The hosts and guests opened with casual banter, personal stories, and community commentary before diving into serious topics. They discussed the ongoing Tornado Cash trial and its massive implications for open-source developers, privacy tools, and potential precedent-setting risks. The conversation then shifted to PayPal’s new “Pay with Crypto” feature supporting over 100 cryptocurrencies including meme coins, weighing the benefits of mainstream adoption against concerns about centralized control and past PayPal behavior. Additional discussion covered one-click yield opportunities via MetaMask and Aave, Ray Dalio’s recommendation to allocate roughly 15% of net worth to Bitcoin and gold as a hedge against fiat debasement and inflation, and updates on Billy Betts securing a $1M funding round led by Coinbase Ventures. The space highlighted both the opportunities and risks present in the current crypto landscape. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:01:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Let's go. What up, Vince? Who cryptos in the building? AG was good. Ever since you. And cool. [0:02:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let me see. [0:02:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. What up, baby? [0:02:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. This out. [0:02:52] Voice J: Now check [0:02:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: this out. One day back in theory. [0:02:55] Voice J: Four guys wanted to say. They came on semester, but what's your name? [0:02:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's your name? Hey. You know what I'm saying? [0:03:01] Voice J: Then I said, alright, fellas. [0:03:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're a nineties kid. You know this. [0:03:04] Kool @koolcryptovc: Smile when [0:03:04] Voice J: they want you to say, yo, Mike. Check this out. See, it's this one. [0:03:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. AG, what up, Justice? What's good? [0:03:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: I was hella you were the running man with this joint, baby. [0:03:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: Let's go. [0:04:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: If that one was for you, I knew that was definitely gonna be one that we could agree on for sure. What's good, everybody? Hope everybody's doing well. Welcome. Happy Monday. ATC kicking off your week the right way. Appreciate everybody obviously being here with us. Sunny d, I apologize first and foremost to you for missing that space. I know I said I would make it, but I got suckered into taking these kids to Sky Zone. Let me tell y'all something. If you are 44 years old, I do not recommend putting on those orange funny socks, jumping on trampolines, and thinking that you Michael Jordan and trying to dunk on these ribs. Don't do it. Don't do it. I'm telling you, I couldn't walk afterwards. I still can't walk right now. The ground underneath me was shaking. My legs were Jell O. I don't even know if I have legs anymore, to be perfectly honest, but don't do it. Damn. Man. Anyways, Sunnyv, I genuinely apologize I missed your space, but thank you so much for joining the stream earlier today. It was amazing. Really, really great stuff on the ENS side, man. So I appreciate you, but let me say we talked to the boys. Cool's probably... I don't know if Cool's rugging or not, [0:05:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: but I don't see a [0:05:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: mic in this thing, so he might be. Cool, you there? [0:05:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: I got figured rug city. I got you. Cole, don't worry about it. We'll bring you right back up. Landy, what's good? [0:05:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hello. Today is Monday. It's another day, another start to a week where we have lots of conjecture about what's going to happen in markets. And while everyone's talking about what's happening in markets, I'm over here making money, and you can too by participating in the crypto ecosystems and not buying trash, but instead looking at projects that are trying to build real shit that has value on chains where you can stake and earn and get some money for your money because we're building wealth out here, baby. And most of the rich chasing wannabe kiddos are out here giving us all the money to help build us our wealth. So I encourage, go out into the Solana trenches, go out into the Ethereum trenches, and trench away. Don't worry about that liquidity. It'll be in safe hands. [0:06:27] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Please have your wife slap you upside the head. Thank you. [0:06:30] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Will I get my floor mopped? [0:06:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: Will I [0:06:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: get my floor mopped? Are you [0:06:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: mopping floors? Mopping some floors right now. [0:06:37] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yes. I'm mopping a floor. A literal floor. [0:06:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: Mop to earn? [0:06:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Maybe. Mop to earn? It depends. Hey. Maybe if you launch the token, maybe somebody come over, mop your floor. You give them a list of little token, like, a little aloe. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, you never know. It's like, hey, man. You're into this crypto stuff? They're like, what's that? It's like, I can give you these shiny, shiny, nonexistent token that [0:06:59] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Magic Internet coin money. [0:07:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. They're gonna be like, is it like Bitcoin? You'd be like, sort of, but you gotta mop the floor first. They're gonna [0:07:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: be Proof of work. [0:07:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Hey. Listen. Mop to earn. Yo. I told... You gotta... You guys gotta hear it. I told my I told my family yesterday because we had, like, a little barbecue thing here. I told them about puff paws and puff to earn, and they were like, what? I'm like, yeah. Exactly. That's the thing. They were like, you gotta quit the vape. I'm like, I know. I know. I know. I was like, but, you know, eventually, this could get me paid with puff to earn. And they were like, puff to earn? The hell is that? And I told them, was like, I'm gonna be like one of those, like, little Asian guys, like, in the factory, in the little puff factory. Like, you know, they they take, like, a 100,000 puffs a day? Mama be rich as hell. I might be dead. Mama be rich as shit. Cool. What's good? [0:07:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. What's up, guys? Happy Monday. Happy New week. Yeah, man. We've got... We have to earn that those that those sniff sniff to earn last year from. So you sniff on any civil, you get rewarded. So we've had a lot of metas come in the past couple of years, man. But happy Monday... Dave, what's up? Landy, what's up, Empress? How you guys doing? Sunny d, what's going on? I got meta beast. Let's go, man. Ready for sure. Let's do it. I [0:08:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: had no idea that snitched to earn. That was a thing. I didn't even know that. First of all, you said snitched [0:08:17] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: to earn. [0:08:18] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. That happened when it lays zero eggs up last year, man. The the team, they they put out a bounty. So if you if you could track down symbols on chain and you report them, you get, like, a, like, a bunch of tokens. Right? Yeah. Oh, and that was real, bro. Last year. I wish you [0:08:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: would've told me. I would've totally snitched on you, Cole, because I know you got, like, 42,000 wallets, bro. Like, I would've made that like a bandit. Holy cow. Fuck. Right. Now [0:08:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: now you know why I'm anonymous. [0:08:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now you know why... And the puppet makes all the sense in the world now. Anyways, what about Philly sister from another mister? If I had a wife, she would slap me upside the head for saying that one too. But, Emp, what's good? [0:09:06] Moni @monitalan: Oh my god. I keep slapping coming. [0:09:11] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Fives, are you with Dave? And are you abusing him? Because I would like to have picture evidence, please. Thank you. Only of the abuse. Nothing else. I'm not a I'm not a cock. I'm not into the other thing. Anyway, side note, you mentioned the running man. It reminded me of this thing. I'll be very quick, but I just have to tell you. Portland... Or a lot of people don't know Oregon was the only state in the states where it was illegal to be black. We didn't even have slaves here. So there's a very small minority population. I watched several... My sister, believe it or not, the white lesbian cop chick can sea walk. And she... Because she went to school at Manhattan University, she was a baller. So I was watching videos, and my rather ditzy white friend was like, what's it? What are they doing? I'm like, oh, they're sea walking. So we proceed to go to a bar, and in true racist fashion, she walks up to the only black man, probably within many, many miles, and says, do you know how to seal walk? If anybody's wondering, I got up, left my drink, and went out to the car. Did not return. Refused to return. I don't know what happened after that, but I left. Yep. [0:10:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did she come out one piece? [0:10:25] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Oh, of course she did. It was the mockery. I'm sure she did. I mean, what are you gonna do? A bitch said, do you know how to seal walk? Like, I can't even... I didn't know what to do after that, so I just left. I ran. [0:10:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Can you crip walk, Empress? I... Oh my. I would pay so much money to see you crip walk. That would be the highlight of my crypto crew, honestly. Those feet pics, crip walking? Oh my goodness. That would be... Oh my god. I'm gonna animate that. Oh my... Yo. Thank you for sending me down Rabbit Hole City. I have an assignment for the night. Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow on all things crypto, you will see a motherfucker crip walking. Okay? [0:11:05] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Not to be confused with seal walking. MFers Club baby seals or sappy seals, but we do not seal walk. And also, please do not walk up to every black man in the world, ask them if they know how to seal walk or play basketball. Thank you. It's a public service announcement. [0:11:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Seal walk? That's crazy work. I was like, wait a minute. I remember trying to do the dolphin. You know what I'm saying? Like, I work for a DJ co... I should probably admit that. Anyways, Sunnyv, what's up? How are you? [0:11:32] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Yo. I'm doing pretty good. It's been a great day. [0:11:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: How was your space? It was good. [0:11:40] Sunny D @dylN0chill: We had the Landy come through and break down some of the recent plays that Justin Sun has been maneuvering the space with, and it was awesome. It's cool to hear somebody besides me talking about it. And, yo, it's really bullish. And I think, the rest of the crypto space needs to needs to tune in because this shit is real. And, if we get a chance to talk about it today. [0:12:13] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Hey, Sunny d. Sunny d. Yes? [0:12:17] Moni @monitalan: Guess what? [0:12:18] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: You're fucking killing it, man. I see you grinding. That's hard work. Go you, Doug. [0:12:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Thank you. I'd still prefer the purple stuff. What's the purple stuff? Man, they're the least for the win. Oh, man. Listen. You gotta look into the fridge. You know what I'm saying? You gotta move a few things around. Sanity is not just the one that you find, like, right in front of the fridge. Like, you gotta take your time, move a couple, like, the OJ. You know mean? Move the purple stuff. And then it's like, Sunny d? Sunny d. It's like when when you find it, it's like finding a pot of gold out here. So shout out to you, Sunny d, and amazing. Thank you for jumping on the stream with me today. Yo. That webhash shit was crazy. If you guys could just... If you see what you can build with webhash, I'm gonna... I'm... That's one I'm definitely gonna slice up for sure. It was insane. It was so cool, so simple, so easy. You can take payments. No middleman. You can accept ETH directly. You could build a site now in five minutes and sell whatever freaking nonsense you want on that site. And, essentially, they pay you. It goes directly to your wallet. There's no 2%. There's no holding your money. There's no payouts once a month. None of that. It goes directly to you. It was so impressive, man. Yeah. Landy, then I'm gonna say what's up to vibes. [0:13:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Can I sell meme tokens through through this site? Can I sell tickers through this site? You can just pay me anything you want. Here's a ticker. Have fun. Don't worry. It's a [0:13:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: real launching it. [0:13:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: I swear. [0:13:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: They're launching NFT. Hey. The NFT side is is coming soon, so don't worry about it. Because I was asked, bro, you wanna hear what's crazy? I'll tell you the biggest takeaway that I had today. He was talking about how, like, obviously, like, you know, I'm gonna token gate shit. Right? Like... So, like, I I was building a separate site, but I'm now considering, you know, maybe using this as well, like, for something, like, for separate. But he's talking about tokenizing the actual Dottie site. Meaning, like, if I can get... Like, if people that are signing... If people that are coming to the site... Right? Because I'm giving these subdomains out for free. If we build up enough of an audience now, and then all of a sudden, could have to start... Because these aren't gonna be free forever for... So just so everybody knows. Like, the content that I have is insanely valuable. So people are gonna start coming to the site to start consuming that content, so they're gonna have to buy their name. Right? So it's gonna be on a site where they can purchase it. And then if I can turn that into a revenue generating site, I can tokenize the site itself. And then being the squirrel that I am, if I have another idea, I can sell 49% of that business to anybody that wants to purchase it and retain 51%, use those funds, and go start my next venture. How crazy is that, bro? Just the sheer idea and possibility. Yes. Sorry. Go ahead. [0:15:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: That... That's crazy. And, also, is this going to be content that's being tokenized? Are we tokenizing content? [0:15:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Don't you dare... I see where you're going. Don't you dare loop me in with the Zoras and the [0:15:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: rest of [0:15:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: content.... Real [0:15:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: tokenized content. [0:15:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. This is gonna be... Yeah. No. This [0:15:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: actually content. [0:15:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: My... Real content. Yes. Exactly. That people want to hear, not a post that you have to dump on somebody with. Okay? This is a real revenue generating business. How is that different? What do you mean? I might share revenue. It depends. I don't know yet. But if I... Like, that's a stipule. That's a asterisk. If I do that, then... Yeah. No. The... Me, just on principle alone, you'd have to share revenue because to me, it doesn't make any other sense. You you... You're right. It doesn't make sense unless you share revenue that is... If if I sell 49... Who the fuck... Who would buy 49% of the revenue generating business if there's no money being generated that's being brought back to the token holder? It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. [0:16:07] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Taxi. It sounds it sounds like tax stuff. It's like it... Yeah. Meh. [0:16:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Ew. Just ew. Ew. Just [0:16:15] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: ew. You... I would like to also say I might be starting my own NFT collection. I'll see if it gains any momentum. There's a sample up top. I think that might be time. [0:16:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Are you being serious? I fucking hate you. Man, come on. I hate it here. I was really excited for a hot second. I was like, this bitch, she's gonna do it. I was like, yes. Fucking unbelievable. I can't. Meh. [0:16:43] Moni @monitalan: M has gone fishing, and you took the bait. Well done. Thank you for playing. [0:16:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I know. Hello, intern. How are you vibes? What's up? [0:16:50] Moni @monitalan: Hello. Happy Monday. Hope you're having a good week so far. [0:16:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you know, summer's shining today. [0:16:59] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: The first part of my name is EMP, Emp and Vibes. I'm here for this shit. [0:17:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Emp and Vibes. It sounds like we're eating, like, empanadas and... Don't even know any woman. [0:17:11] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Why don't keep your mouth out of our business? Anyway... [0:17:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Shit. Yo. Such so... How do I how do I... I should not put up with this on my [0:17:21] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Instagram account. Dave. Everything that you do to bring us [0:17:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: together on the she's [0:17:25] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: feeding me? Love it. [0:17:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Look at this crap sandwich I just got fed. [0:17:28] Moni @monitalan: That's okay. Slap him coming. Prepare for landing. And slap. Thank you for playing. [0:17:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're ridiculous. Crazy. It's... Yeah. Anyway... Monday, bitches. Yeah. It's only Monday. Cool. Cool. Cool. Cool. We need, official sign off. I was talking with with AMP, and I I... She came up with a great idea. They were all jonesing for an all things crypto space on Friday. And I'm like, yo. Me and Cool, can we have a life, please? Like like, thank you very much. Like, we'd like to also have a life where, you know, we do [0:18:04] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: this nice music.... You like that, though. Right? Didn't I? [0:18:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was [0:18:07] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: like, we want you to have a life. [0:18:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. No. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. I'm not saying you specifically, but let me embellish a little bit. I'm Moroccan. It's what I do. Okay? Like, it makes it for a better story. I story tell. So cool. These these fuckers in the chat were [0:18:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: space. I'm like, [0:18:23] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: this Can you, Rocky? [0:18:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: With it. Yep. We're gonna lose it. Go from here. No. You guys The the [0:18:30] Moni @monitalan: very first part of that sounded really, really interesting, but I couldn't hear it from [0:18:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Are you kidding me right now? [0:18:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. You really were rocking. [0:18:39] Moni @monitalan: You were rocking. Yeah. Rugging, mate. Rugging. [0:18:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. So listen up. Cool. We need official signing off. They wanna host a Friday space, but it's not gonna be an all things crypto space. It's gonna be a less things crypto space. And I actually thought it'd be great on the promo side, because they can just get to fuck around. They get to talk about crypto shit, just be degenerates. We don't essentially have to tie our brand to it. And if they fuck around too much and become fucking assholes, we could just literally be like, I have no idea what the fuck that is. [0:19:11] Sunny D @dylN0chill: Just literally to Lamby on a Friday night. [0:19:13] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Dave's gonna come in and go, no things crypto. No things crypto. What if we fuck around too much? No things crypto. [0:19:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Fuck. Cool. What do you think? Like, less things crypto. Would we sign off on that? [0:19:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. Of of... Yo. Of course, [0:19:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: man. [0:19:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: I'm... I might not be available though, but... No. No. Of course. I mean, more [0:19:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: more shows better, man. Come on. Bro, we don't host, bro. We just get the pop up whenever we feel. [0:19:38] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, that's fine, bro. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. I'm fine with it. Now if you... You're gonna be there, I might show up some days. I might not some days, but now I'm fine with it, bro. Come on. [0:19:47] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: No. We know we're a liability, cool. And so I said, let us fuck around, but we know you guys may not pull up. So can we call it less things crypto? And then just, you know, you guys get to absolve yourself of any accountability. [0:20:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Jesus Christ. Empress, Landy, Bread, and the rest of this fucking peanut gallery. I don't know where this shit's gonna go. Anyways, let me say what's up to Coma, and then let's get into some stories. Coma, what's good, my brother? How are you? [0:20:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah, man. I'm just chilling. Work's pretty busy today. But, yeah, weekend was very interesting for me personally. Got into a You [0:20:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: got engaged? [0:20:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. Oh, no. No. No. I'm already married. But I got into a quarrel with a a big follower, apparently, with someone with a 130,000. I called him out on his bullshit, and he basically blocked me and called me a hater. And then I [0:20:40] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Name I've been saying Someone I'm else messaged [0:20:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: me later and was like, hey. This dude, like, just copies content. He, like, copied my image without even, like, crediting me. And then next thing you know, else messaged me, was like, hey. This dude is literally farming and doing giveaways on his Discord channel for him to engage with his content. So... Yeah. I mean, 130,000 followers, but he has 600 Yaps and I have a thousand. So what does that say about his account? I'll I'll just leave it at that. And, yeah, he called me a hater, which is hilarious because apparently Call me [0:21:12] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: a slam. [0:21:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: I am am balls on the [0:21:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: The only thing I could [0:21:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: do is just, you know, just be a hater and not really, like... Yeah. I'm a loser apparently. But... Yeah. Anyways, I think this is gonna get a major slash in Kaido. So I'm pretty happy. [0:21:30] Kool @koolcryptovc: Kumar, please please talk, man. You gotta... You can't just... This is alpha, man. I need I need gossip on a Monday. So, bro [0:21:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, bro. We can block this, bro. Name and Block it. Fuck it. [0:21:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Let's go. Yeah. He's blocked already, man. Great. What's his name? [0:21:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let let... That's what... [0:21:44] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, no. [0:21:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm sorry. I forgot [0:21:45] Kkoma @itskkoma: to mention the name. His name is Skyline. Let's see. I don't know what this Skyline eat? [0:21:50] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: And I know everybody. [0:21:51] Moni @monitalan: Who is that? [0:21:52] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Skyline eat. He's like a... Just a crazy farmer. This dude just copies content and then and then just repastes it on with some other stuff. But, yeah, apparently, he's on, like, 14 leaderboards, Kaido leaderboards. And you know what? Farming is farming. I... I'll just... It's... You can't attack all the farmers. But once you're on, like, my leaderboards and you're, like, number one spreading misinformation about the project and somehow still getting, like, 5,000 views, this is where I was like, okay. I'm sick of this shit. So I just called him out, and then he responded saying I was a hater. And, you know, the only only haters focus on the winners, blah blah blah blah. And I was like, dude, you're just... Your content is wrong. [0:22:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, that's [0:22:32] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: should've said you just crush a lot, question mark. [0:22:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sorry? Wait. Did did he steal an image from you? Like, what did he steal from you, Coma? Like No. He didn't steal [0:22:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: an image from me. He was just, like... He was talking about Katana and, like, how Katana, u x r p and all of these, like, variants of other tokens are available and you could earn yield right now. And I was like, dude, there's no way you can earn yield. And then all the people, all they're like, the the nut huggers are basically just like, oh my god. This is such a good opportunity. And I was like, damn. This is like so farmed. It's insane. And then I just called him out and then he blocked me, funny enough. And then I looked at his like Kaido leaderboard just to like check it out and he was on 14 other project leaderboards. And, yeah. It was pretty hilarious. But then once I posted that, so many smaller creators DM me and were like, oh my god. Like, he he does this. He copies... Like, I... You know what's crazy, Dave? Like, I think a lot of people, a lot of smaller creators, and I don't blame them for it, but they they are very afraid to, call any bigger accounts out because, you know, they they just... They might, you know, not get the support or whatever. Right? But, like, I don't give a crap. Like, I I know where I am. I still have my nine to five. Like, I have you guys. At the end of the day, it doesn't really, like, matter to me if I... I I don't even care about getting a follow-up from, like, an account, like, of that size even if they're all, like, farmed accounts. Right? So it... Yeah. And it was so funny because he said he supported me by following me, but he never commented on any of my posts. So I was like, screw this. [0:24:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: You got a thousand yaps, bro. Like, Landy just said, you literally looked at this dude and said, I'm gonna literally take... Open up my fucking pants, lay... Throw my dick on the table so you can hear it thump and be like, a thousand yaps, son. You got 610 times the amount of followers. So I don't know what you're doing. But, Koma, I will tell you this. This is the benefit of ATC because what we're gonna do now is I just looked up his account. I'm gonna make a tweet. I'm gonna retweet something. Essentially, if you're okay with [0:24:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: it Wait. Wait. Wait. Dave. Wait. What's his wall chain score? [0:24:43] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, that's good. We'll check his Ito score too. But... No. I just I just posted on the Jumbotron. Like, this was another follow-up that I was telling you about about him doing engagement for me. Like, again, I just wanted to move on from this, but, like, someone sent me this publicly, and I I totally missed it. So I just... I was like, dude, you can't be serious. Like... [0:25:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Bro. Oh, hold on one second. I'll tell you. His score is 190... This dude has a higher score than me. 195. Actually, I think m might have a higher score than he does. But here's what I say we do. What I say we do is... Oh, money... Armani's coming up. Let's go, Armani. What I say we do is re... I'm gonna I'm gonna essentially create a tweet, and then we can all just retweet this shit out. Let's see him. This is what the ATC army is for. If we roll, we ride together. Cool. Remember? Bad boys. What you want? What you want? What you gonna do? That was our opening track on our first episode of all things crypto. Okay? We ride together. We die together. So, comma, unless you're not... Unless you're opposed to it, let's put this motherfucker on the timeline. [0:25:49] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. Honestly, you don't even have to. Like, let's not give him any more attention because I I know some people within the Kaido ecosystem, whether it's the projects or themselves, they are fully aware of what this guy is doing. So if not me, then, you know, the the the gods of Kaido, what... You know, like the the project leaderboards are... They are aware. So, you know what? I did my job. You know, I just encourage everyone, like, even if you don't call them out on this, like, bullshit like I did, just don't, like, glorify them. Like, don't, like, try to be their bros. They really don't give a fuck about you. Like, they just... They're just using you for engagement at the end of the day, and you're just pumping their own bags. So, like, call them... Like, don't call them out if you're if you're too afraid, but, again, don't, like, glorify them. They're just [0:26:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: If you do Yeah. Just know that you got backup in this space right here. You got backup. Just saying. If y'all need backup Yeah. You know, when you walk out in the club and not people, like, in the... Yeah, bro. You know how, like, you fight in the club, and all of a sudden, it's, people in the... It's, four or five guys, and you're by yourself, but then you walk outside, and you got a whole squad waiting outside, and these four guys come out thinking, yeah. We're gonna fuck this dude. Oh. Oh. [0:26:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'll be like, Adrian. Adrian. [0:27:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. How you like them fucking apples? Anyway, Monty, what's up, Monica? What's going on? Welcome. [0:27:07] Moni @monitalan: Hello. I have to jump into this conversation since I think I'm the one that tag its coma to say, look. You can you can do this on Katana because I'm not... [0:27:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: She did. I woke up [0:27:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: in the [0:27:18] Kkoma @itskkoma: morning and I was like... [0:27:21] Moni @monitalan: I'm so sorry. But I have to say this. What's interesting is that Smokey was like, I don't know why this guy blocked me, but I wanna, like... I guess he had done a good... He had done some good content. And he's like, don't know why he blocked me. And the guy's like, I think you criticized me at some point. And I was like, see, Smokey? This is why he blocked it. He probably did something before that Smokey saw. Anyway, I unfollowed him. I'm not liking any of his content, and I think we all just need to unfollow these guys. Like like you said, Eskoma, they don't care about us, and [0:27:57] Moni @monitalan: they really are just trying to make money off our backs, to be honest. [0:28:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: You know what's funnier even, Monica? Like, someone from the Katana team, like, corrected him, and he was pushing back and saying that you should redo... Like, basically, it was implying that he was wrong and, like, showed some screenshot, and the dude is, like... Literally works for the So, I mean, you could just tell the ego on on this man, like, you know, these these guys get way too... I I think when accounts get too big, they get lazy, and they know that whatever they post, they're gonna get good enough views. So... Right? So the the the the amount of effort on some of these posts are so trash, like, I just don't get it. But anyway, sorry, Embrace. [0:28:41] Kool @koolcryptovc: You had [0:28:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: your hands up. [0:28:43] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Yeah. Just a couple of things. If you want to devastate an algorithm, don't only unfollow a person. Force unfollow them, stop block them. People who don't know what a stop block is, block them and then unblock them, so that makes them unfollow you, and mute their account. The mute is killer on the algo for somebody's page. It's an all... It it really fucks shit up. I do it frequently all the time. But warranted, not petty. Just people are stupid, and they're breathing, and that's annoying. Also, don't tag me in unless you want to lay entire waste, in which case, please, by all means, I will finish that while we're starting. [0:29:20] Kkoma @itskkoma: She's like, I'll burn this [0:29:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: shit to the motherfucking ground. And [0:29:24] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: the only other thing that I wanted to point out, and and this is just... This is honestly about your own account health, not you, comma, I mean, in people's account health in general. Study people who say shit like, I I I deigned to follow you, to give you support. Like, get fucked. Nobody on this app is better than anybody else. Nobody even knows for sure if they are a smart follower. Suck beside us with your nonsense. I have a lovely little tradition. I call it unfollow Friday. If somebody is too good to follow you back and they got some sort of precious ratio, check my numbers. The only reason they're a little off is because, honestly, I keep not being decided on if I'm gonna block these bots or if they are bots or not, and I'm trying to work it out, and I got circle boom coming in a thing. But I follow back unless my noddies fuck me up, and I always have, and it's not fucked up my game. This myth about, oh, your ratio's off. You're not gonna be a giant KOL. Fuck you. It's a social media app, support each other. So every Friday, I go through and unfollow anybody that didn't follow me back. K. [0:30:29] Moni @monitalan: Oh my god. I'm gonna do that unfollow Friday. [0:30:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: I got you guys. Listen. [0:31:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, these KOLs, they don't care about us, man. They don't care. Shout out Mike. Man. [0:31:14] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. They do. They care. They care. You know why they care? [0:31:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, I'm not a cult. Just remember that. Mindshare AI came out and said, [0:31:22] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I mean, I cult earlier today. [0:31:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: They they care because you have money. And when you don't have money, they don't care. [0:31:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: For a thousand yaps. Good. Cotton tables left. Justice, what's up? And then we'll go back to Mankind. [0:31:42] Justice @JusteaseXBT: Yo. What's up, everyone? Good evening. Sorry. [0:31:45] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Good [0:31:45] Justice @JusteaseXBT: good morning. Good evening, everyone, man. Whatever the time is for everyone. But this is it. On on this this old big accounts versus supposedly or allegedly small accounts, like, I like to say it. Right? I I don't know. Like, it it it it all falls back to this... I I like to call it a city construct. Right? This this thing where people people begin to think, oh, because you have a lot of Yaps, so you have a lot of smart followers, then... Oh, like, you have high ETHO score, then that means you actually make sense as a human being. No. Like, you can have all that and still be the most... We don't that version of a human being. It doesn't mean anything. And, honestly, I I I don't know of some other people, but I don't know. Like, for me, I'm not... Like, I I really don't care. Right? If I see a big account doing something that really does not make any sense, The thing is that I I I won't even have peace if I if I don't if I don't see my opinion on on it. So I don't I don't get how people are scared of, like, calling out big accounts or, like... I mean, it's not like you are going to beat them. Right? It's just you giving a kind of critic. It's not like... I mean, even these guys can't beat you. Like, there's nothing they can do to you. That that... That's just it. So I I don't get it sometimes when some people are, like, scared to call some people out, stuff like that. But this this all kind of stuff, like, the kind of thinking or, like, constructs it has created on on the timeline mean... Hopefully, we all we all get delivered, man. We all get delivered. [0:33:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Thank you, Justice. Good shit. I like those wise words. Monie, go for it. [0:33:37] Moni @monitalan: I have actually a a question for Empress that has nothing to do with this conversation. Hey. What do you think is gonna happen with Farcaster now that base app is kind of taking over? What was... I I don't know why I need to post in both. Right? If you post, I guess, in in one, it's on the other, but you get rewards only on one. It's very confusing and ultimately. Is is FarCaster going away? It's my big question. [0:34:01] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: You know, I don't have access to the base app. I'm not on the right side of the MF or Coinbase could fall. But there is a FarQuest wallet that's also independent, and then there's FarCaster. And then there was WarpCast and FarCaster. The website was still separate. So I would anticipate, because they suck, that they'll all just be there. And you can interact with them how you choose to interact with them on what interface that you wanna interact with them. And you can hope that they will mainline them on some level somehow, but here's hoping. [0:34:42] Moni @monitalan: Great. Thank you. Because because I was so active on Forecaster, I got access to the base app. So it's coming soon, I think, for everybody. [0:34:51] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Oh, it wasn't a shot at you, Monica. It's it's me being bitter about the rest of the MFers. Fuck them. Anyway, I am an MFer. [0:35:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: What the hell? What kind of what kind of SIOP is this? Landy, is this more SIOPTIX? Do you like [0:35:07] Kkoma @itskkoma: that one? I just felt it. [0:35:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: You know, I I do have to... I... The... Well, first of all, I'm launching it. [0:35:14] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: If you have the base off, I'm gonna kill you. [0:35:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: I don't know. I mean, if I did, I didn't... I don't even know how you get into it. But [0:35:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Give me that invite that comes with it. [0:35:26] Kool @koolcryptovc: I thought I'm gonna offer [0:35:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: you and $75 to interact with my content, and it should be great going forward. I know that. No. I was gonna say, like, the... These types of leaderboard systems are really easy to... You can really easily game this kind of stuff if you already have a community like that. I'm... I wouldn't be surprised if most of the top of the leaderboards are astroturfed with a few, like, really hard workers who are legitimately hard workers in the mix, but it's probably the majority of it's astroturfed. Right? Like... And and this is this is gonna be common, and and it's something very difficult to prevent. Right? Because as soon as you're... If you're a a company that's running these types of things, like, what do you do? What is the solution? Right? Like, if you have to take it on a case by case, what are the procedures, and, like, how do you go through and handle this kind of stuff when it's very clear that they're just leveraging a community to farm. Right? Like, there's... Like, what do you do? What's the solution? Because you're damned... You're kinda damned if you do, damned if you don't. Right? [0:36:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Kinda. Yeah. I don't know. What the hell are you... Like, what do you... I don't know. [0:36:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Because I... Maybe the... Maybe they can refine metrics to see how far your reach is actually going, and if it's just the same groups over and over and over again, and then find, like, a heuristic pattern across them, maybe. Like, okay. They're clearly... I'm sure they're doing some version of that. Right? That's why they have the slashing. [0:37:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Maybe. [0:37:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: Interesting. [0:37:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, I see somebody in my comments, essentially, that's trying to farm... That's literally engagement farm. Who is this guy? Who is this? Egwen. Egwen, how you not gonna even follow the host and you're in here farming my listeners, bro? Come on, bro. Let's get smart out here. Okay? Smarten up. I love that when people, like, literally farm your... They farm your listeners. Hey, everybody. Like, I'm here. Like, so everybody that's here, like, follow me. But you ain't even following the host of the show or the cohost or the speaker. That's crazy work out here. Anyways [0:37:37] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I was just kidding. I just wanted an invite. Sorry, Landy. We won't have to be done. [0:37:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Those invites come in twos, Landy. So FBZM efforts out here. Okay? [0:37:47] Moni @monitalan: They use the magic number. Just so [0:37:49] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Did you guys see? I just hardrugged so bad. [0:37:52] Moni @monitalan: Landy said, get the [0:37:53] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: fuck out of here. I'll I'll base up if I want. [0:37:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: The funny part was I thought you just dropped from the stage when I was waffling around with my response. I was like, I actually don't know. [0:38:12] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Somebody please send me a base invitation. Okay. [0:38:15] Justice @JusteaseXBT: Go [0:38:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: ahead. Want one too, actually. [0:38:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. So there is some... There's some big news out here. Number one, we got a tornado cash store. We got a PayPal store. PayPal now is pay. You can now pay with crypto. Supports a 100 different cryptos, MetaMask, Binance. Like, that's that's a pretty big story. But before we even get there, the Tornado Cash case is now coming to a close. And I think this is a monster monster case that is gonna... You know how we always talk about precedence. Right? Like, this is a big deal. Right? So Roman Storm, essentially, the tornado cash founder is literally down to, like, closing arguments, and this dude is like, yo, man. Like, we need donations. So if anybody here... Like, if you can afford to obviously donate to this dude's cause, I would highly recommend doing so because this is gonna set an ugly precedent. I don't even know where the... Where where it stands, but here's the TLDR. Right? So closing arguments set for this week, tornado cash developer Roman Storm posted an, quote, urgent call for support on July 26 saying legal bills are mounting fast and asking the crypto community to chip in. The free Roman Storm campaign raised about 3,200,000 of a $5,000,000 goal so far, And the prosecutors are alleging the US government claims tornado cash laundered over $1,000,000,000. This is the developer of the tech that... And they're blaming tornado cash. It's crazy. Laundered over a billion dollars, including hundreds of millions for North Korea's Lazarus Group. Storm faces counts of money laundering, conspiracy, money laundering, and sanctions violations. A conviction could carry... This is Ross Ulbrich part two. Could carry up to forty five years in prison, though the actual term would depend on sentencing guidelines and the judge's decision and why it matters, the verdict will, quote, set a precedent for how US courts treat open source developers whose code can be used for illicit mixing, putting crypto privacy tools squarely in the legal spotlight. If they lose this case, that is not a good thing for privacy. That's not a good thing for crypto. I mean, look. We've made tons of... We've made epic strides. But this goes down, it's not gonna be a good look because you can't be convicting the fucking devs of a fucking... Of tornado cash saying that they're the ones facilitating the money laundering. Like, oh, you you helped launder. What? That's literally, like, saying, like, oh, we sold the car, and somebody went on a freaking, like, murder spree with, like, your Toyota. What did you do? Oh, you... This is what you did. You felt... You... This is what... You're responsible because... Toyota's responsible because of this guy's actions. That's crazy work at the end of the day. It's a privacy focused platform. But because people are using it for that, we gotta figure out a way to get around it. But cool. What do you make of this, man? Like, big big precedents in this... In these closing arguments coming up, man. [0:40:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. That's pretty crazy. I I thought the case is over. I mean, I was I was I was wrong, man. I didn't realize they were... They had gone this far. Yeah. I I agree with you, man. I... This is the downside of the crypto industry industry not having a strong... Or they do now. Right? I wish they did, like, ten years ago or five years ago. We do have a strong lobbying group. Because if we did, this kind of case will happen. You know I mean? And I think this this is this is just what's... I just hope this stuff does play out the way it should because it makes no sense. You cannot... The funny thing is I guarantee you back in the day, they probably tried to sue car companies for car accidents. Right? And, of course, they have a massive lobbying group in The US to help shape the rules and regulations. Right? I don't know, man. We'll see how it plays out, though. This this is pretty scary. Like, you you create a tech. People use it for something bad, and they blame you for it. Right? You can't... Like, for example, like I said before, lobbying groups, Facebook and Meta or Facebook, Meta, Instagram, Twitter, they're not liable for, you know, any tweaks we make or any post we make. And... But what... Unfortunately, these companies have strong lobbying groups that protect them from being sued. Unfortunately, crypto people, we don't have that right now. I mean, I I... Like I said, it's it's it's an industry that's new, and this is just part of the growing pains, man. And I don't know... I don't trust the governments, man, and lawyers, and judges, bro. We've seen so much corruption on all sides, and I don't know. I don't know. I I I don't know. And I think he... He's he's he's Russian. Right? The... Yeah. Yeah. And and that's the... And that's another thing too that that's playing a role in this, man. And he's a mess. I'm not gonna lie to you. He's a mess. I think he... If he was American, things might be better be... Because of the whole Trump in... You know, Trump, you know, Trump trying to help the industry or whatever whatever. But him being Russian, man, does not help to see the situation. I'm not gonna lie to you. Because right now, it's just... It's a very tricky situation, man. Being being pro Russia in in The US is is very... Is it... Look, guys. We're a weird weird place in this country right now, man. Because I I don't even know... The government hates Russia, but Russian people are good. Right? I... I'm I'm assuming. Right? But, unfortunately, him being Russian does not help, man. Doesn't help. [0:43:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It's... My my fault. I I don't wanna misspeak. It's Kazakh... He was born in Kazakhstan. That's essentially where... Yeah. He's Kazakh born, but, I mean, you know how it's it's essentially looked upon. He was born... Sorry. Excuse me. He was born in the Soviet Union, grew up in Russia, but now is is technically a naturalized US citizen. [0:43:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: But that's what I'm saying, though. The Russia... Because I I remember very, very well where there were rumors of him asking Putin to to help with this case, like like like, when he first got arrested. I so I I do remember the the the Russia connection there. But, Landy, please go ahead, mate. Go ahead and ask some more some more takes on this. [0:43:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: Now you know why Satoshi Nakamoto remained anonymous. You think that they wouldn't have tried to go after him when when Bitcoin was the criminals coin being used on the dark web? I mean, yeah, this is this is why anonymous development teams for... Especially when you start getting into the privacy sector are needed. Yeah. You don't wanna be the known developer. You just wanna build the tech. Let the... Put it out there. Let everybody jam on it. If it works, it gets adopted. And this is because at any point, it can be weaponized against you because... Especially when it comes to privacy tech. That is that is the the the big one. Because if you can hide from the governments of the world, they will want to find who created and facilitated that. And I hope that he beats the case because, you know, it's... It makes no sense. Being responsible for for building the tech is not culpability or responsibility for those using the tech, and and this is pretty standard. So I think it would be very difficult for them to convict him, but it it would be... I think you said it correctly. It'd be precedent setting. If they did, that's that's that should be scary for anyone because now that... That's even beyond crypto, by the way. Because if you're... There's some sort of liability, which you already have a ton of liability when you're doing anything anyway, and now you add this to it. So I'm responsible for everything that that anyone using the... It's like, you know, if AOL had to be responsible for, you know, the emails that people were sending, right, they wouldn't be a damn company anymore. There would be nothing left. And, well, I I understand the lobbying angle. I think that that it's... This is still leftover politics. Right? Because when was he arrested? So it's last year. Right? [0:45:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Think it was longer than that. I think it was two... Almost two... Almost a year and a half, two years ago. [0:46:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's 2025. My brain. Yeah. Oh, no. It's Monday. It's Monday, everyone. Yeah. So I wonder... You know, I mean, it's gonna be up to the jury. Right? And that's... Would I... That's where I'd wanna know what district it's in because that would be pretty interesting. But I I should probably go do the research on it, but it's not... It's gonna be an important one to watch because that would probably send shock waves. And, an appeals case would win if he was convicted because that's bullshit right there. [0:46:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, it was '20... 08/23/2023. He was arrested in good old Washington state. I gotta love Washington state. So much amazing stuff coming on Washington state. [0:46:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Mhmm. Yeah. [0:46:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Coma, anything you wanna chime in on this one? [0:46:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. This is, like, a very slippery slope in my opinion. Like, I understand the car reference, but, like, I guess someone can argue, like, it's like you make, I don't know, some type of currency or moneymaker. And, you know, anyone can use it, but, you know, if you're trying to, like, forge or, like, basically copy the the US dollar, then you you obviously go to jail and maybe... You know, there are probably rules and restrictions behind that. But as a software developer myself, like, you know, open source has always been, like, the, like, the heart of being able to, like, innovate and, like, share technology. So, like, I'm not a fan of this at all. And I just I just hope that... Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. Like, I just hope that, you know, good... Like, it all... It gets resolved one, one way or the other... Or not one way or the other, but I hope it resolves in a in a in a positive for him because, yeah, it is really unfortunate. [0:47:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, I feel like even if he gets... I mean, does president Trump not pardon this guy even if he gets convicted? Or maybe they go... Maybe they convict him just to set the precedent. I don't know, man. To be perfect. I guess it depends on the judge. And then, like, they really go lenient on, like, the sentencing guidelines where it's like, he doesn't go, but it's like, just want... Because let's be honest. Like, maybe sometimes they just want the precedent. Right? Like, just to be like, okay. This can obviously set the stage so that people don't fuck around anymore. Right? It's almost like, let's make an example of this. We don't need to make an example of the guy, but ultimately, it's like, you could potentially go to jail for forty five years. I don't know. But, Landy, it's the Southern District Court of New York, by the way. So that's gonna be interesting. [0:48:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: SDN, why are you kidding me? Well, you know, I... If they convict him and after all of the bullshit with all the prosecutors out of SDNY, with all of the more recent high profile cases that they just dropped the ball on consistently, If they can fake Tim, this is a straight up attack on on developers in cryptocurrencies and developers of any privacy protocol specifically. And that that would be scary. Yeah. Fuck, man. Really? Jesus. [0:49:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Monica, anything you wanna chime in on, or are you good? [0:49:05] Moni @monitalan: You know what the sad part is is that our legislatures don't understand technology because this is where legislation should be written to protect developers. But they... I mean, I was just at a conference with legislators last last week, and it's just... I was shocked at how little they know. I shouldn't be shocked, but we have so much work to to do. And by the way, there was nobody from the crypto industry there. It was actually pretty disappointing. Sad. [0:49:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: That is fucking sad. Goddamn. I just did a search. I told GPT to check Polymarket and see what are the odds that he gets convicted, and to and to search Polymarket to see if there's, like, an... Or call sheet just to see if there's some sort of, like, an odd line, but doesn't... They're they're not seeming to find one, which is super interesting, not on Polymarket, not on Kalshi, but I guess we'll see what the fuck happens. But that's... Yeah. Big big... Who is mute people? Damn, Landy. Why you gotta hate on... I never... Wait. Why are you blaming me? I'm not [0:50:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: even in the app. [0:50:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: I had to switch over. I know it was cool. I know it was cool because cool made a face. So I figured, let me just blame you real quick. Yeah. It's gonna be... So... Yeah. So definitely gonna be interesting to watch this whole thing play out for sure for sure. Okay. Let's let's talk about the... What's it called? The the PayPal story. So PayPal story ultimately reads like so. Hold on. Let me just pull it up. PayPal's pay with crypto supports a 100 cryptos, MetaMask, Binance, and more. So PayPal launched a payment method that allows US merchants to transact in more than a 100 cryptocurrencies through some of the largest crypto wallets with fees reduced, listen to this, by up to 90 PayPal claims. Yeah. Fees... Well, what are the fee... Where do the fees start at? 15%. We reduced them 90%, so now you're only paying 4% in fee. This is crazy work out here sometimes. According to the press release, pay with crypto will become available to US merchant in the coming weeks. You know why this is happening? They see what Base is doing. They saw what Shopify was doing, and they want to be the first ones to move out here to be able to do this. They wanna be first mover. Right? It says PayWiscrypto will support several major wallets with more to come. These wallets include Coinbase, OKX, Binance, Kraken, Phantom, MetaMask, Exodus. If I had to guess, that's probably 70% of the wallet, 75% of... Or maybe even 80% of the wallet market right there. And they said the transaction rate of point... I love this one. Not 1%, but 0.99% says the new solution decreases transaction cost by up to 90% compared to international credit card processing. Here's why I don't fucking trust PayPal. And now mind you, I use PayPal, and I actually used crypto pay... Like, PayPal crypto services as well. Here's why I don't trust PayPal. Do y'all remember a year and a half ago, the whole story with PayPal where they were just up and changing their terms of service, where they literally put in a small little fine print, then they ended up just locking people's money up for months at a time. Small businesses that were literally on life support, and they were just like, who gives a fuck? And it was only until they were called... This is why I think the platforms that we have are so fucking important is because you need to make noise in a public setting in order to affect change like this. I was just reading a story about this. You guys remember when the whole thing happened with Elon and Apple where Apple was just like, oh, you know what? We're gonna fucking take Twitter off of the App Store. And Elon was like, oh, yeah? I'm just gonna call you the fuck out to the 600,000,000 people on x that I just ran... That I just purchased so that you can then answer to them if you're not gonna answer to me. And it's sad that this is how it has to go, but this is how it has to go. Look. I'm gonna ask you guys. Cool. I know we've been like, yeah. This is great integration, web three. Cool. But, like, do we like this right now, like, with PayPal? Or, like, where like, where where are you standing on this right now? [0:53:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So it's it's a necessary evil, bro. It's just the way the game is played. Web two is becoming Web three, and then Web three becoming Web two is all gonna be a blend, and it's happening just the way it is. It's it's it's what web two people are used to, and it's... It... They bring in their their... The way they operate web three. So I'm not I'm not surprised at all. This isn't... This is not surprising. But I do agree with you. I do remember PayPal. They they actually... I think it was them that they they they said something about they will close your account if you tweet something wrong or something that... Something crazy like that, I think, if I recall. That it'll... They would delete your account if you make some nasty or negative tweets. Just crazy stuff. But, yeah, man, it... It's it's just the game, bro. Like, you you... We can't stop them from coming, man. They... They've they've seen money here, and they... They're... They have to come make make... They want their share. That's why these companies, they can't help it, man. They... It it feels like crypto is just... It's it's it's so strange. It's a very small market when when you compare it to the financial market overall, but they see the potential. The potential is why they want they want to to to secure their place now because they they see this tech is superior to what they have. But, bro, we can't... They... We can't stop people from coming in here, man. I mean, this is what it is, but I do agree with you. I... It's the way it's toward. I like the fact that they... You know, mass mass adoption is happening at at a smaller scale now, but we have to we have to accept the the the downside of it, which is a centralized platform controlling, you know, crypto accounts, and it could shut you down any second if they want to. It's just the game, bro. [0:54:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. And and Lord writes literally, and I pinned this to the top. He wrote, PayPal have locked so many accounts to the point that as an African, you can't receive or send money on PayPal, especially Nigerians. PayPal can't be trusted at all. They will implement their Web two craziness right here. Yo. That's wild. Yeah. Monica, go for it. [0:55:11] Moni @monitalan: Well, I remember sending somebody, a $100 on PayPal, and they held the money for twenty one days so they could confirm his his identity. So it was like, yes. No. So now we... I sent him crypto. Here's the thing. The the other part that people forget is that all these small businesses, merchants don't understand crypto. So who's educating them on how to accept crypto, how to do the transition? I actually did a post about that. Look. I think as much onboarding as we can get, that's great. But I just don't... I think the way PayPal is doing it, plus I'm I'm with you. I have a hard time with what they're doing. Also, that they're gonna be promoting their their own stablecoin. They launched it. Right? And it's growing, so I'm assuming that's what they want people to use. [0:55:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Every time I need to put money to PayPal, like, if it's from Coinbase or wherever, I literally go p y u s d on Solana, swap... Like, send it over. Because PayPal, like, even... You got the... On Solana, like, they're, like, they're notorious for just holding and waiting. We're confirming your transaction on the blockchain. Meanwhile, I'm looking. It says click on to see the explorer. Meanwhile, it's, like, ten minutes, and it's like, bro, I just sent this Solana transaction. It's been ten minutes. It says success after thirty seconds, not even. What are we talking about out here? Yeah. Landy, go. [0:56:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, as somebody that has no more PayPal account, right around the same time that my personal checking accounts were shut down some years ago, my PayPal account, was shut down. So I can't even get back into PayPal, like, any legit way. And this is, you know, reinforced the... A version for myself and for me when I recommend that others, you know, that wanna get in that are newer, do not go to any of those platforms to transacting crypto or even interact with them or send... I'm sorry. Receive anything to those platforms if they do have them. But I still... Even with that said, this was inevitable, and it is a kind of necessary evil for the growth of the ecosystems because they're they're they're gonna have competition. You know? Like like Monica just said, they have their PYUSD like you were just talking about. Right? So, you know, they they now have to compete with all of the big issuers that are coming on chain now. And they're they're here. They're already poking around, and they're gonna be making announcements soon. And that's both from the private and public sector, from the banking sector to every kind of institution you can possibly think of. They're evaluating where they wanna actually roll these things out, you know, on... Be quite frank, they're they're probably gonna go with... Follow, JPMorgan's lead and probably go base for most of the larger players. It's gonna be the smaller players, the private companies and issuers that are gonna be, I think, more interesting and probably a lot more nimble and innovative where, you know, PayPal wants to get ahead and get market share because they've been losing market share to crypto for a long time now. And they need to do something, but they have the infrastructure. They have the contracts. They have, you know, merchants. They've got everything right there for the taking, and they know if they don't start to really push now, they're gonna get left behind to become irrelevant. Especially when you think about... And I know nobody's talking about it anymore, but x payments is still coming. Like, they're working, and it's gonna be here. And if you think for one second, Elon knows this market. He knows this market better than most of people at PayPal because they took it over and fucked it all up. So he knows what to do and what not to do. And not saying that it would be, you know, that there's no censorship or anything like that, but that's a big market participant that could easily overtake and integrate with integrate with with retail very, very easily. So... [0:59:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: You wanna hear this one, Mandy? You ready for this? This is this is this is the kicker for me. This is what I find incredibly, like, interesting. Because they take over a 100 different cryptos, I'm curious. I'm like, which cryptos? They even take meme coins. You ready? Like, you can check... You can pay at checkout with meme coins on PayPal. Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Pepe, Trumpcoin, and ladies and gentlemen, my fucking favorite, Fartcoin. Okay? You can check out of PayPal with Fartcoin. Let... I don't even know where to go with. [0:59:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: We don't live in real...... [0:59:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: That sink in... We're in [0:59:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: the matrix. We don't live in a real... This is not real. We are we are in the matrix. [1:00:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. [1:00:02] Landy @CryptoLandy: You need to unplug, and you're gonna find out that... Well, outside of the matrix, they also use FarCoin. But that's not the point. The point is that we we don't live in reality. This is all in our imaginations. Enjoy it. [1:00:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's wild. Like, those are confirmed. These are the alluded ones, and they're waiting for the definitive list. Okay? The the rest of them, bonk, with, not, pop cat, and more is what you're gonna be able to check out with. Essentially, like, anything that has liquidity pools, cool. Like, we're gonna be able to accept it. I just find it so funny because that is such the complete other side. Literally, the complete opposite end of the fucking spectrum from where we were with PayPal. And it's like the Jamie Dimon thing that we talk about all the time. It's like, fud, fud, fud, fud until, oh, man. I guess it's here. Alright. Cool. Yeah. We'll take your shit ass meme coins. [1:00:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: This this is the the Trump effect, bro. This is Donald Trump effect. If Trump was being elected, all this stuff would never ever happen, bro. Never. [1:01:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. You are right, Cole, when you are right. You are right, my [1:01:07] Landy @CryptoLandy: friend. You are merchant and see if they take my fucking whiff and my fart coin real quick. That's all I got, man. I'm fully invested. I'm out of Fiat. Fuck Fiat. Yo. You take FarCoin in here? Yo. Hold me. This this smoke shop. [1:01:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: I need I need to get my vape. Hold on. [1:01:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hey. You did you take FarCoin here? No. No, man. We whiff only. Like, come on. [1:01:31] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Come on. God for Trump. He's done so many great things. [1:01:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, come on. Don't don't... Hey. Markets are at all time highs. [1:01:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. The jokes write themselves number one, and fartcoin and whiff? Come on. Somebody make something with that and throw PayPal in there? Alright. Let me just write a note to myself. I'm gonna create... Go on Suno and write a song about fartcoin and whiff song. [1:01:56] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Why are you trying to get a whiff of that fart coin? It's bullshit. [1:01:59] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yo. Yo. Yo. Whiff of that fart coin. Yo. [1:02:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: You gotta whiff of that fart coin. [1:02:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's a motherfucker. Welcome to the party. This emperor, help this man. Help this [1:02:14] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: puppy. I just enjoyed the fact that he was a little slow on the uptake there. The little... No. [1:02:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: I love it. I love it. Slow. Yes. I'm slow. I'm old. Listen. My legs [1:02:23] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: are shallow. Wielder. [1:02:25] Landy @CryptoLandy: At a play... At a play place. [1:02:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: I would listen. Okay? For those that think that jumping on a trampoline and dunking on a 10 foot hoop is easy, It is not. Okay? I'm like, oh, I got this shit. Number one, by the time I got airborne, I'm like, oh my god. If I land the wrong way, it it literally... As I'm staring at the sign that says, don't fall on your head or neck. And I'm like [1:02:46] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: You couldn't knock. I'm concerned. It was your dream, wasn't it? You had to dunk one time. [1:02:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hey. Hey. It like, Dave? [1:02:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: At [1:02:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: eight What's it like? Please tell [1:02:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: me what you like [1:02:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: to dunk about football. [1:02:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Years old at 17 years old with the right ball, I could literally... That I could palm, bro, I could put it down. [1:03:05] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Oh, that junior court.... Prettiest [1:03:07] Moni @monitalan: thing. That's what she said. [1:03:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Chill... Yo. Chill... Yo. Chill out. Okay? I was able to definitely dunk that ball. [1:03:14] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I can palm a woman's [1:03:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: basketball. You got jokes. You got jokes. No. [1:03:20] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I'm I'm I'm dead serious. I can palm a woman's basketball. [1:03:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Congratulations. It's half the size of a men's basketball. So, like, get up off me. So can I [1:03:27] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Categorically, I I I don't even math, and your math is [1:03:30] Justice @JusteaseXBT: wrong? It's fast. [1:03:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Woah. Woah. Your math is wrong. Whatever. Alright. Listen up. Consensus in Aave. Listen to this. I saw some crazy photos in the timeline where people were like, fuck Aave. The fuck has Aave done for us when they came here? Now they're offering us yield and done. It's like, alright. Chill. Chill. Chill. And then, by the way, we also got some USDH news. But one click yield on USDC, USDT. Apparently, DAI is still a thing, which... Is anybody trading DAI anymore? I know MakerDAO is obviously still pumping it out, but, like, I just... I don't know. But new stablecoin earn tablets, MetaMask users deposit, those three stables, USDC, USDT, and DAI, straight into Aave lending pools without leaving the wallet. That's a big deal. So, essentially, how this works is funds are routed directly to the Aave market. User received the interest bearing, like, a token, right, the derivative, a USDC, while MetaMask handles all the gas signing, everything under the hood, no DeFi, UI, bridging, yada yada required. We talk about hide the wires all the fucking time. Listen. We give MetaMask enough shit as is, but this is progress. Right? Like, cool. This is essentially what we were just talking about. MetaMask has a 100,000,000 global users. Let that let that sink in for a second. A 100,000,000, probably more at this point, like, users. What Abe is doing now is they're securing almost 50,000,000,000 in TVL, giving every single wallet holder the easy, low friction path to passive yield. We talk about passive income all the time. You hear SONYD talk about it all the freaking time. Who doesn't want this? Who doesn't want this? And then you take that passive yield, and guess what? Where does that tie into? What did they just release? The MetaMask card. Right? Remember this? You got a whopping 1% USDC. Right? We're more back. But either way, I still think it's a great thing. I like it. So a USDC keeps earning you money and earning you yield until you tap to pay. Right? So it's... I don't wanna... I don't know if we can categorize this as, quote, flywheel, but this essentially turns your stablecoin interest into, essentially, like, real money that you can genuinely spend. So I think it's something to definitely pay attention to, they being the big DeFi behemoth in the entire space, but I don't know. I thought this was a good one. Guys, anything on this one? You guys wanna chime in? [1:05:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. I know, like, we're yield and create wealth and build wealth, but what's the ticker? Is there a ticker to this? Can I buy the ticker? Is it gonna go up a thousand percent? No. It's... No. This is actually super... This is this is stuff... Like, it it piggybacks off of what Sunny... Like, you're... You know, know, as an elite space host, you called out Sunny for for putting this out there earlier in his space. And it's right. You know, if you wanna actually have your money work for you, this is a good way to do it. And the only thing I question about MetaMask usage is how many of those are just dead wallets? Right? Like, what is the percentage? Is there is there a way to get the percentage for that? Like, because there's probably tons and tons and tons of, like, just orphan wallets out there and dead wallets that haven't processed a transaction in years. So... And I know that they're they're... Because there's other wallets that are cannibalizing this, but, I mean, that is a really useful feature. Hopefully, they can pull people back into it. They have been making improvements to it. And this kind of thing is... This is kind of the perfect vector to do it. Right? Like, is to actually have it, you know, like you said, hide the wires. Right? You don't wanna have to worry about what's going on in the back end. You just wanna earn and fucking use it. And that's that's brilliant. It's the way that we should be doing all of it. In fact, it'd be really great if every protocol that had a yield mechanism and a yield bearing token that you get in return for staking, if you could have liquidity and start to use that token because then you could earn yield and use it in in trading pools and, you know, and start running flywheels that way. That would be really cool too. I don't know if... Do you have anything to say about that? [1:07:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hold that thought for a second because I wanna get to this one real quick before we get to the USDA Trimmedica shit. So check this out. I thought this... Because I... And I generally wanna hear what you guys have to say about this. So you guys obviously know who Ray Dalio is. Right? Like, Ray Dalio is literally, like, one of the smartest fucking investors, like, in in existence in our time. Oh, my fault. Meditation, you had your hand up earlier. I didn't know if you wanna... Did you wanna chime in on that last story before I go to this story? Welcome. [1:08:11] Voice D: Thank you, Dev. I hope I'm loud and clear. I wanted to chime in regarding, actually, from from PayPal and Stablecoins. [1:08:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Please go for it, my bro. [1:08:24] Voice D: So I see a lot of crypto guys very much excited about decentralization and and privacy. I think load m crypto in the comments say that PayPal is looking to be tracking addresses of of of of users. What what what I would like to tell the community or the crypto community in general that, at least in my part of the world, we... I don't think decentralization and privacy is something that is fancied so much. We just want things that work, and most of the crypto guys will benefit from actually people that are underbanked. Underbanked in the sense that if I could paint a picture for you, every dollar that I own before USDT and Tron, I used to pay 10¢ more. In other words, if I own $10, it means I paid an extra dollar in hidden fees, like transfer fees, account maintenance fees, and forex spreads. So that means I was underbanked effectively. If I own a $100, $10 have been used in... I could own 110. But with crypto, the game changes. That means I own a dollar at the same rate that Dev does, at the same rate that Sunnyd does. And that means as long as it works, I don't care if you're tracking me. I mean, what... I I was getting the same service in a bank, but now I'm getting it, and I'm getting it cheaper. So I'm happy that PayPal is onboarding people because once they get on chain and they get to experience what they've has experienced that you can trans... I can transfer dollars across the world in a short time at a very low cost, then PayPal will only have been an on ramp for me. It will have opened my eyes. I don't think PayPal is about to stop benefiting off the spreads and charges because that's how they built their empire. They they are... They're enjoying their last days. So they can enjoy their spreads for the newbies. But once the newbies get the experience that Dave has gotten, they're definitely not coming back. So, yeah, I I thought I should... I I I should share that on stablecoins, and I look forward to that news from Ray Dario because I've literally been consuming his books. Yeah. Thank you, Dave. [1:11:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Amazing. Meditation. Great stuff. I love the other side of the coin. Fantastic take, man. I absolutely love that. Great stuff, man. Thank you for sharing that. That was incredible. Yeah. Really good stuff. Yeah. Justice, go for it. [1:11:44] Justice @JusteaseXBT: Yep. So... Yeah. That that was a great take. Jesus. I don't know. Meditations, bro. That was that was a a great take, but but this is the thing. There is something we disregard a lot in crypto, ethics. If if the the the tech is good, like, in fact, the tech being good depends on who is behind the tech. Right? If the the person behind the tech, if the person's intentions is not for good, the tech can't be good. Like, it it would just be good tech used for evil, like, used to used to perpetuate maximum effective evil. So as much as what people is doing is good to some point. Right? I mean, like, yeah, basic basic... Looking at it on, like, from a very basic perspective that, oh, okay. Web two people can finally use crypto and all of that and then get some list. But the the the... Like, when you look deeper into it, it's not it's not a very, like, it's it's not a very nice... You don't get something nice that you digest. Like, the... There's there's not a very nice perspective. Be I... I understand that, okay, it it is a kind of sacrifice crypto has to make, like, to lose that decentralization to to get to get introduced to the world. Right? To the old world is a kind of sacrifice crypto has to make. But then I, like, I'm... I I I just wish there's another way all of these things can happen without, like... I mean, all of this old battle was, like like, like, against against centralization. Right? Removing... Taking power away from decentralized government and just being the being the the person that dictates who sees your money and how you get access to your money and and and and all of that. That was... That's the old back vision of old... This old crypto thing. Right? But the fact that we are now... It's now... It's the government we were running from that we are all going back to, that we're all relying on to make things effective is is is kind of sad. Right? So I I mean I mean, this... When I when I think about this thing, it just gives me mixed feelings, but there is no way. Like, there's just no way these guys have actual intentions, like, intentions of, oh, mass adoption. They're they're going to do some kind of messiah... I don't know. Messiah moves on the world to use crypto. No. Absolutely no. Yeah. It works. Like, for the basic person, that's what's... That's the perspective you can get. But, like, when you you think about it on a much more intricate view, bro. Like, the the the things you would get is is not is not... You won't get a very nice vision on... Honestly speaking. So I I still I still don't believe, like... Except if the person behind it's... Behind the old PayPal system or the old system general is like Jesus or something. Like, I don't... I just... I don't trust people, man. I really don't trust, especially, like, these governments governments of a thing. Right? If if they if they were truly that, like, generous nature, why the fuck then are they are they in governments? Right? Everybody could have just sat down in the house and let things let things be the way they are. So... Yeah. I mean, every... Everything is just everyone's perspective. May god save us all. That's just it. [1:15:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. May god save... She said, god save us all. As if it's like the doomed scroll. But, you know, Justice, those are great points also. And Lord writes... Essentially coming back and said, why would I go through the stress of sending through PayPal and my transaction can be halted, and then I could just use my... As opposed to just using my normal wallet address to send the same person, and then the person can withdraw using what we know is reputable off ramps, like Binance, Bybit, and the rest. So, yeah, it's true. It's it's true. It... There's two sides of the coin. I get what Meditation was saying. I get what Lord Reince is saying, and Justice is like, listen. God, come down and save us at the end of the day. It's what we need. Good shit. Thank you, Justice. Alright. Let's let's let's tap the Ray Dalio story because I like... I really... I want you guys to weigh in on this because I think the Ray Dalio story is is a big one. Right? So Ray Dalio is obviously one of the, like, one of the best investors probably of our time out here. Right? Like, you know, second... Like, in line next to the Bill Ackman, the Warren Buffets, you know, the Charlie Munger's and so on. Here's what he's saying. Ray Dalio is saying allocate a fifth... About 15% of your net worth into Bitcoin in very plain English. Right? Here's why. US spends about 7,000,000,000,000 a year, but only takes in about 5,000,000,000,000. So it obviously has to issue 12,000,000,000,000 of fresh debt over the next twelve months. Right? Now federal debt already sits at a 125% of what our our our our gross domestic product is of GDP. The interest on that alone is a trillion dollars a year, which is crazy. That's half the deficit. So what Dalio is now calling, like, what he's call... He's calling this the point the point of no return. Right? So he went on the podcast and essentially said park 15% in, quote, hard money, meaning Bitcoin and or gold. I think a lot of people are gonna heed this advice. And, essentially, what you wanna do, you know, we call it shmuck insurance. This is what he's saying. You wanna hedge. What he implies is the... Without a doubt, the incoming devaluation of a ton of different currencies with the US dollar right there. Meaning, like, you guys remember the nineteen thirties, like like like, 2029, the nineteen seventies during these currency crunches. He says this is absolutely inevitable. He's saying to avoid this right now in your portfolio, The US would need to slash the deficit from seven and a half percent to 3% of GDP via massive spending cuts and tax hikes, which in this kind of environment, I don't think that's genuinely going to happen. Trump is literally yelling and potentially firing Jerome Powell, cut rates, And then people are gonna... He's talking about, like, tax hikes? I don't know. But Dalio is saying he expects all major fiats to erode together as central banks opt for, quote, coordinated debasement rather than one off devaluation. The dollar has already lost 96% of its buying power since 1913. I didn't even know that's how serious it was. 96% since 1913. Bitcoin's at 119, almost 120,000. They say a breakout, Lainby, you can tell us here. Could target a 135 to a 155,000. The TLDR is what Dalio is saying, and this is a dude who is not a maxi. Okay? He says a sixth... About a sixth of your portfolio, right, of your stack should either sit in Bitcoin and or gold because fiat math ain't mathing. It's broken, and the debasement clock is motherfucking ticking. Guys, cool. Weigh in on this, and then we'll go landing around the horn on this one. [1:18:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I mean, this is one one of the biggest reason why we like crypto while we while we're here is to help protect our money, protect our family from the the devaluation of the currency. But gold is what the old g's just used years ago. Right? I mean, all this time, gold, gold, then there comes crypto, here comes Bitcoin. But if you guys don't understand what all this stuff is inflation, it's very, very simple. [1:19:17] Voice D: All you gotta all you gotta [1:19:18] Kool @koolcryptovc: do is I'm looking at right now. I'm looking at a computer right now. Basically, the average cost of a home in America was in in 1980, was $68,000. Right now, the average cost of home right now, depending on where you are location wise, we're saying, okay. I'll just speak for myself. I've lived in a couple of places. So in California, I think average cost of home in in California average is between 800 k to 900 k on average. In in Virginia, DC, I used to live there. I live in Cali Zoo. Now we're talking about 600 to $700 for small house small house. Okay? In Houston, where where where I live right now, I think it used to be... Now the cost of home between $506,100. House... Houses used to cost 68 k back then. Okay? Our parents made good money. They used send the... Their... You know, us to school, but, you know... And the dad who work, mom will stay home, and they lived a nice life, man. They've sent us to to to school. We went on trips, had nice cars. We want income. You can't do that now. It's not... It's what the government has... Have done... Have have have been doing. They've destroyed the currency so much that if you if you can't rely on a single person income anymore, if you don't have... Especially especially the people that live outside The US, they get it 10, 1,000 times worse than we do here in The US. They... Because they they... Their currency is... It's even worse, man. Oh my god. If you live in a country outside The US, outside the the guys in in in Dubai or Qatar or UK, and you don't have access to to the dollar, you are done. You're you're you're you're done for. I'm I'm just being honest, man. Right? Because your your inflation is destroying every single hard work you're doing. That's why we we we love crypto. That's why we're here because you have a lot of people in the overseas. Right? They're making money in their currency, and they convert it to... Or or they they they make dollars. Right? You... Your... You you get paid in USDC or whatever or whatever crypto crypto you do, and you convert it to to Bitcoin or crypto or or ETH or Solana right on your phone. But, yeah, man, this inflation stuff is no joke, man. And it's going to get much, much worse because governments... When when... A lot of countries are not producing anything anymore, and the the... It's the only way only way for them to to to to buy things is to print money. And that that printing money is what devalues the currency. And if you don't... If you I've been saying before a long time, it gets the families into crypto, man, trying to get them here because the next twenty years, the average cost of a home in The US is gonna be probably one point two, one point three, one point five million. Cars back then twenty years ago were cost about maybe 10, maybe $5 for a car. Now average cost of car in The US for for a Honda Civic. Now BMW, Honda Civic is going for $35.42 grand. That used to cost 10 k. Why your salary? Your salary is going up by 2%, 1%, and inflation's up up. We're talking about 100%, man, within fifteen, twenty years. So crypto is the way for me, I mean, for a lot of people too. So I... I'm just happy I'm here, and I'm happy you guys are here. You guys have to understand. It's not just all about, oh, airdrop. Air... Airdrop. You're making that money converting into into... Either you're making yield or you put into Bitcoin, man, because you just don't you just don't wanna get wrecked by inflation. It is horrible out there. If you learn what's happened within the last fifty, sixty years, I'm I'm afraid. I'm I'm I'm afraid for my kids, man. I'm not gonna lie to I'm afraid for them because they're gonna be the one to suffer when that time comes. So I don't wanna keep rambling because this this topic hits home hard for me because I I love stuff like this. I've studied it for for a long time, and, unfortunately, a lot of people are going to suffer, and they they are not gonna know why because inflation is is hidden. It's a hidden tax on you, mate, and you just don't see it until it's too late. [1:23:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Great takes, Cole. Great stuff. Yeah. Especially if it hits home meditation, go for it. [1:24:02] Voice D: Yes. Thanks, Dave. The person that made the analysis, Ray Dalio, is one I started reading about when I joined the crypto space, and I think he puts forward three ways in which [1:24:27] Voice D: money supply where economies are handled. And one way... Actually, one way to curb inflation out of the three is increasing productivity or producing new technologies that increase the amount of output that people make. In our times, I think a technology with that capability will... Would be artificial intelligence. If we get a boom in artificial intelligence, we get a boom in productivity from artificial intelligence, then it could help curb on inflation. So if you're not making new cool products, then that becomes a bit tricky. The second way to reduce on it would be cutting expenses, especially by governments. Since governments are the only ones licensed to print money, they will print money to spend on things they can't afford. So that one is also hard. I think we can all... We have all been firsthand witnesses of the pushback and resistance from the Department of Government Efficiency, previously headed by Elon Musk. They tried to cap down on spending, and it didn't end well. So that shows that route is also very hard to execute. That leaves governments with one option, and that is printing money. I think you guys in the crypto space call it the money printer go brew. So the money printer is is is is running. It is harder for ordinary people to realize that, and it is also easier on the politicians because as you've seen, them cutting on expenses is is is a pain. It's hard. So that means they are going to keep printing money. The other interesting fact, Dev, is in just the last six years between, COP twenty twenty and now, they say more than 60% of all dollars that have ever been made have been made in that time. You can imagine how how long the dollar has been around and the fact that in the last six years, more than 60% of all dollars that have ever been created have been made in the last six years. That's hard. It shows how much the printer is is is buzzing. And when this money is printed, he says it is one way to track its effect is in the assets themselves. There's a blog I made, I think, back in May when Bitcoin had become the fifth most valuable asset in the world. The only the only products above it were gold, Apple, NVIDIA, and Google back then. But recently, there was a big surge around Bitcoin overtaking Amazon. It had already overtaken Amazon. But in that period of one month, all those companies had added trillions to their balance sheet. NVIDIA had grown by actually 2,000,000,000,000, but it's understandable they are the only ones in the AI business that are producing chips and making cool things. But other companies like Amazon, companies like Microsoft, they had not made new products that are wallblowing, worth trillions to their to their balance sheets, but these valuations have gone up. That means that quantitative easing and money what is flowing into people who own assets. So even if you don't own digital assets like crypto, but you own stocks, real estate, it's all going up. It's just that crypto is going up in much larger proportions than any of those because unlike them, they are not minting any more Bitcoins. Some of the tokens we have also have limited supply. That means there is a lot more money chasing fewer fewer assets. So the way out is to own assets. And those that are hardcoded in math, their supplies has a hard cap in math like Bitcoin are only going to go up in parabolic measures. Yeah. Thank you. Over to you, Dave. [1:29:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Amazing. Meditation, please come back to this space, bro. Your takes are incredible, man. Super thorough. I love the information that you're giving. Like, I'm listening intently on every single word that you are literally dropping out here. That was extremely well articulated, way better than I can, my stuttering, muttering ass. So, like, really well done, man. Like, super clear... Like, for real. Please, please, please come back to this space, dude. Like, that's... You give some incredible information, dude. Thank you. I'm gonna say it. [1:29:54] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I don't care how it sounds. If you are from another country, any country, Russia, whatever else, we Americans, we're stupid, and we don't pay attention. And pay attention to how meditation takes his time and is thorough in his words and is understood because it... It's it's so valuable because we're the idiots. And so it's a gift that he's giving us. It's not his job to be that, like, catering to our stupidity, but it's so appreciated. And so if you know for a fact you have an accent, taking your time the way that meditation does and making those points very articulate is so helpful for a lot of us. [1:30:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Speak for yourself. Alright? I might be dumb, but, like... I mean, I might not be... Shit. I fucked that one up. Anyways, fuck. Landy, go for it. [1:30:43] Landy @CryptoLandy: Give me a moment to cook. First off, I I I I don't know how you missed all those Bitcoin charts of the dollar just decreasing the 96%, but that's just... That's an aside. I gotta I gotta I gotta throw that one out there. [1:30:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: I wasn't watching your your videos in the beginning. Don't forget. I just recently said it. It was, like, in the last few months. [1:31:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: I don't know. Bitcoin has been sharing those charts for a little while. But... Alright. So one of the one of the really important things to understand about why I am always a person that will tell you never to sell your Bitcoin, is is really important, and it takes just a moment for me to to go over some history here. We had... Since coming off the gold standard officially, you know, there were some peaks and then... And troughs and inflation, but we really... Once once the government decided that we were gonna come off the gold standard, we peaked in 1980 at around 14% inflation... At an inflation rate. Right? And then, you know, we we did, curtail that for many years. We're kinda going sideways through the the early, late nineties into the early two thousands. And then, of course, we had the two thousand eight financial crisis. One of the things that a lot of people, even at the time when Bitcoin was being proposed, there was arguments even on Bitcoin talk about, like, well, you know, it it... Bitcoin launched on January 3, '2 thousand nine. Right? And at the time, we were... We had just moved into the crash period. And what we actually saw was deflation. Right? Because all the money was coming out of the system, we saw deflation. And in fact, we hit, we hit a negative inflationary number, so we were going backwards. Right? In terms of, monetary systems like the one that that that has been set up here in The United States and other fiat currency systems around the world, inflation needs to be had or else it all falls apart. And one of the one of the beautiful things was, you know, there was this argument like, no. No. No. We're we're entering a deflationary deflationary crisis. There's no need for something like Bitcoin. You should be stacking cash. Like, wait. Like, it's never gonna inflate again? And one of the most beautiful parts about some of the conversations that were happening around that time period is we were... We're going to hit at the time. It was... We're going to hit in at least ten to fifteen years' time very high inflation rates. And what happened 2020 into 2021? We we peaked in inflation in 2022, '20... End of twenty one into '22 at around 9% inflation here in The United States, and that's not counting a whole bunch of shit. They massaged it off the off the sheet, and then they recategorize it so that it doesn't look like it hit the 19% that it really hit. But point being is just in 2020, I went and I was buying homes in California for, like, three... When the pandemic was going on. I was buying homes in California for, like, 300 to $350,000 because it was just easy money at that point. And I could easily... If I wanted money back, I could go to the bank and because we we had really low interest rates, you know, they had to cut all into the crash, you know, at two to two and a half percent on your money if you just wanna buy cash and pull it back out even in equity lines. And now those are massively... Those... Some of those homes are worth over $1,000,000. Right? And it was basically you put money in, grab the property, pull your money back out, and and you could, you [1:34:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: know, you could go up [1:34:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: to 90% LTV with some of those at the time because it was a panic. And literally, you're getting your money back and it all just inflated. The entire market inflated. We hit 9%. We have not come down on on prices. Even though we're seeing inflation normalize, it's because we've only just started to bridge the gap on the money side for the velocity of money from the private sector coming back in to actually make it look like we're we're in a deflationary environment again or inflation is coming down. It's just the rate of inflation is coming down. We haven't deflated at all. We're just still inflating, just not as much. And when you look at Bitcoin, well, I think that Bitcoin is so powerful and people really need to understand it and save in it. You should be treating it like a savings account. You just save it and forget about it. Why? Because people who buy and then sell Bitcoin again, they're buying and selling. So if you buy it and they're equating it to, well, I bought $15,000 worth of Bitcoin and I sold it for 20. Well, when you go back to buy that same Bitcoin that you went to spend $15,000 last year on, you're getting way less Bitcoin. [1:35:35] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Mandy, I only... I didn't have a choice today. Are you clocking my wallets that hard? [1:35:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. I [1:35:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: didn't. I [1:35:41] Landy @CryptoLandy: had no idea. But point being is that that $15,000 is not getting you as much Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin is being inflated because it is a fixed supply asset that the rest of these infinite money glitch, systems are now trying to move into. Right? So this is where if you're gonna be in these markets and you're here listening to anything that was said today on stage, one of the biggest things that I hope that people take away is no matter what your preferred coin is, no matter what your preferred network is, or what you like to trade, you should be getting into Bitcoin because there is the most desirable asset in this sector, and that is what the bigger players are gonna be moving into. And your 15, your $10.15 grand ain't gonna buy you as much Bitcoin in the future because it can be fractionalized down to Satoshis. Pretty soon, you're gonna just be able to get Satoshis. You're not gonna be able to get that whole coin. The whole coin or gang is very difficult now this cycle for people to get to, and it's only gonna become more and more difficult. And don't let the allure of other things. That means go and trade those other things. Hold those other things, but save in Bitcoin. Because if you're saving in Bitcoin, you are securing. That is your hedge. When Sailor is talking about these things, glad he's a convert. Good for him. He flipped on a dime in 2020. Good for him. Because he did it at just the right time too to save his company, save his ass, and save his net worth, and etch himself into the anal hole of history. So in this case, get your ass in it, save in it, and make sure that anything that you're doing is perpetuating the goal of securing your future and your family's future. And ain't no shitcoin gonna do it. And if you're gonna stay in it and ride or die for the community, you get in, you get out, you save. And then if you wanna get back in when you got a little bit more, do it. Find those yield loops that Sunny was talking about earlier, that Dave and I talk about in Hermetica spaces and sometimes here. Earn for your idle cash and then get more Bitcoin. Trade whatever coins you want, any NFTs you want, and then take that goddamn money out. Don't be worried about what other people think. Well, I don't wanna sell. No. Sell that shit, secure your future, and get you some Bitcoin because it's only going to speed up from here. We ain't going backwards. We're we're getting adoption going forward, And that's really important, and I have to cook on that for just a moment because I had somebody who recently came to me and told me that they were gonna sell their Bitcoin. And I was like, you might be selling it now and realizing fiat gains, but you will not be able to buy that Bitcoin back for the same price in the future. It's going to... You're gonna get way less Bitcoin for your money in the future because the money is devaluing too quickly, which means the Bitcoin price is going up very, very quickly, and it will continue to do so. And unless you can accurately time the markets because you're sitting down at the charts every day like I do, then the best bet is to just go in and hold and save and accumulate, and that's it. [1:38:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Good shit, Lindy. I appreciate the context. Amazing takes from everybody all around today. Like, great, great stuff. Last thing I wanna close on, you guys know our boy, Billy Betz. It is ultimately official. Billy Betz is... I pinned it to the top, proud to announce a $1,000,000 funding round. Okay? Y'all heard us talk about hustle. You hear us talk about all these different protocols. Billy Best just got done migrating from Solana to base. I'm not saying go buy it. I'm saying open your fucking eyes and essentially... And your ears and listen and see what we're doing out here. Like, we're literally printing on hustle, it's just the beginning. Billy Betts is another one. You think Coinbase is putting in a mill... Leading around to fucking fund a a, like, a $1,000,000 for nothing? These guys are getting inquiries from some of the biggest sports books, sports agents around the world to be able to integrate this agent. And if you think this is not going to yield hella money, I'm sorry. Like, I can't help you. Do your homework on Billy Betts. Reach out to Bread. Do whatever y'all need to do, but understand where this stuff is at. This is a less than $3,000,000 market cap. We said the same shit about agent hustle months ago. The same thing. We saw it early. We spoke to the teams. They are here, and now it is official. It's Coinbase Ventures, Virtua's Ventures. Okay? Virtua's and Coinbase led this round. They're not putting money into anything out here. They see opportunity. Billy Betts was completely against the green. It wasn't some DeFi agent. It was something completely different. But the addressable market, monster. So, Brad, if you're listening, my bro, shout out to you. [1:40:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Kudos to you, my man, and the entire Billy Betts team. I'm going to pad my fucking Billy Betts bag. That is 1000% the truth. You better believe that. Because under 3 mils, I will pack a bag and sit on this and just chill and and just wait for the rest of the market to catch up. Yeah, Lindsey. [1:41:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hey, Dave. I'm I'm... Billy Betts was under 3 mil, you know, before the migration. It is... It's at 5 mil now. [1:41:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, fuck my life. I literally said, Brad, do we anticipate a pump literally on the Sunday reset yesterday? And he was like, I don't know, bro. I don't know. And I'm like, bro. [1:41:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: He doesn't. It's a $4,900,000 market cap. And... Yeah. So I I was buying right up until they closed the migration I was buying yesterday. I was like, you know what? I love I love me some BC bread. I love me some Billy Betts. We have NFL season beginning very soon. This only makes sense. And they're literally just getting started. And, obviously, the chart's gonna move around. You know, as you as you as you move, like, liquidity over and you're and you're getting your new pools built and shit like it, you're gonna see it move around. But the fact of the matter is just like the Asian hustle team, there's there's a good team. Right? And it's Brad and his team and what these guys are building is real shit. It ain't fucking fairy dust, and it actually works. Like, you can go and use it. Like, 9% of the fucking vaporware you'd go to try to use it, it didn't exist. It was always coming soon. Well, guess what? These guys are building real shit out here, products that you can go and use, and all I gotta do is log in with the token and go, I wonder if I wanna lose money on some bets because I suck at betting. Maybe maybe maybe instead of me betting, I can have Billy bet for me. And you know what? The breakdowns and stuff, I'm I'm looking at it like, it's gonna be injuryless and shit. I'm like, wait. Who? I don't even know who these people are, but this is amazing. And and this is this is stuff that is gonna become ubiquitous because these are the innovative technologies that are going to be adopted by the mainstream. Right? You're gonna go somewhere, and you're gonna ask a Billy Betz, hey. What's going on for these games today? And a Billy Betz is going to tell you what's going on. I I would imagine... No. I don't know anything. I would imagine you're gonna see this everywhere, especially when you got the types of backers that are just doing the first rounds. Like, are you kidding me? Oh, yeah. You know, no big deal. Just Coinbase going and throwing and leaving the round. You know? No big deal. You know? It's it's... Who knows? Right? You know, it could... You know, I I mean, it's not like they're a... This small little little podunk VC venture. Right? You know? Coinbase, you know, the one that's custodying literally every single asset backing all of the ETFs. Right? Then, you know, just billions and billions and billions and billions and billions of dollars that they're shifting around on a daily basis for the APs or the Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. But, you know, might wanna get in on this and don't message me that, hey. Why didn't you tell me about Billy when you've been in the space? And I've seen you in the space. I'm looking at at least two people that messaged me. You don't miss it like you did agent hustle and then be like, why didn't you guys say anything about... They would... Adam's been here, like, every fucking week. So get on it and have some fun. [1:44:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And and I'll tell you all this too. I'm gonna leave you all with a funny story, and I know Cool Guy's tap in. Cool's already on his livestream. I'll tell you all this. I saw something extremely funny on Adam's page yesterday where he literally posted a TikTok for... This this is the level of what we're dealing with. Okay? So don't tell me that we're not light years ahead of the game. He literally posted a video on TikTok of an Australian streamer, right, being like, hey, man. We're gonna try and put some fucking... Make some money here. We're gonna take $2. We're gonna put it in... We're gonna copy trade, and we're gonna put it into this and this and this. And I'm like, alright. So I watched the guy, watched the video. He opens up the copy trade app, literally looks HUSL is the number one holding for the top trader on the app. Okay? He scrolls down, and he's like, we're gonna do trust. Trust. This looks like a good one. But $2 in trust. Bro, trust was a closed position. He copy traded the guy that literally was the top leader on a closed position. This is who people... These are the influencers that these protocols are paying money to. Okay? Don't tell me that our time is not coming. I don't wanna fucking hear it. But, anyways, I gotta jump. 07:15. Guys, go check out CoolStream. He's already live. Cool. Landy, appreciate you. Emp, MetaBeast, Justice, Meditation, incredible stuff, man. Thank you so much so much for coming through. Monica, and everybody down there. Yo. I started minting. Matasco, get back to me in the DMs, bro. I I literally... I have... Like, I'm gonna post the OpenSea link in the comments here also, and I'm gonna post them to my timeline. Gaga, same for you. I have yours. Vibes, I think I'm actually might have sent yours. I'm not sure. Chroma, just minted yours. DeFi dictator, Dev, Jess. Like, I'm starting to... Anybody that's new here, I'm literally minting these subdomain NFTs for you guys to have exclusive content, access to the content that we're gonna be putting out. So if you want one, they're not gonna be free forever. I'm telling you right fucking now. I'm telling you from now, they're not gonna be free forever. So highly recommend you guys get on top of this. Crypto cowboy, I minted one for you as well. Max, Perry, I got you guys. I think crucifix, I already sent you yours. Calm cool collective. Let me know what you guys need. Right? Paul, one for you ASAP, light snack. All you guys, man, like, hit me up. Felix, I think I I sent you yours already, clairvoyant. I minted one for you just now as well. Guys, hit me up and let me know. I want to drive value for you. Look back today on the stream that we did earlier. It's incredible what you can do in terms of building sites, being able to tokenize, token gate. You can literally start accepting payments. Fuck Stripe. Every single dollar goes direct to you, fully decentralized. These dudes are literally... You can even run nodes. Landy, you missed this. You missed out on this. You need to go back and watch it. You can run nodes for web hash, right, and start storing fucking people's different data and eventually start getting paid, essentially, when the hash token is gonna drop eventually in the future too. So, guys, this is what I mean. We bring you serious alpha. Serious, serious alpha. And I hate that word, but it's true. [1:47:36] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: I got blood on my hands, but there's no remorse. I got blood on my dick because I fucked a corpse. [1:47:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is that like a let's go fucking thing? Yeah. [1:47:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Told you to stay out of the Solana trenches. Jesus Christ. [1:47:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't know. Let's go. We lost her. She might be gone. Might be gone forever for all we know. [1:47:57] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Kid is doing chores, and the kid is bumping DMX, and I am just a proud mom. I don't know what to tell you. [1:48:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Doing chores and he's bumping DMX. You gotta love it. I love also when I get in environment. She goes, you know I'm insane. Right? I'm like, yeah. And, duh. Like, I'm like, I'm [1:48:14] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: like, like to Dave today. I said, you know I'm insane, and I just left it there. [1:48:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Duh. Like, join the club, take a number, get to the back of the fucking line. What do you mean? Good shit, everybody. And, yo, shout out Metavision, who might be me. We don't know. If you guys know, I have no idea. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. We don't know. So I guess we've [1:48:36] 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈⋮ @Hope_ology: Can we...
