Trump Accounts breakdown

AIBTCDeFiETHEquitiesGeopoliticsGuests / AMAsHYPE / Hyperliquid

The space opened with technical difficulties and banter about storms, app crashes, and notifications from the GMPM account. The conversation quickly turned to Ethereum's relevance, with speakers noting that 87% of stablecoin supply still resides on the chain, making it critical financial infrastructure despite its challenges and Layer 2 cannibalization. Discussion covered institutional interest, liquidity, proof-of-stake transition issues, and long-term survival prospects. The group then dove deep into Trump Accounts, exploring their mechanics, tax advantages, employer matching potential, interaction with 529 plans and Roth IRAs, and massive long-term compounding benefits, especially for children born between 2025-2028. Additional topics included education reform, paid training programs modeled after military and defense contracting, GI Bill nuances, and a lively segment on Panini digital collectible NFTs tied to the World Cup, with speakers sharing recent purchases and long-term value perspectives. All of this is discussion, not financial advice.

[0:01:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: Sorry, guys. I have no idea what just happened. My entire app just shut down.
[0:01:34] Voice F: Can you guys hear me? We can. That was... Do you have storms there in DC or
[0:01:40] NatNat @Natnatx007: where where you are? Yeah. It's get... It's getting it's getting a little cloudy.
[0:01:46] Moni @monitalan: Yeah. So there's bad storm somewhere in some places. Anyway...
[0:01:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: Man, and we had a full space too. Know.
[0:01:56] NatNat @Natnatx007: And, Landy, you were on a roll. Landy was on a roll. Landy, can you hear us?
[0:02:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah.
[0:02:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. You're... You were stating some really good points. I am so sorry, guys. I have no idea what happened. My entire app is shut down, and it's definitely David's fault for sure.
[0:02:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: I blame Dave. Yeah.
[0:02:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Let's see if we can get him back up. And also Ryan, my my thing is really slow, but, guys, I apologize in advance. And I know, Bit of Wealth had some, takes he wanted to give as well with some of the points that you were mentioning, Landy, and I think it had to do with your, BTC levels. Oh, there's Dave.
[0:02:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: Dave, as soon as you accepted the cohost invite.
[0:02:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: I knew y'all were gonna do it to me. I knew y'all were gonna do me, Dave.
[0:02:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: Me me
[0:02:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: accepting a cohost invite. Right? And none of this woulda happened if all of you guys were just stuck to your regular day. Okay? None of it none of it woulda happened, but, no, you have to shuffle things around at the last minute.
[0:03:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: Exactly. Exactly.
[0:03:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: Participate in the leaving Dave. That is why
[0:03:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: we're leaving.
[0:03:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: When did this happen?
[0:03:16] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wanna thank Landy and Ryan for putting me to sleep on the ride back from the doctor's... I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
[0:03:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Wow. Yeah.
[0:03:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Listen. Wow. Ryan Ryan bought himself a little leeway with the whole tornado thing because, like, you heard him visibly distracted, and it's just like, spit it out, bro. Just spit it out. But I
[0:03:32] Ryan @Rlad1776: just keep waiting for tornado. It was literally, like like, the wind ripped to, like, 55 miles an hour, and it got freezing cold, like, crazy.
[0:03:41] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, weather is... It's been raining here for literally, like, fourteen hours straight, like, nonstop touring in Brooklyn. Like, it's been... And we had, like, a sandstorm the other day by the beach here. Like, the winds are are nuts.
[0:03:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's because you elected a communist mayor.
[0:03:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: For sure. That's definitely, definitely it. Mother major was saying, f this commie mayor for sure. Real quick, I just wanna give a shout out to Moni for coming on this morning, GMPM, and talking Love Island with me. It was just like we were Gossip Girls. It was so much fun.
[0:04:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: It was so much fun. Yeah.
[0:04:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But good times. Good times. Good times. And I got some good clips of Monty too, so it's... They get... They're gonna be good. Gonna be good.
[0:04:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: Hey, Dave. Quick question there, man. Have a follow g n p m, and, like, I got notifications turned on. Like, I don't I don't seem to be getting... And I I I don't know if it's on my end or if it's the app.
[0:04:35] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. It's it's mine too. I don't get notification with g
[0:04:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: I don't I don't understand. Really? You you know me, man. Like, I'll I'll... I like and refollow everything, but, like, I'm not getting Really?
[0:04:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't know that. No shit. But you get them from ATC and everybody else's account, but just not GMP. M p
[0:04:52] Ryan @Rlad1776: Well, I only get some of them from ATC. So, again, maybe it's... I don't know, dude. Like, it's weird.
[0:05:00] Dave @DCBK2LA: So you don't know when we're live, essentially? Like, it doesn't seem Yeah. No. I don't. Yeah. You see, that's an area that I'm not familiar with because I have all x notifications turned off. Like, I get zero. I just... Like, I'm on the app all the time, so, like, I have no notifications on. But interesting. Interesting. Nat, you said you too?
[0:05:19] NatNat @Natnatx007: Don't get notifications from g m at all. I have to go into the g m p m page so I can see what's going on. Otherwise, I wouldn't know. Yeah.
[0:05:29] Ryan @Rlad1776: And the only thing I get is is what you put in the ATC group. Right? So Right. I didn't see your post about, hey. You need some help, you know, pushing this out or or or sending out retweets or whatever. Like, I didn't see that until late.
[0:05:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. No. No. I appreciate it. Yeah. No. And I know you retweet everything. So you got... Long how are you guys gonna wait to actually come to the show and actually participate, like, and say what's up? You know? Are you waiting for the Love Island talk? That that was today, FYI. Ryan, I know you're a big Love Island
[0:05:59] Moni @monitalan: We may we may have another episode where we talk about.
[0:06:03] NatNat @Natnatx007: Thanks, man.
[0:06:03] Dave @DCBK2LA: We may have... It's all... We may have an own Love Island episode.
[0:06:08] Ryan @Rlad1776: No. I am a Love Island boycotter. I only watch my six hundred pound life and ninety day fiance. What? Because that is My six hundred pound life.
[0:06:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: I only watch the real thing.
[0:06:18] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, and doctor Pimple Popper. I I do watch doctor Pimple Popper with my wife.
[0:06:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: So, Ray, here's my... Here's a here's a funny story. Ready for this? I wake up this morning. I I went to sleep super late last night. I slept in a little bit today. It's, 08:30 in the morning. My mom comes down to my apartment She goes, Dave, I need your help. She throws me a booklet. I'm literally just waking up. She goes, can you do me a favor? Can you push this needle inside me? And I'm like, I'm sorry. What? Mhmm. So my mom's doing whole, like, Mounjaro, whatever, like, Ozempic shit or whatever. And I'm like, you want me, someone who literally is just waking up, to literally stick you with a needle, like, in your in your thigh? She's like, yeah. I'm like, bye. Literally, 08:00 in the morning, Mounjaro shot, go on with your day. You gotta love my mom's. You gotta love immigrant parents. Zero filter. Bless their hearts.
[0:07:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. And you know what? Speaking of immigrant parent... I don't know if it... If this happened in your household as well, David and and Monica.
[0:07:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Probably did.
[0:07:17] NatNat @Natnatx007: But the important documents underneath the mattress...
[0:07:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. It... For me... For us, it wasn't underneath the mattress. It was in the closet in, like, a satchel, like, red leather satchel bag. You know?
[0:07:29] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh my god. That's me right now. No way.
[0:07:31] Dave @DCBK2LA: Oh my god. You're your mother. Because, like, back in the day, it was like, dad, can I have, like, $20 or whatever? And she's like, yeah. But you never, like... He wouldn't keep it out. It's, like, in the secret spot, bro. It's literally in your closet on the second shelf in, like, a red leather satchel from 1971, bro.
[0:07:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: So the reason why it's red, at least for me, right, in case of an emergency, you won't miss it. It's, like, bright red in the middle of a closet. Right? So in case of an emergency, you just grab it and go, all of the important documents are in there. I'm checking.
[0:07:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: And you got, I mean, you got your go back. Let me guess your passports and your Social Security card are in
[0:08:02] NatNat @Natnatx007: there too. Right? Gonna talk about it, Dave. Okay? We... I think we should. Yeah.
[0:08:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Yeah.
[0:08:07] Dave @DCBK2LA: It in the bank like normal people.
[0:08:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: Really? You can
[0:08:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: say just said put it in the bank. That's crazy.
[0:08:12] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. Right? Crazy.
[0:08:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did you guys talk about the Ethereum... Sorry. Didn't mean to cut off. Did you guys talk about the Ethereum story yet?
[0:08:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: No. We were waiting... Yeah. We we we are waiting for you because I have no idea how you wanna run it. So we're talking about the World Cup. We spoke about what Trump, what Trump stated earlier today in terms of, him making the call to FIFA and in terms of what he thinks of the market. He's really bullish markets, and I think landing also brought up some important points. But we're ready to dive into the Ethereum story when you're ready.
[0:08:40] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Trump Trump was funny where he was like, you guys shorten the market. These idiots, they deserve everything they get. It's like, goddamn. He's like, these... They're gonna be poor. And then I saw somebody comment, and it's like, you can't short the market if you're poor. It's like, oh, right. Got it. You know, I... So it was more general question. Right? Like, because I was just scrolling through a bunch of different news stories, headlines, or whatever over the weekend, and I come across this thing. It's just like, obviously, we talk about Ethereum, like, dying... It seems like it's dying to slow death. But, like, I came across this headline. I forgot if it's Cointelegraph or whatever. But when I saw the number, right, like, state... 87% of total stablecoin supply is on Ethereum. Like, that is a massive, massive number. And what is the one thing that we've literally been harping out here that's, like, the growth accelerator, like, the the lighter fluid for everything is stablecoins. So I just kinda wanted to pose the question to, like, all of us here. If that is the case, how is it possible that Ethereum is not considered, like, insanely important financial infrastructure at this point if 87% of, like like, overall freaking stablecoin supply sit... Sits on the chain. Like, those two things don't make sense in my brain. Can somebody help me make it make sense? Or what do you guys think?
[0:10:00] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. I personally don't think Ethereum is that. I think it plays a very important role when it comes to crypto in general. Right? Because you have what you said, right, stablecoins, but also contract. Remember, Ethereum... If I'm remembering correctly, many, many years ago with Ethereum, it was one of the first chains in which you can launch your own token and do, certain things on it, right, in terms of, like, the the contractual issuance. So I I think if Ethereum plays an important role, obviously, I think the Bitcoin puppet might disagree because it's... Well, beneath the... It's just, like, all you need is Bitcoin.
[0:10:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Mhmm. So every
[0:10:33] Landy @CryptoLandy: Every... Okay. Okay. Okay.
[0:10:35] Ryan @Rlad1776: Alright. Alright. Let me let me Real quick.
[0:10:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: Alright. Ethereum is not dead. It's just taking a dirt nap. Okay? That's all. It's it's just a little dirt nap. It'll rise from the dead again, and it'll zombie itself around going stable coins, eat grains, and then it'll pause all your transactions and get you censored out of different, you know, different philanthropic ventures that you might be trying to embark on, like freedom of speech related things or, you know, maybe you're funding terrorism or something like that. You know?
[0:11:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: Wow, Landy.
[0:11:11] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's not gonna go and it's not going anywhere. It is there so that you can go and buy the state sponsored stablecoins that are on the way in the future. I mean, look, OpenUSD or OUSD or whatever the hell they wanna call it, and then you've got, you know, Tether and Circle, and you've got all these companies, you know, JPMorgan. Look. When they... When JPMorgan's base contract went to the chain, it wasn't just a base. It was both Ethereum layer one and base chain. That's where those contracts live for the the actual institutional side of things for those swaps, right, for their JPMD token. Right? The... It's not... These are not... It's not gonna go anywhere. Institutions are interested in Ethereum. You're 100% correct that it's all about the liquidity that is on Ethereum, and it is the base case that you would want to model your EVM compatible chain off of anyway. So you need Ethereum to be there to be EVM compatible for things like Hyperliquid because you need to bridge over all that liquidity anyway. So... Yeah. No. It's not going anywhere. It's gonna be fine. Yeah. So it's just it's just a dumpster fire right now.
[0:12:29] Ryan @Rlad1776: That's all. Liquidity and it's everybody else going to school on them because it's Look.
[0:12:35] Landy @CryptoLandy: They they they did this to themselves, and this was well known with the move of proof of work to proof of stake and the model that they wanted to use with building a layer cake. Because it rhymes, I said it's not gonna work anytime. Right? And you're gonna cannibalize all of the transactions off of layer one to all of these different layers when you could just do it right here on layer one. But the fees were too good not to take those in and then double up by supporting layer one and a layer two at the time. So there's a lot of greed, and now that has come back... It's come home to roost. And, honestly, they they... They'll work through it. They'll figure something out.
[0:13:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: But, dude, like, when Tom Lee owns 4% and, like, the Ethereum Foundation now owns less than point 1% of the supply, I get it. It's still making him 210,000,000 a year, whatever, right, like, generating revenue. But, like, you're literally 10,000,000,000 in the hole. Who gives a shit about 200,000,000 at this point? Like, what what is the road? Yeah.
[0:13:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: But here's the thing. It's like, that's... This is all relative. As long... All he has to do is survive. It's the same thing with with strategy. You gotta do is survive, and then no one's gonna remember that you were ever in the hole. No one's gonna care.
[0:13:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: Sailors selling Bitcoin now too, this motherfucker.
[0:13:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: But he he sold... Everybody's acting like he didn't sell last cycle. Give me a break. What did... This whole narrative around him, it's like about Michael Seller? Yeah. Michael Seller? Michael Seller. Yeah. Michael Seller and
[0:14:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Michael Seller. Look. Wait.
[0:14:09] Landy @CryptoLandy: No. I... I'm not I'm not down with the whole, like... Look. Some of some of these treasury companies will fail. Am I am I of the opinion that Tom Lee should have stuck with Bitcoin? Yes. But watch him transition to Bitcoin and diversify that company when there is real yield product for Bitcoin that is on chain. Watch him do it. Watch him do some sort of Bitcoin wrapped thing that he pulls Bitcoin into his treasury with that's paying a dividend of some sort.
[0:14:37] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's brought me a lot Hey, guys. I have breaking news. I have breaking news right now. I'm reading this tweet verbatim, and then I'm coming right to you, Monie. The tweet reads, just landed from the airplane. Send me your Solana address. Sending out SBTV to some of my followers right now. Hold. Don't sell. Let's build up. Soulja Boy TV market cap, $24,000. Guys, get involved. Don't say that we don't bring you alpha. This has to be Soulja Boy's maybe thirteenth or fourteenth token, I would probably say at this point. And he's literally posting a 24 k market cap in the first
[0:15:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: It's not 24 k right now. That's why it's a screenshot, sir.
[0:15:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Okay. Exactly. Somebody lit... The first comment is, ain't nobody fucking with this fam. Ain't nobody fucking with this gang. Like, I just landed guys. Like, we're good. Everything's... You would think you had, like, a... You know? Like, don't worry. The liquidity pool's still there. 50 mil market cap, 24,000 doll... Like,
[0:15:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: my god. The money. It's all great. It's all good until he rubs it. Then it's... He was hacked.
[0:15:42] Dave @DCBK2LA: Tell him. Thanks for
[0:15:45] Ryan @Rlad1776: this. So can I just point out that my boys taught me how to do the soldier boy dance, and I know how to
[0:15:50] Dave @DCBK2LA: do that? Bro, film that. So I will retweet the hell out of that. Oh, yeah. Like, superman now? Is that
[0:15:56] Ryan @Rlad1776: what you're
[0:15:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Superman now. I'm gonna come to you in a second. You stay right there. Keep that warm point in your head.
[0:16:03] Moni @monitalan: Going back to the your own conversation, I just wanted to share. I... The post that I put up there, Arbitrum, it's only been five days since Robinhood Chain is off to a strong start with 6,000,000 in transactions. I think it goes to your point, David. But, Dave, when I saw your post, I thought you were talking about Vitalik's, like, new road map. And I was like, I don't even have time right now to read it. I don't know if anybody has had time to read it, but he did share this weekend a new road road map for Ethereum.
[0:16:34] Dave @DCBK2LA: I never understand what Vitalik's saying half the time. But also, Moni, I don't know if you guys saw my tweet last night. I literally tweeted at AfroMan. You guys remember AfroMan? Because I got...
[0:16:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yes. I
[0:16:46] Landy @CryptoLandy: understand that
[0:16:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: too. Yeah. I'm gonna I'm gonna tie this to you if this is gonna make sense in a second. That's not a hella random. But... So Tater has now officially integrated Robinhood chain, and they're one of the first. Right? Like... And you guys know how anytime there's a new chain, it's just like, let's launch the shittiest of shitcoins, meme coins, like, in NFTs. Like, let's go. We wanna be the first on Robinhood chain. So I think ninjas of... Like, he sees what BankerBot did, like, 3 or 4,000,000 in, like, just la... Like, just in fees in a few months. I'm like, Ninja, just so you know, like, I can rest my head easy on the pillow at nighttime if people wanna come to the platform and start launching shitcoins on Robinhood chain via Tater. So he's like, let's do it. So I reached out to Aphroman because I saw him obviously trying to shake some ass for the ANSEM token, and I'm literally talking to Aphroman's manager now. Although he has the fro token on Solana, which actually has utility. Like, you actually go to, like, some of his shows who actually have reputable, like, good artists, And if you hold the token, you actually get in free to his shows, which I think is kinda dope. So I I couldn't really sell them on, hey. Wanna launch another meme coin? But, you know, we're still we're still chatting, we're trying to figure this out. But, yeah, guys, you
[0:17:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: You're trying to be the Sahil of this cycle.
[0:17:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go, man. Listen. Let's go. At this point, Robin Hood chain, here I come, bro. Here I come.
[0:18:04] NatNat @Natnatx007: You know what? I'm gonna I'm gonna just do my usual all this section here, guys. Just give me, like, two minutes. Right? It's a it's a it's a quick it's it's it's it's a quick, I told you so. Right? Remember...
[0:18:18] NatNat @Natnatx007: So I... It wasn't me specifically. I think it was all of us, and it ties into the importance of this show. Right? So I believe this was two years ago where we broke down the, the Robinhood earnings reporting. It was, like, $7 at that time from $7 to over a $100. Right? We were even comparing the market cap back then to other companies that were doing the same thing, and we identified the opportunity within Robinhood based on, you know, what we dissected, what they said and the market cap. Right? So if you would've purchased around that time that we spoke about it on the show, Just shares, not even often, just regular shares, would have been up my sleeve.
[0:19:01] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I actually I actually scarily remember that. Weird.
[0:19:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think... Yeah. I think it wasn't too long before you guys... You and cool brought me in. Right? I think it was about around that same time that we started talking about the stock market a little bit.
[0:19:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Because I remember because not only were you talking about it, the wolf guys were talking about it and Alex Finn when we were doing spaces together, and they made a they made a killing. Right? They loaded up too, like, right around those same, like, those low levels. And if you guys remember, like... I mean, crypto did wonders for Robinhood. Like, they were blowing out earnings, like, left and right. So, yeah, this just in 42 k soldier... You know, I'm gonna I'm gonna put the link to ATC for soldier boy. Let him come chill.
[0:19:47] Ryan @Rlad1776: And the next couple of earnings for Robinhood, wait until you see the capital under management numbers, are going to absolutely go through the roof
[0:19:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: And they
[0:19:58] Ryan @Rlad1776: because of the Trump accounts. And now you've got more and more people coming out. You've got Michael Dell. You've got... I mean, there's been seven or eight or 10 people that said, you know, they're gonna put in 250,000,000. Then you got the the CIO or CTO of SpaceX saying she's gonna contribute SpaceX shares to the Trump accounts. Like, I mean, between them and Bank of America, which is the two reserve companies that are are participating here. And by the way, if you're on this and you've got a kid under 18, you should definitely go out there and look at what makes it up and sign up and participate. And if you're gonna have a kid, you absolutely should participate because it's capitalism and it's free money. So do it.
[0:20:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: Also, to that note, Robinhood does have earnings coming up, and Vlad mentioned the CEO of Robinhood. He mentioned that they will be streaming it on x for the first time, I believe. So there's something going on there. Right? I don't think a company would do that if the numbers were really, really horrible. Right? Percent cash flow
[0:21:13] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And, Ryan, I I... Were you just talking about the the Trump accounts? Is that what you were saying? Like, previously, but not the... Yeah. Like, I was I was reading Chamat's post this morning, and he was just like, if you don't do this, right, like, the amount of money that they're willing to contribute, if you have literally a newborn baby, by the time they're 55, it would be $13,000,000 over the course of their lifetime. What, like, are you kidding me? How people would not do that just be? This is where I find it is gonna be really interesting is, like, the people that are just like, fuck Trump and blah blah blah blah blah. You're gonna... You... You're not gonna take this?
[0:21:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: No. Like, this is the... I mean, there's two things. Number one, this is capitalism. But number two, it's also the recognition that Social Security is is dead, and no one's gonna get it. So this is the, you know, the replacement for it. But it's a better system. Right? Because it's being held by institutions, and the greedy politicians generally don't get their hands on it. But, also, it's being managed appropriately, one would think. Of course, there's fees. You know? And there are a number... A lot of companies... Like, I'm seeing a lot of companies coming out going, not only will we match your four zero one k, like, if you work there for a company that does that, but they'll also match the Trump accounts or or some portion of it. So it compounds even even at a higher rate. Like, you're nuts if you don't do it. I mean, I'm thinking about going out and adopting, like, four kids, like, at at, like, three years old just for the hell of it. Just to, like... I mean... You know?
[0:22:47] Dave @DCBK2LA: Well, yeah. Make yourself a quick little parachute. Be like, sorry, kids. It's mine now. But, yeah, bro, I'm with you. I don't know. Imagine if we had something like this growing up, bro. Like, we barely had financial literacy. You know what I mean? Like, they didn't teach us this in school. And if you know you have this actually, granted me that... We don't gotta get into the whole, like, philosophical debate of, like, well, if you know you have all this money coming out, but that's gonna take time to grow. You know what I'm saying? So... Yeah, man. People are crazy if they don't take advantage of this, dude. They really... Like, it's... It it... Yeah. Also, who wants to have babies? Because I'd like to make $13,000,000
[0:23:24] NatNat @Natnatx007: over
[0:23:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: the next few years. I'm just saying.
[0:23:26] NatNat @Natnatx007: I'm just saying. How are you, Allison? The space is recorded, Allison. So when you come back, let me know. I'll send you the link.
[0:23:34] Ryan @Rlad1776: Well, I'm gonna go old school here on you with Nicks... With the Nicks. But can you imagine if Larry Johnson was younger and then started his 27 babies with 27 different baby mamas? Like, I mean, as rich as he got, like, he would be
[0:23:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: Bro.
[0:23:50] Ryan @Rlad1776: A gazillionaire. He'd be... He he might even be be on par of of of Elon at this point.
[0:23:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Right? It's like between LJ, you know, Antonio Cromartie's got, like, 15 kids right from the jets. Like... So these guys are like... This is literally a lifeline for you at the end of the day. Are you kidding me? Like, you might have to support for a little while, but let's go and pay back in spades. Make them sign contracts or something. Like, hey. Listen. When you get this money, half. Imagine parents making their kids pay back half from the savings account. Wild.
[0:24:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Milo has designed it by the way, Dave. Not sure if you can see it.
[0:24:23] Dave @DCBK2LA: My bad. Hello, Milo.
[0:24:26] Milo @0dteSPY: Hello. So I'm gonna bring a dose to reality. Uh-oh. A $52.09 plan is actually better.
[0:24:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Really?
[0:24:35] Milo @0dteSPY: Yes. Not every kid is going to get every dollar that they're promising. If your child wasn't born between 2005 and... Or... I'm sorry. 2025 and 2028, you're probably not gonna get jacked. And, yeah, you can actually do a five twenty nine plan. It actually works out a little bit better because the Trump account, when they turn 18, essentially turns into an IRA. Five twenty nine plan gives you a little bit more flexibility. You're also not capped the same way. If you got more than one kid, which some of us do, you can actually designate benefits.
[0:25:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: Roth IRA or regular IRA?
[0:25:18] Milo @0dteSPY: Regular IRA, my understanding. But, you know, I'm not a tax expert. I don't play one
[0:25:23] Ryan @Rlad1776: on TV.
[0:25:23] Milo @0dteSPY: Apparently, I'm a diamond dealer and mechanic.
[0:25:26] Ryan @Rlad1776: It is a regular IRA, Milo. But but FYI, like, I know we were talking about this in the back channels, but you can do both. Right? Because the $5.29 gives you and, again, I'm not a, a tax dude either. But NFA, DYNA. Well, yeah, whatever. Yes. What what Dave just said. But the $5.29 gives you the ability to use it for college and other things like that, whereas this this becomes a savings account. And, you know, I looked into that... Those dates, and I didn't see that. So can you send me, Milo, in in the back channels, like, where you're seeing that? Because I could not find that.
[0:26:10] Milo @0dteSPY: So... Yeah. That's no problem. I'll send it to you. The
[0:26:13] Ryan @Rlad1776: Thanks, brother. So the
[0:26:14] Milo @0dteSPY: the deal... Yeah. No problem. The the deal is is that, like... So, like, I got kids that are not... Well, look. I'm not having any more kids, so let's just get that out of the way. Two, my youngest is probably not gonna get jack shit, and that's okay. So it's not really gonna be for everybody. You you... The kids that are gonna get, they're gonna benefit the most, essentially born during the Trump presidency. You do have the $5,000 cap per year. If you do have the disposable income to do this, wonderful. Right? If you don't, sorry. That's just the way that they're doing things. So I just don't like to sell false hope. If you get something, cool. If you don't, that's the way it goes.
[0:26:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, listen. Think about this too. Right? I think by that time also, call me crazy, I think the entire higher education system is going to change. I know that they obviously control a lot of money. They're massive endowments. But, like, the way in which tech is... Like, the the... Like, AI tech is progressing, like, either kids are gonna... The whole shit's gonna change, or maybe you save yourself 50,000 a year where you're... You don't have to just spend on a kid going to college and saddle them with freaking debt and everything else. It seems like, guys, are we actually moving in the right direction as a society? Like, I didn't really think about all this until, like, just now, like, putting these pieces together. Wow. Wow. This is great. You might not have Social Security. I get it. I don't think anybody's really banking on Social Security. That'll 1,200 a month or or what it's gonna do for you, but still...
[0:27:45] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. But most of the people that that are... That will complain about it, they're they're within, like, I'm gonna say, twa... I'll say nine... Fifth... I'll say ten to ten to fifteen years from dying anyway. So the complaining is is is is like, literally gonna go away anyway. Right? Like, I'll be around for it, but I'll I'll I'll speak exactly to that. So I I don't know if I've ever shared this with you guys, but
[0:28:15] Dave @DCBK2LA: we Yes. We know how many push ups you do.
[0:28:17] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. No. We we took in,
[0:28:21] Ryan @Rlad1776: my wife and I, some... We took in three kids that that needed to be taken in when we were younger. And so they're not mine, but we raised them up, got them to high school. It it it was bad. Different families, and all three enlisted. And all three of them were over in Iran. The one girl, she just rotated out, and she finished up her four years per tour. And so she's obviously got access to the GI bill. And we were talking, and I'm like, alright. You you wanna go to college? What do you wanna do? She's like, hell no. I fired missiles at shit. I don't wanna go to college. Like, I wanna go, and I'm going to learn how to weld. And, like... Because I can do anything I want, and then I'm gonna get my underwater welding license. And I'm gonna go figure out
[0:29:29] Dave @DCBK2LA: I love that.
[0:29:29] Ryan @Rlad1776: Like, how to make 500,000 a year, work in six months, and all... Everybody can kiss my ass. And you know what it's gonna cost? Because, again, I I walked this model through with all my kids. Like, if you wanna go to college, we'll pay for it, but you better get a degree in something that matters. If you don't wanna go to college, go to trade school and learn how to use your hands because you can get done faster and you can make more money. Anyway, she's like, fuck that. I'm I'm going... I'm using this GI bill, and I am going to get my my welding license, and then I'm gonna get my underwater degree. And, like, I am gonna be the
[0:30:06] Dave @DCBK2LA: Bro, Zuckerberg's gonna pay her. Remember the jobs we were talking about? Like, go get to, like,. Zuckerberg's gonna end up paying her. Good. I love that, bro. That's so awesome.
[0:30:15] Ryan @Rlad1776: That's so awesome. It's so... Yeah, man. Like, like, are healing. And and I've been saying it for a while, and everybody, you know, says, I don't know. Like, you know, it depends on who you're... Spaces you're on, but, like, we are healing. And this kid is so... Like, all three of them are so unbelievable, as are my my two boys. But her That's
[0:30:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: beautiful that you did that. Right? And every time someone says we are healing, I think of the Michael Jackson song, Heal the World.
[0:30:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: Heal the world. Yeah. Yeah.
[0:30:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: Make it a better place.
[0:30:47] Ryan @Rlad1776: But they needed it, and we had the room, and, you know, that's that's what we do. Right?
[0:30:54] Dave @DCBK2LA: It's not everybody that... Yeah. It's not everybody that would do that, bro. So hold on one second. You deserve one.
[0:31:00] NatNat @Natnatx007: What's the... If anyone does a sort of call or something or expecting?
[0:31:04] Dave @DCBK2LA: Do. So kudos to you, Ryan. Yeah. Lainie, go ahead, and then we'll go to Milo.
[0:31:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: Okay. Two things about the Trump accounts that you need to know. You can... It it doesn't matter. You... The the thousand dollar seed money, yes, for, you know, this this year going forward to 2025 going forward to 2028. But you have to understand is this allow... It's another vector on top of Roth IRA contributions because you are capped. Right? You're capped in this. You're capped in Roth IRA contributions as well. This... You can get an extra $5 that you can put in essentially per year. But something that's even bigger is employers are already committing to not just providing matching for Roth IRAs, four zero one k's, but they're including the Trump accounts as well. So it it it doesn't hurt to have this. This does not replace your five twenty nines. Right? So... But it is in an... In addition to, and it's a concept, I think, that is really smart because you are getting a lot of these companies that are going to contribute to putting stocks in there. And you think about it, like, essentially, they are staking stocks with you. You get to... It's like a lockup period anyway. Right? So they get to just shove a bunch of stock in there. It's gonna be worth a lot of money later on anyway for for these large corporations because many of them are not going anywhere. And then you've got, like, SpaceX just getting started. Imagine what that would be worth. Right? And they're specifically coming up with carve outs for this. So that's the big thing. Also, you can convert to a regular IRA, but then the... At 18, they can they can take it, and they can convert it to a Roth. So they get all of the benefits of this plus a $5.29 plus Roth plus all of these other things that can already be contributed to. And then they can... And this is just in addition to that, plus can be rolled to a regular, which they could take and roll into a Roth. So there is matching
[0:33:19] Dave @DCBK2LA: benefits and and the tax benefits as well. Essentially, they're setting kids up, like, with the bare minimum that we wish we freaking had growing up because we didn't know none of this stuff. Right? Like, I didn't know shit from shit. I don't know about a lot of people, but it's not... I didn't know none of this shit.
[0:33:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: And and here's the other thing. There's no earned income required. So unlike in a Roth IRA, there's no earned income. It's... You know, this is... This can be really... Essentially, what this can be... This is an extra... If you can contribute. Right? If you have the income to contribute $5,000 a year to something like this in addition to the other types of products that are already out there that are gonna be best for different circumstances, this is really aimed at long term growth. Whereas you have, like, a five twenty nine aimed at, you know, college. You have you have Roth aimed at retirement, but this can all be rolled forward and essentially never have taxes paid on it straight through retirement. So it can be... This is more geared towards very long term view investing, and it's something that if you're gonna... If if you don't have one, even adult... By the way, even adults can sign up for this thing. Right? So just so you understand, it's not just 18 and under, although you get the most benefits out of the 18 and under because it changes tax structure if you're an adult and, like, all that kinds of stuff. But even adults have access to this. That's something that a lot of people don't really understand about the way that these accounts are set up. You could potentially have further treasury contributions. They've already floated that. And then there's other things that that the administration and Scott Pissent specifically has been out there kind of talking about for tweaking to make sure that this is really set up for, right now, onboarding the youngest generation with seed money from the treasury, but for then enrolling groups that are over the age of, you know, essentially one years old and more. Right? And there's there's a lot of flexibility here. I think that it doesn't hurt to open one even if you don't end up using it or contributing it to it, but having it available to be contributed to. Let's say your kid gets a job when they're, you know, 15, 16 years old depending on on the state and their employer wants to contribute to that. They get their four zero one k. They get whatever kind of packages plus this. They'll be able to contribute right into it instead of having to set it up because you do want the start date to be fairly early in my opinion. So there is that. And then the other thing that was just brought up a moment ago, I'm... I was part of a, I guess, a council, you could call it, of people that were looking at contracts for various government agencies, in particular, on the military side. And one of the things that they are going to start doing is paying you to go to school. So you get a job. They send you to school and pay for you to go to school.
[0:36:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: Select time.
[0:36:28] Landy @CryptoLandy: When you're done with it, you're you're you're out there working in the field for them. Now, typically, these are gonna start... They're gonna start rolling out what's called longer term defense contracts in this regard. Right? So if you get... Let's say you're straight out of college and you're like, I do wanna go be a welder or I do wanna go be, you know, an AI, you know, whiz kid at this defense firm. They are getting money that's going to be allocated to sending you to school for that specific subject, and they are now starting to identify the schools to send people to. And there's a little puppet on one of these councils because I started a school that was very specific working with the DOD at the time, now DOW. And they essentially will pay for your entire college, and you then have a job at the end of that provided you complete that. Now, obviously, if you don't, then you have to pay for the college and stuff like that. So there is obviously going to be benchmarks for this stuff.
[0:37:33] Ryan @Rlad1776: But No. There's skin in the game. Like, if you want some free shit,
[0:37:37] Landy @CryptoLandy: like There's free college Perform. Plus a job.
[0:37:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: If Plus a job. Right. If you want some free shit, like, take advantage of it. But if you don't take advantage of it and you don't perform, guess what? You owe us back. The same thing I do with both my boys when they went to college. I go, okay. You wanna go to college?
[0:37:53] Landy @CryptoLandy: Guess what?
[0:37:53] Ryan @Rlad1776: I can just write a check today for you to go to college for four years.
[0:37:57] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm gonna land the plane like a Delta Airlines flight upside down. Brother. Alright? On the Hudson.
[0:38:02] Ryan @Rlad1776: On the Hudson's.
[0:38:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: Well, this... We're gonna land it in Canada because that's the only place that you can really land upside down other other than Australia. So real... This isn't just gonna be high school kids going into college. But if you are somebody that has a high school diploma and you end up going and applying to some of these places and you're older, but you don't have college and you don't have any kind of trade that you've been trained in, guess what you... Guess what they're gonna do? You will get put in a pool of candidates where you can see if you qualify to go and get that training or go to college for that specific subject to go get hired into some of these places. These are private companies with defense dollars. Alright? And it's across many of the sectors that you wouldn't even... Even medical. Whether it's medical, AI, and tech, whether it's trades, whether it's defense, like direct defense, like munitions or, you know, or going out and supporting operations or whatever it might be. They're going full across the board. These programs are gonna be rolling out starting next year for young young people first. It's gonna be essentially anybody up to 18 graduating high school be eligible up through bachelor's degree. If you wanted to advance your degree more and you needed to do that to be in the job, they will literally pay for it. And it's a... It's private companies. You're probably gonna see Palantir be one of the... One at the forefront of this, and you might hear about some other exciting defense companies that are gonna be doing this very soon as well. Really cool
[0:39:42] Ryan @Rlad1776: stuff. Andrew Roll.
[0:39:44] Landy @CryptoLandy: I didn't say anything, but somebody else has some inside tracks.
[0:39:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: In terms of getting paid to go to school, I... It's it's not a new concept. Right? I believe in certain certain countries in Europe did that many, many years ago, Holland being one of them. Because I remember they tried to pilot, that in Saint Martin too many, many years ago in which they would pay us a certain amount of money for us to go to school, study a a particular a particular field, and then work in that field. So that's... It'll be very interesting to see how how how you... The USA takes it, Ben, or how it works in in The USA, how successful it's it's gonna become in The USA. Because I know from my international friends, one thing with with The US is they always believe that American college is very expensive. They would love to come here and and study here and go to school here. But if that's something that's open internationally, I think that's gonna bring in a lot of people as well.
[0:40:47] Landy @CryptoLandy: You will need you will need to be a US citizen. So one of the... This is basically taking the model of... You know, if you were in the military and it was not... You weren't deployed, you could go to college. Right? And your college is paid for GI bill and all that. If you're a veteran, you get GI bill, and they paid up to a certain amount of college or trade school and stuff like that. They're taking that model, and they are expanding that, by the way, for armed services. But they are taking that model and and bringing it to the government contract side of things. Because one of the biggest things that they have found is that when you have Department of War or other sections of the government that have these contracts out there, there's a lot of people that were getting hired that don't have the qualifications. And then, also, if you don't spend the money, you lose that money. So it's like, okay. Well, how about we... Instead of losing that money, we provide for these programs because the money's already been allocated. Why don't... Instead of trying to get this money back, which takes forever and someone that sometimes you never see the money back anyway, how about we give that to them to train up their employees? And instead of doing in house training, they can do out of house training, meaning that if they need certifications for specific jobs or they need trades... Training for specific jobs or they need a college education of a certain level to do a specific job, then they just get it paid for it. How about we offer this as part of the recruiting process? So the... These are thing... This is a different way of thinking about things that is modeled after things that have worked in the past that was specifically within the Department of Defense at the time's wheelhouse in terms of training and education. And now they're rolling that out to specific subsets of contractors and and subcontractors. So there's... And there's an approved list of schools, and they're starting to work those together, and it's all based on performance metrics and who's doing what, where, why, and when, and how. What the part of your
[0:42:53] Ryan @Rlad1776: life gave me a... Like, that's what I'm doing in retirement. Like, in in a couple three years, like, I... I'm I'm joining up. Like, I wanna be part of that. Like, I'm literally... I I want I didn't mean I didn't mean to interrupt you before, but there's two things I wanna say. Number one, GI Bill. Okay? Very little is known about it. If you have a grandfather, a grandmother, because if your grandmother was in the Red Cross or whatever, they also qualified. If you have a father or a mother that was in the military that did not use the GI Bill, okay, that is actually available to be passed down, and it can be deeded or willed rather through will. K? So if you have... If if you're somebody who's young enough that wants to go to college and doesn't initially wanna pay for it and spend the money and you have somebody that, like, you know, grandfather, grandmother, mother, father that was in the military, that can be gifted to you. It could also be deeded through... Or... I'm sorry. It can also be given... Passed down through a will.
[0:44:07] Milo @0dteSPY: Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. That is not a 100% accurate. If you're a Montgomery GI Bill soldier, you cannot will your your education benefits. That come... That goes back to Vietnam era and before. So if we're gonna talk about this, we need to make sure that we have the right era.
[0:44:27] Ryan @Rlad1776: And World War two.
[0:44:28] Milo @0dteSPY: Okay. World War two up to Vietnam. Mhmm. Once you get into, like, 85, which is Montgomery GI Bill, things like that, it gets different.
[0:44:37] Ryan @Rlad1776: You... You're right. You're right. Milo, 100%, and I apologize for not being much more specific. But but if you have parents that have not... That that are in that earlier error and have not used it, that can be gifted or or willed down. Okay? I'm just trying to give out some alpha, like, take advantage of some stuff if if it's available.
[0:45:02] Milo @0dteSPY: I understand, but it gets real dicey. First of all, I'm a veteran if everybody hasn't figured that out by now. I'm also combat veteran if everybody hasn't figured that out by now. Right? I used my GI bill to become a mechanic. Any rate, the whole point is is that, some of it is willable. Some of it isn't. Some of it has to do with, you know, disability status. There's, like, a lot of caveats to this. So... And and age group matters. Right? Our age group in this space can be anywhere from, I'm gonna say, 55, 60 probably into the early twenties. So it really depends on age.
[0:45:39] Ryan @Rlad1776: Fair. And and and I don't disagree. And I wasn't trying to I guess I wasn't trying to give a blanket statement, but rather
[0:45:49] Dave @DCBK2LA: We got it.
[0:45:50] Ryan @Rlad1776: We got to contribute to Landy's point that there are all of these programs out there that are available, but you gotta research. You gotta... And and some of them, you may come up, you know, you know, a pair of twos. Others, you may come up not flush. So... But do your research. There's a lot of... It's not as bad as what if... Like, we get on these faces, man, and and I'm telling you, I listen to them all the time. And every... The world's ending. But there are a lot of things out there that are available. You just gotta do your research. So if you're thinking about these things or if you're interested in these things, definitely, you should absolutely, like, do some research and figure out.
[0:46:34] Landy @CryptoLandy: Do I have... The world is absolutely not ending. It is just me and LA that are ending. Those are the only two places that's
[0:46:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: what I'm trying to coming. So
[0:46:44] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yes. That
[0:46:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: that's where I literally spent my whole life.
[0:46:47] NatNat @Natnatx007: You spent your life with Jesus? Failure.
[0:46:49] Ryan @Rlad1776: So, Milo,
[0:46:50] Landy @CryptoLandy: I did not mean
[0:46:50] Ryan @Rlad1776: I did not mean to offend you. I was just simply just raising... Because I I did this with my with my grandfather. You know, distinguished service cross metal was up from metal burner. Offended. Like, I I went through it all. Like, and my dad. Like No.
[0:47:06] Milo @0dteSPY: No. Y'all look good. Like, no. No. There's no offense. It's just I wanna make sure that people understand that, like, if if your kids are... Okay. If you have kids that are my kid... Kid's age, you're not... You... They can't get my GI bill. I I would love to give it to them. Don't get me wrong. But but it's not it's not a program that's eligible.
[0:47:24] Ryan @Rlad1776: Right. Right?
[0:47:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: Right.
[0:47:25] Milo @0dteSPY: And and it's not eligible for everybody. So depending on the age, like, Landy can tell you, like... Because I've seen some crazy stuff. He's responded to some stuff, and people have, like, these wild ideas about what can be passed down, and it's like, well, wait a minute. You know? And it's like, wait. That... Like, that's... It... It's partially accurate. Right? And so if you sort of fall into these weird different buckets or you fall into these age timelines, then, yeah, this is absolutely a 100% correct. But if you... If you're from this time frame to this time frame, it cuts off.
[0:47:58] Ryan @Rlad1776: One hun... 1100%. And my intention was not to be give people false hope or be partially accurate. Just to rather
[0:48:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: Listen old... Listen old...
[0:48:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Think about it. We get it.
[0:48:10] NatNat @Natnatx007: I think Milo is working on a car in the background because every time he Yeah.
[0:48:13] Ryan @Rlad1776: So I just wanted to say one other thing on Lenny... At the end of Lenny's rant. Okay? Real quick. I could've I could've written a check for both my kids' college when they decided after our talk that that's what they wanted to do. But I told them both to go f themselves, and we went and we took loans. And they both had to put their names and sign their names on loans. Why? You
[0:48:41] NatNat @Natnatx007: get
[0:48:41] Ryan @Rlad1776: a 3.5 or better with, you know, slight variation. But in something that matters over the course of four years, the day you graduate, I will absolutely pay that bill off. Why did I do that? It goes back to Landy's point, skin in the game. K? I'm telling you right now, if your kid decides college and... Like, you all know your kids. But if they decide college, they they also need to understand that they're skin in the game. And if they meet certain requirements when they're done, they don't have to worry about it if you're if you're in a position where you can afford to do that. Okay? It it worked for me. My my oldest graduated with 3.8. My youngest is probably gonna graduate with 4.1, believe it or not. And I thought he was a stupid dipshit one, but he's actually either smarter or he knows how to use AI better. I can't... I I I don't know. I don't
[0:49:38] Landy @CryptoLandy: mean to step on you with this, but this is what's called hedging because you don't wanna pay for it up front because they could go to college and come out of communist. And then you don't... Then you're like, oh, man. I already paid for that. Well, that did come into my thought
[0:49:50] Ryan @Rlad1776: process too.
[0:49:51] Landy @CryptoLandy: Come out of communist... Well, here's the thing is now if they come out of communist, we'll go pay your own damn bills.
[0:49:56] Ryan @Rlad1776: Right. Even if they got... Even if they met all my requirements, Lenny, they still came out of communist, and so they can go screw themselves. But you get what I'm saying here. Right? Like like, it it it makes them... Because there's so many other choices. It doesn't have to be college. Okay? There really are. But if they choose college, it needs to matter, and they need to have skin in the game. Because that Friday morning class that starts at 08:30, if they ain't paying for it and they know dad is or mom is or whatever, I'm telling you right now, they ain't waking up for that shit.
[0:50:30] NatNat @Natnatx007: Man, those Friday morning classes after Thursday, Thursday were brutal.
[0:50:35] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. But, Nat, you
[0:50:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: you gotta want it so we can make
[0:50:38] Ryan @Rlad1776: I don't know your backstory, but I gotta imagine you're kinda like me. Like, either you paid for it, your mom paid for it, or your parents paid for it, and it was, like, $427 a credit. Right? Like, you're waking up for that shit because if you get anything other than an an... A b minus or an an a minus, like, you're gonna hear it. No?
[0:51:00] NatNat @Natnatx007: Well, I I got a a a partial, scholarship. So I... Out of pocket, it wasn't that that much. But I did have strict Latino parents, so god forbid, I called them and tell them, yeah. I'm not into college anymore. I got kicked out of college. I would not be here talking to you guys. So here we are.
[0:51:18] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. And and...
[0:51:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: To make it to class by any means necessary.
[0:51:22] Ryan @Rlad1776: Yeah. 100%. Right? So I don't know. That's my TED talk, dad talk, grunk talk, whatever you wanna call it. By the way, Dave, I don't know if you heard earlier, but I am now a grunk, which is a new thing, and it should be respected. That is a grandpa uncle
[0:51:39] Dave @DCBK2LA: I like that.
[0:51:40] Ryan @Rlad1776: Combined. I'm so drunk. So I'm a grunk. I
[0:51:42] NatNat @Natnatx007: like that. Dave, you did you did miss out on on my opening segment when we were talking about the World Cup and Holland. However you pronounce his name. He's so The
[0:51:53] Dave @DCBK2LA: Holland. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
[0:51:57] NatNat @Natnatx007: Last week last week, on Thursday, we actually had the show. We had everyday NFT with the OpenAmy platform. Right? Let me tell you. I don't know if you saw it on your on your timeline, but his cards, his collectible NFTs on the Panini blockchain, they are selling for an insane amount. Like, some of them even sold for, like, 6 figures. And a lot of people on the other side, they bought it for, like, $7, $200. So the ROI on some of these World Cup collectible NFTs are insane.
[0:52:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: So can I ask you a question? Why are you buying the players that you're buying? Is it just because you like those players? Because normally, like, if you're gonna make an investment in something, especially now with, like, World Cup hype, wouldn't you wanna buy, like, some of the... Are doing it just to kinda, like, get your feet wet essentially and just have some exposure?
[0:52:48] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Because I'm I'm literally just now learning about this. I've been talking to, Everyday NFT in the background. So the first few collectibles that I got were NBAs because I I like NBAs. I like LeBron. So like, it's we're kinda starting with what I like and things that I see value in. There was a beautiful article that was put out a few days ago in terms of how underpriced a lot of these collect... The digital collectibles are in comparison to, the actual, hard copies. There's gonna be... And and and the article goes on to state that there is a potential for some kind of a repricing in some of them. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Right? This is just his opinion, and he's speculating, he put out some great numbers. Right? But there's some great, there's some good money to be made. Like, even today, some of the cars that sold today were sold at an incredible ROI. Granted, those that are pocketing big, I believe those are were... Those that got in before the World Cup started. Right? So they were able to collect on a lot of these cards before the popularity.
[0:53:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. So, Nat, also, you... So you see the the the duck... Not not the... What's it called? Duck, but the duck tailed duck down there below Scrooge with his WAP. WAP actually won a giveaway pack and got an actual Leo Messi in one of those packs, like, something like like, two out of 10 or something like that. So he... How crazy is that right now? And those packs are still going, man.
[0:54:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: They are.
[0:54:20] Dave @DCBK2LA: Apparently, like... Yeah. That's wild. That
[0:54:23] NatNat @Natnatx007: is crazy. There's someone that got a eight pack with a a one on one, I believe it was Messi. Uh-huh. And, yeah, it's worth, like, 110,000 or something like that. It's it's massive, massive. But even, like, smaller ones. Right? Because you can flip them depending on the amount of volume. You could just flip them for a few 100. Yeah.
[0:54:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: And and I saw that, like, the two guys that everybody's tagging in a lot of these posts are, like, whales, but also, like, those whales are now bringing in others. Right? So those that know, like, least in Versalist. Right? Like, the Instagram crypto kid or whatever. We're fan of him or not. Like, kid's got money. Right? He's following those guys and the moves that they're making and what they're buying on chain and literally buying, like, similar shit. You know what I mean? Like, adjacent to those cards and players. So, yeah, man. That's... It's I don't know. We we should do just a space on this, like an ATC space just dedicated to this again so that we can really see what kind of opportunity. And just go by the numbers, NFT volume, weekly volume, chain, and, you know, let's just get a bunch of these guys in here and just, like, talk about their experience because I, like... Yeah. I'm sold on this stuff.
[0:55:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So tomorrow, I'll be doing a stream. He hasn't confirmed yet, but I'll be doing... She'll be doing a stream with Everyday NFTs. Everydays? Yeah. With Everyday's NFTs.
[0:55:36] Dave @DCBK2LA: Let's go.
[0:55:37] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. Because I'm telling you, there is... There's money to be made on this. However, the tricky part is... And I'm seeing it. Right? But the tricky part is knowing which one sells. Right? Because, obviously, you wanna get, like, the ones out of 10. So there's the low numbers, right, the ones that are rare, but also the the design, which design are hot. Like, lately, I've been noticing noticing a lot of the color blast. They're called color blast. So if you get a Prism color blast, those are flying off the shelves. Right? Like, a lot of what was sold yesterday and today were color blast. Those are a little bit pricey, but if you can you can flip them quickly depending on the games that are going on. Right? So, like, for the tonight's game, USA, there have been a lot of... That have already sold. Some of them are listed already, but some are unlisted, but you can still put an offer. So it's gonna be very interesting to see how it all plays out. But I... I'm gonna see if I can find the article that was written a few days ago in terms of this individual, how he sees a a repricing happening with these digital collectibles. Because if if, you know, what he's saying comes true, there's there's still, like, an enormous amount of money to be made even after the World Cup. Right? Because the World Cup is really hot. Right? But then you also have MLB, and then you have the NBA finals that are possibly getting in year d rotation. Right? And those go for a lot of money. Like, Wimbiyama, his collectible, his one his one of one, that one sold to, I think, it's, like, $90,000. It's insane.
[0:57:08] Milo @0dteSPY: Yeah.
[0:57:08] Dave @DCBK2LA: And those... And honestly, I... Listen. I don't I don't have $90 to spend on a card, but if you can find, like, superstars like that early enough in their career, whatever. We're Knicks fans, but at the end of the day, you know what? Wimby is gonna be the face of this league moving forward. It's a fact. Right? Like, he is going to dominate this league for a deck... For at least the next decade. So, like... And and if he keeps getting better and better, eventually, like, those cards are gonna be worth for, like, a pretty penny. And sometimes we don't see it now where it's like, am I really gonna spend $23,000 on a card? You know? Because nobody has the patience or the foresight to actually see an investment through. But, yeah, like, this is... Those those are the things. But can it be... And it's on chain. This is the other thing. This shit lives on chain. It... It's a total, complete, and utter freaking game changer, man.
[0:57:54] NatNat @Natnatx007: For today's Yep. So for today's game, I picked up a Cristiano Ronaldo. And some people... Because he lost, a lot of people are are selling it, like, at not the price that they should be selling it. Because a lot Why? He... Because he lost the game, but that's... Can... It's like what you said. Right? A lot of people aren't thinking, like, five or ten years down the line. Let's say he decides to retire. And it... It's
[0:58:16] Landy @CryptoLandy: That's it. Yeah.
[0:58:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. This was his last World Cup, Nat. Like, to me, that's a great that's a great move. Yeah. That... This... He ain't complaining in another World Cup for four... In another four years. No way. He's done.
[0:58:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. So imagine he retires. What do you think the the collectibles are gonna be valued at? Higher rewards.
[0:58:32] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. We saw the... Exactly. You remember what what happened with Tom Brady when he was like, I'm retiring. No. I'm just kidding. I'm going back to $10,000,000. Right? Like, until he officially retired, then those cards went fucked. They went crazy.
[0:58:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah.
[0:58:44] Dave @DCBK2LA: I mean, granted, he's, like, the best football player of
[0:58:46] NatNat @Natnatx007: all time.
[0:58:46] Dave @DCBK2LA: But, I mean... Yeah. But Ronaldo, arguably the best footballer of all time. So, yeah, good shit.
[0:58:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. And every day, it was... He was he was... This is why, you know, I like picking his brain, talking to him in the back end. Right? Because there were a lot of people selling it for, like, 400 or $300. That 400 or $300 that they that they let go of could have been worth 10 times that in the next few years.
[0:59:10] Dave @DCBK2LA: That, like, that... There was a... This is not an NFT, but the the perfect example of this was... There was a Jalen Brunson card that sold for $343, right, like, before the season or whatever. $343 that then sold for a 250,000 by the time the by
[0:59:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: the time the the NBA finals
[0:59:25] Dave @DCBK2LA: were here.
[0:59:25] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh my god. I have one.
[0:59:27] Dave @DCBK2LA: Talk about a come up.
[0:59:28] Milo @0dteSPY: I have a
[0:59:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: I have a Jada. I'm old. I'm not that old, but I got one. I'm Jada. Yeah.
[0:59:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And my my nephew actually owns... It's so crazy because before the Knicks went on this crazy run, we went to a Knicks game. You guys remember when I went to the Knicks game that night with the boys and my nephews?
[0:59:45] NatNat @Natnatx007: That's fine.
[0:59:45] Dave @DCBK2LA: We got we got a basketball signed by every single Knick player that night and every single player on that roster from OG, Jalen, Alvarado, everybody. So my sister went and framed it for him, and I think he's gonna try and go get it graded because that's that's something really, really cool. But, anyways, nostalgia over. Sorry, Lindy. Go ahead, man.
[1:00:03] Landy @CryptoLandy: So I regret to inform you that the reason why I was talking about Ronaldo earlier is because I may or may not be one of those buyers of Ronaldo cars. Plus, you have a man crush
[1:00:16] Ryan @Rlad1776: on him. Like, let's just get it out there.
[1:00:18] Landy @CryptoLandy: Let's let's let's to swing.
[1:00:20] NatNat @Natnatx007: Haircut was almost
[1:00:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: December the year. This does this does not bode well for Dave if he's over there in those markets because Nat just explained how she is now into the markets, and I've been silent the whole time. And when she brought up Ronaldo, I just wanted to note that I am also... I'm all up in those charts. I am buying some of those cards now because I I I did some clicking, and I was kinda bored. And then I was on the plane, and I was like, you know what? Let me go and check. Oh oh, wow. Wow. They are just dumping these.
[1:00:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: This is amazing. I picked up one, like, ultra rare one, and I also picked up a epic flor... Floraven. I don't even know how you pronounce the deck.
[1:01:01] Ryan @Rlad1776: Oh, so mom... Mama did do some shopping that
[1:01:05] NatNat @Natnatx007: you learned.
[1:01:05] Dave @DCBK2LA: Did. Yo, Nat. Nat.
[1:01:07] NatNat @Natnatx007: And it was a nine
[1:01:08] Landy @CryptoLandy: out of
[1:01:09] NatNat @Natnatx007: 10. Okay. It was a nine out of 10.
[1:01:11] Dave @DCBK2LA: Nat. Nat. I'm literally seeing the post on the timeline now. Like, I show speed, literally tweeted Ronaldo's still a goat no matter what. Thank you for everything. The goodbye post are already out there. So I don't... Like, that's crazy.
[1:01:21] Landy @CryptoLandy: So are you saying my wife's throwing a towel the morning?
[1:01:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. It should. 100%. Don't hold your breath for right now. But... Yeah.
[1:01:29] Landy @CryptoLandy: I was... I I had to because why would why would anyone... Why would you dump one of the greatest players of all time one of their cards for cheap when you know that they're likely never gonna play again? Or even if they do play, they're not gonna be in the World Cup again. Like, why... That just doesn't make a lot of sense. Like, that is vintage stuff. After a while, it's like... And if this is the direction that that they're gonna be going in in the future, which I think this is a positive direction for them. I know that there's some people that disagree with this vehemently. Obviously, we're more on the, hey. NFTs are fine side. Right? Like... But there are physical collectors out there that are in complete revolt over this stuff. But, realistically, this is the direction that they're going in, and it's making them a lot of money as you could tell. And people are making some good money too as well. So I don't see this slowing down. There's a lot of different... They have licenses to every single major sport on the planet, and, you know, we're gonna be prepping for NFL season soon. Right?
[1:02:44] NatNat @Natnatx007: So Some of Tom Brady's cards are already flying, man. Yeah. I'm not sure if they're seeing it, but they're going for big money.
[1:02:52] Landy @CryptoLandy: Here's here's the key. How much you wanna re... You you wanna bet because he's... You know, he kinda got torn apart as a broadcaster. Like, some people love him, like, super divisive. Some people loved him. Some people hate him. It's basically... He's like Romo in that sense. Like, people loved him, and then people hate him, and then everything gets tired, and nobody really likes him anymore.
[1:03:14] Dave @DCBK2LA: Love Tony Romo.
[1:03:15] Landy @CryptoLandy: Love Tony Romo too. That around? But but it it... But there is an entire group of haters out there. But it's like, as soon as they mess something up on the broadcast, I wanna see if his cards tag because then I'm just gonna be there as a card shark just buying them all and then just resell them when when everybody's like, oh my god. He predicted that he was gonna throw the ball, and he got a touchdown, you because he was one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. And he read the defense, and then the quarterback did what he thought he would, kinda like what Romo does.
[1:03:44] Ryan @Rlad1776: So the the... That conversation last week sparked a fire on me because, like, you have no idea how many cards I have. So I I called my my oldest, and he's got a a friend who's got an 11 and a 13 year old, two younger brothers. And I basically hired them. I'm paying them $10 an hour. They come over for three hours a day, three days a week, and they're they're going through all my cards. Because, like, they know the shit. Right? And so the the 13 year old looked at me, and he's like, mister Ryan, man, we love you. You've always been so great to us. You take us out on the boat, like, yada yada, but you have not managed this very well. And I started cracking up laughing. And I'm like, well, that's why I'm paying you guys. So figure it out for me and tell me what where... What I got where I got. Separate it all, and then let's go. Are you kidding me?
[1:04:36] Landy @CryptoLandy: Freaking Milo's out there buying entire freaking runs of of boxes of cards at the store now. This this is actually kicked off
[1:04:46] Ryan @Rlad1776: of bunch of But but look. I'm not I'm not doing this. Through all this. I'm not doing this. But plus I figured I could give a couple kids some money for the summer. Right? I'm definitely not doing it. Like... And and I'm like, tell me which ones I gotta send away. And and, oh, by the way, do you know about this NFT thing? They're like, one step... Yeah. The the the oldest, he he looks at me and goes, mister Ryan, one step at a time. Let's get through these physical things, and then and then we'll deal with the the online NFT stuff. And I'm like, oh, you know about NFTs? He goes, please, let's get through this physical stuff first. So I started dying laughing. But, anyway, you guys sparked a fire, so thank you for bringing those guys on. Panini is the jam. I'll get there probably in the next six years.
[1:05:38] NatNat @Natnatx007: Yeah. I'm racking up on ultra rare, and I'm trying to get into, like, legendaries. Right? Because those things are gonna be worth big money. Obviously, depending on who it is. Right? But something there.
[1:05:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: I'm just praying that this isn't gonna be like Infofy again. Oh, because we're both be like the Yes.
[1:05:55] NatNat @Natnatx007: My god. Yeah.
[1:05:57] Dave @DCBK2LA: Just don't What? PaniniFi. You know? PaniniFi? Except except except, like, sandwich paninis. You know what I mean? Not, like, NFT panini.
[1:06:06] Landy @CryptoLandy: You know, they... Honestly, they should have... You know, like, you should be able to rip packs and create your own panini, like, sandwich in card form. Like, this this needs to be a thing. For us.
[1:06:18] Dave @DCBK2LA: I didn't know how you were gonna dad dad up, but there you go. You just did a great job at dad.
[1:06:22] Landy @CryptoLandy: Yeah. I can dad anything up. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. Dads do.
[1:06:26] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Killing the joke. Natalie, I know it's twenty minutes after the allotted time slot here, but you ain't got anything else, or what's the deal? Or we we got Jesus tonight.
[1:06:36] NatNat @Natnatx007: So LJ calls me the time police because I'm all with them at the time. But we have our own. But the conversation was was... It was very informative towards the end, and I always... Whenever I'm into something... We're we're all like that. Right? Whenever we see something that can provide an opportunity for our audience, I think it's worth the conversation.
[1:06:58] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And, Natalie, I owe you a massive thank you. Like, you genuinely are there to literally just always back me up, like, any single time. Like, I need, like, this thing covered or we gotta switch or whatever. So, seriously, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You're, like, the best for for... I mean, everything. You're a gem. Appreciate you.
[1:07:16] NatNat @Natnatx007: I appreciate you too, Julian.
[1:07:17] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. And the rest of you misfits are alright, I guess. Sure.
[1:07:21] NatNat @Natnatx007: Wait. So you're you're hosting tomorrow?
[1:07:24] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. I'll I'll switch with you if... I mean, unless you wanna host again, but, yeah, I'm happy to switch tomorrow for sure.
[1:07:28] NatNat @Natnatx007: Okay. Alright. Sounds good. I do have the the... Like you call it, the Jesus thing tomorrow, not today.
[1:07:35] Dave @DCBK2LA: We're missing... The only guy we're missing anyway... Is he in here? Jiffy's not here today. Remember Jesus is for everyone? J I f e. Jiffy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe not for Jews. I mean, there are Jews for Jesus. But... Yeah. Anyways.
[1:07:49] Landy @CryptoLandy: I mean, Jesus was a Jewish guy.
[1:07:51] NatNat @Natnatx007: He was?
[1:07:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yeah. Yes. He was. Yes. He was.
[1:07:53] NatNat @Natnatx007: He was
[1:07:54] Landy @CryptoLandy: the king of the Jews as as a matter of fact.
[1:07:56] Dave @DCBK2LA: You're welcome.
[1:07:59] NatNat @Natnatx007: With that being said, guys, alright. It has been a fantastic show. Thank you all for coming, Dave. Anytime, my brother. If anything happens tomorrow and you need me to host again, just let me know. Okay?
[1:08:09] Dave @DCBK2LA: Yep. And you guys don't wanna know what Nat says to me over text messages to why I'm I'm late late sometimes? Sometimes? You
[1:08:14] NatNat @Natnatx007: don't wanna wanna know what what? To just gonna rock pull it.
[1:08:21] Dave @DCBK2LA: Wait. Clap yourself up.
[1:08:22] NatNat @Natnatx007: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Hold on. Let me let get up. Well, let let me do the formal exit. Thank you all for coming. Dave. It was a pleasure. Landy, my quant, Monica, any... Milo, everyone that came in, everyone that repos in the space. LJ, I will definitely link the Panini website in the comment section. If you wanna talk more about it, my DMs are always open. Thank you guys so much. We'll see you again tomorrow. You guys have a good night. I'm gonna clap everyone up, not just me, the whole space.
[1:08:51] Dave @DCBK2LA: Soldier boy. Tell them, folks.
