The space opened with casual banter among the hosts about a chaotic day, technical issues, and the challenges of hosting spaces before diving into market analysis with Bitcoin consolidating around $95,000 ahead of key economic data. Discussions explored Bitcoin mining insurance trends, potential US government mining versus buying Bitcoin, privacy coins like Monero and Zcash, and the evolving role of AI in crypto. A highlight was an in-depth debate between Landy and Jay on Bitcoin's long-term role as a settlement layer versus AI-driven transactional needs, chain abstraction, quantum computing risks to Satoshi's wallet, and whether proof-of-work or proof-of-stake offers superior security and immutability. The conversation touched on stablecoins, real-world adoption in emerging markets, and the intersection of blockchain with AI agents. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:00:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Medibeast, what's up? [0:00:22] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Hey, yo. How's it going? [0:00:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Doing good, man. Just crazy, crazy, crazy busy day. I'm gonna need a lot of help today. Okay? So Okay. [0:00:30] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: What you need? Topics? [0:00:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Topics, like, you know, anything that's going on in the markets. I literally have not seen the markets all day. I've just been literally call call call space space space. So, yeah, anything that you got that's cooking right now. I know, obviously, BTC's at 95. So, yeah, I wanna make sure it's... We're still gonna have a good show. Yeah. [0:00:50] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Alright. Cool. Cool. I've I've said it before. I am curious to know what people know about Soui and Litecoin and [0:00:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That would [0:00:59] Voice B: be the [0:01:00] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: if if they got it, that'd be cool. Okay. Yep. [0:01:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. I got... I can [0:01:04] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: ask the questions for sure. [0:01:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Beautiful. That's what I love. Yeah. More and more and more questions, questions, questions. And I'm just literally getting to my computer now. I don't know if y'all want some music. Landy, what's good, bro? Thank you, by the way, for earlier today, man. I got shit scared when I got fucking locked out of my account. I was like, oh my fucking god. Don't do this to me today. [0:01:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's all good, brother. I... You know, I got your back. I figured that there was something going on, so I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna roll with it. Like, what's up, bro? Like, how is this Liquidium doing? Tell me all about it. You know? Just kinda roll straight into it. [0:01:37] Voice J: You sound half bad [0:01:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: as if I can host yourself, buddy. Like Come on. You know? [0:01:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: You know what's funny is... So Tim Tim sent me over the the doc, and I was like, oh, shit. I ain't following any of this. I realized that you were already on stage. I was like, [0:01:52] Voice J: thank god you saved my ass, [0:01:57] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Sounds like you need a story time moment just to relax, chill back, relax, have some fun, laugh your motherfucking ass off. Yeah. And I'm not saying you have to run it. So I'm just saying. [0:02:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: You know what's funny is this is how clutch Dave is and how how good of a freaking space host he is. He comes in clearly discombobulated. Like, everything's not working for him. All good. Just rolls right into it. Just slots right in. Immediately knows what he wants to ask him. You know, he probably had the dock at some point, so he's just, like, going down the list, but he reframes all the questions in ways that make sense to the... I'm sitting there like, you know what? I'm glad I'm not a space host. I'm just the guest that everybody brings on for entertainment. Yeah. Enjoy that part. [0:02:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Everyone thinks this is an easy fucking gig. Right? And they're like, oh, you... I was like, you get paid. [0:02:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, no, Dave. No. [0:02:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: You see what I'm saying, bro? Like, you see that? That was a phone call. [0:02:59] Voice J: That was [0:02:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: a phone call. Charged. [0:03:00] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Your phone is charged, though. Right? [0:03:02] Voice J: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But Nope. [0:03:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm telling you, today is one of those days, guys. Like, my telegram messages are through the roof. Dave. Dave. Dave. My fucking d... Like, I haven't seen a day like this in a very long time. It's good. Don't get me wrong. I like being busy, but, man, sometimes you just gotta be like, hoo. Take it easy. But, yeah, Lainty, what I'll say was, yeah. Sometimes people are like, oh, yeah. You get paid how much... Don't worry about my money, number one, first off. Okay? Because I earn every dollar that I get. Number two, like, I'd like to see, like like, just a handful of people really try this hosting thing out and trying to keep everybody's attention. Right? Make sure you're talking about relevant shit. Keep people laughing. Keep people, like like, keep their attention. You're babysitting half the time because some people come up and they're like, you didn't let me up. Nah. Chill. Like, good luck. Like, this [0:03:54] Voice J: is not an easy gig at the end of [0:03:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: the day, man. It is absolutely not. So, yeah, ask Jay East. Shout out Jay East down there, bro. What's good, my boy? But, yeah, guys, no music today. Sorry. I literally just got back to my computer. I do have to charge the computer. But cool. What's good, my man? How are doing? [0:04:10] Voice J: I'm good. Good. Good. Happy happy Tuesday, man. Hope you guys doing okay. Yeah. Let's go. Landy, what's up, bro? What's going on? How you guys doing? [0:04:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Chilling, man. Chilling. Chilling. Chilling. Bread, what's good, my brother? What's happening? [0:04:21] Bread @_ToastMalone: Oh, GM fam. Not a not a whole lot. Just shipped the the new dashboard for Billy Betts yesterday, and it's dope. And so far, good. Haven't had the Discord army come at my throat yet. So, you know, cautiously waiting for the Discord people to break things because they're, you know... Like, I tried to log out, log in, log out while talking to Billy and checking all these things, and it broke. You guys suck. You know? It's like, alright. [0:04:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm messaging you on Discord right now. [0:04:53] Bread @_ToastMalone: Fantastic. Cool. I'll make sure that that help ticket just kinda, you know, sits. [0:04:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'll say this though, Brad. Like, the... So this morning, you guys know how I work behind the the, like, the WagMe account. So, like, I had to be on a couple different spaces, like, behind the WagMe account because they... Like, WagMe's got a lot of shit cooking. Like, they're literally building their own version of, like, Zelie and Galaxy within, like, the WagMe hub, which is fucking wild. Right? And they have their upcoming TGE. I was a... I gotta be honest. I was a little bit scared because, like, when you're a, like, a founder... Right? And I'm not a founder. Right? Like... But as the voice, like, I gotta be able to speak to this shit. When you're a founder and, like, you have a token and people are, like, you know, waiting on you for this or that, like, bro, that shit is... I was a little bit scared. Was like, what are these people gonna ask me? Because I saw some of the comments, and they're like, where the fuck is the TGE? It's like, okay, disgruntled airdrop hunters. Take it easy. You need to come to ATC. Listen to cool, and just be like, be grateful for whatever you get. Cool. You gotta preach that gospel louder, man, because some of them... But in all fairness, like, it actually went okay. So... But shout out to the founders that are out there that have tokens that gotta sit there and constantly take the fucking barrage, whether it's in Discord, Telegram, and wherever. Y'all need to understand this is not an easy thing to do, like, at all. So chill. But... Yeah. Shout out, Brad. What's good? Sunny d, what's up? [0:06:15] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yo. Yeah. Dude, just... I don't know how to... You... I mean, you pretty much put it just like that. People think they know charts until, you know, you're behind one. And I'll tell you, the past two years, how much I've learned from becoming... Going from just, like, an active fan and, like, holder to, like, a builder. I think everybody should launch a meme coin. I think everybody should, try and find a job or create a job in this space for yourself and then figure out what it's actually like to be in crypto. Host space, figure out what... Exactly what Dave said, figure out how to keep a conversation going, bring facts, keep it moving smooth. You know, the... You never know what's gonna happen in a space. You have to, like, mediate, you know, emotions coming from everywhere. Dude, it's... And then and then none of us are actually, I mean, maybe Landy, consulting on different projects, but and none of us are actually in the industry. We're just participants. And, dude, it's... We... People say it was not the Wild West anymore. This is the complete fucking Wild West. Like, there are no... There's no fucking rules to any of this. We're all figuring out how to do it on the fly as we go, and, the only thing that gets you better at it is consistency. And, oh, we talked about this yesterday, patience. [0:08:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. People need patience. But, yo, beautiful day. [0:08:12] Sunny D @dylN0chill: It's finally springtime in my neck of the woods. The birds are chirping. It was, [0:08:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, 70 degrees. I'm feeling good. Yeah. Same, bro. I was just outside. I was like, oh my god. Could it possibly be? We only had to wait until fucking May in order to get some sunshine and a little bit of heat, for fuck's sake. We literally... There was no springtime, by the way. There was zero spring. And we literally went from winter. Now it's, like, 75 outside and, like, beautiful and sunny. So, yeah, hopefully, it'll make us a little less crabby from now on. You know? All you guys basking in the sunlight. Yeah. Whatever. All year round. [0:08:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. We wanna see see [0:08:48] Sunny D @dylN0chill: more off line? Are we gonna get an intro today? Or [0:08:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I just got back to my computer. I mean, we can do an off the cuff one if you want, but let me just finish saying what's up to everybody. [0:08:58] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Yeah. You don't have one I did. Not a single one of them. [0:09:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? Which one? You have [0:09:05] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: the one? I've I've sent you some new ones. Yeah. [0:09:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: A while ago. You gotta you gotta tell me, bro. [0:09:09] Voice J: I told... I did I did I did. [0:09:11] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: I know. I know, Dave. I understand. I get it, but I am saying I did tell you. Okay. You need me to drum one up. It'll take me a minute, though. I'm on-site. Right? [0:09:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Take the minute. Let me say what's up to Coma and Jay Abs. Coma, what's good, bro? Thank you for the for the, what's it called, for the hanging on. I'm still waiting for him to get back to me, but hopefully, he will. And and let me know if he can make the the space on Friday, but I just wanna say thank you, man. [0:09:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. I talked I talked to the the founder this Friday... Or sorry. I talked to the founder yesterday. He probably can't make it this Friday, but he said next week, he should be able to. So I don't know if it's a flexible schedule or not, but we could talk a little more about it later. But, yeah, overall, looking good. Markets, I haven't actually even looked at the markets. Is it bad? Good? Horrible? Great. Someone tell me. Where's Landy? I am I hitting my higher highs or lower lows? [0:09:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: What? [0:10:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: How East and west or west of No. Listen. I told I told y'all in the ATC chat. Listen. I told y'all on the ATC, I'm gonna need a little help today because I have been literally all over the... I have not looked at the market one... Like, literally, not once today. I did see that Bitcoin is obviously holding steady. We're we're up, like, up above 95 k. So, yeah, Landy, I'm gonna need a full breakdown. [0:10:21] Voice B: Jay Yabs, what's up? He went down. [0:10:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Jay. Oh, Jay went down. Jay went down. It's all good. It's all good. Yeah. Let let... Let's... Meta Beast, unless you're ready, maybe a little...... [0:10:34] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Another couple thirty seconds. [0:10:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thirty seconds. Seconds. For those that... [0:10:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: I can do this in thirty seconds. So Bitcoin, it's it's at $95,000. It's been there for quite a few days now, and it's probably gonna move soon. We don't know if it's gonna be to the upside or the downside. To be quite honest, if we see it start trading above 96, we're probably gonna get a move north. If you start seeing it break down towards, that 93 and a half, we're probably looking at maybe a little bit bigger retrace. It really... It's consolidating right now. Just be... When it was consolidating around 85 to 86, it went sideways for a number of days before it popped up another $10,000. So just understand that we're coiling up for another bigger move in the market. And I think we're waiting for, some economic data that's gonna be coming out tomorrow. Right? We got a little bit today. And, you know, the first first week... First two weeks of of May are gonna be very telling is we're gonna get economic numbers that are gonna be indicative of the post tariff numbers and outlook. Obviously, there's deals still going on between The United States and China. Everybody was like, Trump is backing down, and now no one wants to talk about China cutting their tariffs down too on specific items. So it's a negotiation. It's kind of a fluid situation. Think we'll find, the monthly close is what I'm paying attention to. So tomorrow, we'll probably talk about it a little bit more. But above $951.28, we set a higher low on the monthly, and that higher low will be $74,420.69 because the market is a mean. [0:12:23] Voice L: All things, SECRO now with fewer regrets. See... Proud product of WAGNI Corp. Are you or a loved one suffering from chronic bearishness? Do you experience sudden urges to check charts during dinner? Have you recently joined a DAO you don't understand? You may be eligible for all things crypto. [0:12:43] Voice O: I tried ignoring Web three. I even muted the word airdrops, but then I heard Kool say zero to hero in three candles, and now I'm 43 Discords deep and meditating in gas fees. I haven't felt this alive since Solana went down. Laura. [0:13:00] Voice N: My doctor said the voices weren't real, but then Dave's voice came through my AirPods during all things crypto and told me to state my feelings. I've been emotionally bonded to my bags ever since. I call cool doctor now. Side effects of all things crypto may include excessive optimism during clear downtrends, delusions of generational wealth, [0:13:25] Voice L: involuntary use of terms like copium, wrecked, and win, believing Landy owns every ticker, sudden emotional attachment to cartoon frogs, extreme trust in strangers with bat cowl PFPs. If you experience loss of sleep, liquidity, or dignity, do not contact your doctor. Join us Monday through Thursday. Because when the markets get sick, there's only one prescription. All things crypto, now available without a road map. [0:14:04] Sunny D @dylN0chill: That's brilliant. [0:14:08] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Thank you. [0:14:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tell you, just... His his mind is special. I think y'all don't understand. Like, that that is a special special brain that's in that head of his. Like, that is crazy. Yeah. Well done, Metabeast. Well done. [0:14:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. Bravo. Holy shit. I'm crying over here. [0:14:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy stuff. Okay. Alright. Landy, you gave us the quick and the dirty. Guys, like I said, I have not looked at the market, so I'm literally just, like, scrambling to look up news now. I'm looking on Watchoguru. I hear that. What's going on with India and Pakistan? I mean, it's not crypto related, but they're like, what's going on? Pakistan and India are going to war? Like, isn't this, like, an everyday thing? Again... Yeah. [0:14:49] Bread @_ToastMalone: Can. They're going to war again. Alright. Well, cool. [0:14:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's the deal? Like, what is going on? Like, that's... They're like, oh, Pakistan [0:14:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: Terror Attack. [0:14:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Gonna attack in twenty four to thirty six hours. It's like, So [0:14:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: there was an... There was a terror attack at... And then... At some Indian event. It's... I guess some guy, like, was zip lining, and that's, like, the video everybody's sharing right now. But there was, I think, like... I wanna say this is... I... This is off top of my dome. I think it was, like, 23 people were killed. And Modi basically said, we're gonna avenge them, and you're pretty much toast, and we're gonna attack you. So that's kinda where [0:15:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: we're You [0:15:30] Kool @koolcryptovc: know you know you know what's crazy about this stuff is, [0:15:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: you know, I I watch all [0:15:33] Kool @koolcryptovc: these all these weird videos on YouTube, and you you see a lot of times... I'm not saying in this case, but in in in some cases, there will be an outside entity that's paying some local to attack another country. That they... It's so we... It's so weird. Like, other countries would send terrorists to other countries to come to act like they're from their country to attack another country. It's just so crazy. You you honestly can't believe anything you see on... Online or on TV because you just don't know what the on... On the lining reason or or why this is happening. But it's just it's... It... If if you guys go watch old videos, you know, about about history, things are things are nutty. Like, I I saw... It's it's actually public. This is actually public. This this one I saw was crazy. It was, during the Castro era. I think the the CIA the CIA was, this is actually public. This this... And I'm making this shit up. The CIA was trying to bomb a US commercial jets and blame it on the Cubans for Kennedy to attack them. Crazy shit. So this kind of story is bad. It happens. I'm like, I I don't even like to speculate, whatever, but it's it's it's pretty crazy out there, though, seriously. [0:16:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: I agree. Dave is trying to come back, but I'm not sure if he's here. Nope. Well Can't hear Dave's. [0:17:06] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: If you guys... If there's new stories, wrong topic, I would love to discuss. But you guys just let me know when we're ready for that. [0:17:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: The only thing that I saw that really caught my eye was, and and this is actually pretty important when it comes to the mining industry here in The United States, specifically Bitcoin miners. A lot of their hosting facilities host a lot of other, miners as well for different networks, but there is... Now with all of the capital inflows, not just in the Bitcoin, but, a lot of these miners are becoming pretty well capitalized. So the insurance portion is becoming a bigger deal. That's kinda making the rounds today. It's not very interesting. It's more business style stuff, but it's much needed to bolster the industry moving forward, especially if we are gonna see The United States, you know, become the crypto crypt... Crypt... The crypto mining capital of the world even. Poor Dave. He's over here. No one can hear him. [0:18:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah, Dave. We we we can hear you, man. I'm here. I [0:18:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: think you can now. I'm back. Can you hear me? [0:18:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: Who's back? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [0:18:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Sorry. I don't know why I had to reconnect because my shit is my shit is all over the place today, man. So, like, yeah, my my fault. [0:18:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: So I I do have a question for Landy. I I did see that report you're saying. Oh, look. I do have a question for you. So do you think... Because, you know, we're hearing, you know, the US government wants to buy Bitcoin. They should or shouldn't. Do you do... You don't think it's better for them to mine it instead? You you don't think that's a better option? What do you think? No. [0:18:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: I don't think they should. I'm sure they will, though, and I'm I'm pretty sure that they already do if you ask me. I would tell you that the US military is likely mining Bitcoin, you know, may... Maybe not at scale, but, you know, they definitely have miners join the pools and stuff like that. So they definitely, you know, I think that at some point, it might make sense after accumulation, to support the network. And maybe we see some sort of a hybrid scenario where during accumulation of Bitcoin, they start supporting the network just as redundant infrastructure. I don't know if that would become public knowledge, though. It it most likely would because it is a public network. So... But I think more often than not, what we'd likely find is them just aiming hash at the larger pools anyway and maybe even trying to screw around with some of the Chinese pools and templating and stuff. I think that this stuff has already been going on for a long time. I don't think that this is anything new. It might just pick up. But from the privatized mining sector, you know, when when you have this much capital being invested into these miners and many of them considering the sailor slash twenty one, Bitcoin, company, kinda models for... You know, they... Miners operate on very thin margins. So if something bad happens, like a natural disaster or our power outages and redundant systems go down, you know, they need insurance. So that was kind of the conversation that's been kinda top of mind because there's some major insurance carriers talking about somewhere around, like... Eventually, we'll need, like, a $1,000,000,000,000 worth of insurance at some point or something something weird like that. But, yeah, you know, it's a... This is a big deal. It's it's yeah. So they recorded 912,000,000 in net inflows as of April 22. So, you know, these these things are... It's becoming more and more important. So, you know, this this is this is something that if you're gonna build a sustainable network, you need to consider the insurance side of things and and the redundancy side of things as well. But that's a good question. Cool. I hope that hope that we get an answer, like, officially at some point. [0:21:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Am I back? You guys hear me okay? [0:21:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: We can hear you. Yeah. [0:21:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: My I went overly long with that explanation. [0:21:25] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Don't [0:21:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: know why my... No. My thing is, like, it says connection lost, and then it's back, and then it's lost, then it's back. I don't know what the hell is going on. But... Yeah. Cool. What what else? What other stories we got cooking? What's on the timeline? Like, what's happening? Because I I don't know. I feel that right now... Cool. I don't know. Look. Just looking at crypto, I feel like this is this... I get... When I look at this, and I get that feeling of, like, this is the time that I think we're gonna start seeing, like, real prints to the high... Like, to the much, much higher side. We're seeing, like, talked about yesterday, virtuals protocol, these AI agents and stuff. Like, I feel the market is genuinely poised right now to start making a big push up, but what do you guys see it? [0:22:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Now on on on my side, man, it's just, I think, small... From from from my view, a lot of people [0:22:12] Voice J: are still looking for the [0:22:13] Kool @koolcryptovc: next the next big dent. Still looking for these early projects still. I did see something else interesting, I think we haven't really talked about it that much. Ethereum Foundation, I guess, they they have a they have a new... They they have two new heads now, I think. And, they're trying to go back to layer one, man. They're trying to go... They're trying to scale the layer one a lot faster than they've done before. I'm not saying they're going away from layer twos, but but they're trying to... Because I think they've seen the the the the competition make a lot more noise now, like, Solana and XRP and other l ones. I think they're trying to they're trying to go back, man. They're trying to go back to trying to see if they could scale that at eight l one, and, hopefully, they could bring the gases down. I don't know if if if, you know, they they could deal with you in time, but it's just interesting to see. But I I don't know. Like, for me... For my view, it's just a lot of people I follow are looking for the next big thing. They're looking for the next next Kaito, looking for the next Solana, for the next Sui. It's just, you know, it's just a a cost of enhancement because that industry moves so fast. If you are inactive, you're going to be missing opportunities right in front of you. So, that's kinda what I'm kinda paying attention to right now. We we did talk about the, that get help. Right? Or the... A a gift. Give me a... What's it what's it called? Give... [0:23:49] Kool @koolcryptovc: Sorry, sir. Get... Not get... [0:23:50] Voice J: I I gave you your last name. Was gonna... [0:23:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: Sorry. Sorry. Yeah. I... My... Look, guys. I... So I do spend... Look. I I I like I like crypto. I've been here for a while. Sometimes, I do... I need some effect. So I've been watching these females, man, just cry online about being single. So I I... My brain is... I'm I'm I'm wrecked. I need I need stimulation. And so... Yeah. So, yeah, that app is called... What... What's what's it called again? GetRev. Again. [0:24:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: GetRev. GetRev. [0:24:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. It's it's supposed to be next, the next Kaito, Riot, all the hype and this stuff. I will recommend you guys, find a way to interact with this thing. It's... You're not doing much. It's the same as Kaito. You're talking about the projects. You're talking about, protocols launching on them. And, I'm assuming, man, it it might be a big reward, for people that that get it early. And you are early. This pays... We we spoke about this stuff yesterday briefly. They don't have a tweet on their page yet. That's how early, they are. But it's just... You know, people are looking for opportunities now to to to make money, man. I think, it's not hard. It's not it's not easy, I'll tell you that right now, because, the prices have been going sideways for so long. And I just feel like people are kinda waiting to see see what happens with the tariffs and and rates and all these, numbers from from from web two. But, yeah, man. I I think we just waited. We... Well, I... Like I said, this range... I... Look. My thing is we've... I've already gone crazy recently, and May is coming next month. Are we are we gonna see the... A selling May go away situation that we'll be... Usually see? I've heard about the four year cycle being dead. I don't know. What do you guys think about that? About are we gonna have a celery go go away? Are we are we gonna get some... Is the four year cycle dead? It's just talks I see on on my timeline. [0:25:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Well, we also see a lot of decoupling and a lot of different narratives that really... A lot of it doesn't mean a whole lot right now. We're still on track with the normal liquidity cycle. The normal four year cycle end of your pump, not just for, crypto markets, but also for traditional markets. But the the, kind of thumb in the eye of that is the potential for, you know, tighter conditions monetarily, right, where we do see a decrease in growth while... Even though we're seeing an increase in money supply around the world. Right? Global liquidity m two, whatever you wanna look at, is rising, but we also have to remember that in 2018, we were seeing the same thing, and we went into a very deep bear market. It would be out of character to go full bear from here. And the only thing that would make me think that that would be on the table is if we get some catastrophic economic news. But still, on the other side of that, when it comes to cryptocurrencies, they're also being heavily adopted right now. And that is, you know, the Arizona thing from yesterday. Right? Like, there is a whole lot of interested parties, especially in Bitcoin, and that rolls through all the way down to your favorite crap coins. So this is a time in which, anybody that can... Anyone that will tell you a definitive answer, is blowing smoke straight up your ass because it is in a transitionary period where there's just as many bullish signals as there are bearish signals at this particular point in time. And I would still air on the side of history, end of year pump. Maybe we see it a little off timing. But, you know, I'm I'm not... I think that no matter what, if you're in this for the long game, nobody's going anywhere, especially this time around. I think it's not like it was last bear cycle. Even if it was a full blown bear market, I think things hold up a lot better anyway. And maybe we see a bit of changing of the guard considering everything that's happening with adoption. But that's just my theory. I don't know. [0:28:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: I can tell you this, though, Cole, and to cover for Dave because I see he's unmuted but not speaking, and I'm sure he's probably having some issues here, that we just broke the downturn on the weekly. Right? So what are we looking for from here? No matter how high price goes on Bitcoin, at some point, we will see another weekly high, and it will be a higher high. After we get a higher high, we look for either a higher low, an equal low, or a lower low. So two bullish scenarios and one bearish. Higher low would be preferred. Equal low is not as preferred, but still bullish. And then, of course, if we got a lower low, wherever we put in a high, closes below $74,420.69. Now keep in mind, the market is a meme. That... By the way, that's a joke that seems to be that seems to be very true of traditional markets as well. But if we were to make it a lower low at some point, then, obviously, this would be a deviation higher high. But right now, the setup is airing towards the bullish side even with all of the bearish macro stuff in play. And I would... I'd venture to say that if they pull good economic numbers out of their ass in the coming in the coming month and then end of quarter, we might see rate cuts. That's not inherently bullish, by the way. Rate cuts alone are not what's bullish. It's injection of fresh liquidity or capital in QE and printing money. I don't know if we're gonna see that, but very highly likely if things start to really fall apart. And maybe that would line up with an end of your pump. Who knows? We might even pump to all time high right from here. No one can tell you. Right now, we're in a compression. We're on a key level. We start pushing 96 k on Bitcoin. I expect things to rise pretty quickly and for a daily high to come in shortly thereafter. If not, we are closing daily highs anywhere below 93 k right now, right around that low. And then that's that's kind of what I'm looking for, and then we kinda feel it out from there. I've said this before too. Look for liquidity to not roll directly from Bitcoin into alts this time in the way that it has in cycles past. We have much more sophisticated investors in this market. They're in it for the long term. They're in it for accumulation, And the fresh capital coming in is what will kick off alt season. That's when we'll see Bitcoin dominance keel over. But right now, it's pushing. So I'm curious. [0:30:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: You guys hear me okay? [0:30:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: There he is. [0:30:53] Voice B: I'm here. I'm back. Yeah. Yeah. [0:30:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: Stalled long enough. [0:30:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. You're good. You're good. You're good. I saw we had Zach come up. We got something new to the stage. Zach, welcome, man. The ATC. What's going on, bro? What's up, Zach? [0:31:03] Zach Humphries @ZachHumphries: What's happening, guys? Yeah. I I could not agree more with with Landry's sentiment there. It's kinda funny. I see with Costco down there and pay. We're we're just talking about all this this morning, man. It's like, for for the most bearish signal you can find out there, there's there's even a a a bigger bullish signal, and that just tells me that nobody really knows. And it's so different this go around. Right? Like, imagine a world where Bitcoin goes to a $109,000 or with that, and, you know, you don't have your best friend's dog groomer or anybody at Walmart talking about Bitcoin. You know, it's it's being driven by the institutions. They're obviously manipulating the market. We we know what exchanges do with with market makers. I think this most recent pump, you could definitely go back and and kinda see that they they knocked out some shorts there. And at the end of the day, again, you know, to Landry's point, I think if you're playing the long game, you're fine. You know? Just kind of start... You know, just continue to accumulate. And I guess what I'm trying to do is is kinda play both sides of the fence. Right? It's... I buy a little bit of Bitcoin all the time, buy more on red days. It's kinda like my $40.01 k. But there's a lot of money to be had right now, with with trading. I mean, if you go look at the SWE ecosystem right now, whether it's SWE, the native asset, I mean, hell, you've got that... That's pumped like crazy, DEEP that's pumped like crazy, Walrus. So there's money to be had. You know? And and I'm just kinda, you know, taking the 20, 30, 40% here and there and stacking and and leaving it in stablecoins, right, in addition to kinda slowly accumulating Bitcoin right now. And, you know, I'm I'm positioning the altcoins where I wanna be right now. You know, if we get a dip, though, I I have some cash on the sidelines. So, basically, what I'm saying is just try to be prepared for for anything right now because, honestly, I could see this thing going anyway right now. I mean, there... There's really nothing definitive which direction. The one thing I will say that's interesting, you know, so far, Bitcoin, it's never been in this situation, right, as, like, is is this the moment in time where Bitcoin is truly gonna be that hedge, is truly gonna act like gold? Right? I think time will tell. Like, these last three or four months, though, very, very encouraging. Right? I mean, like, when things got super bearish there with with stocks and tech stocks, Bitcoin held up, you know, pretty well against, you know, against the, you know, risky side of the stock market. So will that continue the rest of the year? Like, you know, playing hypothetical, if we do go into a, quote, unquote, recession, which is something you're hearing from one side of the camp right now like crazy. Right? Jamie Diamond and all these guys... Recession, recession, recession. If that happens, how does Bitcoin perform? You know? How does it hold up if if we do get a, you know, 20% dip in the the S and P 500 from here? Right? What happens? Right? So that's something I'll be watching, but I think no matter what, just prepare yourself for for any situation. You know? And and and you'll be fine. [0:34:10] Voice B: I agree. [0:34:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Appreciate it, man. Yeah. Go ahead, Lindy. Sorry. Oh, by the way, Alpha Gamer, you're on probation. I saw you in the ordinal space with 15 other people right when ATC started. There's a reason why you don't get paid. There is a reason why you do not get paid. Just FYI. Forgot how we were yesterday. [0:34:29] Voice J: Yo. People are gonna really think that you're getting to them. Gonna... He's gonna message me later. Be like, yo. What are [0:34:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: you getting paid, bro? Like, bro, I got paid in insults from from, from Judy. That's what I got paid in. That's that's my paycheck. Some good old roastings. Look. One of the big Well deserved. Well deserved. I I agree, Metabeast. I agree. Look. I mean, one of the biggest things in this particular market right now that I'm looking at is even if things were to dump out in traditional markets, yes, I wanna see how how Bitcoin holds up. It is still trading with equities, very closely. You know? And and this is where I do think over time, we are going to see Bitcoin start to actually decouple. I... We're not there yet, quite frankly. Like, it's just not there yet. I think with adopt... More adoption, more, you know, treasury reserve assets, more state reserves, more companies picking it up. Over time, I think that it will be that way. But, also, we're gonna be living in a world where much of the Bitcoin is going to be repackaged and resold, I e, ETF style, kinda wrappers and stuff like that. And and that's probably what's gonna bring its resiliency through the tough times like this. And and, you know, there's arguments for and against that, And especially if you're coming from a Bitcoin maximalist perspective, it's very against that, but it's a free market. Anybody can get in. The biggest thing is even if the traditional markets were to dump out from here, you know, even in the worst of the worst scenarios, going down 55%, it's literally not that far, of a drop and would probably find its lows fairly quickly. We found a a pretty quick low here thus far in traditional markets, and now it's all about the recovery. We're waiting on economic data. That's gonna be the driver behind that recovery. We pushed out so much foreign capital from the markets between the sell off in corporate bonds, the sell off in treasuries, and then, of course, the sell off in the dollar. What does that equal? That equals foreign investment out. So what are we gonna do to replace that foreign investment? Well, we're starting to see the deals coming over. What are we at? Like, 5,000,000,000,000 estimated to be up to 9,000,000,000,000. I think they're gonna start putting out there pretty soon. That's where I think we're gonna start to see movement, but there's a lot of sideline capital. We gotta see where it goes. Are they gonna stuff it all down their shorts, or are they gonna are they gonna actually start deploying? That's the big thing. And I think we'll get our answer pretty soon. I think it's gonna be fairly clear in the next, maybe two to four weeks, I would give or give or take. [0:37:14] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I pinned something to the top right here, and we're talking about being able to handle, the fluctuations in the markets. And you... Well, what businesses that survive fluctuations are ones that actually make money. And everybody here in The States is kind of ignoring Tron, but it's the elephant in the room. It's fast. It's low fees or free to do transactions, and it's yielding ridiculous amounts of money compared to every other single project in the space. So a project that generates this based on its core utility of stablecoins is going to be something that can survive any of these ups and downs. So just put it on your radar because it's happening. [0:38:04] Kkoma @itskkoma: Not to Let's go. Break FUD, SunnyDeep, but I just... I'm just trying to understand the the whole, like, stablecoin thing with Tron. I remember there was some, like, trauma regarding that with the deep pegging. Is that still related to Tron, or is that something else? [0:38:20] Sunny D @dylN0chill: That was, like, a period when they just launched their USDT token. But the stablecoin, most of the profit is made just by on chain transactions, and a bulk of them is USDT. [0:38:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Got it. [0:38:35] Kkoma @itskkoma: Got it. Okay. So that is... So they they don't use that stablecoin or whatever anymore. Right? It's just straight USDT? [0:38:42] Sunny D @dylN0chill: So they launched their own USDT two point o, and that was the one that they were tooting the 20% APY that is... Has collateral and is fully backed. So they just pivoted and relaunched a a new one. [0:39:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: Got it. Got it. Thanks. [0:39:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We talked about this, McCormack. We talked about algorithmic versus Right. Right. You remember this whole... This entire conversation? But... Yeah. Yeah. We we we chatted about this for a minute. But, yeah, Sunny did good good stuff. I did wanna also mention because, Zach, while I have you here, like, did you guys see this story about... I'm just looking through now. The 330,000,000 of BTC that was stolen that went in... That got siphoned through Monero that essentially made Monero pump 50%? You know, this was crazy. 330... It was a Zac XBT post, and, like, it slowly started making its way around. But I don't know if anybody saw, but, yeah, XMR pumped heavy. Did you guys see this? [0:39:42] Zach Humphries @ZachHumphries: I saw the pump, but I didn't see the reason why. That's why. That's wild. [0:39:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yep. Just a little bit of washing going on. [0:39:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, they still have yet to crack... Like, I mean, people have tried... I feel like Monero has been the one true thing that has stuck around, at least since the beginning that I've been around. It's like nobody's been able to crack Monero. Literally, not a single person. Yeah. But Nothing. Yeah. But the [0:40:07] Voice B: the the... Didn't they didn't [0:40:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: didn't they arrest the devs for Monero? And and I... I'm sure. Right? Or the... But I... I I I I mean, I haven't heard about the news since then, but I I thought they arrested him trying to get a backdoor into Monero. I I don't know if they did, but I know that was, like, like, two, three years ago. [0:40:23] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Yeah. You're not talking about the Silk Road thing, are you? [0:40:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. No. That's not that's not Silk Road. No. Not sick with that. They they got got... They tried to get access to Monero, but for some reason. I don't know if... I haven't heard any... Heard anything recent about this, but I know they arrested the dev that built... One of the devs that built Monero. He was from South Africa and something like that, and it it was... It's... Look. They they got him for some case happened twenty years ago, but they wanted to leverage that case to get him to to to tell the feds how to get into Monero, man. I just... It was, like, two, three years ago. I just... I I can't remember if there's any recent updates about that. [0:41:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Are you talking about Fluffy Pony? That was his name. [0:41:07] Kool @koolcryptovc: He was Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's it. That's right there. Yeah. That's him. Yep. That's him. Yeah. [0:41:10] Voice B: What was it? Fluffy Pony? [0:41:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's... Yeah. I I don't remember his real name. Fluffy... I'm looking it up right now. Fluffy Pony. Real name is... I'm asking AI. I'm actually asking Grock. It's Ricardo Ricardo Spagni. That's... He was the the lead maintainer. He was arrested in July '21 on fraud charges related to his previous employment in South Africa, but he was never directly tied to Monero. So I don't think they got anything. They got somebody else in 2024 out of Japan, but I didn't hear about this at all. [0:41:49] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: The... No. Yeah. It was a few years back. They had... They also had, like, was it, like, a hackathon almost? Who let you on app? [0:41:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait a minute. What the hell? [0:41:58] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: They invited... Oh oh, what's up, Dave? What's what's up, everyone? [0:42:02] Voice B: It's a [0:42:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: beautiful day in [0:42:03] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: the Bay Area. And, yeah, this is a few years back, actually. I think they they had, like, a open... What's that called? Bounty. They had a open bounty on Monero. And and the government was basically saying that any Yeah. Hacker that can get into Monero, they'll pay Bro, [0:42:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: the IRS was actively paying fifth... They had a $50,000,000 bounty on who can Bounty. 50,000,000. [0:42:27] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: To crack Monero. [0:42:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro. Yeah. They don't... They give you a $10,000 reward for reporting a murder in New York City, but they were giving people $50,000,000 to anyone that could lead to, like like, anything that could be closely related to cracking Monero code. So, yeah, Gamer, you're a 100% right. [0:42:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: Dave, you did cover this. You did cover this back in October. It was one of the Japanese guys. They picked him up. He was helping to launder funds through Monero, and they picked him up for laundering. So so far, they haven't gotten a direct dev. They got somebody who was a big contributor to Monero and supporting the network. That was the first guy, Fluffy Pony, because that's... [0:43:06] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Well well well, that's... Well, that's what the government... [0:43:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's what the government... [0:43:10] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: No. Yes. They... They'll they'll they'll they'll they'll find the hackers, and then they'll be like, you know what? If you don't wanna go to prison for the rest of your life, crack, you know, crack Monero. [0:43:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Good luck. They won't be [0:43:23] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: able to... [0:43:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Look. Monero's Monero's very resilient, and they have enough nodes to fight it off too. So... [0:43:29] Kkoma @itskkoma: Nothing beats crime. [0:43:30] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: So so why is it that Monero is not bigger? I mean, the privacy in it is what I figure most people want, isn't [0:43:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: it? Because... [0:43:43] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: I mean, I understand it's I understand it's connection to Well... Things. But... [0:43:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: I could tell you many things because it's only used to move funds. If it was an active network that had endpoints and ways that we could spend, you know, and and do things on outside of just having private transactions, then it would be a much bigger deal. I think it's gonna become bigger when you have the likes of Wasabi and, what is it, Samurai Wallet are back on the table now. And, you know, it's just a matter of time and place. People these days don't value the privacy. I mean, look at the centralized the centralized chains that we're already using. Right? Like, no one's talking about the templating in Bitcoin, not not unless I bring it up or somebody, you know, on the team brings it up. Nobody's talking about that stuff. And how it's aggregating all this hash rate and the Antminers come out pretemplated even though you're... You know, the way that the funds are being routed are are are fishy and stuff. No one's talking about this stuff. But if it becomes an actual concern, some some sort of security event happens on a major chain again, you'll likely see this stuff pick up. I know Presley's giving me thumbs down there, but I don't see... She's... She was on the... She was on stage the other day talking about how much she loves Ethereum and how it's the greatest chain that ever lived. God. [0:45:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Wow. [0:45:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: She was like, was nailed.... Straight up, like, she was telling [0:45:11] Voice B: Woah. She was telling a certain host [0:45:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: that that he was picking on on Ethereum too much, and she was there to defend Ethereum's honor. She loved Metallic. Yeah. She... She was all about it. [0:45:23] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I didn't know Presley was... I didn't know she was [0:45:25] Voice J: a Maxi. [0:45:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Get your ass up here. [0:45:28] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Holy smokes. Presley died. Get [0:45:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: get your ass up. I just shot you a mic. You need to get [0:45:33] Voice B: up here right [0:45:33] Voice J: now. [0:45:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: She's at work. [0:45:34] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: I have another question on this then too. So what about... And this was one of them I was interested in when I first got into crypto. What about Zcash, which offers both the privacy and the transparent side? [0:45:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Zcash is... I mean, it's huge. Right? But, like, man... Like, the thing it... Actually, to be honest, if you're asking what the difference between Zcash and Monero is, I don't think I'm equipped to actually answer that question now that I think about it. [0:45:57] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: No. Well, other than it offers a a transparent side, evidently, I guess. [0:46:03] Voice B: Yeah. I mean, that's the [0:46:05] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: main difference. [0:46:05] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. And do... And don't and don't forget too. A lot a lot of exchanges have been delisting these these old privacy projects, man. So the the... They haven't had the kind of adoption you want, Coinbase, I think Binance, even, I think, Cracken too. And they didn't list and see if it has the Monero, man. So... [0:46:23] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Is that because of the privacy aspect of it, or is there other reasons? Do you know? [0:46:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: That's because of the governments, man. The governments don't want users to have access to this stuff, man. That's the reason. [0:46:32] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: That's it. They don't they don't want users to have to... The tools to do money laundering. That... That's their whole basis of of taking all the privacy projects down. Listen. Right? They want... They wanna see everything, you know, everything you buy, everything you sell, they wanna see... They wanna track all your movements. [0:46:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: I... They don't care if you money launder. They want you to money launder in American dollars if you're gonna money launder taxes on it. And and eventually get it back. Well, it's because of velocity of money. You're you're taking and moving American dollars. They'd rather you money launder that shit, and and they'll catch you later. But, realistically, one one of the reasons why Zcash, it's very computationally, like, expensive versus Monero if you were to compare the two networks directly. They're they're built in a different way. I mean, if... For those of you in Bitcoin that understand, like, how Bitcoin OS is doing things, Zcash is the ZK snark net. Right? So that's that's what we're using over there for those that kind of understand what that even means. But, essentially, it's just slower and more expensive versus Monero, but people still use both. Right? But for specific things like hacking and moving funds. But here's the thing. Heuristics will get you at the end of the day because there's always an input and output from these these networks. And it's guys like the Zac XBTs of the world that can then aggregate the heuristic paths in and out of these networks to find the money at the end of the day and find the players involved through all of the various footprints that surround those networks. So, you know, unless you're gonna stay entirely on that network and transact within that network, once you leave, you're... You can... There's a vector for you to be found. Right? And that's where... You know, that's how we know about what the Lazarus Group is doing. That's how we know about what these hackers are doing and where this money goes. It just takes more time. And and that's what they're trying to buy by doing this. [0:48:36] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Landy, please don't use words bigger than you. [0:48:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm so... Boom. [0:48:39] Voice B: Here here you go, buddy. You go. I'm [0:48:45] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: sorry. I had to. You're you're you're heuristic. [0:48:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Heuristic. Heuristic. [0:48:49] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Was what came what came to my mind. Oh, boy. I I had to. [0:48:53] Voice B: I had I had no choice. [0:48:56] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So, essentially, anytime you wanna convert into money, right, or into to cash. Right? It... That's that's essentially what Landy's talking about. You know? That conversion is happening somewhere. The input and output, you know, and and that's what they... That's all they wait for. Right? You could have all the crypto in the world, but as soon as you wanna convert that into dollars that you can go spend, they got you. [0:49:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's the thing. Uh-huh. Look who decided to come off and try and defend it. Hold up. Yeah. I wanna hear I wanna hear the defense of Ethereum, please. Your floor is yours, my dear. [0:49:35] Voice J: Wait. So I'm at work. I'm on lunch. I stepped away. I came back. Landy, what were you saying? [0:49:41] Voice B: I was saying [0:49:42] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: That you're in Ethereum, Maxie. [0:49:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: You were name. Fervent defense of Vitalik Buterin, his unicorns, and his large sausage the other night was admirable. I respect you for this defending Ethereum's honor while it was losing support, not just in mind share, but also the actual support on the chart. And look at, your defense brought it back. It got above 1,800 again. And, you You [0:50:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: said def... But, Landy, Landy, you said defending her back.... [0:50:12] presley.eth @Presley__eth: Landy, I'm making moves here. I'm making things happen. [0:50:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: As an ETH Maxi, [0:50:17] presley.eth @Presley__eth: I am Opening people's eyes. [0:50:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was telling Dave that you are obviously an ETH Maxi and that this is your most preferred chain. [0:50:25] Voice J: As much as you're a Bitcoin Maxi, Mandy. What the... Yo. [0:50:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: The Ethereum No. [0:50:32] Voice J: I would just like to be home security, [0:50:34] presley.eth @Presley__eth: and we're gonna just build layers upon layers upon layers. [0:50:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's like a cake. [0:50:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: You see you see what happens? [0:50:40] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: You see what [0:50:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: The pretty PFPs are gonna essentially end up running Twitter spaces because fucking... Like, people let this madness run what... Defending Ethereum... Presley, how big is your Ethereum? Just rough. You don't gotta give a dollar amount, but, like, it's... Is that a sizable portion of your of your of your portfolio? [0:51:01] presley.eth @Presley__eth: Absolutely not. [0:51:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: So so, [0:51:03] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Presley Presley, you keep doing you. Right? Don't don't listen to the haters landing over here. Just keep pushing Ethereum because, man, I've been holding these moon bags for far too damn long, and I wanna dump on everyone. I wanna offload these Ethereum bags. It's just... Man. Like, it's painful. It it really is painful.... [0:51:27] Voice L: Alpha game. [0:51:28] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Please. Please. [0:51:29] Voice J: Many days are you [0:51:30] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: pushing this [0:51:31] Voice J: up in your pocket? [0:51:32] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Get it to 10,000, please. Get it to 10,000. [0:51:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: I have good news for you guys. Gamer, Presley, I don't have good news for you guys because the next story right before... And, Jay, stay right there. I know that you just came up. I wanna say what's up. The next story I was actually gonna go into was Galaxy Digital deposits 23,900 ETH worth about 42,000,000. No big deal to Coinbase. They bought a 100,000,000 of ETH for Solana last week, and I'm seeing more and more stories like this. [0:51:58] Voice B: So now they're like, alright. Now I'm gonna [0:52:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: put this 42... I swapped a 100 mil. Yeah. I'm gonna go sell this other 42,000,000. [0:52:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: They're just staking it on Coinbase. That's what... [0:52:08] Voice J: They just wanna use it on Solana. [0:52:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: The Day Galaxy wants fucking... [0:52:12] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Solana's the problem child, isn't it? [0:52:14] Voice J: They're gambling. They're on pump fun. They're gonna... [0:52:16] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: One of these one of these chillers and coals gonna start shelling Ethereum so we can sell these damn bags. [0:52:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Excuse me. We need kales. Bildo gave us the name kales. [0:52:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: We need to eat kale. [0:52:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We're AI enabled. Yeah. We... Where are [0:52:30] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: those people at, man? Pump pump this thing to 10,000 so we could sell it all. [0:52:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We're kale. Get it right. [0:52:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: Funny part is is Presley probably doesn't even have any eat. She's probably just got all Solana. [0:52:40] Voice J: That's exactly what she just said. That's the [0:52:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: point, Lynn. [0:52:42] Voice J: All Solana. [0:52:43] Voice B: Oh my [0:52:44] Voice J: god. You're not supposed to say that. [0:52:47] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: It takes a while for it to travel to his ears, Steve. [0:52:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy talk. [0:52:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh my god. Realize it was also lot. I thought at least you had, like, an ETH NFT there somewhere. [0:52:56] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I mean, it's Yeah. [0:52:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, let me tell you what's up. [0:52:58] Voice J: XRP and. [0:53:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, no. We're not going to XRP. Oh, no. Oh, she's [0:53:04] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: on XRP and Bitcoin. [0:53:06] Bread @_ToastMalone: Don't say XRP. They'll all start coming out of the woodwork. [0:53:10] Voice J: Cardano's prime. For fuck's sake. [0:53:12] Voice B: Alright. Guys, what's the army? [0:53:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let me say what's up let me say what's up to Jay. Jay, welcome, man. How are doing, bro? [0:53:17] Voice B: Good morning, everyone. Depending on what what time zone you're in, but it's good morning everywhere in crypto, I suppose. Things are great. I'm at token. I'm just getting home for the night. Oh, fill us in, bro. [0:53:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, what is cooking, man? Like, what's news? Like, what like, what happened to token? Like, I would love... [0:53:34] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Obviously, he's cooking. Right? Well... The desert. [0:53:40] Voice B: The... Well, I... Yeah. It's like... [0:53:46] Voice B: I'll do freedom units. It... It's at least a 104 today. [0:53:52] Voice B: That... That's what the f stands for, by the way, in case anyone was wondering if you speak Celsius. The the f stands for freedom, not Fahrenheit. So... Yeah. No. I... Everyone's out here wearing very light clothing. It's it's quite wonderful. But, yeah, the main subjects of of token this year... Thank you so much. Just getting out of my cap. The main subjects... Thank you. The main subjects of token this year are are AI and DeFi, which, you know, obvious. [0:54:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Def [0:54:30] Voice B: AI. But there's way more agentic AI, way more stuff in that space than any of the previous years and most of the previous, you know, blockchain events I've ever been to. There... [0:54:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: How many how many were you speaking on? Like, are you... Did you... Were you, like, preaching the near gospel? I'm sure, obviously, obviously, you you were. Were. What do you guys got cooking? [0:54:56] Voice B: So I was on two panels today. I was moderating one of them. One of the things I I had DM'd you today just now the... Before I came up on stage, I I always like ending the the panels I'm on or moderating if at all possible with saucy and hot takes. So I had a panel of five different, you know, c level experts inside of AI, and the... I'll I'll forward you guys the clip from this. But the the question was, do you think if AGI happens that there is going to be any selection by that AGI of Bitcoin for anything. And not only did no one on the panel say that Bitcoin was going to be the right solution for AI, No one in the crowd had a defensible argument. [0:56:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: They... [0:56:10] Voice B: It it was, you you know, like meme worthy levels of silence And, you know, other than its functional story as a store of value, actually, one of the people on the panel tried to make the argument, well, Fiat can be far more manipulated by AI. And one of the other people on the panel is like, yes. It's very common that Bitcoin has never been manipulated financially by anyone. And that ended that part of the conversation too. So, yeah, this... One of the main subjects that everyone has come to the realization of during token this year is that outside of token go up in financial instruments, and and I got into crypto in 2011. The thing we all got into crypto back in that day to try to, like, you know, free everyone from the central held powers you you you there? Can you hear me? [0:57:22] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Yeah. I I can hear him. [0:57:24] Voice B: Okay. Okay. It's it's him, not me. Great. Cool. The the the reason we all got in the in the crypto to provide this utility to free everyone from the the, you know, hundred year kind of, like, people that control everything inside of, like, the visas of the world, the banking systems of the world. The only way people are ever gonna switch to something new is with a 10 x kind of improvement. And, you know, people, especially here at Token and and in other places, are are starting to really come to the realization. The only the only moment in time that's ever going to happen oh, and with AI. So the the excitement out here is palpable for that. There there were at least 10 events on AI today across basically every functional major chain or every major chain that has a function, but pretty much through an event today. So... Yeah. I mean, and DeFi and real... Tokenized real world assets are are also pretty big because Dubai, and it makes plenty of sense. [0:58:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: We we we also wanna know where were you tonight? How many drinks also did you have, and what were you drinking? Thank you. [0:58:48] Voice B: That was whiskey diets. And actually, the sound you're hearing and the reason you're asking that question is the fact that I have been up working since 6AM. So it's pure exhaustion. I wish I had had more than about... I had four drinks. But... [0:59:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love it. [0:59:05] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Definitely. Well, Jay... [0:59:07] Voice B: Definitely, I'm crazy or nice. Something in that equation. Four [0:59:12] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: drinks times heat is actually, like, a multiplier of two. So, really, you had, like, eight drinks. [0:59:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Times 6AM wake up call. That's a recipe. Boy. [0:59:24] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: It's called dehydration. Dehydration. [0:59:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yo. Shout out to the... [0:59:29] Voice B: Oh, man. I've had, like, eight different liter bottles of water out here, and I'm still dehydrated. So you're dead right, man. But but... Yeah. Yeah. You you start your day at 6AM. Code until ten. Go speak on the first panel. Go have a whole bunch of conversations. It's exhausting out here, guys. I do not... If you wanna execute, if you wanna build, don't go to crypto conferences. There will always be another, and it will take place roughly two weeks. [1:00:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: One of my buddies went to... His ad token is for $20.49. He said, like, he's getting invited to these events, and they're just giving you free crypto. Like, he say he got, like, like, free $2,000 worth of crypto just for entering the event. So maybe you could just pay for your own plane ticket. [1:00:15] Voice B: Where the hell is that? [1:00:17] Kkoma @itskkoma: You're too busy building. That's the problem. [1:00:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yo. Like, wait a minute. [1:00:23] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Free $2,000. He's not [1:00:24] Voice B: throwing money. What? [1:00:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: How about he hooks us all up with events? I don't get... Last event I was at, I didn't get paid to go there. [1:00:31] Kkoma @itskkoma: They gave you a stick. [1:00:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Literally... I... The only thing I got was comped room, comped flight, and then I had to pay for everything else. And then I [1:00:40] Kkoma @itskkoma: just got my own money. Gave me anything except the comp room and a comp flight. Like [1:00:43] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Oh,. Oh, yes. He said it. [1:00:47] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Said it. You did hear that right, Colma. [1:00:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: Look. I was flown as as as a guest. I had to pay for everything else. [1:00:53] Voice B: I only had to stay [1:00:54] Voice J: in the penthouse suite. Oh my god. [1:00:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Say I was [1:00:56] Voice B: flown in guest. [1:00:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: For the tickets there, which were incredibly expensive on-site after they caught my room and caught my flight to fly me out there. Now I'm stuck. So now I'm out there. Now I gotta pay to get in to go speak. What the hell? That's not cool. [1:01:11] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Yeah. They think that's... You know, when the comp is the penthouse suite, I mean, come on, Landy. [1:01:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Bro, Motel sixes are not penthouse [1:01:20] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Bro, bro, Landy, [1:01:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: what what what what what else do you want, man? They they they pay for your hotel. They pay they pay for your flight. Like, what else do you want, bro? [1:01:29] Voice J: You want [1:01:30] Kool @koolcryptovc: you want some escorts, man? I mean, to help you out with some story. What what else do you need, bro? [1:01:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean Seriously. Booster's a sponsorship. [1:01:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm gonna be The hell? Yeah. I didn't... I got on stage, and then they got me in the freaking chair that's the lowest seated chair that just squishes right down when you sit into it. Yeah. No. And then, of course, they got the stool that they can raise up, so they're sitting way above me. It was very odd. But that's what happens when you're a puking... Puking little puppet. So... [1:01:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: I just want you all to know, Jay, that was just here. Like, that is one of the biggest... That is the gigabrain of fucking gigabrains when it comes to AI. He's literally built near almost entire fucking, like, AI stack across. Like, I don't even know, like, on top of... I don't even know how many other chains. Now I think they're moving to, like, all EVM chains. So that dude is freaking one of the... If you guys didn't have a chance, follow that guy. I'm telling you. I mean, he always... Every time I have him on a space, like, whether it's a Wagmy space or whatever, he's super smart, but it's super dry humor. And you're just kinda like, did you mean to throw a wrench into the whole fucking shit that you did, like, just now? Or, like, what's the deal? But super gigabrain. Like, definitely, it's... Like, if you didn't follow that guy because he is building something insane with Near and with AI. But, Landy, what did you... Like, what do you think about what he said actually? Where he was like, when he asked that panel a question of, like, do you think AI is not gonna be able to fucking manipulate all of Bitcoin? [1:02:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, it's... Look. AI is gonna be able to do tasks much better than humans would do them with anything. So why wouldn't it also do things better with crypto? Right? And I'm not assigning, like, a nefarious bend to that. I... It's it's more of... You know, we have we have these really robust, agents that can already do crazy shit. So having them do shit on blockchain is just as as just as relevant as having them do anything else in your life. Right? Now does that mean that that we have to pay attention in the future for the ways in which market manipulators wanna use AI in the crypto space? Like, no no chain is is immutable to this. If there is, if there's if there's a liquidity pool somewhere, if there is a sell order and and and an ability to buy it, if there's some sort of marketplace, AI is gonna be there. Doesn't matter if it's Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if it's Monero. Doesn't matter at all. Right? Now if you get into, like, the really kinda crazy stuff is could AI potentially, you know, be linked up with enough power to potentially crack networks? That is that is actually a conversation that I had on Monday with some really, you know, very, very smart developers that are, you know, working on... You know, these are, you know, doctorates working on security concepts and stuff for blockchains. [1:04:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Who knows? I wanna have this combo, Landy. I really do. Like, come back up here, bro. Like, shot you the mic. Come back up. I really wanna hear, like, how this goes. Sorry. Go ahead, Landy. Finish. [1:04:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: It was in the context of some guys that were working on the Casper network, but also, you know, it's... There... A lot of it's modeled after Bitcoin, and, obviously, it's not quantum resistant. And neither is Bitcoin, but there is some bips on the table and, like, just debating how this even moves forward. [1:05:09] Voice B: Eric, can you hear me? [1:05:11] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, hey. [1:05:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I told you. [1:05:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: But... Yeah. [1:05:14] Voice J: That's Go [1:05:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: ahead, Jake. What's up? But, [1:05:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: realistically, these are these are concepts that all of crypto is thinking about. And if you add that kind [1:05:23] Kool @koolcryptovc: of [1:05:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: stuff to what we have and what is already being built for AI, it it... You know, there's a lot to think about there, a lot to digest, and no one really... I I don't think anybody really has an answer. [1:05:36] Voice B: JV, I I do, actually. But I'll I'll I'll preface it with a couple really fun things, and I hear hear what you said about me earlier, and I really appreciate that. Thank you. I have a three year bet with Michael Turpin, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose that Satoshi's wallet is going to get cracked by a quantum computer. [1:06:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: In three years? [1:06:06] Voice B: It... So I talked to the person at Stanford that would know this during Stanford blockchain week or whatever the hell it was about [1:06:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: a month and [1:06:22] Voice B: a half to two months ago, give or take. And they pretty much laid out that [1:06:31] Voice B: quantum wise, we're probably looking into 2028 to 2033 depending on on changes on that one. Proof of work chains are highly disincentivized to adapt against quantum resistance, which is a fundamental flaw in the proof of work model. Another fundamental pro... Problems since somebody was mentioning power and AI that people aren't really talking about is proof of work has only had regulatory anti lobbying, but proof of work takes about the power output of The Netherlands probably a lot more nowadays. So AI has a voracious appetite for power. In order to train frontier models, in order to really make that one work, AI needs to go out of its way to clear up any possible power sources that it can do. So by lobbying the Trump administration, and I actually had a conversation. I I... I'm not gonna detail it. Here last night with somebody involved around there, The... There is a fundamental risk that the AI industry is going to lobby the Trump administration or whatever replaces them eventually after Trump retires, I suppose, is going to lobby the federal government at the very least to disincentivize by either removing it from the cryptocurrency reserve, anything in proof of work, or just making it harder to deal with proof of work chains so that they get the power supply from it. So there's a real business lobbying thing as opposed to just regulatory That is an actual active threat that no one talks about. [1:08:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well... Wait till... [1:08:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: This is being talked about. Sorry. I gotta cut in here. Because this is being talked about. I was in Washington not too long ago where these things were being discussed as part of the Bitcoin Policy Institute stuff. And, you know, one of the... In in that... From the from the power side of things... Because the proof of work model that Bitcoin uses is is is... You know, at some point, the mining industry has to transition to decentralized and probably productize and lock the... Whatever they productize to their pools. But we'll see where that goes in the future where it's going to hit that stride sometime in the next ten years. Now the the runway is short, but when it comes to AI and quantum, you know, there isn't a lot of traction right now, but there are bits like Qubit and a few others in evaluating Sphinx and Falcon and, like, all these different, ways in which to enable quantum resistance. When it comes to the the reason why the Trump administration linked AI and and crypto together is because they kind of are trying to head this problem off before it really gets rolling. So I... I've I've been privy to some of these same conversations. I can't say too much more than than that there is an acute awareness of this, especially you'll see interested parties, and this might even answer, Cool's question, from earlier. There's a lot of interested parties because they start accumulating Bitcoin via the Bitcoin Act or if they start accumulating it via, budget neutral means through the treasury, they have a vested interest in protecting the network as well. So, you know, there's a lot of different things at play, and I don't... This is where I say I don't think anybody has an answer because it is gonna be up to the regulatory side of things. And and there could be a powerful lobby that tries to do exactly what you've mentioned, Jay, but these... I I feel like the road the road is already being graded to kind of stave some of that off. We'll see how successful it is, though. Right? That's really [1:10:59] Voice B: kind of a a perspective. I I agree that there isn't, like, a strong contingent there yet because we haven't... Okay. Let... I'll say two things here. But we haven't hit the point where we just simply can't provide enough power. Like, for example, the X Data Center, I guess, we'll call it, inside of Memphis where I grew up has has, like, very, you know, urban heavy and kinda shitty and more expensive power sources it can draw from and then... In addition to the Tennessee Valley Authority dam kind of model. So... But, like, they haven't... The... These big massive super clusters haven't, like, really hit the holy shit, we really need it. But when that starts happening, you know, that... That's when you're gonna see these kind of things light up with really good arguments because, you know, protecting somebody's portfolio versus the interests of the entire country as a whole to compete on a global scale, which Bitcoin is just simply not offering. In that context, Bitcoin has a bunch of really great things. As I said, I got it really, really early in. [1:12:27] Voice B: Mind you, I... There were reasons I didn't stay in and they were all good. But, you know, I... I'm a fan of of the people that got in early for the reasons that they got in early. But, like, you don't... You're not gonna see the US government go out of its way to protect Michael Saylor's net worth. They're... They'll go in to protect, you know, tax revenue. But when it comes down to it, most people who are HODL don't produce tax, which is a fundamental flaw in crypto's argument versus AI. Crypto, by the way, and AI are perfect mates. They should go together. There needs to be a transactional layer for agents and AI. They they need to exist, but it can't exist in a ten minute block time land. It can't exist in high gas land, and it can't exist in chains that aren't capable of staying up all the time. And, you know, I'm not gonna pitch near as a part of this because I'm just trying to have an actual conversation about the underlying nature of what's going on right now. But, like, you actually need to build something an AI needs to use, and that's a competitor to Visa. You need to have higher or at least equal throughput, higher or or better, or at least equal transactional times. I have a question. [1:14:08] Voice J: I have I have a quick [1:14:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: question for you because we hear this all the time, right, where, you know, we we heard, obviously, Jack Dorsey say, you know, Bitcoin needs to be more than store of value. Right? And I I guess I'm... So I'm kinda curious. Right? Or else, like, it can't just be, oh, there's 21,000,000. And I see that... Obviously, like, AI has the... Like, see I what AI is doing. I see what you got... Like, what you're doing and Near is doing and and everything else. So how... And when when talking about this transactional layer, how does AI or how can it... Or maybe in your eyes, like, work with Bitcoin? Like, how do you see them working together? Like, is it possible? [1:14:44] Voice B: Right. Okay. Well, I I I gotta use Near now. And there are other chains that do this, but I'm not saying Near is the only one that can do chain abstraction. But AI should be able to reap your financial net worth in the same way a RID People solution to your net worth can be treated. So, like, Mark Zuckerberg doesn't sell Facebook shares to fund his life. He takes a loan. Your net worth, either via tokenized asset or your Bitcoin store value or your, you know, props to the Ethereum people in here. From the earlier conversation, Mike, all of those things are capable of being borrowed against to buy the things your your AI assistant is actually capable of of taking care of you with. And and, like, a a minor tangent, what you guys are going to see in the next six months to a year, and partially out of near, partially out of many others, is assistance that actually assist. Right now, we have answers that everyone thinks of. Like, when you go to chat GBT, you're asking it a question. I I mean, yes, you are capable of doing scheduled tasks, but most people, your grandmother, your cousin, your friends, the nontechnical literate contingent, which is the vast majority of humans, at least in this context, or the non incentivized to spend a whole bunch of their time automating it. Those people aren't, you know, treating an AI assistant like an actual assistant. They're treating it like something that answers their question. The change that's going to happen and the reason crypto is going to be successful. And finally, after, what is it, nine, fifteen years... And actually, you know, there are plenty of cryptos before Bitcoin, but we're not gonna cover that. So since Bitcoin, you know, it's been fifteen years. There has been no functional utility that wasn't financial token go up, really, for the vast majority of it. Like, yeah, you have some tokenized real world assets. It's tenth of a percent, yeah, of of what actually gets done inside of the world's crypto. Like, you have meme coins. Meme coins are lovely. I love them. I've come up with a few of my own. You know, you have DeFi, and that's perfectly lovely. But when it comes to providing utility for people to free them from the current financial constraints and the current financial system, the promise that we all thought we were doing back then, back in, like, '20... 2009, 2010, 2011, was freeing people from that. And AI is the only thing actually providing that utility, that little tiny moment in time right now. Right now, if crypto doesn't win this, we'd lose. And and I don't mean to be hyperbolic here, but, like, crypto will not win unless we win AI. Because, you know, Visa working with Perplexity or OpenAI, they're just gonna do perfectly fine. [1:18:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: So, Jake, we saw yesterday Mastercard, right, now rolling out, like, you know, stablecoin, and we talked about this here in terms of now rolling out, like, merchant support as well. And we were all Yeah. Hell... We were all hella bullish on the news, obviously, because, you know, that is something where... Like, what we were talking about was how that actually genuinely has an effect on, you know, the grandmas and the everyday users because I... And I relate it... We relate it to... You know, you walk into a bodega to go buy, you know, pack of chips or something, and they're like, cash. And they're like, What do you mean no cash? Like, now the merchants are gonna be the ones that are pushing this because this really incentivizes them to genuinely, like, push the stable coin narrative or the crypto narrative because, a, instant settlement. I mean, like, I'll go down the list. Right? Like, instant settlement. Right? Like, they're much cheaper fees for them. Like, this is their... This is gonna be their version of... Look. Like, we have to wait to get paid from credit card companies at the end of the month, right, for anybody that pays a debit or credit card. So, like, they're gonna get paid faster. Like, when you say if we need cryptos to, like, to succeed or to win, what does that, like, what does that look like? Like, to me, like, crypto is winning. Like, Mastercard is rolling out stables. No? Or is that black? [1:19:50] Voice B: That's not winning. So first off, Mastercard's rolling out stables because there is a fun... Well, I mean, I... I'll I'll use Near as an example, and I'm sorry. And if anyone has a good competing example for this, I'd rather loop more in. So DM me, please. Like, I don't want it to just be a Near conversation. [1:20:10] Kool @koolcryptovc: So [1:20:12] Voice B: when you onboard as a, like, exchange or as Coinbase... I'm not talking about Coinbase in specifics. I'm just, like, putting Coinbase as a hypothetical. When you onboard to a stablecoin, The stablecoin companies will pay you for that. They will give you... Because they're gonna earn what is the perpetuity return rate minus the expected abandonment, lack of a a better way of saying it, of of the stablecoin to try to bring it back to fiat. So, like, you could get easily... Especially from the newer stablecoins, if you onboard from fiat using a credit card and you can clear that regulatory hurdle for them, you could get 5% or more. The Visa... I'm picking Visa. It's not as bad as Amex, but, like, picking Visa, they're all around the same number. You're talking in a worst case scenario about 3%, which means you have about 2% left over that you can use to fund the reason that money came in. So you could give away free AI inference, for example, which means all of your chat assistance become free instead of paying for a premium on chat GPT if you are making sure economic transactions happen. So this is where it gets really, really interesting. Mastercard... And and and, actually, they're a really great team. I've talked to them before. We don't have an NDA with them, and we haven't talked too deeply. But Mastercard's a forward thinking team. You know, I used to work at Capital One at one point in my life. The... A lot of people inside of CrowdFi, I guess, is the way to call them, they're they're forward thinking. They they like like this stuff with, like, the the the narrative that the banks are fighting back against crypto is absolute fucking bullshit and has been for at least five years. So, like, they're looking to figure out ways that they can have more transactional volume in the same way a crypto project wants to have more transactional volume because they're getting gas fees, for lack of a better way of saying it. I'm trying to put it in tokenomics format, but, like, they're getting gas fees on every transaction. So, of course, Mastercard's gonna go out of its way to to try to incentivize stablecoin use, especially when it comes to AI because they realize AI. And even outside of that, like, regular transactional use going through their network. You know, they're they're competing against Visa the same way Sui is competing against Base. I'm just picking random ones. You know, the... It's the same fight, the different industry, but same industry in a way. But, like, it's the same fight. So, of course, they're gonna find any available opportunity to make a crap ton of money and really at that point becomes a business decision. How much engineering time and, you know, regulatory, all all the rest of that kind of stuff. So I I mean, this doesn't shock me. Does it, like, fundamentally move the market? No. Especially for your, like... If you're just trying to invest in, like, token go up, they're in a stablecoin. And when you onboard into the stablecoin, the number one winner in that is actually whoever's stablecoin you onboarded on. Because especially with an uncertain rate environment right now and a large amount of inflation, they're gonna clean house. I... What is it? Circle makes 7 or $8,000,000,000 a year on interest. [1:24:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: The issuer makes the money, which is one of the reasons why the genius act is kind of contentious because of the native yield question. Right? And and... But I'd argue the other side of this because you're gonna see more and more banks go this route. You're having more and more interest in blockchain technology, which is just a hop, skip, and a jump, literally a swap to crypto. So there's a vested interest in protecting crypto, whether it be Bitcoin or any other network. Right? Whether it's near Bitcoin [1:24:51] Voice B: So that there... There's there's a delta here that I wanna make sure we're having the right conversation, so I'm gonna ask you a quick question. When you say crypto, do you mean blockchain technology, or do you mean crypto tokens? [1:25:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, because they are inseparable at this point, because blockchain technology is tokenized. Right? And then... And it's tokenized via stables. It's tokenized via variable priced items of number go up type stuff. And if you're gonna have a transactional economy, we're gonna see all forms. Right? And and that's why in DC right now, one of the bigger bigger things that is being debated and pushed through are... Is stablecoin legislation, obviously, the Bitcoin act and stuff like that. And if you have... One of the bigger things that that was a... Is a hot topic, and Cole brought it up much earlier in this conversation when the show started. But, you know, if The United States and other countries begin to adopt Bitcoin into their treasuries, we have states adopting Bitcoin into their treasuries, that's naturally likely going to lead to other cryptos, maybe even stables. Right? And then if those are in any way exposed to the bond market, either bit bonds or a percentage of treasury assets or corporate treasuries, right, then there's a vested interest in protecting the blockchain networks that all of these tokens are going to be on, that being stable or otherwise. So... And and I think that that is why I... That's one of the reasons why I brought up the point of why there is a crypto and AI czar because this was already seen as something that needs to be addressed now. And I I think that... I don't think that crypto is on the brink. Right? I I think that crypto is on the brink of actually becoming much more widely adopted. When I say crypto, I do encompass both blockchain technology because we've been using blockchain technology for a very long time, but the tokenized blockchain technology as well. I... That's kind of my angle where I come from, at least in the conversations that I've had. But the... It sounds like we've had very similar conversations with people. [1:27:11] Voice B: I mean, I I... I'd send the... If the the long what about Jay thing you you heard earlier is at least partially true, and I'll I'll I'll lean into it. I tend to have spicier and more fun ones. But... Yeah. Pretty much... I mean, like, look. I'll I'll I'll make an example. So so first off, I know from at least 2016 and '17, almost every major bank, And and I actually know the CTOs of most of them because Capital One was, you know, forward facing tech. So I... Yeah. I'm not gonna say anything specifically, but the big ones. [1:28:03] Voice B: They... Like, they were using blockchain technology and had teams for that in 2017. But the other side of that is things are not necessarily better because it runs on a slower and less efficient database. Most of these banks run, have moved or have moved or are starting to move off of their mainframe stuff and are moving to things like, you know, real time event driven architecture. So in crypto, it's like an Oracle trigger [1:28:48] Voice B: off of, like, a Kafka cluster or a Cassandra cluster or, you know, there's several other ways of doing it. DynamoDB can, for example, AWS's thing could scale to more transactions times about a million, and it does, then all crypto chains put together simultaneously. And and unless you have a specific reason it needs to be on blockchain, there's usually a better solution. Now the other part of that that I really wanna get out is does... Everyone I... I'm pretty sure on this chat is is familiar with, like, a swift transaction, you know, or interbank ACH. Like, there's no token necessary to send money across to most of the people. Now there are problems with, for example, a wire that crypto has without AI. So there needs to be inside of crypto in many ways a dispute mechanism, and AI can do that. And you could use a smart contract to withhold funding. But that's not a thing Bitcoin does. That's not a thing many of the other chains do. They all have really great reasons for existing. I'm not, like, arguing that Bitcoin's absolute shit. I will argue that it's a meme coin, but it's not absolute shit. But, like, when you think about it that way and when you really say, like, why would the US government defend a cryptocurrency holding? Like, I I know what you were saying. Like, they're incentivized because they have a free acquisition methods to get Bitcoins or Ethereum or Solana or, you know, whoever else has funded the right way. Whatever. Doesn't matter. But if you... If you're just getting those tokens, that doesn't mean you can't sell it on an instantaneous basis when you decide it's the wrong thing. The government sells highly valuable land all the time. It sells all sorts of things. [1:31:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. [1:31:21] Voice B: Go for it. Yeah. [1:31:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: The counter the counterargument... [1:31:23] Voice B: But interrupt me. I get on long speeches. Please interrupt me, [1:31:27] Kkoma @itskkoma: you guys. [1:31:27] Voice B: I'm not trying to... [1:31:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: The the... My point being that the reason why they'd have a vested interest is because if you look at the proposals that are moving through congress right now, they aren't gonna be able to sell them instantaneously. So they have at least a twenty year period at minimum and a set drawdown period for something like Bitcoin or anything else. They'll use that as a framework for any other cryptos that they would probably wanna put into, the treasury. But point being is they have a vested interest because... Especially, and and this is... Even if you took on ripped out and gutted all of it and said, okay. They're gonna accumulate to this point, but they could sell at any point. If it's in the treasury, they're going to make money off of it. How would they make money off of it? You attach it to bonds in some way, whether it's the BIP bond proposal, whether it's attaching it to treasuries. Now you have to now you have to protect that. And the same goes for the banking infrastructure. So the banking infrastructure... Why did... Why is the banking infrastructure even even considering crypto technologies when there's already faster, better technologies out there? It's because of immutability and security. These are the main reasons why. And in fact, with Near... [1:32:43] Voice B: Wires are immutable too. So, like, counterargument. Wires are immutable. [1:32:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, to... Yes. Yes. They are to a certain extent, but everything has security flaws and vulnerabilities and choke points, and you always have to have redundant systems, which is one of the reasons why you have... You have had the banking, sector already... And I would I would argue that it was even pre 2017 when you had teams that were being spun up to basically head up blockchain internally. And... [1:33:17] Voice B: No. It it was. I'm just telling you exact point in time that I can accurately report that. [1:33:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. [1:33:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. [1:33:22] Voice B: So you're absolutely right. They existed before, [1:33:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: but I'm... Yeah. [1:33:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: But the reason why wasn't because they were gonna be faster. Right? The whole reason why it was for security and immutability purposes and redundant system purposes. Because the banking infrastructure is, you know, fairly easy to manipulate globally in terms of the monetary infrastructure that we currently deal with this day and age. I mean, we can just look to the most recent events in the bond markets and the way that debt works and all that kind of stuff. So there's a lot of there's a lot of thought that's been put into this throughout time. Now that's where we saw a lot of people flip on the crypto script. Right? We saw Larry start to flip on Bitcoin and then now flipping on all of the other stuff and wanting to, you know, get through Ethereum, and now they're working down, you know, the stack, all the majors for alts in terms of what they wanna propose for spot ETFs. This is why it's caught such fire in Washington DC and in different capitals in all of the different states is not necessarily because this is going to be a better, faster system because we're gonna continue to see new blockchains that are faster, more scalable, and pitch it this way or that way or however you want. But at the end of the day, there... I I do foresee an interweaving of the two, and I agree with you that that blockchain needs AI because of the reasons that you stated. But there is... There... I don't see ditching one for the other when you have these things things that are gonna be globally adopted and nation state adopted. Because at some point, if you're gonna if you're gonna adopt something just to have it killed because, let's say, AI is more power hungry and we're running up against the limits, and let's get rid of proof of work stuff out of all of our treasuries. I just don't see that as being a viable option because they seem to have already chosen their options, if that makes sense. [1:35:29] Voice B: I I... Well, so first off, I'm going to be very specific in the way I say this. So hold on. [1:35:41] Voice B: I have no comment about the Fed's current actions and investigations into blockchain. Cool. Now that I'm done saying that. The other side of that is the... And and the really important thing is you... Like, my my argument is not that they're not going to use blockchain. It's that outside of tokens that are deriving an actual real measurable utility and the... Other than store of value because the current financial situation could already do that and they are incentivized, disincentivized other than in stablecoins to make it work for some token. It... It's like America going out of its way to pump the Korean won. It's just not going to happen if they do the same thing. [1:36:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: But my question then my question then is what backs the US dollar. Right? [1:36:55] Voice B: Because we know what backs might of the American military. [1:36:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. It does not. It's The US taxpayer's head protected by the might of the American military. Right? So it's actually US taxpayers that that owe all of that money, and it's the military that defends our interests and spreads our money and freedom around the world. Right? [1:37:19] Voice B: So... Well, I I mean, I would make the argument that the reason The US... The the dollar is a reserve currency is because if you go all the way back to the Marshall Plan, like... Like, the actual financial incentive... It was like a crypto foundation spreading its token out to a whole bunch of ecosystems. Sorry. But, like, you know, this... The... Like, the military is the underlying reason that the US dollar still works because you... It's not that you have faith in the American people continuing to earn money. It's that you have faith that there is going to be a protected stability, and this is something we're going to have a problem with. And, like, look, I wish Trump well in terms of what's happening with the tariffs, and I hope he succeeds in what he's doing. But given what is happening and if you look at the election in Canada and and other things, it's a race to see who breaks first there. And if, you know, it... And China just goes Belt and Road on it, we have a real problem with the reserve currency being being the case. [1:38:42] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: So wait. [1:38:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: So wait. I I don't wanna go down... I don't I don't want us to go down Rabbit hole city. Right? Because I know we're... And we're also well past seven. And, guys, by the way, I have a stream at 08:00. I pinned it up to the top. I'm gonna be chilling with the emblem ball... Boys. But what I do wanna I tell you. The conversation I do wanna have because I I love this conversation. What... The question I do wanna have because, Jay, I think, Lindy brought up a great point. Right? It's the security aspect. Right? Never before did we ever have, right, a money system like Bitcoin to be able, like, for the, like, for the public that, for the most part, genuinely works to be able to transfer money. So my question is, and maybe you guys can debate this, because, like, when we look at AI, how are we supposed to trust that AI... What AI is doing? That's why AI needs the chain. Right? Like, AI needs the blockchain for that verifiability. Like, that's what it needs it for. So I... You're talking about... [1:39:34] Voice B: But it it... It's not gonna use Bitcoin. Okay. That's... [1:39:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's what [1:39:37] Voice B: I'm saying. Okay. Going to choose Bitcoin. [1:39:40] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Right. [1:39:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: You [1:39:41] Voice B: cannot... Even with the Lightning Network, whatever on that part, it gets... Adds way more complication.... [1:39:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Doing that. [1:39:48] Voice B: It it... It's like a ten minute transaction speed for any... Like, think about having a computer running. Like, it just just view it as a pure computer thing. And and [1:40:01] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: it's just...... Fractal Bitcoin is thirty seconds, but [1:40:04] Voice B: go ahead. That's way too long. It is way too long. [1:40:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: It doesn't matter when you can use other chains that that can utilize the final settlement layer of Bitcoin, and they can transact instantly. [1:40:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: So So [1:40:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: so budget... Hold on one second because my point about the about the dollar is the dollar is not a store of value at all. It is... That is the problem. Right? There is no real stores of value outside of commodities. And the the notion that we are gonna continue to use this as a global reserve currency, which I don't think is gonna change, by the way. But my my point there is that the reason why they're even considering backing with something like a Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the future, you never know, maybe even near makes its way in there. I don't know. Right? Nobody does. We we can't project that far into the future. But the point is is that if you're going to put it in the treasury, it means that you're going to attach it to that fiat dollar for backing at some point in some vector, whether it be through treasury assets or directly. And that's where that's where then you have to you have to defend the other side of that. Right? And it... The... As it stands right now, fiat currencies go crazy, and we're seeing intrinsic... We're gonna see ever increasing inflation for the rest of time unless there is some vector of backing because there will be no point in time where the American packs... Where the American tax payers can actually make this up, and the military will run out of money. It will become too too expensive. You'll have countries that cut off goods and services and minerals and everything else that we would need to even continue to build in that way, and then everything collapses in on itself when we go back for a nice reset and hopefully AI can raise all our babies. But, realistically, I see the interweaving between the two, and I see the vested interest in Washington and everywhere around the world at this point in investing and securing both crypto, and it's not just a Bitcoin thing. It's crypto in general. And... [1:42:16] Voice B: I'm not making the argument against crypto. I'm making the argument against treating Bitcoin like the store of value here. But... In Okay. In terms of, like, The U... Okay. So, like, to go to your earlier argument, you're like, well, they're gonna stop supplying, you know, the US army. When that has happened in the past, like, you know, you you talk, you know, sixteen hundreds with Spain or, you know, Sweden with its navy when they were building the Vassa or, you know, England, which, by the way, the sun never set on the British Empire for, like, two hundred years, but they finally... It's set, like, a couple of weeks ago. Like, you... The military will fight for itself. [1:43:16] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Before we go on the history lesson, I'm about to go into a tunnel. But I just wanted to get your thoughts on the projects that are doing the dual project layers. Meaning that, like, Solana is the scalable layer, and then they're using Bitcoin as a security layer. That's the Zeus project. And then now I just heard Sui is doing the same thing. They're using Sui as the scale... Scaling layer, and then they're using Bitcoin as the security layer. So what are your thoughts on this duality of projects where they're basically using Bitcoin, like what you're talking about, right, as the security layer? But then... So what if what if Near comes out? Like, know what? We're gonna be using Near for the scalability. [1:44:01] Voice B: Near near Oh. We we have chain [1:44:02] Kool @koolcryptovc: There you go. [1:44:03] Voice B: We have chain abstraction. We have chain abstraction, and we have an internal joke, and I think I tweeted about this the other day. We now support almost every major crypto inside of chain abstraction and intents, and we're you... We have 600 block time and 1,200 finality. So we have a running gag that essentially everyone else is in l two. But, like like, yes. Of course, you know, any asset people wanna assign value to, you can support within the... We'll call it gen four crypto projects that actually interoperate. Course, you know, any asset you wanna, you know, provide some sort of value against, yeah, you can support that. But I'm... It like No, [1:45:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Jay. What he's saying is they're tying it to Bitcoin, Jay. Right? Like, this is this is the premise here. It's like, these other chains are literally using Bitcoin as the settlement layer, and does that... Like, that has to be, like... They're doing that for a reason. So when Landy says security, right, and Gamer is making the point that, like, suey. Right? You're look... You you look at Bitcoin OS and ZK proofs, and they're looking to obviously expand, like, Bitcoin is the most, quote, secure chain that we have. And that's why, like, [1:45:35] Voice J: you came in... [1:45:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. When you came in, you're like, you're gonna crack. [1:45:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: And security. [1:45:39] Voice B: Yeah. I would I would make the argument first off that proof of work, the people that can still afford to do proof of work, yeah, they might be on different mining pools, but it... More than 51% exists. So, like, that is not as immutable, but we're... I'm gonna ignore that. [1:46:05] Voice B: Almost every chain has functional enough immutability at this point. Like, I'm sure some of them don't, but, like, they they have proper distribution. You know, there are enough validators on the proof of stake once... That's that's fine. And if you wanna settle in Bitcoin or you wanna settle in the US dollar or the Chinese yuan or, like, wherever, you should be able to do that. And AI will choose whatever is best for the person. Now... And if you have a lot of Bitcoin, yeah, you wanna stable and settle in Bitcoin. Cool. No. No. No. That's not what he's [1:46:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. [1:46:44] Voice B: That's not [1:46:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: what he's saying. Yeah. That... Like, the point is, Jay, like, Bitcoin as the... Meaning... I... Let me ask this. Maybe let... Let me go back. Maybe we're we're we're phrasing wrong. Jay, do you feel that Bitcoin is the most secure blockchain in existence [1:47:01] Voice B: Defined secure. Immutable. [1:47:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: You can't... Do you... Like, you can't... You're not rolling back the Bitcoin blockchain. The most decentralized that we have as well to also essentially add to that security layer? [1:47:16] Voice B: You could a 100% port the Bitcoin blockchain if you wanted to No. For... That would be [1:47:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: very difficult. It'd be very difficult. Not not speaking hypotheticals, because that's a hypothetical that that could be accurate. Right? But there is no real there is no real proof of that. Could it be in the future? [1:47:38] Voice B: The question is, is it more immutable than at least 10 other chains? And I don't think that that would be the case. I think they're all pro... Like, major chains are properly immutable.... [1:47:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Secure and immutable. Which ones would be more secure and immutable would be the question then because there isn't nearly as much distribution. You can't pop up a proof of stake node without incurring massive amounts of costs or owning a lot of the coins [1:48:08] Voice B: at just... I I fundamentally disagree with that statement. You can... There [1:48:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: might be a chain that you can pick, but [1:48:17] Voice B: I can I can? There are...... [1:48:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Note in [1:48:20] Voice B: Suhi based, Ethereum, Solana, all work on commodity hardware. So you're talking a $100 a month [1:48:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: or your own person...... Spin up a node. I can literally spin up a node without... With SBC connected to the network via satellite, and I can transact, like, with Bitcoin. Like, that's the... That's one of the reasons why it brings down the barriers there, which is one of the reasons why that... [1:48:53] Voice B: I'll I'll give you a I'll give you a counter argument to that. And we'll we'll say a blockchain. I won't talk about anyone of this... [1:49:04] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: Is it a hypothetical one? [1:49:07] Voice B: No. It's not. I'm just not naming a a blockchain that has its validators running and block producers running inside of nuclear missile silos that cannot be disconnected from the Internet as long as satellites still exist on several major networks. Multiple networks, at least three years of fuel. If you nuked three countries, least one in... I think it's three blockchains would still... That our proof of work would still be functioning. [1:49:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Well, the same can be said of Bitcoin as well because we know [1:49:52] Voice B: that The US blockchain is awesome. My my my my argument is, you know, just because, you know, proof of work has this redundancy built in that anyone can run a node... By the way, running a node, just pulling down the the blockchain... How many people [1:50:10] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: are gonna be left around after a nuclear arm is set off to begin with? [1:50:16] Voice B: That's my point with Bitcoin. [1:50:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, [1:50:18] Voice B: the... Like, if you if if you get into the scenario where all this shit falls apart... [1:50:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: The the... Here's the thing. The... You could... Listen. I've been in the industry for a very long time like yourself as well, and I've had a lot of these different conversations. And I also support a lot of proof of work, proof of work and proof of stake. Like, I do support proof of stake networks as well. And this is always the same, the same, pros and cons for both. Right? And in this case, you know, for every con that you can pick out for Bitcoin, there is a pro. And the... In this case, you know, you can... If if we get nuked and let's say all of the different miners are gone and there's only a few miners left, difficulty drops off the map. You switch to mining. You can transact. You can mine. You can do anything. And you could still transact as long as there is somewhere that is mining blocks. We have that reduction. [1:51:16] Voice B: What what if you what if you take [1:51:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: proof of [1:51:18] Voice B: stake change. [1:51:18] Kool @koolcryptovc: What if you take [1:51:19] Voice B: the pop locations off inside of the actual networking layer across country? Because, like, let's say you get theoretically nuked here. Let's... Because this is a prob... This is an actual problem with proof of work. You can easily get slip brain if you cut the networking layers in the event of... And let's be honest. This is actually a risk we have right now of the world stopping working together. No. No. Because the the validators would stop transacting. [1:52:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. Meaning that you have a network lockup. You you Yeah. [1:52:04] Voice B: Where where where instead inside of Bitcoin and... Or proof of work in general, if you lose networking across these other validators, you could send a transaction in The United States, take your private jet over to El Salvador, send another transaction there, keep doing it because you can't read across these states. So in the event of an actual problem and and and really all of these arguments and my problem with some of these arguments, and I'm just trying to visualize this for people who who might be listening in, is, like, these arguments of, like, stability and immutability aren't actually as strong as they are because the situations where they come up, Bitcoin truly has a big problem. And and proof of the word facilitates that problem when you lose networking. [1:53:03] Voice J: It [1:53:03] Voice B: doesn't...... Different geos. [1:53:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: Especially if if you're talking about if you're talking about satellite connected installations, it'd be very hard to get split brain because it's a theoretical problem. [1:53:13] Voice B: We can take out satellites. [1:53:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: But now you're but now you're expanding the definition of what is going to happen. That's the point. [1:53:23] Voice B: I'm not. You're really talking about an actual situation where things fall apart. Everything's on the table like that. [1:53:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Satellites, your proof of stake network isn't gonna do very well either. [1:53:36] MetaBeast @AKCMetaBeast: It's the end of the world that's... [1:53:38] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So so getting so getting back to my original question away from... You know, we kinda give you it off the path here. So there's this thing called the blockchain trilemma. Right? It's something that's going back way, way back in time. Right? So what I was referring to is the scalability and security. Right? The two legs of this, you know, the the triangle here. And what I was referring to is, like, for example, Zeus. They were utilizing Solana for scalability and then utilizing Bitcoin for security. Right? And then we heard, you know, recently, SUI is now doing the same thing. SUI is gonna be the scalable... Scalability layer and Bitcoin security. And then now, you know, I heard you say, Miro is doing. So so why is that all these projects, you know, are using Bitcoin for security and then then their own project for the scalability and decentralized part? [1:54:41] Voice B: I mean, that's an easy question. That's that's the easiest question. Go for it. [1:54:45] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Go for it. [1:54:47] Voice B: Let's say you have access to tons of capital, and it would fundamentally help your chain to get the people with tons of capital interested in you? Are you not gonna go out of your way to accommodate those people? [1:55:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: Have more capital they have more capital in TradFi markets that they can raise from than they're gonna get from Bitcoiners in the first place because Bitcoiners don't sell unless they have a DeFi way to lend it... Lean against it and actually go out and buy things. See, the the argument isn't isn't necessarily... And Alpha Gamer is pointing something out, and it's a flaw in a lot of this logic that that ends up becoming on both the Bitcoin side and the proof of stake, you know, proof of work, proof of stake side of things is, one, you have proof of stake you have proof of stake, chains that are utilizing Bitcoin for their secure for the security and immutability. The main reason that he's baiting you into the fact that it's the largest network... The largest blockchain network on the planet is what he's baiting you into. Because... That's what my... [1:55:49] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Why why are gonna call [1:55:50] Voice B: me out like that, Landy? Well, I mean, that that was that was my response. That was my response. It's like, of course, [1:55:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: you're gonna go. [1:55:59] Voice B: It... It's not the... It's... I mean, yeah. [1:56:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: You Alright. Listen. Listen. Listen. Rabbit hole city. I gotta get myself in the shower, so I'm gonna let this conversation go on as you hear the shower in [1:56:11] Voice J: the background because I gotta look pretty on the livestream. I can't be showing up in the livestream looking like a fucking dungeon. [1:56:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't forget the handwriting. Listen. [1:56:19] Voice B: Hold on. You're in crypto. The worse you look, the more people are gonna trust you. [1:56:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's a good point. That's a good point. Don't forget about the hand.... [1:56:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: Speed round. [1:56:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't forget about the hands. Matasco and Gold One came up also. So guys, involve them in the convo. Landy, go for [1:56:32] Voice B: it. Think Hawaii male models. Talk to the hand models. Go for it. [1:56:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: And, Jay, I wanna... [1:56:38] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Go go for the hands. Who has their hand raised? [1:56:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hold on. I Hold wanted to say, Jay, by the way, I I know that I'm I'm challenging from the other position, but I also understand where you're coming from, and I wanna say this is a great conversation. I can't see hands. Can anyone see hands? [1:56:52] Voice B: I can. You want me to do it? [1:56:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Can you... [1:56:56] Voice B: Muthasko. And I'm sorry. I can't see the rest of your name. [1:57:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: I think you got it right. Yeah. Correct. [1:57:05] Voice H: Dominant... Dave. [1:57:08] Voice B: By the way, it's 03:30, and I will drop randomly at some point in the next fifteen to thirty minutes. [1:57:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's all good. [1:57:16] Voice H: Dave, you need you need to extend these spaces and let Landy cook. It looks like Jay and Landy are having such a great conversation here. But my my point I'm gonna make is this. As I listened to you talk about this, Jay, I don't know if you're familiar with, Kenneth Rogoff. He wrote a paper on Bitcoin regarding, the transactional utility of Bitcoin. I think he did an excellent job there because he kinda broke it down. And I think what he came out with with his analysis was that globally, 7.4% of all Bitcoin's, transactions are done, like, literally, like, for wealth transfer. And he broke it down from domestic, and then he categorized it around regions. And I think he talked about capital control regions, like, you know, if you talk about Nigeria, Argentina, and other places. The reason why I'm saying this is if you read the the title of that paper of speculation aside, what is Bitcoin used for? And the reason why I'm going on this angle is October 2022, I I think it was TEDR. Yeah. TEDR launched a program in in Brazil, and it was in collaboration with Techban, SmartPay, and Tether. One of the things that I've heard... And I've listened to Paulo talk a lot. And every time he speaks, one of the key things he says is that you have to take the product where it's needed. And I think what he also said was most of the people that are using USDT today do not ask the question, is it secured? Where... Is it on this blockchain? [1:59:05] Voice B: Not at all. You're right. [1:59:06] Voice H: None of that. Right? So I don't know what your take is on that in terms of, like... Because one of the other thing he said about the recent report on on Seco and USDC, and what they did in in their collaboration with with Coinbase was that... And the question I have for you is on distribution. Is it is it important if you're a blockchain... Let's say you figured out the architecture, everything. Right? Is it important to have a distribution partner? And what role do they play in getting you to that end goal? [1:59:43] Voice B: So I'm really glad you asked it. I'm going to say... And and it's a running gag, and you're gonna read through it. If you're smart enough, I'm going to say the exact same thing. I can't comment in particular on what the African Central Bank is doing inside of crypto. Now that I'm done with that one, having talked to many of the countries there, further south from where I am, so I'm gonna call it down there. But having talked to, call it, principles in those countries, the majority of their users... So there are three hundred fifty and five hundred million people in in crypto right now. [2:00:34] Kool @koolcryptovc: Right now. [2:00:35] Voice B: A lot of those are dead accounts, yada yada yada. So, like, you're really probably talking about a 100,000,000 functional users. Many of those people aren't mobile phone only. Most of Africa, most of many other countries, the way that they access are purely mobile, purely, like, they're they're they're not anywhere near thinking about, like, you know, is this a properly distributed thing? They need to pay somebody else quickly. And, you know, in a lot of their cases, they wanna try to hide the transactions too. But for many of the African countries I have personally talked to, and I guess I could say it that way. For many of the African countries, their biggest utility for crypto is not actually in personal financial management. It is inter country resource management and transfer. Like, for example, I'm thinking of a specific one that I won't get into, is is really big in in a particular cash crop. And, you know, what ends up happening is the farmers will collect all their stuff and go to, like, a wholesale thing. That wholesale, which is sometimes the country, will will, you know, take some sort of an import or some sort of a financial thing and then ship it out to multiple places. So, like, people that these these relatively... I mean, we're talking about the global poor here. Like, they're not... They're... They have no interest in token go up. They have... Only interest, the the vast majority of these people, there are billions of these people. And this is where crypto really matters for getting people out. The most important thing is, you know, they're not going to be... Have their net worth immediately stolen. They're they're not gonna have, like, the cash under the mattress for lack of a better way of saying, take it away from them. It's not whether or not the chain is secured. It's whether or not their wallet is. And and, like, a lot of the ways you protect against that, you you know, you have... I'm in The UAE, and I'm not specifically talking about The UAE, but The UAE has a digital identity system. And and it's, you know, crypto focused too. Like, that that, like, ability to retrieve your wallet and anti fuck with it. You know, it breaks the, you know, some of the immutability. It breaks some of the, like, accesses of control, but it is important to these people. It matters. You know, your your grandmother is never gonna fucking understand how a transaction works. She just wants to, you know, get her Social Security or or that kind of benefit and be able to buy things with it. So, you know, if you fail the... I... A normal nontechnical person can use this, and if you fail the acceptability, you you you just fail. It it it doesn't work. So, like, I mean, the the the the point you brought up, like, is is this useful to these people? Like like, is it a... Is it... Like, Brazil, for example... Actually, I I can't get into Brazil. We'll pick another country. Argentina. [2:04:26] Voice B: You know, they're way more concerned way more concerned about whether or not it's actually useful and could be used to externally facilitate trade. It it it is barely gonna scratch the surface in terms of personal financial liberty for the vast majority of citizens there. And, like, yeah, El Salvador is buying a crap ton of Bitcoin, but, like, you know, it it... When the vast majority of your GDP becomes Bitcoin, you're gonna sell. Like, you're just gonna make sure your country has no debt. You're gonna buy infrastructure projects and try to get a higher rate of return than what is possible inside of crypto. [2:05:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, it... I would... I'm gonna push back against that because the whole point is not to sell and to actually lean on the other side of it. Right? Because if you sell, you're committing to exchanging for something else to get something done when you can just loan off of that. You can take [2:05:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: a loan [2:05:38] Voice J: off of [2:05:38] Voice B: But but let let... Let's talk best case scenario. Like, Bitcoin's a million. Right? El Salvador has a metric fuck ton. Still has debt. Still has people that are starving, not doing well. Do you think, politically... [2:05:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Because this is a this is a very, very tailored situation. Because if Bitcoin theoretically hits a million dollars, which I don't see at any point in our lifetimes. No. But... [2:06:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: But we'll [2:06:04] Voice B: we'll drop that point. [2:06:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: If it did, all they have to do is monetize bonds. And they're gonna get so much investment that they will cannibalize all of their debt, and they can use whatever... They can even back currency with it, and they can just use the currency as a vector it. It it gives them options the same way that it can give The United States options and all of these other countries that are looking into it options, which is [2:06:27] Voice B: I'm not I'm not I'm not arguing whether or not they would take loans. I'm arguing whether or not as a political entity, somebody wouldn't go out of their way to be like, somebody is starving over here. And if this Bitcoin goes down, we're broke again. Let's fix it. And, you know, at a certain point, you... You're just gonna have... And and I've seen this institutionally in The United States, in large corporations when... Like, I'll give you an example from Capital One when I used to work there. Capital One was told by the city of Richmond, Virginia where it was headquartered. And it has multiple kind of headquarters right now, like McLean, Virginia, for example. But Richmond, Virginia had so many of the jobs related to Capital One that they told them to stop hiring in Richmond. [2:07:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. [2:07:30] Voice B: Because if Capital One failed, Richmond would die if it was too much of a risk. And and at a certain point... Yes. Obviously, they're gonna take loans. Obviously, they're gonna try to keep their portfolio going as much as they can. But at a certain point, you can't take the risk that it goes down to the point... And it it... Like, it it is purely on the faith and credit of the Bitcoin network. Like, you you you just simply can't take the risk as a underdeveloped, and I don't mean that specifically for any country, but, like, I'll I'll even make it... Like, let's say it's The United States. The... Our infrastructure has a d grade in the vast majority of the cases. We have breaking bridges. We have things that collapse. [2:08:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: I understand that. [2:08:22] Voice B: If if if crypto... Any crypto [2:08:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: right there because I Go for it. I was gonna say this is true of any crypto. It's true of any fiat. Right? This... So it doesn't matter. You could switch out Bitcoin anything else that they're that they're getting big on, right, and collecting in their reserves and adding as countries. Yeah. Because because it it it doesn't have to be a Bitcoin. It could be any one of the cryptos. It could be any asset. It could be gold. Right? We already know the problems that that the, Bank of England had with with meeting demand for gold, for gold redemptions. We already know the shipping back and forth between the banks overseas in New York. We already know that that... You know? So these things can be said of anything. The... I think the point is that, I wanna go... Kinda go back to what Alpha Gamer said. One of the biggest things that we're seeing right now in crypto in general, and and I think that this is going to... As AI becomes more predominant in crypto and outside of crypto, so web three, web two, that connection, I think that what we're gonna end up seeing is because Bitcoin is the larger network, because it has the most capital on it, because of all these becauses, becauses, we're going to see networks begin to try to fight for settlement on layer one while utilizing their networks and and layers above them to facilitate all of the things that we wanna get done so that grandma doesn't have to do anything. She can look at her phone, tap a button, it's done. It doesn't matter what kind of chain obstruction happened in the background. Yeah. But at the end of the day, she can know, hey. At the at the end of this road, that final transaction hits hits a Bitcoin block at some point because that'll be either advertising, for the security and immutability portion. You're gonna see a lot of this kind of stuff. So in my... In in my personal view, and this is something that that I have no problems changing over time either, is that AI is going to power that top level layer. I've heard it called layer four at some point by someone. [2:10:25] Voice B: I I made a I made a joke that it's web six, actually. [2:10:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's web [2:10:30] Voice B: two. It's web two, web three, and you add one more for AI. And and the only reason I went to web web six instead of web five or whatever is fucking Jack Dorsey. But, like, you know... No. And and I get what you're saying. And it... And and a 100%, I I think you you should take it even one step further. Grandma doesn't care. Like, in the same way you probably don't care, and the vast majority of people on this call don't care when you, like, send a Venmo request, what happens after the Venmo part. [2:11:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: I don't care how it settles. I just want that shit paid just like everybody And [2:11:21] Voice B: when the AI abstracts that, it's really just... Yeah. The AI did it. And and then that means, like, whatever AI chooses, especially as it gets smarter, is probably the winner. And and that's... And it may not be near. And I'm not trying to say that it's gonna be near. I I think it will, but, like, whatever. I think the thing that really... Like, the the thing an AI would choose is the most logical choice is us... The most efficient use of a transfer mechanism that goes up because of gas fees. [2:12:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: I... But but my point... Hold on. My point to you is just like layer two settle on layer one, you can you can have your... Whatever you want done, and AI can even do it, like, on a... Well, I'm just gonna use base as an example, and I know that's not the prime example for this. But you can [2:12:16] Voice B: go to base... Base is doing some amazing things in AI. They are. They are. [2:12:20] Voice J: They are. [2:12:20] Voice B: They really, really... Of of... Like, I will go out of my way say... To say that base is the, other than Near, the most well attuned to the needs of AI of any cryptocurrency that I know of. [2:12:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: Agree. I actually I actually agree. And and I have... I am also in Near. I'm in Base and all of this. But the the point being is that base transactions ultimately settle on layer one Ethereum. And, eventually, I foresee a day when layer one Ethereum's gonna wanna settle on Bitcoin because they're gonna want that shine of security and immutability, and we're attached to Bitcoin in this way, and we're now layers upon layers. And then all the Bitcoins will celebrate. Yeah. Wait. Wait. Wait. Everyone's gonna celebrate and say, yay. ETH was the test net. Anyway, the point being is that at the... No one cares where the where the final transaction settles even if it settles on Bitcoin because they're gonna be able to do everything they wanna do in an instant and then still have it settle on Bitcoin is my point. And that's what we see that the industry is starting to drive towards, which was what Alpha Gamers point was, is that we're already starting to see this. And it does... It's not that I'm settling a Bitcoin, meaning that the transaction was in Bitcoin. Instead, it's settling on a Bitcoin block for the security and immutability. It's utilizing their base chain and layers above it to facilitate what AI might wanna do on what I've heard as a layer four. You can call it web six. I actually really like that. And, actually, just... Grandma just wants to get her payment or pay something. She does it. It utilizes... AI utilizes whatever network, but because we're we're kind of accelerating towards this future where more and more blockchains are trying to settle on layer one Bitcoin via op returns or via whatever, at the end of the day, doesn't matter that that we're we're transacting in USDT, right, or something else. It's settling there, and it's utilizing all of these layers as stack through chain abstraction to do so because these networks are already driving towards getting that layer one settlement and security. And I think that's where there's gonna be a vested interest in protecting and maintaining Bitcoin beyond many of these other nation states, states, so on and so forth companies. Because all of the other things that we talked about, doesn't matter what you put in treasuries, doesn't matter what a country does. If their debt is too big, they'll blow up eventually. Right? If they can't solve the problem. Right? And if they don't have assets to lean on, whatever those assets look like, they're done. They're kaput. Right? We're in a new world. [2:15:09] Voice H: It's pretty... Wasn't that the original plan that you guys knocked off Vitalik? Oh, am I missing something? [2:15:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. Well, I was not a part of this in Glasgow. I I was only just beginning mining in 2011. I wasn't... And I supported... Listen. I I went in and I supported Ethereum. I supported XRP. I supported all of the vampire chains. And then eventually, they no longer wanted to be Bitcoin anymore. They wanted to be their own thing, and I still supported them. So, I mean, I still support a lot of networks, not just Bitcoin. It's just the one that I rep the most because [2:15:45] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: it's pricey.... How you left out Cardano. [2:15:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: I I... I'm not currently supporting the network on Cardano. I own Cardano, and I've talked to Charles plenty of times now. [2:15:55] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, I'm just fucking with you, Landy. [2:15:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: I know. I know. I know. You got me too because I... I'm thinking I'm I'm gonna try to talk to to Charles about a few things if I can pretty soon. [2:16:11] Voice B: So do we have another hand up, by the way? Sorry. Go ahead. [2:16:16] Voice J: No. No. I was just gonna say that, you know, today's been [2:16:18] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: a a fun discussion, hot takes. And, yeah, this this this was a good one. This is a great space today. [2:16:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I can't even see who I let up here. So I apologize. So I hit buttons, and then I heard beeps and boops, and people came up, but I can't see who. [2:16:43] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was trying to let one person up. [2:16:46] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Nightmare and exclamation point question mark, which I typically wouldn't have let up. So, hopefully, there's something... [2:16:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: Was trying to let Mara up, and I saw he requested. And, of course, it didn't actually let him up. It let two other people up. But... Hi. Do you guys have anything to say? Anything to add? [2:17:08] Voice J: Yo. I got the mic. I got the mic in my hand. What's happening? [2:17:12] Voice H: What's up? [2:17:14] Voice J: Shoot. I mean, as far as me inquiring about the space, I'm all about social cryptos. Anyone have any social cryptos? [2:17:26] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So your take on the blockchain trilemma is social crypto? [2:17:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: Social cryptos. Yeah. But, unfortunately, he can't answer us anymore because that wasn't really the point of bringing [2:17:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'll leave you guys for ten fucking minutes. It's fucking anarchy in here. For real... I [2:17:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: mean, seriously. Look at this. I let up, like, a bunch of different accounts apparently that I can't see. [2:17:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: What happened to gold one? Did you... Did we at least get to gold one? I told you about two hands. I heard Metasco. I didn't hear gold one. No. [2:17:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: You didn't. I don't know what happened. I couldn't even see gold one. Is he here still? [2:17:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: He was he was up there. [2:17:57] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Yeah. Twitter Twitter is rugged, and I can't see see anything. Yeah. [2:18:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: I can't. I I literally was trying to let Mar up because I'm sure he has something really brilliant to add to the conversation. And instead, I let a bunch of other people up, Apparently Yeah. [2:18:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I don't even know. Y'all got y'all got twelve y'all got twelve minutes, so wrap it up. [2:18:18] Voice H: What's up, Randy? [2:18:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: What's up, Mar? How you doing, brother? [2:18:21] Voice J: Listen. I got a question, man, because I I haven't even been able to understand what the hell you guys are talking about ever since I heard I heard the first comment from that individual. Did did he said that Satoshi's wallet [2:18:52] Voice J: to break his wallet than what it's worth now, [2:18:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: Martin Caplan?... Cost money. It's it's... The point is to try and reverse engineer the non migrated hash address over and then crack it via the [2:19:07] Voice B: public. Can I explain this? Wait. Wait. Can I explain this, like, on five real quick for you? [2:19:12] Voice J: I'm I'm I'm worried because my wallet, it's sitting right underneath his wallet. You know? [2:19:17] Voice B: Right. Well, I... I'll I'll put it to you this way. I highly doubt that, brother. I highly doubt that. Mean, you're almost certainly not. But but, like, think about it like a bug bounty program. You have a $100,000,000,000 reward for quantum computing. Quantum computing is basically you have multiple guesses at the same time. I'm really oversimplifying this. You have multiple guesses at the same time in the more qubits, like a a bit inside of a a CPU. The more qubits you add, the, more simultaneous guesses you get. So if if AI and other things drive this quantum computing thing to be more successful very quickly, then as a just functional math thing, you have enough guesses simultaneously at a relatively cheap cost to break into that wallets encryption. And, you know, you then go down the list, but the moment somebody hacks Satoshi's wallet, the more profitable thing to do is buy puts on micro strategy and a 100 x leverage short and then send one token off of Satoshi's wallet and Bitcoin crashes. And you make way more money than even selling selling... Like, proving that you can... You you have a perfectly safe not argument kind of a thing. Like, no one's saying you stole it. You're just financially... Like, you made out way more than a $100,000,000,000 if you do it that way, and you're not guilty of a crime. [2:21:13] Landy @CryptoLandy: So to add to that, Mar, there is there is solutions to this that are being proposed. There's only one BIP that I think is actually going to pass through, which would still leave Satoshi's wallet open because it would require the migration to the... What is it? The P2RSK... Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. It's P2QRH under BIP three sixty. No matter what quantum resistance is used, because it it would it would require a migration to that wallet. Now there is ways in which you could force the migration onto the public facing side of the wallet, but the and that could potentially theoretically solve the problem. Actually, I had a huge conversation about this the other day with guys who are into quantum mechanics and are researching this stuff in quantum computers, and then that went into another space discussing security with another blockchain. So there's, like, some really cool stuff surrounding this. There are people thinking about this and are trying to push for some consensus to be pushed through on Bitcoin in particular, specifically for something like this bet because there's a lot of actually three year bets. But I would also encourage everyone to exercise a little bit of skepticism with some of these companies that put out the, quote, unquote, quantum research breakthroughs that they... Google famously known for their for their kind of boisterous takes on where they are at. You know, even Microsoft has some pros and cons to where they're at theoretically and what they could possibly build and do with the chips. So there's a lot of, like, take it with a grain of salt, but it is around the corner stuff. And everyone in crypto is very, very aware of this. And everyone in any security field, especially the DOD and Department of Homeland Security is very aware of these situations, making propose... Proposals for updates to networks and encryption technologies. And we're gonna see this probably... It's not just Bitcoin that would be at risk. It is just about every blockchain, but there are some that are a little bit more quantum resistant than others. But then there's also a lot of unknowns. So one of the big things is is we will see a sea change in this regard. It's just a matter of is it gonna come from a NIST? Is it gonna come from something internally and then exposed externally from, like, the Department of Defense? What... Where are we gonna see it kinda come from? What's gonna be adopted? I think you're gonna see a lot of half measures taken, a lot of, like, stalling for time, and hoping that that that we can outrace what's coming, you know, the ultimate, you know, quantum computer future that is coming no matter what, in my opinion. But it's a really interesting topic, but it's huge for another six minutes here. [2:24:13] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: So you so you got all that. Right, Mark? That that... You took in all that knowledge. [2:24:17] Voice J: I understand that I need to move my Bitcoin to BitMart. [2:24:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. That's probably the worst place to move it, but no. Okay? [2:24:26] Voice J: No. I got it. [2:24:26] Voice B: I got it. [2:24:27] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: You didn't learn anything, Mark. That's horrible. BitMart. Oh my... [2:24:30] Voice J: I got it. I got it. [2:24:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Maybe they have maybe they have the new updated addresses already, so they're already quantum resistant. You never know. They're not, by the way. Exchanges are way, way, way behind on every single address type. So you're fucked one way or another if you try to move to an exchange. Have fun. Sorry. Was that a little too dark? That might have been a little too dark. [2:24:54] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Dark humor. [2:24:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hey, Sunny, can Tron solve this problem? And Justin's son. [2:25:04] Sunny D @dylN0chill: It's funny because you guys are talking about Argentina, and you're talking about, like, real world use case and all these things, and that's predominantly the realm of Tron. But I don't know if we got... We don't have time. Dave, you can [2:25:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. [2:25:21] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Because I can... I... Don't get me wrong. I'll I'll host two, three hour spaces all about Tron, but I think Dave's trying to get to his next thing. [2:25:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. He does. He's gotta go. [2:25:31] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I don't I don't think Jay can break it down in five minutes how Tron is gonna save us from quantum. [2:25:39] Voice B: I'm glad you asked. It's buying bananas. [2:25:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Banana economy is gonna be big. [2:25:47] Voice B: Hey. It's actually bananarchy. You're welcome. [2:25:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Freaking... Hey, Jay. I wanna say thank you for the conversation. It was a really good conversation even if we don't all agree on everything, which is the perfect way to to have these discussions. So really appreciate you coming up, having this conversation and and back and forth with us up here. And, wish you wish you well in the future. I'm gonna be keeping track of what you're doing. [2:26:14] Voice B: Yeah. Yeah. I'll... I I I actually... I have, to almost immediately turn around and wake up at 10AM, and I I... Know, this conversation was worth staying up for. You guys are awesome. I'm, I... I'm a very opinionated person, and I will acknowledge that every day of the week. But, you know, you you are a delightfully informed and wonderful talking companion. So anytime you wanna do this, I'm game to keep the conversation going at some point. [2:26:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Face is over. Awesome. Thanks, anarchy. That's it. We're caught done and done. When the dad jokes are coming out and they're not from Wendy, that's when I know it's a fucking rap. [2:26:58] Voice B: I'm I'm gonna... I'm... No. I'm gonna send you... So when I was much younger... Last thing. When I was much younger, I used to do, you know, something called improv everywhere. If you ever see the video of people freezing in Grand Central Station, that was us. One of the funny things we did, if you remember, like... I'm forgetting the name of the cartoon character. His name was Doug, but I... That might have been the name of the series. But look... Looking like Quail Man. [2:27:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: My god. It was Doug. [2:27:38] Voice B: And and I'm gonna send you... I gotta... Landy, I gotta send you a thing. We did a protest in favor of the bananarchy. And I forget what we were protesting against, but it was clearly pro banana. [2:27:57] Voice J: That's hilarious. I love it. [2:28:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, banana, baby. That's what I'm talking about. Shout out to the Tron ecosystem. My man, Justin's son, because he's straight up fucking cooking out here. And he's cashing checks while the rest of us are looking around like, where the checks at? Where the money at? What's going on? So, Jay, thank you for coming through, man. I definitely feel for you, bro. You gotta wake up in a couple hours, but thank you for the, the alpha from Dubai, the conversation. It was great. These are the kind of conversations I genuinely wanna have on ATC, like, every single fucking day. So you have an opening invite, Jay. Anytime you wanna come back, come [2:28:34] Voice J: back. For real. [2:28:36] Voice B: Yeah. Let's do it not during a major crypto conference. Yeah. I... I'm sending you I'm sending you the I'm sending you the BananaArchie over DM right now. You... Feel free to repost it. I guess blur my face. But... Yeah. I'm not kidding. It's in your DM right now. Take a look. [2:29:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Deal. I got... I do gotta jump because I got That's [2:29:05] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: not a banana. [2:29:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's up, gamer? [2:29:09] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, nothing. Go ahead. Close it out. [2:29:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, thank you so much, Brett. With gamer's fucking permission, we have Yeah. Permission now to close the space, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah. No. This was definitely a good one. Chris, I'm gonna be a couple minutes late. I gotta get myself a little pretty, and I gotta see if my MacBook is working with audio. So give me five minutes. Guys, peep the pin tweet at the top. Come trade with the DJs. We got a whole AI agent fucking live livestream happening with the emblem boys. So definitely come through. It's gonna be super fucking fun. Let's get into the trenches. Let's go buy and sell some shit and see if we could break some of these agents. And maybe Junie makes an appearance and actually starts to talk some shit. Let's go. Guys, thank you, Landy. Appreciate you, Sunny d. Thanks, Jay, Matasco. [2:29:49] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Good night, [2:29:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: you alpha gamer. As always, Marr and everybody that came through, man. Have a good night, everybody. Peace. [2:30:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mark, don't say anything. I'm just waiting for it to get down there. Shut up.
