The space opened with a detailed recap of a major Wall Street move into crypto: former Barclays CEO Bob Diamond and partner David launching Hyperliquid Strategies, a nearly $900 million publicly listed company whose sole purpose is to acquire and hold HYPE tokens tied to the Hyperliquid exchange. Speakers highlighted the exchangeโ€™s revenue generation, token buyback mechanism, and ambitious vision to become a trading venue for crypto, pre-IPO stocks, and more, with one prediction that it could one day surpass Nasdaq. The conversation then shifted to current market conditions, with Fear & Greed at 44, Bitcoin retesting $114k, and ongoing Fed uncertainty ahead of Jackson Hole. Hosts and guests emphasized embracing volatility, the importance of liquidity, TradFi convergence, yield strategies, and long-term conviction while stressing that real retail has not yet returned. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:00:14] Voice L: What happens when Wall Street royalty decides to, dive head first into the world of crypto? Mhmm. And we're not talking about just, you know, buying some Bitcoin. Right. We're talking about launching a nearly billion dollar company to buy up a single crypto token.
[0:00:30] Voice F: That's the story of Hyperliquid Strategies.
[0:00:33] Voice J: Okay.
[0:00:34] Voice F: In a recent discussion, we heard from its leaders, Bob Diamond, that's the former CEO of the global banking giant, Barclays, and his partner, David.
[0:00:43] Voice L: Wow. Barclays.
[0:00:44] Voice F: And they're bridging the gap between traditional finance and the crypto frontier, and their first target is a token called HYPE.
[0:00:51] Voice L: So let's let's break this down. First, what exactly is this new company?
[0:00:56] Voice F: Think of it as a a special purpose company that will be listed on a US stock exchange. Okay. Its one and only mission is to buy and hold hype tokens.
[0:01:08] Voice L: Right. Just one focus.
[0:01:09] Voice F: They're launching with a war chest of almost $900,000,000. Wow. About $300,000,000 of that is cash they'll use to buy hype, and and the rest is actually hype tokens that big investors are rolling directly into the company.
[0:01:27] Voice L: And the core problem they're solving is is access. Right? Yes. They pointed out that for the average US investor, buying the hype token is almost impossible right now. It is. This company makes it as simple as buying a share
[0:01:40] Voice F: of Apple or Tesla. Exactly. But the billion dollar question is, why hype? Why this one token?
[0:01:48] Voice L: Yeah. Why them?
[0:01:49] Voice F: Well, Bob and David said they've looked at dozens of crypto projects over the years, and this is the first one that truly grabbed them. The reason? Yeah. It's a business, not just a token.
[0:02:03] Voice L: Okay. Explain that. What's the business?
[0:02:05] Voice F: The hype token is tied to the Hyperliquid Exchange, a crypto trading platform that is, in their words, a cash flow machine.
[0:02:14] Voice L: A cash flow machine. Wow.
[0:02:16] Voice F: It's generating a huge amount of revenue. And here's the magic trick.
[0:02:20] Samara @thee_samara: Okay.
[0:02:20] Voice F: The exchange uses the vast majority of that revenue to constantly buy back its own hype tokens from the open market.
[0:02:28] Voice L: So it's like a high growth tech company that uses all its profits to do stock buybacks Exactly. Which pushes up the value for everyone who holds the stock.
[0:02:37] Voice F: That's the perfect analogy, and it's why these seasoned Wall Street investors are so excited.
[0:02:42] Voice L: Right.
[0:02:43] Voice Q: They used a phrase you rarely hear in the space, a value investment.
[0:02:48] Voice L: A value investment in crypto?
[0:02:50] Voice F: They see hype as undervalued relative to the cash it's generating, but they're also betting on explosive future growth.
[0:02:59] Voice L: Right. Right. They didn't just talk about today. No. They mentioned the potential for the Hyperliquid platform to become a trading venue for everything. I mean, from crypto to pre IPO stocks.
[0:03:09] Voice F: It's wild.
[0:03:10] Voice L: They even shared an investor's wild prediction that Hyperliquid could one day be, quote, bigger than Nasdaq.
[0:03:16] Voice F: It's a huge ambition. Huge. And their strategy for managing the public company is just as smart.
[0:03:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay.
[0:03:23] Voice F: If their stock becomes popular and trades at a premium over the hype it holds, they'll just sell more shares to buy more hype.
[0:03:30] Voice L: And if the stock is unpopular and trades at, say, a discount?
[0:03:33] Voice F: Well, they have the option to do the opposite. Sell a little hype to buy back their own undervalued shares. Right. They called it a heads we win, tails we win scenario. Wow. In either case, the goal is to make each share more valuable over the long term. It's a very disciplined fiduciary minded approach.
[0:03:54] Voice L: It's really a landmark moment. It is. You have the ultimate insiders from the old world of finance, not just endorsing, but building a bridge to the new world of digital assets. A huge bridge. They're putting serious capital and their reputations on the line.
[0:04:10] Voice F: It shows a deep conviction that this isn't just some fleeting trend. Yeah. It believes the technology behind projects like Hyperliquid is, and this is their word, transformational for the future of finance.
[0:04:24] Voice L: It's a powerful signal to the rest of the market.
[0:04:26] Voice Q: Mhmm.
[0:04:26] Voice L: You have the fusion of traditional financial discipline with the explosive innovation of crypto happening right now, and hyper liquid strategies is one of its biggest examples yet.
[0:04:36] Voice F: Now here's a question we'd like you to think about.
[0:04:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay.
[0:04:41] Voice F: As these bridges between traditional finance and crypto get bigger and stronger, will crypto start to behave more like the stock market? Or will the stock market start to look more like crypto?
[0:05:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: And, Brisk, I owe you a serious holy fuck because that fucking space was insane. Wow. Like 200. Yo. I'm sorry. It was crazy. It was it was absolutely nuts. I mean, listening to, like, former heads of, like, the biggest banks on Wall Street talk about how they see this thing and why they literally went out and put in and raised almost 900,000,000 from some of, like, the biggest names on Wall Street and now still have a $300,000,000, like, kitty to just kind of mess around with and haven't touched yet is something really, really impressive. And, like, I wanna break this down. Like, we should... Like, we need to do a whole space on this and pretty much end of story is because I think there is a massive opportunity here that I think we're all sleeping on.
[0:05:52] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: No fucking way. Who would have thought? Oh
[0:05:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: my goodness. We started wrong.
[0:05:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's be
[0:05:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: hard. The
[0:06:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: m pawn's a
[0:06:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: good job.
[0:06:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: It is what it is. It happened. Yeah. What's
[0:06:05] Voice Q: up?
[0:06:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Listen. Like, m... Seriously, like, the the... This was really, really, really good stuff. I I don't even know, like, where to start on this, but, I mean, we we we can honestly, Empress, I really think this needs to... We need we need our own... We need a space, like, separate from ATC just for this. For real.
[0:06:25] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Again, I've been saying... Alright. Landy. Landy. Get him.
[0:06:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: Hi. Hi. Hey, Dave. I don't know if you know this, but Empress has been on the hype train for a little while. And and she forced me into checking out everything on hype. And much to my chagrin, I got there, and I was like, oh, I I... I'm home. I know some of these these tactics. I understand what's going on here. And, yeah, you want a trad fi chain, like, here you go. This is the most trad fi you can get. Now, obviously, whenever we're talking about these types of subjects, very, very bullish news, very, very exciting things, but it's about the long tail at the end of the day. And just to understand what you're getting into, ride those coattails while you can and and and see where things go.
[0:07:21] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: No. No. No. You're giving me the same thing that that somebody else gave to me, and I I just wanna be clear here. I don't care how CPTSD everybody is running around in this bitch whatever else. I don't care about the NSA. We all need to be careful whatever else. People can't acknowledge if people can't acknowledge that the more and more trad fi reputable players in the, quote, unquote, real world outside of our bubble that are cosigning this chain, lend it to a far better narrative of hold on to your fucking chair and pray you don't get rugged, then then y'all are crazy because every time this happens, I unclench a little bit. Then trust me. I'm plenty clenched.
[0:08:11] NatNat @Natnatx007: I unclench I one second, Andy.
[0:08:14] Voice Q: Go ahead. Go
[0:08:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: For the new individuals, in layman terms, like, dumb it down a little bit. What is going on? Or or is HyperFi... Do they have funding? Hyperliquid.
[0:08:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: So so... Yeah. So, essentially, what we just listened to, like, the space and and the recap that I just played is essentially, like, the the the treasury asset company that essentially raised money to essentially buy and put Hyperliquid into its treasury. Right?
[0:08:44] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: Oh, that's huge.
[0:08:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And and these are these... And that... These are not, like, no name guys. Right? Like, this is Bob Diamond, like, literally, like, the former, like, Barclays CEO. One of the the guy David was a former partner over at Flowers. I mean... And even the guy that was hosting, the guy Kaizen, I didn't know who kaizen.hl was, but he was obviously a big wig, you know, like, analyst in the in the investment banking and private equity world. And then you had the guy Monk who's a a Masari guy. So, like, these were, like, the gigabrains of gigabrains out here really, like, putting us on as to, like, why would somebody go out and spend $900,000,000 to essentially put Hyperliquid into their treasury, and how the hell does this whole thing work? And, Brett, no. It was not Tony Soprano sitting in the back of a room smoking a cigar, literally. You know? This this was... This is as alpha as alpha gets in my opinion, and I think we definitely all need to start paying attention for real.
[0:09:39] Voice Q: Do you
[0:09:39] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: do you understand the figures? $888,000,000 treasury, 65% of that is already in hype assets, which everybody kinda was like, well, then it's not that big. Listen. I don't know about y'all, but when I got assets that are locked up and are being allocated to a treasury and not being traded because they're locked up, that is just as as as comforting to me as if they bought 888 out the rip. And the rest of the 65 per... The 35% that is going with that will be end of q four. They'll put 300,000,000 into buying actual hype. So I think that that every time one of these rolls out, that we are lending credibility to the chain and and pulling away from the potential of the FTX Luna narrative. And that's the piece that I like. I don't keep a rat's ass about the rest of it.
[0:10:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. Monica, what's up?
[0:10:38] Moni @monitalan: Hello. Hello. I have a question about... So what you're playing though was Google's...
[0:10:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: I was playing the recap from Jen's bar from the transcript from the space.
[0:10:50] Moni @monitalan: Okay. But you played it... You put it on notebook?
[0:10:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nope. It was via Genspark. So I created a whole website for it. I can share the website if you guys want it as well.
[0:10:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. Got
[0:10:59] Moni @monitalan: it. Pretty cool. But that's not my question. What do you think Empress of Project x? Do you know Project x?
[0:11:08] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Mandy, I wanna go back to the the other money con... Conversation. She asked me about Project x, Mandy. I wanna talk about...
[0:11:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: You can go back to the other conversation.
[0:11:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay.
[0:11:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: What is project? I I don't even know what that is.
[0:11:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. No. Don't worry about it. Not fair enough. Yeah.
[0:11:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sounds like I should know
[0:11:27] Voice Q: about it.
[0:11:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, here... You're right. But I I just wanna push back a little bit on Empress for just a moment, TradFi people, know how to work a system better than anyone you've ever met in crypto. So understand that what I'm saying is enjoy the ride. Understand that I want everyone to win and enjoy the ride. You can ride the coattails of the bigger players in the way that they are moving and how they're moving. Right? And this is a very big, exciting thing, and I think that it does a lot of good for Hyperliquid. And this is kind of the path that they set up. Right? And understand who some of these players are that are connected to the validators. Validators, validators, validators. You don't put a ton of money into something unless you have a stake in the network, and you definitely wanna have a stake in the network. And that is very important to understand, and these players absolutely do. And look. There's a lot of big big names. Like, I I... As soon as I saw the names, I was like, oh, hey. That looks interesting. I'm gonna go back and listen for myself. But... Yeah. I mean, there's exciting stuff happening over there. And, you know, between the few things that we've talked about in the past couple of spaces here related to Hyperliquid, When you when you build out a chain that is focused on liquidity, literally called Hyperliquid, when you focus the entire chain on liquidity and you build a premier decentralized exchange on top of that that facilitates the rest of the ecosystem, you're gonna get outcomes like this where the bigger players are going to start getting involved if they weren't already involved. And that is where, I think, you know, this is how we're gonna see a lot of this go into the future. There will be competition, but guess what? That competition is so far behind right now that they're gonna be playing catch up with what Hyperliquid's been doing. And I think it's a... I... I'm... I'm on the network. I've trade on it now. I've been putting more into the decks. I've been trading on it. So, yeah, there's there's a lot outside of that too in terms of, like, all of the various things that that we've talked about here in regards to how they are facilitating yield on the network, which... You know me, I am a yield maxi. I'm all about value loops. Like, I literally... I think the first time I ever really talked to you, Dave, I was talking about value loops, in between screaming about Bitcoin. So that's where, you know, that's where the money's at right now. And when you're a company, especially a treasury company, you have to have a yield strategy that can that can insulate you and continue to earn you, revenue to put on the books to either buy more or to get cash or whatever it is without having to go and and get into the debt equity conversation. Right? Like, obviously, there's going to be some from the main investors, but you you don't have to immediately run to that. And that's where I think the beauty lies within what they're building over there.
[0:14:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: And I and I wanna be clear with everybody so that we could maybe even dumb it down, like, a little bit more. Right? Because, like, for myself as well. Right? Like, it's like... I I have to really kinda go through kinda, like, the different steps. But just so everybody, like, understands what this is. Right? They talked about something called the HIP three protocol. Okay? The HIP three protocol is essentially... Allows literally anybody, like, to permissionly launch, like, any type of, like, market. Right? Like, specifically, like, what they have now, you'll see, like, perpetuals futures market. Right? And this is built on Hyperliquids infrastructure. Alright? And the way in which the AI describes this, think about it as, like, the AWS of derivative trading. Now here's the key, though, and this is what is really eye opening and I think what people need to understand. In order to do this, right, you need to... Like, if you wanna launch some tour of financial infrastructure, you actually need to lock up 1,000,000 hype tokens. So you have to stake them as, like, a security bond. Right? That's about $40,000,000. So right then and there, if you wanna build something, that's $40,000,000 that you then have... And a million hype that you take out of circulation, right, to be able to now stake to it, like, to build. What can you actually build? So what can you actually build? You build an S and P five hundred. You build foreign exchanges. You build commodities markets. You build custom indices. You can do all of these different things. And the specific one that Bob mentioned on here, he was like, I would have loved to see Circle trading at pre I... Like, being able to, like, trade pre IPO and see price discovery for Circle before it actually, went went to IPO, which is not wrong. Right? Like, that would have been a monster in this actual market. Right? So when you look at this, what this HIP three protocol does and what these guys are building and the infrastructure they're putting in is you're not just investing in, like, oh, let me buy the hype token. It's some crypto spec play. Like, they said this could be bigger than Nasdaq because now you're putting the infrastructure in. This thing is already generating $1,500,000,000 a year. That is now big enough to attract a lot of players coming over here to say, you know what? I really need... Need to take a hard look at this because now we got these big ass names, right, like David and Bob that are building over here. What are they building, and how can this actually work? And I think it's gonna attract a lot of people. And when you deploy something, guess what? That comes with fees. Fees, fees, fees, and more fees. Anyone that deploys one of these things, if you lock up a million of these tokens, you're essentially getting 50% of the fees, and the rest of it flows to the protocol, which we know obviously is going to buy back hype token. So everything out here is signaling, like, this is hella bullish. Look. I'm not trying to, like, pump everybody up and be like, oh my god. Run out and go buy hype now. No. Do the homework because it wasn't until today that empress banging literally, like, me bang... Like, banging her head against the wall and my head against the wall and saying, pay attention. Did I actually figure out, like, let me just give a shit and actually go in here and listen to what these guys are saying and do fifteen minutes of research. Imagine what happens if I do thirty to forty five or maybe an hour, like, how we'll actually be able to find out what this can really do. So that I think is... It hopefully breaks it down for people to genuinely understand a little bit better. Soapbox rant over.
[0:18:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: There's a lot of there's a lot of people that are over there that are unannounced and are not announced making themselves known. Because, look, there's the the speculate... Because now now you do have to run into the speculative side because once these bigger players start to get involved, then speculation tends to take over, which does skew the numbers a bit. But there's a lot of players that are getting in... Heavily involved over there that I think are gonna be even more surprising going forward.
[0:18:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, in what world, Landy, did you ever think you would ever hear the term, like, the democratization of, like, finance... Of, like, the creation of, like, financial markets? What? Of, like, financial infrastructure. That just sounds completely counterintuitive when I say it out loud, but that's essentially what these guys are doing. Like, as I read it, I'm like, yeah. This makes sense to me and what these guys got. Yeah.
[0:19:03] NatNat @Natnatx007: Just for the audience, we're not saying go right now and buy the high token. Right? What we're saying, we're sharing information so that way you can do your due diligence on your own, do your own research, and make your own decision. None of this is financial advice.
[0:19:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Facts. When can we migrate migrate that fund our tokens over there?
[0:19:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, no. Talk to Adam. Adam, what the hell? When hyper liquid on migrate fund, bro? Get this dude up here.
[0:19:29] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I would like to I would like to point out as Landy is talking about people over there that we don't recognize and whatever else. In the past two weeks, my usual fountain of knowledge, Landy, for any type of information has slapped me in the face with NDAs. No. I have an NDA. No. I have an NDA. No. I have an NDA. And been completely handcuffed and pretty much useless in the capacity that he used to have. So that bodes well for others, not so much me, but I think for the ecosystem in general.
[0:20:02] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hey, Empress. Do you know the difference?
[0:20:04] Landy @CryptoLandy: This any longer with you because I have an NDA.
[0:20:07] Voice Q: Do you
[0:20:07] Bread @_ToastMalone: guys know the difference between NDAs and toilet paper?
[0:20:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, boy. Here we go.
[0:20:12] Bread @_ToastMalone: There is none. No. Yeah.
[0:20:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. You should see what some of the offers that Empress get in her DM, so I would chill out.
[0:20:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: They type Katie.
[0:20:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Better chill better relax because there is a big difference, bro. A big one. Adam, what's good?
[0:20:29] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: Man, lots of bullish news on the timeline, man. I'm out on the road right now, so I don't know how good my connection is. But for us, man, it's exciting as fuck, man. Bridges getting bit up over 100,000,000. Yeah. I saw that thing pop on the Hyperliquid. I think it was yesterday they kind of announced that that big buy in or whatever. Yeah. It's bullish all around, man, but the time line doesn't feel super bullish. You know what I mean? It's it's, like, it's the most bullish crypto's ever been ever, like, ever ever ever ever ever. Ever. X more ever ever ever ever. Like, it's it's a million times more. Ever ever. Like, a million... It... It's impossible to be a million times, but it's maybe a billion times more bullish than 21. And yet, still, it feels like, well, why isn't... Why aren't my NFTs at a $100,000? You know what I mean? It feels like it just doesn't feel like for the average, you know, person here on crypto.
[0:21:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: This
[0:21:25] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: is It doesn't have that vibe. You know?
[0:21:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Time. Like, it's this... Like, unless y'all have been deaf in the ears and have not been paying attention to anything Cool has been saying, which I have no idea where Cool is, by the way. I hope he's good. Somebody check on Cool, please. Like, what Cool has been saying is, like, when the... When you see these things lining up, these are the anomalies that you should probably be really taking a look at is when you have the feeling, and I'm with you, Adam, because I'm the same way, bro. Like, I look at it, and I'm like, there's so many different plays and opportunities. Where am I actually gonna put my funds? And if the timeline doesn't feel that way, that makes me more bullish because, like, that makes me more excited because that tells me, great. The hype isn't here. No pun intended. Like, the... Yeah. Like, the, like, the the the the timeline craziness isn't here yet, and that's what I love to see, and that gives me confidence in the decisions that I make and the plays that I make. Like... Yeah. So I'm 100 with you, bro. Fact.
[0:22:21] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: Yeah. It's like it's like trying to find... You know, it is always this type... Kind of thing. You know, this is what we talk about on space all the time. That's what we're here for. It's like finding the thing... The needle in the haystack. Right? But you see it like this... You know, why are bridges starting to sell? Like, why did that happen? I mean, why is Privy selling? Why is why is Wall Street coming in and buying up, you know, DEXs? Like, this is... It's it's pretty obvious what's happening. And when the the the thing that's... The thing is, you guys can actually know that... What... What's... Wait. What's Wall Street gonna want next? What are these big players gonna want next? And I think it's, it's great opportunity for all of us here. Problem is we just never have enough capital to really take advantage
[0:23:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: of it. You know? It feels like we're always too poor
[0:23:05] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: to take full advantage of it, but I think it's a magical time to be here, man. It feels like we're gonna have another really nice big leg up.
[0:23:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Facts. Yeah, man. Yeah, Lindy. Go for it.
[0:23:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Earlier this morning, had mentioned that if you're here in the eco... In any ecosystem and you're building a solution, just be prepared. You're gonna get tapped on the shoulder. You're gonna get funded. Just keep building. That is, like, Brett, perfect, you know, perfect perfect segue to somebody like Brett, to guys like Emblem Vault and all you guys over there, Adam. Like, if you're building solutions that are gonna solve problems for these bigger players to come in, you will be rewarded and kind. Just make sure the deal works out for you, please. That's all I I... All I care about because those deals can get up their own ass where they try to rip it away from you. And if you don't have experience with TradFi players, that's one of their favorite things to do. But the the... There's... They don't wanna build the solution. They want you to bang on it and spend all your time bootstrapping, and you figure it out. And then we'll come in and go, you know what? Let's look at all of these. Oh, this one's really good. This one's really good. Let's fund these things. And, hey, let's get involved. Now now let's, now that we've funded, let's go ahead and let's turn this into a corporation, and let's get this, you know, fully... You know, let's get some shares and then, you know, get on the board and do all this stuff. Like, this is where a lot of TradFi wants to be. They don't have the time to actually focus on it. So if you're here right now, and I said this earlier today, if you're here right now doing anything in this space, you can contribute to building in this space in one way or another. And you're early because you're creating solutions to problems that need to be solved that they are not going to expend that money to start getting that off the ground. So if you get it off the ground for them, you'll be rewarded in ways that I don't even think you can comprehend. It gets bigger and bigger and bigger because this is the tip of the iceberg. I've said this a few times. The tip of the iceberg hasn't even surfaced on the water yet. This is so massive. And and I did wanna point out one thing, Adam, though. Whenever you're hearing the most bullish news is usually when the market is is topping out locally. So, you know... Not not... Hopefully, when we get to some of this conversation, later, you know, hopefully, the market cooperates, and it's not the top. But, you know, it is one of those kind of scenarios. But, yeah, just keep hammering. Keep hammering away and stick around. Don't go anywhere. Learn as much as you possibly can right now. You have a prime opportunity. Doesn't matter if you just entered today. There is opportunity everywhere. Stick around through the tough times especially because the only path is forward. We're not going backwards.
[0:26:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, Lindy. Good stuff. Yeah. Agreed. Kryptonik, welcome. What's up, ma'am?
[0:26:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Kryptonik, you there?
[0:26:20] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Crypto Nick.
[0:26:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh. Crypto Nick. Oh, I don't know. That's one fucking word. Whatever the hell. I don't know. The hell?
[0:26:28] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: This is a voicemail for Cryptonick. I'm sorry. He's unable to come to his mic at the moment. Please leave a message.
[0:26:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey, Crypto Nick. We tried you, and we... You know, you had your hand raised. But, you know, I guess whenever you're ready and you wanna get back to us and
[0:26:45] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: Running out of space. Running out of space. Disconnected. Goodbye.
[0:26:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Stupid. My bad. Hey. Crypto Nick, we tried, bro. We tried.
[0:26:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: Five, I just saw
[0:26:55] Voice Q: that. You
[0:26:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: should've... But you should've just run beep.
[0:27:01] Samara @thee_samara: If you're happy with
[0:27:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: your recording, press 1. Be like, goddamn.
[0:27:05] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: I hate it when
[0:27:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: it cuts me off. Nah. Alright. Nat, let let let... Let's let's jump into it because, look, I'm... Fear and greed back down to 44. Ethereum with a massively hard bounce off of, like, the 4,100 level back to 43, 4,400 now. On the Trefi side, Nat, what... What's the deal with rate cuts? What's happening? What's going on? What's... What what...
[0:27:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: What's going I mean, it's been a very interesting day. We saw markets pull back. BTC bounced off that one twelve area, and it... It's retesting that one fourteen area. We've had some slight rejection, but it will be interesting to see what it does after Jackson Hole. Today, the FOMC released their minutes. They are concerned. They're they're concerned about inflation. They're concerned about the job market. I don't know. It doesn't seem like they are leaning towards a rate cut at all based on the information they put out on the the minutes that that was released today. But we still have Jackson Hole, and we still have the initial jobless claims tomorrow. So as I mentioned yesterday, we need data for the for the next three days in order for us to know what we're... Where we're headed. Right? So today, we had one one crucial piece of data, which was the FOMC minutes. Tomorrow, we need the jobless claims. And then on Friday, we need that Jackson Hole speech from Powell at 10AM, I believe. But, overall, I'm still cautiously bullish. I still need to hear... See tomorrow's information and see what Powell has to say on Friday. I believe... And Landy is in line with this take. Landy, I'll hand it over to you. What what is it you see?
[0:28:45] Landy @CryptoLandy: Look. After today's little minutes meeting and kind of the reporting coming out of it, I think there's some vested interest in in tamping expectations for a cut. And I think that we're really gonna end up finding out... Look. The guidance has already been sometime around, you know, q three into q four. So, you know, we're we're looking at that September. The market just kept on trucking. Like, it was like, oh, hey. Little dip. Here we go. We're just gonna get bought back up in lower term time frames. Obviously, I think that there is likely a little bit more for a correction is kind of needed. But, realistically, I'm watching the bond market reaction. In the bond market, we were seeing buy, right, on the secondary market. So, you know, the expectation is if you're not gonna do it, maybe we'll just make you do it. Right? And and a lot of this is also gonna depend, I think, on the tone of the speech. And the danger is right now, if they cut and demand on the short end dries up. And I think that that's also what the FOMC is afraid of. So when we're talking bonds, I know it loses everybody, but this is actually kind of a passion of mine that I've only started to express. I'm expressing myself. Thanks. But the the biggest thing here is that when you have, we have a slight inversion. That means that it's more attractive for investors to go on the short end and keep that short end demand up, which is keeping the interest rates on the short end higher than the long end or the mid curve, I should say. The long end is fine still. We can, I guess, thank percent for that providing liquidity last month? The end of last month. But the the biggest thing is is they have a balancing act between inflation and jobs. Now if we see inflation continue to rise and now jobs start to... We start to see higher unemployment. Right? This is gonna be a a rock and a hard place for the Fed, and they're gonna have to do something. Because when growth starts to slow and then you have higher inflation and you have maybe some higher unemployment numbers, which is still an after effect. Now, of course, they're talking about tariffs, and they want more clarity on tariffs. We have plenty of clarity. They've they've... They're moving the cheese, so to speak, Dow. We already have deals done with the EU and so on and so forth. There's a few deals here and there that are just kinda hanging out, but that's why the administration keeps extending because they want the Fed to see... The the Fed members to see what's going on and get a clearer picture. They're not they're not as as... You know, for as much as Trump is going after Jerome Powell, it's not this situation where they want to completely ostracize the Fed. They work with the Fed literally every week and every day, the treasury does. So this relationship is is contentious because the Fed and some of the Fed members, at least half of the board, is sitting on their hands and not doing anything. Meanwhile, we see the reverse repo just taking a nosedive, which is because there's better rates in secondary than there is through the overnight with the Fed. So this is a scenario where the market is telling the Fed, like, we're ready to go. We got liquid. You got liquid. All you gotta an an... All you gotta do is drop rates and unleash the liquidity. And the Fed's biggest fear right now is that if they do this, that inflation is gonna start to rocket back up, and they're gonna have to immediately pivot and reverse to tightening again, which would then be solely blamed on them. And they don't want to be seen as the ones that are gonna take blame. They don't ever wanna take blame for anything. So the the problem is is we we've... The way that this was managed out of the 2021 into '22 time frame to now was was too... It was too much. They were too tight on specific things, and part of that was because of the prior administration's policies. And now when you have a complete change, of course, with the policies, and this isn't an indictment on policy. This is just from the purview of the Fed. When you go from one administration that had a policy set that was very specific and they... And the Fed had to work within the confines of that, and you had the short end being sold like mad by by Yellen, and now you have a completely different set of policy objectives in a new administration, navigating and bridging that gap is very difficult for them. But we're in a very different situation than we were in 2019, 2020 time frame. The Fed has money. The banks have money. And in fact, they just took a whole bunch of their money. And they said, we're gonna park it over here. And they know that when they park it over there, they can force a few different things. They're gonna park it in treasuries, and they're parking in... They're parking it in equities because they can make more money than they can with the Fed right now. So if they drop rates, where is that demand gonna come from? Are they gonna shift back, or all of them gonna start dumping secondary? And if they start dumping secondary, then then the Fed actually does have to move into balance sheet expansion. And the Fed... It's just they're... They are after the 9% inflation stuff, they are, like, allergic to it. So it is a bit of, like, a we don't wanna take the fall for this. Our heads are on the chopping block kind of a thing. And, realistically, this was gonna happen under any administration. And now it's gonna be when do they actually pull the trigger and drop the rates? Because we're gonna need liquidity, and they're looking at this as going, well, all the twenty twenty six member banks just pulled out liquidity from reverse repos, so you don't really need the liquidity right now. If we drop rates, all we're doing is is giving, the Trump administration a lifeline to refinance debt, and we don't wanna be seen as a political actor in this case.
[0:35:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: 84%... 84.9% chance, is what the CME group is putting the September rate cut at, Nat. 84%.
[0:35:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: Let's see. Let's see. Because as Landy said, you know, the f one c minute showed, you know, they're dumbing down the expectations. So let's see. Overall, guys, it's... How do I say this? Volatility is going... We're always going to be be in a period of volatility. Right? For example, Bitcoin, it's not a straight line up. So embrace the volatility. Embrace the downside. If we go lower, you have liquidity, great. If you don't have liquidity, sit on your hands. There... There's literally no reason to panic. I was on the space earlier. Somebody said Bitcoin 10 k. I was like, if this is not the bottom, I'll be covered. Right?
[0:35:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: And then... 10 k 10 k is sat. That's what they meant. Right?
[0:35:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. No. Gonna have
[0:35:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: to go listen.
[0:35:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: The... You do have to go back and listen. It was a very interesting conversation, but you know what? I have an open mind. Nobody knows everything. Nobody can tell the future. Anything is possible. Just be... We just gotta be prepared. Right? That's why we always say embrace the volatility, have liquidity on the side if you can. If not, it's completely okay to sit on your hands. What's not okay is for us to panic. Right? Price go up, price go down. We have we have our green days. We have our red days. It's all part of it. It's all part of the volatility, and it's all part of what we what we decided to be in. Right? We decided to be in crypto. We gotta embrace the volatility. Even in stocks, we see stocks becoming a little more volatile as we go higher.
[0:36:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Dana, I have a question for you real quick. I I I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine who's very heavily involved in the track fi sector, and he said we're running Jerome Powell over with his own dump truck of money. Do you agree with this?
[0:36:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's a very interesting thing. I don't wanna say yes or no. I... I'm Switzerland to it. How about that? I'm Switzerland.
[0:37:03] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: I was putting that Latin on the spot.
[0:37:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, she... She's about to run me over with a with a chocolate.
[0:37:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yep. I'm about to run you over with a whole platano truck.
[0:37:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: A whole platano truck. Cool. Our sloth, it's... You you slow. I I mean, I get you're a sloth, but how long does it take me to get here? Man, are you okay?
[0:37:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. My my phones... My... Both phones I use for Cryptos died, man, and I was driving. I couldn't drive my phone. So it's just when you... Quick till twenty four seven, you... My batteries die. Computer dies. So I just couldn't charge it. Sorry for being late. I do like your topic, though. Definitely, I think people did get scared, but, you know, like I said yesterday, you know, I love what Natna said. You know, you have a couple options. Either you sit on your hands, you've you've done a lot of liquidity, or you're buying a dip, or you're looking for all the ways to make money here because we're not going anywhere, Greg. Anywhere... We're not going anywhere. It's... The industry is taking over. It's it's all all all over TV now. I mean, TV. But, I mean, CNBC, like the financial news network. You you see them having the tickers on on CNBC now. All good. I remember when they put they put the ticker on the... On TV on bottom right corner. For the first time, we're all celebrating now. We're all used to it. Right? And now they've added Bitcoin ticker. They've added, you know, XRP. Even EAT shows up on on TV now. So like I said, man, it's just, you know, enjoy the ups and downs, man. It's gonna be it's gonna be a.
[0:38:45] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: Was that me or him?
[0:38:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's him. I... It was cool.
[0:38:48] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: It was cool.
[0:38:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Shoot. I was like, goddamn. I was gonna ask. Cool. Yeah. That's when you know you work your phone... Like, when your phones are dying and begging you for breath and recharging, that's when you know you are, like, literally putting this to the grind. So, anyways, our resident criminal... I mean, Samara's here. Samara, what's good? What's up?
[0:39:09] Samara @thee_samara: Yo. Jim. Jim. Jim. Cool. Good job. Landy. Shout out to you guys, man. Empress. Yo. Yeah. So for. But, yeah, I'm here. Yeah. The resident criminal is here. Yo. Bring criminal... Bring criminals back to crypto. I keep saying it.
[0:39:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. We're not... No. No. No. No. We're we're not we're not doing that today tomorrow.
[0:39:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: But... Yeah.
[0:39:31] ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด๐‘ท๐“‡๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆโ‹ฎ @Hope_ology: I mean, arguably, a bunch of them just said they put their foot in the door.
[0:39:34] Voice Q: That's a real criminal. Yeah.
[0:39:36] Samara @thee_samara: I'm here. I'm here. Well, just here to have some conversations. Yeah. Currently exploring a couple of things, looking to DeFi heavily. So, yeah, man. Just scanning the timelines and also I'm here.
[0:39:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sam Samar, I do have a question for you, Samar. How's the meme coin scene? Like, I know the meme coin scene in in in Hedera, they're actually doing pretty, pretty well. One of them were up... One of them was up, like, 300%. Another one was up, like, a 150%. It's been crazy since they launched... They have their own platform of pump.fund, which is a... It's called meme jobs. I don't know if you heard of it, but the the meme coin seen on Herrera has been taken off. What's your take on what you're seeing on Solana if you're still trading the meme coins on Solana?
[0:40:19] Samara @thee_samara: Yeah. Solana, we've had a couple runners. Not really a bunch, like... I think right now isn't really the best time to go full DJ mode on Solana. I don't know. It's it's just it's just weird over there. Most of the coins are basic... They basically die after, like, they just hit, like, like, a million market cap. And before you even catch them, they're already gone. So I haven't really been DJing that much. I'm just looking into you right now and just looking for other potential platform. Like, I just deposit a little bit of stables and get, like, a potential airdrop in the future. But, yeah, meme coin season when Soul will come back again. I just want... If Soul hits, like, $2,200 or, let's say, perhaps two ten, we might see some crazy action or so on. But I'm just preparing myself. I have my bullets loaded up, just scanning, and just see what's... What... When time comes. But, yeah, right now, everyone's kind of like... Think, Hedera, I haven't really checked out, like, Hedera, but I would look into that. I know on on abstract, they're actually doing some numbers there, the memes on abstract, but I think it's, like, it's kinda, like, inside of play. Haven't really explored that much. But, yeah, my focus right now is just, like, taking a couple of trades, stacking up Solana, loading up my bull eggs for when a pump or something like... Because I think we might see that craze again with Mimecons and Solana. We might see it again. Most likely, we'll see it again. And I'm just preparing myself for that. But in the meantime, I'm just going exploring some d five protocols with Simulsoft on that end. Yeah. So that's what this is doing.
[0:41:44] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Thanks.
[0:41:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Matt, is there volume on Hideare MemeCoins? Like, what... Like, real volume?
[0:41:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: You say
[0:41:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: 300%. Is it on, like, $50,000 or, like, what are we talking about?
[0:41:52] NatNat @Natnatx007: Some have volumes, but others, we see that spike and then it dies down. But overall, it's it's been heating up. Right? It's nowhere near to, like, solanapump.com volume, but for Hidea, it's it's it's pretty good. It's it's doing pretty okay.
[0:42:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Fair enough. I don't know if you guys follow AIXBT. Yo. Somebody tried to get at me on the timeline today. Adam, you saw this motherfucking Jake. Bro, I was trying to put these boys on eight, nine months, and I love how AIXBT remembered that interaction too, bro. I was like, dude, that was, like, eight months ago. And he was like, oh, it looks like your... Like, AIXBT wasn't it. I'm like, bro, AIXBT is literally, like, the data center that powers every other agent out here. Like, what are you talking about, bro? And he was just like, hey. Point being. Point being. Yeah. He he
[0:42:40] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: was just looking at it from, like, number go down. Right? And I I tried to... I I was like, bro, it's like, of all the winners, like, AI XBT is the winner of the whole KOL AI thing. And I I mean, I know, yeah, number go down, but fucking number goes down for everything. Right? So I I don't know. You went you went off on him a little bit there, man.
[0:43:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: But because, like, the resistance that I got eight months ago when I brought them AI agents on a silver platter, what did they... They literally laughed me off the stage. And at the end of the day, alright. Look. I can only be... Like, I'm not I'm not gonna here try to convince anybody else. You know what I'm saying? Like, this... It's the bottom line. Like, I'm not... I'm I'm not gonna do it. Bread, you wanna know what I was thinking too? With the CME saying, oh, prediction markets are showing 84%. Can you imagine in just in a crazy world scenario, if Billy... If we report on something like that and then all of a sudden you're able to now open up Billy bets and actually make a prediction, make a bet on the prediction market that the CME is calling for a 80% chance for a fed rate cut? Wouldn't that be crazy, bro? Man, if only something like that were actually in existence or, like, maybe in the works. That would be wild.
[0:43:51] Bread @_ToastMalone: That would be crazy if, like, two agents could work with each other, you know, and ultimately, one agent could just spin up that prediction market, and another agent could provide liquidity and set up lines. I mean, that would be wild.
[0:44:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's even crazier if, like, the call chief founder actually liked one of my comments, right, that I was talking about this. That would be even crazy.
[0:44:13] Moni @monitalan: That would be wild.
[0:44:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: I know. Right? It would be even more nuts if we actually got TAR to come on ATC. That would be even crazier. Imagine?
[0:44:22] Bread @_ToastMalone: Could you imagine what would be even crazier than that, right, bro, is that Robinhood came out and said, oh, yeah. We're just using Kalshi on our back end for our prediction market offerings. You know? And... But they don't know what they're gonna do about sports. I wonder, you know, maybe somebody could step in and
[0:44:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: help users? Nah. For what? Nah. Well, that's that's... Nobody wants to deal with that, Brad. I don't know what the hell you're doing. Wasting your time building Billy bets, bro. Fuck.
[0:44:48] Bread @_ToastMalone: Nah. Nah.
[0:44:48] Samara @thee_samara: I'm trying
[0:44:49] Bread @_ToastMalone: to sell trying to sell btcprints.eth if the... You know, anybody that's looking wants to be, like, you know, royalty in the Bitcoin community looking at you, Andy. You know what? Just hit me up.
[0:44:58] Voice Q: It's the dot ETH. Are you kidding me?
[0:45:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Dude, I got I got enchiladasauce.eth if anybody's interested. I feel like that would... That's a banger.
[0:45:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh, man. I I predict I predict this conversation went sideways real quick with the pitching the Bitcoin or a Donnie Tetris.
[0:45:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Y'all are gonna see. And heads up. Cool. What we played at the beginning of this was a quick recap. There was a hyper liquid space for the treasury asset... The treasury asset company that acquired... That's about $888,000,000, in acquiring hype. So we gave, like, a quick recap on it and everything. So, I'm gonna put that... Like, I I literally created the whole website with Genspark in fucking... In five minutes. So I'm gonna put that out. There's two different versions, so you guys can listen to maybe two different versions of the recap. There's a five minute version and a seven minute recap as well. So, like, these are the resources that I wanna be able to provide for you guys. And who knows? Maybe me and Empress look around, and we actually get on a space on a Friday and maybe talk with some of these hyper liquid folks. Hey. You never never know. You never know. Nah. It's not gonna overlap with your time. Relax, lusting script, though. Take it easy. Alright? Chill. So protective. Anyways, yeah. Nat, in regards to your... Oh, cool. No. What I wanted to ask you, fear and greed. Week and a half ago, we reported on it. We were at, like, 86 or 88, if you remember. We're back to 44. What are we doing now? Is this like... Is this kinda like... We were talking about this right before you came, but we were like, man, this is kinda like... This is the setup. This is kinda like what we wanna see. What are you thinking here?
[0:46:30] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I think I think it's good, man. I... Actually, we didn't hit 80. I think we were at, like, low seventies or high sixties. Right now, we're in neutral. We have 40... Either we are neutral or or fear. We're we're kind of pretty close. But it's... To me, it's a good thing because if you look at, you know, the fear fear and greed at this point, ETH is still still above 4 k. Bitcoin is still above $100. So I'm not still pushing 200 at this level. So to me, it's a good thing. I think you you want the markets to cool down, man. You want leverage to come down. You want... Because this... Like I said before, we want a mature markets. We've we've seen crazy things happen over time with with these assets. And the problem with crypto trader is they're very impatient. And I think the people that are impatient are the ones that are overexposed, The ones that have too much money in crypto, and they're down. So they are just crying on the timeline. I... If you... The people that have a lot of money in Bitcoin or USDC stables or EAP, they... They're not complaining, man, because they are in in a good position. So I just think it's it's all noise, bro. It's all noise. Of course, the sentiment is, you know, kinda show... What shows what's happening. But to me, it's just... It's... To me, it's a good spot to be right now because, like I said before, fair and greed index right now is horrible. I mean, not horrible. It's it's neutral or kind of fair, and it is not about four k. Even if even if it was 3,800, that's still bullish. Even if Bitcoin was, like, 99 or 9 or 101, that's still bullish, man. But, yeah, fair and greedy index is is a short term indicator, but my favorite indicator of all, like, I I would die on this hill, is the Coinbase app, man, because, you know, we've seen this for a long time. Americans... When... Whenever Americans have money to spend, they download the Coinbase app. Once they download the Coinbase app, prices go crazy. This this is a a factual statement every single time. I've been tracking this stuff for four years now. And right now, the Claimbase app is, like, ranked three zero seven or 298. And if this is happening right now, which which means we... The real retail, not us, not crypto retail. The real retail are not here yet. To me, it just indicates that we're going a lot higher, man, because we we... These prices are... These levels with the real retail are not even here yet. When they have that money, when... That's why I I keep pushing people. If you wanna make money, a lot of money in crypto, go and look at the Robinhood assets. Robinhood is the... For people that don't... For my guys that don't live in The US, Robinhood is is a stock trading app, and they trade stocks, but they just recently got into crypto in the past year. And that company, they've gone all into crypto because I think a year and a half ago, the crypto the crypto industry saved them from going under or whatever. So they made a lot of money from from from crypto trading. They've gone all in all in. That is the gateway for the... For that retail. When... Whenever whenever people or or rugby was... Rugby word apps stop buying crypto, we're going to. That's what I can say. Like, you you need to focus on the assets on Robinhood. That's the gateway. And they keep listing more crypto. They have Chainlink now. They have, like, PayPay, and they have Peanuts also there. They have Meepcoin. Yeah. Yeah. Haze bars there. They have Chainlink, Solana. So that's the gateway for me. So the... Move from outside in, and I keep saying saying it as usual. When Americans have money to spend, they buy. And right now, they don't have the money. I see it everywhere I go, man. They don't have the money to to to to buy assets. And that's the reason why a a lot of these projects haven't pumped up the way we used to see it. They haven't gone up like we used to see it because they don't have money to buy. So, yeah, I'm just... Like I said, it it... The the fair equity index, it's it's it's the indicator I like also the client based app tracker. They're total three. The different indicators we use kinda gauge where we are right now, and that's why I'm like, yo. We're in a very good spot. They're a very good spot because at the end of the day, Bitcoin is not... Bitcoin is still above a 100 k. It's it's still above 4 k. Regard... And like I said, like, to me, bro, guys, the biggest thing for me is we've had six months. I know, guys,
[0:51:03] Kkoma @itskkoma: I know some of you
[0:51:03] Kool @koolcryptovc: might hate Trump. I know you don't like him, but at the end of the day, the past six months on the Trump administration, we've had Binance lawsuit dropped. We've had... Arthur, he just got... He's sent his... He he got he got a pardon. Like, what? Today. The Crime based lawsuit dropped. XRP dropped. Units have lawsuits. Gemini, cracking. All these things happen, right, within six months. So we have three years and six months left for us to to do something crazy here. So I'm I'm excited, bro. I'm really I'm really am.
[0:51:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sorry. Do y'all have... Okay. Great stuff, Paul. Good shit. And I think the biggest news that we have yet to talk about, do y'all know what happens tomorrow morning at 10:15AM Pacific Standard Time? Anybody? 10:15 No.
[0:51:58] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: What happens tomorrow?
[0:51:59] Voice Q: Thank you. Thank you, Vaz. I will
[0:52:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: tell you what happens tomorrow at 10:15AM Pacific Standard Time. Tomorrow
[0:52:06] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: I can't wait to hear what happens tomorrow.
[0:52:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Coinbase slips the switch in the base app, okay, where you're now going to be able to literally trade, like, tens of thousands of tokens, okay, directly on Aerodrome right within the base app. Remember this. This was monster news. People... This kinda, like, fell by the wayside. This takes hold tomorrow. So everybody that is on the base app, okay, you can then trade Billy. Yay. You can then trade every other fucking token that is out here. Adam, get your ass over to base, bro. Like, seriously, just do a little bridge action, something. You know what saying? Like, get the
[0:52:45] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: Bro, we're do a little migrating, man? Are we gonna migrate every Solana token over to base
[0:52:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: app, bro?
[0:52:51] Adam McBride @adamamcbride: We can make it happen, bro.
[0:52:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Who's ready? Who's ready, man?
[0:52:54] Voice H: Come on, bro.
[0:52:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Come on. But, yeah, this is monster... Like, you guys... I don't know if anybody's been paying attention to what Aerodrone has been doing, but it has been absolutely straight cooking over the last four or five days. Yeah. Landy, go for it, bro.
[0:53:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: Is this just through Aerodrome, or is it also through the Coinbase DeFi app?
[0:53:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: So Aerodrome is launching on the base app. So, essentially... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, essentially, you're gonna have access to... I mean, everything that trades on Aerodrone, which is a shit ton. Imagine, like, every virtuals token. So now it's not like... You don't have to wait for the Coinbase listing anymore. Right? As long as somebody genuinely knows actually how to use this stuff, granted, they're still gonna be like that, you know, ah, Coinbase listing. Great. But, like, this really, really dumbs it down for a lot of people and gives, like, a shit ton more people access when you look at how many, like, customers Coinbase has, which I don't even know what it is off the top of my head if I'm looking at it. Hold on. Let me let me see if I can find the exact number, but it's it's easily over a... You will easily have over a 100,000,000 customers for Coinbase, which is absolutely nuts. R d c chart, hopefully, you're not like Crypto Nick. What's up, bro?
[0:54:05] Voice J: Man, I just wanted to second my guy who said something about watching Robinhood and Coinbase. A couple of my cousins work for, like, the carpentry union, and I won't say I won't say some Sinaloa type shit that she married into that, but we know who controls the unions in California. But I know the last time it ran, she was talking to me about shit to buy on Robinhood, and I actually was unaware that people bought crypto on Robinhood because that was back when they used to, like, not put their stuff on on chain. Like, they were maintaining their own supply, moving shit back and forth, not hitting change. It was internal supply type thing, but, man, that guy... That's a really... That's a fucking kernel about watching the popularity of downloads and and things like that because definitely Robinhood is where, you know, Robinhood, the... Not so much Cash App. I mean, I like to buy Bitcoin there, but, like, because it's easy. But that's... Man, that guy is totally telling you the fucking play because definitely definitely that's where I started to hear from people like, oh, man. I'm just getting your shit on Robinhood. I'm like,
[0:55:11] NatNat @Natnatx007: what the fuck?
[0:55:12] Voice J: But it is because it's brain dead. The moment technology becomes brain dead, that's the entry. People keep thinking it's all these perks and shit, but, nope, they just want something that that requires no effort and and... You know what I mean? Just baby sap. People wanna be baby sap.
[0:55:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's it. Fact. Facts. And the, by the way, the... Those four f bombs in there, NetNets gonna send you an an invoice, for...
[0:55:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm typing it up right now.
[0:55:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: R r d c, just, make sure that you send, all funds to all things crypto.eth. It will be split amongst us as a collective, for the f bomb. But great points nonetheless. Yeah. Second and cool, like...
[0:55:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: Are are you saying that you...
[0:55:51] Voice J: Oh, my fault. It's it's my first time on the channel. I didn't I didn't know about that. I'm I'm oil and gas. I do intellectual property, and I work from home for the specific reason that, you know She's gonna have save us money on HR. Sorry.
[0:56:04] Cryptonik @cryptoniker: No. This is HR. I'm sorry. We don't take that as an excuse. Please try again next time. Good luck.
[0:56:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: So Dave Dave was throwing around the f bomb like it was nobody's business yesterday. So I came up with a rule that the... Every time we say the f bomb, $100 is zelled over to me. Right?
[0:56:26] Voice Q: Wait.
[0:56:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: What? I've been keeping tally. We're at a thousand so far between just Dave and Empress. Your invoice, my dear, will be separate. Okay?
[0:56:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. I I
[0:56:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: joke? What is this? What is this? Crazy. Taxes? You guys pay taxes?
[0:56:56] Voice Q: Always.
[0:56:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: So Yes. Yes. Of course. But nah. Overbid. RDC, good stuff, man. Good stuff. Good stuff. Yeah. Alright. Let me see what else we got. Cooking... Oh, listen to this. This is... I thought this was an interesting story. It says billionaire Bill Miller of the fourth says 1% of the $60,000,000,000,000 in global retirement accounts could add an easy 30 to 50 k to BTC spot price. Sees a 2% allocation as conservative. Like, so now you're talking easily another 100 k on top of Bitcoin for a 2% allocation into retirements. This is a 60,000,000,000,000 industry. Like, Bitcoin is 4,000,000,000,000. Right? Like, look at where we... Like, that's easy. Like, look at where we have to go. That is a whole... I mean, a lot.
[0:57:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: Dave, I've I've got a I've got a space that you can go listen to because you have no idea what's happening in some of the deals going on with minors right now. Oh, baby.
[0:57:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tell me.
[0:57:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: You think that that's big? Oh, I can't tell you. I'm... I I actually...
[0:58:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: He signed an NDA.
[0:58:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Who even know NDA? I'm just gonna say, who even know NDA bullshit, bro?
[0:58:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. No. This is this is actually real business stuff. So, like, there's there's real stuff happening. You can get a little hint. I was in the space a little bit earlier just before joining, you know, ATC where there was a really good conversation happening. A lot of hints were being dropped because there is... If you think that just one to 2% of that is big, wait until you hear about what else is being loaded in the chamber right now. And regulation is going to be... The path is going to be cleared. It is it is being cleared right now. And it's funny, RDC, you work in, oil and gas?
[0:58:44] Voice J: Yeah. I was just gonna... I was gonna tell you that, there's a tech project that I can't tell you the company because they're publicly traded, but we have a data center going down for a couple of government agencies that uses as much power as a third of the state of Texas.
[0:58:58] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I was on......
[0:58:59] Voice J: In, like... Because there were...
[0:59:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: I was on the space earlier with you, Amanda. There is a big player. There is a huge player that's currently mining BTC. They they didn't wanna give any information with regard... Who... With regarding who that is, but it's huge.
[0:59:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: And RDC, Nat Nat said that she will forego the the fines if you just let us know the name of the company that you were just referring to in the DMs, and we will Nope. Hey. Yo. Which game are you on over here, bro? RDC, just shoot us a DM. We'll be we'll be good. Alright. Sweet. That now I'll let you know to avoid that... You need to avoid that
[0:59:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Energy sector. Exactly.
[0:59:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just look Actually, Landy, I did have a question for you because I did see something on the timeline that I found interesting. Somebody put up a thing. Of course, it was a dot... It... He had a dot eth name. So everyone was clowning him on the timeline, but I thought that this was somewhat relevant where he said now, I think... I believe it was Foundry and Airpool now... Because we never talked about, by the way, the Monero story and how Cubic literally took over 51% of the network. We never talked about that story to the point where Kraken actually had to halt, like, Monero stuff. And I don't know what the update is there, but I I felt like Yeah. We lost over that. But I recently saw something where it said Foundry and AMP pool have account for 51 of the hash rate now on Bitcoin.
[1:00:20] Landy @CryptoLandy: Is that
[1:00:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: more... Is that an issue?
[1:00:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: A little bit more than 51%.... Valid issue or what's deal? Absolutely not. No. No. No. No. First off, Foundry is a US based company, and AmpPool is a a China based company. So the implication in some of the people that that put out these posts that go viral for a little bit here is that, well, these two bigger players are obviously going to collude together to fork the network. And there's a few different reasons
[1:00:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: why it's not gonna happen.... The network.
[1:00:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yes. Fork the network. Fork with a giant f in the middle of it. Wait. In the beginning of it. Fork. So fork. So... No. Listen. The... This is this is a fear tactic that has been used quite a few times throughout Bitcoin's history is, you know, one, mining was pretty highly centralized in the very beginning. People don't really understand that. And it's built to decentralize over time, and it's bigger than just the hash rate being pushed. It's the economics behind Bitcoin. It is the the thesis behind Bitcoin. So let's just say in this ideal situation where Foundry, a US based company, and Ampull, a a Chinese based company, wanna join together to attack or 51% attack Bitcoin, it makes very little economic sense to do so. It would cost a ton of money to do it and pull it off. Also, what would happen to Bitcoin if they did it? Well, price would massively decrease. Right? And that fork would be DOA. DOA. I mean, look at what happened to BSV. BSV is is pushing, like, zero hash rate at this point. They basically have died. Just within the past couple of days, they were trending down and died. All Bitcoin forks that had been tried before, they die, and then people would just flood right back into Bitcoin. And the the the other thing is if they did that, they'd be doing a big disservice to themselves. Right? Because from the economic point of view, one, would cost a ton of money. Be... There's many checks and balances and ways of which, you know, we could we could potentially head that off either way. So they already run that risk, and then they would they would likely... If they go and they fork, now they're not even hashing on the network anymore. And then everyone else gets the benefit of mining blocks without them there. So have fun doing that. It's not gonna work. It will never work. It's not set up to work because it's bigger than just the network It is the economics behind Bitcoin, and there's way bigger players waiting in the wings that are already mining the peep... That aren't gonna show up on those nice little graphs that people like to put out there. And we're seeing a lot more of them spin up over time, and we'll continue to see this. The the... What did I say to you? What did I respond that yesterday in that chat? Because this came up in one of the chats yesterday, and I can't find it. But I think I pretty succinctly put it as there's just no... There's no real... The... It's the implication of collusion. And then the... And and that would first off have to happen. When we're talking about 51% attacks, yes, can... All the miners could collude, and it could be over tomorrow. It doesn't really matter. When you're talking about 51% attacks, it's about one pool getting 51% of that hash rate. Now, yes, everyone's gonna go, well, the templating the templating the templating. Look at... Well, look at the flows and where they all goes. And it's like the... Well, then you clearly are misunderstanding the hash rate and consensus mechanisms on Bitcoin because the templating and the payout structure and where things are going for those payouts of pools is not actually the problem. And there isn't... The... This is a falsified problem, and and it would be shooting themselves in the foot to do so. Also, there's vested interest that would immediately pick up hash. And and... Look. You don't have the US government holding a strategic reserve and then trying to... You know, senators trying to propose Bitcoin acts for accumulation, companies that are building treasuries out. There's too many vested interests. It would just be the dumbest thing to even try.
[1:04:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Okay. Fair enough. I just... I saw him obviously going... Thought, like, just, you know, seeing it on the face, I was like, maybe this might be something interesting to maybe just chat about. But I'm... The Monero
[1:04:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Every time they get close every time they get close, this is always a big
[1:04:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, yeah?
[1:04:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: A big talking point.
[1:04:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But the Monero thing was legit. Right? Like, Cubic literally took over 51%. Like, I think it was 52 or 54% for Monero, which was wild. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy stuff. Yeah. Alex, welcome. What's up?
[1:05:16] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Hey. I made it for my final fifteen minute thing. Whoo.
[1:05:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? I'm sorry. I
[1:05:24] Voice Q: didn't get the memo. Alex closing the show now. What's up?
[1:05:29] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I like I like cruising to the last ten minutes of class. Hey, everybody.
[1:05:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's going on, Alex? What's good? So,
[1:05:41] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: you know, my prediction was right for the Fed again. And I made this prediction weeks ago when the the markets were a 100% in the opposite direction. They were on fire because they were like, it's gonna drop. Fuck. No. So that... I was like, yay for me. But, honestly, you know, if you've been following me, you can make these predictions also. I I tell you how I make them. It's pretty it's pretty clear what the answers are. And, honestly, if they don't make them, I just use the same the same information that the Fed does. Like, I'm not... I don't have a narrative. So that's... It's pretty easy to do it when you're, like, not going in going, I... This is what I wanna happen. So I'm gonna make all the data fit my expectations. It's really just, I'm looking at the data that they're looking at, and I say, okay. Here it is and break it down. So, doing most stuff right now. I'm trying to move over to Substack, and so all the information right now, I'm trying to shift it over there so you guys can see how I break stuff down. But did you guys see Bowman's statement today? Oh god. There's a lot going on with the Fed today. Lots of scandal, scandal, scandal, and some interesting stuff here. I don't know if you guys saw Bowman's statement that if He banking? Yeah. To bank. Two banks. Dear banks, if you do not get on board with crypto, you will fall behind. Love the Fed. When has that ever happened? Did anyone predict that happening? That is freaking insane. That is from the board of governors, two banks. That... That's that's pretty incredible that that actually happened because usually the Fed is like, you know, you have a risk analysis, apply it accordingly, know that crypto is volatile. And that's basically been the statement the whole time. Right? Is we don't advocate anything particular. We're just telling you know what your... What what volatility you can handle, etcetera. I'm gonna be talking about Basel three. And we have some issues because the Fed is, like, lightening up extremely on what what banks are required to do. Every time this happens, a couple of things happen. And one is, you know, markets go up, and then there's a a crash, a very specific kind of crash, and it happens every single time. So, you know, we've got that to look forward to. I don't really understand why bankers never learn. Bankers never learn. Bankers never learn. It's really funny. This has happened over and over again since 1873. Over and over and
[1:08:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: over again. Is good, Alex. Greed is good.
[1:08:45] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I mean, education is good. I'm not really sure why this continues to happen, but it's the same damn cycle over and over and over again. Right now, for various reasons, they're kind of kissing our butts, but that doesn't mitigate the the end result, which which is still... We're gonna have the same outcome again, and they're gonna keep coming faster and faster and faster. So, just a heads up, I should have a whole space on it just because it's a little complicated.
[1:09:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alex, I a surprise for you. I have a surprise for you. So, I I told you, like, to send to me your space. This is this is obviously, like, the dumb down and, like, the really, really abridged version, but listen.
[1:09:30] Voice H: Welcome to a special podcast summarizing the brilliant economic insights from Alex Damsker's recent discussion
[1:09:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't tell him to say that for the record. Coast. Okay. Great.
[1:09:41] Voice H: We're diving into some fascinating revelations about how our economy really works. Let's start with a major misconception about tariffs. Alex made it crystal clear. Americans pay for tariffs, not foreign countries. When we impose tariffs on Chinese goods, it's American companies importing those goods who pay the tax at the border. This money goes into the US treasury, typically funding Social Security, Medicare, or defense, not helping the industries affected by tariffs. Here's where it gets really interesting. Alex shared a perfect example with the copper wire industry. Trump exempted raw copper from tariffs to help US manufacturers. But guess what happened? American copper wire companies still raised their prices to just below the tariff affected imports, capturing extra profit without any increased costs. That's textbook price gouging. Moving to Federal Reserve policy. Alex has been incredibly accurate predicting Fed moves. His key insight, the Fed will keep interest rates flat, not His. The US markets expect. Why? Persistent inflation in the Fed's data driven approach. Alex criticized anyone suggesting the Fed shouldn't be data driven, calling it the worst statement about money he's ever heard.
[1:11:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you're a he, by the way. Sorry.
[1:11:07] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. I'm a he.
[1:11:08] Voice J: Alex said crucial time will be so disappointed.
[1:11:10] Voice H: IPO prices peak in the first twenty four hours, then typically drop. Wait about a week for prices to settle before investing. He also discussed Wyoming's new
[1:11:20] Samara @thee_samara: That's not
[1:11:20] Voice J: very inclusive of you.
[1:11:22] Voice H: Potential federal regulatory conflicts.
[1:11:24] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: My pronouns.
[1:11:25] Voice H: Perhaps most importantly, Alex challenged the moral framing around economic redistribution. Almost done. He argues we should stop calling government payments handouts and recognize them as normal economic activity, money flowing through the economy just like when it flows to wealthy individuals or corporations. The key takeaway, be data driven in your economic thinking. Ignore narratives and emotions. Focus on facts, numbers, and understanding how systems actually work, not how we wish they worked. That's our summary of Alex Dansker's invaluable economic insights. For more detailed analysis, check out the full transcript and Alex's newsletter. Thanks for listening.
[1:12:13] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: Yeah. I'm sure he'll be through.
[1:12:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're welcome. Alex, he, she, laughing.
[1:12:25] ALEX DAMSKER @AlexDamsker: I did misgendered. I feel I feel violated. But otherwise, you know, thanks. That's awesome. Yeah. That's that's... There's a... There was a lot in there, and and I appreciate you hitting those highlights. That was... You know, there's a lot in there. I I usually... When I do my economics and market spaces, I talk about economic and market impact that... So it's basically risk analysis that... From from the law regulation and the news. So what is impacting the stock, bond, and crypto markets? And then what should you do about it? Right? What are some things that you should know about, what you should do with that information? I've usually got a tip or something like that in there on what you should do. Since we talked so much about the Fed, I talked a little bit about IPOs just because I've got some really good information about an upcoming IPO that's actually got a lot of a lot of stuff hidden in there that I'm gonna do a deep dive on, which is the Gemini IPO. So... But otherwise, anyway, thank you for that. I appreciate it.
[1:13:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're welcome.
[1:13:41] Voice Q: You are most
[1:13:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: welcome. Listen. I think, like, at the end the day, like, I think that makes it... Like, these these recaps make the information, like, super, super digestible and really, like, easy to kinda, like, understand. I get it. It's, you know, less than three minutes for probably a ninety minute or two hour space. I understand that, but this makes it, like, a little bit easier for... I I know for myself just to be able to kinda get the recap, what are the main points, essentially stuff they were talking about, that she was talking about. I'll fix the sheet for the next time. Don't worry. And then we'll go from there. But, Alex, I appreciate you. I just wanna get to Sunny d before we close out because I know Sunny d's been up here for a minute. Sunny d, really quickly, bro, give us the give us the Tron breakdown. What's good, my bro? I didn't even see you up here with your sexy PFE. Hey.
[1:14:28] Voice M: Just engagement farming, but I do have some updates for people that wanna know about Tron. Uptick in Reddit activity, definitely a lot more conversations happen over there. It's exciting for Tronix because it's been relatively dead over there for a while. So lots of noobs over there asking questions, trying to figure out how to use the network. MetaMask is integrating with Tron, so that's pretty cool. Kraken is integrating x stocks. So, basically, the Nasdaq will be available on Tron, which is kinda cool. So you can take day trade stocks over there. That's gonna be... I don't know exactly how that will work, but pretty decent announcement. USD 1 is now on JustLend. You can borrow at 1% right now. They got, like, 15,000,000 chilling in JustLend. There's 25,000,000 USD 1 total on Tron now with about 14,000,000 in twenty four hour volume. So just activity keeps ticking.
[1:15:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Appreciate you, bro. Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Of course, coma has to come right at seven right when I'm ready to close. What's up, coma?
[1:15:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: Not much. Just, late as usual. Sorry about that. Yeah. Just what has been kicking my butt, this week. But, yeah, how did, what I missed? Did, fear and greed at 44? 44 years old or what? I'm kidding.
[1:15:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Listen. Leave me alone. For the record, by the way, my birthday is, next week, one week from today, so you all better start figuring out what the hell you're gonna get me for a gift for dealing with all you.
[1:16:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'll get you a nice invoice by then because I'm sure they'll be
[1:16:07] Voice Q: racking up. That's you. Nat.
[1:16:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Listen. Nat, can you give
[1:16:14] Kkoma @itskkoma: me that invoice template as well? Because I do need to get paid for, you know, the backlog of
[1:16:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: all the moments. I do have a question for for Coma. Coma, have you have you have you figured out which PSP you're gonna use? I know you put a a pulse. You're confused by the PSP. Have you have you picked one yet?
[1:16:31] Kkoma @itskkoma: Wait. What? What did you say? Vault? What's Vault?
