a cloud mining pool. That's what this was based on, not a a particular chain or anything like that. And what came up during this is that proof of work chains do not have... Are not a securities issue. So this is actually kind of an interesting thing. So if you're mining on a proof of work chain, what you're dealing with is not a security, then the fraud issues there, are not actually subject to the SEC fraud rules. Right? Because you're not under securities regulations. You're under contractual fraud rules. Right? That's a very different thing. But if you are, if you've got validation issues or you promised them as though they were securities, then you're right back in the SEC stuff. Right? So that's different from what they talked about with the, meme coins, which is that the meme coins were, they were not securities under Howie, but they're gonna prosecute them if there's fraud. The s e... They still fall under SEC fraud purview. This stuff is not even under the SEC fraud rules from what I'm seeing from the statements that they've made. I don't have the the official ruling yet. So if I can see the ruling, I can see if there's a distinction, but that's that's very that's very different. Right? So so that's a... That's... That means that, you know, you would handle these cases incredibly differently, right, than than securities cases. They wouldn't even necessarily come come under SEC purview. They would depending on what they are. So if Bitcoin is a commodity, then any fraud that happens, like, on... You know, with... Between minors or anything like that would happen on under CFTC rules altogether. There's nothing that would come under, SEC rulings whatsoever. So, that's actually a a big difference, especially because your, if you actually get caught under one of these fraud rules, it can limit your ability in the future to ever do an accredited fundraising. Right? One of those five zero six fundraisings, you can be a bad actor that doesn't get to do one of those kinds of fundraising. So this is actually a pretty important carve out if that's what happens. Right? So, anyway, that's what I understood from that particular ruling. And, and that's a that's a pretty that's a pretty interesting thing. We'll see if the... You know, if you've got something... Like, no. This still leaves us in Ethereum sort of mystery zone because they're not proof of, they're not proof of work anymore. They're proof of stake. So they're still they're still under this, you know, well, still a security thing. And, you know, the validators are still... There's not a carve out for validators the way there is a carve out for minors. So, that makes it inherently riskier, particularly when it comes to...
