I'm lucky in that regard. I'm very, very fortunate. You don't often... I mentioned this, you know, a couple days ago. You don't often see a six sigma event. And just to to to clarify for those that have never heard that before, that means that that's a volatility term for risk managers, by the way. That's where you have six or more standard deviations away from a mean. That just implies that volatility is extremely high or it's going to be extremely high. And before it actually hit its highs, in this case, the volatility index for the S and P 500, I was calling it out because you could see the path that it was on. Right? And you very rarely ever get to see these events, like, happen right in front of you. Usually, it's like, oh, you're reading about it, or or maybe you were in the market and you experienced it, but you didn't understand why things were occurring. What we just saw was the largest, I think this might be the largest. We have to wait for final numbers to to come in. This was the the largest dash to cash. Essentially, what that means is we saw a bunch of players in markets around the world, not just here in The United States, be forced out of their positions. So that means that they were either getting margin called or it was a bunch of forced selling. Of course, there was a lot of people who were hedged already because they... You know, reading the tea leaves and so on and so forth and your Warren Buffets of the world and your Jamie Dimons who got out early and went cash. This was all of the other players that were forced sellers. You know, it it went past their levels for risk management. They... We saw corporate bonds selling off in a massive way. At the same time, we saw, treasury selling off in a massive way. That's why you saw people saying, hey. Yields are are rising. That means that there's a ton of selling going on. That means that everybody's going to cash. Then you see, you know, all of the different players, the bigger players go, oh, there's a recession. Because when everybody's going to cash, they're sidelining capital. Growth deteriorates from there, so on and so forth. But my, oh my, how quickly things turn around. I had mentioned right here on this stage and many others that if this is going to be an event like what we saw the last time that Trump was in office with the same situation with tariffs, what did we see? Ninety days to find the low. If it goes over ninety days, sure. Then we can start thinking about maybe a a recession or a long form bear market. But other than that, you gotta let it play out. And so far, we're seeing some positive signs. Don't fool yourselves, though. It's still a downtrend on longer term time frames, and we need to see where this mean reversion, in this case, revert back to the upside because price was moving down for everything. The mean reversion is shooting back to the upside. Do we get any healthy structure out of it? Or, you know, does it build out? You know, you go back up and and does it reject and make new lower lows, that kind of thing. So that's... We're we're in that period right now. And last year, I talked about first to second quarter transition. I don't care who you voted for. This was gonna happen. It was just gonna be whatever the other narrative was gonna be. And in this case, we're on the other side of of this major event for the volatility index. That does not mean that the lows are necessarily set in or the macro lows are in, at least the, local lows are in. And now we can start assessing the situation and how it plays out. And I don't know if you've talked about this yet, Dave or Cole, but, the whole ninety day pause for 75 countries and now China coming to the table, well, when you think about ninety days, what's supposed to occur with the Fed in, like, ninety days at the end of the... Oh, that's right. Rate cuts. You wanna talk about engineering something to near perfection? This is this is Trump and Xi. They were ratcheting this up. My my phone just turned off, like, phone service. And I'm like, that's weird. So then, you know, I just thought it was a glitch, I restarted my phone thinking, you know, I'll get my service back. No connection. So then I pulled out my second phone and contacted my cell phone company and said, you know, what's what's going on? You know? And they're like, oh, we fulfilled your request to transport... Transfer your phone number to another account. And I went, What are you talking about? I didn't... I did no such thing. And they're like, yeah. You did. And then... I don't know if I should say the name.

And the reason why it was unauthorized is because I never consented to it. They just took my phone number. And so that's why, you know, like I said, I am in... I'm trying to figure out, like, what

Because, essentially, what happened was the hacker got my phone number and then went into all my different apps and started resetting all my passwords and locking me out out of my own account. And the reason why they were able to get in is because guess what? The two f a SMS is just simply a text message to my own phone number. So, you know, what... They just reset password, and they're... And they sent a text to my cell phone number that that the hacker now controls. They say, yes. Reset the password, and they're in.

So if a hacker can reverse engineer how to get into your Google and your SMS, they can still get into your stuff. Like, there is an ongoing scam where somebody will call you from Google, and they actually... They do SMS spoofing. So when it... When they call you, it actually says that's coming from the Google office, and they'll pretend they're, a security engineer or something like that. And it's legit. Like, the the guy who talks to you sounds confident. It doesn't sound like they're from, like, some call center or whatever. It's like... It sounds like a legit thing. And it it can be really scary for those who are unaware, especially the older folks. And, you know, like, even I, like, when I got this phone person, was like, this could maybe be, like, a real thing. But, obviously, I'm more cautious. I think if you really care about your security posture and you've got, like, high value assets connected to your phone or financial insurance or anything like that, I definitely recommend looking into getting something like a YubiKey. Because, like, the authenticator app is not foolproof by any stretch of the imagination, and it's connected to Google and Google's login system, which still exposes you to risk. If you want to reduce that risk, you get an external device like a YubiKey and use that as your authenticator system. Like, that that is currently, I think, the best way to go about it.
