All Things Crypto: Stupid Kid Stories!!

AltcoinsBTCBlackRockCLARITY ActCommoditiesEquitiesFedGeopolitics

A Monday show (Dave, Nat Nat, Kool, Kkoma and others) that opens with the viral 12-ton KitKat heist and then covers the US Department of Labor's proposed rule to make it easier for 401(k) fiduciaries to add crypto and other alternatives (a proposal with a 60-day comment period, not final). The panel discusses BlackRock CIO Rick Rieder's rate-cut view, then oil: Nat Nat's target is $149-150 with a pullback first (a gap in the mid-70s on Brent), and she warns that oil consolidating near 150 raises recession odds; on Polymarket's 57% for crude at $130 by end of June she describes a short-term No trade. She also flags USD/JPY and Japan considering shorting oil futures to support the yen. With the fear and greed index at 8, Kool suggests small 'lottery' bets on Murad's meme-coin picks (the basket's combined market cap down to about $300M), Nat Nat says a meme-coin rotation is possible, and Avi warns most pumps never recover your entry. Kkoma covers prediction-market stories: a UFC announcer error that briefly flipped a Polymarket market, a $300-to-20K run, and a Polymarket staffer fired over VPN advice. Kantor says the Clarity Act would let real companies ship tokens. The second half becomes a 'stupid kid stories' segment (hood ornaments, kicking doors on Roosevelt Island, Garbage Pail Kids, Tamagotchis).

[0:00:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: All things crypto. All things crypto.
[0:00:15] Voice K: I'm 30 s c instead of a hour. Markets move fast. We're the ones in power. Mike left. Charles Lit. Dave set the page. Every take a gem. Every call a check. We don't follow trends. We... What create more men? Some from
[0:03:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: crypto. What up, everybody? Happy Monday. Hope you all are doing good. Hope everybody's weekend was good. Obviously, it's Monday, and the title of the show is all things crypto, but we here examine exactly the hardest hitting stories across all of crypto and what everybody... Natalie, think... And what everybody wants to know. And that is exactly how many KitKats were stolen over the weekend in transit from their factory in Central Italy on their way to Poland, we don't know. We don't know. But what we do know is exactly where the mind of crypto Twitter is right now. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is on KitKatz. 101,000,000 views on this post, and we will get to the bottom of where these KitKatz are and what's going on. And maybe we'll talk about some crypto stuff also. I don't know. Maybe about Bitcoin or whatever. But in the interim, Natalie, what's up?
[0:04:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: David, amazing story. I I mean, I couldn't wait to talk about this, and this story has been keeping me up at night. It's so important. I just can't. But I think it speaks to how hard times are that people are stealing KitKat. I just wanna say, like, give the KitKat a break this time. Right? Don't give us a break. Give the KitKat a break.
[0:04:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I actually got into a conversation in the comments with with Billy m two k. You know, the Doge founder? He wrote, give me a break. So I responded to his tweet, and I said, give me a break. And then he responded to my tweet and said
[0:04:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: Break me off.
[0:04:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Me off a piece of that.
[0:04:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: Because I kicked that butt. Oh my god. It's so good.
[0:04:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, you don't know where the next connection's gonna come from. You know what I'm saying? You gotta capitalize on the meta out here. You know what I mean? Anyways, cool. What... What's cooking, bro?
[0:05:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So... Hey. Sorry, guys. Yeah. Sorry I missed your show last week, man. Your kids kids are back to school, so it's it's... All these events they're doing, I'm busy busy with them. But, yeah, what's going on over guys? Happy Monday. Let's let's go. Let's do it. I'm ready. Now now what's up? How you guys doing? What's going on?
[0:05:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Cool. I love it. Yeah, man. I literally just looked at this today, I'm like, 101,000,000 views. I saw this the other day when it first came I'm like, still a thing? I'm like, KitKat's are... Like, I didn't even know they had social media presence. I mean, when you really think about it, it's like, wait. What? They actually post on, like, somewhat of, like, a regular basis. Right? Like, they, like, they posted during Ramadan. They posted, like, a crossword puzzle in March. And then there's this. Regarding recent press coverage, official statement, we can confirm that. Now, Natalie, I need... And, Cole, I need your take on this. It said 12 and then with the letter t. 12 t of KitKat products were stolen while in transit between our factory in Central Italy and their destination in Poland. We are working closely with local authorities and supply chain partners to investigate. The good news, there are no concerns for consumer safety and supply is not affected. Thank you. Do we think 12 t means 12 tons? Does it mean 12,000,000,000,000 KitKats?
[0:06:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: I pray I pray it means 12 tons and not 12,000,000,000,000, but I did the math. Right? So this, it's approximately over a 100,000. So someone is in the... Imagine if if this is someone from The Bronx. You know when you get in... When you go to The Bronx, you get into the train, and you see that some... Somebody just selling a whole bunch of candy. Let me find out they stole this and want to sell it for, like... One Kit Kat is is $5. Let me... They're trying to flip it and send it for, like, $7. I would... That wouldn't surprise me at all. But the whole... The 12 ton, it's worth over 100,000.
[0:07:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: There's gonna be kids everywhere on the subway being like, hey, man. You wanna buy Kit Kat? Support the local basketball... Former basketball team. It's like, bro, you guys aren't on a basketball team, bro. You're literally like... You know, like, the the fat young kids used to come over and say, bro, you don't play basketball. Stop it. That's not true. You're just trying to make money, bro. You stole these KitKat's. Get out
[0:07:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: of here.
[0:07:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tell them, Bubba. Bubba agrees. Bubba agrees. Yeah. Bubba Bubba feels it too. Anyways... But what's good, guys? I hope everybody's doing well. I feel like that was, like... I mean, when I read this, I was like, this is... But, Matt, a 101,000,000 views. A 101,000,000. Just to show you, their average tweak, it's about, like, a 100,000, 150,000. You know what I'm saying?
[0:07:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: Bear market wise. Bear market wise. It
[0:07:47] Kool @koolcryptovc: it has this... How many views because of... It's a very odd story. I've never... In my history of existence, I've never heard this kind of story before, so it's very odd, man. That's that's why it it... That tweet did that well because you... Who steal that much kick out? It makes no sense. It was it was money now. Yeah. But why would you still... I don't know. Right?
[0:08:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: They're trying
[0:08:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: to It's very confusing. Very confusing. No. I mean, it... It's pretty confusing. Yeah.
[0:08:11] NatNat @Natnatx007: When I first came across the story, didn't know... Didn't even know if it was real. So I kinda just crawled past it until they put out an official statement. I'm like, oh my god. It's actually real. Somebody actually did do that. Twenty twenty six bear market vibes, 100% confirmed.
[0:08:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: If this is not bear market vibes, I don't know what is a Kit Kat story that 12 tons of Kit Kat were sold. But, like, who are the thieves? You know? Like, would would they just kinda, like, sitting around being like, hey. Listen. I got this idea. This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna steal not... I mean, 12 tons, that's multiple trucks. Right? Like, that's not... You can't put 12 tons of chocolate on a truck. That means people had to sit around and say, you know what? We're gonna plot that, like, steal this. If those thieves are not the one, like, that are the most probably high or smoking the best weed in all of Europe, I don't know who is because it has to be those guys. They're like, dude, we're gonna steal 12 tons of KitKats. And his friends are looking at him going, yeah. Yeah. Let's do that shit.
[0:09:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: Because I have an... A theory. Hear me out. What if it wasn't even stolen? The drivers just got frustrated and just left the truck somewhere abandoned, and they can't remember where they put it at.
[0:09:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: If this is like a mob... If if this cat heist was a mob hit where it's like, listen. I'm a give you this envelope, they tell the driver just leave the fucking trucks over here, and we're gonna take the we're gonna take it from there. That would be amazing.
[0:09:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: But I hope Netflix is somewhere recording this.
[0:09:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: The great Kit Kat heist of 2026. You guys don't know. You guys genuinely have no idea. Shout out to Atari god in the building. Atari, what's good, boy? It's good to see you. Alright. Let's get to some real stories. I don't know. I'll change the title in a second. I just thought that was absolutely hysterical. Okay. So I think, like, the biggest story that I saw come across the wire just an hour ago, US Department of Labor proposes rule to open $10,000,000,000,000.04 $0.01 k retirement plans to crypto and alternative investments. This is monster. Monster, monster, monster. I can now... Right? Department of Labor now opens this up. Now I gotta expand on the story. Right? So you guys... You gotta give me a little bit to do a little more homework on this. But the Department of Labor is now saying that, hey. If you want to invest or you want to add crypto, right, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the likes, you now have the ability to add that into your four zero one k retirement plan. Now how exactly? I don't know. I need to do a little bit more digging because I don't wanna give people the wrong information. But this is... I mean, Bitcoin now indirectly, like, in your retirement account. I know you could do this prior. Right? You just have to call up Fidelity or Schwab or whoever and just be like, look. I wanna, you know, I wanna own part of this. Right? But you had to jump through a ton of, like, different hoops, and it was kinda crazy. I don't know if you had to be, like, accredited investor or whatever the case was, but now, like, this is a ginormous, ginormous market. Imagine if literally every retirement account or every fund manager now says, we're gonna diversify. We're gonna put, like, I don't even know, like, 1% or point 1%, right, like, of each person's portfolio into the... Into Bitcoin. Like, you know what that does to Bitcoin? That could be freaking insane. Cool, Nat? Like, Nat, let me start with you. What do you think? What do make of this?
[0:11:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: I actually think this is great. I I believe we saw something like this not too long ago. I'm actually reading... While you were talking, I I came across this article from thestreet.com, and they're saying that the labor department unveiled... It's a sixty day period for adding crypto to four zero one k. The White House clears proposal review as federal policy shift towards alternative assets. So it is just a sixty day window, but I think this is a great start. This proposal is now expected to be published for a standard of sixty day public comment period after which revisions may be made before a final rule is issued. Oh, so it's not final yet.
[0:12:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. They always put these out. Right? Like, they propose. Right? So they propose a rule to open this up. Right? So it's gonna be like, hey. Like, we wanna put this now. It obviously has to go through all, like, the song and dance of congress. But, I mean, this is... I don't know. I mean, do you see this as a... Okay. Here. Hold on. That would make it easier for four zero one k fiduciaries to include alternative investments and retirement plans, including crypto, private equity, private credit, real estate, commodities. The Department of Labor says the point is to reduce regulatory friction and lower litigation risk for fiduciaries that follow a prudent process. This does not mean that every American can suddenly ape Bitcoin inside their four zero one k tomorrow. It's a proposed rule, not a final one yet, and it does not require employers or plan managers to add crypto. What it does create is a clearer framework and a safe harbor style process for fiduciaries considering these investments. It's now sixty day public comment period for any final version to be adopted. I mean, this is ginormous because they have such a huge, like, pool of capital. Yeah. Cool. What do you think?
[0:13:28] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I mean, this is nothing this is nothing new, though. We've been we've been talking about this for, like, almost a year now, man. I remember about a year ago in this space. This has been floated for a long time. Some companies already off... Offer crypto and $40.01 k. It's not that many. But this this is good. I mean, like I said, I just... I would I would like I would like to celebrate, but it's just... I wanted to be law, to be active. Right? Because there's there's been too much talk about this for a long time, and I'm hoping eventually this goes into law and, you know, these companies allow people to to book within... Into four zero one k. So... No. It's good. Of course, it's good. I just solid. And, of course, it's a process. Everything in government does is slow, so it does take time. I think there's gonna be a day when all these things will be will be just, you know, normal. Is it... Will be normal to have, you know, crypto and four zero one k? It'd be normal for every... Everyone at work or on the street to know to know what crypto is and, you know, invest in it because a lot of people still don't know about crypto. Maybe... The funny thing is even stocks. Even with stocks, a lot of people don't know all stocks either, which is crazy. So crypto has a long, long way to go, but this is a good start, though. It's a good start.
[0:14:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Agreed. Go ahead, Nat.
[0:14:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So the article proceeds to say that this is following Donald Trump executive order from 08/07/2025, and this is just the first stop. They want the, the labor department to reconsider also restrictions on private equity and real estate. So I I think that the labor department is getting ready to make some moves across the board here.
[0:15:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It's gonna be interesting to watch this whole shit unfold, but I like it. Right? Like, Trump is still pushing ahead with all of this. Right? Like, crypto is the narrative. He's not wavering there. He's still moving forward with it, and it's like nothing is actually gonna stop. He's like, we will be the blockchain and crypto capital of the world, and this is showing it, man. This is show... Like, if this doesn't show you, like, the belief, right, at least, like, saying, like, look to all his department heads, We need to start really adopting this and and like... Because, I mean, next up is obviously gonna be... You know, I I saw something about Cynthia Lumis today, also in another senator. I forgot who it was, but they're now moving forward, obviously, like, with with obviously wanting to start this whole Bitcoin reserve thing. So there's so much that's cooking out here right now. But, yeah, it... I I don't know. It's a it's a ginormous, ginormous market when you look at, like, I mean, $10,000,000,000,000, the $40.01 k. Every fucking... You know, every working American pretty much has a four zero one k, a sponsored four zero one k plan, Roth IRAs, excuse me, all this other stuff. So, gonna be really, really interesting to see how this whole thing, how this whole thing shakes out. Right. What else? BlackRock CIO, Rick Ryder, says he thinks the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates. Natalie, talked about this last week, and we said interest rate cuts. Nah. Not until... What do we... What'd they say? November or December. But if the BlackRock chief investment officer is saying he thinks the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates, I kinda tend... I mean, we probably listen. No?
[0:16:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I mean, we... We're... I think we're gonna see how it all plays out because I think though though... With everything that's going on right now with the geopolitical landscape and even within the macro economy, I think they're gonna want to take their time in making these decisions versus just rushing to it. Right? So I I guess we'll see we'll see how it plays out. I mean, either way, we cut within the next few months or we wait until December, I think if you're positioned correctly, I think it it it wouldn't affect us too much.
[0:17:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Cool. Let's see. BlackRock CIO says federal reserves cut interest rates. Don't know.
[0:17:15] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I I don't... No. I'm... It's my honest issue. I have no idea anymore, man. Like, you know, I think until... We... We've been here before where, you know, Ukraine and Russia, they had the war that happened. It... You know, we thought it's gonna be last for a couple of weeks. It's been, like, I think, what, three years now or four years since then. I mean, eventually, things things do recover. Right? I... To be honest with you, I don't even know, bro. Honestly, because I've heard, you know, people from the administration say, oh, you know, we're gonna hold off. I've heard, you know, we're gonna cut rates. I've heard we we we... We're gonna raise rates. I've heard all three. So to be honest with you, I don't know. I mean, I think the war with Iran does determine... Actually, Iran holds the cards. Iran holds the cards. When they decide to to finally, you know, end this, then they end it because US doesn't hold the cards. I mean, I don't watch the news. I'm on Twitter. I've been listening to these spaces on both sides from from the past thirty days now for the war. Iran is winning. I know I know people might might not wanna hear this, but they have the cards. And until they decide this stuff ends, the the the market is frozen. I mean, we're not gonna know where we're gonna go. So we don't know, Bobby. It's so strange, man. The market is very weird, and this conflict or this war makes things even harder to to to know where we're gonna go because all prices are down one day, then they'll go up, then they go down. Then the war... And it wasn't the end. It doesn't end. So it's it's weird. And and I think what's what's making it worse is Trump with his tweets. Those tweets, I don't know. I mean, eventually, they're they're probably gonna lose lose power because he was pumping and dumping the the stock market and oil markets the past two weeks now. And I don't think these streets work again in next couple of weeks because... I don't know, man. I mean, if Iran decides that, hey. We we... We're gonna we're gonna make the West and US software for the next six, seven months, we're looking at oil prices going above $1.50 or more. And we'll see. And, also, the war, the invasion, the way they're talking about ground troops go... Trying to invade Iran. I don't know if if it's just... If it's all talk. We'll see. So I I don't know, bro, if they're gonna raise raise the cut rates. I don't know. But what what I do know is things are about to get crazy and really, really bad if this war doesn't end anytime soon. And so my my thought is I have no idea, bro. It just... The the the war is is gonna determine if we're gonna cut rates or keep it still or raise rates, but things are not looking good, though, if if this stuff keeps getting worse.
[0:20:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: I saw that the treasury secretary today commented that The US is gonna take control of the Strait Of Hormuz, which I thought was an interesting thing for Scott Besson to be the one to actually say that.
[0:20:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: Kinda weird. No? So so they they they they speak like this to to project power. They don't have the cards, bro. I mean, I I... Look. It's very simple. I was... You guys know I was I was navy. Right? Navy. Eight years. I'm obsessed with this kind of stuff. I've been following this stuff for the past... You know, from day one. The only way for America to win this is to be willing to sacrifice over a 100,000 soldiers, man. That's the only way. You you cannot... You... We... I'll say we. Okay. The US invaded or the war with Iraq. I think they committed between 300,000 to 500,000 troops in Iraq. And look at look at look at what it took. Iran is massive with a horrible terrain. You you... It's not the same. So the only way for them to take the straight on moose is to be willing to sacrifice soldiers, which I don't know if they are. I don't know. But that's the only way, bro. That's the only way we're talking about 50, 80,000 soldiers dead. That's the only way. You... Because you're you're... I mean, that's only way. That's the only way. I I I don't know. I've been following this stuff for a long time, and unfortunately, that's probably the only way for a massive ground invasion committing hundreds of thousand soldiers to Iran, bro, and lasting years. That's the only way you you you could take back Hamus. So we'll see.
[0:21:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now what do you think? You think this is, like... I mean, they're talking about oil going a 130, 140. I know Landy said people were crazy for 200, but, I mean, they're starting to get up there. No?
[0:21:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: My target on oil is $1.49, $1.50. So it's not it's not, yeah. It's not out of the... Out of pocket if it ends up going a little higher. Right? I do think it is going to pull back first. So same as silver, that pull back before the next leg up, I think oil is gonna do the same thing, pull back before the leg up. I can see... There's a gap in the high... In the mid seventies on oil on, Brent. I can see an aggressive pullback once things settle down a little bit, but then they we... They heat up again and they intensify again, and then that would shoot oil higher. That's... You know what? That's what the chart is. It... It's the same. Right? Especially on UWETZO, there is a big area of one forty nine, one fifty as well. Same on... Across the board. Right? So that's why I'm looking at that area specific. I don't... Some people are saying it's gonna hit... Oil's gonna hit almost a thousand dollars. I don't see oil hitting almost a thousand dollars. But I think even at $1.49, $1.50, a tad higher, and I begin to, like, question question whether or not the economy is gonna sustain such a high oil price without something completely breaking below. That
[0:23:05] Kool @koolcryptovc: that that that I... I'm I'm listening to some people from Kuwait that actually work for the government in Kuwait and couple other countries in GGC. And what they're saying is the global economy collapses if you have oil above a 100 for a couple of weeks. Yeah. I'm talking about, like, weeks or months. Yep. As a matter of fact, some some countries already already are in lockdown, man. Like, Australia, I think So like all the Asian countries are in lockdown right now. Like, COVID. Like, yeah, they're having COVID start lockdown because there's no fuel, man. So if... And that's why I keep saying, like, I have no idea, bro. Right? I think that straight of a moose has to open. If it doesn't open, bro, we're in big trouble, man, including The US too.
[0:23:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: We... There's a... If if we do hit that one fifty and stay around that range, right, so above 100, there's trouble. Right? But if we hit one fifty and we stay there and we start consolidating there, the chances of a deep recession becomes greater.
[0:24:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: We talked about this last week too. Right? They said chances of a recession. Although last week, the discussion was chances of a recession on Polymarket dropped, right, like, to 36% by the end of the year. So it's like it's so up and down, but, like, I don't know. But then you have Jerome Powell.
[0:24:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. It did. Let me let me let me let me give you a real life example. Just like you said about how... You know, the... You know, what's funny is a lot... I I love listening to the spaces of people that live overseas, and they're giving you a view of their their country and their region. And what they're saying is things are already broken already. At this at this time... If if they open a street on... Over most today, it would take the global economy to to to recover. It'll probably take about six to eight months to a year to recover if it opens today. If there's a grand invasion, that's gonna probably even delay the opening of of a moose even longer. Right? Like, things are already broken already. Okay? I'll give you a a real example. So we we bought a plane ticket, right, to go on vacation. We bought it, like, couple months ago. Me, my wife, and the kids. Right? We bought this stuff. And after the... All this drama happened, this this plane ticket has tripled in price, bro. Tripled. We... I mean, my my my wife's family, their their their their plane ticket was, like, I think, like, 5 k or something for, like, her her and the kids and, like, I think, and wife and three kids. This plane ticket now plus hotels, like, $15.16 k now. This is just this is just since since the war, bro. What what do what do you think happens if this stuff maintains for the next six to eight months? And that's the reason why I I I just don't believe this war continues. I I... It doesn't make any sense because this affects countries around the globe, bro. And I I I just don't see it have... Outlasting that long. So it's difficult to say if they cut rates or raise rates, but at this point, I am hoping this stuff ends because I see those videos online, man. People actually... They they they locked up. I mean, crazy locked down right now. They just stay, work from home, don't drive. There's no fuel, man. There's no fuel. Like, there's really no fuel. And I think US is gonna probably feel the pain eventually with the cost of x, cost of, you know, travel and vacation. Summer is around the corner. July is here. That's the most busy time of the year, man. So we're talking about a lot of people that can't really afford to travel. They're not gonna spend money, man, which will hurt... Will hurt the the the the growth of of of of the GDP. So I I am I am hoping this stuff ends, bro, because a a lot of real pain is probably gonna happen to a lot of real people. And that also hurts our best because the... No... Nobody's buying... There's no old season. All season is done if we don't have... If if people can buy gas in their cars, man. Like, you can buy gas in your car. You you... You're not buying no no meme coins right now. No. So I'm hoping this stuff gets settled soon because this this last suffering, of course, that's that's what I hate. But, bro, I just hope this stuff ends, bro. I really do.
[0:27:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'm with you. Cool. So for the degens that are here, I I need to ask the two of you. With poly market odds at 57%, Natalie, I start with you, of, crude hitting a $130 per barrel by the end of June, are we buying the yes, or are we buying the new?
[0:27:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: Before the end of June.
[0:27:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: By the end of June.
[0:27:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: By the end of June.
[0:27:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: $130 a barrel. It's a one... What's the what's the oil today? $105 or something like that?
[0:27:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: It it it hit $1.20 or $1.18. Brent hit $1.18, I think, or $1.50. Something like that. It it it went up there.
[0:28:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: You say? What's the percentage on yes right now?
[0:28:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: 57%.
[0:28:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: K. Well, there's an there's an opportunity there. You can hit no and then have that increase when, oil pulls back and then just take profit.
[0:28:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Interesting. So not the long term game. You're saying just like, you're... You you love the short term pain. Well, most of us can't deal with that. We're too emotional. Okay? I'm a man. I'm emotional. Alright. Leave me alone.
[0:28:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, wow. That's the first time I've ever heard they say, you're man. You're emotional.
[0:28:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. You're man. You're emotional. Cool. 57% chance that crude oil hits 130 a barrel by the end of June. We're going yes or no?
[0:28:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's very it's very possible, bro. Very, possible, man. I I think I think Iran really has the guard. If they if they decide to to... Because they they can't really fight The US head to head, but what they could do is inflict insane pain on the West, on America. So I... It's very possible. Will be... Because... Just because of the the... They they... They've acquired a lot of losses, man. You guys heard about the bombing, about the kids. They blew blew up a school with a 160 kids, whatever. And those kids, I think the... They're they're kids of military men or whatever. So I think Iran wants to inflict pain on The US. It's very possible, though, that we we we do hit one thirty by June, for sure.
[0:29:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, when I look at the other signs... And I know this is all things crypto, but, like, obviously, oil is a big factor in in just financial markets across the world
[0:29:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: and
[0:29:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: has an echoing effect across all markets, including crypto. Saudi Arabia said their East West oil pipeline is bypassing the Strait Of Hormuz, but... And now they're pumping at full capacity of 7,000,000 barrels a day. I don't know if that's BS or what, but, like, I mean, is that real? Is that cool? I mean
[0:30:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. And if if if... I'm not saying it's real or nothing. If if it was go... Gonna make a big impact, the price of oil would have gone down already. The the price of oil have gone down, and we we... We're back on, like, 80 right now. Yeah.
[0:30:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: And none of these things are impacting the
[0:30:19] Kool @koolcryptovc: price. Not. It's agreed. Ex ex... Exactly. And that's why, man. This country is like... I... What's crazy is, like, I love when I learned something new. I had no idea. I knew oil was important, but not like this, man. I'm I'm hearing that. It's it's it's affecting even AI. It's affecting, you know, companies raising money in Dubai. Dubai is shut down right now, bro. Like like, a lot of people are... Have left Dubai, like... You know, because people are afraid to get blown up. Plus, it's it's just so strange. I didn't realize oil was this important, you know, globally, but it is because it drives everything. Every single thing. Every part part parts of our life, man. So I I I I don't think it is, though. I don't think they pump enough. I don't think so. But if they did, price of oil be going down right now is not going down. The straight straight of our moose is the choke point of the entire global market and especially Asia. Asia is getting... Asia and Europe is... And it's so nuts also because now what they they they... This is how this is how you know things are going bad for The US because you're fighting Iran. You lifted the the the the the sanctions on on on Iranian oil, which gives them more power. You also lifted sanctions on Russian oil? What? And you're back in Ukraine. Like, bro, I don't even know. My brain is exploding. Oil
[0:31:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: is still above a 100.
[0:31:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. Exactly my point. So it's interesting. Like, I'll listen to some some official from Kuwait, and what he was saying was he believes oil prices should be a lot higher that US government has... They've been trying to figure out a way to to bring oil prices down through some kind of skimming manipulation or something, but that street of our moose needs to be open. And if it doesn't open, a lot of us, a a lot of jobs... Guys, we're talking about global recession. It's gonna be bad. A lot a lot of job loss, a lot of assets being sold, and crypto, we're just gonna go sideways for a long time or down, even lower. Bitcoin possibly 50 k, 40 something k possibly, which is a good thing, man.
[0:32:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: 35 k or 25
[0:32:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: k. It's it's it's possible, man. I mean, I... The the the... I I thought maybe the bottom of Bitcoin will be maybe about... Maybe mid fifties, high fifties because of all this stuff going on right now. If we do have a ground invasion, bro, yeah, man. We... We're probably gonna go down a lot lower, man, for sure.
[0:33:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. The tail is now... Yeah. Go ahead, Nat.
[0:33:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: One very interesting point. Right? And and I don't know if you touched on this on this space, but on on previous spaces, I've been looking at USDJPY. Right? US USD and the the Japanese yen. So the yen is on... Is completely on the floor. Right? The... Because of the way oil is moving and the strength in oil, it also is to strengthen The US Dollar. Right? So what the prime minister came out and said last week was they are looking into different things to help strengthen the yen, and one of them in particular was shorting oil futures. Right? So they do probably foresee some kind of a pullback. Right? Whether they're going to do it or not, that remains to be seen. Right? They can go a bunch of different ways with it, but the fact that they're considering it, that that that tells us something. Right? I think something's gonna happen that's gonna give us a pullback before the next leg hire. And I think that is gonna make things a lot more interesting. Right? And I think if it goes even higher than I'm expecting it to go, we need to be ready for for whichever way the cookie crumbles, so to speak.
[0:34:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And now maybe to tail this in and, I'll cover this and, then I'll say what's up to coma. But, crypto fear and greed index is literally at eight. Eight. K? Fifty nine consecutive days has been an extreme fear. Like, how much lower is it gonna go? I think we saw it.
[0:34:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: I mean, could go to zero. No?
[0:34:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, technically, yes. Right? Like, yeah. But, I mean, like, what does that translate to, I guess, in terms of, like, crypto dollars? Like, altcoins are literally, like... They said 40% of altcoins are down. What was the stat? Hold on. I'm gonna I'm gonna pull up the stat real quick because I had it here. The... Something like 40% of altcoins are down, like, ridiculous, ridiculous amount, like, off of their highs just compared to, like, last bear market, which is kind of freaking nuts. I mean, I don't know who's buying Altcoins in this very moment if I'm being very, very honest. Here. Hold on. Altcoins. Here. Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Saudi Arabia. No. Where is it? Nope. I don't have it. Don't know where it was. Okay. I'll I'll find this out a little bit later. But extreme fear. Fear and greed index. Cool. What altcoins are you buying right now, if any? Bro, just
[0:35:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: just tell, man. Tell tell... And I think tell...
[0:35:38] Kkoma @itskkoma: Sorry. Think I got little long going off.
[0:35:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Tell... I think... Can can you hear me? Can you hear me?
[0:35:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: We got you, bro.
[0:35:45] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: Absolutely. Let me just... The lines down. So...
[0:35:48] Kool @koolcryptovc: One
[0:35:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: sec. Systems disarmed.
[0:35:51] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So Tao... Probably... So eat... Same same old method. Nothing nothing too risky, but what was crazy is I was actually thinking about thinking about probably buys from MemeCoins, man. Like, remember remember remember the MemeCoin Jesus?
[0:36:10] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. That dude. So I I was thinking about looking at his portfolio because, you know, he he round trip. He he made, like, $90,000,000 or something, $9,080,000,000 at the top. He never sold. His portfolio is now worth, like, 9,000,000 now or 8,000,000. So he's he's backed those GigaChad and WIP and those those whatever. Those new coins. I'm I'm thinking about this, like, you know, just putting, let me, $50.56 of $60 each of them. I'll just leave you alone. But the last time this happened this happened with... What's that what's that protocol? I forgot the name of it. It was the meme coin on Solana. Somebody put, like, $300 in it, left it alone, came back eight months later, and they made, like, 500 grams or something like that. So I think it's it's... Yeah, man. You're all sure. So it might be a good idea. I know mucus is down. Everything is dead. Yes. Yes. True. Very true. At the same time, there's gonna be a day when these things do wake up again. So I I do advise people to... I mean, if you have a little bit of money, you're willing to lose couple $100 here and there, go a long way, man. So what I'm thinking about doing is looking for Murad Murad, as in Murad, m u r a d. Murad's portfolio. I just put in, I think, like, $50 in each of them. I just leave it alone for maybe a year, maybe eight months. We'll see. But it's very possible when those vehicles wake up again, and you... Next thing you know, you have a couple 100 k in your account from buying now. Yeah.
[0:37:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Disagree with that, actually. I think that's that's not a bad idea because we know how the market rotates. Right? And especially if we're going to enter into a big bear market or go down more than than others expect, you'd be surprised at things that pop up. Right? I wouldn't I wouldn't rule out a run on the meme coin... Meme coins again.
[0:38:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Okay. For Natalie to say meme coin. Oh my god. Guys, we're... We are in unprecedented times, ladies and gentlemen.
[0:38:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: Bear market
[0:38:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: vibes. Bear market vibes
[0:38:18] Kool @koolcryptovc: is Oh, yeah. Yeah. And if you... It's... I have the list here, by the way. If you wanna find it, this is crazy. Wow. So if you go if you go to CoinGecko, just type in Murad, m u r a d. It's called Murad Picks. They are one, two, three, 4, 5, six, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. They're 11 meme coins. He he has a a a a whole section dedicated to him. It's crazy. So they call Murad Picks. The first first one is s p s p x. SPX, I think, 5,000, whatever it is.
[0:38:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: There's 6,900.
[0:38:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yes. 6,900. Yes. We only... SPX, MOG, PopCap, Gigachad, Bitcoin, Sonic Inu, APU USA, Retardio, Rocklin, Mini, and Skibidi. What's crazy is these... This entire, portfolio, was worth, I think, $15,000,000,000 back then. At the top right now, it's worth 300,000,000 combined. I'm a say it again. It's worth 300,000,000 combined. It was worth probably 15,000,000,000 altogether. Just like
[0:39:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, meaning The market caps the market caps of each one of those combined, not Murad's position. No. No. Just the market cap.
[0:39:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: The market the market cap of this entire entire morale of yeah. Combined is 300. So to me, the upside is disgustingly insane to me because it it would take you a lot to put a $50.50 bucks in shit and just leave it alone. But they're one, two, what... How many
[0:39:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's some serious alpha. Cool cool. It's spinning over here. Oh my god.
[0:39:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. Yeah. Because because I... I've I've seen this before, man. I I remember this stuff. This happens all the time. Right? You you you you would think a project is dead. Like, look at this. A mall. More's market cap is 55,000,000. That is madness. This thing this thing is listed.
[0:40:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let me see something. One second. Let me just check something. I'm just looking
[0:40:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: at, like, where... Where's the listing listed at?
[0:40:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just FYI, while he's looking at that, 90... That's 98 Percent down on the portfolio. He's just... Yeah.
[0:40:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. It's... They they they listed on almost every exchange, man. Like, it's it's insane. Yeah. So so... Yeah, man. So I... It's it's our part. You you could... If you wanna take a risk, you know, very small risk, it doesn't cost you anything, probably $510, just buy it and just forget about it. Come back come back later because eventually, these projects eventually will probably pop off because you look at the volume on them. You look at the volume of them. They're not bad, but they listed on a lot of big exchanges, man. It's just... It's it's bad. They did it down bad, so it might be a play.
[0:40:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. Crazy. Crazy. We're buying meme coins? Goddamn. Let's go. That's what I'm talking about. Let's make some millions out of here, people. It's about time we start talking about MemeCoin. Let's fucking go, cool.
[0:41:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sorry about that. I'll just wait for Dave to buy and then airdrop me.
[0:41:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. Exactly. Let's go. Avi, hold on one second. Let me see what's up to Coma real quick. Guys, Coma is taking an official break or so he says, but I don't believe him, from prediction markets. He does this all the time. He's like, I'm taking a break now, guys. I've been going too hard. Blah blah blah. But I bet you if you ask me if you made a prediction today, guarantee there was one.
[0:41:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: 20 times the charm, I guess, Coma.
[0:41:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Come on. What's up?
[0:41:33] Kkoma @itskkoma: Is it a break if you, like, put a prediction on something that already happened and then you you make, like, the the residuals?
[0:41:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: When did you make that prediction?
[0:41:45] Kkoma @itskkoma: Today?
[0:41:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. No, bro. No.
[0:41:48] Kkoma @itskkoma: But it wasn't like it wasn't like one of those things where I don't know if this is gonna happen or just... It already happened. So, like, how how can I say no to to free money? You know? That's that's the problem. Is it a prediction, or is it just already happened? You know?
[0:42:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, you know.
[0:42:02] Kkoma @itskkoma: Granted, it was, like, like, $18, but still, like, better than having to write, like, a tunnel post, which I don't care about. So, you know, like, low key.
[0:42:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. No. This is for myself. This is for myself. So... No. Overall, everything's been good. I don't know if, like, I don't know if you're in... Yeah. You are in the group chat, you just don't pay attention. But I I I don't know if you saw Bumblebee, but that dude was down 6.5 k. And then he put... He had $300 and a dream this past weekend. And somehow he was able to turn that $300 into, like, a 20 k profit. Like, literally, the dude has, like, excuse my language, like balls of steel. Like like, this guy was, like, doubling down on every win that he was do... So, basically, everything he won, he kept just, like, doubling and doubling and doubling it. So... Or not doubling it, but he just he just kept going all in on whatever his winnings were. So he went from, like, 300 to, like, 2.5 k and then 2.5 k to, like, 16 some... Six k and then 16 k and then 19 k. I think he'd dropped down a little bit, but he's like... Yeah. It was like what... It was like one of those generational runs that should never happen, but it worked out nicely for him. And then I don't know if you saw, but, again, this is kinda related to crypto, but not really. But predictions market, like, a UFC fighter, like, the the announcer Bruce Buffer, he accidentally announced the wrong winner. So, basically, some guy put a $100,000 on the accidental winner at 99¢.
[0:43:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: Accidentally my foot? He knew exactly.
[0:43:39] Kkoma @itskkoma: Oh, no. No. No. No. No. Oh, sorry. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. He intentionally did it thinking that he was gonna make that 1¢ profit. So he put a 100 k in and then lost a 100 k. The counter trade was peep... Some people put $600 or $500 and made 60 to 50 k or 50 to 60 k.
[0:43:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. It resolved because the... But didn't Bruce Buffer come back and, like, fix it?
[0:44:01] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yep. During... In between there... So when they announced the first person who was not the actual winner, Polymarket switched 99¢ to that to the to the wrong winner. Oh. They brought... While they were bringing him back, some... I guess some some people were smart enough to be like, wait. Something's wrong. So they put they put the, like, their $500 into the... At at a penny, basically. And then Wow. They made 50 k... 50 to 6 k from that. So that's Oh, so
[0:44:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: the market didn't resolve. It just shipped... Like, shifted like crazy. Yep. And then
[0:44:36] Kkoma @itskkoma: Because because remember how, like, Brad was saying, like, certain certain markets, it takes a couple, like, hours for it to fully resolve.
[0:44:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah.
[0:44:42] Kkoma @itskkoma: Like, may be in, ninety nine point nine nine nine or whatever, but it doesn't technically resolve yet. Right? So
[0:44:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god.
[0:44:49] Kkoma @itskkoma: So some guy lost a $100. Another guy made $60.70 k off of $500.
[0:44:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. All because Bruce Buffer had a fucking couple drinks before he went into the fucking octagon. Sorry. Before he went into the octagon.
[0:45:05] Kkoma @itskkoma: Never happens. I've watched UFC for over ten years. This has never really happened.
[0:45:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: I've never heard that happen either. Polymorph. Yep. Yep.
[0:45:12] Kkoma @itskkoma: And then, yeah, there were just some smart people out there that, you know, just took a gamble on the 1¢ and then, yeah, that made some good generational money off of that. So, you know, like, there... And then, again, I I know you... Maybe you're watching March Madness, but Connecticut was at, like, 9¢ to win and then... Or, like, 10¢ to win. And then they they stole the ball at the end and then scored a three pointer. And then that one is a little more normal, but, yeah, the UFC one was kinda crazy.
[0:45:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's So, yeah, predictions market has
[0:45:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: been kinda kinda wild. Yeah.
[0:45:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Guys, maybe we need to really start digging into prediction markets, man. I don't know what the hell. Come on. You got patience of a saint. You... I don't know what the hell you do. Do you work from home, Coma, like, for your fang... Like, your fancy fang job, or do you go into the office?
[0:45:57] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. I just hide somewhere to talk to you, basically. Just don't tell my boss. Yeah.
[0:46:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, that's fair. Alright. That's cool. Nice. You guys... You... Hey. But you probably have, like, a whole campus. You know what I'm saying? Like, with your fancy ass shit. You have old campus. You get breakfast, and you're dry cleaning and shit. Right? Come on. Tell the truth. No.
[0:46:13] Kkoma @itskkoma: I don't. I don't. I don't. Yeah. I I don't live in the sunny side. Yeah. Yeah. I don't live where where, you know, it's it's always sunny and... Or it's always beautiful. What what does he say? I can't I can't remember.
[0:46:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like In the bay.
[0:46:28] Kkoma @itskkoma: In the bay. Yeah. It's always sunny. I don't live in the bay, so I don't get that perks. But... Yeah. No. Overall, everything's been good. And then I guess the last thing is some person got fired from Polymarket because he recommended people to use VPN. So
[0:46:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Really?
[0:46:46] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Why
[0:46:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: why would that be such a bad thing? Because VPN is not illegal.
[0:46:52] Kkoma @itskkoma: No. But, like, if you're... Legally, you're not allowed to be using Polymarket. Right? And then if someone on the official team is telling you to use VPN to access their platform, it's probably not a good look. And and, actually, I think Polymarket actually paid a huge fine for, like, US
[0:47:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. Do... Komet, do we have any indication of when Polymarket... When Poly token?
[0:47:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: Well, I don't know. After this, you know, maybe Polymarket might start doing some geo blocking kinda stuff. So all this farming that people are doing might be a waste. We'll see.
[0:47:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Damn. Interesting. Okay. Good shit. Thanks, Koma. Yep.
[0:47:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yep. That was that
[0:47:30] Kkoma @itskkoma: was my Polymarket news of the day.
[0:47:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: Love it, bro. I love it. Hey, man. Listen. We gotta be well rounded out here. So we talked about meme coins, oil, Iran. We're gonna talk about Bitcoin in a second. Hedera's here now. So, you know, you guys get a well rounded freaking education out here. So I love it, Koma. Thank you. Avi, what's up, bro? What's good?
[0:47:50] Voice I: Very good. I want to save my experience with doing exactly what Cole said to do with MemeCoins. A few months back, I took, like, you know, a few few meme coins you would think that will pump if a bull market comes for a few dollars in each, and then everything basically goes to nothing. So if you just have to... Only if you know that the market is gonna pump soon, really, then you should do that because, otherwise, a pump would hardly even go back to your... Where you actually bought in. Like, the... A 99% down, even if it goes up 10 x, it's not necessarily where you bought in. You know?
[0:48:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Interesting. Yeah. That's true. That's true. Very true. Do we think meme coins are gonna come back, though, guys? Like, really? Like, what's gonna bring, I mean, money... I mean, lots of money, but, like, do we really think meme coins have a shot at coming back?
[0:48:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: I do. Yeah. I do. And this is coming from me. Okay? I I do think meme coins do... Same money that goes into the prediction market, same money that does the whole zero DTE thing on the equity side. It is the same PGNs that are going to just rotate back into the meme coin sector. All we need is just one meme coin to go crazy, and then all the others will follow.
[0:49:13] Voice I: You take Here's Here's problem. A lot of these a lot of these stuff is basically like a game of hot potato.
[0:49:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yep.
[0:49:20] Voice I: And a lot of the degens basically already know that that that's how it works. So they dump before it even has a chance to rise. I think
[0:49:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's true.
[0:49:28] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: I think
[0:49:28] Voice I: most of them dump at 5,000,000 or so, so it's hard to even get above.
[0:49:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's very true. Great point.
[0:49:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. True. I saw the the engineer came up. Let me say what's up to Kantor. Kantor, you buying meme coins or what? I mean, don't tell me meme coins on Hedera, bro. How could you?
[0:49:45] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: I'm I'm buying monkey pictures on on the blockchain, actually. No. I don't know. I think I think a lot of people are gutted how this last cycle has gone and think the next cycle is gonna be really, really different. And I do think that whenever this Clarity Act passes, that's gonna change a lot. Right? Because, I mean, number one, the SEC just kind of figured out securities versus commodities. That means that a lot of companies now are actually building things because they know that they can ship tokens. So that... That's gonna change the landscape quite a bit because so many real companies who have wanted to kind of get into tokens, build a token based systems just haven't been able to do it now for at least a a decade at this point.
[0:50:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Is is Cantor dead? What the fuck?
[0:50:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: He's more present now. Like, because he's always sounds like
[0:50:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: What the fuck?
[0:50:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: Crossing the street. Yeah.
[0:50:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Exactly. Because he's always crossing. Like, what if you get by a car? For fuck's sake, Cantor. Give us a sign of life, bro. Don't do this to us.
[0:51:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Cancer, blink your eyes if you need help.
[0:51:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes. Seriously. If you're under duress, like, say something, bro.
[0:51:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, man.
[0:51:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Oh my god. Because we know he's always running through New York City traffic. I don't know where he works in Midtown. I don't know where, but if he's in New York City, then he... He's... Oh my god. Canter.
[0:51:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, no.
[0:51:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Canter. No. Oh, no. Hidara. Oh, no.
[0:51:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: I hope he's okay. I must hate him, but let me see if he's alright.
[0:51:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Make sure he's good. What is going on? Imagine he comes out. He's just like, oh, just had a phone call. Sorry. Like, bro.
[0:51:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, it sounds like you got hit back on, my friend.
[0:51:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Literally. Literally sounds like you got hit by a car. Fuck. Goddamn it. Oh my goodness. Anyways, while you're doing that, Natalie, what... Cool. Your favorite senator, Elizabeth Warren, says that she has questions for mister Beast over his cryptocurrency plans, after he acquired a banking app. You gotta love Elizabeth Warren claiming to be for the common man and then literally being like, hey. You acquired a banking app. I need to know what your intentions are, mister Beast.
[0:52:19] Kool @koolcryptovc: What's the She's the biggest scammer. I mean, all scammers. All all the all the court is no scammers, man, but she's she's a huge scammer, man. Because, of course, they all bought and paid for. Right? So, yeah, I'm not a fan of that shit at all, but, yeah, they're all scammers.
[0:52:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Five. Oh my god. He's alive. Canter, don't... You can't do that to us, bro. What the hell? Canter.
[0:52:46] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: What? Did I did I rug? Did...
[0:52:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yes.
[0:52:49] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: Oh, man.
[0:52:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's so
[0:52:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: You did more than that.
[0:52:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: You did even that. Or something.
[0:52:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: It sounded like you got hit by a car. It's fucking me all for like, oh my god. I hope he's off.
[0:52:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god.
[0:53:00] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: Oh, no. What did you guys hear?
[0:53:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: We just heard zip zip. That's it. We were like, what?
[0:53:07] Voice I: It's been, like, five minutes.
[0:53:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And you were gone, bro. Because we know you always play frogger in the middle of New York City traffic. I don't know where you work in Midtown, Uptown. Don't know where you are, bro, but goddamn. Don't scare the shit out of us, dude.
[0:53:22] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: Oh, gosh. I I think it's too loud a punk comment. My goodness. What did you guys catch before I I died on stage?
[0:53:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. You... To be perfectly honest, I can't even remember where we lost you because I was too concerned for your safety, frogger.
[0:53:40] Kkoma @itskkoma: Fuck. Oh my god.
[0:53:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: I guess we'll come back. We'll come back. Let me say what's up to the engineer. Just you get the safety. Okay? Just just get in your living room. Alright? Go make yourself dinner, microwave some food or something. I don't know, bro, but just go home and sit down in your apartment. Fuck's sake. The engineer, what's up?
[0:54:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: Not dodging cars and not eating food, so that should make you happy.
[0:54:05] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I
[0:54:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: think got not eating food part. I was like, you're kinda eating one. Know you.
[0:54:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm not eating food. I promise.
[0:54:13] Voice L: Perfect. I'm setting up a camera, but I'm not eating food. Hey, yo.
[0:54:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's going on? What do you mean setting up a camera? What are you doing? What the hell? No. I'm just...
[0:54:20] Voice L: I'm just gonna take a camera. So...
[0:54:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I call it too.
[0:54:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: The slightest.
[0:54:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah.
[0:54:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love setting up security cameras. What what happened to you now? Where'd you go? Alright. So Oh my god. The engineer, what's up? Say something.
[0:54:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think the CIA got him. He wasn't
[0:54:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. What is going on today?
[0:54:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Anybody wanna start it? Guys, I'm setting up a camera. If anybody wants to be invited over for my camera setup session, please feel free to hit me up in the DMs. I will gladly send you my address. Let me know. You know? Widow. Yeah.
[0:55:10] Kkoma @itskkoma: I'll come I'll come.
[0:55:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: DocNooNoo? But you're gonna... No. No. No. Coleman, not not you. That was... Bro, that was for the the baddies, bro. That's not for you, dude. What the hell? Adele
[0:55:20] Kkoma @itskkoma: drink poker and drink whiskey.
[0:55:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Perez, I mean, you can if you want. That's fair. But on camera? What the hell?
[0:55:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: My gosh. What's going on? This just in. US dollar bills to be printed with president Trump's signature, removing the treasurer's signature for the very first time in American history. It's got this... The story's got this beautiful mug of Trump, like, smiling ear to ear like, yeah. Cool. You love this or what? Cool. Cool's like, yeah. President Trump on the dollar.
[0:55:55] Kkoma @itskkoma: So so I'll I'll I'll I'll do some rice. I'm sorry.
[0:56:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I guess. Rice, $100 bills.
[0:56:02] Kool @koolcryptovc: I mean, is it... I I don't know. I don't know, man. What what do what do what do you think? Do you like
[0:56:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, I love it. I mean I love it, bro. This doesn't speak Trump to the fullest and to the nth degree. This is my favorite thing ever. He's just like, yeah. No. No. No. No more more treasury secretary. Me.
[0:56:17] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I I would say a lot lot of people are not really happy with Trump right now. A lot a lot of... At the... At least I'll say, you know, people on on Twitter. Twitter Twitter, the the podcast,
[0:56:31] Kool @koolcryptovc: you know, hemisphere. Right? With the and the... With all of all of them. They're really like a job right now. Just because of the... He didn't vow no no war. And we just... I think I think they... What they're saying is they they told Trump the Iran war was gonna take two days. Take two, three days. And, I guess... You know? And I think they said, you know, Israel brought this stuff to to every other president, and they all said no. But Trump say, oh, yeah. I I could do it in two days. You can't invade a country with 19,000,000,000 people and which either control the the Australian war moose with all that oil. And now, a lot of us probably gonna pay, and I I I blame Trump for delay of all season because I bought a Honda Civic. I was hoping to buy me a, you know, a m five or m six, and I just bought me a Honda Accord, like, a couple weeks ago.
[0:57:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Now if we see Cool driving down, like, the street with rims on his Honda Accord, we're gonna have to have an intervention, just FYI. If we see Bane
[0:57:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: driving bubble. Fine. Well done.
[0:57:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: With spinners on his shit? Wait. Like, this is a problem. Cool. Don't don't go full blown midlife crisis. You know what I'm saying? Like, don't don't go full blown.
[0:57:58] NatNat @Natnatx007: Half midlife crisis. Yeah.
[0:58:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Go half midlife crisis. You know what I mean? You can't go full rice rocket. Don't do that. Fast and the furious shit out here. Anyways
[0:58:08] Kkoma @itskkoma: Wow. That's a pretty pretty pretty r word right there.
[0:58:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. It's not, bro. That's just a known fact. Stop it, bro. Come on.
[0:58:15] Kkoma @itskkoma: Stop it. Aging yourself, my friend. No one calls
[0:58:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: me out. That's true. You know you know, was in college when I went to go see the first ever fast and furious. Did you... Where... Do remember where you were when you went to go see the fur... The first one that you got out? Everyone was doing, like, donuts in the parking lot. Think they were good. They're like, never so
[0:58:27] Kkoma @itskkoma: born yet, but... Yeah. Yeah. That.
[0:58:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly, bro. You know what I'm saying? I
[0:58:32] Kkoma @itskkoma: don't know.
[0:58:32] NatNat @Natnatx007: How old are you, cohort 12? Yeah.
[0:58:36] Kkoma @itskkoma: Dude, I mean, this is recorded, but, like, do do you remember when, like, those Honda Civics used to have those, like, it was, like, really thick... The the h signs with, like, the red backgrounds or, like, the blue back... You know what I'm talking about, Dave?
[0:58:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: Of course, bro. Of course.
[0:58:51] Kkoma @itskkoma: I was a little punk, man. Like, my friends, we would try to find one of those cars, and then you could use, like, a credit card, and you could literally, like, pop those out if you wanted to. And then we will put it on our binders because we thought we're, like, this shit or something. And I
[0:59:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: was like,
[0:59:04] Kkoma @itskkoma: that's the stupid... If I saw myself, I would, like, smack myself in the head if I
[0:59:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Come on. Come on. I'll I'll do you I'll do you one just as stupid. Right? Like, with me as a kid, and I got totally fucking... I got ratted out for this by my little... Of all people, my little sister at the time, we used to go around ripping the car emblems off, right, specifically the Mercedes ones. And we thought we were cool. We'd come back and, like, put them on, a rope, you know, and, like, wear them to school thinking, like, yeah. I'm freaking cool. One day, I had, like, 20 of them, like, in my drawer. Right? Like, mind you, I'm literally sharing a room with my little sister who's, like, fucking... It was, like, six years... Yeah. Four years younger than me. You know what I mean? You know what I'm... Four year... Excuse me. Six years younger than me. Right? She opens the drawer. Right? I'm literally in the bathroom taking a shower, opens the drawer, takes them all out, and walks them downstairs to my dad. I was like, what's this? My dad was like, what in the f bro... A drawer full of, like, Mercedes emblems? I even had, like, one of the Porsche ones. Know? You know? That one didn't take a credit card. You needed, like, a screwdriver to, like, really dig that one in. But, like, why was I doing this nonsense? I have no idea. I have no idea. Me and Jason Furino. Wherever you are, Jason Furino, f you, bro. You're a bad influence. You're a total bad influence.
[1:00:14] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. I blame my friends. They were... It's...
[1:00:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I
[1:00:16] Voice E: was just
[1:00:16] Kkoma @itskkoma: following following along.
[1:00:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. So now we know, you know, guys. I think one thing that we all need to consider is that everyone's responsible for their own actions.
[1:00:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I mean, I I could tell you... Exactly. I I... Exactly. I could tell you that, like, if you ever want to pull off a Mercedes Benz emblem, you turn it six times to the left with your hand, make sure it's full rotation. You put your foot on the front bumper, You get a good grip on that thing, and then you just step and pull that thing out. Wrap.
[1:00:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. Hold on. I'm taking those six times to to the left, you said, and then I should pull it at the same time?
[1:00:52] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah.
[1:00:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. You put your foot on the front bumper and then and then hope that the guy who lives in the really expensive house, that you're literally in front of doesn't come out with a shotgun and, plan on shooting you. Not that that's ever happened, although we have... We were chased a few times. That's for sure. These Brooklyn streets were crazy. But, yeah, I was a hoodlum at some point. Like, why did I do those things? You know? When you look back, you're like, what were they doing?
[1:01:18] Kantorcodes | ℏol/acc @Kantorcodes: How did you find somebody with a shotgun in Brooklyn?
[1:01:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. No. No. And now I'm saying he didn't have a shotgun. I'm saying that was just me kind of exaggerating a bit, but, like, somebody did come out. Like, when Vinny bag of donuts comes out of his house. Right? Now mind you, also, at that time, I lived near the Genovese, like, you know, the Genovese family, like, one of the five, like, mob families. Like, the whole, like like, upper, like, captain level and up of the Genovese family lived, like, five seconds away from my house. I mean, like, genius. I'm like, oh, let's go just find some cool cars. I know. Whatever. This is ridiculous. This is ridiculous talk, but it is what it is. Sorry. Yeah. I
[1:01:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, okay. It's okay. I don't
[1:01:56] Kkoma @itskkoma: know how we got here, but, yeah, I think Fast and the Furious. I blame Fast and the Furious.
[1:02:00] NatNat @Natnatx007: I blame Fast and the Furious too. It's alright, Dave. I... We've all had some crazy, crazy times. I I didn't do anything like that.
[1:02:07] Kkoma @itskkoma: Craziest. That that was probably the craziest, low key.
[1:02:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: I mean, well, when I was younger, not that I'm old. Okay? I did get chased by a mongoose. I don't know what you guys... If you guys know what a mongoose is.
[1:02:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like a real mongoose?
[1:02:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. Like, chased me. He's like, yes. I like a real
[1:02:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: What'd you steal from the mongoose?
[1:02:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: I didn't steal anything. I was in my backyard minding my business, and it just came down the hill and started, like, looking at me funny. And I tried to run, and they came out for me.
[1:02:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: In The Caribbean?
[1:02:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes.
[1:02:41] Voice E: Hey, Dave. Hey, everyone.
[1:02:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yo, Sam. What's good, baby?
[1:02:45] Voice E: Bro, I had to come because of this Mercedes thingy. This is insane. I used to do the same shit, bro. And don't ask me why. I don't know. Among the Mercedes, I'm sure you develop tactics as well-to-do it the right way. We used to play football in the street right next to the car we wanna we wanna hit. And then one by one, like, it's funny you said it. We needed to circle it six, seven times. So one by one, we used to fake the ball, went in front of the car, switch. That's one. And then another guy goes, that's the second one. And then when we know it's almost there, we just shoot the ball, one of us run to the car, takes it, and we go to the next street.
[1:03:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's kinda smart. Look at you guys with a whole strategy and everything. Oh
[1:03:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: my god.
[1:03:35] Voice E: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, you just ask a question that mind boggling. Why did I do that? I don't fucking know. I I don't I like... I don't know. Like, nothing to do with it. What do you wanna do with it? It's huge. What do you wanna do with it? You got the Lincoln one. Remember the Lincoln one?
[1:03:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The the tall skinny Lincoln. Yep.
[1:03:57] Voice E: The rectangle one on top. It's hard.
[1:04:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Those were tough. The Buick ones were tough. Yes. Just like on there. But then the holy grail back in the day, I don't know why we're continuing with this, but the holy grail back in the day
[1:04:09] Voice E: The rolls?
[1:04:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Was like
[1:04:10] Voice E: The rolls always?
[1:04:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: For sure. Right? But also, like, if you could get, like, a Mack truck, you remember the bulldog that would be on front of the Mack trucks? Because it was like, we were all scared of truckers. Like, truckers are crazy. Right? It's just like, you go to, like, a rest stop somewhere in the middle of New Jersey and just be like, alright. We're gonna... If I take a hammer, would this thing come right off? It doesn't. Yeah. It's like welded off. It did not come off.
[1:04:32] Voice E: Where I grew up where I grew up, we had different kind of trucks. They were they were mostly Russian made. So already by the look of it, you don't wanna approach it. Exactly.
[1:04:45] Voice E: You're like, I'm I'm good.
[1:04:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just Yeah.
[1:04:47] Voice E: I'm good.
[1:04:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Thank you for not making me feel like
[1:04:50] Kkoma @itskkoma: next meme coin is gonna be
[1:04:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: for What is it? Mac?
[1:04:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: I don't know. It's like some Mercedes. I don't know. Something about stealing headphones.
[1:04:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: This is what people relate to, though, Komi. You know what I'm saying? Like, we... You know what? This is what we need to do. I need to make
[1:05:04] Kool @koolcryptovc: It's an app.
[1:05:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I need to make, like, an AI generated website, create some BS Twitter account, and then pump some stupid coin to holy, like, to Valhalla. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know
[1:05:14] Voice I: It's a 4,500,000 to be exact. Yeah.
[1:05:18] Kkoma @itskkoma: Doesn't have to be a long time. It just has to be a good time, Dave. So, you know, just
[1:05:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: make Yeah.
[1:05:23] Kkoma @itskkoma: Yeah. Make the meme coin, let it run, and see what happens.
[1:05:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. True. True. True. I don't
[1:05:29] Voice E: know if you remember those also, Dave. Maybe maybe it's French more.. Remember those cards?
[1:05:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. What's that? I don't know what that is.
[1:05:37] Voice E: It it used to be collection cards, but it's disgusting cartoons. Like, you have this baby
[1:05:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, the garbage pail kids.
[1:05:47] Voice E: What's it called?
[1:05:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: In in America, it was called the garbage pail kids.
[1:05:52] Voice E: With the disgusting gum that comes with it.
[1:05:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, we we we we we.
[1:05:57] Voice E: We used to call it... If I if I send you a couple of them, you're gonna remember.
[1:06:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. One second. One second. Yeah. Maybe they were garbage pail kids. Alright. Cool. You're up. Yes, Sam. Go look for it. Cool. You're up. And, guys, come up. I wanna hear your stupid kid stories now that we've officially rotated away from crypto. Thank you, Como. Market Bear market vibes. Come up and tell us your stupid kid stories and what you did as a stupid child, please. Hey. Widow's up. Widow, what's
[1:06:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: up? Hi.
[1:06:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's good? Tell us your stupid kid story.
[1:06:33] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: I I mean, I was a stupid kid, and I grew up in the sticks of Canada. So we used to go to this farmer's field. He probably didn't like us very much. What we used to do is we used to cut the twine on the bales of hay and race his bales down the hill and let them unroll. So that was probably not... He didn't... He was probably not very happy with us for doing that, but it was fun.
[1:06:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: How how old were you?
[1:07:00] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: I don't know. Like, nine, 10, 11 kinda age.
[1:07:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: I thought you were gonna say cow tipping. I was gonna say that's it. It's official.
[1:07:07] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: Tried, but it's a fucking myth, man. You walk up to those cows. I'm sorry, Nat, Nat. I didn't mean to swear. You walk up to those cows and they moo at you, man. There is no such thing as cow tipping. It's a myth.
[1:07:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, at 10 years old, like, I mean, were there five of you on one side being like, go.
[1:07:26] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: Yeah. Like, like, obviously, my friends, like, some of them live out in the sticks, so we'd all just have a sleepover with a bunch of us, and then we just go run around at night and try to go to a cow, and you'd walk up to it, and then it would just move. So much fun.
[1:07:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: I was like, that's... That sounds like
[1:07:43] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: And, like, you said a mongoose chased you? Have you ever seen a freaking Canada goose, man? Those hissing cobra chickens? They're terrifying.
[1:07:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. The mongoose was as as well. I was, like, seven years old trying to run for my life for this mongoose that won't stop running after me.
[1:08:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Okay. Wait. Let's hear let's hear
[1:08:06] Kkoma @itskkoma: from gonna make my next app like mongoosedot.
[1:08:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, this is great. I'm getting so many meme coin ideas. Guys, don't buy any old meme coins. Buy a new meme coin. I'm gonna be launching one later this evening at some point.
[1:08:18] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: Well, mom... Mongoose is actually an old meme coin that actually went to, like, hundreds of million, I'm pretty Yeah. So, I mean, if you're gonna launch a new Mongoose, it's gotta be new Mongoose.
[1:08:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: Thank you. Mongoose.com.
[1:08:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mongoose.com. Okay.
[1:08:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: 10%. 10%.
[1:08:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: 10%. Yeah. 10% of... I'll give you 10% of supply. Milo?
[1:08:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: There you go. I'll take that. What
[1:08:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: do you got?
[1:08:47] Milo @0dteSPY: Alright. Can you hear me?
[1:08:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We got...
[1:08:49] Milo @0dteSPY: Okay. So I had to step outside. I don't want my kids to hear this, but I used... I grew up on Roosevelt Island. Right? And all those buildings are connected. So we would start on one end of the 4th Floor, and we would run down the hallway, like, 10 of us just kicking every single door in the hallway. And there were some people that would come out, and they would literally try to beat you up. So they... So we'd have to make it all the way through to the to the very far end of the island and then get outside because usually that's when they stop. But we had one dude. His name was mister Simmons. And if he caught you, he would legitimately beat your ass.
[1:09:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mister Simmons from Roosevelt Island. I'm gonna go look this dude up. I'll be like, hey. You know Milo? Yeah. He's talking shit on Twitter. Bro, that's crazy. I thought you're gonna go ring and run, but, like, that's even crazier. It's like, so you kick. Did any doors ever open, like, when you kick them and then, like, see some wild shit?
[1:09:53] Milo @0dteSPY: Yeah. So, I mean, it... Look. I was, like, 11, 12. So the deal was is, you know, we would all line up, and then you would just... Like, everybody would just start kicking the door. And then you would run, and if you were slow or if they came out or the door popped open, you know, it it would get a little rough. I had to jump out the window one time on the 4th Floor because the way it worked was, like, they had, like, a courtyard that was behind there, and you could go up. So it wasn't, like, four four floors. It was, like, a floor and a half. But that Simmons guy was about to get me, so I hopped out the window. I ended up landing in the bushes, and then... Well, anyway, it was it was it was a lot of fun. Don't try this at home.
[1:10:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't try this at home, kids. I mean, there's nowhere for you to go. For those that don't know Rosemount Island, it's literally an island. It's literally an island, like, right across from... On the East Side Of New York City. There's nowhere to go. Where are running to? Yeah.
[1:11:00] Kkoma @itskkoma: You know, I'd argue now, like, kids won't be able to do any of this stuff because they're gonna feel obligated to put it on their social media, and then they're gonna get in trouble by their parents. Like, now... Back then, like, since there was no social media, you just have, like, your group of friends and your memories, right, like, knowing that you did this and you got away with it. Like, these kids are stupid as hell now. Like, they need... They wanna be famous for the all the monkeys.
[1:11:23] Voice E: So right.
[1:11:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: You are so
[1:11:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: imagine if you... Imagine if Dave stole, like, 50 Mercedes, like, emblems, and then he, like Yeah.
[1:11:30] Voice E: Dave, imagine we had mobile phone back in the nineties, early two thousands.
[1:11:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'd be pinched. I'd I'd be I'd oh
[1:11:37] Voice E: my goodness.
[1:11:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: I I
[1:11:38] Voice E: don't wanna... Just just... You know what? Change the subject.
[1:11:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'd be pinched in a second. Widow, what's up? You got another one for us?
[1:11:45] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: No. I just was just saying with the with the social media thing, like, my favorite video was that one where that kid was caught on a ring bell, and he yelled to the lady. It was... Might have been staged. I don't even care. I laughed my ass off. He yelled. He's like, dad, I got caught. And then you just hear the dad from the... From behind the house. He's like, run. What are you doing? Run. Like, you gotta play ding dong dance. You have to. It's like it's like initiation into childhood.
[1:12:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Facts. Nat, I'm a I'm a take you back right now. Remember the manhunt days? Like, that's what we used to call it here in New York. We used to call it manhunt. It's like, you wanna play manhunt? They used to go, like, just all of... We used to go, like, hopping across roofs because there was lot of abandoned houses, like, where I... Where, like, where I grew up. And it used to go, like, roof... Like, hopping from roof to roof. And then you'd find abandoned houses, and then you'd go in them, and they'd be like, this is, our hangout. Like, this is a spot. Like, this is ours. Like, we were... We thought we were, the Goonies. You know I mean? Anybody else do this? No? Nobody?
[1:12:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, no. Because they... Remember back then, the house is, like, in the the the roofs in The Caribbean, you couldn't really, like, jump on it. Right? Because they were like this triangle, and there was nowhere nowhere to land unless you're trying to, like, roll off. But we used to, man... We used to play tag in America. You guys call it tag. We used to play tag in the beach, and that was amazing. If you went into the water and drowned, that was a 100% on you. Right? But we we had so much fun just playing tag on the beat. So that was a really good memory.
[1:13:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's how that's how I got started at an early age. I was playing tag at recess in in elementary school where it was, like, when the girls would chase you, it's just like it's like, tag. It's like, you're it. And it's just like, why'd you come and get me? Like, you could've gotten every... You could've got everybody else. It was, like, within, like, two feet of you, but, like, you came all the way this way to tag me.
[1:13:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Tag?
[1:13:37] Trav @trav_4211: What the fuck is that?
[1:13:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: I used used to be so aggressive with tag in in recess. I punch some god harder than I have. Mean...
[1:13:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Trav, you're coming up here trolling me with tag. Trav, give me your stupid kid story.
[1:13:51] Trav @trav_4211: Yo, bro. We used to play we used to play hide and go get it. We ain't college.
[1:13:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hide and go seek. Hide and
[1:13:58] NatNat @Natnatx007: go get
[1:13:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: it. Yeah.
[1:14:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: The hell? Wait. What? Hide and go get it? What were you getting?
[1:14:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hide and go get what?
[1:14:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Yo. Use your imagination, bro. That's all I'm a say.
[1:14:12] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: Wow. I I I
[1:14:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: picked up on that.
[1:14:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Where did Trav grow up, man? We don't know.
[1:14:18] Voice L: We do.
[1:14:19] Trav @trav_4211: Oh, look. Hey, Dave. I was lunch, and I was like, why does Dave wanna invite me up? Look. I had a wild childhood. I ain't telling you none of my shit. This shit is wild, yo.
[1:14:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: I sent invites to literally the whole group because I genuinely wanna hear stupid kid stories from him.
[1:14:34] Kkoma @itskkoma: Combine Trav's game, hide and go get it with NetNets tag playing style. It's it's a perfect combo.
[1:14:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: You ended up in the water? Well, yeah. I'm a go... You hit it? I'm a I'm a go get it.
[1:14:46] Trav @trav_4211: Oh, look. Hey, yo. I'll tell you one. I'll tell you one. So we used to live, like, next to a trailer park. Right? And all the kids would get together, and there was a driveway that had a drop down. So we used to stand, like, right beneath... And it was right by, like, a main highway where tractor trailers will come out, you know, come through, like, tons of them every day. So we wait till it get dark, and we would find, like, real, real hard objects. And when they go by, we used to hit the trailer and pow, and they would lock up.
[1:15:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Travis doing some diabolical shit. He was causing accidents on freeways and shit.
[1:15:26] Voice E: But I mean...
[1:15:27] Trav @trav_4211: No. It was never any accidents, but, yeah, they used to
[1:15:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: get pissed at us for that. Did you got... Did... Let me ask you guys a question. Did you... Like, you know when Halloween came around? When I was a kid, when Halloween came around,
[1:15:37] Kool @koolcryptovc: you guys ever do the eggs
[1:15:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: and shaving cream? Did ever go what we called over here in New York? Did you ever go bombing?
[1:15:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. In high school. In high school.
[1:15:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I Oh, like, c p n? Yeah.
[1:15:48] Trav @trav_4211: In c p n. Yep. And
[1:15:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: then In in high school... Like, are are you kidding me? In high school, like, New York City was covered. This was, like, the pre... Or maybe, like, right at, like, junior high school, like, the pre Giuliani days when, like, New York was just a total shit show. Like, everywhere you walked on Halloween, right, it was either shaving cream or eggs. And every car that walked by, we were just like, whack. Whack. Talk about people that chased you. You try hitting a Mercedes Benz or a Bentley that drives by when smack that thing with an egg. People will literally ride their... Drive their cars around blocks and blocks. You just have to go duck in in, like, in driveways and shit. Yeah. That was crazy. Nobody else did that
[1:16:27] Voice I: on Halloween?
[1:16:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Is that a
[1:16:28] Trav @trav_4211: new Yeah. Yo. All the shit we did back in the day, you can't even do today. You get killed. Way. Yeah.
[1:16:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: You you will literally get killed. Yeah.
[1:16:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. No.
[1:16:36] Kkoma @itskkoma: Ever do, like, taping? Like, like, tape... Like, duct taping the the road, and then, like, a car would, like, drive past it, and it'll, like, get stuck on the the tires, and it'll be, like... It'll be impossible to get out.
[1:16:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, and then the noise would happen? Like, it's, like, too too too... Oh my god. That's so annoying.
[1:16:53] Kkoma @itskkoma: Never did that. To actually, like, take out the tape because it's basically just... Yeah. That was... Those those are good times.
[1:17:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: That was some rascally kids. That's terrible. We were at least, you know, hitting cars with eggs. You guys were, like, putting tape. Like, that would tear... That would, like
[1:17:08] Kool @koolcryptovc: I was a you during
[1:17:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: whole trip.
[1:17:10] Kkoma @itskkoma: We only damage the tires. You're damaging, like, the mirrors and stuff. Like, that... That's really hard to replace.
[1:17:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I mean, trying to remove the... I remember my mom's car got hit with some eggs. She she did not find that funny. She typical typical Latina mom, she wanted to, like, put everybody in their moms and time out and and give them all a. But it it... It smells, and you gotta get rid of it right away, and sometimes it's not as easy to come off. But it was fun fun time.
[1:17:41] Kkoma @itskkoma: I think we're lucky now. Like, as as adults, like, these kids aren't doing this kind of stuff. They rather just, like, dance in front of their phones and put it on TikTok. So glad we don't have, like, this type of, like, crazy shenanigans, hopefully.
[1:17:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Fair enough, I guess. Yeah. Wait. Cool. You didn't tell us your, like, stupid kid story. What the hell did you do? I need to know. There was some crazy Nigerian stories, bro. I don't wanna hear it. Like, I need to know. What is cool? Tell me right now. What were some crazy kid stories for you? Damn it. Cool.
[1:18:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I do want... And so being chased by a Mongoose or being chased by a chicken is how you solidify your Caribbean card. Right? So I feel like I need to take my kids. We might... I took my daughter to the Caribbean, but she didn't get chased by anything. We gotta go visit my tia. I have a tia in in one of the islands that lives with a whole bunch of chickens. I feel like if I can take them there and have them be chased by chickens and solidify the Caribbean part, that would make my day. You have to be chased by something in The Caribbean in order for you to claim that you're 100% from The Caribbean, even if it... Even if it's just like a baby duck, something.
[1:18:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Good times. Good times. Good times. Yeah. Alright. Lovely. Love it. Love it. I know we're ten minutes early, but I'm not opposed to closing ten minutes early, if I'm being honest, unless anybody has anything else they wanna go over. I guess I'm
[1:19:06] Voice E: gonna I sent you... I sent it to your DM, the thingy.
[1:19:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, let me see. Let me see. Let me see before... If it's garbage.
[1:19:13] Voice E: I'm sure you know it. I'm sure you
[1:19:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: know Let's see. Yeah. These are the garbage pail kids. Yes. Okay. Okay.
[1:19:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Post it in the comments so we can see. I wanna see what it looks like.
[1:19:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Okay. I got you. Wait. This is definitely
[1:19:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: Are you running this one with that stuff?
[1:19:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, no. No. Wait.
[1:19:28] Voice I: This is not... Is this the garbage pail? Yeah. Wait. Is it?
[1:19:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hold on a second.
[1:19:33] Voice I: Focus. I know.
[1:19:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: Kid, does anybody know what I'm talking about when I say garbage pail kid?
[1:19:40] Widow | collab manager @TheOnlyWidow: I what you're talking about.
[1:19:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. That's what I mean. Everybody knows the garbage pail kids. How do you not know the garbage pail kids?
[1:19:48] Kkoma @itskkoma: Is this the French version or something? Or...
[1:19:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Maybe maybe the Canadian version. Canadians are weird, bro. You know how it is. Like, you... They're weirdos, bro.
[1:19:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know?
[1:19:58] Voice E: No. That was more French than Canadian. That was me and friends collecting those in school.
[1:20:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: What are they called? Cabbage Pail Kids?
[1:20:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: Gar... Garbage pail. Like a garbage
[1:20:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: pail? Yeah.
[1:20:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like a garbage pail. I... I'm pretty sure. Widow, I just put it in the comments. Check it out. Tell me
[1:20:15] Voice E: if that's... You're right, Dave. I I I searched Kadosh. It gave me your name, garbage bill.
[1:20:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It is the garbage bill, kid. Right? Yeah.
[1:20:23] Voice E: That's it. That's it.
[1:20:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: That's it.
[1:20:24] Kkoma @itskkoma: He said Dave popped up me. But,
[1:20:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: like, Liz, for real, like, what were we... Like, who was who was making this stuff, and why was it so uber successful? Like, we hated And
[1:20:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: it was
[1:20:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Like, kids were, like, throwing their nose.
[1:20:38] Voice E: Because my parents, when they used to see those cards, you know, what what what the fuck are you holding in your hand? So it was, like, yeah. They're rebellious. I wanna have them all.
[1:20:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I was like, I love the guy that's picking his nose and sticking his finger in his butt, and you're like, you wonder why we turned out so weird. Right? Like, this is it. This is re... This is the reason why. Like, these kids are all... Look at this. Kid's picking his nose. He's got a tooth popping out of his head.
[1:21:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: The kid's apparting and then, like, a whole fire coming out of butt?
[1:21:05] Voice E: Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Imagine this today. You're you're gonna end up with infinite lawsuits.
[1:21:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, for
[1:21:11] Voice E: sure. Yeah.... My kid. Yeah. Well, don't buy it.
[1:21:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Man, these these these these toy companies were different back then.
[1:21:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know? Every day...
[1:21:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: So happy to go....
[1:21:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Something different. They were different. This is next year....
[1:21:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Different. Yeah.
[1:21:25] Voice E: And there was there was the Tamagotchis. I don't know if you Oh,
[1:21:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tamagotchis are totally... I... You know how many Tamagotchis I killed, bro? Like, I am... I was not I was not ready to be a dad. Were you crazy? Probably, if I'd still kill him today. I'm just saying. Yeah. Yeah. Same here.
[1:21:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's vain. Just wanted
[1:21:40] Voice E: to see how
[1:21:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: soon doing alright so far.
[1:21:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. You killed the Tamagotchi, but you managed to actually... Like, you're you're actually managing to, like, raise two kids. Go look at this. Yeah.
[1:21:50] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm proud of myself.
[1:21:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Miracles can happen, ladies and gentlemen. So don't worry.
[1:21:56] Voice E: And when you look at those old... Yeah. You look at those old screen, Tamagotchi screen, you're like, wow. Our imagination used to do a pretty good job adding to that because I used to imagine it really differently. You know?
[1:22:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Legit. Legit. Legit. Anyways... Alright, kids. That's it. I'm wrapping it up. I gotta take Bubba for a walk. Bubba, wanna go for a walk? Let's go. I gotta take this dog for a walk. He's gotta go out, do his thing. Dave. Appreciate you guys. Yeah.
[1:22:21] Voice E: While you do your walk with Bubba, call me.
