All Things Crypto: Tokenized Stocks EXPLAINED: The Wild Truth

AIAirdrops / TGEsBTCBilly BetsCommoditiesDeFiETFsETH

The episode opened with a deep dive into tokenized stocks and tokenized equities, sparked by recent moves from Robinhood and the OpenAI backlash. Speakers explored the critical differences between true RWAs, which represent direct on-chain ownership with redeemability, and the majority of current offerings which are derivatives structured through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) that merely track price exposure. The conversation highlighted how these products are being used to generate layered fees and leverage before sufficient on-chain liquidity exists, with concerns raised about misaligned incentives, especially when traded on crypto exchanges. Additional discussion covered Tron ecosystem developments including USD1 pairings, Trump token integration via LayerZero, and the energy/bandwidth model for passive income. The show closed with updates on Think Agents, Hermeticaโ€™s USDC-to-USDH bridge, Ribbit Capital activity, and Kinetic/Hyperliquid alpha. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

Welcome to ATC where this is the no music kickoff the week episode. I lied. It's enjoy this music from ATC. Nope.
[0:01:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nobody's gonna stop me. Nobody at all. This is this is what it means to have cohost, guys. They're supposed to save you from yourself as well sometimes, but sometimes, I guess they just wanna let it go and see the drain wreck. It is what it is. It is what it is. AMP, I'd see you. AMP was good. Trap, my g was cooking. Jay Norwood, what up? My cohosts are in the building. Cool crypto, Landy. And I think I'm gonna start doing this. Guys, happy Monday. Welcome to the show. And I think, let's see it from this point on. Who's gonna screw who's gonna screw up the day? Cool. What's up, my bro? How are doing? Hey. What's up? How you
[0:02:39] Kool @koolcryptovc: guys doing? Happy weekend, man. Happy weekend. Happy Monday. You guys doing okay? We're back from the show, man. Let's go. Let's do it. Landy, what's up, bro? What's going on?
[0:02:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Landy. Hello. Hi. It's me.
[0:02:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm here wearing sunglasses representing Langley, Virginia. So out of Langley, Virginia comes Landy. What's up, everybody? I'm here to break down Bitcoin charts and smash narratives that are out there in the mainstream media. That's me, little Landy.
[0:03:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: This isn't just another three letter acronym. It's a movement. Oh god. I can hear the AI slop as they came out of this. What are those glasses? Who... And what else are you gonna put on? You have a... You're a puppet?
[0:03:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: Standard issue, sir. Standard issue, sir. As soon as you, as soon as you're a red in, you get issued these nice gold frame glasses. You're to wear them at all times, and you are to represent the agency properly.
[0:03:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: I could've sworn for a second you're about to tell us the CIA got mugged up. I was like, oh my god. CIA is standard issuing mug sunglasses. That would've been crazy, but They should. They really should.
[0:03:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: They need a better dental plan, though. I I agree with this. They need a better dental plan.
[0:03:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, and stop asking me who is Landy. I don't know. Nobody knows. That's the point. But go buy the album, Langley Files. Now now in store is near you. I love it. I love it. I love it. Oh, there's Empress wearing the proper NFT PFP attire. Empress, welcome. How are you?
[0:04:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Empress, can you hear me?
[0:04:27] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: It wouldn't let me on mute. I'm good.
[0:04:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Good talk. Good talk. What's news today, kids? Well, welcome, everybody. Hope everybody's doing good. It's a good way to, kick off the week. Italian, I see you down there. What's good? Weston, I see you. What's up, my bro? Welcome, everybody, the e t c. You like what I wrote in the in the thing? That's like when you know I'm I'm really behind on a lot of work. Right. Right. What the fuck you think we're talking about? None of the lead in stories. So, this is how we deal with it. Norby was good. I put this in the title, guys, but, honestly, as I was going through the stories, because, obviously, I had to put something in the title, we could talk about Bonk eating pumped off on lunch. But I've been really doing a deeper dive into this whole tokenized equity thing, like tokenized stocks. And I gotta be honest, I'm more confused now than when I started actually looking into this stuff because you guys saw the whole, like, OpenAI, Robinhood, like, debacle. Right? You saw the post I put out about link to. I think this is gonna be an arena, where it's like like, what do people own? Why are we tokenizing these things? And I think, guys, before we even jump into the topic on top... Like, before we... Like, the stories on top or any of the other, like, whatever, like, headline stories, I feel like this isn't something that we really need to talk about because the more I looked into, like, tokenized equities, what do they represent? Am I still a common shareholder? Like, why is Robinhood offering this? What the fuck is Robinhood actually offering to their clients? What's the point of it? Like, my brain went down this rabbit hole of, like... You know, I I I I think I probably have now, like, two days of just one... You know, when you have those lengthy conversations with GPT? So, like, Lexi's literally just answering this and that, and the... And I'm just like, I... I'm still confused as to what's going on. And I'm like, if I'm confused, I'd probably... It's probably safe to assume that a lot of other people are genuinely confused with what the fuck is actually a tokenized equity. So that's kinda where I wanted to start today. We can put the bunk, whatever, pump fund news on hold for a few, and then we'll talk market news. We'll give you guys general market updates and everything else. But, like, I wanna get into this, guys. Like, are you are you down to have this conversation? Because I think it's super important. What do you think? You guys down? Nice. Yeah. I mean, look. Overall, that was kind of my opening intro, but this is what I discovered so far. Okay? I don't know what the actual product is that's being offered to investors. I don't know which investors it actually is being marketed to. The marketing itself is, hey. If you couldn't own one full share of this... Of Amazon at this price, you can now buy this at this price. I literally... Guys, maybe it's just me. I had no clue that they were talking about the... I thought it was just one for one, like... What's it called? Like, you're just tokenizing the equity and then putting it on chain and trading that share. They're fractionalizing these shares in certain cases. And I'm like, wait a minute. What? So they're taking these equities, and this is where, like... Maybe I should have looked into this sooner. But I'm looking at this, and I'm going, I don't get a good vibe. I don't know why. I do know why. I don't get a good vibe from this because now it's like you open the door to a more complexity when what you're really trying to do at the core is make this more simple and more, I guess, addressable as well as investable for the average everyday Joe. And I don't know. Empress, tell me, like, give me... Like, your thumb's in downing. Talk talk to me. Like, tell me what your interpretation of all this is, then I'll go to Cool and Landy.
[0:08:26] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Well, I just... I'm something downing because I I I feel like... Isn't that what I've been screaming? Like, literally not what this is for. The the entire idea and the way that this this landscape is shifting and this... Everything is is not to make it accessible to the average show or or anything. Like, it is the intersectionality of TradFi and crypto that is going to become TradFi completely absorbing crypto. All of these things are going and and very quickly becoming way out of the wheelhouse of the average, quote, unquote, degen. Like, a lot... People don't throw that word around a lot anymore, but, like, most of us in these streets are degens, degenerates, that that are learning at a base level, how to trip and flip, and we started with JPEGs, and we navigate to the best of our ability. But, like, this is an actual finance landscape. So I guess that, like, state... I was thumbs down because that statement of it's becoming... Like, it's supposed to be blah blah blah. No. This is the idea. The halves, the trad, buy the suits, that there's stupid percentages and fractals and economics and big words and market shares and boardrooms, and then we... We're we're just not gonna DJ anymore. You know?
[0:09:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is DJEN synonymous with the average investor? I mean, I feel like those are two very distinct and different categories, at least in my mind. No?
[0:09:56] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: No. I think that I think DGen is a... Is below the average trad by investor and above the average American market participant.
[0:10:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's interesting. We can have that conversation for sure. But, no, I think I agree with you overall. Like, good points. Cool. What do you make of this whole tokenized equity situation?
[0:10:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: I mean, it's it's too early, man. I mean, it's hard to say. It's still very, early. I think until it becomes very easy to use for retail... Yeah. We're not anywhere near that yet, man. But, no, I think the idea is good. I think I always try to put myself in a position of people that that are less fortunate, people that don't have access to stuff like this. And it could be a good thing because you... Like I said, it's a very difficult people in in different countries to be able to buy Tesla stock or or Robinhood stock. Right? But them having the opportunity to do it from their phones, crypto allows that to happen. So... But like I say, it's still so early. This thing is is is still too early. It is hard to say if they're gonna succeed or not succeed. I do know uncle uncle Fink, our our uncle. Larry Fink is... He's all in all in on on this. He's probably pushing... Of course, they've done the ETF stuff. They've done the Bitcoin ETF. Yeah. They're cool. But he is all in on this stuff, man. So... But like I said, this is still early early phases, so it's it's hard to say where it's gonna go to. But if they want it, it's probably gonna happen. But I think until we have the rails built for the average individual to build... To benefit from this, I just don't know how successful it will be right now. But I do like... I like... Today now, I was I was playing with this protocol called v... VIO, v o I, and I saw I could I could buy Tesla stock on it. I could buy multiple different stocks only just from my computer. You know, we know downloading nothing. Right? And blockchain allows that to happen. And not not just this app. There's many, many, many more where they're starting to list, you know, stocks on on the blockchain, man. So... But but like I said, it's too so early. Give it time, I think, and we'll kinda see what happens with it over time.
[0:12:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, we're we're screaming in in this space specifically, RWAs, RWAs, RWAs, and the tokenization of everything. I want us to really dig down and really start, like, digging into what this actually means. Like, what are... What does this mean for each side that's involved? Because, there's so... Bro, so many questions come to my mind. Right? We can then go down the rabbit hole of, like, market makers. Are they aligned? Crypto versus equity. But before we even get down too crazy, but, Empress, go for it. And then I wanna hear Landy and Sunny D's take.
[0:12:54] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: So I just wanna say real quick kind of to Cole's point and double down on mine. I think it kinda makes us the retail as in the retail level investors, shoppers, and ex... You know, we're just... I don't think... I think it's not coming the way that everybody thought that it was going to come, and that's... I just... I don't know. The the retail's coming or whatever. That looks very different in my mind than what people think it is.
[0:13:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, that... I feel like that's always the case. Right? It's not like it's meant to be bait and switch. It's just I feel like we don't... We're not curious enough. Like, I want us to really dig deeper into it. Landy, I'm really curious to hear what the hell you have to say.
[0:13:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, it's about time we got to my actual wheelhouse. We cheers. My wheelhouse. This is 100% in my lane. Look. What you're looking at when... In Robinhood in in in particular, the stock tokens that they are able to sell in the EU, that's an an SPV. It's otherwise known as a special purpose vehicle where you are not directly owning the actual stock. The the token that you're representing is tracking the price of the stock. Thus, it is a derivative, and most of this stuff is just derivatives. This is a cool way of levering up for these companies. This allows for a whole side market and derivatives for these companies. Now there's three main mechanisms that are gonna be used to back, and I don't consider derivatives RWAs. They are tokenizations of stocks. And this is where we need to kinda separate out what is an RWA versus what is a
[0:14:42] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: tokenization stock. Hate it here.
[0:14:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. Do you wanna learn?
[0:14:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Much. Let's go, baby. I love this.
[0:14:49] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Because this is this is real. It's driving my point home is all I'm saying. It is your wheelhouse.
[0:14:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: I know. But but my point about this is is, like, you... The language is key. Right? You wanna learn about this. This is this is key to understand....
[0:15:03] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Doubling down the point. It's your wheelhouse. It is the language. It's out there.
[0:15:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: It is. Yes. And the language that is being used with a lot of it is what? Token stocks, stock tokenization, tokenize everything. Yeah. And you notice you're barely hearing RWA. And that's because in order to boot up the liquidity on this side in in the crypto sector for RWAs that they would need in order to tokenize that stock, they they can't sell one side to fund the other. They have to they have to move in derivatives, fund up, and then move RWA. RWAs are going to, in general, not all of them, some are gonna mix their marketing up and bait and switch and all this other shit. But if it's an RWA, it should be direct ownership. Alright? And you can get RWAs with fractional ownership. But what we are seeing right now is derivative mirrored structure ownership over a derivative product that is a special vehicle product, and this is almost across the board. You know who actually does have an RWA out there, funny enough, That is one of the one of the... It's actually a real RWA. It's actually the the buildal. It's BlackRock's, treasuries, because it it is actually tokenization of treasuries. It's fully backed. You're you're getting exposure to it. Everything else, you're not. You're getting exposure to the price movements and the volatility, and that's it. And then it's... And then they're they're offering it in ways that you can lever up and and borrow against and, like, all this other stuff. And until they actually get the funding on chain, this is where a lot of the stablecoin stuff is gonna come in. Till they actually get that funding on chain, you're gonna see a bunch of derivatives, and you're gonna see mixed messaging everywhere. So when you're looking at this stuff, you need to break down the TOCs, and you need to break down the actual marketing and all the little... All those little, asterisks that they put in there along the way, all the legalese bullshit, go and look through it because this is exactly where we're gonna be headed first is in the derivative direction before we even get to
[0:17:15] Voice J: the
[0:17:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: RWA direction. This is interesting because this is where the SEC has actually said that we need some regulatory mechanisms because we know that the traditional markets... If you think that we're in a degen space now, you have not experienced traditional markets. It is the most degenerate place on the planet. They... There is ways of launching companies. That's why there's so many penny stocks where they just pump and dump, pump and dump. This is nothing new in the crypto space. We've been doing it for years over in TradFi. That's why the models were set up in the way that they were. Even with tokenization, you think about private companies and IPOs, how you do stocks and how much and so on and so forth. It's just that there's been no regulation really outside of, like, really punitive regulatory frameworks towards crypto. When it's coming to this kind of stuff, weave in your understanding of what it is that they're doing and understand that they don't have the liquidity on chain, and they cannot move that liquidity over without selling. So unless they're gonna set it up as a tokenization or tokenized RWA first, they must fund it. So you're always gonna get these these vehicles on the side is what are gonna pop up. All of these these, these different products, whether it's wrapped or basket, doesn't really matter, or individually wrapped or overseen or custodied in one place just for the price exposure, you're getting you're getting a very small amount of stock that's being aggregated into one place, and then you're getting issuance out the ass on the other side. So it's essentially the biggest leverage play you've ever seen in history. So this will bring down the markets, by the way. This and and treasury companies and everything else. This is this is what is going to do it. So that's... Yeah. So look. Embrace embrace the volatility.
[0:19:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like how you nonchalantly said, by the way, we're touting all of this, but this will also be the demise of this entire market. Yes. Lovely. More leverage, exactly what we need. So... Alright. Before I even throw my 2ยข... Thank you for the breakdown, Landy. Before I even throw kind of my 2ยข because I really do wanna try and dumb this down as much as possible because this shit is super complex in terms of what the offerings are. Because if you remember, OpenAI, right, with the beef that they had with Robinhood was like, I don't know what Robinhood's selling, but that's not our equity. Now OpenAI is not a public company as of yet. Right? So that's a very different, I guess, offering, if you will, or product. But, like, is there similarities in how that would work? Right? Because getting access to OpenAI, right, like, the actual equity offering, that's amazing. Before the IPO, that's cool. Right? Accredited investors are pretty much the only ones that were able to do that or participate in IPOs. But now we're adding a tokenization component to it. This stuff can get really messy, really hairy, really quickly. Yeah. Landy, chime in there, and then I'm gonna say what's up to Sunny D. Coleman, Brett.
[0:20:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. So if I'm a a a large shareholder of... In a private company, I have stock. If I wanna go and I want to... And I have access to traditional market players, market makers, liquidity, and regulators, I can then go and and create a vehicle that is a vector for private companies. And that is what you're seeing in some of this, and that's why OpenAI was irritated about this because they've had some of their own people go over and basically offer the... It's essentially a shit coin in the same name. And when the real thing actually IPOs, you might go... It might go up or it might go down because as a private company and you're using my stock as the vector for it, I can just rug the whole damn thing and pull it from the actual backing side of that vehicle that it's that it's being wrapped in. So just be very, very aware of this. Be very, very careful. It is something that we're gonna be talking a lot more, especially after the genius act because that's what they're waiting for, by the way.
[0:21:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We'll correlate it. We'll we'll we'll tie those pieces together, and I want us to define what the fuck we mean by be careful. Right? That's almost like a do your own research or do your homework. It's like, what the fuck does that mean? How am I supposed to be careful in all of this?
[0:21:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: Just go to the actual stock.
[0:21:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: A k a, don't touch this shit just yet. Like, cool said, it's in its infancy. Sunny d, what's good, bro? You wanna weigh in here?
[0:21:52] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yo. Yeah. I mean, this stuff is, I mean, I guess some people would say what I do is complicated, but I just do passive income. This is all new, and it looks it looks like the suits are infiltrating. And, you know, it's... It it seems like a really great idea, but it's, like, along with all these new features and access to these different assets and stuff brings with it all the shit that is why we're in the current financial state in the world where we owe a ungodly amount of money to who knows who. And I'm just gonna keep on stacking my passive income ecosystem ecosystem tokens. And, I think meme coins might make a resurgence because everybody's just gonna be like, fuck all that other shit.... Memes.
[0:22:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: You had... And Bruce gave me the thumbs up, and I was like, give you the throw. Anyways, no. Good point, Sunnyd, and we'll talk about Trump token and Layer Zero going to Tron. I'm so salty about that, NED. I am so fucking salty. For those that remember, I got two words for you, THON swap ten months ago, bitches. Alright? Fully anonymous. I don't wanna
[0:23:07] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: hear you.... Remember you'd be happy about it. We don't know what you're talking about. Yeah.
[0:23:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, most... So most do. You're you're the newbie here. Coma, what's up?
[0:23:19] Kkoma @itskkoma: Not much. Just hearing Landy talk about RWAs and learning a lot, I guess. I... You know, I'm I'm interested in this, like, idea that it's like, oh, you know, this stock is now tokenized. And because of that, it's not an RWA. In some way... Somehow you need to put it on chain. But then I I get kinda confusing with, like, stablecoins. Right? Because technically, we put something on chain, and we tokenize the USDC and we... But we say it's backed by something. So I I don't know. At what point do you draw the line where it's like, would you say USDC is not really technically an RWA? I guess it's not. But I don't know. I get... I'm I'm I'm more... I have more questions than answers about this. But do... Are we just creating solutions to problems that don't exist in some ways? But... Yeah.
[0:24:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: 100%. Would you like more solutions to existing I guess
[0:24:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: We got represent, like, state... Stability then. You know? Like, do we need to represent stability? Should everything just be tradable via your favorite your favorite collateral, Bitcoin. Everything should just be backed by
[0:24:31] Voice J: Bitcoin. Like, what what is what
[0:24:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: is the solution here, Landy? Like, are stablecoins just the Come like, So stablecoins are crypto.
[0:24:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: They... They're not gonna be classified as RWAs. Although, some might push for classification as an RWA, much like, you know, the... If Build a one... Build a by BlackRock wanted to issue a stablecoin off the back of what they have. They could technically issue a stablecoin. Right? They literally could just take every time you buy and you wanna... You want to... You send back to them. You could get... They could issue stablecoins. They could call that an RWA because it's back from an RWA stock. But the problem is that you have a vector for the US dollars that's that's a treasury, and then you have a moving vector. So it has to be stable. So it has to be classified as something different. Ostensibly, stables are backed by US treasuries, you know, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and whatever else, you know, these companies have already been backing them with. We don't know. We know that the Genius Act is going to mandate that with some oversight that they actually are backing them one to one with, at minimum, US treasuries. Right? Now there is... There... There's many different directions you could go, but they're gonna be legislated under the stablecoin framework instead of an RWA framework, which is gonna be heavily scrutinized by the SEC, and there's no framework there yet. They have basically open pilots right now. So all of these different players are going and taking advantage of the fact that it's an open pilot. That's why you're gonna get a bunch of derivatives first. Because if they were to close pilot it and say that it needs to be backed one to one, are you gonna move all your stock over to tokenize it? Because, essentially, you're you're the one offering the liquidity at the end of the day. Or would you rather wait for stablecoin liquidity to come on, have the banks offer the other side of that? You play the derivative game, and then you start backing it later so that it's not your liquidity.
[0:26:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know how much in fees these guys are gonna rack up if I can take $10.10 shares of common stock and fractionalize it into millions and literally see the pool, like... And people have no... Like, I guarantee you, degens would have no idea that they were trading 10 common shares of stock in total liquidity amongst 50,000,000,000 tokens, they'd have no... They would not be none the wiser. And I think that's the name of this game. When you hear Landy say derivatives, it's another way to earn fees on fees on fees and more fees. Literally, it's creating a product out of something because... Call me naive, but maybe I gave everybody too much of the benefit of the doubt in terms of this industry where I was like, you know why they're tokenizing this? It's because it should be trading twenty four seven. You should be able to trade the stock market. Right? Because, like, that was an impossibility. For most people today, they still don't know where to go for after hours trading. I still get people calling me and my family being like, where do I see those level three quotes? Like, that's where we are. Level three quotes meaning real time data, like, of market makers actually shifting their quotes. This is the difference here. I thought, wait a minute. These guys really are gonna do something great. Like, twenty four seven access, three sixty five, never after blah blah blah. And it's like, wait a minute. What? That's not what the... Like, when... As I started digging more into this, I'm like, that is... This is not what I thought it was. So maybe this is my wake up call as well. But, Brett, what's good, my bro? Wanna chime in on this tokenized stock combo?
[0:28:09] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. GM, dude. It's... I've... It was generally a matter of time, bro. I mean, like, shit. I heard... Like, I I feel like we heard about this shit back with, like, Cosmos Adams, like, years ago about how, like, they were rumored... Or no. Stellar Lumens, I think, were the ones that were rumored to be, like, these will work as direct replacement for trading stocks on chain and blah blah blah. And like that never came about or came to fruition, you know. And then with the... They were on... I mean, I was bullish then after they came out the list that... Of the cryptos that were 20 or 222 compliant. You know, the ones that can be used for interbank transfers and all sorts of, you know, that type of stuff. And Bloomin's was on it. And I was like, oh, finally, we're gonna get there and now they're gonna be used for stocks. And it's like, what? We're gonna use we're gonna use Ton? Is that is that what's gonna happen? Like, what are we what what are we doing now? You know, I mean, are they gonna just spin up their own chain? Right? Which it seems like every major corporation is doing right now and every financial institution is kinda like, oh, yeah. Blockchain's super powerful. We just caught on and so we'll just spin up our own chain. You know? It's gonna be interesting to see. I think that it's going to create an unreal amount of volatility in the market and a bunch of old fogies are gonna get wiped the fuck out on their 4 zero one k's and everything else because it's gonna turn into meme coin season with publicly traded companies. You know what I mean? And it's kinda like, hey, are you degen enough to be trading at 02:00 in the morning because like, you know, that's what's gonna start happening with traditional stocks. And so I think we're gonna see an insane amount of volatility and there's gonna have to ultimately be something brought forward, proposed, written, whatever whatever to be like, oh, okay. Cool. So we tried that. Bad idea, guys. Maybe we should, like, limit it in some way, shape, or form. And, you know, what that's gonna look like, I mean, we won't know until we break everything first.
[0:29:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Great points, bro. Yeah. Lindy, chime in.
[0:29:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: So the... Great conversation. I'm glad you brought this up because, you know, a lot of people don't know where to go to look for this stuff and and see, like, what the quotes are, what's out there, premarket, postmarket. You know, like, they... Most most regular everyday people are gonna have access to, like, TotalView, right, or or the CBOE depth feed or or any of these other platforms that are gonna be available to professionals. So what do you... What... I I don't foresee people who have four zero one k's and stuff like this getting wrecked by any of this. In fact, what you're gonna see is that that you're gonna get products that are gonna wrap, the fees that are that are generated themselves. Right? They will literally be yield bearing, fee earning products. Right? And they're gonna become their own category. This is already being worked on, and it's being worked on in conjunction with bigger bigger firms like, you know, Fidelity and all of the rest. You just pick one, and they're working on this. And the... Understand that what... What's what's gonna happen is is you you said this perfect thing. Like, I have the x number of shares and... I mean, I could just call it 100 shares exposure. Right? Like, it's an option and have you traded on freaking Solana and shit like that because that's what some of them are gonna end up doing. And what you're... You're not really leveraging anything because there's no settlement on the other end. They'll just try to follow the options market with it, and it's gonna get screwed up. It's all gonna fall apart. And this is all an effort to gather as much fee liquidity as they possibly can while letting the banks come in and start to fund all of the liquidity pool to get their preferred stable. So you'll start to see partnerships. Hey. We're launching our tokenized stock over here in partnership with Fidelity's stable coin. They're funding up, and we're we're contributing this. And this is the special vehicle product that this token's gonna represent. But it's not gonna be pitched that way. It's gonna be pitched as, hey. Come and trade your Apple stock over here. 100 x leverage. Basically, it's it's, it's already built in. You don't need a 100 x leverage on the exchange. It's already a 100 x leverage because we're gonna follow the, we're gonna follow the actual bid ask. So they're gonna start to start to market in that way. This is gonna cause a massive bubble on one side, and it's all in an effort to to free up that liquidity so that they can actually bring it all on chain. And this is gonna start to bleed into other things that we're gonna hear about Texas and exchanges and so on and so forth a little bit later down the line. But right now, there's a lot of it's just a lot of bullshit is what it is. It's... And you have to be very, very discerning because if you're looking at a ticker and you're just looking at it through your brokerage account, it's very difficult to tell unless you go and do the research behind it. It's essentially... It's it's shitcoin season all over again. I mean, most stocks are just shitcoins anyway, but it's shitcoin season with another vector for liquidity for both extracting and onboarding liquidity. But whenever a stablecoin issuer is bringing liquidity on, they want something on the other side. Right? So they also... It becomes an extraction game in and of itself because you have to move money from somewhere to yourselves if you're the bigger player. And when I say be careful, what I mean is do your research and know if that is actually an RWA or derivative products that is representing something else on the other side. And the beautiful thing is, Dave, is this space, every Monday through Thursday, what are we talking about? A mix of all of these different things surrounding the market, but also AI. And AI is gonna be the most powerful tool for the layman and even professionals to go and do their research because you can't know everything, And it takes a lot of research, and they will do everything they can to obfuscate what it is that you're actually trading.
[0:34:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Great points. Yeah. Dude, the the amount of questions that I have right now, I have mountains of questions in terms... And and, I mean, the questions that reach out to all of the different arms of crypto because as I as I... As my brain starts to extrapolate this out, I'm just thinking of different scenarios of, like, well, how is this gonna work here? Right? How is it gonna work here? Liquidity pools. I guess I was thinking too simple. I was thinking, like, oh, like, company a owns or custodies, you know, a million shares of Tesla. They want to essentially have those trade on the blockchain. They tokenize them. They mint them on chain. You can trade one for one Tesla on Ethereum.
[0:34:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's an RWA. $24.07.
[0:34:53] Voice K: Yeah.
[0:34:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. $250.65. Here's the attestation that we hold them in custody. Amazing. Everything is great. Now you have all of this. That was my simpleton brain thinking about it. As we... As I started looking into this, I'm saying to myself, this is the ugly truth of Wall... This is the ugly face of Wall Street. And I don't like it. I'm sorry. I don't like it. I don't like it one bit because, again, this... I feel like we're literally just starting from the beginning, and it's like Wall Street has this bad habit of doing this. And all we're doing now... And I, in a way, feel responsible now because it's like, oh my god. I was out there peddling this heroin. Like, seriously, I'm thinking about this, and it's like, we're out here, like, touting tokenization and RW waves is, like, literally the next thing... The best thing since sliced bread. When in reality, it's like, is this another fucking, like... I'm gonna use a GPT word here. A Trojan horse. Right? Like, you see these headlines, Trojan horse. Like, for real. Like, this is... To me, this is crazy stuff. This is crazy stuff, and it's like, how this works is wild. Like, r d... What Landy was saying, so everybody gets also. When we talk about, like, what some of the benefits were, right, for the average investor. Right, when we say average investor, it's like mom and pop. Right? Me, you, this one, that one. Not the accredited. Right? Not the top one or 2%. Like, to me, when I'm looking at something like this, I'm saying, oh, now I have the opportunity to own real estate. Right? Fractionalization of real estate, tokenizing that asset makes perfect sense to me. Right? Helps people raise more liquidity, maybe people that couldn't come up with money. You now have a bigger pool of people to invest, and the people that are investing maybe never had the opportunity to begin with. So it's a win win. But... And that to me makes perfect sense. But this this doesn't make sense at all. Like, This is money grab. Yeah. Brett, go for it, bro. Please. Well, yeah. And I mean, if anybody's aware, like, Hester Pierce, right, she's
[0:36:52] Bread @_ToastMalone: been a per... Like, like, huge advocate for making it easier for companies in in The US and younger companies to go public and to actually have an IPO. Because right now, the red tape and the BS that you have to go through in order to actually go public is insane. And the amount of capital it takes up front is just not realistic for new and upcoming companies. And what it's doing is it's stifling innovation. It's stifling tech innovation and, you know, actually getting these companies being publicly funded. And so I think this is gonna be huge for newer, you know, younger companies to get, you know, to the point where, like, they can actually have an IPO. You know, we're kind of merging the lines between, like, 20 '17 ICO and what it means to actually have an IPO as a publicly traded company.
[0:37:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right. That's an amazing point. I didn't even think about that. Right? If you're a company... Right. Not that OpenAI needs this, but let's say you're a pre IPO company or you're thinking about it. Right? And we need to we need to raise a little bit more money. We just need a little bit more runway. We think we can do this. We have something, but you don't wanna go the fucking, like, cutthroat VC route. Maybe you just token... Maybe you let your employees tokenize some of their fucking equity that they've vested in the last three years of working at this establishment, and they're the ones that get the opportunity to see the liquidity pool. That would be something really fucking cool. That's a silver lining. That's a great idea, Brent. I love that. Like, the... Oh, man. Okay. Now see what I'm saying, Sunny d? This is where... This is why I love these conversations because this is the this is the type of shit that, like, really gets my brain going because, like, there's people listening to this space, I promise you right now, that are gonna run with that idea that we just threw out there. I I assure you 1000%, somebody is going to run with that idea.
[0:38:45] Bread @_ToastMalone: Bcbread.e for the... For any, you know, additional fees, maybe thank you cards and notes with a 20 in there would be great. Well.
[0:38:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Brad. Brad, real real quick, Linda. I just wanna make this one point. Brad, this reminds me of... Do you remember when, they started fractionalizing ENS names, which, by the way, was 100% my fucking idea? I literally was yelling that for four months, and listening to them on KuCoin. I was like, is a bloodbath. What are people doing? This is crazy talk. Oh my god. This is insanity. There was nothing. They were like, dude, we're gonna do this with the e n s and that with the e n s, and now let me fractionalize it times a billion. Subdomains, bro.
[0:39:22] Bread @_ToastMalone: Subdomains are supposed to be the future. Yeah.
[0:39:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Man. I just wanna point out to Brad's point, like, it costs about... These days, probably on the on the lowest of the low ends, you're probably looking at 5,000,000 to IPO, which is not out of reach as some of these larger crypto players. Right? But, you know, that can go as high as, like, even for the smaller ones, 15 to 20 mil. Like, more realistically, you're probably looking at, like, 10 mil to IPO a smaller company. And you gotta have you gotta have product. Right? You you gotta be... You you can't just be swinging on hopes and dreams and shit. But the new meta to do that is going to be, look. We bought all this Bitcoin and Ethereum and Solana and SWE and and XRP. Aren't we great? We're a treasury company. Let's IPO. So that's gonna be the shitcoin vector for it. And then they can turn around, and they can they can tokenize their stocks and just do it directly, and they can IPO it that way too. So one of the biggest things though, Dave, is, like, I I don't think that that that you're you're part of the heroin dealing crowd. Right? This this is where I... You're having the right conversations and the right perspectives because what you just stated is the truth. To RWA, the proper way would be you you take a million shares of something, and you tokenize those million shares one to one. And they can... And because of the way that blockchains operate, when it's tokenized, you can get a fraction of a token. So it's already fractionalized. But what they're doing is they're fractionalizing it before it even gets there in most cases, or it's just a direct derivative because it's just a little tiny piece over here in this in this special vehicle, and then we're gonna tokenize it and pitch it to you as you have direct... It's not like you're gonna go and redeem those for actual shares. Whereas with an RWA, you should be able to redeem those for actual shares. Right? And that's gonna... That's where we get a little dicey because a lot of that's unclear because there is no real framework for this through the SEC. And this is overseen by the SEC. Some of it will be, CFTC, and they have a little bit of a framework where they they do say, like, you have to be able to redeem. But they're... They they also make exceptions for... That's from the RWA side, but they make exceptions for things on, with the SEC for things like the the spot ETFs where it's cash in cash out. And the in kind, even if they moved in kind, it's not gonna be for you. It's for it's for the back end APs. So, like, this this is... It's a new world. We're going there no matter what. So there is... There's as many... What you're seeing is the viper's nest come back out. You know the viper's nest, Dave. Like, you've experienced it. You've seen it.
[0:42:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hate it.
[0:42:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: You've seen it. You lived it. Right? I lived it. And the viper's nest is real, and they're not just... They're gonna take advantage of this. Mean, this is the very first thing they're gonna do is take complete advantage of it, and it actually is gonna be very, very screwy for even people in crypto who understand crypto because people who understand crypto often do not understand very much about traditional markets and how they operate and what kind of games can be played over there because you don't have the blockchain to rely on. They they get to tokenize things now and pitch it to you and say, look on chain. It's all fine. Meanwhile, they're doing hinky business deals on the back end with all these different wrappers that they got going on and all the reselling, rehypothecation of their own shares and borrowing against and, like, all this garbage. So until you... That's that's where I think that if you just say, like, hey. Is this an RWA? Let me go and look and and very specifically pick your product, you'll do okay. But even then, you're gonna see professionals fuck it up because you... There's gonna be a lot of lies and cheats out there. And trust me, they're ready. They're ready.
[0:43:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: So here... So here's what I'm gonna do. Like, as as we're talking throughout this whole thing, obviously, there's questions upon questions, but I think it's very important for people to understand tokenization is going to be a buzzword and a very fucking big one in... Like, it is now, and it's gonna continue to be as long as you have, right, like, the uncle thinks, like, coolest calling them, talking about the shit on CNBC every fucking day. The key here to remember is... Because this is where I have a very big problem. Anything that you're gonna see tokenized trading on a crypto exchange, like a KuCoin or a MEXI or this or that, I'm telling you right now, please please please do not jump feet first into any of this bullshit. Don't. Because it is those exchanges that the values and the incentives are completely misaligned. We can't even get market makers on crypto exchanges to align their incentives with the tokens that they're making a market in. They work against them. So this is literally compounding that times a thousand with the same problems as before. So I want everybody to be clear. If there's one thing you take away from any of this shit, if it all sounded like fucking Japanese to you, just take this away. Okay? Listen. Tokenized anything, trading on a crypto exchange, pause. Wait. Nah. None of it. Okay? Until you genuinely understand or come in here and get this crew up here to fully understand it and work through all of the t's and c's so that you can feel confident you're making the right call, but don't touch that shit. It's a it's a... It... Like, don't. Nothing is aligned on crypto exchanges. I'm telling you guys right now, so please don't. And, Lindy, this is not even to mention, like, the custody... Like, who's... Like, where... In addition to where is this gonna trade, who's gonna custody it, how is it gonna operate, you're gonna get small players. You guys remember when crypto first started, we had a bazillion and one exchanges. We still do, but we have a lot less today because of consolidation, a little bit more regulatory clarity. The the industry evolves. This is literally now giving birth, in my opinion, to something new that's gonna put us right back at that place, which means wild wild west, which means opportunity, massive, but you genuinely have to understand what the fuck it is that's going on out here really, really well in order to be able to take advantage of that opportunity. Because if you don't, like empress says, you will get rinsed by friends. Yes. Empress, go for it.
[0:46:22] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Empress also says know your limitations and know the playground and know the landscape. And whatever the fuck all of you were talking about as somebody who's actively trying to assimilate massive goddamn schemas and protocols and staking and all the other shit, this shit is is complicated. And and, like like, I just wanna tell everybody down there when I'm like, hey. Trenches are expert in intermediate, and then I rinse you people and dump on your head because you just go and get in there anyways or whatever. And if you listen to these guys, I would never get into this shit. I don't know what they're talking about. I hear blah blah blah, percentage tokens, real world, blah blah blah. No. Uh-uh. Just remember that it's also, like, a great time to pay attention to learn more shit, but don't go outside of your your actual area that you can comprehend because it's just too much.
[0:47:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mission fucking accomplished. Yes. If you didn't understand shit of what we talked about, stay the fuck away. Perfect. Exactly. That's what we want. Help us help you keep you safe. Because then you end up like Mar buying a trucking company, thinking you're buying some sort of an RWA token on display. I have no fucking...
[0:47:38] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Let me tell you guys what happens, especially if you're a man. You go to these protocols, these real world assets, these tradify things or whatever else, and they're usually, like, Ponzi fied schemes. There's, an entry level. Like, you stake your shit, and you leave it there, and you're in passive income. And then there's, like, whistles and bells. It's like liquidity pools and 9,000 APY, and you're gonna die rich by the end of next year and blah blah blah blah blah blah. Just so everybody knows who doesn't know fuck all about finance, this bitch right here, I go to any one of these things, and I hit that entry level, that really low risk that has all these words that I still don't fucking understand, so I'm still being a little bit reckless. But at least I'm not going, oh, look. They promised me a goddamn Lamborghini over there. They're also gonna take my house at the end of it. So, like, just just just stay in your area of expertise. Crazy.
[0:48:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Lamborghini. Lamborghini. Lamborghini. Where is that, dude? What's the ocean? Lamborghini. Lamborghini.... License.
[0:48:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: You're talking about snorkels.
[0:48:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Snorkels. Yes. Fucking snorkels. Much deeper conversation. I love the fact that we... Like, you know...
[0:48:50] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Zone of proximal development. Sorry. That was really driving me crazy. It's the zone of proximal development. It's it's driving me... That... That's your... The... Your zone of proximal development is what you are right outside of your comfort level so that you can assimilate into your, mental schema. There you go.
[0:49:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: I am totally underdeveloped, I just realized.
[0:49:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're very sure. Second Yeah. Facts. Seconded. Yes. I saw Italian came up. Italian, did you wanna chime in on this? Or, or or...
[0:49:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yo. Yo. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. Look.
[0:49:26] Voice J: I I I was just chilling, man. Listen. I was taking care of some stuff, getting some food, and, relax. And I I think, again, you guys just bring up a lot of good points about, like, look. This stuff can get complex. You know, you see opportunity everywhere in this space, but that's what they want you to see. They want you to think you have a chance to win, so you go head first without doing the proper research, and then you get fucked. So, you know, when you see these things popping up, all these new opportunities, take your time. Listen. Come to the people that actually know what they're talking about. I love coming in here because as much as I like to think I know about the crypto space, when I'm sitting into spaces like this, I'm always learning something new. And I think everyone else can say the same. They're coming in here. You guys are always just dropping straight knowledge. And as they say, as corny as it sounds, knowledge is power. Right? You gotta you gotta know what you're getting into because, look, the opportunities, they they want you to feel like you're missing out, and that's that emotional attachment, the FOMO. That's what gets a lot of first time traders into a lot of trouble. You know? You're you're not following a plan. Like me and Landy were talking about the last time. If you don't follow your plan, it doesn't matter how experienced you are. You are gonna get into a situation. You're gonna let your emotions take over, and then you're gonna, again, not follow your plan, and then boom, you ended up, you know, losing a lot of money. So it's just like, well, take your time, relax a little bit, have some patience. Because then if you can go with an actual proper plan, you're not gonna be in a situation where you might regret, you know, something. So that's, yeah. You you guys are pretty much just, spitting fire up here. Appreciate you, having me chime in.
[0:51:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, man. Of course, bro. Welcome. Guys, yeah, because you don't wanna be you don't wanna be that degen, right, sitting off the curb at the bus stop. Because then you get approached by fucking people like Billy Betts, and he's like, hey, man. How much money you got left in that pocket, dude? You need to get on that bus. Why don't you put a bed in in fucking Singaporean ping pong, bro? I got the lines on the playoffs.
[0:51:25] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: This is getting weird.
[0:51:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Come come back.
[0:51:27] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Bro, what happened to this weekend?
[0:51:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let me... That was... I feel like that was a... Oh, man. Damn. Brad, no. I I thought that was a good one. No?
[0:51:39] Bread @_ToastMalone: I mean, that league hasn't... It's their off season right now. It's Czech and and the Polish leagues.
[0:51:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Come on. Take the league. Okay. Fine. Cambodian Jailai. I don't know. What the hell? Do people even know what Jailai is? It looks dangerous. Have you ever seen that? Like, you...
[0:51:54] Bread @_ToastMalone: I don't know. But I lost $30 the other night on World Cup because, you know, I was feeling patriotic, and I put the bet in for USA versus Mexico knowing that we were probably gonna get smoked. But, you know, you you... You know? And, yeah, I just totally got smoked.
[0:52:09] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I I made some money on that bet, actually, but I did not use Billy bets. I used the best Billy......
[0:52:15] Bread @_ToastMalone: First bread bet.
[0:52:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo.
[0:52:17] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: How much is that? Fuck you twice. It was kinda funny. He's like, actually, I did make money, and I didn't do it on your platform. Fuck you. Mhmm.
[0:52:26] Bread @_ToastMalone: Well, yeah, Billy said to take Mexico. Right? So I mean, like, he's definitely better at the shit than I am, but, like, know, Billy's not an American as far as I'm concerned. He hasn't shit... You know, he's not nearly as patriotic as I am.
[0:52:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: So is... When when Billy Betts goodingo version then? What the hell? This should be amazing. Wait. So, Brad, let me ask you. Wait. Hold on a second.
[0:52:46] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Wait. So he's not white bread?
[0:52:50] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. He's wonder, Brad.
[0:52:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Do know what happens when you work with me? Work with me. With me without me. With me without... Anyway. No, Brad. Can we, like, simulate the vuvuzelas, like, with the Billy bets every time you win a bet? It's like Yo. I think You know what It's a soccer game?
[0:53:08] Bread @_ToastMalone: It's a 100. I think we absolutely should. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's start, like, blasting people's, like, eardrums out, like, when you got AirPods in and somebody's side. Like, and, yeah, it'll just be vuvuzo.
[0:53:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, seven per... Listen. Subdomains, 7% royalty. Every vuvuzo, they'll have fucking announcement. Thank you, Brent.
[0:53:24] Landy @CryptoLandy: Please. Please. Please. Have a little pop up that comes up after that. It's like, would you like to buy the Billy RWA?
[0:53:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: And then now... It's a company based out of Ohio.
[0:53:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is our CEO, and it shows a picture of Mars fucking Eeyore, PFP, or whatever the fuck that thing is. I still think it's Eeyore. I still... I don't even know what the hell it is, guys, honestly. Anyways, back on track. We're gonna talk. Guys, I saw... Think agents had some news today. Sunny d's week... Yo. Tron is opening the doors to the kingdom and saying, come meme coins. Come other chains. Finally, and they're doing it with a USD 1 pairing. A little Trumpy Trump stable coin mixed in there. Sunny, do you wanna give us the Lolo? And then I wanna say what's up to Bill, though, and maybe he give us the low low on on what's going on with these these think agents.
[0:54:19] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yeah. So this story kinda... I've... I started with... People might have saw that Russia is gonna launch the ruble on Tron. I think this is gonna be a trend that we continue to see. It's kinda like a big fuck you to the rest of everywhere around the... Because what was it? Tether froze, like, $27,000,000 of assets or Russian linked assets. So so that's a a new, you know, superpower that is working around, and and they're choosing Tron. So that... Stablecoins are nice and... For the most part.
[0:54:59] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Does that make you a Russian op?
[0:55:03] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I don't know. All they know is if they transact on Tron, it burns TRX, and that's good for me. So
[0:55:12] Sunny D @dylN0chill: so there's that. And then, obviously, we saw that there was the Tron ecosystem tokens are now all paired with USD 1. And USD 1 volume on Tron over the past couple days has significantly spiked. I think they have about... I'm trying to pull this information up right here. I talked about it earlier. So volume transfer is, like, right around 5,500,000. So it's just kinda, like, percolating, and things are starting to happen. Those pairs are available on HTX. And and what this kinda indicates is, you know, they're leveraging their platform to do another move, and this kinda coincides with the Trump token moving to Tron as well. They're sending out signals. There's something cooking over here, And they're kinda just showing how to migrate to Tron, and you pair that with the reverse merger. Now TradFi is kinda getting exposure as to how yields are made on Tron, and it's baked into fundamentals with the energy bandwidth model. Yeah. That's kinda that's kinda that, I guess.
[0:56:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: D? I'm a... I'm I'm gonna... I think I've identified a little bit of a, an area of quote opportunity for us. I need you to sound... It might not be sexy, but you're gonna sell... You gotta sell this shit to us. You know what I mean? Like, I'll be excited when I hear about Tron and... Even if it's passive income. We need to sit down and figure some shit out about, like, how do we make this shit sexy?
[0:56:51] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Oh, I thought he was doing an Eeyore impression over there because you mentioned Eeyore.
[0:56:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: I thought so. Yeah.
[0:56:56] Sunny D @dylN0chill: You know? Just these things. Well, I I mean, I'm just I'm just used to I'm just used to the space completely going over... Like, trying going over everybody's heads.
[0:57:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: You see what you guys did? I hope you're happy with yourselves. I hope you're happy yourselves. Do you see? How how much a p... Why don't you
[0:57:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: just sell the APRs at least?
[0:57:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: That was that was less Eeyore and more Swedish chef. Thank you. The guests. Yeah.
[0:57:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: He was more excited when he
[0:57:21] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: did the Eeyore impressions. Come on.
[0:57:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: I need that Thursday morning 9AM Sunny D.
[0:57:28] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Sunny D, I hate to break it to you, but when you've sold people and they've asked you about how to get it and what's going on, you think that that's... That that it's going over our heads. That just means you you already sold us.
[0:57:46] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Already sold you. Well, don't know. I just already had, like, a hour and a half long space talking about it today. I mean, it was a pretty hype space. Everybody was feeling super bullish over on Tron. I mean, this... We're watching the integration, and we're seeing, like, which chains stablecoins are gonna run on. And when your when your chain operates at a fundamental level of commerce and there's just flywheels baked into every single, part of the ecosystem based on this, As this activity begins to ramp up, it's just going to trigger more burns of the ecosystem tokens, buyback and burns, and it's just gonna be a flywheel, whether it's the TRX token, the SUN DEX token. It's just... I'm just... I'm... I just came back. I was on vacation for, like, five days, and I, like, spaced out. And I'm like, I'm in bliss because I'm moving around and, like, even in crypto, people aren't really, like, paying attention to this, and it's just happening. And, you know, the headlines are happening. Like, you saw... Everybody must have saw that Trump's coming over to Tron. Like, you see their core... Like, collaboration with WorldFi Liberty. When you break down the the specifics of the reverse merger with, SRM and Tron Inc, like, you can you can read between the lines. And, I mean, it's... And I just... And I've been just saying it for years and years and years. So sorry I wasn't energetic at first. My bad.
[0:59:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Come on, man. You know I'm just about to
[0:59:14] Sunny D @dylN0chill: fucking because I can get hyped. I can get hyped. You watch. I can get hyped. Yo. That'd be... Yeah. Yeah. That's what
[0:59:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: I want. That's the 70 d I want. No. But so so some people might not know. Right? So... Cool. I don't know if you did see that news, but Trump token is now gonna be able to be bridged via LayerZero, And now you're opening it up to all these other ecosystems straight into Trump, baby. That news can... Our news dropped today. What's your thoughts, Cole?
[0:59:38] Kool @koolcryptovc: I... Guy. There's nothing nothing to say, man. It's bullish. Right? I mean... Yeah. So I I think I think it's it's pretty cool. Whoever Trump hired to do this stuff, they're doing a very good job, man. They are integrating his company or his name into every aspect of crypto. So... But not not too much to say about this. They make you muscle money, and it's good for them. Is it good for the crypto? I say yes, because I think more more billionaires will see what Trump has done, and they're going to wanna replicate what he's done. So I think he's a bullish man. Yeah. For sure.
[1:00:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Last call. Trump token available soon via layer zero. Stephanie d.
[1:00:16] Sunny D @dylN0chill: One last thing just to kinda drive this in. The the the ecosystem energy and bandwidth model is what's gonna be really attractive to these people with lots of liquidity and launching stablecoins. Because when you acquire enough of the TRX token, you... And you vote for the super representatives, they receive rewards or or resources that replenish every twenty four hours. And those resources can either be used and, like, delegated. So, like, why do you think withdrawing USDT from Binance only costs a dollar? That's value transfer because they're doing... They're... They've created a payment railroad system that is free for them, and then they can take that savings and either profit from it, like what we're seeing Tether, like, look at how they're making so much money. Look at where all the money's moving. It's on Tron. Know, they might not have as much liquidity as Ethereum, but the money's moving on Tron. And, you know, we were just got done talking about how fees, fees, fees. And it's just like, well, if you can just, you know, only charge a dollar and people can move their funds any amount for just a dollar, you you make money in the volume of the economic activity rather than just, like, gouging everybody individually. And so when you pair that with a stablecoin and you can attract people to use your stablecoin, it... That's how you make your stablecoin, like, profitable without, you know, rigging it. And so that's why... And so that's kind of the the deal. I
[1:02:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: love it, bro. Yo, Sanjay, I did have one quick question because or other... One one question and one statement. I feel like I got a I got a little bit of info for you guys, after my, my Friday excursion or my Friday, harbor crudes, shall I say, with Tron's newest hire here in New York. But it happened to me again on Trust Wallet Sunnyd where I went to go, let's say, bridge, some, some, like, USDT on Tron over to, let's say, another network. And on Trust Wallet, it was costing even... Sorry. Not a bridge. Even just a send from wallet to wallet, it was a $7 fee, and I know this happened to Meta Beast. Do I need to stake TRX from that wallet in order to avoid, like, paying $7, like, for that fee? Because it was literally, like, a nominal amount or whatever. Do I need to stake directly from that wallet?
[1:02:58] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yes. To reduce or completely eliminate your transaction costs on Tron, you need to stake. And what will happen, it'll be a paradigm shift, is people will realize, oh, wait. I can do commerce for free and earn APY on my holdings if I make Tron my home base. Because once you do that, everything you do is free.
[1:03:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Blockchain
[1:03:25] Sunny D @dylN0chill: becomes So in your case, you just... Would you have, like, some USDT and you just needed to, like, execute a smart contract and swap it? Yeah. Yeah. So... And if you don't have resource, so kinda like when you're playing... Maybe I won't make a World of Warcraft reference, but your resources are basically like mana points. And if you're a mage, you can only cast so many spells before your mana points disappear. And then eventually, you know, you... They rejuvenate or you take a potion, which is like renting energy, and you refill your your transaction energy. So... And then if you're not using it, you can also rent that out to people and you can earn upwards of 15 to 20% APY with that. If you're not... Say you got like a week where you're going on vacation, you can automate it so that other people can use your energy. So... But we're we're we're... I'm assembling a, like, a four four spaces deep dive into Tron and how to use it and how to leverage all these tools so that you can reduce all your costs for blockchain. And then... So, like, what me and a lot of Tronix do is we operate from Tron and then go out into the rest of the space and play with our earnings that we get from there. And it's just a great system. It's like a... It changed the way I do money, like, seven years ago. And it's cool to see people kinda, like, learning about it. And I'm happy to help facilitate people learning about it if they want to.
[1:04:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's fucking go, Sunny d. And that... If that's not your tagline, I don't know what is. Tron helping you... Helping me do money since blah blah blah. That's incredible, bro. Come on. And by the way, more mage wizard fucking dungeons and dragons, whatever, because I've never seen emojis like that, like, especially talking about passive income from you. So take the cues. Okay? This is what I do well. More of those comparisons. Apparently, that shit resonates. I had no fucking clue what you were saying, but I don't matter. Everyone else here does. Lindy, go for it.
[1:05:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: I really just want the alpha and how I can skirt international sanctions and trade the ruble again. So hit me up. I'm really interested in this. I think that there's some good plays to be had. Also, like... Okay. Being serious, I went to maybe two spaces, and I've tried to hit some more. I tried to get in there earlier, but I couldn't stick around. After going to sunny... Sunnyd's space, I actually understood what the hell I was supposed to be doing. And now that I've implemented it, it is a really easy way to move around stables for me. Like, I... It it is so much simpler, and I've avoided incurring a lot of costs after understanding the energy stuff. So, like, bravo to you and what you... What you've been doing with that stuff. I I really do appreciate it.
[1:06:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: What part miniseries, Sunny, do you say? Tell us more.
[1:06:34] Sunny D @dylN0chill: How much detail do you want?
[1:06:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Coming soon.
[1:06:37] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yep. Announcement of announcement. Something. Education secrets alpha. Yes.
[1:06:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: May... Mages and wizards in a four part Tron series that will change the way you see passive income forever. Oh my god. That shit.
[1:06:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't know how casual does that shit.
[1:07:02] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Damn. How crazy was Friday?
[1:07:05] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hang on real quick. Dave needs to get him some, like, tea and some lemon and some honey or something because, like, I can barely understand this MF for now that his voice is shot to shit.
[1:07:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro. Okay. But how about now? Is now a little bit better?
[1:07:21] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. Now you sound crazy, bro. Just go get some tea and some
[1:07:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: honey Okay. Some lemon. Okay. I will. Tea and honey. What is this? Sweet tea and honey. Friday. Let me tell you all about Friday. Number one, we on our way, baby. I'm kidding. Well, I hope I hope we are. But the conversation I had, so for those that don't know, just a little bit of context. Friday, I went, I was invited by Sophie, who was the new, hire on the Trondell team, to essentially do, like, a lot of, like, KOL management. Amazing human being. Like, she's... It was so much fun. We had a great time. And we genuinely spent the majority of the time on the boat when we weren't, like, people watching and fucking totally judging every single crazy ass walk of life that was on that fucking boat because it literally feels like you're at, like, a like, a third cousin's wedding that that that everyone gets invited, you're like, what the hell are they doing here? Who's who's that? Who's this person? It was the melting pot of melting pots. But, anyways, we talked about a lot of things because she started asking some really, really interesting questions. And, I mean, you know me. I'm not shy to give my opinion on a lot of things, but what really... Like, it... The app, like, makes me have a really positive outlook in terms of Tron having someone like Sophie, right, being able to kinda bring this sort of, like, feedback back is she's genuinely curious. Right? And Tron genuinely curious as to how they can facilitate more content creators, KOLs, whatever the fuck you wanna call people, like... And in producing this content. That is a huge deal. So, like, I'm throwing everything and anything, but the kitchen... Anything that's not nailed down to the floor, I'm like, we need to do this. We need to talk about this. We need to talk about... Sunny d, I went from... This is this is the range in which I suggested things. I started with... Listen. You need to give content creators the power to create content unfiltered, like, no... Like, don't put rails in place. Meaning, go partner with Vio or one of these other AI image generators or video generators. Let them, like, open that up to 50 creators, give them unlimited access, and and have them create Tron focused, right, content, and then see how organic your shit's gonna be. The majority of creators out here are not creating amazing content because they don't want to. It's because they're limited in what they can do, whether it's their time, their money, or anything else. Eliminate those barriers, and you'll see fucking incredible content come out. I started there, and somehow I ended up on the biography of Sunny d and Trav. I don't know how, but, essentially, I relate it to people relay to, like, other community members, artists, whoever, like, human stories. So, like, if you're able to showcase community members and what they've done, what they've built, how they've built it, like, take us behind the scenes, almost like a v h one behind the music type of deal, and show us, like, why these guys are... And girls are still in your ecosystem fighting every day. What do they see? Like, but from their voice and their eyes. So that's kind of the gamut, Sunnyv. Just to kinda give you an idea. And, bro, we should definitely be talking and meeting with Sophie. She's absolutely incredible. So much fun, but super receptive. We talked about a lot of stuff. We also made an agreement that we we might say some shit that we probably shouldn't say, like, to each other about our work stuff. So... Yeah. I... We gotta, you know, I gotta look over the NDA that we signed with each other. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. We didn't sign an NDA. But... Yeah. No. Sunny d. Like, she's a huge resource, a massively valuable one. Trav, I'm serious, bro. She's incredible. We need to utilize her more, and she's probably gonna kill me because she's been asking me for the pictures that we took. And I'm like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you know me, a d d. Trav. Let's fucking go. Let's fucking go. You got me so hyped up listening to that. Let's go. I love that, bro. Yeah, man. It was a great conversation. Dude, like, this is what she was brought on for. Right? Like, I was telling her, like, stop fucking paying fucking KOLs to tweet shit. Right? I don't... It doesn't matter if they... How many followers they have. Like, follow the people, empower the people at the root... That's a build up plug. At the root of your ecosystem, and then watch them become the fucking screaming evangelicals about your product because you supported them and watch that shit grow faster than any fucking 100 or 200,000 account tweeting out, hey, everybody. Go check out Tron, and literally moving right the fuck on fifteen seconds later. It does... That's... That model doesn't work. It doesn't work. But, bro, we discussed the differences between, like, how, like, the Asian culture is set up very different, like, the work environment. Right? Where it's like, look, we got a job to do here, and, like, I have to get this job done. And I told her it's really hard for me to give feedback on a lot of things because I don't know. Am I... Like, is this successful? Is this not? I was like, if you can be that liaison between both, like, both sides, you'll you'll see some crazy things happen. But, bro, it was a it was super creative conversation. Like, I mean, it was just overall amazing. That's the kind of conversation I wish I could play back. But, yeah, shitty memories like mine. I need an AI that I can wear around, like, my neck that just records everything, but that'd be kinda creepy. But, yeah, Sonny, do you have anything you guys wanna add?
[1:12:53] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yeah. I I spoke with her briefly, I think, on, like, Wednesday or Thursday, and it was probably one of the most welcoming conversations I've had from, apart from my homies that are that are in Trondell right now that I've known for years. But, it seems like they have her there for a reason. I like what she's there for, and I'm gonna... I'm looking forward to talking to her again. And and I think this is this is... If anybody's falling asleep in the audience right now, this is gonna be... When they figure this out, when Tron figures out how to properly do this, I don't know.
[1:13:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm I'm smelling like,
[1:13:33] Sunny D @dylN0chill: I don't know, like, maybe a WagMeHub, like, InfoFi partnership, like... Or, you know, different things like, like, Tron was originally made to be, like, the facilitator of entertainment on the Internet. And it's still it's still, like, one of the things that it does, but it pivoted to stable coins because that is what is gonna work, bull or bear. People need to transfer money. The emerging markets are adopting it at record pace. More people signed on with drawn wallets than Bitcoin because they just need to pay their rent. They need to buy coffee and the lira sucks and their governments are corrupt and, you know, like, that's that's why they're on Tron. They're not even crypto people. They're just people who just need to live. And and that... That's something that, you know, we can, as crypto people, evangelize and and show impact, like, real world impact. And when, they finally put some real funding behind helping real people make content and spread the word about this. I mean, they got a lot of money. They make...
[1:14:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: You like... Tani, do you like the idea of, like, you know, give them unlimited, like, AI resources for, like, a month or something. Right? Like, if you're gonna put money in, like, you know, they're gonna... I think she said they either are doing in the... Oh, shit. I probably shouldn't say. Something with Kaito's coming or it... It's here. Please say that it's here, and I didn't just fucking spill that fucking tea. Okay. Nope. Okay. Disregard everything I just said. That never happened. I never had that conversation with Sophie. Don't even know who Sophie is. But I maybe said, if you would consider something like Kaito, it might make sense. I might have used a poker starter ref... A Polka Dot reference, you know, so on and so forth. Fuck. She's gonna kill me. It's gonna hoard a...
[1:15:19] Kkoma @itskkoma: If you can afford a banana on a wall, I think any... You should be able to afford Kaido. I'm just saying.
[1:15:25] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Seems like
[1:15:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: a good return. Trondo is gonna back with Bitcoin and become a Bitcoin treasury Dow company? God. What? Oh my god.
[1:15:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't do this to me now. I didn't even get to Buildo and the ThinkAgents. Could we please get to the ThinkAgents story because... Before you guys start flooding this shit to hell? Please, Bill, though. Sonny d, Trav, thank you, bro. And, Trav, you have every fucking reason to be hype and amped up. I'm telling you, I would... Bro, it was... Like, when I was talking to her, she was super receptive, and it's like, holy shit. Someone actually listening to my crazy ideas. This is... Like, you must be crazy, Sophie, but she was listening, bro, and this is how shit starts. This is the little little spark of, like, how shit starts. But... Yeah. Okay. Good chat. We got fifteen minutes left. Bildo, n f... Bread, I hate you, wherever you are. Bildo, what's good, my bro? I love the new get up. I see you have I see you have shades on as well. Are those similar to Landy shades, or you just trying to go in... Is this the incognito version of Buildo? What's up?
[1:16:25] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: It's just tough out here, man. Everybody, like, started throwing on the same hat that I had on to use as a disguise, so I had to switch it up. And then fucking Metabee's took it to a whole another level and fucking copied mine and added a mustache, so I had to fucking add mustache glasses, eyebrows, and a fucking nose, to kinda really make sure, you know, everybody knew this was the real me. But, yeah, what's going on? Happy Monday.
[1:16:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: So you put on a a deeper disguise so that people would know it was the real
[1:17:01] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: you. Exactly.
[1:17:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Makes it... I got it. Yeah. No. Thank you for thank you for clarifying that. And to the fucking clowns that are out there being like, Wagyu's a scam because somebody took somebody else's PFP. Stop. You're embarrassing yourself. Just stop. Below, can you fill us in? I saw you shared that. I don't know if it was just with me or or in a in a group chat, but, think agents are coming. There's... We got some news on, we got some news on tap for the Think agents. I think TGE is coming up. What do we got cooking, bro?
[1:17:35] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. I think there's an announcement coming soon to start their marketing campaign with whatever exchange they're gonna be dropping on as well.
[1:17:46] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: They have, like, a... It's like a bundle, so, like, a ThinkAgent bundle. You get your ThinkAgent, obviously, token allocation, and then art by this person or collective of people called basic. So the art will start to reveal. They put out a trailer for that today. That's what I sent to you. So it looks like the art will be revealing agent's claim, I think, is next week or next month. But, yeah, TGE should be in the following weeks with the next, like, two weeks kinda leading, a whole marketing campaign for the token launch. So pretty exciting stuff. Hopefully, does well.
[1:18:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And and, did it mention also something about, like, the think techno, the builder session that they have as well? Which I think that's what Mikey and Jesse do really well because you guys have heard Jesse talk about this. Right now, let's watch that content. He's all about building in public. He wants this to be out there, and that shit is working. If you would have told me that an NFT that minted out two, three months ago, okay, but you compare that to, let's say, one that minted out but that didn't talk, but yet these guys are out here all day, every day pushing this out, creating relationships. These guys have kept this entire narrative not only alive but, like, thriving. I don't know. Like, I love what they do. I've only been able to attend one of the, the builder sessions. Bilal, how are the builder sessions? Like, is it... Like, can anybody join? Like, what's the deal?
[1:19:14] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Yeah. Absolutely. Anybody, well, they might be token gated to the cage holders. I'm not totally positive if that channel on Discord is token gated by me. I mean, I've just always had the token, so I I've always been able to join. But, yeah, I think they had, like, 45 people in there last time. I know no credits down there. Is a very active participant. Seems like there's a lot of cool stuff going. I know they have a thing called the, which, like, again, all of their marketing has been, like, spot on with, like, everything that they've done from the name thing to free thing to the, to the, the, It's been nothing but amazing as far as, like, the marketing or, that goes. But they announced one, put out a trailer for the first company that was part of the ThinkCubator last week. I think they're doing another one this week, and then one more following. I believe they went to,
[1:20:19] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I wanna say, Colorado for their first meetup, and they're going over to Nashville and then ending up in LA for the third company. So it'll be interesting to see how that all comes about. I believe the first one is, like, the guy that actually did all the interface for, like, the Cash App app. So, like, he's got worlds of experience in the developmental world, so it'll be really cool. I think he's working on something in the device space that goes along with it. Would have to go back and check to make sure. A lot's been going on. Yeah. Trying to be a boomer in a fast moving tech space is a bit difficult. I am currently staring at a bunch of screenshots that I would like to turn into a video or an homage, and I have no fucking clue how to do it. Ask somebody about a job opportunity. They said, send me your LinkedIn, and I realized, fuck. I'm fucking 41. I've been at my same job for fourteen years. I I don't even have a LinkedIn, so I gotta get that set up. So, sorry if I'm a little scatterbrained on some of the things stuff today.
[1:21:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: I thought you... You're good. Hashtag boomer problems. Hey, man. Listen. This is why we're buying think agents, isn't it? The fuck. Help us solve these problems. Thanks, Bill, though. No. I appreciate it, bro. Vibes, welcome. What's up?
[1:21:42] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: How are you? Lou and Lou. Bill, I might be able to help you. I... I'm really wanting to say your other name. I'm doing the best, and I'm like, nope. Best behavior. Best behavior. Different space. Be good. But I do like your disguise. Incognito suits you. It's like the Marx Brothers. Really. Yeah. That's fine. But I want to see what you're
[1:22:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: discreet. He's just... He's discreet. Bildo. Bildo. Discreet.
[1:22:12] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Bildo. And then he wants to see dildo, don't you?
[1:22:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: If that becomes, like, an official thing where, like, Aaron's like, it's not fur. It's... What did he call... What is this... What is it called? So on the on the the fluffs build, though, he was like, it's not fur. I was like, oh, well, my bad. Are you gonna... Is is this gonna be an official one?
[1:22:32] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I think he... I don't know what you're referring to, but it's definitely for
[1:22:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Maybe maybe that's Yeah.
[1:22:40] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: Like, discreetly. Or if you can just go into incognito mode and throw on a fucking quick disguise. So, yeah, I'm just in incognito mode right now. That's all.
[1:22:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nobody sees Bill.
[1:22:54] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Bernie loves me. Just the time.
[1:22:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: But it's like the glasses. It's like, you know, how, like, there's, like, the cloak of invisibility. It's like, I put these on.
[1:23:03] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: You cannot see me. I'm invisible.
[1:23:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: You can't see me. I'm invisible.
[1:23:10] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Is that a child that's gonna... I can't see you, therefore, I'm invisible. I feel it's a little bit like that because it's like two pairs of glasses. Yeah. My next... Nice. That's it.
[1:23:21] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: My next idea is putting a red and white shirt on and it's gonna be like, where's Bildo? And it's just gonna be a where's Waldo version of my fluff.
[1:23:30] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Bro. I like it. We can we can have this up. We're looking for a few full cloak by the end.
[1:23:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: That would be so good, bud. Wouldn't that be so good? Bro, you could do whole puzzle. That'd be a whole series.
[1:23:43] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: You could do. It'd be really funny going to different space. And now, do you go, where is he? I can't see him. He's invisible. Remember that when your kids, they pretend you're invisible and your parents had to go, no. I can't see him. Oh, where is she going? She's disappeared.
[1:23:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. This could replace the Twitter picker. It's like, guys, I'm gonna... Bildo's gonna be added to the fucking space in just a minute. And if you can tell us exactly what it says when you find, like, where's Bildo and what it says on his shirt, comment it in the fucking box below. Yo, Bildo. This is a fucking business. Look at this shit, bro. For once, I'm the idea, man. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly, Sunny. Dude, that shit that shit was fucking good. Yeah. You fuckers know that was great. Thank you, Lindy. What did we miss, guys? What else is on the timeline maybe that we that we didn't get to? And by the way, this is the first episode where I think we've said Kaito less than 10 times. So congrats. Number one round of applause for everybody.
[1:24:40] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I'm sorry. I didn't catch that word. What did you say?
[1:24:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We're at nine. Don't you dare try and take us over the quota, missy. I know...
[1:24:47] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: It's easier to hear what you said. Number one, what was the word we're not to say? Kato. No. Fine. Didn't match it.
[1:24:57] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Not... Is that the
[1:24:58] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: clapping soundboard or the yapping soundboard?
[1:25:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Woah. It's a snapping soundboard. Did you say butthole? What do you... Okay, Meta Beast.
[1:25:05] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Oh, Meta Beast.
[1:25:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Where is Meta Beast? What's his story?
[1:25:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: He's just under a different PFP. For all we know, you could be Meta Beast right now with the way he's changing things around. I was gonna say there is one pretty interesting story that is kind of getting lost, but Jack Dorsey created a Bluetooth gossip protocol for peer to peer networking and messaging, and Bitcoiners are already using it to send and transfer Bitcoin. So talk about resilience.
[1:25:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: You have to be sitting next to the other person. It's 300 fucking meters. Where are you gonna go with that?
[1:25:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, you can be connected. I can be connected to you, and you can be connected to Cool, who could be connected to Combine, and we could potentially have a nice little network to you. It's actually... It's a good alternative. Obviously, it's... It can't scale without larger networks that it can run over. But trust me, that that is the next iteration, right, is to encapsulate that encrypted, hopefully, with post quantum cryptography. We should probably get some people in here to educate us about that. And then you could send that over a network like like the public Internet, and you could run basically sub networks underneath... You know, utilizing the Internet, utilizing Bluetooth, which is kind of a crazy thing to do. Because if you think about spinning up nodes that are doing this for any network, as a matter of fact, it it becomes a nice little viable backup as long as you have electricity, and you're good to go.
[1:26:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: As long as you have electricity. Yeah. Don't lose electricity. Guys, good good stuff, Landy. And, Bilbo, by the way, I I I root pilled Landy the other day about validators. So, yeah, if he doesn't have them already... He's at... He doesn't have 10 set up already. So, yeah, don't worry about it. I didn't send him my referral link or anything like that. I just I just floated the idea out there. So, yeah. But he's, of course, still gonna wait for us because he's also a lazy fuck like the rest of us sometimes. So he definitely didn't have money yet, but don't yet.
[1:27:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. I haven't. I I went and I have all the resources in order to do it. And when I say resources, I do mean resources in in order to do it. So it's just a matter of doing it now.
[1:27:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Postcards are ready to be sent out to grandma, as we say here on ATC. The... Just came across this story. This is what drives me crazy about fucking just... Like, the reporters reporting on crypto, if I even call them that, is fucking insanity. The latest fucking story that was put out six minutes ago, Bitcoin crashes on Trump's new trade war threat. August 1 could be the day everything breaks. You're a news outlet. You're not a Twitter spaces... Elite spaces host. What are you doing? Like, it's your job to relay proper information. I... I'm like, oh my god. What happened? I pull up the Bitcoin price, a 108,000. I'm like, down, like, point 9%. What the fuck are we talking? Like, this is the problem here. This is it right here. Dave Stop the when that
[1:28:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: was announced, it... In their defense, when that was announced, I was looking at the one second chart on Bitcoin, and the candle was red. It wasn't very red,
[1:28:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: but it was red. Don't know TNA, but I know one second chart is fucking nonsense. That's what I fucking know. That's insanity. But shout out to those that took advantage. And if you're not in the all coin cabal group chat, we shared these chain these chain, excuse me, d e g e in that group chat. At 2ยข, we were like, wait for collapse. Collapse down to 0.5 a penny, now back up to 3.5ยข. And coma, Ribbet fucking capital. I just... I had a note in my mind that just came to me. Where did I see where did I see the Ribbet name? Hold on. I think I took a screenshot. What's the Ribbit news? Please tell me there is, and I'm not crazy.
[1:29:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: I haven't been as focused with that one. Is there any new news with Ribbit Capital?
[1:29:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: I came across a post or something, and I I believe I took a screenshot of it so that I wouldn't forget. But I also took a lot of other screenshots and pictures over the weekend that I don't know what had them... Which... Yeah. I don't know what to make of half the shit, but I gotta go look through it. But there was... I saw the Ribbet Finance name on something really fucking big. That's what I remember. Pause. But, yeah, I'll figure it out. In essence, I shouldn't have said anything. I was hoping you you maybe had something. I retract my state... My statement. But maybe that's the reason why it ran up heavy. Alright. Anything else, kids? Landy, any other stories? Cool. Any other stories before you jump on your stream?
[1:30:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: I got one. Katana, like, main net slash, you know, collaboration with Sushi is is out. So if you wanna look at some juicy, juicy APRs, the liquid... The... They... They're really, really nice right now. Yeah. Like, you get... Like, even the stable pairs like AUSD and USDC is, like, heavily incentivized right now. So they're they're 14% APR and 83% CAT. But, obviously, this is... Assumes a certain price of CAT. But, yeah, like, just the the APRs are really hot because it just opened today. So, you know, the moon mass says 98%. So, I mean, do what you will with that number. But I I think right now, it's, you know, it's good to take advantage while it's early before too much liquidity comes in, and then, yeah, do it accordingly. USDC, USDT, 85%. B... Wrap BTC with LBTC is at 49%. So a lot... You do get rewards in also sushi, which is currently tradable. So just saying. You just... Yeah. Might wanna move some money over if you wanna get some decent yields and pretty low on impermanent loss because you're doing it against another similar pair.
[1:31:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's it. Good good shit. And, Landy, there was a... Thanks, Coma. Landy, there was some big Hermetica news on Friday that kinda went overshadowed. Do you you wanna fill us in on what the fuck? Like, I don't know why he released it on Friday, but, yeah, man, that was big, big news.
[1:31:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. First, I'm gonna bail you out on the Ribbit Capital story. There was, the... I I just... This is, you know, the whole bookmark thing. It really makes me want, like, searchable fucking bookmarks. So I I managed to find it. It's... There is a new opportunistic fund where they're they're looking to to fund up another 300 mil or something like that, and that is via some it's not letting me find it now. But it it... Maybe maybe include it once once we can find it in, like, tomorrow or something. But there was...
[1:32:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Not the best bailout. I think I died. There's no bailout. I I went under.
[1:32:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, sorry. Well, while you're sinking down there, it has to do with a raise, essentially. It's a new fund that they're raising for. And there was a Rivet Finance post that was baiting people into the wrong thing on the back of it, and that's what was kinda making the rounds. So I had saved that. Wish I could find it. But... No. Big, big news out of Hermetica, and that is that now, you can connect, your EVM wallet, in this case, MetaMask, and you can transfer USDC straight through from Medica's app, to USDH. So that is... That opens up a world of opportunity. It's using Allbridge, and, that opens up a world of opportunity for getting liquidity very easily into Bitcoin. Right? Essentially, a Bitcoin stable coin and onto a Bitcoin based network. And this is, really cool shit. Like, this this is... This was inevitable, but it's big, big news that it's happening much sooner than I think many suspected it was gonna happen. And, you know, that's been showed off a little bit. I'm sure that we're gonna be talking a lot more about it. But... Yeah. I mean, look. All roads lead to Bitcoin at the end of the day. This is whether it's gonna be a Bitcoin focused network that is settled on Bitcoin at the end of the day or networks just trying to directly settle on Bitcoin in the future. This is just another step where we can get USDC stablecoins over to USDH for actual yield, like good yield, not platform yield. So here's the thing. When you're when you're staking a lot of your your stablecoins, you're getting, all these boosted and reward yields that are not really real yield at the end of the day. You're getting them from the platform so that they can fund up liquidity. And that is... Has been a problem for a long time, and Hermetica and Jacob and the team have have solved this by generating yield from the open market. So USDH is a really desirable asset to have as a stable. And now with, multiple vectors to get there, whether it's from layer one Bitcoin or layer two Bitcoin on stacks, now you can come right over from, EVM, so with, USDC. And that is an... I can't stress. I mean, it seems like a... Oh, that seems... Okay. Cool. They integrated... No. That's big. That's way bigger than I think people really understand because it's only going to keep moving forward from here. And that's how, we get real backed stablecoins with the hardest asset on the planet being Bitcoin. That is where we're headed, and that is a a beautiful thing to see. And I'm sure that there's gonna be a lot a lot more to talk about here very shortly regarding some of that stuff because there's a lot of bigger implications as that, USDC liquidity starts to come over.
[1:35:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thank you for stalling just enough, giving us the insight. I will bail myself out on the Ribbit Capital, thing because I founded Coma. It was on a on a page where they talked about something called the open platform. They secured $28,500,000 in series a funding, valuing the company at a billion dollars, and Ribbit Capital and Pantera were essentially the lead on that. Says the open platform, a pioneering tech company focused on web three innovations within Telegram. Oh, this is why I thought it was fucking huge. Within Telegram, I successfully secured 20,500,000 in a series a funding round led by Ribbit and supported by Pantera valuing the company at 1,000,000,000, making, marketing as the first unicorn in the ton based ecosystem within Telegram. Funds are gonna primarily be used to, to expand the company's products and services into new markets, United States and The EU, and the investment will also support significant efforts in go to market. Let me just see really quickly. The open platform has developed several notable products, including wallet in Telegram, a digital asset solution embedded into Telegram's interface, TonKeeper. Oh, this is Ton Ventures. Okay. I get it now. Coma, this is bigger than we fucking thought, bro. Ribbit Capital is is serious. Where's Tibber trading at, bro? Give me give me a give me a give me a quote. It's at
[1:37:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: Any idea? Sets 8.8... 0.085. It dipped a little bit, but not not not too bad. Like, smart money is still staying in. If anything, they're buying more confirmed on Nansum. So some panic panic sells. Sure. But, yeah, just to kinda add on to that, Riva Capital also, on their first investment, it was on Revolt Revolt Revolt app or whatever. They're up eight... Revolt. Sorry. Revolt. Yeah. 1,818... Around $8.20 x on their on their first investment, so they know what the hell they're doing. Just saying. But, yeah, that's why I've always been buying some Tibber because even on these dips because, number one, I was in the virtuals land, so I was getting a lot of the the points to... You know, for these Genesis launches. But any... Anytime I see a dip, I I buy a bit.
[1:37:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Love that comma. Good shit.
[1:37:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah.
[1:37:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Dave Ribbit is Holy shit. Someone just bought
[1:37:59] Kkoma @itskkoma: $31,000 worth of timber three minutes ago.
[1:38:04] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Very nice.
[1:38:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, because at the same day... Same time that you're talking about this, remember, they just announced that they... They're doing their LeapFrog fund because that's that's that's what was
[1:38:17] Kkoma @itskkoma: Did they literally call it LeapFrog fund?
[1:38:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. It's a subsidiary. So the LeapFrog fund is a... Alright. So this is from a few days ago. It's just last week, maybe. So Leapfrog is dubbed as an opportunistic fund that can facilitate a large range of deals, including growth investments, secondaries, publicly traded companies, take private transactions. And this is going to... Yes. So this is where there... There are multiple points. So this Leapfrog Fund is basically a subsidiary company. And what the rumor was when the... So now I'm seeing it. Yeah. Yeah. The rumor was that the Ton deal that they might have connections to some of these other funds and subsidiary funds is they're gonna start wrapping it all up into one thing. That's what I was trying to gauge.
[1:39:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: I know this is super speculative, but do you know that Tiber's, like, logo slash mascot is a frog?
[1:39:19] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Yeah.
[1:39:21] Sunny D @dylN0chill: So
[1:39:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Connect the dots. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tiber it is. Okay. Next fucking... Let's go. Time to fucking... Time to start getting in the the good shit, comma. This is this... I love how we connect these dots. Real quick Empress... Really quick Empress. Know Temi Tope had his hand up for a second, then I'll come right back to you. Temi Tope, what's up, man?
[1:39:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: In 321. Temitope, go. No. GM.
[1:39:56] Voice K: GM, bro. Yo. How far? How are you doing, bro?
[1:40:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm doing good, man. I'm doing good. Thanks for coming to this space. You got a question or or anything you wanna add?
[1:40:05] Voice K: Yeah. I just want to... As in I saw that they are talking about crypto, and I said it's joining. Maybe I have I have little update maybe. Yeah. I should... Let's just drop it.
[1:40:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay.
[1:40:16] Voice K: Yeah. As we drop? I've been I've been checking about as in... Like, I've been checking about the way the web block and BlackRock, the way the eye wouldn't as in b t c...
[1:40:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, wait. Hold on. Tell me me tell tell tell me. Hold on. Hold on. We're at the end of the show. If there's something like a brand new topic, it's very tough for us right now because we've been doing this ninety minutes. But, like,
[1:40:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: if you
[1:40:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: come tomorrow, like, come earlier in the show and raise
[1:40:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: your hand earlier so you
[1:40:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: can contribute, man.
[1:40:46] Voice K: Yes, man. First of all, I'm I'm sorry.
[1:40:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. You're good. You're good, bro. You're good. You're good. We're we're just about to close, but I'd love to have you back tomorrow, dude, and take part in this conversation with us, man.
[1:40:55] Voice K: Yeah. Alright. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks for asking me.
[1:40:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Of course, bro. Of course. I appreciate that. Yep. For sure. And, Fritz, go for it. Yep.
[1:41:04] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I ran the kid up to his girlfriends and back. You said you were closing. You're not closed.
[1:41:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't say I was closing.
[1:41:11] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: I said that.
[1:41:12] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: You did. You did. When? Early... Like, twenty minutes ago, you're like, we got fifteen minutes. We get... Here's our last couple of things. Round it out. 100%, you did.
[1:41:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's you that's you making assumptions. Our normal our normal end time is typically seven
[1:41:24] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: PM. I
[1:41:25] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: mean Bro?
[1:41:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: You you can extrapolate I'm making your words.
[1:41:28] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I'm not your puppet. I just listen to your words, and the kid has a girlfriend. I'm, like, half a CT. So, like, I drive him up there so he doesn't turn into you.
[1:41:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: He's gonna get laid?
[1:41:36] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I don't wanna talk about it. It's disturbing. Don't I... Why... Do you guys think it's weird? Like, I hope people ask your mom about your sex life because everybody in CT asked me about my son's sex life, and I think that's freaking weird. Anyhow No.
[1:41:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Up at the top. Crazy.
[1:41:54] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: Up at
[1:41:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: the top. I'm just saying. Anyways
[1:41:56] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Kinetic. Remember I kept saying they're dropping something, and nobody knows what they're talking. They're talking in hush tones, the intersectionality, the validators, blah blah blah blah. There's the announcement. Oddly, coincides with the pump dot fund drop. I think that's hilarious is what it is. Interesting things are going on on chain. People are unstacking from other hyperliquid protocols to free up liquid for that kinetic token. It's gonna be a clusterfuck, and it should show. I can't tell you what I did. But, something as, like, phenomenal has happened, and I know I know so many things now. I just wanted to to actually just reflect that on you, honestly.
[1:42:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? Yeah. Mhmm. You can't dunk on... You can't... That... You... Like, no. That's not how this works.
[1:42:46] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: That was fun for me.
[1:42:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Vibe, Mhmm. Do you see what... Do you see this shit?
[1:42:51] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: See what that's all about me? I I think she just said thank you for playing. About know that she's got alpha and she... She's got alpha. She... You don't... Uh-huh.
[1:42:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: In about in about three weeks, we'll figure it out. So I
[1:43:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: mean, what the fuck? Empress, what do you got? Spill it.
[1:43:10] AlphaGamer @AlphaGamer_sats: No. She bunched them on. Okay.
[1:43:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Wait. Listen.
[1:43:14] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I signed an NDA.
[1:43:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: Nice. Oh, god. Here we
[1:43:18] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: I'm tired....
[1:43:19] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Group. For a motherfucking alpha group. This is how we're moving in hyper liquid, bitches. An alpha group. Crazy.
[1:43:29] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: What kind of group?
[1:43:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: You add me to that group.
[1:43:32] Bildo Verde @BildoVerde: What kind of group was it?
[1:43:35] Kkoma @itskkoma: A beta group.
[1:43:36] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Beta cut group. Wait. That sounds bad. Then I'm debate.
[1:43:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: It says...... Still reviewing want that back.
[1:43:43] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. Yeah.
[1:43:44] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I'm watching that one back.
[1:43:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: I found an NDA for the beta company.
[1:43:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, don't worry. Don't worry. The derivatives are gonna launch outside of the group. So if you wanna catch, they're they're gonna take 10% of the tokenized assets to back it, and then they're going to 100 x that on Solana.
[1:44:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is it a trucking company?
[1:44:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: Is it a trucking company? I'm sorry.
[1:44:13] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Don't don't hate. Don't hate. It's fine. It's fine. But you wanna know the best part? When I was scrolling back
[1:44:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's up, beta?
[1:44:20] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: And I'm looking at all the alpha in that alpha group, I'd already called it three weeks before they had it in their group, so it's fine.
[1:44:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: We're done. I guarantee it, actually.
[1:44:29] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: It's all good.
[1:44:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. You've been you've
[1:44:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: been on the case for about, I would have to say, three weeks at this point.
[1:44:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, is that why you made the three week rep? Oh, we get it. We get it. So cute, guys. So cute. Little dialogue that you have three weeks from now. Share the fucking outfit. That's what people come
