All Things Crypto: Got Bitcoin? Look like a hobo?

AdoptionAirdrops / TGEsAltcoinsBTCBaseBusinessCoinbaseCommodities

Wednesday show hosted by Dave with Kool, NatNat, Bread, Landy, xFactor, Kkoma, Sunny D (birthday) and Gekko. NatNat explains why markets have tended to rise during government shutdowns (forward-looking, already priced in) and may pull back when the government reopens, and walks through the commodity rotation from gold to silver (spot silver near $49, a cup-and-handle forming; SLV for exposure) then oil and natural gas; Kool notes tokenized gold, silver and oil and RWA trading on Avantis. Kool says real retail still has no money to spend. Kkoma says DeFi yield and airdrops were his best play this cycle and questions the Monad card hype. Dave notes Coinbase staking opening to New York, 95% of BTC supply in profit, and asks whether Satoshi's coins ever move. Bread and xFactor cover MetaMask adding perps via Hyperliquid and Polymarket integration, and Bread expects the Polymarket US launch soon; the crew critiques the Limitless raise and its tiny allocations while Bread still sees a Base prediction market as bullish; Bread explains why binary prediction-market spreads differ from sportsbook bets (no house rake). Landy gives BTC levels (116K-118K support, 125K-130K upside) and expects a rotational alt season later. NatNat flags the $10B ETH unstaking queue. Dave and NatNat cover Square's zero-fee Bitcoin payments for merchants; Landy notes NCR Voyage has offered merchant BTC payments since 2022 and the difference is Dorsey's reach. The back half is about quiet wealth versus flexing: rented Lamborghinis, Landy's Ferrari-pitch story, how real investors treat founders, and never bringing a hardware wallet to crypto events. Market talk is discussion, not advice.

[0:00:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. My bad, Brooklyn. Now down in
[0:03:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. What's good? Trench, what up?
[0:03:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Guys, like, share, retweet this out, please. Let's cook.
[0:03:56] xFactor @xFactorPOL: We got a
[0:03:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: lot to chat about today.
[0:04:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: God, that is such a banger. It's good, everybody. Happy hump day, Wednesday. You know, middle of the week. We are about to cook today. Lots of news that we got cooking today. I saw Polymarket was starting to accept Bitcoin deposits, building off of yesterday's story. I'm sure there's a ton of other shit that we gotta chat about. But, yeah, welcome, everybody. Hope everybody's doing well. It's good to see everybody. Cool. Nat, what's up?
[0:05:05] Kool @koolcryptovc: Hey. So so I guess I'm gonna have the Wednesday. Let's go. I'm very pretty sure, man. Let's do it. What's going on, guys?
[0:05:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Nat, what's good? You good?
[0:05:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: Absolutely. Ready to dive into it. It's been a it's been it's been a pretty good day. I found myself singing nursery rhymes in between meetings and spaces, but it's it's it's all worth it. Tons of news today. I'm happy to dive into it.
[0:05:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. I love it. Brett, what's cooking, baby?
[0:05:29] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yo, GM, dude. Just... Yes. And calls all freaking morning and finally getting to chill for a little bit, but, like, that song, bro, like, I can't hear it the same way after seeing that Hawk Tua video. Did you see that where she, like, mispronounces or misunderstood the words? So that's all.
[0:05:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: What the what the
[0:05:48] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, dude.
[0:05:49] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hang on. I'm gonna show you this. Like, yo. Hang on. I'm gonna go find it. That shit is so funny.
[0:05:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right. But The the the the... Bro, just because you got it messed
[0:05:58] Landy @CryptoLandy: up in your head, you
[0:05:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: don't gotta mess up the rest of our heads. You know what I'm saying? Like
[0:06:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: Whatever what happened to her? If you... If she she launched the token and then
[0:06:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: That she made off with 50,000,000 clear, bro. They dropped all those charges. Once Trump got in office, you remember that? They literally were like, we drop in this case. We drop in this case. We drop in this case. She made out like a hawk to a bandit. Wow.
[0:06:21] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. She's gone now. I don't know where the hell she went, but,
[0:06:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: like If I got 50,000,000, I'd be gone too, bro. What do you mean? I'd be gone... Long gone. Yeah. Listen. I got 50,000,000. I love you guys, but you would not see me on Twitter spaces.
[0:06:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: Little little how she got it too, right, that rubbed people the wrong one. Didn't she, like, rubbed a whole... Her whole community?
[0:06:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: It wasn't her necessarily. It was, like, you know how, like, the people come to you, they're like, hey. Can we use your Twitter account for? And she was like, okay. Mean, she did get the 50,000,000. I think she got a lot... Most of the 50,000,000. Yeah.
[0:06:50] Bread @_ToastMalone: She stole her account, didn't she?
[0:06:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't know if she sold it or what, but, you know, there was that that guy, Doc Holiday or whatever, that was, like, behind the whole shit. It was some crazy stuff, but I don't know. Yeah. About 50,000,000? Nat, would you be on Twitter spaces for... After 50,000,000? I know. Cool. We'd definitely not be on Twitter space then.
[0:07:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: I mean, you know what? For 50,000,000, I'll be in an island in The Caribbean. You you guys are gonna have to send me a message via a bird, not even a bottle, like a bird.
[0:07:15] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I'll I'll I'll I'll I'll still hold spaces, man. I love this shit, man.
[0:07:19] Kkoma @itskkoma: Like, what
[0:07:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: do you mean? Like, what do you mean? Of course. Guys, I know... What's that dude's name? Kyle. Kyle shot Chase by by buying Bitcoin at ten dollars, man. He's been in crypto for, like, eleven years. He does more space and Twitter shows than than I do. So he's worth probably couple 100,000,000. So, bro, of course, I'm still here, man. I fucking love this shit.
[0:07:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, sorry. Not a one.
[0:07:37] Kkoma @itskkoma: Still here. Mhmm. Sorry. I
[0:07:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: never thought we'd hear an f bomb with somebody that said, if I got 50,000,000, I'd still be here. How does an f bomb find its way into that statement? Cool. You are a special, special breed of human, my friend. That is for damn sure. Sunny d, what's good, my bro?
[0:07:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Ew. I would definitely at least take off a couple months from the Twitter spaces, but I'd probably end up crawling back to the trenches just to experiment. Yep. Another rotation around the sun for me today. I have not been online, so I have no idea what's been going on in crypto today.
[0:08:24] xFactor @xFactorPOL: But it's today your birthday.
[0:08:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: From the best. Is today your birthday? Yes. Yes. Indeed. Let's go, bro. Happy birthday, Sunnyv. Let's go, baby. Love that, bro. And OpenAI officially owns my likeness. Hey. Listen. I'll clap you up
[0:08:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: for the birthday.
[0:08:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: And as far as OpenAI and your likeness, yeah. You know? Me too. So it is what it is. But, yeah, there was some crazy OpenAI news, but we we can get that after. It's not, like, technically crypto related, but holy cow. Alright. Let's cook. What do we got cooking right now today? Like, I've been I've been a little bit heads down, half napping, because don't forget it still is the Jewish holiday. For those that don't know, it's the second half of the Jewish holiday. October is just Jew months. Okay? There's Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur. Now there's... If you guys have any Jewish friends, you'll know, like, they build those little houses outside of their houses that they essentially eat under. It's called Sukkot. Yeah. It's that. That's the reason why I'm here. So, technically, you know, spending time with the fam and then still hosting space is not worth $50,000,000, but it is what it is. I'm still here. But I saw Polymarket just started accepting BTC deposits. I was like, oh, okay, Polymarket. I like the... I I like this news. We obviously talked about this yesterday. I dug in a little bit more yesterday, by way, to this Polymarket news, man. I think I think x factor was right. Like, this is gonna be a drop in the bucket considering, like like, really... You know, I I was playing with GPT being like, what are some of, like, the real avenues for Polymarket to actually, like, like like, to really, like, sell this data? And what it came back with was insane. There was so much stuff. I mean, so many avenues in which they can obviously, like, monetize, like, all of this stuff. But I found one of the interesting things that I own Polymarket other than the Bitcoin thing was people still see the government shutdown, still see, like, October 15. What's today? Hold on. Today is the eighth. They see the government shutdown going on Polymarket. It's 83%. Yes. It's going past October 15. Nat, what's the deal over here with government shutdown? And, like, are the markets still good? Because we heard Jamie Dimon say, hey. Government shutdown is not gonna affect the financial markets. What are we seeing?
[0:10:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. We we we mentioned this. Right? So in in in 2018, we saw we the similar behavior when both government shutdown. There were two. Right? And both the the stock markets and crypto, they went crazy because he... Here's the here's the thing. Right? How do I... Especially the stock market, it's forward looking. So when and when something like this happens, there's a chance that it's already priced in. Right? So now we're waiting on on on the next event. Right? Or we're pricing in the next event. Right? And this is not surprising. This is not surprising, especially with some of the the news that he has been... Some of the stuff that he has been saying with regards to potentially, you know, retail may have another check coming that's bullish for crypto. There's so much go with, his... Is it his son or his son-in-law that's been on CNBC, pounding the table on cryptocurrency. It's pounding the table on the stock market. Both of them have been pumping both sides as much as they can. You know? For me, that's that's not a bearish sign at all. And I've said this on many spaces as well even before the government shutdown. Yeah. It might sound scary, but if history were to repeat itself, both markets should be nice and green, which we are seeing now. I mean, I won't be surprised if we get a little a little... Another pullback here to cool the technicals after a a day like today. But for the for the most part, I think I think it... It's it's a bullish sign. Now if they do come to an agreement if they do come to an agreement and history were to repeat itself and the government were to reopen, we should be seeing a pullback because that's what happened last last time if history repeats itself. But overall, the market seems unscathed, untouched, and everything's marching forward.
[0:12:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Cool. Great great analysis on that. Yeah. Think so too.
[0:12:26] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So about about the same thoughts is that... Not has... I don't think... I mean, it's different to say, but I... Like, the market is driven by big money bags right now, and they wanna keep push... Pushing the market up. And I... Like I said, I I do agree with you. The last shutdown lasted thirty five days. 2018, I was in trouble with the power. That's pretty insane that shut down for thirty five days, meaning every single government employee didn't get paid for thirty five freaking days. That's insane. Of course. Of course. People people always fail to mention, there's always a a back pay. So if you don't make make your money in those thirty five days, when the government does open back up, they pay... They do pay you back, what you didn't get paid, but it just kinda sucks. Governments is weird like that. It's what it is. But, but if, like like you said, if the market didn't, dump, you know, with the government shutdown, it it probably will when it does open. So, yeah, man, right now, just, like I said, enjoy the vibe of the markets is... Has a lot... We we... We're still missing a lot of retail. And I keep saying this already. There's... The the people are broke. The average average person doesn't have money to buy homes or cars or all these things. So if they don't have that money, they can't buy crypto. That's not what they do. What... You need retail. I I don't mean us. We we are crypto retail. I'm not I'm not talking about us. I'm talking about the real retail. Those people don't have money to spend on crypto right now. And when that time comes, when they do have that money to spend, that's when you should look into start selling your your your assets. But until that happens, guys, you have a couple options. Either you're buying right now or you're still in your hands and do nothing, or you're finding other ways to build your Twitter account to try to make money. This is not time to sell it. Unless... Maybe if you have Bitcoin, you could sell some maybe, but this is not time to sell in your bags that's still down 56%, man. I think so.
[0:14:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. And that real quick also, I saw that silver... Because we talked about gold on Bitcoin, but I saw the spot silver market that that hit $49 an ounce for the first time in, like, I think thirteen, fourteen years. And I I don't know... What I know about silver markets is there's... That the government... US government has been manipulating the silver markets forever ever in terms of the marking the close stuff. What's the deal with silver, Nat?
[0:14:52] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So remember on yesterday's show, we were talking about how the the rotation works. Right? We mentioned that gold is the leader. Once gold starts running, the rising tide lifts lifts all boats. Right? So once gold start running, we see some funds rotating into silver, and silver starts running. Then we see some funds rotating into oil, and oil starts running. And then we see some funds rotating into natural gas, and natural gas starts running. Now the the the only red flag is usually sometimes when we see commodities taking off like this, one can say that they're sending a warning. Right? So when we saw this in, like, the, nineteen seventies, markets didn't react too well. But the one thing that I keep seeing is that since then, we have better financial guardrails in place. Right? Things that weren't in place then to protect the investor, they're in place now. We have laws. We have rules. And even in in in the stock market, they can drop more than a certain level because then it hits the circuit breaker and and and to to avoid excess loss. So we have things like that in place to help the the the investors overall. But it is a very interesting story. We're all looking at at it. It. We saw that move up on gold, which I I hate to toot my whole own horn, but I I called it in, like, '20... Early twenty twenty four when I posted it on my time line. I'm like, guys, GDX and GLD, and they they... They're still running. So congrats to those that bought in and are still holding. And then now we're seeing the the rotation to silver. And as I mentioned yesterday, if history were to repeat itself, we would see oil and natural gas on the move next.
[0:16:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oil and natural gas. That's that's gonna be really interesting to see, like, if that's the case. But you... Like, you know the the silver story I'm talking about, Nat, like, with the government marking the clothes. Like, do you guys... Do remember this whole, like, there's a massive fix on silver, and people were saying, like like, silver is 100% fixed. Am I am I crazy, or does this story make sense?
[0:16:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: It does make sense, and and and that has been a talk for some time now. So it's it's not new, and that that... That's what they've... They said for a while about gold too. But it will be very interesting to see to see how it plays out. With regards to silver's actual chart, it is forming a massive cup and handle. So, usually, when you see the massive cup and handle just like oil... Just like gold did, I'm sorry, It's followed by a massive, massive breakout. So it... Gold... Silver is literally just getting started. So I don't really necessarily believe that the price is fixed because they said they said that about gold as well and look at where we are now.
[0:17:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Yeah. I don't know. I'm I'm doing a little bit of homework as as we chat. What... Like, what is the... I I wanna know what the all time high for silver actually is. Is it... Because if they haven't seen... Oh, wait. Oh, so it's to... This is it. It's right now.
[0:17:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: 14,000. Telling you, it's breaking
[0:17:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: up. Wow.
[0:17:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. See? That's why I don't believe the price is is fixed because it's going it's going. And if it follows gold and it does and it does that massive breakout out of the, cup and handle pattern, we should see it making another all time high.
[0:17:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wow. Okay. How do we get exposure to silver, Nat? Just out of curiosity.
[0:18:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. SLV. SLV is the... Yeah. That's the main take. Obviously, there are there are others silver mining companies that are a lot cheaper. But if you want the overall, then broader exposure, then SLV is the ticker.
[0:18:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean,
[0:18:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: you you you you can buy gold on on the blockchain now. On multiple exchanges do sell a a a tokenized version of gold and silver and oil. So just if you want to. Yeah.
[0:18:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: So so... And can't we trade, like, RW, like, RW... Like, world assets on Avantis as well? Like, are... Is this... Like, is this Bright cool? Yeah?
[0:18:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. You you could trade oil. You could trade gold. You could trade silver. You could trade multiple currencies around the world. Not just that. Many, many, many other exchanges you could do this now. And I'm sure these exchanges are are going to list more. Coinbase... It's... A lot is coming, guys. A lot. I know Coinbase and a lot of other exchanges are working into listing s and p 500 companies on the blockchain. It's it's gonna get crazy, guys. It's it's just the web two and web three markets are about to get married, like... And have a bunch of kids. So, yeah, very, very bullish.
[0:19:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like that. Rev two. Rev three is about to have a bunch of babies, and y'all all about to be aunts and uncles if you play your cards right. I'd like... I'd love that. I wanna be in another
[0:19:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: Cool and days already, Tios, so there's that.
[0:19:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. I love it. Let me say what's up to Como. Como, what's cooking, bro?
[0:19:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did you see?
[0:19:39] Kkoma @itskkoma: Hello. Hello. How are you? Sorry about that. Yeah. Just been crazy day. Had to wake up at, like, three in the morning to go on a flight to Philadelphia. So I'm on the East Coast now. It's weird going on all things crypto at 05:30. But, yeah, overall, market start kinda choppy a little bit. Went down. Now it's up. I don't know. People are feeling kinda kinda good and bad at the same time. It's it's kinda me. So not really selling anything, but I don't know. Any... If I if I learned anything this cycle from me personally, it's make your money make you more money kinda thing. So, yeah, I've been doing a lot of DeFi this year, and it's been very, very good for me. So whether it be APRs or APYs, whatever you wanna call it, or airdrops allocation, because you put in the money, it's it's kinda nice, and it does kinda make it nicer even for taxes. So you don't have to worry about that kind of stuff. So, yeah, overall, pretty happy about it. Yeah. Just... I don't know. Have you guys been seeing these Monad cards? Like, apparently, people are selling them for,
[0:20:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, 50,000. I mean, it's
[0:20:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: obviously a meme, but, like, it's just kinda funny how so many influencers are talking about it at the same time. I'm pretty sure it's a a paid sponsorship or... Of some sort that's undisclosed, of course. But...
[0:20:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So is is it is it real after all? They they sold it for 40 k. Is that is that real or just trolling?
[0:20:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: I don't know. I got off the site, and I saw it. But if there's 50 accounts selling it for 60 g's, then, you know, we're the chumps if it's real.
[0:21:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Go for it. We're the chumps. Yeah. Nah. Go for it.
[0:21:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So, Coma, on that, the markets are definitely choppy. And the reason why is because there's an undecided factor right now with regards to the FOMC minutes that were released today at two. And they're very literally undecided. So, like, they are divided between how many cuts by the end of this year. Right? Some say two, some say less. And and and I and I think it it it probably has to do with the lack of, reporting. So that's one thing with the government shutdown. When the government does shut down certain reports like the unemployment reporting, like the BLS reports and stuff like that, they... Because they come directly from the... From one of the government branches, we don't get those reports. And the Fed need those... They need those reports to make that decision.
[0:22:03] Kkoma @itskkoma: Got it. When do when do you think we would get more clarity around that?
[0:22:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: Around the government shutdown?
[0:22:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. I mean, I guess I haven't been really following it. Because I I think someone was, like, in the previous basis, like, oh, yeah. It's gonna shut down, and then literally it's gonna open up back up, like, in a couple days. But, you know, like
[0:22:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. The issue right now is they they need to agree on a spending budget for operations in... For 2026. And and what they're asking for... The one party is asking for way too much money, and Trump is... Isn't isn't with us. So he's fine with shutting it down until they present a number that he's comfortable with. And... Which which is accurate. Right? Because he's trying to put a stop to the... That massive debt ceiling. But they're in negotiations. They had they had a... There was a proposal presented yesterday that was declined. There was another one presented today that was declined. And I believe Polymarket is factoring in on on the second longest shutdown ever. So that... It'll be very interesting to see how it plays out because I don't think it's just going to be a couple days. Right? Because we're talking about massive amounts of money.
[0:23:10] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Come on. Yes. The the the the first one lasted thirty five days, miss. Man. So if if you stay in second, just look towards at least thirty days of government shutdown if it's gonna be the second, longest one.
[0:23:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sir, I shouldn't be playing the 17%, no before October 15 on Polymarket is what you're saying. Okay. That's fair. I'm a junkie for the underdog, but, you know, that's fine. Yeah. Good questions, Coma. What else we got cooking? Coinbase, I saw expand staking access to New York. Oh. Oh, finally. Goodness. Hey. Let's go. Right? About damn time, Coinbase. My gosh. I realized I can't do a lot of things in New York. You know, I lost... When I came here from California, was like, wait a minute. One thing California was good for was they didn't shut shit down. You know what I mean? Like, was able to access everything, like, centralized exchanges, this, that, KuCoins, da da da, everything. And now I get to New York? Nava.
[0:24:08] Kkoma @itskkoma: Dude I do I hate New York. That's the biggest thing.
[0:24:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: I have a question for you guys. So as as as Trump's policies allowing crypto to thrive like this, do you think this could flip more people to vote Republican next cycle? Because, man, New York was a closed market to crypto. They wanted to kill the industry. And now the... Trump has been in office for, let's say, eight months. Look at everything that's happened in past eight months, and there's still three years and four... Three months left. So I'm I'm like, do you think, you know, it... Like, I'll probably talk to Nat Nat and the other people. I know Nat Nat is, like, a huge democrat. So do you think... You know, are you more bullish? Are you gonna flip red, or are you just gonna stay where you are?
[0:24:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's hilarious. Cool. You're fine. That's funny. Well, I vote for that's right.
[0:25:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is that
[0:25:03] Kkoma @itskkoma: is that is that
[0:25:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: I vote for Jesus every year. Okay? Every year Why didn't has my vote.
[0:25:09] Kkoma @itskkoma: Her voice went
[0:25:10] xFactor @xFactorPOL: so high. You're... You guys remember
[0:25:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nat during the election. Said, who'd you vote for? She was... She's with the same throat clear. She was like, I vote for Jesus every single election. And we were like, uh-huh. Okay. We got it. As we understand.
[0:25:26] Kool @koolcryptovc: Because that that you... You're you're making a lot more money now, man. You're you're making more money now probably than, than I'm sure you can imagine. A lot of us are too, and the the... We... We're just getting started. So there's some more potential to make more money. To me, I I like where... I like who makes more money. I'm not a democrat. I'm not a republican, but I just feel like, what do you guys think? You... Because I know crypto is very liberal and all that stuff. And now that the markets are going nuts like this and there's still more to come, do you think, you know, this has moved more democrats towards center or towards the right?
[0:26:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. No. That that is an actual great question. I think it depends on how his term will end and... Because I feel like it's too soon to decide. And to be honest, if we're in crypto, right, we're in our bubble. But if we... If you read the news, like, his ratings... Trump's ratings are down. His approval ratings are down. Right? So I... With regards to our bubble, I think whoever comes in favor of crypto, that's the one that's gonna be voted, whether it's democrat, republican in the middle and sides. I think it's whoever is is in favor of crypto.
[0:26:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Show me the poly market odds. I'm not I'm not believing any of those polls, any of those, ratings. I'm not believing none of it that I'm seeing on television that... None of it.
[0:26:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm... I mean, I'm I'm telling you I'm telling you, you can't go wrong if you vote for Jesus every year.
[0:26:49] Kkoma @itskkoma: As long as we don't get Gensler back,
[0:26:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: you know,
[0:26:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: that's that's the ballpark. I I start to would say that. I would just start to say that, you know, the SEC chairman now, we we don't even know really... Who really who he is. We don't see him on TV. We don't see him bashing crypto. We didn't even know who they are. The SEC, the CFTC, they handed their business without even us knowing who they are. That's a good sign. Gensler Gensler was on TV. Gensler was on TV bashing the industry twenty four seven, which made a lot of big money back scared to invest in here. And I think it's a big difference when you have the CFTC and SEC attack your industry every single freaking day, man. I mean, it makes a big difference, though.
[0:27:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: You're absolutely right. And I and I saw an interview that he did recently, and they they asked him about the reputation that he left. And he said he... He's fine. He he wouldn't do anything different. He's okay he's okay with it. And I and I can't help but but, like, think, like, that's, like, that's, like, when I'm arguing with my husband and he has a a good point, but I don't wanna admit it a little bit. It was okay. It's okay. Right? Even though I'm, like, crying inside, I'm, like, dark inside.
[0:27:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: That's a freak.
[0:27:54] Kool @koolcryptovc: That's absolute lie because I know that he was trying to get a job in multiple crypto companies, and they said no. So that's a freaking lie. He he he he regret going out to crypto, so that's a lie.
[0:28:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: I believe it 100%.
[0:28:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: I believe it 100%. Yeah. You're worst thing stupid. Yeah. Okay. Let me see what else you got cooking here. So today, I saw that over 95% of Bitcoin circulating supply has returned to a profit with BTC over... As long as BTC is over a 117, 118 k, they said 95% of the BTC circulating supply is in the money. That is a fascinating statistic. But in the same story, when I was looking at Bitcoin stories today, it said that people are now starting to very closely watch Satoshi's wallet. They said if there is any movement whatsoever in that wallet, like, markets are gonna go crazy. So here's my question to you guys. Do you think that we ever see movement from that Satoshi that's got 1,100,000 BTC, okay, which is insane, which is, I don't know, almost a couple $100,000,000,000 at this at this level. Do you think we see any motion from from that wallet? And if we do, what the hell happens?
[0:29:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I don't I don't think we seem... Because if if if they want to sell the part of solar already, I don't think there'll be any movements or that. Those keys might burn. They're gone already. I don't think it'll come back. And if it does go active, the markets will probably crash for a short short period of time. But you guys have to remember, these asset classes are are what people want now. They don't... I'm not saying they don't buy anything else, but the US dollar devaluation has caused crypto to go crazy, and it is not gonna stop. So I don't think I don't think it moves. I don't think so.
[0:29:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: I don't think the CIA has plans of selling anytime soon, so I think we're fine.
[0:29:57] Bread @_ToastMalone: There we go. I wasn't gonna say it because, you know, ultimately, we know Leslie's gonna show up here as soon as we start talking about that. Right? But, like, yeah, pretty sure that's a... That that wall is controlled for price control and liquidity control. And... Because, ultimately, like, when we do hit our cap of Bitcoin to ever be mined, like, that's a big enough chunk to definitely control the market with.
[0:30:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is facts. I always worry about that. Right? Because I'm like, am I holding this thing? And, like... Because that, like, that... If one thing happens, everything that I'm... I've been saving for, right, for the past five years... Okay. Leslie's here. Damn. See? Crazy. Knew it. That is crazy, bro. That is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Leslie, there was no bad talk. We just said talking about Satoshi's wallet. He was like, be careful because if we say more, Leslie's gonna show up. That was wild. Dave. How did you know that, bro?
[0:30:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: Hey. I have a question for you. If that was your wallet, what would you be doing? Like, people are looking at it like a hawk. You can't really move it because if you move it... You know? So... But you're also really rich, but you can't do anything with it. What would you do?
[0:31:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's a good question. Probably Elon Bro. And he doesn't need the money.
[0:31:12] Bread @_ToastMalone: To buy.
[0:31:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Listen. Listen. We actually talked about this this morning on the aligner space where we were like how game theory works. Right? Where it's like, do do I do what's best for me? Right? Like, which is essentially what the market does, like, right now. Or, like, if the two of us get arrested and they put us into separate rooms, are you guys gonna rat me out? Like, how is it gonna work? And at the end of the day, that's a lot of money, comma. I don't know, bro. I really don't know. But if I was rich already, I wanna say and I wanna I wanna be noble, say the noble thing and be like, no. No. No. I would let the markets flourish. This is economic growth. Well, I could be full of shit. I have no idea, to be perfectly honest. As long as you do your due
[0:31:54] Kkoma @itskkoma: to the... Like, you know, your duty by paying paying your taxes and dumping the market, you're you're you're fine. Right?
[0:32:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, you know, I don't need much. I wouldn't... $11,000,000 Bitcoin, bro. Like, just give me, like, you know, give me, like, a thousand Bitcoin, 2,000. I don't need all of it. You know?
[0:32:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: They're gonna call
[0:32:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: you a cheater. Your bag because don't you... Comma, he's out here saying that he doesn't... He he he doesn't have a thousand Bitcoin. I I can... I promise you, he has a nice Bitcoin bag. That's why he's late sometimes. Right? So he tells us he's late because he's sleeping and he's taking a nap. What he's really doing, he's counting his Bitcoins. That's how much Bitcoins. Him and cool, that's why they show up late sometimes. So that's what they do.
[0:32:35] Bread @_ToastMalone: That's Bro, if I had that wallet, man, I would full clip out of it and rotate full clip into, like, NVIDIA, and then full clip out the next day and full clip into, like, Apple. And then the next day, clip out, like... And just just have an absolute awesome time with the entire, like, tech world.
[0:32:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: So basically manipulate all of these stocks because you have enough money to make movements.
[0:32:57] Bread @_ToastMalone: I wouldn't be manipulating. I they'll all be transparent. Like, I'm gonna tell people, you know, like, after, oh, yeah. No.
[0:33:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: That was me.... Doesn't mean it's not manipulated. That's that's... That was
[0:33:07] Bread @_ToastMalone: a Yeah. Is. You gotta disclose those positions, comma. You have to disclose Everything
[0:33:11] Kkoma @itskkoma: is on chain, so it's not manipulated. It's transparent.
[0:33:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: I would just full port, like, a million Bitcoin into, like, a tennis, like, prediction market or something. You know what I mean? Like, that's... I feel like, you know, like, the the Neil Medvedev, like, game. I would have been like, yo. This seems like a no brainer, like, third set. Like, I would totally play that. You know?
[0:33:31] Bread @_ToastMalone: Does it take all the liquidity for that position?
[0:33:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah, bro. Just all of it. Koma, how are doing in tennis prediction markets?
[0:33:37] Kkoma @itskkoma: Don't don't remind me. I hate tennis, dude. What... That's the worst.
[0:33:40] Bread @_ToastMalone: He's using centralized platforms for his tennis bets.
[0:33:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: Dude, what kind of... I I don't wanna go into this rabbit hole, but tennis is the worst bet... Worst sport to bet on. Even if you're winning, you could still lose. This this this who came up with the retirement, like, retirement in tennis? That's, like, the worst thing in the world.
[0:33:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Coma, it just goes to show me that you do not watch, Crypto Magic Hour.
[0:34:03] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Because if you did, you would
[0:34:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: have seen last week when Brad and Bunchu were on, the biggest message that they delivered was always read the rules. No.
[0:34:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: I know the rules. I know the rules. I still think it's stupid. I I... You you still...
[0:34:16] Kool @koolcryptovc: How am I supposed to
[0:34:17] Kkoma @itskkoma: know that a player is is gonna say, it's too hot. I can't play. I'm, like, you know, I'm I'm almost about to faint, so I can't complete this game. Like, just finish the game and lose. You know? Like, there's no, you know, there's no, like, forfeit, like, in the middle of a game. That's that's the stupidest thing I... Imagine in the NFL, they're just like, hey. You know, there's a rule called, like, a mercy rule where if you're up by, like, 60 points, we're just gonna stop playing the... Like, there's no such thing like that in in the NFL. But in tennis, there is, which is dumb as rocks.
[0:34:49] Bread @_ToastMalone: It speeds it up because nobody wants to, like, sit there and watch a tennis match. It's, like, the most boring thing in the world. Like, make it go quicker. Some guy's just getting stomped, like, alright. Well, like, maybe let him go home and chill and, like,
[0:35:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: I can say the same thing about baseball. Baseball is boring. Unless you're drinking a ton of beer and some... Eating some peanuts or something, I I No really way. Basic...
[0:35:13] Bread @_ToastMalone: Baseball a hitting a hitting a fastball is the number one hardest thing to do in any sport. Like, you go,
[0:35:20] Kkoma @itskkoma: like doesn't watch. Right? Exactly. They shoot you, Dave. Alright. Alright. Well, I like baseball.
[0:35:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like this boys. Yeah.
[0:35:27] Kkoma @itskkoma: You know you know, you could say the same thing about pool. Like, pool, trying to hit a trying to hit a, like, a ball to, you know, a corner is one of the hardest things you could do. But is it fun to watch? Hell no.
[0:35:38] Bread @_ToastMalone: I'll smoke you in pool. Let's go, bro.
[0:35:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: X factor. What's up, Shouts?
[0:35:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh god. Came up on some bullshit. You came up on some... Yeah. You you got problems.
[0:35:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: This is what this is what happens when you watch baseball, folks. You you you can't.
[0:35:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. X factor, no. This is... No.
[0:36:00] Bread @_ToastMalone: His phone's on AM radio?
[0:36:03] xFactor @xFactorPOL: So the So... Oh my god. Oh my god. Alright. So you know what's worse you know what's worse than tennis? X one, you need an app update. Holy crap, dude. Can they get their shit together for... I don't understand, dude. I needed to update my app. I can't join a space. I'm rugging. I mean, this is this is insane, bro. Like, somebody raise some money and send send Elon, like, $20,000 to fix this. I don't know. It's ridiculous. Or maybe you should get Starlink. But... Yeah. It's not it's not Internet, bro. It's not Internet, and definitely Starlink won't help. I'm pretty sure. I have, like, Comcast, like, one gig up and down connections. This is ridiculous. Anyways, for prediction markets, there is a... Can you answer that?
[0:36:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: We got you. No.
[0:36:48] Kkoma @itskkoma: You're you're still breaking in and out.
[0:36:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Go ahead. You're not. You're not. Go. Go.
[0:36:52] xFactor @xFactorPOL: You're you're you're... I knew it. I know I know I I know I can... I'm here if if was talking shit. Anyways, for prediction markets, in the NFL, last week, we had a a draw. I forgot what game it was, but just giving people a heads
[0:37:06] Bread @_ToastMalone: Dallas is the store of gummies.
[0:37:10] xFactor @xFactorPOL: If there is a draw, that market is settled. That's $50.50 for prediction markets, meaning that the people that made, the underdog bet are gonna cash out and make a little bit of money, but the people that bet on the favorite, that didn't cover. And it's not a push either. You're gonna lose some money. Just, giving people a heads up if they didn't know, already. And, yeah, baseball is actually America's best sport, by the way. Baseball is, like, what started everything. Coma, if you disagree, you're wrong. And that's it. I don't
[0:37:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: even like baseball.
[0:37:41] Bread @_ToastMalone: I don't even
[0:37:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: like baseball. It's... But it's called... Baseball is America's favorite pastime. You you don't even get that correct,
[0:37:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: man. Exactly.
[0:37:48] xFactor @xFactorPOL: See, I just wanted to I just wanted to know I just wanted to know that you actually did enjoy baseball on your peers. Thank you so much for proving my point. I appreciate you.
[0:37:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is America's favorite pastime. Colma is right, but that still doesn't mean that it's fun to watch baseball. It's like watching paint dries.
[0:38:02] Bread @_ToastMalone: It's more fun than tennis.
[0:38:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, no way. Yeah. 101100%
[0:38:07] xFactor @xFactorPOL: can confirm, bro.
[0:38:09] Kkoma @itskkoma: Have never been seen.
[0:38:10] Kool @koolcryptovc: The blatant did you guys see
[0:38:13] xFactor @xFactorPOL: the blatant sign stealing on the Mariners game today? Like, my guy, what's his name? Josh Naylor's at second base just freaking spazzing the hell out behind the pitcher, obviously, obviously calling freaking... Or stealing signs, and the game just goes on. It's like, alright. Thank you, Vegas. I appreciate you. Don't I know what the score of the game is, but I think I think they're at the marathon.
[0:38:35] Kkoma @itskkoma: Glad that Abidst isn't here because he would be just yelling at us saying he hates everything. So
[0:38:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: Exactly. You
[0:38:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: know what's funny, guys? You know what? You hear me out. Hear me out. I might have a totally different take.
[0:38:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is gonna be the Dominican Republic baseball league comment or something like that. Here we go.
[0:38:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I think watching American football is less entertaining than baseball.
[0:38:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: And that... That's it. Stop it.
[0:39:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: Stop it. We need to
[0:39:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: say hello to... Let's say hello to miss Gekko.
[0:39:04] xFactor @xFactorPOL: What an incredibly terrible thing. No.
[0:39:07] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hang on. I got Nat's back on that one. Like, too much stoppage. Like, too much stoppage. Just play the game.
[0:39:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. Just
[0:39:13] Bread @_ToastMalone: play the damn game.
[0:39:14] xFactor @xFactorPOL: But as a as a dev building a platform that's heavily based on the success of American football
[0:39:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: On all of the sport.
[0:39:21] Bread @_ToastMalone: Listen, bro. Stop. I'm the only guy on the entire team and, like, these other little sub teams that help us do things and shit. I'm the only guy that's like, yo, hockey? Everyone's like, get the hell out of here. No. I'm like, yo. What? Of course, hockey. And so, yeah, of course, we're gonna do hockey. You know? Like... But football, bro, it just stops too much. It's too much stopping.
[0:39:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: It is, and it's so frustrating. Let them play.
[0:39:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Chill out. Alright. Here's everybody. So chill out. Let me say what's up to get... Talking about the... But baseball being a more entertaining sport than football. Just stop. Gex, what's up? How are you, my darling?
[0:39:55] Voice H: What is up, Dave? Cool. Nat Nat. And I have to say that baseball is far more entertaining than American football. Anyone who watched the Yan Muder. Dave's game last night, listen.
[0:40:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. Are you not entertained? Yes.
[0:40:10] Voice H: And listen, Nat Nat. I don't know why, but every time I see a piece of news, I'm like, I can't wait. I wonder if Nat Nat's gonna talk about this in our show tonight. So, guys, I did three updates today for the news. Like, it's like it won't stop coming. What is that song?
[0:40:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: What do mean?
[0:40:28] Voice H: The years start coming, and they don't start coming... Stop coming. You
[0:40:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: know? What? What do you got?
[0:40:33] Voice H: October, man. That's October.
[0:40:35] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Now. You're an all star. That one?
[0:40:36] Voice H: There you go.
[0:40:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, god. That's right.
[0:40:38] Voice H: You didn't leave me hanging.
[0:40:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: The other story I saw was MetaMask, perps. You guys see this via hyperliquid? Is this a great hyperliquid?
[0:41:02] xFactor @xFactorPOL: I I saw it, and I wanna test it out because I'm like, holy shit. Right from the wallet that I use all the time, this is awesome. I love this.
[0:41:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think this is fantastic new... News. And you know what it is? They're trying to get in on the fee structure too because I I noticed that if you trade directly on on, for example, Aster, the fees are less. But if you trade the... If you trade it via a trust trust wallet, the fees are more. Right? So they're getting in on feeds... On the fee structure because there's a lot a lot of money to be made of these perp deck. It's like millions and millions. I won't be surprised if it totals billions at one point because it's literally just getting started. Right? Imagine when... Once crypto is full blown and we get retail and get all of these things and everyone is using these perks. I think this is a money plane. I think it's really smart.
[0:41:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Do people use MetaMask? Are they actually educated enough to know how to use perks?
[0:41:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: I mean,
[0:41:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: you're not gonna feel about it. Wait minute. Hold on a minute. I'll get something. Alright.
[0:42:00] xFactor @xFactorPOL: I I I... I've never stopped using MetaMask. That was my first wallet, and it's the... It's my my main wallet besides my
[0:42:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: ledger. Exactly.
[0:42:08] xFactor @xFactorPOL: And four score and seven years ago. Okay? Alright. Madam, How
[0:42:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: long does it take you... X Factor, how long does it take you to dial up? Do you have to, like, connect the phone? Can you use it?
[0:42:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Alright. I'm on the phone.
[0:42:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Hang up. Mom, I'm trying to transfer some your bunch of I grew
[0:42:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: up with a floppy disk in.
[0:42:27] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Listen. Listen. First of all, I just installed those filters. Those... I I installed those filters that you put on the on the on the line. So, like, now when somebody calls my house, my connection doesn't fail. So I am all set. You guys are freaking a bunch of boomers.
[0:42:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: You have your caller ID set up and everything too?
[0:42:42] xFactor @xFactorPOL: I have a... I will... Yeah. If you
[0:42:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: have emergency, you do
[0:42:45] xFactor @xFactorPOL: need to text 911 to my beeper, and I'll be... I'll get back to you within three to five hours.
[0:42:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Does the beeper have a cool gold chain?
[0:42:53] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hey. Let's go to bread with his hand up. No. Sure. Hey. What's up?
[0:42:55] Kkoma @itskkoma: Wait. One one one second. One second. The... We all make fun of x factor right now, but I bet you he's gonna get the biggest, fattest airdrop, and and he's the... He's gonna be the one laughing at all of us day first.
[0:43:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: I bet you... I'll I'll take
[0:43:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: those odds. You wanna make a bet? I'll I'll take that bet all day every day that he is not going to be the one to make the biggest Yeah.
[0:43:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: That's the... Let not hear the capital.
[0:43:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's cap. Hey. Let's go to bread there. Unfortunately. Let's go to bread with his hand up... Without his hand.
[0:43:20] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hey. Thanks, Dave. Long time listener, know, first time caller type stuff. Yeah. No. The MetaMask thing. Right? Yes. Perp's great. But, like, also Polymarket integration directly in MetaMask. So, like, that's insane because straight up, I've been using MetaMask forever. You know? I also use Rabbi, and I also use Phantom, and I also use... I've got a trust wallet on my phone, and then I like Xirion. I think Xirion or Xirion Xirion is, like, one of the best UIs. Yeah. No. No. Check it out. Sweet.
[0:43:51] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Bread. Send the send the seed phrase, bro.
[0:43:54] Bread @_ToastMalone: Alright. It's fine. Give me a second. But, like, straight up, like, the the MetaMask poly market thing is gonna be huge because now you can, like, immediately swap and transfer to the USDCE staked Polygon that you need to in order to be placing all of these bets and doing all the stuff on Polygon. And so it's, like, one less spot of friction for more normies to come on.
[0:44:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, when Polymarket full US integration, bro? Like, when do we get to...
[0:44:20] Bread @_ToastMalone: Tomorrow, bro. I I... So my money is on tomorrow. Right? And, like, there isn't, like, a a line anywhere, I don't think, other than, like, between me and Banchu and Clay and, like, some of the guys on the team. Like, we all kinda, like, have a back going to see, like, when. Right? Because my money's on tomorrow, bro, right before the weekend in football. Like, Thursday night football, I think I think before this weekend, they launch it. Couple of the other guys think Saturday or Friday. Some guys think next week. But, like, dude, it wouldn't surprise me if it's tomorrow. So I don't know. I'm number, like, 58,000 or 60,000 or some shit in line, I guess. Did you sign up?
[0:44:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. I also...
[0:45:01] Bread @_ToastMalone: The Go sign up. Did you sign up? Did you sign up for Polymer US? Oh, okay.
[0:45:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: 100%. 100%. Yeah. I did it yesterday or two days ago. Come on. I'm coming to you in a second, but can we start the flood campaign against Try Limitless now? Because I've been seeing across the entire timeline, and I didn't get now. I was left on the outside two fifty, so I don't give a shit about the rest of y'all, but the full flood campaign is gonna start. Because number one, this guy CJ is literally announcing to the whole world, hey. We have new APIs. We have this. I can't get a simple position API to reflect properly. We can't get it, to reflect properly which is a problem. And then everybody's like, I put in a 100,000 and I got, like, $50 as an allocation? But, I mean, that's to their own idiocy. It's like, what the hell are you thinking? Like, they asked to raise a million dollars and you put in, like, a 100,000 on, like, day four. What are you, like... I mean, dense? Like...
[0:45:46] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I got I got... I put in I put in... I joined probably day one, like, minute when limit... Limits... Limitless went live, put in... The minute... I didn't put too much. Just, like, a grand or something. I got $35 allocation. You know, the funny thing is I wasn't mad. I wasn't mad because I saw people dropping over a $100 getting $55 in allocation. So I'm happy with my with my $35. If he does the two, three x, no problem. I'll get it... I... I'll get some little money, buy some ice cream or something. I'm happy. It's all good. But that is kinda crazy, though. I mean, you you... They should've closed it early and allow people a lot a lot of allocation. You cannot give people $35 allocation by depositing a 100 k. That makes no sense.
[0:46:34] Bread @_ToastMalone: I will second the fact that their APIs are... Yeah. I've been playing around with those two.
[0:46:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Total shit. Total shit. Like, get your stuff to get... Bro, let me tell you something. If this thing cooks, for god bless. I want everybody to make money. But just keep... Just... Like, don't lose sight of the fact that this thing only made a couple $100,000 and that, like, it's hyped up like crazy. Love the baseball, but, like, there's gonna be a point where there's gonna be a short position that's gonna be screaming. I don't know where that is, but I don't know. Like, just be very, very weary and see, like, what's what when it comes to try limitless. But... Yeah.
[0:47:07] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. Dude, don't don't forget it's hype, bro. It's hype. That that crypto protocol is basically built on hype. So even though the UI or the protocol might be horrible, as long as there's hype, man, money's gonna be made. But they're they're willing to raise 1,000,000. They raised 200,000,000 plus in weeks. That is insane. That's hype. They they got the hype from the party market hype, the Kyto hype, the watching hype, k o k o l hype like Dave, the the biggest KOL in the space right now like you. People people like you, you know, the hype from that. So, yeah, man, that's why I was popping off, man.
[0:47:46] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. Well, I mean, I'm I'm I'm still not... I'm not completely bearish on them, though. Right? I mean, like, I think all this FUD campaign around airdrops and things like that is kinda like, well, I mean, like, I I don't know. Beggars can't be choosers. Right? Profit is profit. Take what you can get. Congratulations. You got in early. Like, who knows how that plays out long run. You know what I mean? Like, they're one of, like, only a couple that I can... I think there's two total or three maybe that are prediction markets on Base. And Base has a huge ecosystem, and they're already exposed to tons of capital and tons of liquidity through Coinbase. You know? So, I mean, I think a prediction market on base is bullish. You know? Will it be them is, like, really kinda the question. But, like, the fact that they're in the running to be the prediction market on base is bullish.
[0:48:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Fair. Yeah. And so everybody is aware of, like, where the prediction market, like, landscape is currently. I put this... Like, I wrote this whole thread. I think it was, two, three weeks ago. But between... Like, you have limitless on base, you have abs... You have Myriad on abstract and linear, you have Melee coming that's still in beta on Solana, and, obviously, you have Poly... The giant Poly market, like, pretty much, like, the leader on Polygon. So there's, you know, tons of different chains. I'm gonna be curious to see if one of these other, like, l twos or or or one of the, like, you know, like, some apps... I don't know. Like, a Monad or something, like, for somebody to come out and start building up on one of these other chains. It's gonna be interesting to see kinda, like, where... Like, who... Like, the competition and how it's gonna heat up. But, obviously, it's clear, like, who the leaders are now. So, you know, position accordingly. But, yeah, come on. Go for it, bro, and then we'll say what's up to Lendi. Yeah.
[0:49:27] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. I just... Like, I thought... And I know we talked about this in the back channels, but, like, how is Polymarket getting away with betting spreads? Like, because to me, that's just what a traditional sports book is. So, like, just because you're saying, like, yes or no on plus or minus three... Like, it's kinda weird. You're not really saying yes or no on plus or minus three. You're, like, literally just saying plus three or minus three. Right? So, like, I don't... I thought the whole point of Polymarket was to get away from, like, the whole, like, regulation aspects of actual traditional sports betting, which is kinda get... Which is always, like, heavily scrutinized. Like, it's not even technically legal to bet in California. So how how is Polymarket getting away with at least even doing spread betting?
[0:50:10] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. So... Alright. Go for it. You wanna say it, Dave?
[0:50:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. Go go ahead, bro. Go ahead.
[0:50:13] Bread @_ToastMalone: Alright. Yeah. Yeah. So, like... And and ultimately, it boils down to, like, the the fact that there's no house. There's no, like, house fee on Polymarket. Right? Like, Polymarket doesn't collect fees on your shit right now. You know, we'll see what happens with US. Right? So that... Because of that, you're getting, like, true market fair odds on a binary decision. You know? It... It's not like you could... You you would have to bet separate to get, you know, the plus three, the plus four, and the plus five. You know? Like... And on a prediction market, each one of those... Like, it's not its own category. It's not its own, essentially, like, it's not a it's not a bet. It... It's a it's a it's a prediction. Guess, you know, I'm like, it's on a binary outcome. So it doesn't, it doesn't fall under those types of sports, like, rules.
[0:51:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Do guys ever see Molly's game? Right? You remember that? Like, when Molly was, like, running those poker games, it's like she was running a game, but at the end of the day, she wasn't taking a rake. Right? And if you're not taking a rake, at the end of the day, like, it's legit. It's kind of the same thing. And they have been... And, they have been lobbying, if you remember, as of very recently. Like, these conversations have been going on. And between CFTC, SEC, there's a reason why Don Junior got on the board of Polymarket. Right? Like, literally bought in. It was like, alright. Is something I wanna do. Right? And when you have that, the regulatory aspect becomes a lot clearer. But, yeah, I I think because it's... You... Like what Brett said, you're not taking a rake. You're offering, like, those no fees. But like we said yesterday, the money is is gonna be everywhere just for the... Like, the the the the the data feed in and of itself. So... Yeah. But I think it's a good question. I guess something that we could we could obviously still track, but this is just moving so fast, man. It's crazy. It is just moving so, so fast. I don't think people really have time to, like... You know how before with the SEC, they were like, we're taking comments on this. You know how they do that? We're gonna open up to the public, and we're gonna take some comments on this and this and, like, you're like, yeah. No. No. Forget comments. Like, we're just literally pushing this whole thing along. But let's say what's up to puppet. Landy, what is cooking, bro? Bitcoin, little bouncy bounce, getting back up to the way it's supposed to go when all season.
[0:52:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, look, you know, I was gonna respond to come and say, California, you know, it it might be illegal, but we're just making predictions. And,
[0:52:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: you know, the the
[0:52:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: the prediction, that I made yesterday about Bitcoin coming back to the one twenty to one twenty one area, has occurred, and now it bounced back to the upside. But, you know, we'll see if it's going to, continue to try to run the highs and maybe a little bit higher or, you know, if it... If we get a deeper correction from here for Bitcoin. You know, if we... I've said this before. Below $1.20, look, $1.16, $1.18 is, the big level to pay attention to. It's a big upside move. We're looking for higher lows from here. That's the next, you know, big thing. Could this be it? You know, maybe this is definitely gonna be a swing higher low, but closing higher lows are are what you wanna keep an eye out for for the trend reversal setup. You know, everybody's like, well, it's an uptrend. Well, technically, no. It's straight up off of a lower low. So it's... It needs to put in some structure. We need to see we needed to see a pullback after a weekend pump. So, you know, just keep an eye on the markets. You know, above a 125, 120, 130 is the big area. Probably mid one thirties from there if it does start closing above one thirty. And then we're looking one thirty eight to one forty to the upside, but beware that we drop one twenty, you know, one nineteen and a half, one twenty, we're probably gonna head to one sixteen, one eighteen.
[0:54:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Which which would be okay because we we need that structure in order to move on.
[0:54:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely.
[0:54:07] xFactor @xFactorPOL: This is probably financial advice, guys. Take notes.
[0:54:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'd never give financial advice. I purely make predictions. This is... If you would like financial advice, I can I I can take some payment? I am licensed, and I can give you some financial advice and manage your portfolio. But... And it won't be me. I'll just give it to somebody else, but my name will be on it. And I'll get all the money, and they'll get a little pittance, and I'll take them to lunch.
[0:54:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: But We take them to pizza. Pete... Have a pizza party.
[0:54:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. They can have a pizza party.
[0:54:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're such a... Yeah. You know, styling and profiling, you boomer. She's a pizza party. Don't tell me, okay, that this one is, a young 26 years old. You had a son.
[0:54:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: 26? You you aged me by one year, David? How dare you? Me.
[0:54:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: Never never predict a woman's age and get it wrong, sir.
[0:54:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, I just You will
[0:55:00] xFactor @xFactorPOL: pay Especially Hispanic. If a Hispanic tells you your age, add 10 to that easily comfortably. Really
[0:55:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: long. Real quick. Real quick. I do... While we were here, I got a DM from Ninja. He said, I also may or may not be getting some support from Polymarket. Let's fucking go. Polymarket is now back in action. Work with them to get all the fixes in place. So Polymarket, ladies and gentlemen, is reenabled in Tater Trader. I need y'all to go check out the spud, alright, and play around with this stuff because this is fucking cool as... Oh, excuse me. This is lovely and cool and amazing and great. Yes.
[0:55:38] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Are you
[0:55:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: sure it's not rad? But it's not rad. Yeah. Look look. As for alt season, my prediction is coming true. I predicted that we would not see an alt season just yet, and that remains true. I also predicted that whenever we do, you're gonna see a massive rotational alt season. And a lot of people are gonna be very sad because they're very heavy into very specific things that are likely going to have to wait their turn for some some sunshine. But, you know, that's kinda... That's the name of the game. The market's evolving. Things looking good. I'm... I... I'm enjoying the government shutdown. I hope everyone else is as well. This is likely going to reverse markets when the government opens up again, so probably gonna see a nice little reversal. Yeah. That's that's kind of where we are in history, by the way, when it comes to government shutdowns. If you look at every prior government shutdown, like a major shutdown, Dave, don't rug us. That's kind of where we're at. So...
[0:56:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, Dave Dave, you may you may wanna stand with your hands out and one foot up. Yeah. So space won't rug.
[0:57:01] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Hi, Dave. I... Lather yourself in maple syrup immediately so the tomatoes
[0:57:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: are clean....
[0:57:05] Landy @CryptoLandy: Seasoning. He's like, you know what? I'm rugging this thing.
[0:57:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: While while we're speaking on on the coins, on tokens, Dave, do you mind if I...
[0:57:14] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: I have always been curious on that, Landy. Like, why why is there the correlation government shutdown equals market up and down if it's back up? Like...
[0:57:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: The... Well... Okay. So one of the...
[0:57:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: Because it's question and they pump it. Basically,
[0:57:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: like... It's a bit complex. So when when the government shuts down, you know, it... Really, what is it affecting? It's affecting government services. And, that's where, like, we just had, Trump stepped in and gave, like, a 100,000,000,000 from the tariff revenue to, the women, infant, and children's program, to to make sure that that everyone's still getting their their, their checks, cause that is a federal program that is managed by the states. But, realistically... Alright. It... It's a big bunch of BS because the funding is technically for next year. Like, everybody got their funding for the books outside of direct payment programs. So direct payment programs are what need the funding in the intermediate time frames. But, like, you know, Social Security already funded out. Like, it's it's those other ancillary programs that are attached onto major government subsidy programs. But, like, contractors, you know, they're already funded out in most cases outside of, like, immediate need contracts, right, for this month or the end of the year that were maybe just signed, because they pull back on any spending. If there's nobody there to spend it, like, then they they... You know? So what does everybody do? Well, you can continue to do things like take your money and invest it into the market while you're waiting for auctions. Secondary tends to go wild because there still needs to be churn, and there's still investors looking to... And the banks still need to to get money out there and and keep rotating that money. So instead of it going through a lot of these different they go through the the the actual traditional market, secondary markets.
[0:59:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: So quest... Nat, real quick. Oh, actually, Nat, go ahead. I don't if you wanna chat on on something that Lenny just said, but I wanna chat about the next Bitcoin Cash App story.
[0:59:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, yeah. No. I I wanted to touch on this Ethereum story just real quick because I I I I I want the audience to hear both sides of the story. Right? Because we speak a lot of how great the markets are doing and Bitcoin and how there's a potential that it might catch up to gold. But there... We... I feel like we have to share this story just so everyone can be aware. It's one to note, not saying anything bad is gonna happen, just note it. This is from Cointelegraph. The Ethereum stake in withdrawal queue has surpassed over $10,000,000,000. That's 2,400,000 e, pushing the average wait time to over forty one days. So I just wanted to to... Didn't want that story to slide since we're talking about how great the markets are. If you like to balance things out, that tidbit will help.
[1:00:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Little by little, you're trying to essentially look at all your staking rewards. Sell it all.
[1:00:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sell it to Bitcoin. It's all over.
[1:00:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: Appreciate the correction. Use those profits to get get some some Bitcoin. That's what all these stakers are gonna be doing. I know that that's one of the bigger things I'm gonna be doing. And, also, I'm waiting in queue. Twenty six days estimate right now for me.
[1:00:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. Landy's not happy
[1:00:54] xFactor @xFactorPOL: with 50% of the Bitcoin supply. He needs more.
[1:00:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Market maker, Andy.
[1:00:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Satoshi. Yeah. Exactly. I was
[1:01:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: called Satoshi Nakamoto on the timeline today, so I
[1:01:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: You are definitely not Satoshi Nakamoto with a bald head and a long ass beard, Cholo. There's no way. Okay? Never
[1:01:09] Bread @_ToastMalone: gonna happen.
[1:01:10] Landy @CryptoLandy: I got my socks. My my my socks do come up to my knees too. I'm wearing them today. I got...
[1:01:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: I believe it. I can't get I can't get the image of Landy hopping out the car out of my head. Like, that's Of
[1:01:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: a red, like, iRock z or some shit. You know what
[1:01:23] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean? Like, man, you know that's the right environment. I was 17 when I had that IROC z. Thank you very much. And that's true. That's 100% true, and it was a red IROC z.
[1:01:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. So let's let let... Let's chat about... You see the story that Brett put up on top, but, this is a big one. Right? Like, Square Bitcoin debut. Essentially, it lets merchants accept, convert, and hold BTC in one platform. So Jack Dorsey is thinking about instituting 0% Bitcoin fees, and that is a massive massive move because that's gonna connect Square with things like Cash App. Right? So now merchants are not gonna be getting charged. Right? Because, like, you implement Bitcoin on the Lightning Network. He's making a bet that, like, this is the way to go. This is Bitcoin utility. I think this is a massive story now because now Bitcoin being able to be accept... Like, being accepted everywhere Cash App is accepted, which is a shit ton of places. Right? Like, for everyone that either has a Cash App card accepted in Apple Pay, a ton of people are using Cash App. And before, it was only able to, you know, buy and sell Bitcoin. You're able to only hold it. But now with Jack instituting this and making the bet that, look, the point of sale is going to be Bitcoin Lightning Network, I think is a is a huge story. And I think once, like, once, like, business owners really grasp what this is. Right? Your local bodega owner, your local bakery, your local plumber, your local whoever is now gonna start accepting Cash App payments in Bitcoin, right, eventually at 0%, right, where they're not gonna have to get charged and they're gonna get to own Bitcoin, well, that's a no brainer. And I think, like, then you're gonna start seeing some crazy adoption numbers. And I don't know whether they go out and they sell, but when you appeal like that to small and there's 55,000,000 of them here in The United States, that's a massive, massive move. Nat, go
[1:03:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: for it. I think this is this is groundbreaking. But just to dumb it down a little bit. So what what... Essentially, what he's saying is that Jack Dorsey created a Bitcoin wallet solution. And if you own a local business, you can accept BTC payments for your business with a... With zero fees. And I think that zero fees part is very, very important because as a business owner myself, and I'm trying to accept Bitcoin, the fees are... Or the Bitcoin fees are insane. So as a as a business owner, you'll save a lot of money, but then also you you can you can, what's that word? You get a crypto bags. You get Bitcoin. Who doesn't want Bitcoin? Who does not want Bitcoin? Right? Especially since we're still early. We're we're in the beginning phases now with the mass adoption coming through and retail isn't here yet and all that good stuff. I feel like this is such a massive win for business. Right? Because you get to accept, cash and you get to accept Bitcoin.
[1:04:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Axe. Yo.
[1:04:10] Bread @_ToastMalone: The biggest... Yeah. Like, I'm so excited about this because, like, remember, like, a couple of months ago, Dorsey also came out with his stand alone app, you know, BitChat. Right? And that allowed people to transfer Bitcoin to each other without any Wi Fi or cell service.
[1:04:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bluetooth?
[1:04:30] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. Exactly. Yes. Via Bluetooth. Right? So, like... Well... Okay. So now... And if Square is providing rails for that and all you're doing is transferring Bitcoin payments, then, like, you won't need Square, essentially. You know? Like, it can all just be proximity based. You know? Like, you can just... Over Bluetooth. You don't even have to pay Starlink, an Internet provider, like, nothing. It's just straight, like, end to end. Why why Starlink? For Wi Fi anywhere, you know, or service if you're on a phone. I mean, I don't know. Like... Or pay AT and T for your broadband. I don't... You know, whatever. But, like, ultimately, as long as you have Bluetooth is what I'm saying, and it would be end to end payments, like, on rails for businesses. That's insane. That's an entire, like, industry shakeup type of thing if that's where he's building this and getting us to.
[1:05:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Because Dorsey was... Has been extremely outspoken for those that are literally living under a rock. Like, if you have not seen the interview with Jack Dorsey, he has literally said to everyone, Bitcoin needs utility. It can't just be this store of value at the end of the day. Right? Because he sees, like, how it is either in, like, South American countries, across Asia, right, like, where Bitcoin has real utility and is being spent every day in local shops and wants to bring that, obviously, like, to, like, The United States and, obviously, across, like, to these other, like, developed nations because it... I agree with him. It... There has to be some sort of, like, utility for it, and it can't just be, hey. We're holding this. Like, I fully agree with Jack in this one. And, Brett, to your point, I love how he named BitChat. If you guys saw it with b I t c h with the at sign, that was my fit. That... I thought that was the most genius marketing move ever. It was like, BitChat?
[1:06:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: What's... He... He's not dumb, dude.
[1:06:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: That shit was great.
[1:06:17] Bread @_ToastMalone: I love it. He's he's not dumb, man, and it wouldn't... Again, it wouldn't surprise me if that was strategic. Like, end to end, it would be crazy, bro. I I really hope that's where it ends up.
[1:06:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're gonna say wouldn't surprise me if he was Satoshi Nakamoto. But
[1:06:29] Bread @_ToastMalone: No, dude. He's dead. No. We already covered that. It's why it's why Leslie's still here.
[1:06:33] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I mean, so we... Exactly. We know who Satoshi is. But I I do
[1:06:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: wanna Let's go to the real
[1:06:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Go ahead. Go ahead.
[1:06:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Sorry. Now I was gonna say, let's go to the real Satoshi Nakamoto with the beard as a puppet.
[1:06:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: Oh my god. So, you know, look. Is this is all fine and dandy and fun and stuff. It's only catching heat because it's Jack Dorsey because apparently no one has been paying attention to the fact that National Cash Cards with the corporation, NCR Voyage, has been able to do this for merchants and retailers for a very, very, very, very long time. And they had a big deal because the the problem that they had wasn't the tech side of the problem. It was the processor side of the problem. And in 2022, they made a deal with, BitPay, and they made a deal with Coinbase Commerce, and then they made a deal with Strike. This is not new. Anyone can do it. I actually helped set up a whole bunch of smoke shops here in California, as part of a big meeting that they came to and a talk that I was giving about exactly this because I was working with NCR before they became NCR Voyage on a on a contract to help get Bitcoin, out to retailers in California. And when I say smoke shops, I am talking about the big smoke shops. Right? We're talking about marijuana shops here in California, also, tobacco smoke shops and glassware shops. Right? So go and you pick up your nicotine vapes, you pick up your bongs and your your your your vaporizers and all this other crap. Well, they do a ton of business, and they do a ton of volume through NCR. And they... When... The significance of this is the integration with something that that people are familiar with, like a Cash App. Because this is something that's already pretty tightly integrated with many of their systems because a lot of these NCR systems automatically communicate with them. But there's a 1% transaction fee. Right? So the... It's not a network fee. In fact, almost none of them have... They're all zero network fees, especially Strike. They're, like... They're famously zero network fee for this stuff through merchants, but it's the settlement side. Right? So it... It's the processor fee. Is it one... And they're about 1%. So if he comes in at zero, that's going to be an end to end straight wall to wallet transaction that does shake up and and shake up the game, but this is more about who it is. It's not... I mean, NCR is the largest point of sale system servicer in The United States and I believe in the world still. I... They they have been getting eaten into in certain Asian markets, but here in The United States and in the West, in general, it's NCR and it's NCR everywhere. And even these other different companies that are selling point of sale systems use NCR on the back end. But the NCR's sober plan for for a lot of these merchants is the way to go. I'd... I've helped onboard, like, I think it was somewhere around a 150 different businesses in California on this when I was working with NCR, back in '22. And it was a per... It was perfect timing for a lot of these, merchants to get onboarded because a lot of people... You know, Bitcoin was fairly cheap. Right? It was in a bear market, and, everybody was, like, really bored. Like, let's go just smoke some weed. So they were all going into these these places and and, absolutely getting ripped and spending a lot of money. And some of these places, this actually allowed... Bitcoin allowed a lot of these businesses to actually expand. A good friend of mine owns... You know, he started out with one vape shop, and now he's got six. And he's in he's in multiple counties in California now because of his, because of bringing Bitcoin in. And the funny part about this is is the weed game in California knew about Bitcoin. They loved Bitcoin. They've loved it for a very long time since the Silk Road days. The drug game loved it. Right? They were all over it. And so when they moved in to start doing this in the retail sector, it was actually one of the preferred ways to do it once it was available. It was just about having the the infrastructure to do it because they were going just wall to wallet and and made books really messed up. So having the POS system right there and all of the different record keeping all in one place was a big deal. But a Jack Dorsey can push this to a much bigger level because most people have no idea. Right? They're like, a national cash register allows you to, to spend Bitcoin at merchants. Right? No one cares. Right? Retail doesn't care, but a lot of retail pays attention to a guy like Jack Dorsey and what kind of moves he's making, even if he's a little less visible today.
[1:11:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. And you know what? That's a very interesting point because it... Sometimes it's what the company can do, but it's also who's part of it and who's behind it. Because if NCR had a Jack Dorsey or someone else that was very, very well known, they would have pushed them higher. But I... One one thing I wanted to note about Jack Dorsey, you know, he travels a lot, but was it yes... Was it yesterday that we were talking about how millionaires and billionaires, like, you could see them on the street, you won't recognize them cause they look like really, really homeless and then, like, they don't dress up or shower or anything like
[1:12:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: that. Slip rock.
[1:12:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Jack Dorsey is one of them. Like, he was in in in in South America, and he was just, like, walking by, like, a regular individual, and no one recognized him because the... Like, he didn't even dress up or anything like that. Right? And I I think that's like a... One can say that in my point of view, it's, like, really humble of them. Right? Because they can they can, like, dress themselves up and, like, let themselves be known, but the fact that they're willing to just walk around incognito like that, I like that.
[1:12:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. But I I think it it also shows... It makes it makes it easier to draw less attention to you because if you work that much, you're not gonna be walking around with a massive chain in your neck and driving a land board. Those those dumb things. Right? I guess another thing is they do understand the value of power of money. They don't need to
[1:12:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: to show it to them.
[1:12:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yep. Right? So it's it's it's... You have that kind of money. You... You're you're... It it makes no sense. They... They're that powerful that nothing drives them... Money money doesn't drive them anymore. They they work couple $100,100,000,000,000. Like, that... Like, what what they could they could have whatever they want whenever they want. So they they don't have any reason to show off to anyone. They could buy whatever they want. So it's it's a different mentality. I think it'll be good for a lot of people to try to adopt that mentality because trust me, a... You you will save yourself a lot of headache by trying to trying to impress people that don't even care about you.
[1:13:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: I agree 100%. And it's always it's always the the... One one thing I've always said, and I noticed this in my career as I started, like, moving up, broke is loud. Wealth is quiet, and you... We're seeing that, like, literally playing out today.
[1:13:44] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I'll give you... I'll give it's okay. I had a friend, I guess, her her neighbor. Yeah. This is what when I lived in, like, close to DC. She... Her neighbor had this massive, massive house. It was like a like a six bedroom house or seven bedroom, three car garage. She went there for for, like, a, like, a dinner with her kids, and the house is empty. The house is empty. It was all for sure. So she could afford the house, but couldn't really afford to to furnish the house. That is what I'm talking about, mate. It's just... People are crazy. Yeah.
[1:14:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: So that's called... That's the thing. Right? It's called house court. Right? When you spend all of your money in the house and you can't afford anything else but literally the walls in the house.
[1:14:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's like boiler room. Remember? It's like, hey. Do you that
[1:14:29] Kkoma @itskkoma: thing? Okay?
[1:14:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's just
[1:14:31] xFactor @xFactorPOL: saying liquid. It happens it happens with cars too, especially, like, in big cities. Like, in Miami, see, like, yo. This guy's got a Bentley. Nice. And he's like, alright. He lives in Southwest H 3 with his mom. What the hell is
[1:14:40] Landy @CryptoLandy: going on there? But he's got a he's got a freaking... He's got a Porsche, and then he's gotta go park it in a in a paid in a paid area and then walk over and rent his Motel six because that's where he stays out
[1:14:52] Bread @_ToastMalone: of it.
[1:14:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: We're we're
[1:14:53] xFactor @xFactorPOL: laughing about this, but this is real life, bro. It happens all the time down here.
[1:14:56] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. No. Joe. Like, I I watched the video. This is, at last week, man. I I I don't watch news, so I need entertain... My entertainment is YouTube, Netflix, and crypto Twitter. So you... YouTube, I saw a video. This is a very common in Miami. I don't know why. I guess, trying to impress the females there. Right? Miami is notorious for young people. Will rent they will rent a a Lamborghini or Ferrari
[1:15:21] xFactor @xFactorPOL: They're people.
[1:15:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: For two weeks. With a car. Yeah. Yes. They'll they'll they'll rent it for two weeks and take multiple pictures, post on social media. And once that two week, whatever is done, they'll return it and go back to their little Honda Civic. But that that flash thing, it is in... It is an epidemic over there in in in Miami, man. It's crazy.
[1:15:42] Landy @CryptoLandy: Southern California is the same way, man.
[1:15:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Same way. Same thing. No.
[1:15:46] xFactor @xFactorPOL: But I've seen I've seen I've seen shit like this happen, like, literally right before my eyes. Like, oh, Papi, you got a Lambo. Gets in the Lambo really quick. Oh, you home? Oof. No. You know what? You know, it's I... I'm tied up with some things. I can't really take you right now. Like, like, wait. They'd rather be caught cheating. They're like, sorry, man. I got a wipe at home. I can't take you home, sweetheart. You know, like, what are we doing over here, guys? It's clown shit. It's really easy to read through, I think.
[1:16:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mom, get the meatloaf ready. I'm bringing home a date. What happens
[1:16:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: to crypto Twitter here as we head to a lot of... In KOLs, we know a lot of people you see flexing on the timeline. A lot of them are doing exact same thing, man. So just be careful where you take your
[1:16:26] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'll give you
[1:16:26] Kool @koolcryptovc: advice from.
[1:16:27] Landy @CryptoLandy: Maybe a quick story.
[1:16:28] Kkoma @itskkoma: A quick story.
[1:16:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Such a good one too, bro. But go ahead. You
[1:16:31] Kkoma @itskkoma: go first.
[1:16:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was in Southern California, down down near, like, Southern San Diego area. There's some money there. And when you go... When I'm going to the city, I'm going in for business. And, we had a lead on a a a fairly substantial, you know, supposed fairly substantial crypto project that was looking to partner with the city. Right? This is starting to happen in... You know, like, you're seeing it in New York and LA and San Francisco and in Florida. Like, they... They're trying to offer some services. And I go down to meet this guy at... You know, just meet him at a restaurant, and then we were to go. We're gonna meet in one of the offices in in one of the buildings down there. I don't wanna give too much away, but he pulls up in a Ferrari. And I'm like, man, this is not gonna be good. So he comes in, and he starts giving us his pitch right then and there. And I'm like, look, man. You gotta wait for it. We're just here having some lunch. We're we're chilling out. This is Southern California, man. It's... We're new. We don't... We're gonna relax first, and then we're gonna go have our meeting and stuff like that. And he's immediately...
[1:17:44] xFactor @xFactorPOL: And he can't just raw dog a business deal. Right?
[1:17:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. He's, like, immediately pitching us and, like, we're trying to eat and stuff. We wanna kinda get a feel for him. Right? So you see what he's about.
[1:17:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: He's about...... Gotta be back.
[1:17:55] Landy @CryptoLandy: Stop it. He's... Yeah. Dude, exactly. This is... Dave knew right away as soon as he came up because we're, taking our time. You... Okay. So we already know this in Southern California. When they're paying for the rental, they're paying for... They're paying per half hour. It's not even It's hourly, isn't it? No. It's not even per hour. It's per half hour. We know what they're paying. So me me and my business partner look and we're like, you know what? Actually, I think we're gonna go next door and we're gonna get some some shakes and shit. We're gonna do a few things. We have we have one more person that we're waiting for to meet, and he is, like, pitching us hard on the side of the street while we're walking to the other place. And we we look... We get there, we're looking at him, we're just watching him, we start laughing. He's like, what's funny? I was like, like, when does the car need to be back? And he's like, oh, man. He's like, I probably gotta get it back in the next hour so I can only afford it for the next hour. Like, bro, this deal is going nowhere. This deal is going nowhere. I was like, you wanna... We're, like, basically kinda called him out. Like, you're just trying to get in with some of the city aren't you? And then you're like,
[1:19:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: oh. Oh. Lindy. Lindy. So I have a similar story, but it's not... It doesn't involve... Well, yeah, technically, it involves me, but, I wasn't pitching anybody on a business meeting. So where I lived in Hollywood, right outside my window. Right? Because it's like I lived on Hollywood Boulevard. Right? And right outside my window on the corner of, like, Hollywood and La Brea, there was literally, like, rent this Ferrari, like, you know, by the hour or half hour or fifteen minutes, whatever. Right?
[1:19:32] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's still there.
[1:19:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It... I'm sure it is. I'm sure it is. You know? And there was two guys that used to run it all the time, and and my office was literally a block away. Every time I'd walk by, I'd talk to the guys and say, what's up? Whatever. So I got to know them a little bit. Right? So sometimes I would see them out there. I'd be like, oh, you guys want to... Yeah. You want something to drink or whatever? And I'd bring them down from, like, my apartment. And they'd be like... And I'm like, you know, what if... You know, let me let me take this thing for a spin one day. Bro, let me tell you something. What you under... When you... You will understand how shallow of a city you live in when you just drive around in a Ferrari. Okay? And I understand why some of these people do it because the insecurity must be through the roof because people do look, they do pay attention. But the ones who the ones who need to matter, like, that you need to impress will never be impressed by that shit. Okay? You impress the people that you, like, that you want to impress that are, like, trying to, like, maybe think that that's what they wanna achieve. But the ones that you're gonna go... Like, to Landy's story, if you're gonna try and pitch somebody on some real shit, they're not gonna be buying your stuff. Real money is not going to fall for that nonsense. Yeah.
[1:20:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. Real money is gonna go away.
[1:20:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's not
[1:20:42] xFactor @xFactorPOL: just real money, man. It's like you're, yeah, you're not you're not pitching you're not pitching things or whatever material things you have to somebody. It's an idea or yourself if that's the case. So, like, you know, you gotta be confident and actually do that and execute, not forget. Somebody's not...... Money. Somebody with real money or with a real business is not gonna go after your car, bro.
[1:21:01] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Real money doesn't show up in a fucking Ferrari. Sorry. Like, that's not... In fact, you know, it was funny because we we kinda put the guy in that position to begin with because we were speculating. If it was somebody that we knew prior, we would have got him a car service, and he would have been he would have been brought to us. Right? Like, we wouldn't have had to go and do his own thing, but we wanted to check out... He's a little behind the scenes. We wanted to check out what he's really about. And when he showed up like that and he just... He's got the gold watch on, it's... It wasn't even a real... What... Yeah. I'm not...
[1:21:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Canal Street? The Folex? Oh my god. The Folex from Canal Street.
[1:21:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Thank you. No.
[1:21:42] Bread @_ToastMalone: It was
[1:21:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: a What's about that feeling from the back?
[1:21:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That... You can go When you go all the way to the back of the shop, I'm like, where am I going over here? Y'all get
[1:21:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: upset. Exactly.
[1:21:53] xFactor @xFactorPOL: It's It's me. Automatic... Automatic thing.
[1:21:56] Landy @CryptoLandy: We call them discount out here because is the... Is becoming a bigger thing out
[1:22:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: here now.
[1:22:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: The discount. And, you know, and he's... You know, he he he dressed well and, like, he... But his his his energy, everything about... Because that's what you're looking at. Right? That's what you're looking at when you're gonna do... Because he wants us to go in on the deal with him. You're pitching us and the whole... Like, he should have known, and this is how we knew he wasn't experienced in the business world. He should have known. If we did our background, we would have had him... We would have been catering to him, not meeting him at a smaller place to get lunch. We would have been, like, meeting him at dinner the night before. Right? Like, had a car service bring him out, pay for his hotel, and put him... You know? But we knew that he was either bootstrapping or he was scamming.
[1:22:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes.
[1:22:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: And by the end of that conversation, we ended up, of course, not having the meeting because he was clearly just trying to show off, but that works in certain places. He didn't understand. Southern California is laid back. Like, we're gonna take care of you. We're gonna hang out. We're gonna do a few things first, get to know you, and then we're gonna go to... Not New York where this might
[1:23:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: sound like more people... Not even in New York. Not even in New York because I've been into business meetings too, and you're... And it... It's all about energy. Right? Your energy introduces you in a room before anything else. Right? And in New York, to be honest, nobody's looking at... Everybody's taking the subway. Right? Where are you gonna park at? Where are you gonna park? You gonna park in
[1:23:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: the building? Yeah. The parking cost just as much as the rental,
[1:23:31] Landy @CryptoLandy: if not more, bro. Like, legit.
[1:23:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. When I used to work on Wall Street, I used to wake up some days. I'm like, I don't feel like taking the subway. This was towards the later time. I'm like, let me just try it. You know I mean? Let me just take the car. Until I finally get to the parking lot, it's, $74, and you need to be out by, like, 04:12. And I'm like, oh my god. I'm an idiot.
[1:23:48] Landy @CryptoLandy: Or you're or you're paying way more, bro.
[1:23:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exactly. But what Crazy. From a female perspective. Right? Don't rent cars. Don't rent Lamborghinis and do stuff like that, man. It is so tacky and so corny. Like, if you don't have it, you don't have it. It's fine. Right? But you you dig yourself in a hold playing this facade, right, or playing pretend. Like, this is the real world. Some of us don't care about that kind of stuff. It just makes you look bad.
[1:24:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: Real money real money shows up with their own security. You do
[1:24:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: you do do you think
[1:24:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: it's it's it's mostly younger people doing this between ages 20 to, like, 27?
[1:24:29] xFactor @xFactorPOL: This And
[1:24:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: this thing's old... Bro. It's it's
[1:24:32] xFactor @xFactorPOL: it's old timers. I swear to you, it's old timers, bro.
[1:24:34] Kool @koolcryptovc: Crazy. Because I I I used to think it's, you know, younger people, they do this. You you try to get on social media to, get girls, all that stuff. But didn't... I I
[1:24:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: seen the people in the group?
[1:24:45] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Young timers can't afford freaking the rent... The rental on on these things, Phil. You know what I'm saying?
[1:24:49] Kool @koolcryptovc: Like No. No. I old... It's old
[1:24:51] xFactor @xFactorPOL: timers that are, like, middle class or below.
[1:24:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's it's it's extremely popular on Instagram. Instagram and, you know, a lot of people go to Dubai. You would see it all the time, and people, they will rent these big big mansions in Miami and take pictures and you you use... It's pretty crazy, though, man. But I think Instagram... I I I stopped using Instagram years ago. I mean, it's... It is a cesspool of this stuff. You... I think I remember my my my friend told me, said, look. If you are on Instagram, you... They will make you feel like your life is worthless because you will see people your age flying to all these countries, driving all these cars, doing all this stuff, and not realizing, yo, how how are you my age, and you're this successful, so you're psychic and depressed, but not realizing all this stuff is not even theirs, man. I mean, it's... You're you're flexing stuff that's that's that's not even yours. It's pretty crazy how how the... Like I said, I'm... Crypto, 100%, I know people do it here for sure. Absolutely. And that's the reason why I keep saying, just be careful with who you follow, who
[1:25:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: you watch
[1:25:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: because people that have money crypto, they don't... They they they they they not even on Twitter. They not even here. They have it here. Or you see people with 20 followers that have $20,000,000 in their wallet.
[1:26:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exactly.
[1:26:09] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's crazy. Yes. So that's... Yo. You you cannot be here flexing flexing money in crypto. It's it's definitely here. That's... And just... Quick tip.
[1:26:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Quick tip for those that do business in this in this realm. If you're gonna do business here... Like, let's say you're making something. We got some devs on stage, some people associated with projects in the audience and and devs and stuff like that. When you get invited somewhere, understand that if you're paying your own way, you are up against it. Right? You're you're you're probably just being invited as a let's let's check them out kind of a thing. But if you're actually being invited somewhere in this space, we're gonna pay for you. We're gonna pay to get you out there unless we think that there's something suspect about you. Right? They're gonna... You're gonna get your flight paid. You're gonna get your hotel paid. We might pay for a car service for you, or we might just tell you the best place to rent a car or something like that to get around. But we're gonna make the arrangements for you. That is... When when doing business deals, it's very different if you're, like, just gonna do a business deal and we're all flying to the same area to to some event. Right? But if you're gonna go and meet with somebody and they sell you, like, alright. Come meet us, and you have to make your own arrangements for travel, you're probably up against it, and the deal is probably not gonna work out in your favor, or they're gonna try and take your idea. Right? The... One of the two. Or they just don't believe anything that you're pitching. Right? And and in most cases, they don't wanna have any skin in the game and even getting you out there to hear you out. So, like, if you start getting connections in the space, especially at the at the higher level where you're dealing with funds, you're gonna... They're gonna take care of you because they wanna... They... They're interested. They've already done their background on you and wanna know what it is that you're building so that they can invest in it. They just wanna meet you face to face. So, like, that is a tip. And anyone that reaches out that doesn't do those types of things and and actually prove who they are ahead of time, just be very, very careful.
[1:28:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: Great point, Landy. Great point. And and cool to what you said. Even in, like, the Dubai stuff, I know people that spend all their money to fly out to Dubai but can't but can't afford a place to stay. So they just hang around, and it just blows my mind because I'm like, for what? For what? So you could take a picture and say you went to Dubai. You don't even have a... Where are you gonna sleep? Are you gonna sleep on a chair? Like, it is insane what people would do for, like, clout. Right?
[1:28:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: This is this is the world of social media. I like... I just... I I learned about this stuff. My brother is one of one of the one of one of the biggest influencers in Nigeria, man. This dude, the stories he tells me is unbelievable. You guys know what you're stand. You have guys go to flashy restaurants with nice suits, take pictures, and just... They'll restaurants hop and have their suits in their cars to take pictures of social media. They're posting almost every single day, almost every single week looking like there's some kind of celebrity. Because Because if you post those pictures online, people don't know what you what you do for a living. And you're renting cars, you're renting homes, and you're living this false image. And it's not... It's everywhere. It's the it's the culture of social media. Like I said, it's also encrypted too for sure. But, yeah, it's pretty crazy out there, though, man. I I... This is why I'm like, I always encourage people, get married, have some kids, Ben, and to enter your life. Because I think if you have a family and kids, you don't have time to be to be going to restaurants, man, to get pictures.
[1:29:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: So true.
[1:29:43] Kool @koolcryptovc: Go have some babies, man. You know, enjoy your life.
[1:29:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: Man, there's no...
[1:29:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is not gonna turn into you.
[1:29:47] xFactor @xFactorPOL: It's not
[1:29:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: gonna turn into a budget. Say, I'm sorry. This is not gonna turn... No. This is not gonna turn into one of 07:00. Ninety minutes in. But here's what I'll say. Here's what I'll say. Finally, to close. This is why I love Twitter spaces is because we don't... Well, like, none of us are out here flexing, like, on the timeline. Like, look at the lavish life that we live and this and that. We come here. We talk about real shit. Some of us are doxed. Yeah. But, like, I'm not out here being like, look at my new Patek Philippe watch. Like, get out of here, bro. Like, I'm the guy that threw you in the basement of mom and dad accumulating the bickering. I'm the flip side, x factor. You know what I'm saying? Because I'm like, damn. I got a late start to this shit. So... Yeah. Okay. Fine.
[1:30:30] xFactor @xFactorPOL: When They gotta cut me out there, bro. There there was zero question that you were on that side.
[1:30:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: Right? You're Jewish already.
[1:30:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: When you make a bag and... Listen. And this is a tip for you, Dave, because I know that you're gonna make it big. And I know that you're already working your way there, so you're already on your way. But do not go to crypto events and bring your hardware wallet and bring a burner phone that does not have any attachments to it, please, for god's sake.
[1:30:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Does people wear their hard... I see this.
[1:31:00] Landy @CryptoLandy: They wear
[1:31:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: it as their necklace. I'm like, why would you bring your ledger to a crypto event that has all your shit on it? Is that really what they did?
[1:31:08] xFactor @xFactorPOL: Well, actually... Well, you don't even know what's on there. You don't even know what's on there, bro. Imagine if it's like, alright. Let me see it. And you're like
[1:31:15] Bread @_ToastMalone: That's a decoy, bro.
[1:31:17] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Decoys are fine, but don't bring any real shit with you. And, like, it... It's just don't do it. Like, especially if you have it, you need to protect that. That shit should be somewhere else.
[1:31:29] Bread @_ToastMalone: Not not No. No. Hang on. We don't wanna... Like, don't bring decoys either, you bunch degens. Like, nobody wants to get, like, stuck up from a... For a for a Yeah. Decoy.
[1:31:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exactly.
[1:31:38] Bread @_ToastMalone: That's not even worth it.
[1:31:39] Landy @CryptoLandy: People do it. People do it, though, Brad.
[1:31:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Before Dave closes the show, I just wanna hammer on this point to what Cole said, right, with regards to kids because kids are honest as hell. Like, you could try and flex. Like, you could say, man, I just got back from Dubai. It was amazing. And your kid will literally call you out like, no. You didn't. No. You didn't. Cool. Am I lying?
[1:31:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's a fact. Those are honest. That is a fact. Yo. My nieces and nephews were cooking me at the dinner table last night. You understand? At the dinner table. They were like, oh, I see. Like, what's that pimple on your head? I'm like, what? Like, what the hell? Like, why you gotta call... They'll call out anything and everything. So if you are sitting here trying to front, yeah, exactly. Ask the kids. The kids will tell you exactly what the deal is. They're like, you weren't saying that yesterday, like, you when were taking out, like, the Snap card to pay for the groceries. What the hell?
[1:32:30] Landy @CryptoLandy: Little lie detectors walking around with you.
[1:32:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exact. That's exactly it. That's it. Like, my my daughter will call me out all the time. Like, when I say, no, baby. We we can't we can't go to the store today. We got your toys, like, last month. We can't do last month and this month. She's like, well, mommy, I saw the Bitcoin price. I'm like, girl, if you don't stop. Oh, shit.
[1:32:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: I saw the Bitcoin price. Like, I know you're sitting on some money. I've been listening to it. Yo. Imagine your kids in the grease trap. Oh my god. When your kids get older, if your kids are gonna be sitting in the grease trap, that is crazy, crazy work. But here we are. Guys, ATC for the day. Amazing show. Cool Nat, Landy Bread, x factor.
