So that was, there's some some reasons why if, if after, when we enter the Landy is going to bore you to death portion of the show, I can get into because some of the projections that they've come out with are fairly interesting considering what's going on in the geopolitical environment because it's not really related... You know, they they took a positive stance on on, the economic outlook for now, as things have been recovering for a long time. So, but markets, you know, markets just doing their thing. Obviously, everybody knows here. I look at Bitcoin as the barometer for the for the crypto sector, and Bitcoin closing above $10.04 is what you wanna continue to see. And I can always get into that a little bit later, but that's daily closes. It can swing under, but daily close above $10.04 is what the bulls want to see.

[0:13:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Alright. So, big shout out to a to a legend down there in Bits of Wealth as well. But market right now for crypto, obviously, everything's gonna go the way of Bitcoin, although Bitcoin dominance is rising again, with this most recent move down. If $10.04 is lost for Bitcoin, likely gonna see a a big flush out in alts, memes, and the rest, barring some actual, you know, outliers here and there. But the real level is to watch is closest above one zero one if we do see one zero four breakdown. And it can swing under there. But if it starts to close under there, it's very close to, hitting the actual swing lows at around a 100,000, 700 and a 100,300. So, essentially, what you wanna see is Bitcoin trading above 100 k and closing above right around $10.01, or this will likely correct further down. To the upside, you wanna see $10.06 regain in the shorter term and then go and take out the the $1.10 region again. That's pretty simple, pretty straightforward stuff. Traditional markets are actually doing pretty well. For now, they did turn red after close and post market, and I... They might have even closed red today. They closed slightly red. But I'm watching, I'm watching where things are going post FOMC meeting, and we're not really seeing any changes. It's not like there was any crazy decision that was unexpected. So a lot of this is gonna depend on positioning before the end of the month because it is the quarterly close. So you're likely gonna see a lot of, wacky price action coming in towards the end of the month as it will be the quarterly and six month close. When you get into what the FOMC, meeting minutes said, essentially, the economic outlook is fine, but they're still monitoring because inflation is over two And they are projecting, inflation to rise possibly to 3%, so they're watching carefully. Now this... I'm a little... This kind of speculation on their part, I'm not I'm not seeing it because they're watching PCE and CPI, and, obviously, we get month over month numbers that come in kinda showing us where the economy is. And for anyone that thinks that the Fed is gonna cut... Isn't gonna cut rates because the traditional markets are doing well or they will cut rates because it's not doing well, that is not the reason that they cut rates. Now that is one factor, but it is a very small factor. If the economy is looking healthy with the current rate structure, they're not gonna change it. They don't care what kind of debt the country has to roll over, who's gotta roll over. They don't care. It's all about the economic data, and they are also not, going to give into any kind of outside pressure, especially in this. Sometimes they'll be a little bit more accepting. Other times, they won't. They're looking for a buffer. So they want to see inflation come down a bit more before they start cutting again. I've speculated that, once the Genius Act passes, that they will likely be happy to cut. And the main reason why is because, the Genius Act requires these issuers to back in US treasuries. And when the Fed cuts rates, one of the main things that that a lot of people need to understand about that, when they cut rates, they are the buyer of last resort. So they will do what's called balance sheet expansion. So if there's no demand to bring the market rate for the US treasuries, that's your yield, meaning... Demand, meaning buying of treasuries, which brings yield down. If they don't see the demand come in, will bring yield down to the Fed funds rates, well, then they have to do it. And that usually starts with balance sheet expansion after ending quantitative tightening, which is selling of, treasuries. They will have to then go and essentially flush out through the banking system by expanding the balance sheet. That's called soft QE. That's how I term it. They don't term it that way. But it's like quantitative easing without saying that you're doing it and making it a policy. But that always leads to quantitative easing, where then it becomes a policy where they're buying tranches of US treasuries. So if the Genius Act passes and then they're okay with cutting, it's because there is another vector for hoovering up US treasuries. That's the long and the short of it. And, realistically, no one was really expecting cuts. There were some people that might have been hoping for them, but I think that was more hopium than not. And Is Trump

That's that's all bread and circus stuff. In reality, I'm sure that he does want him to cut before things get too, you know, too askew or too late to actually inject moving capital because you wanna move capital too. It allows for the movement of capital when you when you see a rate cut. Now we can get movement of capital rolling over. It doesn't imply printing, by the way. That's spending. That's where the printing comes from. And then printing to buy those treasuries, which is your your soft QE through balance sheet expansion and then policy as QE.
[0:19:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: So here's my here's my other question. My other question is, do you remember it was probably eight or nine months ago, the Biden administration time, when we lit... When they literally said, oh, oopsie. We kinda reported wrong. When you say economic data, it was like, we kinda overestimated by about 800,000. I think it was the nonfarm payrolls number. Yeah. I was like, is this a fucking joke? Like, how reliable is this, quote, economic data that is now coming out? Like, are we just, like like, we're good now? Like, being that... Like, we knew that Biden... That administration was skewing the numbers so heavy?
[0:20:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, yeah, they had a lot of economists were overestimating, and that's all in the preliminary estimation. So when you see, like, oh, we're projecting. When the final numbers come in, where they were where they were screwing with it was in the projections, and then the market just did not trust anything that was coming out and just kept going up, up, up, up, up right off the bear market lows. And that's also you... The other way of, like, fixing the data. The data is fine. It's about what are they measuring. Right? And how are they measuring it? And that's where you can get into some pretty deep arguments about what they're measuring, what they're not, what they're counting, what they're not. But the data itself is accurate. It's, the projections are typically wildly inaccurate and biased. And then you start getting into what is the administration doing to support different areas of the economy via policy. So when you see, like, all of that government jobs, all the government jobs that were created under Biden, that was, you know, essentially creating a a bunch of fluff jobs, and hiring people on to help support the narrative that that there was job growth. When in reality, every other sector was losing jobs over that period, government jobs are growing at an exponential rate, and the slowdown was in, you know, realistically in the private sector all across the board. Now it did start to recover, in late twenty twenty four. But even now, like, we're in a much better position than we were, last year, at this time. So, you know, the metrics and the data look really good, in terms of the actual data. But anytime you hear projected, like, oh, they're projecting that, non farm payroll is gonna come in as this, and then it's a complete miss. It's usually a bias projection, or a hopeful projection or a projection to kinda paint a narrative that usually coincides with whatever the media narrative is. Now they're not supposed to do that, but they do when they're projecting. Now I don't know about the Fed internally with this one. Usually, you know, their their nonfarm payroll stuff was not really that out of whack and hasn't been that out of whack for a really long time, but there has been some changes at the Fed level for Fed heads. So I don't know. It's kinda... You you you do have to take everything with a grain of salt, understand what the numbers are when they come out, are usually gonna match per industry month over month, and that you can track these, and there's independent groups that track these that are used, in aggregate with some of the official metrics that they measure. And there's always vested interest.

And in this case, it's actually hitting some pretty major overhead resistance, and The United States is picking up production in a very, very big way in the energy sector. So while it might have a short term run, oil rising, inflation going up from there, and then potentially there's... Everybody's like, oh. Well, after their talk today, ignoring all points about, like, no. The economy is looking like it's starting to stabilize and get back on track and stuff like that. Everyone's ignoring that and focusing on the 3% inflation, or or I should say, CPI read is kind of what their expectation is. And that particular inflation metric, they're attributing to the energy side, and we just aren't seeing the data to back that up. So, again, kind of back to what Dave was saying just a moment ago, When they make projections, they're simply projections. They are they are based on where the current demand is and trying to project future demand. You don't know until you get the orders in and production's pretty well up here in The United States. So...
