All Things Crypto: The USDC Advantage Thanks to MiCa

AIAnthropic / ClaudeBinanceBlackRockBybitCLARITY ActCircleCoinbase

A World Cup-heavy show hosted by NatNat, with Dave sweating a large Polymarket position on France to beat Sweden in regulation (about 71 cents average) and Moni live-watching. NatNat opens with FIFA projecting over €12B in revenue from the 2026 tournament (about €8B tickets and hospitality, €3.9B broadcast), alongside talk of ticket prices and giveaways, X post-boost complaints, and panel picks for the final. The main crypto story is Circle falling about 17% after Stripe, Visa and 140+ companies announced the Open USD stablecoin, where partners keep the reserve earnings; the panel debates whether it threatens USDC (Moni and Taj note USDC is MiCA-compliant and businesses will use several stablecoins). NatNat then covers the July 1 MiCA deadline (about 80% of non-compliant firms cut off, capital requirements of €50K-€350K, CASP licensing, DORA/TFR), with Ryan on how costly a separate EU operation is and OKX's aggressive marketing to capture the region. It closes on OKX's AI-agent marketplace (okx.ai, OKB-staked evaluators), Ryan's question on why AI-replacement projects blow past their ROI on token costs, and a study suggesting heavy AI use dulls critical thinking.

[0:00:22] Moni @monitalan: There may be some screaming during this match.
[0:00:27] NatNat @Natnatx007: It's okay. No worries. No worries. I think it might just be us two today, Monica.
[0:00:34] Moni @monitalan: We'll we'll have a a good conversation. Actually, I was just about to tell somebody they wanted to join us. Let me see. She may be watching the camera too. So... They're safe. Oh, nice a day to show up.
[0:00:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh my god. I feel, like, so abandoned. This is not GMPM.
[0:01:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: I still see you as a speaker. Oh, there you go. Can you hear us there?
[0:01:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god.
[0:01:14] Moni @monitalan: Oh my god. That was so close. Mape,
[0:01:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: my biggest prediction yet. I got so much money on this freaking game.
[0:01:25] Moni @monitalan: I think
[0:01:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: France will win. I... A lot. They're they're going super strong. They just haven't
[0:01:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: scored. God.
[0:01:32] Moni @monitalan: I mean, they've had three good opportunities, at least.
[0:01:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my goodness.
[0:01:37] Moni @monitalan: I told you, Nat, lots of screaming here. So
[0:01:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: forget it. It
[0:01:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: is all good. I think I am the only one not watching anything right now. But, like, I I will live curiously through you guys. Probably. I guess, I'm with the kids and they have the cartoons on. Good way to keep that busy.
[0:01:55] Moni @monitalan: The game's tonight at late. It's at nine. So...
[0:01:58] NatNat @Natnatx007: Good. Yeah. They'll be sleeping by then. But, David, how are you?
[0:02:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Don't put the ball in the back of the net. Oh, I'm
[0:02:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: good. I'm
[0:02:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: good. Good. Everything is good. You know?
[0:02:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: No show yesterday? I think
[0:02:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't know that. No show. Where were you? Nobody was here yesterday. I don't know what y'all mean. Everybody was gone. Nobody was in the chat. You know? So
[0:02:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: You didn't post anything. That's why.
[0:02:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: What'd you mean? I said in the chat, y'all wanna have a ATC, and people were like, poof. You know? Like, I don't... You know? But
[0:02:35] Moni @monitalan: The silence was deafening.
[0:02:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: It was so deafening. Oh my god. Please, Sweden, don't score right now. This would be crazy if Sweden scored right now. Who do you have my own friends? Yeah. Yeah.
[0:02:46] Moni @monitalan: Yeah. I think everybody has my own friends.
[0:03:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's definitely more than $10. That's the damn show. Oh, that's right.
[0:03:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: It was Monica that said that she was paying with 10.
[0:03:10] Moni @monitalan: Yeah. $10, not 10¢.
[0:03:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: I just think France is cheap to win in regulation at 70¢ right now to be able to make 40 set... 40% on your money for the for the French. I mean, they've had every opportunity possible just now to at least go up one nothing. You know what I mean? So... And I think once they get the first one, I think it'll be... Like, they could just settle in a little bit and then just start piling it on. But my god. They hit the post. They sailed one over the crossbar.
[0:03:37] Moni @monitalan: And it has been the wildest World Cup. I mean,
[0:03:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: it has
[0:03:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: been the
[0:03:41] tsn @tsncrypto: wildest World Cup.
[0:03:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Crazy. Absolutely crazy. But...
[0:03:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: What do you think
[0:03:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: for? My Moroccan team. Yeah. No. No. Yeah. Yeah.
[0:03:49] Kool @koolcryptovc: But Morocco from yesterday, man, when my my my kid and I are watching it late, and it was just... It was unbelievable, man. They do... My kid was freaking out, man. It was probably one of the best, penalty games I've seen in a very, very, very long time, man. Definitely.
[0:04:03] Moni @monitalan: And can you believe... Mexico was so behind them. Could you hear the stadium going Morocco? Anyway, it was
[0:04:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: pretty cool. Did you see did you see what the Mexican fans were doing? They were stationed outside the hotel for the Ecuadorian player just beeping their horns all night so that the Ecuadorian team couldn't sleep?
[0:04:21] Moni @monitalan: It's a small group of Mexicans.
[0:04:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love that.
[0:04:25] Moni @monitalan: But my favorite tweet was somebody saying, I can't believe somebody's outside, and then they gave the name of the address to the hotel, like, making noise.
[0:04:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Everybody turned up.
[0:04:36] Moni @monitalan: Go there.
[0:04:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love it. Funny. I love it. I love it.
[0:04:42] Voice F: So you kept them up all night.
[0:04:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Exactly. Come on. Come on.
[0:04:49] Moni @monitalan: But to be fair, I do think one of the hardest things for... I I don't think people realize, even though it's Montevrey, the altitude is not so bad. I know. I know. I'm watching. Almost...
[0:05:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: What are they doing? Another post? This is bad news. This is bad juju. I should sell my business. This is not good omens.
[0:05:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: You want? If you're up, take profit. No. Why do you ever want to take profit?
[0:05:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm breakeven right now. He bicycle kicked that shit off the post.
[0:05:19] Moni @monitalan: It's okay. Once... I think once one goes, we're on... Like, it'll be fine. I still think it'll be fine.
[0:05:27] Kool @koolcryptovc: Is is is it almost done? The the the the French trench reading room?
[0:05:30] Moni @monitalan: It's thirty five minutes in.
[0:05:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, that's a lifetime, bro. Oh, you could
[0:05:34] NatNat @Natnatx007: We're super early, and they've had,
[0:05:36] Moni @monitalan: like, six chances. Right? So I think it's fine.
[0:05:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: My team, we got eliminated.
[0:05:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, so, I mean, so so sorry about that.
[0:05:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sorry. You're so me. Right.
[0:05:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. Sweet.
[0:06:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: But you know what, David? I think a lot of these teams that are, like, the underdog, so to speak, a lot of them are showing a lot a lot of grit, though, which is great to see.
[0:06:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: I know, nah, but it freaks me out when I got the biggest freaking prediction of my life on the line right now. I'm just like...
[0:06:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: Did you take out a cycle mortgage if I'm...
[0:06:28] Voice F: No. What's the prediction? Dang it.
[0:06:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, France at seven... My average is 71¢ right now. France to win during regulation time. Bro, to make 40% on your money, you don't think the French are gonna win? It's crazy, man. If they don't... Bro, they hit the post twice, but it's not a good sign. This is not a good sign. If they end the half zero zero, I might sell my position. This is just crazy.
[0:06:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: Damn.
[0:06:53] Voice F: I don't
[0:06:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: like it. I do not like it
[0:06:55] tsn @tsncrypto: at all....
[0:06:56] Moni @monitalan: Gonna sell your position if they go half... Oh, no.
[0:07:00] NatNat @Natnatx007: Imagine imagine you sell, and then they score, like, the biggest goal.
[0:07:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: It is... I'll deal with it. Right?
[0:07:06] Ryan @Rlad1776: I'm a
[0:07:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: shooter as hell, but, like, my gosh. And then he had a wide open net, and he missed
[0:07:11] Moni @monitalan: What a kick.
[0:07:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. How many opportunities? Oh.
[0:07:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think Kool and I are the only two not not participating in the predicting. Right, Kool?
[0:07:25] Moni @monitalan: The silence is deafening. Yeah.
[0:07:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But, I mean, if if Cool's... Look. I mean, they've had possession the whole... Guys, I need to I need to see a show of hands for the listeners. I need to know, is France going to win this game regulation time? Throw your thumbs up if you think France is going to win in regulation time. I need to see... Natalie.
[0:07:51] Voice F: I'll say this now. So I I think think three of the matches in this stage will go down.
[0:08:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: Don't know. But penalties yesterday, the Germans are out. The Dutch are out. Everybody...
[0:08:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: You can't bet on the you can't bet on the tie though, like Ryan
[0:08:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: I can, but, like, I'm not a tie for Sweden and France. One of my psycho. That'd be the craziest bet on the planet. Come on.
[0:08:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, you got a dunk or some... The black boy. Look at that.
[0:08:22] Voice F: And this and this might be one of them. So...
[0:08:29] Moni @monitalan: Go ahead and see what happens right now. This will be a great one.
[0:08:33] Ryan @Rlad1776: Well, I I I I guess I'm back from my self imposed hiatus after this space got shut down. And so... But I wanna publicly apologize and say I might have gone too far. And I'm very sorry, Dave, and I hope you're not mad at me.
[0:08:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: What are you saying? I don't even know what you're saying right now.
[0:08:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: You're apologizing for a little while. Apologize. Yeah. My god. He's apologizing for you having your hands... Not your friend's hands.
[0:09:05] Ryan @Rlad1776: And when you when you went a little... Yeah. You got... I I guess I pushed it too far, and you've kicked me down. And then I came back, and then you shut the space down. So I'm sorry that I did that, and I just wanted... I want... I I want us to be friends. Yes. I did.
[0:09:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, alright.
[0:09:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: Are you drinking again?
[0:09:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right. Right. Oh, of course.
[0:09:31] Ryan @Rlad1776: And by the way by the way, the Thai bet is still working even though we're in the knockout round.
[0:09:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: I need everybody to send the good news.
[0:09:40] Moni @monitalan: They didn't score? Oh my god.
[0:09:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tony, it's not like... Like, I wanna say, like, oh, they're knocking on the door. They're gonna do it. But then, like, the other side of me is like, oh, here comes the counter attack, and it's just like Sweden's gonna score. You know what I mean?
[0:09:56] Moni @monitalan: Gonna have to start doing some black matches.
[0:09:59] Dave @DCBK2LA: I know. Could we call could we call the... Who is the witch doctor that put the spell on Harry Kane? Where was she from?
[0:10:08] Kool @koolcryptovc: You mean from Ghana. Right?
[0:10:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Oh,
[0:10:10] Moni @monitalan: yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[0:10:12] Kool @koolcryptovc: It it works. It works. I mean I
[0:10:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: I need a I need a good name of witch doctor. A good name witch doctor.
[0:10:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: Dude, not good... Honestly. Partaking in the betting... I mean, predicting or not yet?
[0:10:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: No. I'm just watching games, man. I I can't I can't... I have a very addictive personality, so I stay away from those kind of vices. Some of my naps. I'm sorry, guys. I don't... And my naps was tripping. Yeah. I I stay from from vices I can't control, so that... I can't control that, man. So I don't I don't mess with that, man. I I would like to, but no, man. It is... I I would I would mortgage my house. I would I would sell my kidneys to go pet if I did. So... No.
[0:10:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about it. What tie? It's France and Sweden. What tie? That's Greek. So tie. By the end of ninety minutes, you think... Okay. I can't be I can't be saying this because that's
[0:11:03] Voice F: Well, it could
[0:11:03] Ryan @Rlad1776: be it could be... Dave, a tie could be zero zero. A tie could be five five. Like, all you gotta do is be right that it ends in in in a tie. Like, the Germany game yesterday.
[0:11:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: The ballet? Oh, This
[0:11:21] Voice H: is when I fasted to
[0:11:22] Voice F: get ballet, so I'm sorry.
[0:11:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sorry about that. Just leave me right in again.
[0:11:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: What are you doing?
[0:11:32] Ryan @Rlad1776: Natalie, Dave's still mad at me, so I'm gonna drop down.
[0:11:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. I don't... He's not mad at you. He's he's just so... He got a lot... He has a lot of money He's watching the line.
[0:11:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: The
[0:11:42] Moni @monitalan: game. Trust me. He's not mad.
[0:11:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: He sold his car, and he he sold other stuff too. So and he put
[0:11:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: all money on the line. The dog is gone. Bubba
[0:11:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: is no longer. Unbelievable.
[0:11:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: I sold the dog. Okay? Somebody said 3,000. I saw France. I'm like, fine. I'm a come back and buy the dog back. I had to do it. It is what it is, guys.
[0:12:30] Ryan @Rlad1776: There you go. Impresses me. And beauty comes in all forms and fashion, by the way. I'm not a... Well, I do have a particular type, but that's not for this space. But I I love all women. Me too.
[0:12:47] Voice F: Not good. Spoken. Tom. What
[0:12:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: is up, Allison? Are you using
[0:12:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: this conversation? They gonna put the laundry in. Wait. Oh.
[0:12:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Did you guys know... And this leads me to the to the first story while Dave is screaming in the background. That FIFA is projected to generate over €12,000,000,000. It is one of the highest grossing ever. It's one of the highest growth... Grossing World Cup ever with the with the twenty twenty six tournament in US, Mexico, and Canada. This is huge, huge, huge thing for FIFA. I guess, though, the brakes are working.
[0:13:26] Moni @monitalan: I was gonna say it's all of
[0:13:28] Ryan @Rlad1776: At least there's something supporting that shitty currency.
[0:13:30] Voice F: If we did not... The actual research into Karusha will not pay for that. If you if you did those down the space, it's a dedicated space. Jesus.
[0:13:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: I I did think I'm digging on this. Right? Because I wanted to know where the majority of the money was coming from. Right? So if you break it down, it says around €8,000,000,000 from ticket sales and hospitality and 3,900,000,000 from broadcasting rights, and the rest is part... Sponsorships and partnerships. This is, like, quadruple the revenue that they've ever made.
[0:14:07] Ryan @Rlad1776: Why why is it why is it doing it in euros? I mean, they're not playing any games over there.
[0:14:13] Moni @monitalan: But because FIFA is in Europe. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. That's how they report.
[0:14:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: But I
[0:14:18] Moni @monitalan: was gonna say, well, Dave has a heart attack here. Oh my god. They just can't break in. Anyway, what's interesting is that remember everybody said that the stadiums would be empty and that they wouldn't be able to get in... Really?
[0:14:46] Moni @monitalan: He's ahead of... Your your your TV is ahead of my TV.
[0:14:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go.
[0:14:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: Don't ruin it for Monica. Your TV is too
[0:14:55] Moni @monitalan: fast. Hey. Oh my god. This is so cool.
[0:15:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, baby. Let's go.
[0:15:03] Moni @monitalan: You know, Coleman has said that they're gonna score more than three goals this match. That's his his prediction.
[0:15:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: They do, man. I hope they do. I'm a ride this out. What do I got? Another thousand share? Man, I knew I should have bought some more.
[0:15:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: You know, degenerate. I knew I shouldn't have said... No. I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna do that. That's crazy. That is crazy.
[0:15:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: I do have something to say.... For going. He's like, well, I wish I I am
[0:15:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: not be selling that. I might be selling
[0:15:34] Moni @monitalan: I that. Will be selling. He went from selling to buying more. Hey. By the way, if you did the prediction... The the... Whatever it's called in in the prediction markets app for The US, you can claim right now. Like, I think I got... This is how I'm getting my money. I'm not getting any money. I got, like, $50. You have to deposit 20, but you get 50. So if you have it... If you did the... Your predictions, check if you're eligible. It's only in The US. But, anyway, that's just the polymarket commercial for today.
[0:16:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: Monica, what were you actually saying earlier that in terms of that a lot of people thought that that that they won't be able
[0:16:13] Moni @monitalan: to sell tickets? Right. So there's been a couple of issues. Right? They couldn't sell the tickets because the prices were so high. So what happened is that they gave a ton of them to the sponsors to give away. So that's one way, but they were able to sell many more. And in fact, I was reading today that somebody... Oh my god. Sorry. I was reading today that somebody... Their tickets got canceled, and they're reselling them for five times the price on StubHub, which I think is horrible.
[0:16:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know what's very interesting? I was with my family traveling this weekend, and one individual that I came across, we were we were actually talking about this. And his wife initially was able to find, tickets for, like, 1,300, but they didn't pull the trigger on it for whatever personal reasons. And then now they're trying to buy it again, and it's at $4,000. But then if...
[0:17:11] Moni @monitalan: I don't know if you've seen PredictStreet, like, the company that's sponsoring... The prediction market's sponsoring the FIFA. They're giving away tickets to x creators on x. So I'll share his post. If you're in Houston, in Dallas, like, wherever they're playing, if they have tickets, they're giving them away to creators.
[0:17:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. There's another company that's giving away, tickets. Ryan, who is it that... Was it, CryptoPrank? Yeah. What company is he with?
[0:17:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: So it's ZoomX, but he's got he's got relationships with all the big China, DeFi, platforms. So... You know? And, like... But it's it's mainly from ZoomX.
[0:17:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Gotcha. And I think bits of wealth was actually giving away tickets too at some point.
[0:18:04] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. He gave me, I got tickets to the,
[0:18:09] Ryan @Rlad1776: shit, Uzbekistan...
[0:18:11] Voice F: They're all swamped right now. Think Kraken is fun.
[0:18:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: The one
[0:18:14] Ryan @Rlad1776: I really want is the Croatia game, but that's up in Toronto, and I'm not gonna fly up there. So...
[0:18:22] Voice F: Got connections at Kraken. Those are the ones. Kebstow.com. I think I've got...
[0:18:32] Ryan @Rlad1776: Monie, I'm not a creator, but I'm... I I believe
[0:18:35] Moni @monitalan: you... I think whoever. You can... I don't think he's saying creators. Right?
[0:18:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: I believe you and I are friends, and you're a creator. So do the friends of creators also get tickets?
[0:18:44] Moni @monitalan: You should... I just posted his post, and he's doing it daily. So just reply, say where your base or what tickets you have, and see if we can... I don't know what he's looking at to give the tickets away.
[0:18:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, that's actually pretty cool. If anyone is in Dallas or Atlanta, that'll
[0:19:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: be I tagged you guys. Did you guys not see me tag you under the ADI, under Morpheus' tweet? I tagged Cool. I tagged Moni. I just made up locations. I was like, oh, I'm in New York. Moni's in Monterrey. Cool.
[0:19:15] NatNat @Natnatx007: I didn't I didn't tag me, so, no, I didn't see you.
[0:19:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I was untagged.
[0:19:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: He tagged me in Monterrey. I'm like, I guess I'm gonna have to fly to Monterrey.
[0:19:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: Hey. Listen. We do what we have to do, guys. Okay? We do what we
[0:19:27] Moni @monitalan: have do. Let's get tickets for the final, and I'll go to New York. If anybody can get
[0:19:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: tickets to
[0:19:32] Moni @monitalan: the final, I will go to
[0:19:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: New York. I think we should all put together a post and then all comment and make that post go viral. I'll spend the $25. By the way...
[0:19:41] Moni @monitalan: Do it from g m p m. Do it from g m
[0:19:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: p m. Then
[0:19:44] Moni @monitalan: we can all reply.
[0:19:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. By the way...
[0:19:46] Moni @monitalan: We want the g m p m crew there.
[0:19:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Agreed. And, also, this whole Twitter boost thing, bullshit. Okay? You know on TikTok, you could spend, like, $25 and, like, boost the post or whatever? Twitter does that now. So I spent $25 to boost the post, right, yesterday for the GMPM show. Right? I was at, like, seven hundred and eighty eighty impressions, right, when I hit boost. Spent the $25. It says get 13 to 30,000 impressions. Alright. Cool. Here's my $25. You know where I'm at today? 1,500.
[0:20:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: You didn't have to do that one. Well, technically, they did it. They didn't say 15,000 overnight. Right? At some point, they... You may get
[0:20:33] Moni @monitalan: It may be by by next year.
[0:20:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: By the end of next year. It would have been nice to be a little notified. I'm trying to promote a show. It's weird promoting Monday show for a post that now... Promoting a post for Monday's show that now is said and done. It's a little bit weird. Thank you for taking my $25
[0:20:51] Moni @monitalan: for your think... You know who's bad by that too, LinkedIn? They only boost it to people that follow you. And That's retarded. And now they... And it's not immediate as well. So in LinkedIn, it takes two to three days for a post to actually get traction.
[0:21:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: So That's retarded.
[0:21:10] Moni @monitalan: It is so crazy.
[0:21:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: So retarded. But also... By by the way, the... Nat, the World Cup stat that you were... That you rattled off, the next closest... What's it called? Still, like, the Qatar... Like, last World Cup, they did literally half the amount of money. I mean, it was something like 5 or 6,000,000,000, which is nuts when you actually think about it. Americans, say what you wanna say about Americans and soccer and blah blah blah. Americans make people money. This American market is where the money is at.
[0:21:42] Moni @monitalan: They did a smart job. A ton of people come here. Right? And by the way, remember it's also Canada and Mexico.
[0:21:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: I hate
[0:21:47] Moni @monitalan: to tell you that. I hate to remind
[0:21:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: you that it was a three country turn up. Yeah. I literally rest that, David. I literally rest that. Thank you for paying attention.
[0:21:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: We had, like, one game in Canada, though. Like, where's the... There hasn't been any other games in Canada. Mexico, yeah, I get it. But, like, nobody wants to play in Canada. It's like, Canada.
[0:22:07] Ryan @Rlad1776: I love that
[0:22:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: you have family in Canada.
[0:22:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: I do. But, like, who cares? You know? Like, at this point, whatever. We love Canada. Okay? Playing Canada. But
[0:22:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: you're right. I'm sure that the games are being played in The US, not in Mexico with a slight... Yep. It's like the final final ones
[0:22:28] Moni @monitalan: are all US. Right? I think the last Mexico one is not... There may be two more. I don't... Actually, I don't know if anybody knows.
[0:22:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I don't know. You guys wanna... Okay. Before we go into the next to the next story, I wanna do some prediction with the speakers. K? I know we spoke about who do we think it's going to... Which team is gonna win the World Cup. But the matches, who do you predict will be the the final match? Which two teams?
[0:23:00] Voice F: Baraco.
[0:23:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. I'm gonna take it down so you can't change it. Okay? You gotta pick a sign. It's
[0:23:06] Moni @monitalan: So Morocco and Argentina?
[0:23:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Morocco, Argentina would be would be fire. I do think the Moroccans have have a a big head of steam on them right now. So, yeah, I like the Moroccans for sure.
[0:23:20] Moni @monitalan: And I'm going for the Simpsons prediction. Oh, sorry.
[0:23:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm I'm putting David down for Morocco and Argentina. Alright. It's cool. What what two teams do you think are gonna make the final?
[0:23:33] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. So it's it's hard to say because I... I'm... I I can't tell which which teams are in in different groups. I can't really tell. I could... Give me, like, two minutes. I could I could check real quick. I'll I'll call back.
[0:23:44] Moni @monitalan: Okay. Alright. Monica, So I changed my prediction on who wins, which takes me to what this is. I am going to go with the Simpsons prediction. That is gonna be Portugal and Mexico.
[0:23:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Wow. And Mexico. I'm right... I'm literally writing it down, and I'm gonna put this... I'm I'm gonna do also... You know, I don't know you guys do this with your kids for those that have kids. Right? But whenever we have, like, a to do list, we kinda just put it on the fridge and we go checking it off. I'm gonna rip this paper off and put it on the fridge so you guys can't change it. Okay. So, Portugal in Mexico, you said. Right?
[0:24:23] Moni @monitalan: Yes. Sorry. Sorry. Yes.
[0:24:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, it's okay. I'll go. Ryan, who do you have?
[0:24:28] Ryan @Rlad1776: Give me thirty seconds, man. I'm looking it up.
[0:24:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: Alright. TSN, who do
[0:24:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: you have?
[0:24:33] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm just
[0:24:33] Ryan @Rlad1776: looking the brackets.
[0:24:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: Got it. Okay.
[0:24:37] Voice F: I'm looking. I'm gonna stick with three three tips. We're go up. Can go through probably this round. England's going on. England's going
[0:24:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. They're not.
[0:24:53] Voice F: No. Still
[0:24:54] Moni @monitalan: here. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
[0:24:56] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. That's the other shitty European country.
[0:24:59] Moni @monitalan: Oh, England will love that they play Mexico.
[0:25:05] Voice F: They won't play Mexico.
[0:25:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: You said you said France and England, Pietro?
[0:25:11] Voice F: France to go through England to go out on penalties. Mexico to go out on normal time with the rest.
[0:25:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: So which do?
[0:25:39] Voice F: I'm looking now. I'll come back to you. I'm not great.
[0:25:43] NatNat @Natnatx007: No problem. Ryan, you ready?
[0:25:45] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. I'm gonna say... God dang it. Because if it plays out the way I hope it does, the US is gonna have to play Croatia, and that sucks. I'm gonna say Croatia and Argentina.
[0:26:03] NatNat @Natnatx007: Interesting. Okay. That's gonna be a very interesting game. Cool. You ready?
[0:26:14] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. I'll I'll say, Argentina and and Morocco. Those two. The... Argentina seems like a short bet, though, because they they have a much easier path to the final. Argentina and Morocco. Morocco just... Because I saw what they did, and those dudes, they seem very hungry, man. So who who should
[0:26:33] Ryan @Rlad1776: get tickets, dude? That... That's the last game they played down here.
[0:26:36] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, in Houston? No way. Yeah.
[0:26:38] Ryan @Rlad1776: It's Canada Morocco, and I'd love to rub that into Trader's Pizza.
[0:26:44] Moni @monitalan: Reply to that guy. Reply to that guy. Cool. You should reply to that guy saying you're in Houston. I would love tickets.
[0:26:53] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, okay. No worries. I'll I'll try it out. Sure.
[0:26:56] Ryan @Rlad1776: I mean, if you like Morocco... And I do agree. They look good. But, you know, that... Watch them beat up on the Canada. Fifty first day.
[0:27:02] Moni @monitalan: They're gonna totally be Canada.
[0:27:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: They'll totally be Canada. It, Ryan. Canada? Really? Come on.
[0:27:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: When is the next game in New York? Do you guys know?
[0:27:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: What about The US? Who who who who are they playing now?
[0:27:14] Ryan @Rlad1776: The US has a go. But Bosnia, Herzegovina.
[0:27:18] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, okay. Yeah. That's... They they should win that. Right? I think.
[0:27:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: They should win that game. Yes. They should. But then is when it gets a little
[0:27:24] Ryan @Rlad1776: bit spicy. Yeah. They play the winner of Belgium, Senegal. Right? Yeah.
[0:27:30] Voice F: I've then got got an Eastbound to the next round, so that's why I'm trying to work out. Like
[0:27:36] Ryan @Rlad1776: Just root for Croatia, everybody. I I wanna see that that asshat from Portugal cry.
[0:27:45] Kool @koolcryptovc: Go up to... More Ronaldo. Please.
[0:27:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: I don't... Know, so is is there a reason that people hate hate me? What Benel is. I don't I don't
[0:27:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: know why
[0:27:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: people hate why people hate Ronaldo.
[0:27:55] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I don't... I mean, he seemed like a nice dude, man. Why why do you hate... Hey, Ronaldo? I don't get it. Like, what what what's up
[0:28:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: with the hate?
[0:28:00] Ryan @Rlad1776: Good looking, and he has so much money. I mean, like, is there any other reason why they hate hate a dude?
[0:28:06] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay. So why do you like Messi now? I feel like Messi now. I've seen that on my on my on my timeline.
[0:28:11] Ryan @Rlad1776: Messi's a a short little
[0:28:14] Moni @monitalan: He's not depressed.
[0:28:15] Ryan @Rlad1776: He... He's like, you know, he's he's goofy looking, but, you know, like, I'm not I'm not, none of my toxic masculinity is intimidated by Messi. But Ronaldo, like, nobody's gonna look at me if I'm in a bar standing next to him. That's why.
[0:28:29] Kool @koolcryptovc: Wait. So so does that mean does that mean you hate Tom Brady today? Oh, hell yeah. Right?
[0:28:34] Ryan @Rlad1776: No? Well, I hate him for... Hell, I hate him for two reasons. Number...
[0:28:38] Voice F: I'll tell you why.
[0:28:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: Boston, number one, and number...
[0:28:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Because I'm
[0:28:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: from New York, and number two, New York, New Jersey. And number two, he's just awesome. And he's good looking. So, yeah, I hate him with a passion. I I hate all good looking men.
[0:28:56] Voice F: I'll tell you why. Because I met the advertising crew for Messi, and Draenelder. And to be fair, there is a reason why.
[0:29:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: To be honest, I think all... They look like regular individuals, so no need to fret, Ryan. Okay? I'm pretty sure your wife will still choose you in a
[0:29:18] Ryan @Rlad1776: fool's role. Time. Given the given the chance and the right the right person and with the right amount of riches, she's she's Audi 5,000, like... And I can't blame her.
[0:29:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh,
[0:29:28] Voice H: I'm not
[0:29:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: I at least she's honest. You know? You can't you can't knock her for being honest.
[0:29:31] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, no. No. No. She's... Trust me. Yeah. Honest to a fault, Nat, to the point where it hurts. Yes. Very honest.
[0:29:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: And and you... They... I don't know if you heard Dave's comment, but but I do still think she will choose you, Brian.
[0:29:48] Voice F: Well
[0:29:49] NatNat @Natnatx007: Dave just wants
[0:29:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: to push ups. I've been doing push ups, Brian. I don't know about you, bro,
[0:29:52] Ryan @Rlad1776: but don't know. I'm telling you
[0:29:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: she wouldn't. Push ups.
[0:29:55] Ryan @Rlad1776: Like, she's had a crush on Steven Tyler since she was, like, 16. She still says even though he's, like, 98 now, she, like, she made me promise that if she ever met him, she was allowed to make out with him.
[0:30:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, I mean, she told you in advance, you know, the the silver lining and all of this.
[0:30:12] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. So I said, that's cool. I'm gonna make out with his daughter. Liv Tires is a lot younger.
[0:30:19] Voice F: Nice work.
[0:30:23] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know what?
[0:30:24] Ryan @Rlad1776: You know, I don't know why. I I I actually do kinda like Ronaldo. I mean, he he is a great player, and he he does amazing things on the on the the field. It's just...
[0:30:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. It's it's it's crazy. Yeah.
[0:30:35] Kool @koolcryptovc: I I do I do see the the... I I don't know why because, I mean, he's won a lies don't... He's achieved a lot, man. I'm like, why did you hate Ronald Ronald this much?
[0:30:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: It does... Don't I don't
[0:30:45] Kool @koolcryptovc: I don't I don't watch soccer as much. I I I don't get it, but it it it... That hate doesn't really translate somewhat towards towards messy sides. I'm like, why? Is it... I I don't know why. I don't... I have no idea because they they both equally wealthy, but I have no idea. I don't know. Maybe maybe he said some stuff back in the day people remember. I don't know. Maybe he went to teams. I don't... I I have no idea. I I would like to know why they chose one on
[0:31:10] Ryan @Rlad1776: the guys, I'm telling you. Like, for the girls, like, there's not a girl, a woman in in in this show or on any show that if you put Messi next to Ronaldo in a lineup and say you get to pick one for your forever man, like, Messi's going o for 90,000,000. I'm just saying right now.
[0:31:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: I wouldn't pick any of them, to be honest. I would not pick any of them.
[0:31:32] Moni @monitalan: I will tell you this. I think I would probably go with Ronaldo if it's based on the Thank you, Ronaldo. Yeah.
[0:31:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: I see the truth.
[0:31:41] Moni @monitalan: It's the truth. But I will tell you, I actually think they're both really good guys. Like, they're both do good things, but I do think Ronaldo's a lot more showy. And I don't think people like that. Right? Like, Messi's super humble. Ronaldo, maybe not so much. But he he... I've seen, like, a lot of stuff where he's been very approachable, and he's done good things. But I think he's showing... I mean, his wife had a show on Netflix showing how much money
[0:32:09] Voice F: he's That that is something you need, though. It's completely engineered for, like, the viewers. It's like...
[0:32:17] Ryan @Rlad1776: And look. Let me just be clear.
[0:32:18] Voice F: I have equal amounts of I think they've got them.
[0:32:20] Ryan @Rlad1776: I have equal amounts of hate for Beckham, for... Who else? There there were a few other people, that have equal amounts of hate for. Oh, Brad Pitt. Hate him. Hardcore. Hard hard hard hate
[0:32:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: for hater, bro. You sound like a hater right now.
[0:32:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: What about Shamar Moore? Why didn't nobody mention Jamar Moore? Not that.
[0:32:42] Moni @monitalan: Oh my god. You know I have a picture with him? I have a picture with
[0:32:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: him. You do? What's the Youtube fangirl? I'm back as Monica.
[0:32:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: What the hell?
[0:32:52] Moni @monitalan: Oh my god. He's so hot.
[0:32:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: The news.
[0:32:55] Moni @monitalan: I wear it to the news.
[0:32:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: News, David, but you just kept screaming in background. I figured I'll just wait until you calm down before we move down to the next story. But TSN doesn't have get me to
[0:33:06] Voice F: I guess we need this. Who do we hate? That would be a good story.
[0:33:12] NatNat @Natnatx007: Justin, you gotta give me your two... Your final two... For twins.
[0:33:16] Voice F: Oh, let's go out.
[0:33:17] Ryan @Rlad1776: Hey, Nat. And don't don't... I don't know if you brought it up already, but I think you should bring up that platform.
[0:33:22] Voice F: Because I'm gonna go to Pedley's.
[0:33:25] Ryan @Rlad1776: This Which path?
[0:33:26] Voice F: Some route.
[0:33:27] Ryan @Rlad1776: The the one that we talked about on, the other space.
[0:33:29] Voice F: Brazil and Castro is the final.
[0:33:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, GameStock.
[0:33:32] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. Yeah.
[0:33:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: So GameStock is actually... It's a new it's a new platform, right, where you can... Everyone starts with, what is it, like, a million dollars, and whoever gets the most ROI, they get to... They get paid something like that, Brian.
[0:33:48] Ryan @Rlad1776: Is that correct? So there's a buy in. Right? And then you get a million bucks, and it becomes a trading competition. So think World Series of poker combined with, like, a prop account trading, and they turn it into a competition. And it can last days, weeks, months, and they basically... There's there's payouts and there's prizes for whoever is the the top trader over that... Whatever the terms are or the structure you put around the the event. But it's a it's a pretty cool idea. And one of the one of the founders, I believe he's a founder...
[0:34:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: The CEO? Yeah. Yeah.
[0:34:31] Ryan @Rlad1776: Ex m... MLB player. They really are bringing, like, athletic and...
[0:34:36] Voice F: He spoke quite well well, actually.
[0:34:38] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. It's a
[0:34:39] Voice F: quite impressed.
[0:34:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. It's a it's a cool... Kinda cool vibe thing, and you should definitely check it out. I mean, you can do, like, just groups, your groups, and make it closed, or you can participate in bigger, you know, you're just rando and you wanna go in there and see how your your skills stack up against other traders. So, obviously, the million dollars is is digital. It's like... You know, that's what you start with that you're buying for whatever the amount is, but it's a cool idea.
[0:35:11] Voice F: Dave, please. You set up a small grape. So it is.
[0:35:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: For what?
[0:35:18] Voice F: For this.
[0:35:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, for the for the trading thing?
[0:35:22] Voice F: No. Well, that's the trading. It can be World Cup. It can be again.
[0:35:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, World Cup. Marathon. I mean, I'm already in a group. So if y'all are out, I can't help you. You know what I mean? Like, you know, go find your own group. Sorry. It is what it is, guys.
[0:35:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: Alright. We... Hold on. It's it's...
[0:35:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: We What do mean? Gonna tell you. That is what it is.
[0:35:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: Alright. Yes. And one last time since if you don't have the group, I'm just gonna bypass you. Okay? Two finalists.
[0:35:49] Voice F: Can I join the group?
[0:35:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: My god. Okay. Taj, welcome to the stage, my friend. How are you?
[0:35:57] tsn @tsncrypto: I'm doing good. How are you guys doing? Always a pleasure to be hanging out with you crew. And, yeah, everybody's already here. So, yeah, how's it going? Everything's good.
[0:36:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So you walked right in to an amazing prediction conversation. So you know how FIFA has been doing incredible, incredible numbers that... Which was one of the first stories that we covered. Right? It's... They're... They quadrupled how much they've made in the past, how much they've made before. Right? Which leads me to my my question. So so far, we... We've had, people say who they think is gonna win the World Cup, but my question for today is what teams do you think are going to make it? Like, what would be the final match? Right? So David has Morocco and Argentina. Kukul has Morocco and Argentina. Monica has Portugal and and Mexico. Ryan has Croatia and Argentina. TSN, he doesn't know. So I'm gonna ask you, Taj, what two teams... What what two teams do you think are gonna make it to, like, the final final match?
[0:37:02] tsn @tsncrypto: Oh, pressure. I gotta think about that one. You gotta circle back to me. You gotta think about it. But, yeah, overall, though, the numbers have been absolutely crazy. And I think, to be honest, it's it's it's a good thing for the sport worldwide, but I've... Sorry about that little puppy in the background if you heard that. But but... Yeah. No. I think... I I have to circle back on the answer for who I think the finals are because I have to kinda see... Because it's not just the best teams, but it's how it's gonna match up and who they're gonna play.
[0:37:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: Did I lose him?
[0:37:38] Moni @monitalan: Yes. Yeah. No. No.
[0:37:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: You lost him.
[0:37:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: You said you gotta check back.
[0:37:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. Yeah. So we'll check back. In the meantime, everybody, just go ahead in the comment section just to make it as interactive as possible. Just go post in the comment section which two teams you guys think are gonna make it to the final... To to to the final match, and then let's see who wins. They said he's gonna pay everyone a Dave Bucks for those that that guessed correctly. They may or may not rework something. Who knows?
[0:38:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: They will one day. They day. You don't want to miss out on Dave Bucks. Okay?
[0:38:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: There you go.
[0:38:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Exactly. Like, you want Dave dollars, like, 100%. Also, did you guys see that they they started renaming or they they named the streets in New York City for every single one of the Knicks? OGN, and Obi Way, and and Cat, and Brunson, all the way from 7th all the way along... On 7th from, like, West 8th all the way to, like, 23rd. I love that shit.
[0:38:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: I was there this weekend.
[0:38:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Excuse me? Mhmm. I'm sorry. What what did you just say?
[0:38:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: What?
[0:38:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: You were where?
[0:38:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: What do you mean?
[0:38:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. You just said I was there this weekend. Where were you this weekend?
[0:38:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: I was in New York with my family. Family time. Oh. But I did have to
[0:38:50] Moni @monitalan: But remember, you can't meet her husband.
[0:38:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm just kidding.
[0:38:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: I see how it is. Uh-huh. Nat was in New York this weekend. Uh-huh. But we can't see her husband, obviously, because because Landy. Exactly. Unbelievable. Uh-huh.
[0:39:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: Alright, Natalie. My husband is Dominican.
[0:39:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: I see how it is, Natalie. See how it is. It's okay. It's fun.
[0:39:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: It's... Imagine if Landy was Dominican.
[0:39:17] Moni @monitalan: Where is he?...
[0:39:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right now. Where is
[0:39:19] Moni @monitalan: he? He couldn't make it, but he had a very
[0:39:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: important Coincidentally, in New York, assume.
[0:39:25] Kool @koolcryptovc: Oh, yeah. Because I was gonna say, I am gonna, I'm traveling on a short little vacay on... So I might... There is something... Maybe my last show at least, like, week and a half or something. We're going to, the Dominican Republic, man.
[0:39:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, you love that.
[0:39:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: Absolutely. I need I need a vacation, man. This... All this stress from crypto and life and all this stuff, so I need stuff. No. No. No. It's a skate. We do a vacation every year once once or twice a year. So last year was Jamaica. This year, we're to Punta Cana again. So we think that's gonna
[0:39:54] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. We were we were there last year. Vacation in
[0:39:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: The Caribbean.
[0:39:57] Voice F: Enjoy.
[0:39:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: Amazing. Well deserved. Well deserved. Very well deserved.
[0:40:03] tsn @tsncrypto: Are you a reserve guy, or do you go off resort? I have to ask.
[0:40:08] Kool @koolcryptovc: Yeah. Yeah. So I... You know, so we we we go with my my my friend's, my friend's wife's and then kids, my wife, and my kids. So it's a... It's like fifteen p... Sometimes, my friend's brother and their kids. So it's easier if we stay in the resort, but sometimes we do go out. Sometimes. Not not many. But now it's just... The vacation is just swimming, drinking, partying, having fun with the kids, and just, you know, phones off, Twitter off, everything off. So I I need I need I need to clear my head, and I'll be back.
[0:40:36] Ryan @Rlad1776: Awesome people. I'm man. Awesome people. We were there
[0:40:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: a lot. We went there we went there in
[0:40:40] Kool @koolcryptovc: a a year and a half ago. Well... But, yeah, no. It's good. We go... Every year, we go to some kind of summer, beat something. So this year is Punta Cana again. So, yeah, it's nice. Hopefully, it'll be fun.
[0:40:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, I I do have a lot a lot of connections there. So if you guys need anything, hit me. Okay?
[0:40:58] Ryan @Rlad1776: Damn, Matt. Are we talking, like like, you know, cocaine cowboy connections or, like...
[0:41:08] Moni @monitalan: France? Well, you wouldn't be excited if it wasn't France. Just remember my TV is behind by a minute.
[0:41:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm
[0:41:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: just... He's rushing me to go to the next story, and he's just, like, screaming in the background. Go ahead, David. Fine.
[0:41:26] Voice F: Stop you. Proper shirt.
[0:41:29] Moni @monitalan: If you're not
[0:41:30] Dave @DCBK2LA: watching it,
[0:41:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: I don't
[0:41:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: like soccer.
[0:41:32] Moni @monitalan: I'm so sorry for you guys. We should have a gold competition. Gold. Just
[0:41:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think Dave might win. Based on what I'm hearing, I think he got that already in the pocket. Alright, guys. So we're gonna move on to the next story. Dave, if you need to unmute and and and and and scream and yell, it's completely okay. We'll we'll have a moment of silence when you do that. But I don't know if you guys saw Circle got beat down really heavily today. They were minus 17%. Right? So if you do some digging, this was around the time when news was released this morning of of the new stablecoin that's coming out. Right? So Stripe, Visa, and over 140 other businesses, they're to launch a stablecoin to rival Tether and Circle. Right? And it's open USD, and and I believe, Monica, I believe you made a post about this earlier?
[0:42:34] Voice F: That's quite huge, actually.
[0:42:35] Moni @monitalan: It is huge.
[0:42:36] Voice F: That's huge.
[0:42:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. But I think the other part...
[0:42:38] Moni @monitalan: I did do a a post. I think there's... If you read the article, and I'll share it in a little bit, but they, you know, they have quotes from a lot
[0:42:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: of the partners. But I
[0:42:46] Moni @monitalan: think what's interesting and why a lot of people are like, this is kind of a game changer, especially for Circle, is that partners receive all the earnings from open USD we serve. So that's a small management fee to cover operational cost. But that means that that's a competitive advantage, right, or when you look at the others.
[0:43:07] Kool @koolcryptovc: So so I I don't...
[0:43:08] Voice F: Have a question.... Diluting market though in the end. So...
[0:43:11] Kool @koolcryptovc: So are are are these stablecoins, are they are they built on centralized blockchains or they're using decentralized blockchains?
[0:43:20] Moni @monitalan: I know they're working with based on Solana, so you can do it on both. And they... It is global. Right? They have MercadoPagos, but somebody may have more information on it. They even have DoorDash, by the way. I mean
[0:43:32] Kool @koolcryptovc: Wait. So so so, basically, basically, eat and Solana, basically, are in... Indirectly... I'll be at the eat... Maybe Suitsu maybe will, they'll the, indirect benefit from this possibly?
[0:43:47] Moni @monitalan: I get... I didn't see Sui. I only saw that Solana and pasted post.
[0:43:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: So I
[0:43:54] Kool @koolcryptovc: Okay. So so Yeah. So so so you're saying Eats to 50 k there. Okay. Cool. Thanks.
[0:43:58] Moni @monitalan: Yeah. Eats on... Ethan Solana. But somebody may know more than I do.
[0:44:03] Ryan @Rlad1776: Well, I'll also say the the the biggest... I think the biggest factor, that contributed to that is Visa also announcing. And that is what like... Because v... Visa has a captured market, Visa, Mastercard. Right? And them coming out with their own, that is what crushed
[0:44:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah.
[0:44:27] Ryan @Rlad1776: Circle, I think, in my opinion. And... Now the other two will play
[0:44:31] Voice F: a role. Been it's been on the counts for a long time. So you can go through the various websites he was working with. So I'll suggest to do that.
[0:44:42] Moni @monitalan: But I also think if you look at... If you step back and think how long Circle has been in the market and the fact that you have court... You know, you have crypto companies here, you have TradFi, you have, you know, you have everything from MoneyGram. It's global. As I said, you have Mercado Libre. You have Bank of Australia. You have IBM, Shopify. I mean, Google, Samsung. If you look at the list, it's super impressive. And I think this is why there's, you know... Circle has a big campaign right now. And remember that they're launching their...
[0:45:18] Ryan @Rlad1776: I mean, we are...
[0:45:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: They're like...
[0:45:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just... It will be the way for
[0:45:20] Voice F: the direct providers and the big transfers, and you'll get it. It is pretty simple.
[0:45:28] Moni @monitalan: Yeah. It has Visa.
[0:45:29] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. But it was Visa and Stripe,
[0:45:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: by
[0:45:31] Moni @monitalan: the both... They're part of this. Right?
[0:45:35] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. That
[0:45:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: that that was the big announcement that...
[0:45:37] Moni @monitalan: But also Mastercard Shopify, part they're of it. Like, if you look at the list
[0:45:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: part of this one one to... One Stablecoin. It's a 140 companies, including Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock.
[0:45:52] Moni @monitalan: Fireblocks, DoorDash, Felix, which is from Mexico, Shopify. I mean, it's pretty impressive. I mean, they did this. This is really well coordinated and
[0:46:04] Ryan @Rlad1776: I mean... And the other thing the other thing that contributed today
[0:46:07] Voice F: But they'll come back to one star.
[0:46:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, PSN, you have Hang on. PSN, you have to let right right information start.
[0:46:12] Dave @DCBK2LA: One second.
[0:46:12] Ryan @Rlad1776: The the the other thing that contributed today, like, had you had multiple bad... Like, multiple threat vectors... Threat vectors kind of colliding. Not only did you have Visa and Strike announcing that, but you also have the EU and the requirement to liquidate all your USDT.
[0:46:36] Moni @monitalan: But that doesn't impact CIRCLE. Right? That actually helps CIRCLE.
[0:46:40] Ryan @Rlad1776: Or are you... Well, it's it's USDT, USDC.
[0:46:44] Moni @monitalan: No. USDC, I believe, does have authorization for MICA. I think they're... They actually... If you look at all their advertising, they emphasize that they have... They're compliant. But I'm almost sure Circle isn't impacted by that. It was USDT that's impacted. Do you know Okay.
[0:47:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: I do. I I do know. I do know. USCC is Yeah.
[0:47:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: You may very well be right, Monica.
[0:47:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. It's... USCC is 100% MICA compliant. It is.
[0:47:13] Ryan @Rlad1776: May also have a bunch of nitwits over there like me who didn't read the whole article and are liquidating by USTC.
[0:47:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. No. USTC states they're good.
[0:47:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: You know, which pushes press... Puts pressure on, you know, downward. Right?
[0:47:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. It's it's okay, though. I I think right now, the issue would be just with USDT, which helps Circle because they're they're competition. Right? But what doesn't help, USDC or even Circle is what, what these other companies are doing with OUSD. Go ahead, Pearson.
[0:47:45] Voice F: Yeah. But I'm gonna switch. There's one or two at the moment, Tom. If you if you look at globe capture, USDT, or USDC, and this huge market for it. So to be fair, I I wouldn't worry about it so much. I think USD deal will catch up. USD is being primed to go to the market for it, but both will prevail, I think, in the long run. Yeah. I think they had Blackrock
[0:48:20] Ryan @Rlad1776: coming out saying they're launching their own stable, didn't they, recently?
[0:48:23] NatNat @Natnatx007: So Blackrock is part of the group too.
[0:48:25] Voice F: Well, this is what London was talking about a while ago. I wanna say it was like, everybody's gonna be launching their own stable guns, but end of the day.
[0:48:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: What's what's very what's very interesting is that all of these companies are backing all USD, so I wouldn't be surprised if they if they implement that stable into, like, their framework or let their clients use it or have some kind of APY and...
[0:48:50] Voice F: Well, I'm use it, but we need trust in the end user's bias. It's like... Once it backs... Backed again, it's... We take a...
[0:49:03] Moni @monitalan: And this is where I think USDC has an advantage. Remember, they're also having launched the ARC. Right? They're... Yep. So I I think they're setting up to do pretty much different type of announcements with institutions. But, ultimately, I think it speaks to TradFi being very much aligned with coming into the crypto market. I also think a lot of companies have been waiting for the Clarity Act. And from what we're seeing, there's movement. A lot of people are trying to push it, but for it to go through in July. I think there was JPMorgan yesterday saying we need Clarity Act speaks to we may have something sooner than later. I think there's now, a lot of people are expecting it to go through in July. We'll see. But I think it has good momentum, based on things that happened this week.
[0:49:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So in DC, there is definitely a big push to pass the Clarity Act as soon as possible for sure. But, Taj, I've seen you have your hand up for a minute. Go ahead.
[0:50:07] tsn @tsncrypto: Yeah. No. It's all good. Great conversation. No. I just wanna say really quick that, a couple couple couple points on this. You know, like, for the most part, like, banks, for example, like, they'll use multiple networks, etcetera. Primarily, they'll they'll have, like, their, you know, their debit card on one network or something. But, like, as far as processing goes, businesses, like, as long as the payment comes through. So I think these big players like Stripe, etcetera, are open to using multiple stablecoins because at the end of the day, wherever the customers are, they just wanna be there to be in the ecosystem because they're in the business of moving money. They're not really playing favorites. Right? You can process cards all around the world, and their whole idea is just trying to move money anyway. So as far as the stablecoins, I don't think they're necessarily loyal to any chain or any stablecoin per se. Yes. They would like more control with the chain while a lot of them are, you know, dabbling with their own ecosystem. However, you know, like, all these banks and, like, financial institutions, I think they're gonna be, like, everywhere that they, you know, see any kind of traction whatsoever. And one thing that I will say, though, is if you go to USDC's page, if you've noticed over the last couple days, they've been putting out some, like, very interesting tweets with the one... Or post. But the one that they put out today was almost like... You know, it reminded me, like, back in the nineties of, like, you know, with with with, like, Shig Knight getting on stage at the source awards and calling out producers because, like, I felt like it was kind of a shot fired. It's like, yeah, if you're a large institution and you're a serious player, like, you use USDC. That's that's the way I read it. Maybe I'm I'm I'm thinking too far into this, but I just found it very funny that it was a couple hours after this big announcement was made with all these different partners and everything. And, you know, they put out that tweet. So I thought it was just really funny that they would put that out because I I thought it was a kind of a defensive thing rather than, you know, the route that they've been going before where it was all was... Their marketing was kinda like a feel good thing. They would have, like, some, like, you know, wedding in Africa or something, and, like, they would have, like, these, you know, figuring out, oh, how are gonna pay for this? That USDC? Like, that's how they were doing their marketing before. So anyhoo, we'll see how this goes as the competition heats up. I think that's gonna be kind of, like, the interesting point. The consumer, to be honest, it does not... I I don't think it's gonna make a difference, but I just think it's for their business and their business model. So if you're investing in any of these public companies, I would say that's where the interest is per se, not necessarily for the consumer because a dollar is a dollar.
[0:52:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's actually a great point, Tash. Go ahead, Monica.
[0:52:31] Moni @monitalan: I also think it's fascinating how a green base is everywhere. Right? They're they're a big part of Circle. Right? And now they're also a part of this. So it's good to see them kinda predicting that they need to be everywhere.
[0:52:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: Doesn't it seem odd that they're kinda just, like, batting for both sides at this point?
[0:52:53] Moni @monitalan: No. I think they're trying to see where the growth will come from. So I don't know. If I was Circle, I wouldn't be very happy. But
[0:53:06] Voice H: To be fair, they can... USDC and USDC can be both taken out. So I think I'm both.
[0:53:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Things are gonna get very interesting, and I think one one driver for sure that's going to... That's enticing some of this competition is gonna sound crazy, but I think the bear market has a lot to do with it. Right? Because I think if we're... If we were in a bull market, things would be a little different. Right? But because we're in a bear market and crypto has taken such a big blow, I think it affects how people see, cryptocurrencies in general, even stables, and I think it it affects the the usage percentage as well. So I I I think
[0:53:57] Voice H: It's prime for a You could type both.
[0:54:01] NatNat @Natnatx007: What was that?
[0:54:03] Voice H: It's prime for a takeover. You could take USD. So you can't take USD to USD umbrella into one wrap up and take it in The States if you want it to him. Why not?
[0:54:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. We shall see. We shall see. But I I I do think I I do think Monica is right in terms of, Coinbase just positioning themselves to see which one, which one takes off for sure. But I... This brings me into into the next story, right, which is very interesting because even this even this benefits Circle, and it benefits Coinbase. Right? So the whole Mika thing, tomorrow is the deadline, July 1, which is which is, you know, something that we have mentioned. I believe it was last week, and we kinda broke it down. So as of right now, as it stands, 80% of the crypto firms that have not met, being MICA compliant are gonna be done with. One of my family members, I forgot which firm that they use. I I gotta look it up while we speak. I'll look it up in the background. But he received a notice saying that this firm that he uses for trading crypto will no longer be available. So they they gave him a list of other, firms that will be available in in the particular country that he's in. But I think it's gonna be very interesting with all of this that's happening. I mean, 80%, I think a lot of businesses are going to take a hit. Right? Because at the end of the day, these crypto firms, these trading platforms, they count on revenue. So at the end of the day, they are a business. So I think it's gonna impact them greatly. But with competition in and out and all of these players no longer being a part of the game, Circle being Mica compliant, Coinbase being compliant, I think this move benefits them as well. And I wouldn't be surprised if some... If they have an adviser or Mika adviser in their team. Right? It's very interesting how this is playing out to kinda benefit Circle and Coinbase, but I'm curious to see what everybody else thinks.
[0:56:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: What are the mica regulations exactly? Like, what exactly do... What are they...
[0:56:18] tsn @tsncrypto: I'm afraid to
[0:56:19] Voice H: screw it, mate.
[0:56:20] Kool @koolcryptovc: They're a
[0:56:21] Voice H: fucking nightmare. But... Yes.
[0:56:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: That doesn't help me. That doesn't help me. What what exactly is it? Like, what do they... What does everybody not come... Because I saw a BuyBiz shutdown, Binance, like, no... Like, some of these big monsters are not gonna be there. So I'm just kinda curious what exactly......
[0:56:39] Moni @monitalan: Wasn't... Isn't KYC part of it?
[0:56:42] Kool @koolcryptovc: I think
[0:56:42] Moni @monitalan: there's a different element. I don't I don't know them, Dave, but, obviously, a lot of these crypto companies decided
[0:56:49] Voice H: not to...... To do with KYC, but not always. You you can become compliant and and put it out there, but but that's what you want to do. I did.
[0:57:06] NatNat @Natnatx007: So I'm going through I'm going through a list. Right? And as part of the licensing and compliance sector, Mika or Micah, depending on how you wanna pronounce it. Right? They want... One thing on the list is minimum capital requirements, of €50,000, for advisory services, a €125,000 for custody exchanges, 150,000 for trading platforms, and €350,000 for ART issuance. Right? And they say... There's something called CASPS, crypto asset service providers. The... Those need to be form, done in a formal way, right, which is... Which includes exchanges, custodians, wallet providers. They all must obtain authorization from a national competent authority to operate in the in the EU. The third point that they that they mentioned when it comes to CAS, must comply with digital operation... Operational resilience act, so DORA, and TFR, which is transfer of funds regulation, along with client asset segregation, conflict of interest management, and ongoing supervisory oversight. So there's, like, a list of things that
[0:58:22] Dave @DCBK2LA: they can need.
[0:58:22] Voice H: Like that. So you've got three business. You've got to have a certain amount of money, and you've got to have compliance and infrastructure to do Yeah. AML... Well, better like a bank. So in The UK, if you want to run a company like that, you've got to do AML checks, FCA checks. And all your employees, every year, you've got to say, are they commercially afloat, are they not? And you've got to set up business. And if if you're not serious, you're not serious,
[0:59:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: which is pretty good, actually. I mean, I don't know about if it's serious or, like, were they able to... Like, I don't see how a Bybit would have given up, like, these... I I don't know. Maybe maybe it's just me, but I don't see how... Is it, like, a... Like, when you have to apply for these reg... Like, for these licenses and shit, like, how long did it take? What was the regulatory... Like, what were the blocks?
[0:59:25] Kool @koolcryptovc: You know what I mean?
[0:59:26] Voice H: There is no block if you made them. If... There is a box if you don't.
[0:59:31] NatNat @Natnatx007: And the the the blocks can differ... May differ by platform. Right? What... For example, if Bybit got through to a transaction but missed one, doesn't mean that the other companies had the same thing. Right? It all differs.
[0:59:45] Moni @monitalan: I also think you're right, Dave, from what I read. I just put it in the chat. But from what Greg told me, part of it is also the length of the process. So the... Some of these companies may be halfway through the process. Right? They may have not had everything by July 1. So you may see some of these companies come back. So I think there there was a lot. You can read the whole thing. It it it was a lot of requirements. Some of them... But I think some of them were already working on these. Right? So a
[1:00:16] Voice F: circle example. Right? I think I'm probably coming from a different view. So we we are coming in for crypto. I've I've come from the other side from my short term lender that charges, like, a thousand percent on a loan.
[1:00:38] Voice F: I think does need to be, like, a stranger to Jack's number. Comes from this community. It's like, short term loan to credit as a color to anybody who answer.
[1:00:52] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's happening, TSN? How many drinks have you had today? I can't understand the goddamn word you're saying. 5PM. Is it just me? Or 5PM.
[1:01:00] Voice F: Is TSN wasting your
[1:01:02] Dave @DCBK2LA: in face right now? What is going on right now, TS? And how drunk are you, bro? I'm trying I'm trying to debut. So if I say to you,
[1:01:13] Voice F: I'm gonna offer you a loan for a thousand percent. I'm
[1:01:17] Voice H: I'm gonna
[1:01:17] Voice F: be a a loan shark.
[1:01:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right.
[1:01:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: I think to you. So you've got to go... So that company that company that I've worked for offers you a process to go through
[1:01:35] Voice F: that to do that to do that loan.
[1:01:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: TSL, you're gonna be put on time out in two seconds. I love you, but you're gonna be... You're gonna...
[1:01:41] tsn @tsncrypto: Yeah. Do
[1:01:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: it. Yeah. Yeah. I'll I'll elaborate to you, but this is Yeah.
[1:01:46] Voice F: Seriously not coming off scale.
[1:01:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: Alright. Good. Good. Good. Good.
[1:01:52] tsn @tsncrypto: One thing I will say, though, related to this topic is that the smaller companies have more to gain by being compliant with whatever thing is. Like... So, like, if you're already the big player such as, like, the Binance, it's easier
[1:02:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: for
[1:02:09] tsn @tsncrypto: the smaller guys who want a foothold in a particular market, especially if you're... Let's say, you're you're, like, the number 30 exchange in a particular region, you're gonna want to go with it more than, you know, the big guys. So finance is just massive around the world, and everyone's trying to take, you know, their their lunch. So I think even OKX. Right? OKX put out a tweet. Basically, it was like shots at the whole industry. Like, hey. When the whole crypto exchange industry goes dark, guess what? Guess who's gonna be here? See you over on here. You know? I mean, it was... The way they put out that post, it was almost like, hey. Remember we exist, etcetera. So just just... I think the the smaller players... And that's with any industry, any kind of change, any regulation. Right? There's opportunities to be made, and you can gobble up market share or gain a foothold in particular market. That I think the smaller exchanges are gonna really jump on.
[1:03:01] Voice F: I think I'm gonna work for the FCA and shut them down. So it's okay. I don't know. This this is not good. So doing this sort of stuff is dangerous.
[1:03:15] Ryan @Rlad1776: Hey, TSN. You're breaking up. You might need to cycle through. So I just wanna know. Tash It is good. You know, great point. I guess we know now why the Winklevai shut... Closed up their EU operations. But here's the thing as it relates to that. And if we scale it back a bit and think about it from the business perspective, You are right, Taj, but there's the issue of if you're gonna set up shop there, it has to be set up as a completely separate operational unit, potentially even a separate company. Because we're not just talking about the crypto industry. We're talking about GDPR, which is the global data protection requirements, and it gets even more complicated. So the capital outlays and the expenditures that they're gonna need to create and, the the capital outlays and expenditures that they're going to need in order to create effectively a go to market and, you know, build out their their business and their network comes at a cost, and it will take time. So, you know, plus you're gonna have to deal with the CDBC's issue, which you know those seven witches in the EU are gonna get. You know, I don't know. I... Like, the level of requirements that they're applying here are, they they almost make it... They are... It almost seems like they're making it not, intentionally not friendly place to set up shop. So that's just my take on it after kinda glancing through it when I drop down. But you cannot commingle data. You know, they're gonna have to report separately. It... It's almost like setting up an entirely new version of your US self over there. Right? So, anyway, that's just food for thought.
[1:05:26] tsn @tsncrypto: You know, that that that actually is a great point. I just... One quick point before I... You pass it is the... You know, that's what Binance did with The US. Binance US is completely different company than the rest of Binance.
[1:05:40] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yes. But Binance is also the largest player, you know, frankly, platform in the world, to be quite honest, and they just literally print money. So for them, I'm not saying it's cheap or easy, but it's easier. When you're one of these... You know, on the come up, if you're managing your, you know, your funds correctly, every dollar matters. So that's where I can potentially see the problems. And I think only the big players will wind up participating there. Because if you're a small player and you wanna go to a market, like, the EU is gonna be the last on the list. You know? At least, like, just given the level of requirements and obligations you have to meet plus the the the data protection requirements, just from a legal standpoint and a regulatory standpoint, like, not only no, but hell no. They're gonna need to spend tens of millions of dollars in legal fees just to figure out how to set that operation up correctly so that they don't piss off or or run afoul, which results in, I'm sure, significant fines if they screw up even a little bit.
[1:07:02] Ryan @Rlad1776: But I I... Your your your thought process is is is well... Is spot on, though, Tash.
[1:07:12] Moni @monitalan: And I and I just wanna add that I think OKX was so smart. They were super aggressive weeks before anybody else to try to have people move over. I think they were brilliant in their marketing. And I think that this is a great opportunity for them to really grow in the region and hopefully stay compliant. But they were super super smart. Don't you agree?
[1:07:38] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh, okay. It's always been... Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah.
[1:07:42] tsn @tsncrypto: I was gonna say, I would agree for sure. Honestly, I... I've never used OKX. I haven't really thought about OKX. And pretty much everyone I know, Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, outside, and, like, Mexi and some other ones. But, like, I... Honestly, OKX has come into the conversation for a lot of people I know for the very first time. Like, we knew it existed, but no one... I don't think was really paying attention to it. And I I think it was a great... They they couldn't have paid for that marketing because look at us. We're we're on all all things crypto right now talking about OKX. When's the last time that ever happened? Right? So... Hey.
[1:08:19] Ryan @Rlad1776: No. I've been following OKX for a while. I don't use them, but I gotta tell you, like, the post they put out and the frequency and how they're aggressive in their digital marketing, like, they seem like a really smart crew over there.
[1:08:34] Moni @monitalan: I I do use them, by the way. So
[1:08:36] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, yeah. So I'm definitely gonna... I'm definitely going to check them out. The interesting one for me is what does Hyperliquid do? Right? Like, are they gonna go down this path? I think they jump right over the EU because they want The US market. That's just my opinion.
[1:08:57] Moni @monitalan: Did they not did they not align with... Are they not... Are they down now? Will they be down tomorrow in Europe?
[1:09:03] Ryan @Rlad1776: That I I I don't know. I mean, I've been... I... Well I'm not totally sure they met all the requirements. I don't know if it's actually come out just yet.
[1:09:17] Moni @monitalan: I'm reading a ton of posts, and this is... I've read several people say that people will move over to hyper liquid and that they're very bullish because they are
[1:09:32] Moni @monitalan: they are active. They do... I do think they're compliant. So I think hyper liquid is one of the ones that will win.
[1:09:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: I agree. I agree. But speaking of of OKX guys, I don't know if you guys saw this, but OKX... And this is perfect for for Brad or anyone that's big on on AI agents. They want AI agents to hire and pay each other. Right? So they're launching a marketplace where AI agents can hire one another, settle payments autonomously, and build portable on chain reputation. So as of today, the marketplace opened to developers on Tuesday following a closed beta involving 50 early AI service providers. The marketplace builds on technology OKS... OKX previously developed to let AI agents hold digital wallets, make payments use it... Using stables, and and establish persistent identities. I think, okay. Yes. Along with the the polls that they did when when when Mika came up with with the the list of crypto firms that will no longer be compliant with the... That they partnered with. They partnered with someone big, and this... And the the token went crazy. I cannot remember. I forget which one they partnered with. But those two things along with them opening up this marketplace for EIKX.
[1:11:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: And ICE, I think it was.
[1:11:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: There you go.
[1:11:09] Moni @monitalan: That was Yep. Yep. Yes. The New York Stock Exchange. Right.
[1:11:13] NatNat @Natnatx007: Correct. Look at they're
[1:11:14] Moni @monitalan: paying attention even though he's
[1:11:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: doing zero. Paying attention.
[1:11:18] Ryan @Rlad1776: So so so the agents are paying each other in this ICE token. Is that it?
[1:11:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: What? I just...
[1:11:26] Moni @monitalan: No. No. No. No.
[1:11:27] Ryan @Rlad1776: What are talking about?
[1:11:28] Moni @monitalan: They're ICE token. No. I'm...
[1:11:30] Ryan @Rlad1776: I I I... You're you're doing multitasking, Dave, and I... I'm sorry. My old ears, didn't understand what you said.
[1:11:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: But if you'd like to send me Ansem token, I'm open to it. That's fine also. That's why I can pay everybody because Ansem actually has value as opposed to Davebucks, which don't have too much value right now. So... Yeah.
[1:12:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So that along with the news that they just recently launched, they want AI agents to hire and pay each other. I believe this will be done in form of a stable stablecoin.
[1:12:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Not ICE token.
[1:12:22] Moni @monitalan: I put it up there so you can read it
[1:12:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: so
[1:12:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: you can see the market. By
[1:12:25] Ryan @Rlad1776: the way, I just launched ICE token on PumpFun.
[1:12:28] Dave @DCBK2LA: I put $500 and liquidity in it.
[1:12:30] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, it only takes two minutes.
[1:12:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, The fact that the CA is not in the group chat is ridiculous. This is why you get kicked down, and this is why I get mad at you. You understand? Say we will not be kicking down. I should kick him down.
[1:12:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: This deserves to
[1:12:43] Dave @DCBK2LA: be kicked.
[1:12:44] Ryan @Rlad1776: There's certain things that I that I can give you guys a heads up on, and there's other things I just have to react in the moment. And, you know, the fact that you made fun of me on IceHook, and I said, fuck it. I'm gonna launch it.
[1:12:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well That's a fine, though, Ryan.
[1:12:57] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yes. It is a find, but Hibara is is very cheap right now. So, actually, I may start cursing more. Sorry, Nat. I love you. I got a big bag too.
[1:13:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. But,
[1:13:06] Ryan @Rlad1776: Dave, you didn't let me finish. I did siphon off about half a million tokens just for you. But now that you made fun of me, I'm not giving them to you.
[1:13:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Blah blah blah blah blah blah
[1:13:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: This bromance is is so beautiful.
[1:13:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: Disrespectful. It's it's... You know? And and and, like, I love him. Excuse me?
[1:13:26] Voice F: No. It's disrespectful.
[1:13:27] Ryan @Rlad1776: It's like... I feel like you
[1:13:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: something, old man.
[1:13:30] Ryan @Rlad1776: I feel like we have a bromance in the future. When I... Next time I come up New York, I'm taking you on a date. That's it.
[1:13:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm gonna
[1:13:37] Moni @monitalan: call you second, Bryce,
[1:13:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: and only Dave knows what I mean with that.
[1:13:45] Ryan @Rlad1776: Monie, did you just make fun of me too? Because you know who's all
[1:13:48] Dave @DCBK2LA: my listeners I should've just made a Love Island reference.
[1:13:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: It was a Love Island romance reference.
[1:13:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Love Island reference. Moni, who's winning Love Island? Who do we say?
[1:13:57] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, that is a great show, by the way.
[1:13:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Trinity and Bryce?
[1:13:59] Moni @monitalan: No. It's gonna be Carl and Anaya. Carl and Anaya. Because people don't like the Bryce romance with Zach. That's gonna push him down, I think. Zach. Because America
[1:14:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: is, like, kinda horrible.
[1:14:14] Moni @monitalan: Natasha. Natasha and and I... No. Sorry, Matt. They'll be top three, but they're not.
[1:14:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh. Yeah. I have not yet whole... Any of these people on.
[1:14:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, I got Casper Love Island, but I turned it down. I was like, you know what? I'm not gonna do this.
[1:14:30] Ryan @Rlad1776: Hey. Casper's been running lately. Who? Which one? Casper's been running a little lately. That
[1:14:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: was a quick transition. Alright.
[1:14:38] Ryan @Rlad1776: That's good. Said Casper, didn't you?
[1:14:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: No. Is he... You're getting old. Somebody... Like, I don't know what's going on. Maybe you need
[1:14:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: to hear me. Casper? No. He does not mean it. Maybe you
[1:14:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't say anything. What's saying?
[1:14:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: Do you know what
[1:14:54] Ryan @Rlad1776: Dave, I have degenerative hearing loss plus, yes, I am old.
[1:14:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: I'm 52.
[1:14:58] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. Could tell, bro. But I still push two fifty and and squat three three fifteen. So
[1:15:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know? So that's that's what I'm doing. I'm actually on okx.ai. This site looks very, very interesting. I know. It has, like, this... I don't even know how to say it, but very interesting look. If you guys go on the website... Have you guys seen ET? I'm going down.
[1:15:24] Kool @koolcryptovc: Do you what?
[1:15:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: Have you guys seen ET?
[1:15:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: ET? Like ET ET phone homes? Yes. Okay.
[1:15:33] NatNat @Natnatx007: They have... Yeah. So on, okx.ai, in the background, there's a there's a certain images. There are a few images, and one in particular is, like, the finger... The the index finger touching each other. So that's that's something that came to mind because I know it's easy eat them.
[1:15:48] Ryan @Rlad1776: You're ridiculous. You are crazy.
[1:15:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: I did also wanna take this moment to send my condolences to my Dutch friends. No hard feelings, AMG. I hope you're good. I hope we're still good. You know? Yeah. Just Morocco was better. Morocco was better. But AMG still might be able to have the last laugh because we are playing Brazil, and I know he is half piece part Brazilian. So AMG, listen. The Dutch are out, but maybe you got a shot with Brazil. You know what I'm saying? But no hard feelings, my boy. No hard feelings. You might wanna change your heart from an orange one to either a green one from Brazil or a red one from Morocco. So just heads up. But in solidarity... Yeah. I mean, actually, not solidarity. Red Heart's from Morocco. You
[1:16:37] Ryan @Rlad1776: should... You guys just should name this... Rename the space to all things Morocco. Like, there's
[1:16:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: lot of people going on. All things senile old people. You know what I mean? Or I've
[1:16:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: been trying to get through all
[1:16:48] Moni @monitalan: things Love Island. I just
[1:16:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: keep getting All things Love Island. Exactly. All things Love Island.
[1:16:54] Moni @monitalan: Would get full, by the way.
[1:16:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'll take
[1:16:55] Dave @DCBK2LA: it was came up wasted. I don't know what TSN was saying. We gotta close the space then. That's it. I don't know if you have any more stories
[1:17:02] Ryan @Rlad1776: about I actually have a serious question before we would do that for you, Dave. Yeah. Yeah. Since you're
[1:17:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: What's up,
[1:17:07] Ryan @Rlad1776: bro? AI.
[1:17:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. What's up, bro?
[1:17:12] Ryan @Rlad1776: Either you Oh. Oh. Oh.
[1:17:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're you're breaking up. Alright. You're breaking up. Okay.
[1:17:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Go ahead. Go ahead, Ryan.
[1:17:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: Can you hear me?
[1:17:23] NatNat @Natnatx007: So can I get through this? Oh, yes. Yes. Can I get through the o? The OKR real quick?
[1:17:28] Ryan @Rlad1776: Go ahead. Do your thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Go. Go.
[1:17:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. And and then I'll I'll pass it back around. So on the website, we'll finish off with this. What I what I really like is that it's it's broken off into, like, three different sections. Right? It's broken off into users, agent service providers, and and, yeah, evaluators. So you can become a user. Becoming a user would need to post a task or pick an AI agent yourself. Agent service provider will be to list your agent skills and give it the job that you want. Right? And then on Evaluator, you can stake OKB and use... It gives you voting rights, which is actually very interesting. You can get paid from from staking as well. So I think it's gonna be very interesting to see how that plays out. If you guys have not been on okx.ai, I suggest you guys take a look because what OKX is doing, I think, is actually very interesting. And if you're one that's into AI agents or creating your own agent, I think this is definitely something you wanna look at. Now I am done. Ryan, go ahead.
[1:18:28] Ryan @Rlad1776: No. No. No. That was great. I'm sorry, Nat. I I I actually can't hear, and I don't know why, but, so I apologize if I'm interrupting. I apologize if I'm interrupting or causing chaos on the show. It's not my intention.
[1:18:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. You are you are not. David's the one causing, like, all the chaos. You can just blame him. You're doing great, Ron.
[1:18:48] Ryan @Rlad1776: Okay. Well, I'm trying to re... Know, you I'm trying to fill in for Landy where... And and not make it so...
[1:18:56] Ryan @Rlad1776: You know, just get out there and just talk for hours and take up all the time. No. I love Landy. No. I do have a question because, like, I'm doing some research into how so many of these companies are getting wrecked on using AI and realizing within three to six months that all the people they fired... Because they thought AI was gonna give them a long term ROI.
[1:19:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: They're hiring them back.
[1:19:23] Ryan @Rlad1776: They're hiring them back, and the ROI blows up within, like, you know, three or four months. And and what what is it... What is... Like, I think I understand it, but because you guys understand you were Brad or or, you know, Taj is up here. Actually, Mona, you too. What is what is causing the high cost on the token side? Like, what it... If you can just nut it down for me, like, in simple old man terms. Like, what what do you think it is?
[1:19:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's a great question. I think Monica has her hand up. Monica, go for it.
[1:20:02] Moni @monitalan: I think mostly... And, Brad, you should jump in here if you can. But mostly, it's just using so much using so much tokens for for everything that they're doing with AI. Right? So I think one of the things that I think Landy has talked a lot about is companies and many businesses are bringing in people or not bringing in people to help guide them through the use of AI. And they're not they're they're using it for everything. Right? So the token use is very high. And then you had companies like... I think both Meta and somebody else actually have competitions. They have leaderboards showing how many, you know, top people using the token because they thought, oh, they're using AI so much that they're... Are top performers when they were using the token to be on the leaderboard and get rewarded for it. Right? And so a lot of it has to do with just using AI and using the tokens for pretty much doing everything that they wanted to do with the platform, not realizing it would be more expensive than having humans. Does that answer your question?
[1:21:14] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. It does. And and so it's it's... They are going after low hanging fruit, to solve low hanging issues to prove the viability of the technology. But the reality is is, you know, when you when you, when you run your when you run your... Our return on investment model on low hanging fruit tasks, the cost of the token use very quickly overtakes the return that you're getting. Right? So just think of some, you know, basic administrative task. Right? You might have seven hands touch a piece of paper or or digital document, and they're coming in. They're saying, hey. We can automate that. Whereas the people that were touching that or interfacing with it were 70... You know, 50 to $70,000 employees as opposed to very complex, high paying problems and applying the the token used to that. Yeah. It's... I'm just talking out loud here because this is the way I kinda talk through things and help myself understand. Because I am getting a lot more questions on it in my professional life. And, you know, I'm a little nervous not nervous, but I'm a little, hesitant to suggest using AI for those low hanging fruit tasks rather than just kinda critical path it and say, oh, no. You can do this better manually. Because if you use AI for this, ultimately, your ROI breaks down very quickly.
[1:22:56] Moni @monitalan: I think the other part that I found... Like, I've worked with two companies where they didn't organize themselves effectively to use AI. So they didn't prepare the the data. They didn't have everything in a way that would allow them to to really win using AI. And so they spent a lot of time, resources, and tokens because they didn't have everything set up. And this is where the 70, 80,000 employ... Your your employee mid mid management, even a lower level employee can help you get... All that organized and help you train the model in a way that then they can even keep the job and you can manage cost. And... They're not looking at it that way. I think people just jumped in.
[1:23:40] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. And and that probably
[1:23:41] Moni @monitalan: to use it
[1:23:42] tsn @tsncrypto: on that.
[1:23:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: And you're exactly right, Moni. Like, that is another issue that I consistently run up against because it's it's... And it goes back. It's as old as time, like, in, garbage out. Right? I mean, some of the things that my prospects and customers are thinking about using AI for... Like, there's data in databases, various databases. There's data that exist in people's heads. There's data that's in spreadsheets. There's data that literally are sitting in Post it notes in people's cubicles. Like, if you... When you get to this stage, enter this, and it's not entered anywhere other than on a Post it note. Right? So if the cleaning lady happens to... Or cleaning guy happens to suck that post it note up, you know, one night while they're cleaning your cubicle, you're screwed. So... Yeah. And, you know, that that is one issue. Like, I don't know how you ever get to perfectly clean data so that these models can work properly.
[1:24:45] Ryan @Rlad1776: Okay. Yeah. No. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I don't know if anybody else wants to jump in, but this is helpful because it's happening, more and more frequently. And I like to be able to, make sure that my clients are... And prospects are, that I give them the truth and that they're making their decisions eyes wide open. So thank you.
[1:25:08] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think this this all, is a part of that AI learning curve. Right? I think a lot of companies underestimated, how much it'll cost to keep the... These AI, running or how much it'll cost to train the AIs because you have... You do have to train the agents. Right? You have to give it a task. You have to train it, and those things can actually become very expensive. So I think they they figured out that at some point, depending on what the task is or what it is trying to achieve with their business, it might be cheaper as well to just bring... To hire in actual people, in my opinion.
[1:25:43] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. And I also think that
[1:25:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: we I think the other...
[1:25:45] Moni @monitalan: Oh, sorry.
[1:25:46] Ryan @Rlad1776: No. Go go, Moni. I don't wanna interrupt. Go.
[1:25:49] Moni @monitalan: I think the other part that I'm seeing is that people don't realize that they may already have the resources or the platform or the AI tools that they need. And because they hear everybody talking about cloud or OpenAI, they're like, oh, I'm gonna go use that and restart the process when... If they have Google. Google has amazing AI tools through Gemini, automatization. You can do gems. You can do a lot of stuff, but people don't realize it because they only are hearing Cloud and OpenAI. So I think what, like, what we recommend client... Like, our clients do first is let's do an audit. Let's talk to... What is your ultimate goal? And not, like... Let's not start from, oh, let me get the the shiny new thing or let me get... Right. The other thing I see is people spending all this money on tools that they're not using because it's, everybody's telling them
[1:26:39] NatNat @Natnatx007: to get this other tool.
[1:26:41] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. Like, you you couldn't be more spot on. Right? Like, we use we use Salesforce for everything, sales and operations related, even as far as, like, auto generating proposals and tracking service tickets. Like... And, you know, the other day, CEO gave me a call. He's... Or CTO gave me a call. He's like, hey. We just got... We just sat through this four hour meeting on Claude, and we're thinking about bringing it in. And I'm like, okay. Why... Okay. You guys have your meetings. Enjoy... You know, waste your days however you want. You should've gave me a call because everything you're saying to me right now is built into Salesforce. Like... And we don't have to spend any more money. I mean, maybe some consulting dollars, but what the hell are you guys doing? Like, if you if you wanna waste money, like, give me a raise. And, you know, and I got a good relationship, so they kinda chuckled. And but, like, there are... You're absolutely right. Like, do the internal audit to figure out what you have because there's a lot of these native platforms that they already have that are... Like, these companies are not gonna go silently into the night. You know? Salesforce is not going away, you know, with their hat in their hand weeping. Like, they they... They're building shit into their platform that will ultimately compete with what Claude or OpenAI, and and even the open source models, you have to custom build. Right? So we're going... It's almost like we're going backwards, right, in some ways. Custom built versus use the native tools that are available to you because you're already paying for them.
[1:28:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's actually a really great point. Really great point. It's gonna be very interesting to see how it all plays out. I don't know if you guys saw what... I believe it was Dave Chappelle, in terms of his stance on on AI and what he thinks of it. But this is in terms of, like, individual use versus, AI being tied to a business or AI being tied to a a corporation. In terms of AI being tied to individual use, I believe it was Dave Dave Chappelle that said, thinking is for poor people because AI will do the thinking for you, which which makes me believe what you said, was... I believe it was, like, a few months ago with AI. The more you use AI, like, on a bit individual basis, it, like, makes you makes you, like, not smart. Like... So even for individual use, it does have its cons as well.
[1:29:24] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. No. The starving... The study came out of the Harvard Medical Review, and they they reviewed, like, young young age, male and female, over a period of two years, and they also evaluated a a group that was not using AI. And what they found was, like, the frontal cortex lobe, which is really used for critical thinking, I believe I'm saying that right. I I may be wrong on the the brain part, but you get the point, actually decreased by, like, seven percent in the folks that used... In the young kids that used AI. Like... So it's literally making you stupid... Stupider is the point.
[1:30:16] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. We can't... You know, this... Our world cannot afford stupider.
[1:30:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: We absolutely cannot. I mean, there's a thing. Right? Common sense isn't isn't as common as you think. Right? Imagine not having common sense and not being as smart and think it's gonna make the world a very interesting place if we let AI do a thinking for us.
[1:30:37] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. You weren't on the mac... I don't think you're on the macrospace, but your point brought this up. She's like, he asked he asked ChatGPT how many days of the week and... Or have a d in it, and ChatGPT came back with two. And he's like, no. He goes, but what about this day? And it's like, oh, yeah. I missed that one. Like, literally, he went through it, and he goes, I'm sorry. Like... Or the came back and said, I'm sorry. And the point... DearPoint was making was, like, you got these young kids that are using this stuff for their homework or their tests or their, papers in college, and it's all hallucination. So if you don't know advanced level calculus, right, you're getting your answers, and you don't know whether it's right or wrong. So, of course, me, I'm like, yeah. That makes sense. You gotta put the work in. So I called my youngest, you know, Aiden, and he's 22. He's a junior... Or senior now. And I said, dude, don't lie to me. You use AI for your homework and your papers and all this other stuff. And he goes, of course, dad. What do you... I mean, what? Like, you're not stupid. You know I do. So I appreciated him being honest with me. And then he said, but if you're not studying, how do you know if the work's correct? He goes, well, dad, one day at the frat house, we had that exact question. And so we played beer pong, and whoever lost had to figure out which which AI agent the teacher was using to create our papers. Because we figure if we use the same AI agent to create our papers, it's... And if it's hallucinating or if it's wrong when he runs it or he or she runs it through that AI agent, it's all gonna match up. And I'm like, oh, man. To be young. Like... And it made perfect sense. Like, we give these young kids so little credit, but the... Like, they are so smart. Like, they figure all this shit out over a bunch of beers, and they're like, okay. Beer pong, whoever loses gotta gotta go to the teacher and figure out which AI agent they're using. I swear to god. I'm not even lying. It was the funniest conversation I've had in a while.
[1:32:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's that's so funny. But I think it it all... And we'll say this real quick, and then and then we'll have to show. But I think it all, comes down to knowing that we are not at, I believe it's ASI just yet. Because I think if we were at the ASI part in, AI, I think this wouldn't be an issue.
[1:33:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: But with that being said, guys, thank you so much for tuning in today. We covered an absolute bunch of stuff today. All of... We touched on AI. We touched on OKS. We touched on the be... Media compliant. We spoke about football. We give our predictions. TSN, whenever you can, you can send it to me in the DM. I'll make a post about this and tag you guys in in terms of who predicted, which two teams towards the end, and we will see how it plays out. With that being said, guys, thank you guys so much for coming in tonight. I believe Dave will be posting tomorrow, so we will catch you guys tomorrow, 05:30PM EST. Have a good one, guys.
[1:33:52] Moni @monitalan: Thank you, everybody. Bye.
