🎙️All Things Crypto: SBF is a genius just not society’s accepted genius

AIAirdrops / TGEsAltcoinsAsterBTCCLARITY ActCircleCommodities

A Wednesday show hosted by Dave with NatNat and Kool, plus Bread, Ryan, Kkoma (unlabeled Voice C, called 'Koma'), Marni (Voice G) and others. It opens with banter about Kool's new car. Dave's lead story: SBF followed him on X, and a viral post claimed FTX's old venture positions (Anthropic, Solana, Robinhood, SUI, Genesis Digital, SpaceX) would have grown from about $4.7B to $52.5B in three years; Dave notes the FTX estate's fourth creditor payout of about $2.2B is due Mar 31. Bread says the 'I turned $20 into $200 with a Polymarket bot' posts are almost all engagement farming, with only a handful of devs running consistently profitable agents. Kool says he sold nearly all his NFTs (keeping only Wallchain and staked Kite), argues institutions are now picking winners (Chainlink, Hyperliquid) and that 'value, value, value' matters more than in past cycles; he and Kkoma share a Stacks postmortem and the lesson not to be a chain maxi. Dave covers officially licensed S&P 500 perps coming to Hyperliquid via trade.xyz, calling it proof Wall Street is paying attention, and credits Empress for pushing Hyperliquid early. NatNat jokes 'you can't spell disaster without Aster' and says she likes Hyperliquid, Aster and Ostium but spreads risk. On markets, NatNat sees oil possibly revisiting its highs (about $130) but not $200+, notes natural gas spiked, and repeats that BTC 35k-25k levels are already on her charts; Ryan points to Derive for longer-dated crypto options. Kkoma asks whether any web3 success exists beyond trading and gambling; Bread says profitable teams always tie back to DeFi. Dave discusses a Polymarket token before an IPO and LP rewards (about $2M for March Madness), and Bread asks whether rewards will go to wallets or logged-in users. Later segments cover Crypto Mories NFTs and their web3 game, Magic Eden discontinuing its wallet, and Kool and NatNat on cars as depreciating liabilities versus houses. Crude banter, crime jokes and war details are not summarized here. DocNooNoo asks whether Magic Eden is discontinuing its wallets as well as its marketplace.

[0:00:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey, Manny.
[0:00:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hello, Natalie. Oh, shit. Sorry. Oh,
[0:01:05] Voice K: Jack. What up, baby? I miss you. There she is. Lavins, what up?
[0:02:23] Voice K: Milo, suck it, baby. I got a follow from SPF, boy.
[0:02:54] Voice K: Cool. I'm sorry if you got
[0:02:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: hit with the cohost bug.
[0:03:13] Voice K: Kids, what up, baby?
[0:03:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: All things crypto. Oh, snap. What up, peeps? Happy hump day. What's good, everybody? Hope everybody's doing good. Happy Wednesday. Welcome to ATC. Wait. Let me just double check something. Nat, I think I think spaces might be racist. Cool. Can you hear me? Yeah.
[0:03:39] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I hear Can you
[0:03:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: hear me? Oh, yeah. I hear you okay.
[0:03:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: Space is sexist. It's sexist.
[0:03:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Spaces is racist, sexist. You name it. I hit Nat with the cohost. She gets rugged instantaneously, but this good looking black man, all of a sudden now, is free. He can hear me perfectly. I sent him to cohoshes once right off the jump. Crazy. I don't know what's going on. This is insane.
[0:04:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think that
[0:04:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Natalie, how do you feel about this?
[0:04:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, I feel discriminated against, first of all. Right? It's like a... It must be cold muscle. They probably saw his photos. Like, let me not mess with this guy. It's like, allow everything to run smoothly on his end.
[0:04:20] Voice J: They were like, have you seen what this man looks like? There's no way we're going to discriminate against this man.
[0:04:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: They're like, hell no. We are not playing around. And he just bought a new car midlife crisis style? Nah, bro. There's no way we're gonna discriminate against this, brother. Cool. What's good, baby? How are you?
[0:04:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: Hey. Yeah. What's up? Yeah. I'm actually driving right now. I'm driving home. So, yeah, I did I did buy something myself. Wait.
[0:04:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: In the new car? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What car? What car did you buy?
[0:04:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's classified, man. It's a Baymark. I don't I don't wanna make make people upset, man. So I don't I don't I don't wanna get through a mess. So, yeah, nice nice nice car. Nice car, man. All I can say is is black on black on black on black.
[0:05:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, shit. Who got one of them? Nat, what do you think it is? Let's play a game. Nat, what do you think it is? Brad? What y'all think this is? You think it's like a Well? Well, what
[0:05:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: I like the black on black on black on black too. Yes. But I don't know. It sounds like really cozy in there. It sounds like this room. Probably like an SUV.
[0:05:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: You think so? I was gonna say, like, some sort of, like, Mercedes Benz Sport or something. You know what I'm saying? And plus, it's probably nice out. You know what mean? Like a like a c class AMG style or something. You know? That's that's what I would probably guess. If I had to, I'd probably say, like, a Benz or a BMW. Like a like a BMW, like, for, like, three or five series convertible or, a Mercedes Benz, like, c class convertible?
[0:05:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I was thinking convertible, but then I remembered that he has, like, 15 kids.
[0:06:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But this is, midlife crisis car. Don't forget. You know I mean? So he probably has, a... Yeah. Yeah. He probably has, like, a Tesla van or something, you know, or, a Chevy Suburban or something like that. You know I mean? Like, one for each house. Cool. What kind of car is it, bro?
[0:06:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: It it is it is a Benmark, so I I had to... No. It's it's a Honda Accord, man. So is it Benmark?
[0:06:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: I had to out to
[0:06:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: get something very efficient and not too expensive?
[0:06:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, bro.
[0:06:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: Honda Accords are good cars, man. Don't underestimate that.
[0:06:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: There's your participation trophy. Even for a car, she gives you a participation trophy, bro. That's the participation trophy car. There's no way. There's no way. I refuse. You did great, cool. Great job. I told you, bro. Oh my goodness. I can't believe it. She gave him a participation trophy for buying a car. Ladies and gentlemen, first, like, on Twitter spaces, if you've never heard somebody give somebody a participation trophy for a car, you just heard it. Wait. Bread, what do you say it is? Because I I feel like Cool's lying. It's not a Honda Accord. He's playing this right now. He's lying.
[0:07:06] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. Yeah. Mercedes GLB.
[0:07:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. See? He said... Exactly. He said the G Wag put, like, with the the No.
[0:07:15] Bread @_ToastMalone: Not the G Wagon. Not... Like, any... Like, I'm I'm making fun of you if you're driving a g wagon, bro. That is the most overpriced piece of crap car you could pass... Like, awful. But the actual, like, the actual SUVs, though, the... Yeah. Well, I mean, if you love going to the shop,
[0:07:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: like, yeah, Range Yeah. Overpriced as hell, I guess.
[0:07:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nothing says overpriced and midlife crisis like a G Wag.
[0:07:43] Bread @_ToastMalone: Like a Jag, bro. A Jag screams midlife crisis.
[0:07:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: True. What's the Jaguar SUV again?
[0:07:51] Bread @_ToastMalone: The XJ something or other, I think.
[0:07:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The XJ. Yeah. Alright. We'll we'll... I'll put a poll up in the middle of the show, and then we'll, you know, we'll we'll we'll go from there. But... Cool. Congrats on the new car, bro. Love that. Hopefully... I mean, your kids, bro. They're not gonna like... Like, your boy's not gonna like going to the football games, you know, in a Honda Accord. If he's got girls that he needs to impress, that kid Bro.
[0:08:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: I said it's the bear market, bro. He got... He... They get... They got take they got take what comes to them, man. It's all good.
[0:08:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No.
[0:08:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's nice car. It's nice. It's nice. I'm not gonna lie. It's very nice.
[0:08:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: It is. Honda Accords are really nice. Don't listen to this guy. Mister... I take the trains everywhere. Right? Or I... Uber everywhere.
[0:08:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Listen. Hey. Listen, man. There's nothing wrong with the f train. Okay? You know what the f train stands for. You... You're from New York, you know what the
[0:08:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: f train stands for. That's
[0:08:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: it. I also know what bus e 11 stands for too.
[0:08:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, shit. How do know the b 11 and the b six on every... I used to take that bus to go to school. Two of them, actually. Actually, three of them. The b three to the b six or the... Yeah. That's crazy. Anyways, good shit. Marni, great space earlier. Open Claw everywhere, just like we talked about yesterday, but really great space. You had some you had some great people in there earlier too, by the way. Like, talk to me. What's up?
[0:09:11] Voice G: Yeah. Yeah. It was it was interesting. Most definitely. Got a little technical at the end there, but... Before that, I like talking to the business people who are actually using it and getting their perspectives. And it was fun, you know, that guy in Columbia who had already set up NemoClaw for his real estate business. That was great.
[0:09:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. I love it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Amazing. And I love how you couldn't even pronounce his name. By the way, also, maybe Marnie is the racist one now now that I think about it. He had a super Spanish name. Marnie, what was his name?
[0:09:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: I don't remember.
[0:09:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: See? That's what I'm saying. You see that? Marni's hella racist too. Like, space is racist. Marni's racist. Goddamn. This is crazy work out here. Nat, don't worry about it. I'm sending you the calls right now, and this should work, just FYI. And if it doesn't, I'll just send it to to Kate, but it's fine. Anyways, guys, welcome to the show. You could tell I'm feeling myself today. I don't know why. Just like, today's a good day. I'm not I'm not really sure why. See, Nat, it worked. I told you. But, yeah, lots to talk about today. The big lead off story as you guys see in the title. I'm still awaiting for SPF to make his long standing appearance. I don't know if anybody paid attention. Most likely not because you probably don't give a shit. But SBF followed your boy today. SBF followed your boy. Wait. Wait. I... Is out?
[0:10:45] Kool @koolcryptovc: Out of jail?
[0:10:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. He's not out of jail, but he shot me a follow from prison today, bro. Legit. I am now officially followed by SPF. So, Milo, suck it. Okay? You're not the only one followed by SPF. Alright, buddy? That's how we're... He's throwing me the... I love Milo because, like, he won't openly, like, thumbs down me. Like, he's throwing it to me on the side, you know, on the low low. So, Milo, shout out to you, but sorry, pal. You're not the only cool game in town, buddy. Alright? Alright. The rest of us now the rest of us now, alright, are out here crime in a little. But let's get to the reason why why SBF actually followed me.
[0:11:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: Because you posted about crime.
[0:11:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I just had a little bit of crime, Nat. I didn't say, like, oh, like, I'm endorsing the crime. You know? Plus he's... Now he's a fellow New Yorker. You know, he's right here in central booking. You know? He's, like, fifteen minutes away, twenty minutes away for those
[0:11:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: that didn't know. Backyard.
[0:11:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. For those that didn't know, don't be jealous. SPF literally is in the cell that's twenty minutes away from my house. Okay? New York is a big place. It is what it is. But... Yeah. But... Yeah. So I put this out today, and let's maybe kinda... Let's maybe touch on the story. Okay? And and this is what I found insanely fascinating. Okay? Somebody put out a post today, and I looked at it, and I was like, what the hell? Listen to this. He posts maturing, and I quote, maturing is realizing that FTX was one of the best investors in crypto history. Why do you say that even though SPF is in jail? Listen to his investments and... From literally three years ago, less than three years ago, and this is where they are now. A $500,000,000 investment in Anthropic by SBF would now be worth 30,400,000,000. A $1,000,000,000 in Solana investment, which he did, would now be worth 5,100,000,000. A $648,000,000 investment in Robinhood. Now when I say would be, like, this... These are the active positions that, like, FTX had on the books. 648,000,000 in Robinhood, today 5,700,000,000. That's a greater return, by the way, than Solana. A 100,000,000 in SUI would be 1,200,000,000. A 1,150,000,000 in Genesis digital assets will be 3,500,000,000, and a $700,000,000 investment in SpaceX via a VC would be $3,000,000,000. That is literally a... Like, I'm not kidding. From 4,700,000,000 to $52,500,000,000 in three years. Now you might be asking yourself, what the hell? Why is this dude in jail? It's a small little minute detail. Small little minute. So he wasn't using money that was technically his. You know what I'm saying that? What's the... This is why I said, what's wrong with a little bit of crime? And somebody was like, listen. This is nuts. Like, I can't believe it. Like, what the hell? You know? So as the... FDA should be in jail. But guess what? Like, the credit... The bankruptcy lawyers, okay, right, did the whole thing, right, after the whole bankruptcy. And today and today... Or excuse me. March 31, they're gonna distribute their fourth payout of 2,200,000,000. Right? I mean, listen. That's a 10... 2,200,000,000? Like, literally, like, that's a 20 x from the payout of today. Right? But if you look at it on the grand scheme of things, and this is minus really where, like, the overall... Mind you, these investments can still go up. But, like, you're looking at it from day one where, like, the creditors, as you guys know, will pay you essentially, oh, you had this much Bitcoin. We're gonna pay you in cash and keep the rest of the Bitcoin. That's a 10 x return.
[0:14:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's like saying... That's like meeting someone and then having that person tell you, overall, I am super loyal. I just managed to cheat on the short term time frame. Like, every now and then I cheat, but overall, I am loyal.
[0:14:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, what's... Exactly. Like, what's a little crime? What's a little sex on the side? You know what I mean? Like, with a spicy Latina. Like, come on. How are you not going to do that? Like, that's like a rite of passage. Now you can't tell me... Like, if you went to investors and sat down with a deck that it was like, oh, I turned 400,000,000 or 500,000,000 into 40 or 52,000,000,000 that you're not gonna get an instant check on the... On your next raise. Tell me no.
[0:15:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: I mean, it might all come down to am I free or or am I writing this or saying this behind bars. Right?
[0:15:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I mean, technically, like, you know, time in hindsight... You know what I mean? Like, we're playing Monday morning quarterback, but, like, Natalie, what do you say? What's a little crime? Like like... Maybe, like, it's it's important to, like... Maybe you have to do a little crime. Like, who doesn't do a little crime?
[0:15:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: I don't do a little crime. Okay? For for the IRS listening, I don't do crime. For the FBI listening, I don't do crime. All the other three letter agencies, I don't do crime.
[0:15:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But you know what? You also didn't make $52,000,000,000, Nat. The point is, like, you didn't make 52,000,000,000. I did not
[0:16:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: make $52,000,000,000. I did not.
[0:16:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Think about, like, the cars that you could have bought if you were cool. You would have walked onto the lot. Right? The same way SBF bought all these houses in The Bahamas and all the other shit. He literally The
[0:16:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: houses that you can't live in, those?
[0:16:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean... I'll have
[0:16:20] Bread @_ToastMalone: a billion by the end of March madness.
[0:16:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's true. That's actually true. And you'd still be 52,000,000,000 short if you literally bred... If you literally defied all of the mathematical odds, you would still still have a 52 x greater return. Still. Then the the... Like, what?
[0:16:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Imagine... Can you imagine now that SPF follows you, can you imagine seeing this space and him coming on and just saying, you guys, great story. I can't figure out how much you have a great story. Thank you so much for bringing it out.
[0:16:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's what we've spent in
[0:16:54] Bread @_ToastMalone: I'd ask him for a loan straight up.
[0:16:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Matt, I'm not kidding. And then, Cole, I wanna get your take on this, but I'm... I shit you not. You know what went through my head? For those that watch, like, all these crazy specials. Right? This is like drug lord money when you really think about it. Right? It's just like, who makes more money than the drug lords? It's literally like the white collar criminals. So I was thinking to myself, if anybody's ever watched Cocaine Cowboys, do you... Two. Do you guys remember... What's her name? Esmeralda Blanca. What'd they call her? Something Blanca. Oh my god. What was the Spanish word? Hella. I'm racist. Goddamn it. But, like, she was, like, the second... Like, the female second coming of Pablo Escobar. And there was a dude somewhere in Bumble f like Texas that was like, oh, she's in jail? Like, I could probably learn a thing or two from Esmeralda. So, like, let me write her. He became pen pals with her in prison. I'm thinking, I could do this shit. Let me write to SBF. What's he doing? He's got nothing but time, and I got nothing but crime at the end of the day to be able to kinda, like, you know, really play this thing out. Why not write to SBS? So, guys, if you see me at Central booking, okay, taking a selfie with some of the guards or, like, you know, a certain Afro Jewish man
[0:18:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: behind bars. Did did you mean Griselda Blanco? Is that is is
[0:18:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: that who?
[0:18:15] Kool @koolcryptovc: Griselda Blanco. Yeah.
[0:18:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. What do they call her? What what was her name? Like, they... Like, a nickname? Not la la...
[0:18:21] Kool @koolcryptovc: La Madrina?
[0:18:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes.
[0:18:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. That's what it was. Yeah. You get what I'm saying there? I'm trying to be El Padrino, the... Of crypto. You know what I'm saying? Why not? Why not? You guys suck. Nobody's awake out here. Why would we wanna...
[0:18:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: I just feel like this is so, like, down the rabbit hole of crime. Just straight crime. And we're we're trying to justify, like, maybe a little bit of crime goes along way. I mean, I don't think so.
[0:18:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Listen. It's all about perspective. Cool. Are you telling me that, like, Nat, are you telling me that CZ didn't do just a little bit of crime or that, like, a little bit of crime didn't happen or is happening on Binance every day?
[0:19:03] NatNat @Natnatx007: Fair. Exactly. I just need a little bit of crime to happen and ask her so that way I can get out of my position.
[0:19:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: You see what I'm saying? This is what I mean. Pete, we're not opposed to a little bit of crime when it benefits our pockets. But, you know, the FTX investors got their panties in a bunch. Alright. So we borrowed your money for a little bit. Big deal. You know what I mean? Stick it out. It's a bear market. What the hell? Cool. What'd you... Cool. What did you make of this story?
[0:19:28] Kool @koolcryptovc: Nah. Nah. Yep. That's crazy, man. I... We we we all knew he was a, you know, good investment, but I would say
[0:19:39] Kool @koolcryptovc: Uh-oh.
[0:19:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: Call host. Are
[0:19:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: hearing me? Are back? Yeah. We got you. You hear me? Shit.
[0:19:47] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay. Is he hearing me now? Yeah.
[0:19:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: We got you. Are you good?
[0:19:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Sorry. I was gonna try try to get
[0:19:52] Voice J: in this car real quick, man. It's got...
[0:19:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: He's got 10 or so.
[0:19:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's what happens when you got such a big car. You be like, you don't even know. You lose your phone and how big the car is. Like, listen to that. Cool dropped the phone, and he's like, where's his phone right now? He doesn't even know where it is.
[0:20:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. I'm I'm I'm Alright, guys. Hold on one second. I'm just gonna my daughter, so just give me a second, man.
[0:20:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, one second. You're good. You see what I mean? Now he's gotta, like, use the intercom to, like, speak to his daughter who's in the way back seat, and his son is essentially in the front seat. So now he's gotta use the intercom and be like, hey. Or he's looking at his daughter being like, Aliyah, you know, get on the intercom. I feel like I'm cooking today, but nobody... Like, Nat, it's just me and you, I feel like. You know what I mean?
[0:20:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm picking up everything you put in
[0:20:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: that much. Know you got this one. Yeah. Like, I feel like this is freaking gold. Like, I wanna curse so bad.
[0:20:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: Hopefully, the kids have a beeper. Right? Because I think in case of an emergency,
[0:20:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: you need to be able to beat them. Imagine all of a sudden you see Aaliyah, like, literally, like, go into, like, her jeans and, like, she, like, flips open her beeper on, like, a gold chain. And it's like, what are you doing? She's like, I'm just gonna beat my I'm gonna beat my brother. Just let him know, like, that you're gonna be calling, that you should stop at a payphone.
[0:21:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: That just... That reminds me of of the sidekick. Do you guys remember the sidekick back in the day?
[0:21:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Remember the in Mobile?
[0:21:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, 25. Solid 25.
[0:21:13] Voice G: She's a very knowledgeable 25. There
[0:21:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: you go.
[0:21:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: A very sick historian. Definitely.
[0:21:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: A mobile a mobile phone historian. You gotta
[0:21:23] Kkoma @itskkoma: love that. She she also knows the Razer.
[0:21:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Or the StarTAC even before the Razer. You guys remember that? That was, like, the the cheapy version of
[0:21:32] Voice G: the Who remembers the trio? Woah.
[0:21:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's hella... I don't even know. Yeah. You got me with that one. Oh my gosh. That's something in a Canadian. Five.
[0:21:40] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Yeah. That must be, like,
[0:21:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: a Canadian, like, knockoff, like, phone.
[0:21:44] Voice G: Man, they told me that shit on that. Newton.
[0:21:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: The what?
[0:21:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Newton. How old are you, Marni? My gosh. You're going, like, pre Steve Jobs days? What is happening? Apple Newton. Like, the fig Newton? Homa, you remember the fig Newton from Apple? What is she saying?
[0:22:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: I have no idea. Maybe it's the Apple one or something. I don't know.
[0:22:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I don't know.
[0:22:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Did I ever tell you guys that one time we tried to buy... Do you guys remember the g one? It's like Google's first phone. And it was, like, so hot back in the day in Washington Heights. Everyone that had this phone was, like, the it person. Okay. Everyone that had this for for this phone was, like, it. So we... I got one, and then my husband didn't get one. So we're like, alright. Don't worry, babe. I got you. I'm gonna put you on. I'm gonna get you the phone. I was I was searching through Amazon. Oh, no. It wasn't... Oh, no. It was eBay. I was searching through eBay, and I found it, like, right off the bat. I looked so excited, and I didn't even read the description. Right? I just pressed buy, and I received the phone. And then as soon as I, like, open the box, tell me how that thing won't open. And then I go back and read the description, and it says, like a g one similar to a g one, The g does not open, and you cannot
[0:23:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: flip it. That's what the Chinese knock off the Google phone. Damn. That is crazy. Oh my goodness. And then the box didn't even open. I don't know how we got here, but that that was funny. That's cool.
[0:23:18] Kkoma @itskkoma: I got
[0:23:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I did. Got that. Now believe you me, I read every sentence, every letter on descriptions on anything that I order.
[0:23:28] Kkoma @itskkoma: I mean, honestly, ever since I met my wife, I, like, make sure I read everything before I, like, book a flight, book a hotel. Like, I just got, like, major shat on one... Once when I, like, booked some, like, really shady looking hotel in Chinatown in... Oh, actually, not in Chinatown. Some, like, Chinese hotel in, like, Long Island City. And I I kid you not. It was, like, one of the most piece of shit hotels ever. And then I just saw value in the price, and was like a it was like a really crooked chair leaned against the wall, like, against this this, like, small ass table, and, like, the bed looked like like... It was a little too yellow for a white blanket, you know, kinda thing. And then she she she was, like, super pissed. And then literally, I booked, like, the hotel, like, maybe, like, a Marriott the same day and had to spend, like, almost, like,
[0:24:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: $506,100 dollars just to just to get on a good side.
[0:24:21] Kkoma @itskkoma: You thought... Yeah.
[0:24:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. Koma thought he was booking, like, a, like, a values, like, boutique hotel. He's like, oh, no, babe. Like, this is, like, the it... New hotel. Like, this is it, honey. And she's like, uh-huh. They walk in there all the
[0:24:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: They didn't even didn't even bother with refunds. It was just like, yep. Let's just let's just get out of here.
[0:24:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. That's how you know you like info fi rich rich. When you don't even call to try and get a refund, that's when you know you got money money.
[0:24:43] Kkoma @itskkoma: I mean, I'm not racist, but they are Chinese. They're not gonna give my refund back. So let's be honest.
[0:24:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: You said it. That was the setup. Don't tell me I'm not elite because I was thinking about saying that, but I know I didn't wanna go down the rabbit hole with you, comma. But... Yeah.
[0:24:55] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm not a criminal, but, you know, like, Sam Big Miffre follows me. So... You know? Wait. You done Who am I? Who am I?
[0:25:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I'm I'm apparently a nobody. I'm not the only one he does knock. Well, I know.
[0:25:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. No. I'm literally doing that who am I game. Like,
[0:25:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I
[0:25:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: am Dave. Listen. Don't hate, bro. You got... Like, I smelled the jealousy through the phone. Okay? It's not my fault. So now you're rich is
[0:25:18] Kkoma @itskkoma: what you're saying.
[0:25:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, I wish. I really do wish. But imagine you guys see me, like, take a selfie with SPF.
[0:25:25] Kkoma @itskkoma: You you... What is it like? What do they say? Like, you are the you are the average of the five people... Like, your five people around you. Now that you're in the SPF circle. You know?
[0:25:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: So You know what? I never heard that saying before, but I like it. I like it.
[0:25:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: Now we know you're tied to a primal.
[0:25:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm literally gonna make it a
[0:25:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: with Landy, so, I mean, it's fine.
[0:25:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, exactly. At the end of the day, you're telling me that, like, if I became pen pals with SPF, that that wouldn't be, like, amazing content? Landy would be jealous. I'm convinced. You know? That's... Guys, that's insight that you would never normally get. You know? I feel like I'm extending this bit now, but it's fine. Alright. Let me just put a... And shout out to AMG who's awake. You know what I'm saying? AMG, shout
[0:26:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: out to He is. He is. And I I appreciate the the the emojis and the laughter. Just met your day. It's okay.
[0:26:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. Yes. It is. Thank you, AMG. I appreciate you. And to everyone else, Nat, you know what I wanna say, but note... Like, just note, like, f you guys. Okay? Everybody that's asleep. Right? This is why this is why sometimes I'm late because you know what I say to myself? I'm gonna go to sleep, and I'm like, ah, if I oversleep a little bit, maybe Nat maybe Nat calls, maybe she doesn't. But these guys don't pay me enough. They don't pay me. You guys just show up, and all of a sudden, it's like, dance, monkey. Dance. Tell us about crypto. And it's like, okay. Fine. I will. But sometimes I won't
[0:26:48] Kkoma @itskkoma: Did get any airdrop airdrop today or no?
[0:26:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. What airdrop? Is this an airdrop?
[0:26:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: Never mind. Please continue your your your Oh my god.
[0:26:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is insane. I really can't
[0:26:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: keep up. That's another one of the airdrops?
[0:27:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I think he might be. Also, like, did you see Coma's tweet on the timeline today? He was like, I'm tired of, like, prediction markets. Top signal, ladies and gents. Remember what happened? Coma said that he... Well, like, the last time he said, oh, I'm tired of this. Infofy literally fell off a cliff and died. Like, he murdered... Single handedly murdered Infofy. Cool. He did this. Now he's gonna do it to prediction markets. Wait. Because of
[0:27:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: Infofy, I got two airdrops today. What are you talking about? Like... And they're pretty decent. So it's it's still it's still running. It's still running. It's a little delayed, but it's
[0:27:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: it's Cool. Talk to your boy, bro.
[0:27:35] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I would say, though, I keep seeing those tweets online, man, about people run bots on PolyMarkets turning one one thousand to, like, 800 or million. So maybe
[0:27:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, Brett has a lot of opinions about this.
[0:27:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Maybe maybe maybe you're doing
[0:27:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: it wrong, man. I... Yo. I I gotta figure out how these guys do it, though, man. Like, running a bot, you're making that much money within a couple of weeks. That's crazy.
[0:27:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: Cool. Have you heard of clickbait before?
[0:28:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. I have. I have. I have. So so you
[0:28:02] Kool @koolcryptovc: sent all those tweets of fake. All of them are fake. Are you saying?
[0:28:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. I mean Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much. Like, I feel like y'all
[0:28:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: are haters, bro. I feel like, I feel like y'all are haters.
[0:28:12] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. No. No. Hang on. Hang on. Because, like, those those posts, Right? The I turned $20 to $200 in a week using this blah blah blah. Like, that's... That is all fake. Every single one of those is fake. And if you click it, it either leads to a sign up for my newsletter and my course on building a thing to sell courses to people on the Internet. Right? Or, ultimately, it's like, oh, yeah. That worked for that that worked for, like, two days, and then the whole thing nuked the port, and now it doesn't work anymore. Right? Like, those agents, like, they all... No. There's, like, honestly, probably four other devs I know of in the space that are actually building profitable agents that are consistently profitable. Everyone else is engagement farming.
[0:28:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, are you saying that Marnie is LARPing out here because she's selling a course? What if she did turn a $100 into 1.6
[0:29:04] Bread @_ToastMalone: If she was selling her course
[0:29:05] Voice G: selling that kind of a course. God damn it.
[0:29:08] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. There we go.
[0:29:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thanks, Marty. I mean, potato patato, guys. If you're making
[0:29:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: a million dollars, why would you ever sell a course?
[0:29:14] Bread @_ToastMalone: You're not. You're taking that edge yourself.
[0:29:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: Help people. You wanna help people. Like, you know, what's that? What are those, like, scammers? Dan Lok.
[0:29:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro. Comma. What better resume than saying you've literally made 1,200,000 in six weeks than that?
[0:29:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: In my in my experience, right, people that are, like, selling these BS courses don't really make money off what they're saying they're making money off. They're making money off you, of the courses that they sell.
[0:29:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn, Marty. You gonna take that shit?
[0:29:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. This is not for money at all. I'm talking about, like, trading and turning 20 into, like, a bajillion dollars.
[0:29:52] Kkoma @itskkoma: High high valued individuals or what are what are what are, like, closers or whatever? Like, some kind of stupid name convention, like, like, high profitable trader group, whatever. And then once you join that class or... Then they... Then you get elevated to even a higher group of
[0:30:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Call now. Because what what
[0:30:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: Marni is doing is different. Right? She is selling... She's trying to help businesses use AI. Right? That's you?
[0:30:19] Voice G: I'm helping businesses use OpenClaw and Obsidian. Yes. That
[0:30:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: is my participation. You're welcome to me.
[0:30:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: See? That's beautiful that she's not sending a course turning 20 into, like, a bajillion dollars overnight.
[0:30:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Marni, you said if I call now or in the next fifteen minutes that I can get, like, the, like, the second, like like, course for free. Is that still a good deal valid?
[0:30:42] Voice G: I do not recall saying that.
[0:30:46] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. But, Dave, if you sell enough of the courses, you get a pink Cadillac.
[0:30:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Ah, you see?
[0:30:51] Voice G: Yes. You... If if you you could be an affiliate for me, and if you sell enough of them, you could afford to buy your own pink Cadillac.
[0:31:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: See? You see? It's always in the fine print.
[0:31:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: This reminds me of Avond. You never know. You guys remember Avond?
[0:31:08] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. You gotta read the rules.
[0:31:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Am... Yeah. That's like Amway. My downline is super stacked. I have, like, 50 people in my downline that I'm getting paid for. I don't even work anymore. I'm a diamond tier, you know, affiliate.
[0:31:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Girl, cut co knives. Cut co knives.
[0:31:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: If that doesn't tell you she's not freaking 25, I don't know what
[0:31:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: else to
[0:31:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: tell you.
[0:31:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: Heard about it. I heard... I know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody that knows about it.
[0:31:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Uh-huh. Yeah. My great uncle used to sell Cutco Knives, aka me and my best friend. Exactly.
[0:31:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: One of my one of my friends from... Actually, don't... He won't even call him a friend, but back in middle school, he was, like, trying to convince me to buy this, like, special water. And I was like, bro, I literally... It's just... I could just drink from the sink. Why do I need to, like, join your, like, downline to sell water? I was like, this is the stupidest idea. He's like, don't you wanna make money? Don't you wanna be rich? And I was like, not like this.
[0:32:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Homa, you didn't know about... Bro, I got him. That's real. Ionized water from Japan. That's a real thing. Like, those filters sell for $5
[0:32:14] Bread @_ToastMalone: a month.... Kangen water.
[0:32:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. If bread knows it, that means it's legit. You know?
[0:32:22] Kkoma @itskkoma: Well, hang on. Hang on.... My downline, Dave?
[0:32:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's that? Oh, you have a downline? Let me... Send me a link. I I mean, I kinda dropped out of that one. It wasn't my... Like, anyways... But... Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't my fault. But if you have a link, send it over. Like, we can we can share.
[0:32:38] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'll I'll use my AirDrop money to, you know, start this business.
[0:32:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exact... Brett, what was it called? Kaijin water or something?
[0:32:45] Bread @_ToastMalone: Kangen water.
[0:32:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Kangen Kangen water. Yeah. This was real. This is real. Yeah. It's
[0:32:51] Bread @_ToastMalone: It's it's water. It will, you know, keep you alive,
[0:32:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: I guess. Never seen the videos where, like, oh, did you buy, like, vegetables from the supermarket? Look at all of this dirt that's coming off this by using this water. Like, you're gonna eat these filthy vegetables now? Like, woah. Like, you're disgusting if you don't use
[0:33:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: You filthy animal. You need to get this water. You dirty, dirty animal.
[0:33:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: You use water from the sink? Talk about racist. My god.
[0:33:20] Bread @_ToastMalone: Well, no. No. Definitely not. What
[0:33:22] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm saying. That what you're to say, Dave? What is what is wrong with you?
[0:33:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. I'm just saying I don't... I'm not from Michigan, but shout out to the people from Michigan.
[0:33:29] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yellow water? What's wrong with you, Dave? Stop stop saying stop putting words in my mouth.
[0:33:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Listen, Koma, at the end of the day, bro, you know, we've all seen, like, this is magic water. You like the clear water. Yeah. Exactly. Bro, you've never seen, like, the salad being washed, and it's like all this crap comes off it, and it's like when they dab it with the paper towel, and you're just like, what? I'm eating all of that? Yeah. Yeah, people.
[0:33:57] Kkoma @itskkoma: This is why we're all in crypto because we all fall for this stuff, apparently.
[0:34:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly.
[0:34:01] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. It's why all you crypto MFers are constantly getting sick. Eat the dirt. It's good for you.
[0:34:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: Or anything with, like, an NFT. And then, like, pretty much, it it follows the same, like, formula.
[0:34:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, we're gonna send you a membership NFT for the Kaiju water. Okay?
[0:34:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: The more NFTs you have, the more access you get to the water.
[0:34:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: This... We're gonna create the same design. Alright? But we're gonna sell you this. It's lifetime membership. Well, we'll sell you the first six months, but then I'll tell you a reason why you need to buy the, like, two year one tomorrow.
[0:34:30] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. We'll just fractionalize the water coolers that, you know, are then serviced by also our other company that's, you know, owned as a DBA under the water company.
[0:34:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Cool. You're gonna buy our NFT?
[0:34:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, no. No. No. No.
[0:34:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: I just... Yeah. I just...
[0:34:43] Kool @koolcryptovc: You guys... You said NFT. I just remembered seeing the metaverse of... Meta, like, I think they lost, like, $80,000,000,000 or something. So is... Are you saying the meta is dead? Metaverse is dead.
[0:34:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: The metaverse meta? Can you remember
[0:35:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: the the the token engine and and mana and all these projects? Jeez.
[0:35:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo. How cool went to mana, like, to mana from Kaijin Water? Crazy, but relevant.
[0:35:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: But You you you set NFT and just thought about, yeah, I'm done. Like, no more NFTs for me and all that stuff. I'm doing all the hell.
[0:35:18] Kkoma @itskkoma: Cool. What happened to that one project? You had that, like, alien PFP for a while or whatever.
[0:35:22] Kool @koolcryptovc: Bro. Bro. I I don't... Man, I I sold everything. I sold all my all my all my... I think only NFTs to own are the, wall chain NFTs. That's it. I sold Kite to NFTs. I I own stake on my Kite. So sold every... I sold everything. I sold everything. Everything. Even because I'm like, you know what? I'm done, man. It's just it's just it's just... You you you kinda get tired of of of seeing projects go to zero, man. I'm like, you know what? Bitcoin, Tau, AI, Solana, e, then I'm done. That's it. But, yeah, bro, I'm out. Gone?
[0:35:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. The sloth and the network Noya gone? All gone.
[0:35:59] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So, I mean, if if I still get a job, so probably I'll probably still get some stuff, but it it was... It's... It was too much. I'm I'm I'm officially almost a big crime vaccine now. I just... It's it's just too much, man.
[0:36:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Landy's gonna be so happy when he listens back to this replay. He's gonna be so happy. Bro, if I see you starting to rock an ordinal like alpha gamer, who's like, oh, $25,000 floor on this ordinal, bro. I swear to god. Cool. Don't... Like, you're the ETH maxi for us, bro. Don't Oh, no. No. No. Sure. No. So I I
[0:36:31] Kool @koolcryptovc: I think it's just it's just trying to keep it small, and and that's what I'm doing right now because I'm I'm the game has changed, man. We... Yeah. I keep... I'm studying the market, studying web two, web three, and you see, basically, institutional investors are picking winners right now. You saw what happened to Hyperliquid today. Right? You saw the the big, you know, news of hype. So they're picking winners, man. So you guys have to identify these things. And I think a lot... All coins season might be might be different story. I don't know. But I just believe that, you know, the game has changed, man. And you have to kind of be buying tokens that that actually have true value. Chainlink, Hyperliquid, whatever. But it's basically what the big money... What they agree that that they... They're buying. That's what you should be buying. So
[0:37:19] Kkoma @itskkoma: You know what I thought was always a good token, but didn't really kinda, like, take off was a BAT, basic attention token. I thought it had a good, like, premise, like, where
[0:37:29] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hell yeah. I was mining that shit back for Brave Browser back in the day. I had a ton of that.
[0:37:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: Doesn't make sense. I don't understand why it died. But just because you have a good product
[0:37:39] Bread @_ToastMalone: It was too early.
[0:37:40] Kkoma @itskkoma: Because you have a good product doesn't mean tokens will do well. Bad tokenomics. Bad.
[0:37:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: So so it's one of those
[0:37:47] Bread @_ToastMalone: things that you don't have to be first. You just have to be first.
[0:37:49] Kool @koolcryptovc: The the the idea of a batch is good, but I I just think the... It's it's it's a very competitive market, and I I I didn't realize it. There are 13,000,000. I'm a say it again. 13,000,000. So you tell me how... It's it's... The game has changed. Like I said, you you you you can't use the the the, you know, the ways we used to make money back then four, five years ago in crypto is very different. You have to... It's value, value, value. And... Yeah. And even then, it doesn't even guarantee you might make money from it. So it's... The game is different now. Very, very different.
[0:38:28] Kkoma @itskkoma: So, I mean, Dave, this is Brandon. But, you know, Katana was saying that they're gonna put... You know, their airdrop was based on a 1,000,000,000 FTB. Of course, no one thought that was gonna be it, but, it's at, like, a 150,000,000,000. So, yeah, that airdrop is no bueno. So cool. You got out of the game. Had a great time. Good job, my friend.
[0:38:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love Yeah. Yeah. No. It's it's... I I think I just
[0:38:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: I saw Landy and Nat Nat. They don't stress too much. They don't stress too much because they don't do all like I did or like like we do. You know mean? It's just... I I I got tired of getting hacked. Like, you know, it's just... Okay. I'll give you an example. Right? This one protocol that I I think... A couple of them. I... My token now is worth, like, $32,000, man. I can't sell it now because there's there's no liquidity. There's no liquidity. And I'm like, I've holding this for four years, man. And I'm like, 32 k. I'm looking at, like, okay. No liquidity to sell. And that's one of many. And, like, you know what? There's a reason why Nat Nat and and and, you know, Landy, they don't stress. You you... I could tell, and I think I I I don't need stress in my life. And I'm getting older. I mean, kids, you know, all these different things. So I need I need peace of mind. I need peace of mind.
[0:39:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: Simplicity is always best.
[0:39:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Look at you with the one liners. You fancy ass. I guess you said come by. She's... The sheep Nat just dropped the commercial. She was like, simplicity is best brought to you by Hyperliquid. God. What the hell?
[0:40:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: Not even a commercial. Have you seen these recent commercials about these these, like, painkillers? Like, we'll reduce pain. Side effect includes gonorrhea, loss leg, loss of life. And
[0:40:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: if no leakage. Yeah. Ain't no leakage. And it's just like, thank you for playing on hyperliquid.
[0:40:19] Kool @koolcryptovc: Ahead. I mean, Dave, you too, man. Yeah. I think you've you've changed the way you've kinda approached the game a little bit. Because remember the whole stack stuff you wish to do and look at how how that turned out. So it's just... I I I just believe putting too much of your energy into projects that that not necessarily proven yet, you... You're going to get bitten in the butt. And I think that... That's what happened to me and you because Stacks Stacks, we had a lot of hope for Stacks. Mean, I'm like, yo. What what... What's going on? Like, Stacks should do very, very well, but they haven't. Why? I don't know. So imagine if you put all all all your energy into Stack's ecosystem, where are you right now after three, four years? You know
[0:40:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean? Yeah. 100%, bro. 100%. Yeah. My... Good. Me and co... Me, you, and come share the Stacks postmortem. You know? Oh, man. You know what I'm saying?
[0:41:07] Kkoma @itskkoma: I make so much more money through Infify than Stacks. Like, if I just stayed in Stacks and just was like, wah wah wah. Like, we... Why can't we get, like, funding for developers, like, more than a thousand dollars? Like like, literally, that was, one airdrop, you know, for, like, just yapping for a few few weeks. Right? So... No. That... I... That was one thing I learned is, like, don't be a, like, a chain maxi. You know? Just focus on making money.
[0:41:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exact... Like, if we would've stuck around and been like, no. No. This is the Bitcoin l two to rule all the l twos because of Bitcoin finality, bro. Nobody gives a shit, guys. If nobody's using your chain, you're gonna sit here and essentially be holding dead tokens like like cool is. $32 and you can't sell? Cool. I have bad news for you, bro. That token is not really a token. If there's no liquidity pool, it's not a token. It's literally just something. I don't know what you wanna classify that as, but if there's no money backing it, well, I guess that's the US dollar also. But, anyways, here we are. But, yeah, let's kinda... Let's... Let let kinda make the hard pivot back to the hyperliquid story. If y'all didn't... You you know, if you guys didn't see the news of what we're talking about today, the... Like, the Dow Jones, okay, aka the officially licensed s and p 500 perp contracts are gonna be launching on hyperliquid through trade x y z. If that does not tell you that, like, Wall Street is genuinely paying attention, forget paying attention, They see their lunch being eaten six months, a year, two years down the road, and they're like, holy shit. We cannot ignore this anymore. If I would have given you this news a year ago, six months ago, you would have been like, get the hell out of here. What are you talking about? There's no way. But you can't... Like, you cannot deny that Hyperliquid is making $1,300,000,000 a year on, like, allowing people, right, like, to trade perp contracts for commodities, tokenized equities. Right? Like, right now, that's what they're doing. Futures contract... There's a reason why the Chicago Mercantile Exchange makes a bazillion freaking dollars. Right? Now imagine if you could trade that $24.07, that's what Hyperliquid is. If you didn't know what Hyperliquid was before, like, hear me now. This is what it is. Right? Tokenized actual... Tokenized financial instruments on chain is what Hyperliquid is changing, and they figured out a way to monetize it, like, way faster than everybody else to where Wall Street has no choice but to pay attention. Period. End of story. They hit 1,430,000,000 in market open interest. That's nuts. That is crazy. And that's before they even have S and P 500 perp contracts. Think about that. Right? Yeah. Why?
[0:44:05] Kool @koolcryptovc: I was gonna say,
[0:44:06] Kkoma @itskkoma: can you imagine when when when CZ and his, like, criminals were trying to, like, shut... Like, screw Hyperliquid with the jelly jelly jelly or whatever? Like... I mean, sure. We could talk about decentralization or whatever, but thank god, like, they weren't able to just, like, be like, nope. You can't do that. Like, now we know why CZ was felt so, like, threatened by Hyperliquid. Right? Because, like, look at look at them now. Like, their price is at, what, like, $42, like, all time high. I think 04/08/2025, it was, like, $11, $12.
[0:44:38] Voice G: So All time high was $60.
[0:44:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: That's insane. Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it hits triple. Like, not not financial advice, but, like, just based on the momentum and stuff. Like, this is this is sending. And I know all these other perks are trying their best to, like, copy Hyperliquid, but there really
[0:44:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: is. No.
[0:44:57] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. So, like, second best right now with the way it's it's looking.
[0:45:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn, Nat. You're take that Aster Fudd right here on the space in front of your face by one of your coworkers? This is great coma. How are you gonna literally look at Nat's wearing face and then just, like, slap the front of your face? Yeah. With Aster.
[0:45:14] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. What is Aster?
[0:45:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh,
[0:45:16] Voice G: shit. Exactly. What is aster?
[0:45:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Nat.
[0:45:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: What it? What is the... Do you guys know? Do you guys in the world, you can't spell disaster without aster, but you can't spell hyperliquidated without hyperliquid. Right?
[0:45:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: The sound part's a little too long, but like it. Like it. How long have you been sitting on that joke? That's for eight years, my friend. I just Oh my god.
[0:45:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sitting into my back pocket and waiting for this purpose.
[0:45:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: She said you cannot spell disaster without aster, and you cannot spell hyperliquidated without hyperliquid. That is... Oh my god. Guys, we are so... I'm clipping all of this today.
[0:45:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: That that was a Ostium vaccine, not a Aster vaccine.
[0:46:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, no. Yes. True.
[0:46:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, to be honest, guys, I think all of it is great. I like Austium. I like Hyperliquid, and I like Aster. I think the... I think Aster and Hyperliquid, they're cheap enough to, like, own both, in my opinion. I'm always careful, especially with crypto, to, like, go all in. Even with Hedera, while I, you know, I love Hedera, it's not my only thing. Right? I spread across.
[0:46:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: I feel like that golden and of itself should land us a sponsorship deal. I... You have my word, guys. I will work because that is gold right there. For Nat to be sitting on that joke for as long as she did, you guys have any idea the patience that that takes? That's like... Talk about playing the long game. Like, Nat was literally playing the long game with that joke. That is nuts.
[0:46:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: And so I wrote it I wrote it down, like, a few months ago, and I just put it into, like... I... You know how you do, like, overgot me? I just did a little,
[0:46:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, overgot me with it and put it on the table. Was like, I'm
[0:46:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: gonna get back to this one. I'm kidding.
[0:46:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did not do that at all. One day, they're gonna love me for this joke. One day. Today was that day. Today is that day that we all fell in love with your jokes. I mean
[0:47:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: Thank you, guys.
[0:47:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Leaving Landy behind is, you know, it's something. You know? He's not gonna be happy, but puppets dad jokes are old news. Natalie is the new lead joke writer
[0:47:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: for existing. I am honored, guys. I am so honored to wear this badge. On the same as no, I do like hyper liquid. I do think they're doing phenomenal things, and they actually have real, real income. And I think that's very important in the crypto space.
[0:47:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's it's... I mean, we... Guys, if you... I know y'all might not be throwing emojis, but come on. Like, we... This is the space. And shout out to empress. I will shout empress out to the n freaking degree... Like like, till the cows come home because she was on here literally six to eight months ago. And I know we knew about hyperliquid, but nobody was shoving hyperliquid down our throats like empress was and for good reason. Like, we saw this. Like, she saw this clearly. Right? And it forced us all to pay attention because I know based on the reactions that we got when she was up here talking about it, it might have been a little bit of a, you know, a... Like, what was I gonna say? A curse a curse laden, you know, like, tirade on hyperliquid of why you should love it. But nonetheless, she crushed it. And this is why, like, ATC is my my opinion. Hands down the best damn crypto show on the planet. So shout out to Empress wherever you are Also, you for putting us on Thyper.
[0:48:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know what else was alpha? Sorting silver above 100. Congratulations if you did.
[0:48:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: What in the world? Why? I'm sitting here minding my own business. Literally just minding my own business, and you have to come... Like, I wasn't bothering you. Like, why?
[0:48:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: I just happen to get a notification from Silver. It's like, Silver is currently at $75. I'm like, oh,
[0:48:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: She said, oh. Oh, you're gonna have to throw, like, the Espanol,
[0:49:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: like Are you off for two, Dave, against that?
[0:49:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'm... No. No. I... Woah. Woah. Back up,. I did not lose that bet. Okay? Silver is just gonna hover here forever and keep us... Keep this bet open because Nat said 50. I said one thirty. It might be closer to one fifty, and she's gonna say this nonsense. I... I'm gonna beat her to this punch. It's close to no... It's close to the 50 than it is to one thirty. Yeah. She wasn't saying this. You didn't have the same energy when it was at one twenty. Mhmm. Mhmm.
[0:49:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: This is... So all I all... I just need everyone here to remind Dave to make that pose not at the end of the day at, like, 10:00 when Nat and I was gonna go to bed, but, like, early in the morning as soon as silver hits 50. Okay? I'll give him, like, a 30? Okay. Silver will hit 30 at some point in our lifetime. Right? But the deal is
[0:49:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy. Not referring to herself in third person is officially, like, peak, like, peak, like, market top vibes right now. I don't even know what
[0:49:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: saying we're gonna go to 35.
[0:49:59] Kool @koolcryptovc: I do have a question for you guys, man. What do you what you... With with all the, you know, Iran, Israel, US madness, war going on right now, Where do you guys think, you know, we're headed, man? I mean, thing... Things are... These things are pretty crazy on my timeline with the, you know, all the fear, all that. But what do you what do you think... Do do you think things do escalate? I'm hearing about, you know, oil going to $1.50 or 200 and Bitcoin probably going to $30.20. I just... It's just... It's pretty bad out there, though. I'm not gonna lie. The fear.
[0:50:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: What do guys think? You you might not... Like, people might not pay attention to the puppet when he speaks because, goddamn it, he speaks for seven hours, and people tail off after thirty seconds. But if you listened yesterday, he was like, people that are calling for $200 oil are psychos. I remember him specifically saying that. They're all crazies. So, Natalie, what do you say? Like, can you defend your friend?
[0:50:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I see oil spiking. Okay. I see it revisiting the highs. Right? Maybe a slight run above it by, like, one thirty ish area, but 200, two fifty. I saw I saw my timeline. Someone said 500. That... Woof. I don't think I would be scared if if oil hits 500. But you know what's funny, Kool? A lot of this we were talking about in December. I'm not sure if if you remember that. And it's funny because... Show me the chart. I'll tell you the news. We were talking about oil moving. We were talking about energy moving. We didn't see a war playing out. Right? We just knew that something was happen... Happening. And most recently, I was I was on the space talking about natural gas. Like, guys, the chart is telling me, you know, it's saying something. We're gonna... Natural gas is getting ready for for a move. I don't know when, but it's gonna make that move. And what happened was it last night that a a natural gas facility was bombed in Iran, and now natural gas had a big spike today, which is very interesting. Right? But in in in terms of the market, you have to keep in mind that the market is forward looking. Right? The danger is how long this war goes on for. Right? If it goes on for longer than the market anticipates or longer than the market has priced in, we might be in trouble. But even if BTC goes on to 35, this is... I've been calling BTC 35 to 25 for many, many months last year. Right? So if it does go down to that level, it would be expected because it's in the charts already. Those levels are already laid out.
[0:52:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: You said because Are you trying listener. Yeah. Also
[0:52:30] Kkoma @itskkoma: Wait. Wait. Nanette. Okay. How about this? Should we put a timeline on when that could be possible?
[0:52:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. Exact... You... Komi took the words out of my mouth. Eventually, it's gonna swing at some point. The pendulum will swing at some point. But Wait. Hold on. Let's let's let's just
[0:52:46] Kkoma @itskkoma: take a to win I a I just just want want Dave to win a bet once. You know, just trying to help
[0:52:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: him out. Won't listen to me, Como?
[0:52:52] Voice K: No. No. I'm listening to you.
[0:52:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm just asking you when. When. That's what
[0:52:54] Bread @_ToastMalone: he said.
[0:52:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Said that.
[0:52:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: He said that. Right? I... Yeah. He said that.
[0:52:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: I 100% he
[0:52:58] Kkoma @itskkoma: said that.
[0:52:58] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I heard him say this. Like, I wanna let you
[0:53:00] Kkoma @itskkoma: play Oh, you know you know how to trigger NetNET? Well, we'll let we'll let... We'll just let the AI decide. You know? We'll just let the AI tool us to automate everything. Pushing us. But
[0:53:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy work. Crazy work. That net's like, no.
[0:53:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: I said it could help.
[0:53:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: I said that you need the AI to help. But listen. Like, she... I mean, Bitcoin 35,000. Natalie, I'm with coma. When?
[0:53:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: I wish I had a crystal ball that can tell you the time and date of the hour. Right?
[0:53:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: She said she said, fame me at your own peril,
[0:53:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: Larry. I think I didn't
[0:53:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: think Did you guys did
[0:53:35] Kkoma @itskkoma: you guys 100 k.
[0:53:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: I won't tell you when, though.
[0:53:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Coma. Did you guys not remember the space where I said, I'm going to say this, and I'm gonna say it slow. Keep your eyes on oil
[0:53:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: I do. You were talking. That's, retards. I do remember that.
[0:53:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Can Can do remember
[0:53:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: the Yeah. As if, like, that was gonna make it hit harder. So she could also say it now. You know what? You are playing the long game. Kudos to you. Like, she is playing. She's like, listen. Do you guys remember when I did this? Like, I was talking to you super slowly because I understand that the majority of you listening aren't gonna be able to pick up what I'm saying.
[0:54:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exactly.
[0:54:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: So if I say it slow like this, which, by the way, I'm all for, 35,000. [name unclear] said full capitulation, 29. That said, I'm with you. And then call for 30... I mean, call 35 before, but [name unclear] piled on a 29. Come up. I don't know. I'm a
[0:54:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: But that's the thing. It is all about the long game. Listen. Intelligent investors are good at doing nothing for a prolonged period of time.
[0:54:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: And that's crushing it with the sayings today also, by the way. Like, like, the old ad... There's an old crypto adage that says, you know, the Warren Buffett, like, things are in effect today, but you're right, Nat, at the end of the day. But then she'll also tell you she's a trader on the short term time frame. You don't know. Nat does everything. You guys don't even, like
[0:55:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: So he did... There's there's something called leaps. I don't know if you know that on... In the stock market. Right? It allows you to buy option contracts that expire one, two, or three years out. Right? So you can be a trader and still trade these long term derivatives.
[0:55:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Do they have that in Hyperliquid?
[0:55:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, I have no idea.
[0:55:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is Austium not a sponsor? Like, what the hell?
[0:55:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, we can make that happen. We... I I can connect you with Glow?
[0:55:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes, please. Yes, please.
[0:55:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Alright. I have his telegram. I'll I'll text him.
[0:55:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. See what I'm talking about? This is how deals happen, ladies and gents. Long term, like, long term investing. You heard it here first. But... Yeah. Yeah. I mean, come out. You've officially derailed me. Like, I I was I was cooking, but now I'm just like, but it was relevant what you said. But now I'm just like, ugh. And now Ryan's gonna try and come up and just, like, try and, like, like, you know?
[0:55:54] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, I'm I'm Nat's little helper. And when she doesn't have the information at her disposal, I jump up and tell her that she just hasn't had a chance to read it because she's so busy writing down all of these one liners to just, like, drop you. I mean, just really, that's what just happened. But I digress. Right now, you can only buy options contracts on Derivate, but there is a cool, crypto company out there called Deriv, d e r I v e. And, they are the ones that are gonna be doing, offering additional contracts. So that's the that's the other platform. Okay.
[0:56:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Does that... When did you...
[0:56:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Thank you, Ryan. Yeah.
[0:56:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: When did you get groupies? You have groupies now? Absolutely.... God. The puppy's out here recruiting.
[0:56:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's because Ryan Ryan has all that. He makes money too. Okay? Ryan listens when I speak and I call these plays out, and he gets in and he makes his money.
[0:56:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. Ryan, were you paying attention when Natalie was talking like this so that it hit harder and she was talking to us all slow?
[0:57:06] Ryan @Rlad1776: Dave, how do you think my wife has been talking to me for thirty four years? Okay. That is what... That is why it comes across so crystal clear, and I listen to every single word, my man. Fair enough. I like being alive. Okay?
[0:57:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Happy wife. Happy life, ladies and gentlemen. You heard it here first. When your wife starts to talk to you like a two year old. Yeah. Yes. You like this, honey? Yes.
[0:57:31] Ryan @Rlad1776: You sit down. You you gently, female cross your legs, and you put a slight smile on your face and you listen to every word because trust me, they will ask you to repeat it and you better be verbatim.
[0:57:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Said you tuck your nuts between your legs. Yes. You cross them nice like a nice little girl would. That's amazing, Ryan. Come on, dude. Bro, I gotta I gotta survive in I gotta survive in the jungle, man. It's a jungle, brother. That's fair. That's fair. That is fair.
[0:58:03] Ryan @Rlad1776: Alright. I'm out. Point, brother.
[0:58:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Peace. Love you.
[0:58:05] Voice G: Thanks for having our back.
[0:58:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Love you, Ryan. That was actually a great
[0:58:09] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm very offended that you don't think I have your back, Nat and Marni, like this
[0:58:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: is Woah. After you throw me out of
[0:58:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: the bus, you want me
[0:58:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: to think you A bus. My back?
[0:58:17] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. What bus? Yeah.
[0:58:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean bus. You did, comma, as... I mean, the... Literally Marni. Yeah. It was it was six minutes ago, comma, when you said, hey. You wanna know how to trigger NatNet? Like, literally, that's... I'm... From looking at the transcript in real time, that's exactly what you said. Mhmm. But... Yeah.
[0:58:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: You did say that.
[0:58:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: I just wanted...
[0:58:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: You want me to play it out and and and...
[0:58:37] Kkoma @itskkoma: I just wanted some clarity around when this would happen because I think Dave Dave could use, like, a win in his life right now.
[0:58:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: So Nope. Nope. Coma, you you can't get this one. Right? If that was a clarity joke... A clarity act joke also, like, you're not... Like, you can't.
[0:58:50] Kkoma @itskkoma: What... What's the clarity act? I I know you're Exactly. Literally just asking for more clarity.
[0:58:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. See what I'm saying?
[0:58:55] Kkoma @itskkoma: Stop overthinking what I'm trying to say.
[0:58:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Bro, you guys made me this way. Okay? Like, this is not, like, my... By my mind.
[0:59:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: Not here. Don't worry.
[0:59:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, but this is... You don't think I'm Chad GPT? Like, it's reflex at this point. I'm just like, any updates on Clarity Act? Like, what's new? Right? Like, this is what I do on the space. Why do you think I'm elite? Anyways because
[0:59:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: you're elite?
[0:59:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. True. I sleep. I guess maybe five minute later. That's fair, comma. That's fair. But, anyways, I love when people first come into the space. Hey, Michika. First off, when you come into a space late, you wanna follow the host. An instant request? Nah. That's not gonna happen, bro. But but feel free to hang tight for a little bit. Actually, listen to what, like, is going on in the conversation. And if you too feel like roasting coma or nat nat or have some interesting tidbits that you'd like to contribute to the conversation, we're all for it in the comments. Okay? In the comments. But... Yeah. Love those folks. Love those folks. Also, does Stella have a new... Is that new PFP, like, an ordinal? And, Cool, do you have one of those? Is that... I don't even know
[1:00:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: what that is. PFP as far as looking at it. That's actually pretty cool.
[1:00:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: It... I mean, it's Stella, so it has to be from the Bitcoin ecosystem. No? I feel like I feel like it has to be. Yeah. Go ahead, Koma. Wait. You've thought... No. No. I'm not gonna let you go.
[1:00:23] Kkoma @itskkoma: I just have a random thought. Like Yeah. I was thinking about successful Polymarket is, and I'm thinking about how successful hype... Hyperliquid is. Like, is there really no successful, like, web three projects that are, like, outside of, like, just pure degeneracy and gambling? You know what I mean? Like, I think I was talking to Brett about this yesterday, but literally all the successful things in Web three aren't about, like, social, like, proof or anything like, you know, DAO or if... You know, we just... I just saw, like... I I made a post about this yesterday. I was like, I have no idea what this company tally is, but apparently, they raised, like, $8,000,000 for some, like, autonomous... Automated autonomous DAO or something, and now they're shutting down. So it just made me think about, like, a lot of these, like, web three successful projects are just pure, like, financial based. Yeah.
[1:01:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: It hurts my feelings, right, when you completely discredit the two and a half years that Brett and I spent in the ENS trenches that you don't know about Tally, which is ridiculous at this point. Okay?
[1:01:22] Kkoma @itskkoma: Even if Brett didn't know about Tally when he was telling me this.
[1:01:25] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. I completely forgotten what the hell they even did.
[1:01:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: How are you gonna... Like, give me back your ENS badge, bro. This is insane.
[1:01:32] Bread @_ToastMalone: What's one, bro? There's a lot.
[1:01:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: There's so many. But, yeah, Koma, you're right. Bro, it's all, like, digit... If that doesn't tell you, right, like, the the little microcosm that we're in, this is you... This is your audience right now. And hyperliquid and polymarket are just the real world applications for, like, where people can potentially see this having product market fit, this degeneracy. And it's polymarket and and hyperliquid. It's futures.
[1:01:58] Bread @_ToastMalone: It has to it has to go back to DeFi. Like, realistically, that's what has always been the most profitable teams, companies, anything in Web three. It's always come back to some sort of DeFi tie in, whether it's staking, whether it's yield bearing, whether it's lending protocols, like swaps, bridges, exchanges, like, those are all the companies that are actually profitable. It's a bummer that the IP thing hasn't taken off yet or people haven't found the right, you know, product market fit for it. But, you know, I think there is something there, but it hasn't... Nobody's done it correctly yet, I guess.
[1:02:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, you know, you know, profitability kinda mean... Like, in the financial world, typically means that you probably, like, need that to have any sort of success and not be judged by, it's the community, or we're solving the biggest problem in web three. You guys know where that comes from. Anyways.
[1:02:58] Bread @_ToastMalone: Who's that? Is that what Monat's doing right now?
[1:03:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did, bro. I swear that shit's still... I'm so salty. Wow. I don't know what to say.
[1:03:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: You can't blame anyone about about this one. Right? You did it on your... You did it to yourself.
[1:03:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: I knew you were gonna Wow. I knew you were gonna say. I knew you. See that? Coma
[1:03:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: because none
[1:03:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: of us
[1:03:15] Kkoma @itskkoma: had anything. You literally you literally threw yourself under the bus there.
[1:03:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: Wow. I'm
[1:03:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: so... No. But you're not supposed to pile on. Exactly. Stays on mute. Exactly. Nat is not Nat
[1:03:25] Kkoma @itskkoma: was laughing behind the scenes, I'm sure.
[1:03:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: No way. But I was
[1:03:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: laughing at you, not at Dave.
[1:03:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Laughing with you. That goes that goes unsaid. Alright? Sometimes you just have to let me do my thing, and it doesn't require being, you know, additionally shot on. I can shit on myself, but, like, it's different. It hits different
[1:03:43] Kkoma @itskkoma: Can you say that again? What did he say?
[1:03:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: I I I said when I shit on myself.
[1:03:46] Voice K: No. No. No. No.
[1:03:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. What did Roger say? What was his saying?
[1:03:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, we're solving the biggest the biggest problem in web three.
[1:03:52] NatNat @Natnatx007: It sounds just like that.
[1:03:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Wait a minute.
[1:03:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: Coma is coming at you, but wasn't Coma one of the 26 in the beginning? Yeah. The first 26.
[1:04:03] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, why Nate? Why why it's weird in these when you have
[1:04:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: friends like Nate? Uh-huh. You see that? You see that deflection he just did that? It was like, pew. It... Like, I shot... The bullet was shot from your gun, and it was like a superhero movie where he was just like, bam. And he puts, like, the Captain America shield, and the bullet ricochets and hits me right in the head. Kill shot.
[1:04:21] Kkoma @itskkoma: You know, biggest regret is, you know
[1:04:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: Putting your name on the hat for them for giving me the first
[1:04:26] Kkoma @itskkoma: gave out. I didn't listen to, but I just followed Dave and look at me now. You know, aligners, wag me. Zyber. Zyber.
[1:04:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, I'm the... Like, I'm... I literally
[1:04:38] Kkoma @itskkoma: And here I am not listening to study
[1:04:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: There needs to be an award show. Yeah. Listen. There needs to be an award show, and I need to get the award for... If you see me come on to a project, and I'm sorry for any of you wall chain maxis, run.
[1:04:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, damn.
[1:04:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just run. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[1:04:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Oh, s link is good, though. S link is good. I like s link. S link.
[1:04:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. We... It it nuked overnight. We didn't have no idea what's going on with
[1:04:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: s link.
[1:05:00] Bread @_ToastMalone: So I'm starting a... I'm gonna be starting a Genic driven inverse Dave fund. If anybody's interested, you can
[1:05:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: put in
[1:05:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: the DMs. For sure. Like... Yeah.
[1:05:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Marni, what do you mean, yeah, for sure? What the hell? That's the one thing that you're gonna come off mute for? That's crazy. This is insane. Shout out to s link that's in the building.
[1:05:21] Kkoma @itskkoma: Like, man, s link.
[1:05:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm making jokes. This is for content.
[1:05:23] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know know what I would much rather, Brad, if you're gonna be a bot? Inverse coma. That would be wonderful.
[1:05:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, he is tops. Like, he is tops. But you also have to realize you're too early to something, Natalie. Right? Like, I didn't think Polymarket was gonna launch a token. I thought they were... There was... Like, if you would have asked me, I would have bet the farm on Polymarket launching it... Against Polymarket launching a token. But, like, look, like, CMO confirmed. Everybody else confirmed. It's like token coming before an IPO.
[1:05:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: Interesting.
[1:05:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's when you know you're, like, literally the big swing in the in the room. You know? Like, you could do whatever you want.
[1:06:01] Bread @_ToastMalone: They'll do it pre IPO so that they can generate more revenue on the volume fees and increase their actual IPO price.
[1:06:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Their own chain, run their own validator. Right?
[1:06:09] Kkoma @itskkoma: Like a liquidity liquidity provider thing for for Yeah. Polymarket right now. It's insane. Like Uh-huh. I've been... I made, like, $10, like, yesterday just just having open positions and then
[1:06:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: they got triggered. We've talked about Austin's article yes... Literally yesterday, bro. You might have been deep in the in the prediction market trenches like you've typically been, and you've neglected us. But I'm glad you've officially come home. But... Yeah. Like, there's, like, there's money to be made. We talked about
[1:06:37] Kkoma @itskkoma: So much money.
[1:06:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. On... For March Madness, 2,000,000 in LP rewards. I see what Austin is putting out. Like like, that's... There's money here. There is 100% the ability to make, like, good money here LP ing, and it's not... I mean, if you're paying attention, there's not like a craze... There's risk, of course, with everything. But, like, you know, again, you have to be super active on it. But my man's making 200... He would make a... He made a $178. A $178 yesterday.
[1:07:04] Bread @_ToastMalone: Dude, what's gonna be what's gonna be interesting to see is if the people... Like like, I don't... I've never even actually logged into Polymarket, like, as a human. You know what I mean? Like, set up a username and password and, like, all of that stuff, like, not once. Everything I've done has been via an agent and API calls. Right? And so, like, are they mapping this by wallets, or are they gonna be air dropping to, like, users? Because, like, you can't claim rewards as an API. Right? You have to be logged in as a user to claim the the LP rewards, right, for providing that stuff right now that they're doing. You have to actually log in. And Right. I'll there's no way to do
[1:07:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: it via API. This much. I thought that was the case. Right? And I didn't think that tater users were gonna be eligible for, let's say, like, an Avantis airdrop, like, trading, like, perps on chain, I was eligible for the Avantis airdrop. Right? Like... But I
[1:07:54] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. But you have an account, though. Like, when you sign up with Tater, it's like you're using your axe Yeah. And that's an account that you log into, and they issue you a wallet.
[1:08:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah.
[1:08:02] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. No. I spin up a new wallet every week. But with Polygon what I mean?
[1:08:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like that via just a wallet, like like, wallet eligibility? What... What's the difference?
[1:08:09] Bread @_ToastMalone: That's what I'm wondering. Yeah. I'm hoping they do it based on wallet and then just drop to wallets and not to users. Because, right, like, yeah, because you can't claim fees as just a wallet. You have to be a user.
[1:08:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Dang. I got you. Okay. Okay. Okay. I was like, wait a minute. Was he... I get that. Right? So you can't claim fees if you... But, like, so wait. But if you log in to Polymarket via Google and they spin up a wallet for you, then you can claim fees? No shit. I did not know that. Wow. Okay.
[1:08:38] Kkoma @itskkoma: I was talking to Austin yesterday, and he's... Like, there were... Like, there are people that are putting $200,000 into these, like, liquidity pools on both sides. I'm just like, what the fuck? How do people have so much money?
[1:08:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: 100... Yeah. It's like when when there's op... That's when you know there's real opportunity to make money because the same way that we farmed Infofy, you don't think they're gonna farm Talshi and Polymarket? Like, y'all create the LP pools? You don't think that's gonna happen? Like, imagine putting... Austin's playing with a thousand dollars making almost $200 a day. You don't think 200 making you a few thousand dollars on a daily basis is appealing to most people with money? Come on. And, come on. I just got an alert. Katana listed on Coinbase. Sunny d, what's up? Yeah.
[1:09:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yo. I just wanted to say that I think Coma should change his PFP back to the funny guy wearing a mask.
[1:09:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like that one. Which one?
[1:09:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, yeah. Yeah. I I can do that one. Yeah.
[1:09:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Matt, you even have backup that comes. Like, not only groupies, but you have backup that then shows up in the form of Sunny d that's like, oh, coma?
[1:09:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: Teamwork makes the dream work, guys.
[1:09:49] Kkoma @itskkoma: I didn't even know that was actually a a slide. I thought that was a compliment because he liked my profile picture.
[1:09:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: But Oh, no.
[1:09:54] Kkoma @itskkoma: I bet you It could be for either.
[1:09:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Oh, that's fair. You you you were Switzerland on this one. Okay. I mean, maybe I just took it that way because I like I like
[1:10:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: If he's not gonna if he's not gonna say directly, I'm just gonna say... He probably thinks the wolf is ugly.
[1:10:08] Bread @_ToastMalone: The jackal.
[1:10:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's a jackal.
[1:10:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Sorry. Oh, shit.
[1:10:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: It's just way more funnier watching Just never pays attention. With that PFP.
[1:10:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Which PFP are we talking about? Like, this isn't the the Ozuki one. Which one?
[1:10:22] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. His billions network. Wasn't it billions network one?
[1:10:25] Kkoma @itskkoma: Frowny guy. The frowny guy with the mask.
[1:10:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is I like it. Did you like
[1:10:30] Kkoma @itskkoma: it, or did you... Or you genuinely didn't like it at all? No. I I liked it.
[1:10:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. He didn't. Because every
[1:10:37] Kkoma @itskkoma: time he talked, it was like that guy was talking.
[1:10:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. That's literally like Nat talking really slow except the complete opposite version. He's like, yeah. I think I liked it, but not really. It was just funny. You know? Sunny d, shout out to you, bro.
[1:10:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: Was it funny, though?
[1:10:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, now you're gonna shoot back at at Sunny d? Like, how you gonna
[1:11:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: shoot back? No. This is for coma. This is
[1:11:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: for coma. Oh, the PFP. Was the PFP fun? Okay. That's fair. Okay. That's fair. Sunnyd, nice work.
[1:11:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Slower next time. Yeah. Did.
[1:11:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: If you guys aren't understanding words that are coming out of my mouth, then I'm going to speak slowly and slower, and coma has shitty PFP game. Okay? Go back to the old... That's when you know we have loyal audience. When they don't remember your last PFP coma, they remember the PFP before before that one. You know what I'm saying? Damn. Sunny d deserves... Like, Sunny d wins MVP for this one. I gotta be honest. He does. Sunny d, shout out to you. Let's go.
[1:11:47] Kkoma @itskkoma: I still remember your PFP with the purple sweater and the small, like, legs and the hat.
[1:11:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like that. That was me.
[1:11:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: The one the one that, like, he was, like, out working out, like, Rocky, like, the middle of the night. Natalie. Natalie. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
[1:11:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: Natalie, what the hell? What is this? The man, when he waited, he ended up being
[1:12:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: a queen.
[1:12:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just kidding.
[1:12:06] Kkoma @itskkoma: No one's safe today from that, Naz.
[1:12:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: I was... Coma, I was I was all, like, short and chubby and and pudgy in that in that picture. You know what I'm saying? I was literally, like, the little fact that, like, she was like, you went out on a run? Yeah. I wish I went out on a run. I just looked like I was out on a run. You know? Like, I was like
[1:12:22] Bread @_ToastMalone: They just just came up the stairs.
[1:12:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: I like the other one where you you you have your, like, your hand behind Nat Nat in the, like, the Coldplay style concert image one. Yeah. One's a good one too. Would you? Yeah, that one was good.
[1:12:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're baiting me on that one, but that's fair. I'm I'm I'm gonna let that one go.
[1:12:39] Kkoma @itskkoma: And then we we made your head even bigger.
[1:12:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mhmm. Uh-huh. I know where you're with that one. We're gonna leave that one there, Tom. I'm like, come try.
[1:12:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: How do you remove speakers from the face again?
[1:12:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. I see. Xiaolin came up. Xiaolin, what's good, bro? How are you?
[1:12:54] Voice I: Bro, I just wanted to hang out with some fam. I've been so much... Like, I've been so busy working that sometimes you just gotta come up and show up for your friends and then just, you know, just talk the shit, man. By the way, shout out to Brad because, dude, when you've gotta go throwback on your PFP like that, it just brings me right back to that 2122 vibes.
[1:13:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're literally gonna
[1:13:14] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hell yeah. The Mori's, man. Like, they don't get any love, bro. They don't get any love out here.
[1:13:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hell, you might be the only one that literally has, like, give... Like, that has recognized that p... Nobody knows what the hell that is. So, like, you're definitely What?
[1:13:27] Voice I: Oh, bro. OG, man. They they were the first one to break into mental health, man. The... You buy that NFT, you get, again, mental health, services and things, obviously, before the bull... The bear happened. But, nonetheless, it was one of those things that really had real utility. And, you know, they had so many whales buying, so many of the different IP that basically would probably get you a cease and desist now, but, you know, that's what happens. That's what happens.
[1:13:56] Bread @_ToastMalone: Well, bro, and they've got the game that they've been tee... Oh, yeah. So, like, yeah, they were the first team to have, like, real utility. It was, like, back in 2022. It was, like, free telehealth mental health services if you were a crypto mori, right, which is, like, awesome. You know? And then over the years, they, you know, completely went off radar. And, but then the past two years, they've been, you know, they're developing a game. Like, they they dove in. They decided to go down the dead end road of web three gaming, and, they started building a game.
[1:14:23] Voice I: It does. Yeah.
[1:14:25] Bread @_ToastMalone: It does hurt. But, like, ultimately, they, I mean, they have the development team. Like, the original development team from Crash Bandicoot has been making their game. You know? And if you've ever played that, I mean, like, that's a classic game. You know what I mean? So, like, they're still building. Right? You know, I'm not Bro.
[1:14:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Playing Dave with my morgue. Do you tell he's
[1:14:45] Voice I: a little lulu and that
[1:14:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: he's just gotta pump his bag? Bro, what's going on? Hope is so serious, Sheldon, right now. He's like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This literally is 2021. He's like, they had the develop... They had the developer for crash bandicoot. Like, this... This goes to show you that it's, like, any level of degeneracy, even the ones that bring you back, like, you know, to, like, your days of, like, gaming. You know? Even new... Bro.
[1:15:07] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hang on. I I prefaced that by saying they went down the dead end road that is web three gaming.
[1:15:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: But that would used to be your pitch, right, like, in spaces for sure. I just shot DocNooNoo, like, an actual invite because I'm like, she's an NFT junkie. She said she remembers the crypto Moris. I even spelled it wrong. I spelled it like Mori Povich, but apparently it's m 0 r I e s.
[1:15:28] Bread @_ToastMalone: The crypto Mori... Mori's. The Mori's.
[1:15:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's the first time I ever got a laugh out of bread from a joke. If you guys don't think I'm cooking today, I don't know what you're doing. Okay? I am so feeling myself today. I'm just
[1:15:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: saying cooking.
[1:15:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm so cooking.
[1:15:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: With the gas stove.
[1:15:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Know what the difference is. Right, Dave?
[1:15:46] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm here.
[1:15:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: No coma. No. It's not... That's not the case, bro. It's not. Okay? It's just not.
[1:15:55] Bread @_ToastMalone: Bro, speaking of Mori, should we, like, launch, like, on chain paternity tests? Because, like, that would that would slash.
[1:16:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now we're talking. Now we are talk... Finally, you guys are So how was...
[1:16:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: How how how would that work?
[1:16:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: You are Like, the results, you don't get them.
[1:16:09] Bread @_ToastMalone: They just Yeah.
[1:16:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, you're Yeah.
[1:16:10] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. They just... They get minted to the chain before you see them. So, like, you have to go, like, here's the transaction hash.
[1:16:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Go look it up. And then you get a... You are you
[1:16:17] Voice I: are you are the father SPT token, bro.
[1:16:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's what I'm saying. And we get all the derivative projects to be like, you are mutant party apes. You are not the father. You know, mutant apes, you are not the father. It's like, oh my god. And then they don't get diluted. You know? Like, this is this is gold bread. This is what I'm talking about. Thank you for contributing. See what hap... Like, Coma comes back, and he thinks just because he's throwing his 2¢ in every three seconds, and it's just like, oh, like, it's fair game. You know? He had some great ones.
[1:16:45] Kkoma @itskkoma: Prefer, like, every three seconds or, like, a Landy style of, like, thirty minutes? Like
[1:16:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Why do I have to choose? I mean Why do I have to choose? I feel like point.
[1:16:54] Kkoma @itskkoma: You're, like, two bad things. You know?
[1:16:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like I know. You guys are literally the opposite ends of the spectrum, and it's just... This is why I'm elite because I figure out how to manage the two of you. It's like, forget it. Just be like Matt and laugh at all my jokes and then contribute a ridiculous amount of alpha, and, like, we'll be good. You know? Don't sprinkle it in with, like, you know, crisis management and babysitting. You know what I'm saying? God. Feel for me a little bit. Fuck. Makoma, we are happy to have you back from the prediction market, Trent. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. You're welcome. You're welcome.
[1:17:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm happy you came out for air, Kumar.
[1:17:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Yo. Pause all the that. Get back to work. Of that. I am happy you came up for air. What in the hell? And then she comes up with something
[1:17:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: like this. What?
[1:17:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. No. No.
[1:17:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. How did your brain go all the way over there, David?
[1:17:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's fair. That's fair. Yeah. Do you not know my brain at this point, Natalie? Like, I literally operate on goon time. Like, this is... Like, it's just... It's my brain. Anyways... Yeah. Where was I gonna go? Goon time is literally how my brain operates. Like, I goon all day every day. It's insane. I goon in the DMs. I goon on Telegram voice chats. What is rude?
[1:18:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I feel like I am... I'm a You
[1:18:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: don't know what gooning is? No. Yeah. Okay. So let me... You want me to get, like, the... What's the... Oh my god. Bread. The urban dictionary.
[1:18:11] Kkoma @itskkoma: Mean Do you really wanna go?
[1:18:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: You really wanna go? But bottom line, Natalie
[1:18:15] Bread @_ToastMalone: Is this gonna be an educational space now?
[1:18:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Kinda. But if you don't know what gooning is, it's essentially like you're a goon in the... Like Oh my god. I have to go. I'm a... Yeah. I'm a sexual degenerate, not a predator. Like, I'm just a sexual degenerate. That's how my brain functions. It's like actual sexual degeneracy is the fur... Is my first... You know what I'm saying? It's like my... It's my go to. I can't help it. This is who I am.
[1:18:43] Bread @_ToastMalone: Are you are you dancing around the definition? Or like, because, like, you're close. Well, I mean... Alright. So, like, earmuffs for all the children in the room. Right? Ultimately, gooning, right, is when you're, you know, you know, playing with yourself for hours on end. It's like it's like a a new kid slang version of, like, edging. You're, like, edging yourself just to be edging yourself for hours is what gooning actually is. Yeah.
[1:19:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Was actually a very good politically correct, definition of gooning so as to not get a fine. That was very impressive. Natalie, you're like
[1:19:23] Bread @_ToastMalone: That's poof. That's the PR journey coming back from, like like, the depths of my brain.
[1:19:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. 100%. Yeah. Gooning. Natalie, like, that
[1:19:33] Kkoma @itskkoma: How did we get here exactly?
[1:19:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: I brought us here.
[1:19:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: It's your fault, Homer.
[1:19:38] Bread @_ToastMalone: Elisa Elisa Brain Rod. Brain Rod brought us here.
[1:19:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thank god. DocNooNoo finally came up. I was like, how long is she gonna let me die on this hill, on the Gooning Hill? Like
[1:19:46] Kkoma @itskkoma: Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Can we rewind? I just really wanna know. So you talked about Gooning because you're talking about net net for some reason. What what was the what was the
[1:19:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: connection on number? She said, Koma, I'm glad you came up for air. And I said, pause all of that. And then she was like, what the hell is that? Why would you pause that? And I was just like, I mean, it's
[1:20:03] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, okay. Okay.
[1:20:04] Kool @koolcryptovc: Got it.
[1:20:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Got it. Goon mentality.
[1:20:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: This makes sense makes sense.
[1:20:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Six degrees of Kevin Bacon. You know what I'm saying? But DocNooNoo came up. DocNooNoo, what's up?
[1:20:12] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: Hi. I'm totally clipping that segment of the show.
[1:20:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hyre, don't clip that segment of the show, please.
[1:20:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. He won't he won't... Hyre for some music, he skips over the funny part and just go straight to the controversial.
[1:20:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, I feel like gooning is right up higher's alley. You know? And I feel like they search for when we say higher in the... What's it called? So higher higher high... Oh, no. No. No. Don't say higher. Lower lower lower lower. See, comma? See how Nat laughs at the stupid jokes also? That's what that's what it means to part this...
[1:20:44] Bread @_ToastMalone: You better be careful repeating words like that or Shirley Lowe's gonna show
[1:20:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: up. Shirley Lowe.
[1:20:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Just say it in the mirror with the with the lights off. Sweet time.
[1:20:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey, guys. Hey, guys. Wait. DocNooNoo, do you remember the Crypto Mori's? M o r e m o r I e s, by the way.
[1:21:02] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: I I do. I love them. Their art was great, and they had a good community. I never owned one. I think they were expensive from what I remember. But... Yeah.
[1:21:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? They were expensive?
[1:21:13] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: Brad, what was the all time high?
[1:21:16] Bread @_ToastMalone: Oh, boy. At its peak, I think, like, I think we we were over an e... We were one and a half eth, two eth. And you held Like, four? Long? I had multiple, and I held this one.
[1:21:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: God. And this is the people that we're literally putting in front of an audience to actually, like, give them advice.
[1:21:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: Wow.
[1:21:32] Bread @_ToastMalone: To be fair, I sold a couple of them, but I still hold Okay.
[1:21:35] Kkoma @itskkoma: Fair. That was a
[1:21:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: good disclaimer. Like, you you squee... You that one in at the end. Thank you. I'm
[1:21:39] Bread @_ToastMalone: still definitely in the red very much so for these investments. But
[1:21:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: You mean bread?
[1:21:44] Bread @_ToastMalone: No. It wasn't It
[1:21:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: can help a little bit. Right? Because I
[1:21:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: think you're... You you did
[1:21:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: a great job accumulating some of these things. Right? It could be worse. To kill me. It could be worse. Right? You could buy... You could have purchased a monkey, PSP, for a million dollars and have it be worth, like, I don't know, like, 1,000.
[1:22:06] Bread @_ToastMalone: Any any derivative of those monkeys too? I mean, like, I think, like, mutant apes are, what, under half an eth? Or where they they think they clipped half an eth, and then they came back a little bit. Like... Yeah. You know, pulling out for all the the monkey PFPs. Down bad. You know? Pause
[1:22:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: that too. Pull.
[1:22:24] Bread @_ToastMalone: Oh my god. Out for all of the
[1:22:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: David, to the shower.
[1:22:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Go to shower. Web three Web three made me this way. I, like, I don't know what to tell you guys. I'm literally... I was birthed by
[1:22:36] Voice J: the street. You were just born in the way.
[1:22:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, you just live
[1:22:41] Voice J: in the Web 3 Streets. I was born in
[1:22:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: it. You know what I mean? Like, this is it. Like, this is the streets made me. The streets made me like this.
[1:22:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Speaking of Monkey PFE, I think I have... I haven't checked my Phantom wallet in a minute. Let me see. I got this collection called ugly... What's it called? Ugly ape squat. Oh.
[1:23:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is it. This is what I'm saying. This is where crypto morris would come in handy where we take the paternity test, but the m 0 m a u r y s, the morris. You know? It's like, hey. Crypto party apes in that spantom wallet, you are not the father. Like, you know?
[1:23:17] Bread @_ToastMalone: It's pretty much just me and Shoman are the only two Morys that are left out in the space.
[1:23:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: And Sheldon also who just came up here was just like, yeah. Shout out to this. You know? DocNooNoo, did you... Please tell me you wanna chime in on my... On our paternity test idea.
[1:23:32] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: Oh, you probably impregnated the streets knowing you. But did you... You had... I... Do do we already know that Magic Eden is also discontinuing their wallets so not just the marketplace?
[1:23:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, yeah. The...
[1:23:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: I didn't know that.
[1:23:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The wallet also, for
[1:23:49] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: sure. Yeah.
[1:23:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But Okay. But but but they kept... You know what? They kept the goon chain alive. Solana will still be supported. So, obviously, we're doing something right. And Coma is... I've gotta give Coma a credit where credit is due. He's right. All degeneracy and and gambling and gooning kinda go in the same sentence. So... You know? Maybe I did... I Did
[1:24:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: we find out what kind of car Cool got yesterday?
[1:24:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. In the beginning of the show, were you not here? That was the whole opening segment. Oh my god. Sorry. You missed it? Ugh. Were guessing which kind of car he bought. And then he came back and told us it's a very nice Honda Accord, which I believe that he's lying. Not to shame him or anything, but but
[1:24:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: I truth. It is a bear market. You have kids. He has all the important things he wants
[1:24:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: to spend
[1:24:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: his his money on. That's actually very, very smart. He has 16 kids.
[1:24:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: I wouldn't.
[1:24:45] Bread @_ToastMalone: What... That's... He needs a stretch age
[1:24:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: too then.
[1:24:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: Only have two kids, though. Nana, those two those two. That's 16. 16 houses, not 16 kids.
[1:24:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: 16 houses. I mixed them up. I mixed them up. My bad. Thought he had
[1:24:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: two houses and 16 kids.
[1:24:58] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I I I would say, you know, of course, you have the money to buy cars more expensive, but I chose that... Those gold for more practical practical option. Right? But in the process of looking at cars, I just... It's... It is mind bending how insane these things are. Cars are the most
[1:25:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: useless things ever when
[1:25:16] Kool @koolcryptovc: it comes to... Then I invest in, of course, time. Right? What they they depreciate in assets. So I I looked at a couple of cars. I looked at the the the... I looked at the BMW six series. I looked at the Bentley. I looked at Genesis. And what I saw was I saw these cars where, you know, the old the old... Okay. The the newer versions range from 80,000 to 150,000. Just wait five to eight years after these things are going for $16.17 k. That's how much that was a... That's how much value this this this this has lost. So imagine you're buying a Bentley for 350 k. Wait ten, fifteen years, man. I saw I saw Bentley selling for $21,000, man. Imagine you buying a car for $3,350, and in ten years, it's worth 20 k. That is how insane cars are. So when when I when I start... I was trying to be practical about Honda Civic or Honda Accord. No problem. But it's it's... It it it just shows me, like, yeah, you you... The smart people, smart investors don't waste their money on on pricey
[1:26:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: pricey degree.
[1:26:25] Kool @koolcryptovc: Makes no sense. Because houses, I told you guys, I like them. I'm a big house guy. Right? You buy homes, and and they don't go down like that. Mean, they appreciate over time. So it it just doesn't make any sense to spend that much money. Of course, you gotta fund. No problem. Sure. But I... I'm not a big fan of people spend spend that kind of money on cars because they do... Or they just go to zero. They go to zero. They really actually go to zero. It took me three months. I look look. I I want tempted to get some fancy, but I'm like, know what? I'm not trying to keep up with this Joneses, man. I mean, I'll I'll pass that stage. I I just wanna... You know, something chill. So I went went to
[1:27:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: the Honda Civic, man. So it was easier. Think that Honda...
[1:27:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I think that a Honda is a is a great car. And and to that point, when I when I worked at the bank, when I
[1:27:11] Kkoma @itskkoma: did
[1:27:11] NatNat @Natnatx007: banking, one of my my wealthiest clients, he drove a Subaru. I remember him pulling up to the office in a Subaru, and I'm thinking he has a whole bunch of cars, and he just looked at me. He said, no. That's the only car I drive. The rest... The majority of my money is invested into assets, not liabilities.
[1:27:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: You could tell Brett's a Subaru slash dad. Right? Like, all told Subaru did. That's the safe car.
[1:27:40] Bread @_ToastMalone: Hell, yeah. My CV goes real fast.
[1:27:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's the dad car. It's like when people used to buy a Volvo back in the day. It's like, this is, like, power... You know, car and driver's best, like, safest vehicle on the road. Like, voted, like, three years running. Yeah. But but
[1:27:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: to that point, though, cars are massive liability. You know, you drive them off the lot, and they're already losing value.
[1:28:00] Kool @koolcryptovc: Man, not not Basically, meme coins. I saw I saw a a a brand new Bentley 350 k, a Bentley GT. If you see the the older version, the... It... Very very identical to new ones is is selling for $25. I'm like, what? Yes, man. And and even a lot of these cars, like, I saw... Probably, I think the only car that holds value really truly are, like, the, you know
[1:28:27] Kkoma @itskkoma: Four Runners.
[1:28:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: Antique vehicles and and Porsche. Porsche's all their value. But that's that's about it, man. Antique vehicles, Porsches, that's really it. But most most of the vehicles that that you see on roads, man, people are in crazy debt or making $2 a month, a car payment on a car.
[1:28:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's insane. Cool. Why why didn't you buy the $21,000 Bentley, and can I get a link?
[1:28:50] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay. So the the issue... Okay. So, like, I'm I'm I'm obsessed with stuff like this. Right? So the issue with with with with this kind of stuff is the super luxury cars. Super rich people buy them for five years and and give it away. These cars don't last a long time. So I... The longer you hold them, the the less the less... You know, they... They start leaking oil, having all these issues. So they kinda leave the cars to to to the poor people, man, to the poor people to come buy them fifteen years later. Like, your your your car would sit in the shop, like, every other week. The... Those cars aren't meant to be driven for that long. So that's why, you know, a lot of rich guys that own it four, five years, they just trade it in and get something else. But hearing
[1:29:33] NatNat @Natnatx007: I heard the same about Ferrari.
[1:29:34] Bread @_ToastMalone: Yeah. And you can't
[1:29:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: They're not meant to be driven all the time. They That's fair.
[1:29:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Like, that's a that's a real point. And, like, to, like... But to hear a Bentley is bought for purposes of a tax write off after a couple years is kinda nuts. That's nuts.
[1:29:52] Bread @_ToastMalone: Bro, just the brakes on a Bentley is, like, an $8,000 job that you can't... Or not allowed to do yourself because of the tools and everything required. Like, that's why, like, yeah, people... Like, the people that buy those cars, it's their Sunday driver type stuff. You know? And then they're like, oh, it's making a clicking sound. Just get rid of it, I'll go buy another one. You know? It's like, yeah. What?
[1:30:14] Kkoma @itskkoma: Like
[1:30:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: The check engine light is off, but it's like, we need to order a part from this little island right off the coast of Guam that, they make these in. So it's gonna be about $42,000 for new brake pads. And you're just like, what?
[1:30:26] Bread @_ToastMalone: Bro, exactly. That type of stuff, dude. And that's why, like, yeah, the the older ones, they're dirt cheap because they know they're like, oh, yeah. It just needs a water pump. And you're like, oh, dope. A water. Like, I can do that job. You're like, oh, wait. That pump is $17,000. And it'll be here in eight to twelve weeks. So, g g's.
[1:30:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: It sounds like you might need a Crypto Mori, and mental health counseling if you buy a Bentley. I am cooking today. Today.
[1:30:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: My gosh. By the way, did you see this post made by Max, like, forty five minutes ago? Is that you? I don't think that's you. Right? I'm gonna... Oh my gosh. I am going to post it into the Jumbotron.
[1:31:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: What is it?
[1:31:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'll... It's a post... I posted it on... Into the Jumbotron. He's saying love to see the homies make it. Shout out shout out to Dave for his big break. Is that you
[1:31:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: on What the hell? An author tries to reinvent himself on a college... Oh, yeah. That's me. That has to be me. I mean, obviously. See? Like, Max knows that, like, I'm I'm I'm the goon. Right? Like, that... If that... That's the definition of goon. It's just like, I'm trying to just, it's like, grow up, Peter Pan. But, no, I don't wanna grow up. I... Why? Why do I have to grow up? I don't wanna do that. That's ridiculous. Get married? Ew. Ew.
[1:31:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh my god. Now now now you just made it.
[1:31:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know how be...
[1:31:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know how beautiful it is to have someone love, support you, and threaten you all at the same time?
[1:31:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's gotta be a wild feeling. But, yeah, I'll just take rejection in the DMs as kind of my highlights for the for the day and for the week. Yep. And, by the way, on that note, I'm still waiting for a few picks. So what the f? I don't know what the hell you're doing. Wake
[1:32:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: up. Like, you ask her for pee pee pics one more time, she's about to punch you in your throat.
[1:32:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: She has a Glock in that picture. You know that? Like, she actually has a Glock. You don't see it. You don't actually see it in the... What's it called? But she's got a gun. Yeah. That's why. She's about to shoot you in your throat if you have to press. Please take one. What? Tell me you're from the streets, I'll tell her you're friends. She's gonna shoot you in the throat. What? My goodness. Fuck. Guys, check this out. We're gonna go out on a high note. I feel like that was the joke to go out on. Like, amazing. Like, 07:00, didn't even feel the clock passed by because probably I was cooking all episode. Maybe I live in my own little world. I don't know. Nobody was really laughing except Natalie, but
[1:32:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: You were cooking.
[1:32:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. You were cooking. Kinda gets paid. Yeah. She gets paid, but not paid to show up. You know what I mean? Like, she can't... Now she's just kinda tied to us, where it's just like, shit. If I don't show up, then it's like, my brain gets dragged through the mud. So... Yeah. But that's it. That's the show for the day. I'm gonna go out on the high note. Alright? We have one show left for the rest of the week, and that comes tomorrow. And we covered some great topics. And SBF, If you are listening, bro, sitting in your jail cell right now, but maybe you're in the grease trap, like, cool. No worries there. I appreciate the follow. And I act... You might get a notification from the front desk at central booking that you might have a visitor tomorrow. That's all I'm saying. Okay? Because I'm trying to get a pen pal out here. That's what I'm trying to do. DocNooNoo, where were you earlier? I could have used so many emojis, but they left me dying out here, literally dying.
[1:33:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: Imagine you go go in and visit him and he's like, I don't know you. I don't even have my ex account. That's not even my real account.
[1:33:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: That thought literally crossed my mind where... I mean, I mean, we really don't believe that it's SPF. Right? Like, that's a friend where it's just like, hey, man. But can you manage this for me, please? And just, like, cause some controversy that he's just like, you know, at the end of the day... Oh oh. Also, for those that didn't see also, Naeem made the cut in there too. Because me and Naeem, we just recently made up with, like, new, like, newly... Like, we're new lovebirds or whatever.
[1:34:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: You guys broke up?
[1:34:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We broke up.
[1:34:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: Guys broke up.
[1:34:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We broke up, but we're back together now. Like, we broke up. We're back together. No. Right? Like, it's one thing... Like, you know, people don't do this in Web three, but we like to pride ourselves as being grown ass adults. You know? So Do you need a Mori? No. We didn't need a Mori to essentially, like... This is... Oh, but maybe... Wait
[1:34:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: a minute. Wait. What happened? Now I'm confused.
[1:34:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. But we're not going down
[1:34:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: this route now.
[1:34:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: This was just a happy story.
[1:34:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. Did you guys play tic tac toe when you got upset because you lost? That's what happened?
[1:34:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tic tac toe? Really? Tic tac toe. She's 25,
[1:34:46] Kkoma @itskkoma: guys. Remember? Tic... 25.
[1:34:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, at least you didn't say... I mean, yeah, that's true. Tic tac toe is older than if you were said connect four. You made
[1:34:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: the cut for what, bro?
[1:34:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm saying you made the cut, bro, for follows. You didn't see the SBF followed me when I circled it... Like, the SBF followed me. You were in that circle. You know? So, you know, you you made it.
[1:35:06] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: How do you That is not a circle. That is not a circle because FYI.
[1:35:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: What... Yeah. How are you gonna shame me for that? I was asking... Geometry police over here. Oh, this is wild. Exactly. Like, in what world? Like, is this a normal thing?
[1:35:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Speaking of... Of... Go ahead.
[1:35:24] Voice G: Sorry, Lauren.
[1:35:25] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: No. I was just gonna say I was gonna ask if you guys know about Dave's grease trap antics. Like, he literally goes around grease traps and waits for people to talk about him and then pops up on stage.
[1:35:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: That
[1:35:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: is not true. I am I am in the grease trap because I'm convinced that the grease trap... That, like, web three is an entire psych experiment. And it's... If you sit in the grease trap long enough, it is fascinating, like, how Twitter spaces, like, unravel and unfold and the information dissemination that comes out of it, and you can see the rise and fall of somebody and then probably three times more than that. Like, I heard DocNooNoo crash out, climb the mountain, crash out again all on one space this morning, and it was nuts. Right? And I'm just like, this is fascinating to me. Right? She flooded me. She flooded Tater. Loved Tater. Then did it. And I was like, what? We... I didn't know what was happening, but, you know, I didn't hit... Like, you can't hit the request button, so you're forced to listen.
[1:36:18] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: In my defense, I was severely sleep deprived, but I ended on a high note. I I did defend you, go ghetto, on someone who was, like, trying to come for you.
[1:36:28] Voice J: That's fair.
[1:36:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: That is fair. That is fair. You did do that. So, yeah, we're gonna call out the... We're gonna give props where props are due, ladies and gents. Hopefully, you slept at least a couple hours.
[1:36:38] DocNooNoo @doc_noonoo: I literally just woke up at 10:30PM. Good.
[1:36:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: See? Not goon time. That's goon time. Exactly.
[1:36:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's it. I'm the only one that does not do the whole grease trap thing. Like, once I'm done with face... With spaces, I'm, like, so dumb because I'm in, like, a million of them per day. But I did wanna... Since we're gonna end the show, and we've both been cooking, I just wanted to ask if you guys have seen the show. I now I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry when they're about to get married, and there was this, like, Asian guy, and he was talking about love being a circle. And he's like, love. It's a circle. It's not triangle. I just... That's
[1:37:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: If that's not the way to end because before Coma be... Comes off mute, we are good because I know he's gonna try and sync that one, but it's true. I thought you were gonna go to me and Naeem or Chuck and Larry on that one. You know what mean?
[1:37:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: You got that circle so many times that my brain just went to that moon.
[1:37:30] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'm so tempted, Dave. I was so tempted. I just kept my mouth shut because I know you. It's it's seven.
[1:37:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's it. Past seven. I appreciate it. See, comma, like, give me that for, like, during the show, not, like, after, like, overtime. You know what I'm saying? Guys, love you. Appreciate it. We'll see y'all tomorrow, man. Have a good night, everybody. Peace.
